Prompt: "Why do you have that look on your face?"
Yin Yang was not quite sure what exactly he had just walked in on. He had (for some reason) agreed to train and spar with his partner, Gunnar Jensen, but had gotten to talking to Lee Christmas as soon as he got to the hanger, so he was late. Now, he had walked into the hanger's gym to the sight before him.
Jacoba Dixie Kooper (the Amazon as she was now called for missions) was sitting in the Lotus Pose in the middle of the room, meditating. What surprised the martial artist was that he saw that his partner was sitting in the same position right next to her. The Viking was leaning slightly towards her, saying something low enough that Yin couldn't hear. Whatever it was, it caused the Amazon to smile wide while keeping her eyes closed. Yin shook his head; he still couldn't believe that those two were so oblivious to their own feelings towards each other.
The movement of his head must have caught Gunnar's eye, because the Swede was now looking over at him, his brow furrowed. "Why do you have that look on your face, Happy Feet?"
"Don't call me that."
Before Gunnar could retort back, Jacoba placed a hand on his arm without looking. Opening her eyes, Yin watched as she gave the Swede and unamused look (to which he rolled his eyes in response) before her gaze focused on Yin. "Is there something that we can do for you, Yin?"
This time, Gunnar beat Yin to speaking. "Yeah, he was supposed to meet me here about ten, fifteen minutes ago. So, it looks like he took a page out of your book and was late. Ow! Uncalled for!"
Jacoba glared at the Viking as he rubbed his arm where she had hit him. "No. what was uncalled for was the jab you just made towards me." Leaning forward, she put her palms flat on the mat before pushing herself up to stand. Holding out a hand to help Gunnar up, she kept facing Yin. "Give me a couple of minutes and I'll be out of your guys' hair."
Gunnar, who was now standing behind her, smirked at his partner before leaning forward and putting his chin onto the Amazon's shoulder. "You could always stay. Maybe you'll learn a thing or two."
As Jacoba elbowed the Viking in the gut, Yin shook his head. Those two really had no clue that they were so in love with each other. They really needed to pull their heads out of their butts, before it was too late.
