On the weekend morning, in Eddy's garage, the Eds begin to prepare for their latest scam using Madame Foster's Artie costume that Eddy bribes Jonny to take from Foster's for granola, whilst waiting for Mac's arrival.
"Cool!" Ed said, "It is so life like!"
"I wonder how Mac's idea could work?" Eddy asked, while being skeptical.
"Well, Eddy," Double D exclaimed, "Mac's idea of having this costume of a four-year old imaginary child that everyone in the Foster's mansion used to psychologically torture him and manipulating and guilt-tripping him to humiliate himself two days ago being made into various items sounds very creative and unique, don't you think?"
"Mac's a fun, creative kid, Eddy!" Ed said.
"Yeah right!" Eddy said sarcastically, "This idea for a scam ain't going to work for me, Sockhead!"
Then Rolf walks by while walking with his goat Victor.
"Hello, mischievous Ed Boys!" he asked, "What is your daily attempt on swindling right now?"
"We're using this, Rolf!" Ed said, while showing Rolf the Artie costume, "Cool, huh?"
Rolf stares at the Artie costume and then, suddenly, he becomes horrified and frightened of the costume.
"JIMINY!" Rolf cried in horror when seeing Artie and carried Victor in his arms, "It is one of the horrifying beings of me Old Country that has haunted Rolf's family for generations!"
Then the superstitious Rolf, carrying Victor, runs away in fear and horror to his house, passing an arriving Mac, yelling and screaming, "MAMA! IT HAS NOW RETURNED TO THE CUL-DE-SAC, BRINGING TERROR AND CURSE TO ROLF! BLURF!"
As Rolf runs away to his house in horror, screaming, Mac arrives in the cul-de-sac from his apartment and walks to Eddy's.
"Hey guys!" Mac says, "Am I late?"
"You're just in time to be with us for our latest scam, Mac!" Double D says happily.
"What's with Rolf?" Mac asked.
"Nah, he's always like that!" Eddy says.
Eddy then turns to Ed.
"Ed!" he asked, "The costume!"
"Got it!" Ed laughed and threw the Artie costume into Eddy's face. Eddy groans in annoyance as he carries the costume out of his face and hands it to Mac.
"Here's the pair of scissors Mac!" Double D offered to him.
"Thanks!" Mac responds as he takes the scissors.
Mac stares at the Artie costume in silence. After a long pause, Eddy becomes impatient.
"Well," Eddy asked, annoyed, "What are you waiting for? I 'ain't got all day?"
"Eddy!" Double D scolded, "This is Mac's first day of helping you with your latest scam! Not to mention that this costume is what traumatizes him and got him here in the first place!"
"Yeah, whatever!" Eddy replied before turning to Mac, "But this idea of yours better work, because you owe us if it doesn't!"
Mac sighs and then looks at the Artie costume while carrying the scissors. As he stares at the face of the imaginary four-year-old, he starts to have voices in his head and flashbacks of "him" saying "he's" "four years old", Frankie lying to him that the party was for "him", everyone in the mansion loving and caring for "him" than Mac, everyone angrily shaming and insulting him with harsh and abusive words for ruining "his" birthday that made him feel saddened and emotionally hurt, Bloo forcing him to make this up to "Artie" by humiliating himself by being Maco the clown, "Artie" revealing to be Madame Foster who owned the costume, and end with Bloo's "One. Step. Ahead!" gloat and everyone laughing and poking fun at him. Once his flashbacks and voices in his head are gone, his facial expression becomes anger and fury. His teeth grit while continuing to furiously stare at the Artie costume, giving it all the burning hatred he's wanted.
"Say goodbye to your stupid costume Madame Foster!" He says angrily.
And that's when he begins to cut and destroy it with Double D's scissors. From body part to body part, he rips, cuts, and annihilates Artie with all his passionate hatred and anger on the costume while the Eds stare in shock and awe. He rips and decapitates Artie's head, cuts out Artie's face, tears Artie's hair out, pulls out Artie's T-shirt, shoes, and shorts, cuts out Artie's pointed ears, and cuts and rips out Artie's arms and legs. He growls and snarls with all his rage and hatred on Artie during this. He throws the pieces on the floor and stares at them with his burning odium.
"Good riddance, Artie!" Mac says furiously, "I'm never seeing YOU, your ugly face, and all your stupid friends ever again! That'll teach that witch, her dumb granddaughter Frankie, and everyone in that dump they call mansion for backstabbing and humiliating me! Now who's one step ahead of me, now, Bloo!"
Mac then pants in anger while the Eds continue staring in shock and awe at him.
"Calm down, Mac!" Double D said.
"Yeah, take it easy Tarzan!" Eddy said, "It's just a stupid costume!"
"Was that Mac's dark side?" Ed asked.
Mac then calms down and then turns to the Eds.
"Sorry!" Mac said, "So, what do you think these parts should work guys?"
The Eds looked at all the body parts of the now destroyed Artie costume. Ed picks up Artie's dark green hair and puts it on his head.
"Cool!" Ed said happily, "It's a wig!"
Ed giggles while wearing the wig. Double D picks up the flat green back of Artie's decapitated head and looks at it.
"Intriguing!" he said, "This could be used as a rug!"
Then he sees Artie's ripped legs and picks them up.
"And this could be used for socks or leg warmers!" Double D continued.
"Why would anybody want that, Sockhead?" Eddy asked.
Ed, wearing Artie's chopped face as a mask and Artie's arms as gloves, walks around, saying "I am a cute baby mutant! Give me a hug!"
Ed giggles during this.
"I must say Mac," Double D happily says to Mac, "Your idea for a scam is ingenious! I'm impress!"
Mac smiled, happy to hear some acceptance.
"Yeah, right!" Eddy said, "This idea is stupid! My idea of having it a kids show is way better!"
"Eddy!" Double D defended, "This is Mac's first time helping us with our latest scam and whether you like it or not, this idea of his could work!"
"Whatever!" Eddy said annoyed, "But you two are gonna owe me for this if it doesn't!"
Moments later, a stand made of cardboard with a written sign that says "Eds and Mac's Artie Store, only 25 cents each" was on display with the parts and pieces of the now destroyed Artie costume being hung. Surprisingly, to Eddy at least, the scam worked as all the kids of the Cul-de-sac (except Rolf, who is still superstitious of Artie and is hiding in his house from it) were interested in it and started purchasing the cutted body parts of Artie. Jonny purchased Artie's face mask for himself and Artie's hair wig for Plank.
"Look Plank!" Jonny said in joy, "You get to have a wig! And I get to wear this cool mask!"
That's when Jonny puts on his mask.
"I'm Artie, Plank!" Jonny says with Artie's face before running around, "Come and play with me! Woo-ho-hooo!"
Then, Sarah and Jimmy were the next customers to come in and both looked at the various other items.
"Look Sarah!" Jimmy says, pointing at the white T-shirt with the capital letter A on it and a pair of pink shorts, "I want those!"
"I want those mittens there, Mac!" Sarah said, pointing at Artie's hands.
"Only 25 cents each Sarah and Jimmy!" Mac says.
And so, Sarah and Jimmy pay 75 cents (25 from Sarah and 50 from Jimmy), placing them in Eddy's jar. Then Mac hands them the three chosen items.
"Here you go!" he said.
"Thank you, Mac!" Jimmy said, carrying the shirt and shorts.
"Thanks Mac!" Sarah said, carrying the green mittens, "Isn't he the nicest and sweetest kid you ever met!"
Eddy and Double D stare in awe.
"Pinch me!" Eddy says in amazement, "I must be dreaming!"
Then, Ed pinches Eddy in the butt, causing Eddy to yell, "YOW!"
"You're welcome, Eddy!" Ed said.
Eddy glares at Ed and grunts in annoyance.
"Isn't it neat Jimmy!" Sarah says with her green mittens, "Mac has given me those nice mittens that would keep my hands warm!"
"I look awesome in this t-shirt, Sarah!" Jimmy said, showing his "A" t-shirt, "As I have A for awesome!"
Then, Jonny in his green mask pops out behind and frightens Jimmy with Artie's face, saying "Hiya Jimmy! Would you like me to be your imaginary friend?"
Jonny giggles, before Sarah growls and snarls in rage and fury before she angrily punches him in the face.
"You leave Jimmy alone, Baldy!" she yelled.
Nazz and an unimpressed Kevin walks to Mac and the Eds by the stand.
"Hi Mac!" Nazz says waving to him, "What you got here?"
"Well," Mac says as he pulls out Artie's dismembered legs and shoes, "I brought these!"
"What are those, Mac?" Kevin asked.
"Why," Mac replied, "These are shoes and leg warmers! Try them on!"
"Sure, thing dude!" Nazz says as she takes them.
Kevin turns to Mac.
"You shouldn't be hanging out with these losers in the first place, Mac!" Kevin said.
"Shut up, Shovel Chin!" Eddy roared before turning to his new friend, "Don't listen to him, Mac!"
"Cool!" Nazz says after she puts on her new leg warmers and shoes, "These shoes and leg warmers are totally awesome!"
"Glad you like them, Nazz!" Mac says with the money jar. Nazz pays 50 cents with her new leg warmers and shoes, putting her two quarters into the jar.
"Thanks, Mac!" Nazz says and gives him a peck in the cheek before she walks off.
This causes Mac to become bashful and smirking lustfully with his tongue sticking out. He collapses with his back on the grassy ground and continues lustfully thinking about Nazz. The Eds walk to Mac.
"Are you ok, Mac?" Double D asked.
"Yeah," Mac responded in lustful words, "I'm fine!"
"Does Mac need to go to the bathroom?" Ed asked.
Mac sighs in love.
"Nazz is so awesome!" he continues his lustful talk on his new crush, "She's the best!"
"What a dweeb!" Kevin says, bored, before he walks off.
Mac then gets up and sees Kevin.
"Hey Kevin!" Mac called.
Kevin turned and saw Mac carrying Artie's pointed ears.
"Here are these?" Mac says while showing him the dismembered ears.
"What are those?" Kevin asked.
"Why," Mac said, "those can be used as a flag to put up on your bike!"
"Really?" Kevin asked, skeptical.
"Really!" Mac said in agreement and brought out an elongated bent medal for a pole.
Kevin takes Artie's ears and the medal bending pole, puts the ears on the top of the pole, and then bends and ties the pole to the back of his bike. Then, Kevin hopped on his bike and rode off. As he did, he noticed that his flag starts to go straight and flaps, much to his amazement.
"Whoa!" Kevin said, "That is so righteous!"
The other kids noticed this.
"That is so awesome Kev!" Nazz says.
"Neat!" Sarah said.
"It's so unique with that flag!" Jimmy said.
"Boy!" Jonny says to Plank while having a black eye by Sarah, "Kevin's got a cool flag with his bike, huh Plank?!"
The kids cheered at Kevin.
"I got to admit, Mac!" Kevin said as he stops to Mac, "For a twerp like you, you're not so bad!"
Kevin puts his two quarters into the jar Mac was carrying and rode off. The rest of the kids with their new items made from Madame Foster's Artie costume that they purchased walked off.
"Later dudes!" Nazz says to the Eds and Mac as she leaves with her leg warmers.
"See ya, Mac!" Jonny said, as he and Plank leave with the wig.
"Thanks for the gloves and clothing you gave us, Mac!" Sarah said as she and Jimmy left.
"I love this new clothing!" Jimmy said while following Sarah.
As Mac and the Eds were left alone, the Eds walked to Mac who was still carrying the jar full of quarters.
"Well done, Mac!" Double D said, "I must say that your idea of this ordinary costume being made into various products is ingenious!"
Mac smiles, finally earning his care and respect and rewarded from his new friends for all his kindness he has given to them. Ed pats him on the head.
"Mac is the best!" Ed said during it and giggled.
Then, Eddy burst into excitement to the jar of quarters Mac was carrying.
"You're a chip off the old block, Mac!" Eddy cheered while grabbing his jar of money, "What do we do without you! We're rich! All thanks to you Mac my boy!"
Mac smiles in response.
"So, what do we do with this money, guys?" Mac asked.
"Like we told you!" Eddy said, "We're off to the candy store!"
"Candy store?" Mac asked.
"Why yes, Mac!" Double D said.
"For jawbreakers!" Ed cheered.
I don't own anything!
