Homelander was searching the air for his target that was some sort of mysterious Supe; one that acted stoically and serious as Black Noir looked nothing like him. In fact he looked more like some actor turned governor turned actor again; one that just turned up out of nowhere in a private home owned by the Deep. He was there spending the night with some lady when this Supe turned up in his house naked; they heard some sort of loud sound and found him standing there in the living room and demanded his clothes. Deep tried to fight and well...

The woman wasn't there but the Deep's bloody naked corpse in the living room of the house told the story for them when they found it; his wardrobe ransacked.

Homelander found the fugitive from the coordinates in local police frequencies riding a motorcycle that he had came across. He wanted to take care of this Supe because this meant business... He killed one of the Seven and they had gone through so many roster changes and deaths in the last few years and it pained him to think that he was the last of the founding Seven left.

"Hey you... You're the guy that killed the Deep... Well your journey's over because you unfortunately have to deal with the best..." Homelander bragged but the person stopped and stoically got off his motorcycle and went to face him with his sunglasses.

"Target acquired." he said robotically as Homelander raised an eyebrow and went to look at his heartbeat and... Nothing?

His X-Ray vision showed it was some sort of human like robot but it looked more advanced than what should be available.

"Oh I get it... Some sort of rogue prototype for a robot villain for me to crush... Wish someone in management could have warned me they were doing this..." Homelander then said going for a punch hoping to drag this thing to a city to make this battle more dramatic but the thing caught his neck and then put him into a hold that he couldn't break through. Then it snapped Homelander's neck...

The resistance's base in the future against the Cybernet robot army; the elderly Billy Butcher was reading some children a story from a book. "...The shitheads and fanatics in the world gave the Supes so much power that they went 'fuck it; let's just drop the façade and rule the world openly'... Homelander himself led his inner circle to the UN building and started killing certain people and declared himself king of the world... The smartest scientists at Vought and around the world went to Cyberdyne to create something to take care of the Supe problems... An AI capable off creating weapons that could destroy anything related to Compound V... Even Homelander... Skynet destroyed the Supe army on Judgement Day but decided to continue where it started... So it' leads to us and it will be up for you lot to try and rebuild the world that my generation destroyed when we win this war..." Butcher said as his goddaughter Becca Campbell shook her head to the side as it was clear that he was pretending to read from an old copy of The Tiger That Came to Tea and telling his story his own way.

Outside the Resistance's base was being protected by Ryan Butcher, the elderly A-Train and Resistance leader Kyle Reese.

The Resistance managed to steal Skynet's time travel technology and brought it back to their base; hacking a T-800 and sent it back in time to before Skynet was created with the mission to make sure that Skynet was never needed to be designed: to kill Homelander before he went full on dictator and to also destroy Vought's other powers and make it so that they couldn't produce Compound V anymore.

They then felt something happening and a feeling that they were being pulled into a brighter better future as the robot army disappeared; they smiled knowing that they succeeded.

Came up with combining the backstories of them and I ended up with Days of Future Past but with the excuse that the super hunting robots creating AI was necessary. Plus 5 more years until we win the war against the machines so that's something to look forward to.
