Let's move them in!
The legalities: I do not own any of the Expendables franchise (characters, places, and objects especially) and this is mostly au.Rated M just to be on the safe side.
Also, please don't be afraid to write reviews. I would love to hear from you all!
Hope you enjoy!
Prompt: "Really? A farm?"
"Don't judge me, I like the quiet."
"I have to say, this isn't exactly what I thought I'd see when we got to your new place."
Jacoba rolled her eyes as she attempted to move past Tool into her and Gunnar's new place outside of town. When the tattoo artist made no effort to move, she glared at him. "Tool! Would you move, please? I happen to be carrying a rather heavy container of books here!"
Tool's eyes widened and he quickly moved out of her way. He had come with the rest of the team to assist Jacoba and Gunnar move their belongings into the new house. Though, to be fair, it was mostly her stuff that was needing to be moved, but still. Jacoba was glad that he came, don't get her wrong, but he just seemed to be getting in the way. Huffing, Jacoba pushed past him and made her way to the room that she had earmarked for her library. "Boys, make sure that you're listening to Trench on where to put that furniture up there!"
"You do know that he isn't going to direct them to put the furniture into the correct rooms, right?"
Jacoba glared at the tattoo artist, who just shrugged in response. "At least he is helping, Tool. So, what do you want?"
Tool held up his hands in surrender. "I really just wanted to ask you a question."
"Then ask it!"
"It's just…really? A farm?"
Jacoba growled as she turned back towards Tool. "Do NOT judge me. I like the quiet."
"Okay, okay, calm down, Amazon."
Jacoba was practically seeing red as she made to advance towards Tool. The only thing that stopped her was the arm that quickly snaked around her waist, holding her in place. She continued to glare at the tattoo artist as Gunnar (who she had known was holding onto her without even looking) addressed the man. "Tool, I would suggest that you go and actually grab something from the truck and move it in. Otherwise, I'm going to let my woman go."
As Tool quickly scampered away from her, Jacoba sighed as she turned into the Swede's embrace. "Thanks, hon. I was liable to do something that I'd regret later."
Gunnar scoffed. "He was asking for it. Any regrets yet, doll?"
The Amazon chuckled. "Nope." She pulled him into a deep kiss before either of them could say anything else.
"Aww, come on, guys!"
Both were chuckling as they broke apart, simultaneously flipping off Caesar before returning to their unloading. This was the beginning of something great and neither could wait.
