The Olympians had all got a very strange message from Annabeth, it was rather cryptic not a single one of them truly understood the meaning behind it. All they knew it had something to do with Percy. They were now in the throne room yet again, after having 0 clues about where Percy could be the anger in the room because of that fact alone grew significantly. Lady iris had joined them once again as Zeus wanted her to show them what Annabeth was up to every single one of them watched the screen and saw the whole trial play out.
They realised that it was a sick game for this guy. They couldn't figure out where he was while they were watching the whole screen, they watched Annabeth look at the cameras, then follow exactly where Percy had been from each of the cameras. They saw Percy looking as frail as a wilted rose, unable to catch her breath as she was walking as fast as she could trying not to draw any attention to herself. The Olympians wondered why she was not running or going to someone for help. It wasn't until Athena had sort of caught on to what the rules of the trial were. She wasn't allowed to ask for anyone's help. She wasn't allowed to interact with anyone and she wasn't allowed to draw attention to herself once this was pointed out. Several other Olympians wondered why Percy is actually listening to this man; unfortunately, Athena had an answer for that too. This was her one chance of getting free and she'd seen what the man would do if she doesn't do as she is told as the letter states, her actions as well as theirs will affect what happens to her. Athena had brought up the letter and all of them remembered the horrible sight that they had bestowed them. The writing in blood, the bloody hand print all of it and they all fell silent once as Annabeth raised towards the spot percy had found in an old little antique shop. The antiques in this shop were not ancient to say the least, they were just old stuff from the mortal world that most people wouldn't find interesting at all. But the shop was cluttered enough that it was near impossible to see someone from outside. Percy had sort of hidden towards the back clutching her chest trying to draw in a breath. She had spent her whole life training and frankly should have more stamina. Apollo sat in the corner next to his sister Artemis he saw the way Percy was struggling to draw in breaths and the doctor in him knew that due to Percy's treatment, lack of food, lack of water, lack of access to the outside world has made it hard for her to keep up her stamina. After all, you have to keep training even if it's a little bit like walking around or going for a little run every day to keep up her lady of a hunt grew more worried as she herself knew that if her hunters stopped training the way they did, they would struggle the same way. The Olympians watched as Percy was sitting at the back of the antique shop, curled up in a corner, pretending that she was looking at an item. Her hair was in disarray from the small dress covering her body but it was obvious how frail she was, they saw Percy reach down towards the dress and start tearing at the lining. They had no idea what she was doing, but it seemed that she was trying to get some fabric to cover up the wound on her hand that she had opened up yet again. It was obvious that that was the hand that had been cut to write the letter. They all held their breaths as they saw Annabeth not too far behind. But by the time she got there it was too late. Seconds before Annabeth had rounded the corner the man had found Percy and disappeared into smoke as fury rose in annabeth. She saw her friend gone, but on the floor was a small scrap of fabric.
it looked to have writing on picked it up and with tears welling in her eyes and flashed away.
Percy had reappeared still breathing heavy, but she wasn't in her , she was somewhere man looked at her and a sick smile across his lips
"Well that was entertaining, wasn't it a little princess? It seems your friend wasn't as fast as you expected her to be"
"It seems so", said Percy weakly not looking up from the floor as tears pricked at her eyes she would have kept going she would have kept walking, but with every step she had taken the harder it had become to draw breaths. Percy had no idea why but she had to stop perhaps if she hadn't had to stop Annabeth would have found her.
"Well then it seems you are remain here now"
"What is it you want from me exactly?"Percy's anger was rising at this point. She had no idea why this man continued to keep her as a hostage, he hadn't given her any distinct reason.
"Like I've said many times you will find out in due time"
"When! When will I find out?It seems that you're constantly not telling me just to make me angry. If you bloody tell me then perhaps we can get this over with and I can go home." Percy's anger was bubbling over and the man's face grew Stern, angry Percy would have noticed it if she wasnt so angry herself and perhaps she would have flinched away, but she was was fuming she didn't want to be here any longer and refused to be treated like this.
"I'd watch your mouth if I were you don't think I don't know what you did that broke the rules"
Percy's breath froze in her knew what the man was knew what she had had broken the rules simply to send a message to annabeth.
"You know what happens when you break the rules? Princess, don't you?"
