Prompt: "You're going to break his heart if you pull a stunt like this."
"He has a heart?"
"Are you sure about this, Amazon?"
Jacoba rolled her eyes as she put on the last of her make-up in the mirror that Barney was holding up for her. They were on the plane while the rest of the team was scouting out the area around them. Jacoba didn't really care if the others saw her change into her nice clothes for a mission, but as soon as any mention of her having to be dressed up to do anything came up, the rest of the team would give her space in order to change and put on make-up. Barney would usually be finishing his post-flight check of the plane, so he would end up being the one to hold her mirror, since none of the guys would come back. "What kind of question is that, boss man?"
"Amazon."
Jacoba scoffed as she took the mirror and finished putting her make-up away. "Barn, this is a part of the job that needs to happen every so often. I don't really have a choice. So, if flirting with one of the target's henchmen is what's going to get us the information we need, then I will do that in a heartbeat."
Barney sighed. "You know that you're going to break his heart if you do anymore stunts like this."
Jacoba furrowed her brow. "His who? Do you mean Gunnar? I didn't know he had a heart."
Barney rolled his eyes as he began to make his way to the door. "I wouldn't be so sure of that, Amazon. Hurry it up so that we can get this show on the road."
Jacoba rolled her eyes as she followed him out.
In the end, Jacoba didn't have to actually flirt with the henchmen in order to get the information out of him. But when she looked over at Gunnar before she headed into the plane to quickly change so that they could continue the mission, Jacoba had seen what had looked like a slightly jealous look that he had schooled rather quickly. Deciding that she would need to examine that later (and ignoring the slight jump that her heart made at seeing that look), she moved quickly so that they could finish the mission. Jaocba was going to have a lot to think about after that.
