Just a handful of paragraphs to prove I am still thinking of our favorite couple 3 The Vibe: I Think He Knows by Taylor Swift. Mainly because the line "I am an architect, I'm drawing up the plans" is so Kile coded.

I'm DEFINITELY going to write a multi chap fic for them, hopefully my usual 20-some chapters, 60-80k words, but I have to get past the outlining stage first. And finish the 75 chapter behemoth I promised I would not give up on, even if it will never see the light of day.

When Eadlyn fell in love with Kile Woodwork, she was actually the last to know.

It started with America and Marlee whispering conspiratorially, giggling and hoping but never saying anything, fearing they would jinx it. If Eadlyn had been paying attention, she might have noticed Josie's knowing glances, oh-so-pleased that her little trick had worked. Ahren, of course, knew before just about anybody else. He could read his sister like a book, and all those smiles and laughs, the new softness of her icy edges, that meant something.

The rest of the Selected started to notice too. The jokes about Kile having this special advantage weren't jokes anymore, and they began to wonder what they were still doing there. Judging by the way she looked at him, the Selection might as well be over, even though she claimed in private she wasn't ready for love or marriage or any of that nonsense.

Then there was Kile himself. He wanted it- something he never would have said six months ago- but he couldn't let himself believe it until the evidence was irrefutable. This was the Royal Pain in the Ass, after all. Since when did they speak in civil tones, much less seek out each other's company at every opportunity? It still felt so surreal, being drawn to her that way, but so right at the same time. And when she finally said it out loud-

I love you

-Kile was just glad they'd finally figured it out.
