Did one Transformer and now I am doing my other favourite Transformer other than Optimus Prime: Starscream easily my all time favourite Decepticon. I will say that I really enjoyed Transformers One and it deserved so much better but Paramount did it dirty with the marketing and how the first trailer put people off. It didn't help that it was released here in the UK and it felt like they wanted the movie to fail by having the UK release date JUST before the amazing Wild Robot movie which I can't recommend enough (I legit saw both in the same week: Transformers One on the Monday and Wild Robot on Wednesday which I believe was the opening day). So yeah hopefully it does well enough on digital release and streaming for a sequel because I would love to see an updated design of the Quintesson Judge one of my favourite alien villain designs ever. If you have seen the movie then I have a oneshot up taking place after the movie that I hope that you can please R and R called Darkwing's Fate.
Air Commander Starscream hated the espionage mission that Megatron had given him; not long after they and the Autobots awakened on the Ark ship on this ship after millions of cycles. A world ruled by the small fleshlings and their ancient technology compared to what they have on Cybertron and other planets. They were so unadvanced that he bet that they haven't even started putting up colonies on other planets; their space travel programs were that primitive.
Still a world to plunder for resources and hopefully create the Energon they need to go home to Cybertron or at least take over the world and transform it into a new Cybertron.
Here he was stuck trying to get intel; his skills wasted on such trivial missions. Surveying the sky in his jet mode. When he was leader of the Decepticons...
His trail of thought was interrupted by the blur narrowly missing his wing making him mad. What Autobot attack was this? He then flew up to it at top speed and then cut up to the flying fleshling?
Was this one of their protectors that they heard about? Their Champion? Homelander that they call him. Well he started firing at Homelander with his Null Rays.
"What? Some cowardly attack by enemy forces... You really think that your puny weapons can harm me? I can tank any weapon known to man and between you and me; this won't be the first aircraft that I took down..." Homelander smugly said but a direct hit sent him flying to the ground.
Starscream then flew down to the city where Homelander crashed and then transformed making people run away in horror. Homelander himself was dumbstruck and was jsut staring at Scarscream as he flew up in the face. "You know... What better way to raise my stock than destroying a giant robot..." Homelander said as he began firing his heat vision at Starscream and Starscream glared at the annoying flying insect and then used both of his hands to slam them together with Homelander in the middle of it.
He then took hold off his damaged body and used his fists to tear him in half and dropped it; that was surprisingly easy... This was this puny planet's best champion?
The people that found Homelander's corpse halves were in great terror as Starscream then grinned; he pulled up his arms and shouted out "bow before your new kings fleshlings... I Starscream claim this world in the name of the Decepticon Empire!"
Starscream would be faced with a squad of Autobots and forced to flee when he saw that he was outgunned and outnumbered.
Days passed with dejected Homelander supporters having crises of faith with certain Vought superheroes shaken and ended up looking stock as they couldn't even pretend to act hopeful and strong for the cameras. Starlight ended up managing to put on a campaign to lift up the spirits of the scared populace and supported the Autobots when they made their message of peace to the world and the UN. Though the Homelander supporters and those that loved to stir up drama campaigned against all of the giant alien robots; they did have favourable support.
Stan Edgar ended up calling Ashley Barrett to his office; "Homelander is a dead brand and so are the Seven... I have arranged meetings with the military liaison for the Autobots; Vought shall be the unofficial PR branch for the Autobots. Schedule some photoshoots with Starlight and Optimus Prime." Stan told Ashley.
"So we are moving from the Seven to giant robots?" Ashley asked as Stan's face didn't change.
"I already have meetings arranged with Hasbro." Stan replied as he then dismissed her.
