Somewhere far away, not quite in the New World but still far away, a pair or ships were about to clash. One was a filled with fishman, all rearing to tear apart a kingdom as part of Mr.6's boss' plan to create a utopia. The fact that the kingdom was filled with arrogant humans who believed the desert would protect them only strengthen their resolve and determination.

The other ship was a xebec, a merchant vessel, decrorated with the images of lion, goat and snake.

"Brothers and sisters." The captain, tall man with purple hair, dressed in the robes of a sultan, smiled as he stepped froeward, a dog by his side. "Mr. 6's Billions are on their way to Alabasta to help Mr.0 level it to the ground. That is an entire army of Fishman, all of whom impressed Baroque Work's top field agent."

He then turned and smirked

"Its a darn shame they'll never get there."

The crew all smirked

"HINAHO!"

"Aye, Captain!" A Buccaner beamed as he manned the helms.

"Yamraiha." Sinbad smirked. The Fishwoman just rolled her eyes and dove into the sea, racing under the enemy ship as she began to weave her hands and staff

"MERMAN JUJITSU SECRET ART: TENTACLE TRAP!"

The Billions found their ship pierced by water tendrils that began to sink their ship.

"I have loyalty to who I have loyalty to."

The Billions intially thought nothing of this, they were fishman, they could swim the rest of the way…At least, that had been their line of thinking before the opposing crew leapt onto their ship

"LETS GET RICH!" The captain declared, as he drew his blade, which danced with lightning that shocked several Billions.

An equally well dressed man helped a beautiful woman onto the ship, seemingly ignoring a Fishman racing to them. He then glanced, and from him came a burst of force that sent many of the Fishman collapsing. He then motioned for the woman to wait a moment before gracefully backflipping the attacker overboard.

"Apologies, Habitee." The man cooed to his wife.

The woman sighed.

"Nika would be so disappointed." She sighed as she walked along, removing her shal to reveal a tattoo that made some of the Fishman pause: The 'Hoof' of the Dragon. Spying some of the now reluctant fishman, she smiled sadly. "We were all hurt. And we may be again. Vegence is understandable and needed….But sadly for once?"

She then drew a dagger and stabbed one of the still fighting Fishman in the back.

"You shall get none from me." She then kicked the stabbed fishman away and glared at the eyes of the apparent leader; a Great White Fishman with a large stomach.

"You seem higher up. Answer me this question and you'll live: WHERE IS MY HABIBI?!"

The Fishman clammered back in shock, minus the leader, who smirked and threw his wet arm at the woman, who was blocked by a redheaded giant of a young man who kicked the offender away with a frown on his face.

"Um…Too late, Hordy." Another said, pointing to several sea kings, now all floating away as they listening to a small, young and blonde woman play her flute.

"Okay, bye!" Psiti said as she suddenly leapt off, landing onto the back of a golden skinned, axol like creature who swam backtowards the Chimera, revealing he too had a 'hoof of the dragon' tattooed on his back. He then transformed, becoming a darker skinned, large man with a smile now on his face.

"I searched what I could. Aside from food and weapons, nothing."

"Then aside from some grub, nothing'll be lost." A conifdent young man with tanned skin and white hair smirked as he emerged. "And it looks like you guys left me some fun, Good."

He then leapt upwards and drew his sword, a kophesh. He then breathed and swung it. A second later, the Sea Kings were all dead, chopped into bits along with the ship the Fishman had been using.

Yamiraiha finally emerged frm the water, the battered form of several fishmen behind her as she then waved her arms to create a bubble that surrounded her comrades and Hordy

"Way too overcompensate, my love." She smiled as the bubble inched towards the Chimera.

"O-overcompensate?!" Sharkkan gasped in shock, most of his comrades nodding in agreement. "Captain Sinbad shocked most of them and barely did anything!"

Undettered and uncaring of the strange powers these humans possessed, Hordy reached forward to bite off Spartos' head, only to pause when he suddenly felt pure, unadlutered killing intent.

"Do not mess with a parent." A voice said. "or the consequences of striking any religious figure."

The speaker was a young, lighter blonde man with freckles wearing a green headgear and who now wrapped Hordy in bandages while brandishing many blades…all in lethal places.

THIRD IN COMMAND, DOCTOR AND ASSASSIN OF THE CHIMERA

The dog that had stayed at Sinbad's side suddenly bit Hordy right on his…tooshie, and then, with surprising strength, tossed him aside into the ocean, where he swam back to fishman island, whimpering amidst swearings of revenge,

"Good boy, Spike!" Psiti beamed as she, Sinbad and Solomon petted him affectionately

Sinbad then rose his sword and aimed at what remained of the ship. Then from the sky, came a bolt of lightning that reduced the ship to nothing and awoke the remaining Fishman into fleeing.

"Jafar, Hinaho, bring back as much of the Sea King meat as we can." He ordered as he sheathed his blade, spying his partner comforting his wife.

The other members of the crew looked on the scene in sadness and fear they all shared: While this mission HAD kept Alabasta safe and their own Yamiraiha had achived the master status she deserved, their comrades, the Seven Swordsman, had been villainized, slain…and Aladdin, their future cabin boy and beloved godchild, was know being held captive after eating a Devil fruit that they just KNEW the World Government and Emperors would do anything to get.

"My baby…" The woman fought back tears, as memories filled her head: His birth, his smile, his first words…

"…I now owe Draco and the Straw Hats even more." Solomon mused aloud, as he too recalled memories:

Him and Sinbad being invited to a Reviere The city of the Celestials in flames. A celestial murdered by a boy….and the women he now called his beloved wife, who'd been kept as a story-teller and very nearly saved herself from lecherous intent and advances, shaking and smiling madly as she begged for safety.

"Jafar. How quickly can we get to the Capital?"

Jafar tested the air and sighed.

"At this rate?...a week. And that's if the winds stay with us."

Solomon cursed himself. If only Haki could affect the world.

"I can try and keep us speeding when and if they leave." Yamiraiha noted. "But that is not something even master Jinbei could do indefinitely…"

Masur walked up to her.

"…Even with your help, dear friend."

Masur frowned.

"…Well, there is…one way." Sinbad mused as clouds started thundering around him…and he began to grow and took on an inhuman form, something which made his crew grimace.

"We may get there in time, but it'll be a bumpy ride…" Sharrkan mused

"anything will be worth it." Solomon declared.

And once the transformation was done, their captain now in the sky with the Chimera in one giant talon and the crew riding his gigantic brow? They sped off.

Mortrax A/N:

I wrote this chapter just to make sure that the crew of the Chimera have a nice set up. They are indeed from the manga 'Magi' which fits Alabasta's theme. The attack on the new Billions (remember the comments about Mr. 6 and their time in Fishman Island?) is inspired by Dreamworks 'Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas.'

Sinbad's bounty is meant to be a nod to '1001 Arabian Nights'. And Marouf is a composite character of Drakon from Magi and Marouf from the movie 'Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger.'

We also learn a wee bit more of the incident in which Draco killed a World Noble; it was during a Reviere and in doing so, he freed Solomon's wife Sherazade (she'll get a proper introduction during the arc finale) and Marouf, who came into the Chimera.

Decided to have Hordy be a part of this attack to maybe try and make the New Fishman pirates a wee bit more of a challenge down the line…That and I hate the guy, so I figured why not have him humiliated by a crew of mostly normal humans before down the line the Straw Hats do him and his crew even worse?

And yes, aside from Sinbad and Marouf? The crew of the Chimera are all 'fairly' normal humans with no devil fruits. Feel free to guess Sinbad's devil fruit!

Next, we return to Alabasta as the Straw Hats, Vivi and several allies, new and familiar, move to take the fight to Crocodile!
