Chapter 144: Hell Kaiser VS Kuaidul Velgear
Kuaidul was a charitable overlord. An angel. Don't be influenced by the bad rap secondary characters/minor antagonists such as Badlove propagated. Kuaidul gave the people what they wanted.
It just so happened what the people wanted was what he wanted too.
A Duel he'd already duelled.
A recap, to pass the time while the test tube on his lab table changed colours, Kuaidul mulling the best place to make his entrance, in expectation the Damamus would stimulate Yudias' consciousness and lead Yudias to him.
In the Mutsuba Town of Yudias' mind.
In the dark, kinda scary school where Kuaidul had been up to his old tricks.
"Oh!"
"Is that so?"
The anatomical model of the human body appeared a great fit. The perfect intersection between horrific and mildly humorous he was aiming for.
Then again, some were sick of this wibbly wobbly, timey wimey stuff. Jumping between places, times, and worlds merely teased. The past and the future, just the battleground in a lovesick lesbian/closet bi young lady's crusade to be united with the man of her sweet delusions from the far-flung future, after her relationship with a talented space poet ended.
Was Yudias even the main character…the star of the show anymore? When would the Velgearians have a role to play in the story again? Admittedly, outside forces beyond Kuaidul's current limitations had shoved his meticulously plotted narrative to the sidelines.
But worry not. He'd give Yudias the push he needed to grow up, and the fierce spirit to Ritual Summon and defeat Yuhi, who'd become Otes.
A font of souls cut loose from Eternal Galactica Oblivion, and from the Milky Way Galaxy in Yudias' chest!
"Kuaidul Velgear! Now I, the lone proto-Karutumata, takes you back four or five episodes, on the road to an alternate world's Rush Duel!"

"So, the first turn will be mine. Proto-Velgear Draw. I summon Black Dragon's Chick."

"And now, I send it to the Graveyard to activate its effect. I Special Summon Red-Eyes Black Dragon from my hand!"
Red-Eyes Black Dragon (Level 7 DARK Dragon/Normal ATK 2400 DEF 2000)
"That's not all. I activate the Magic Card, Black Flame Blast. This turn, Red-Eyes Black Dragon cannot attack, but…You take damage equal to Red-Eyes Black Dragon's ATK!"
"Hmff." (Hell Kaiser Ryo LP 4000 ↓ 1600)
"I set two cards. Turn end."
"If you think that Deck can throw me off my game…"
"I thought I'd make it interesting for you, Hell Kaiser."
Kuaidul had Deck Mastered that shit and built (or rather netdecked) the Deck on the spot.
"I don't care whose Deck you use. I must live this moment to its fullest. My turn. Draw! Come out, Cyber Dragon!"

"If only I control a monster, Cyber Dragon can be Special Summoned from your hand, right?"
"I release Cyber Dragon to Advance Summon! Cyber Dragon evolves into Cyber Assault Dragon!"

"A Level 8 for one release?"
"When Cyber Dragon is used in the Advance Summon of Cyber Assault Dragon, only one release is necessary."
What I call…PRIME ADVANCE SUMMON! Kuaidul took credit. "But because you Normal Summoned a Level 5 or higher monster, I can activate my Trap, Black Dragon's Roar. Red-Eyes Black Dragon's ATK and DEF go up by 700 until the end of turn, and I can return a Magic Card from my Graveyard to the top of my Deck. Of course, the Magic Card I choose is Black Flame Blast!"

"I summon Proto-Cyber Dragon in Attack Position."

"Proto-Cyber Dragon's name becomes Cyber Dragon while on the field! And with it and Cyber Assault Dragon…Fusion! Come out, Cyber Tactical Dragon!"
Cyber Tactical Dragon (Level 9 LIGHT Machine/Fusion/Effect ATK 3200 DEF 2100)
"I activate Cyber Tactical Dragon's special effect! I shuffle two LIGHT Machine-Type monsters from my Graveyard into my Deck, and destroy up to two face-up monsters on your field with total ATK less than or equal to Cyber Tactical's ATK!"

"I destroy Red-Eyes!"
"Kkh!"
"I set a card! Battle! Cyber Tactical Dragon's direct attack! Evolution Tactical Shot!"
"Duaaah!" (Kuaidul LP 4000 ↓ 800)
"Turn end."
"I see why they call you Hell Kaiser. That was relentless." Kuaidul rubbed his chin on his wrist. "My turn. Proto-Velgear Draw. I activate the Magic Card, Swing of Memories, bringing back Red-Eyes Black Dragon!"
Red-Eyes Black Dragon (Level 7 DARK Dragon/Normal ATK 2400 DEF 2000)
"Magic Card, Black Flame Blast! Red-Eyes Black Dragon's ATK, 2400, is taken out of your Life Points!"
The black fireball hurtled towards Ryo.
"Don't underestimate the Hell Kaiser! Trap Card, open! Cyburn Wall!" Ryo threw the top five cards off his Deck.
"What?"
"Cyburn Wall activates when I receive damage from a card effect. For each card I send from the top of my Deck to the Graveyard, I reduce that damage by 500 points."
"That was close. If you hadn't activated that Trap…Anyway, allow me to demonstrate Red-Eyes Black Dragon's potential! I fuse Red-Eyes Black Dragon on my field with the Meteor Dragon in my hand! From the burning dark meteor, the molten gift superseding common sense. Victory. Fusion Summon! Meteor Black Dragon!"
Meteor Black Dragon (Level 8 FIRE Dragon/Fusion ATK 3500 DEF 2000)
"3500 ATK?"
"Equip Magic, Meteorite Dragon Nails. Now, in the name of this traveller from afar, I present this meteoric power to Meteor Black Dragon! The equipped monster gains 300 ATK, and if it is a non-Effect Fusion Monster, gains an additional 700 ATK and can't be destroyed by opposing card effects!"

"Battle! Meteor Black Dragon attacks Cyber Tactical Dragon!"
Meteor Black Dragon had barely taken off from the volcano's caldera before it reared its lava-veined neck back, spitting a superheated boulder that blew up Cyber Tactical Dragon and turned what was left into a heap of charred, smelted metal.
