Night, in Revae's company.

Jun hugged his tablet tightly, carefully walked towards Aki's room and knocked on the gate.

"Good evening, Mister." He nodded politely and put on a shy smile.

Aki chuckled. "I told you can just call me 'Aki'."

"But, that sounds kinda disrespectful, I can't. "Jun worried.

"I don't mind it." He answered right away.

"Then...Mr Aki."

"Just say 'Aki'. Are you going to mistake my orders?"

"No...right, Aki." He spoke softly.

"Good."

"Uh..."

"You have something to report, right?" Aki reminded him with a calm smile.

"Yes..." Jun hid his nervousness with a prompt stare at the tablet. A large screen was projected in the air with virtual reality, and various statistics and charts appeared after the room turned dimmer. Aki nodded and he began.

"The growth of the company in recent months is very stable. Our revenue raised more than the expected amount. It is predicted that it will continue to increase next month."

"How about the customers?"

"Their responses are optimistic. We receive almost no negative feedback from our customers."

"Hmm, I see."

"More companies are interested in cooperation too, one of them is a huge company, the Gaen Finance Group."

Gaen Kyoya...

Ever since that meeting, I am still thinking of his ambitious actions.

What does he want from me? What does he want to find out?

Or worse, if he knows 'that incident'...

It is best to eliminate him as quickly as possible.

...There is also something that concerns me at this moment.

"Is there something wrong?" Jun inquired, breaking Aki's thoughts.

"No, I am listening. Please continue."

"About the schedule of the upcoming month. We have a few meetings with other cooperating companies..." Jun read the report on his tablet carefully.

Aki glanced outside the windows, stares became secure, remained speechless, he slowly fixed onto the streets, but promptly shifted back to Jun's presentation later.

This smell...I didn't expect him to come this early, but well.

Looks like I got a visitor.

"For future planning, we have a few measures..."

"Let's stop here for now, we will have a more detailed report in tomorrow's meeting. It is getting late." Aki hinted.

"Right." Jun bit his lips.

"You should get some rest, too." Aki said with smiling eyes. "Your kids must be waiting."

Jun chuckled embarrassingly. "Well then...I will go now." He bowed and turned off the projector. He left, gently closing the door without noise.

The whole room is now empty. The lights flickered unstably and went off, clothing everything in the dark. Aki did a long sigh, hands closed, facing to the front, eyes opened in cold violet, gazing at the darkness. It smirked, and two crimson glints stared back at him.

"So, what are you here for?" Aki asked in a more serious tone.

Jun looked back at the gates in doubt, knowing there shouldn't be anyone in there except Aki.

What?

Weren't I and Mister Yamanaka the only ones in the room?

Then...who is in there right now...?

Being suspicious of what he just heard, he approached the doors slowly in soft steps.

Unexpectedly, he heard another voice coming from the door gaps.

"Isn't that obvious?" It answered deeply.

"I told you I don't need your help, so you don't have to come around anymore." Aki frowned.

"No, I am here to question you. I want a longer talk...but first, not here."

"Someone is hearing us."

It glared. Jun gasped and held his mouth with his trembling hands behind the walls, attempting not to make any noise.

What's...what's going on...? Mr Yamanaka...?

*

As the distorted dark red portal gleamed and widened, Aki arrived at the top of the skyscraper. The chills flew into his clothes, his soft grey-white hair blew in the wind. The shadow gradually formed near him.

There is a weird feeling I got from him.

"So you bring me to my company's roof." He glanced.

"That's not the matter. Is 'that gate' finished?"

"It is almost completed."

"You know we don't have time for this. Yet, you act unworried."

As expected, he is worried about the plan. He has gained aggressiveness towards me over these few months. Dealing with him would be an issue. Aki thought.

"It will be fine. It is all going as we planned."

"No...Origin of Creation, he is regaining his strength faster than we thought. And eventually, it will be our obstacle."

"We cannot let that seed grow further, we must act now."

"It is time to return to yourself, Indren."

Aki kept his silence. He grasped the steel fences and gazed at the dazzling lights down the streets.

"You know this is a part of our plan, the last piece to fulfil. Why do you hold back?"

"Be patient, the time has not come. All of this takes time."

"Then when is it?" The dragon stared at Aki.

"We will enter that world after the portal's final testing, it cannot hold an overwhelming amount of energy without stabilization. All of our work would be wasted."

"You do not want it to be like the 'last time', right?"

"Don't treat me like a fool, Indren."

The voice echoed into Aki's ears like thunder, he gazed straight into the black dragon's eyes.

"You were the one who slowed down the progress of the portal, you were the one who delayed the plan."

"Ignoring my warnings, stubbornly following your decisions."

"Merely laughable, just like those humans."

"Just like the ones who outcasted you, whom you believed the most, your pure glorious devotion has all proved to be meaningless..."

The wind stroked, and the violet eyes turned back at Aggravius with a sharp glare. The black dragon sneered.

"Remind you of someone?"

"Mind your words, Origin of Destruction." He warned the black dragon in a rougher tone.

"Or if this is what you intended to...I will have to prove it myself."

"..."

"I wonder, the great monarch of the World of Nothingness."

"What will you choose?"

In a flash, the silent night glowed in an unnerving crimson. Over the clouds, the wrapped portal spread and covered the whole sky. With a closer look, all spaces were filled with dark lances with no gaps between, ignited in a wave of scarlet aura and aimed down at the walking passersby down the streets. They raised their heads, some wore suits with cases, some carried groceries, and some had bags on their back.

A little girl glanced at the abnormal-looking sky and pointed.

"Mum, look, look!"

"What is it, dear?"

"Why is the sky red...?"

She chuckled. "It is impossible for the sky to turn red in the evening..."

She cut her sentence when she faced her daughter. The girl stared back, seeing her mother with a terrified face.

"Mum, what's wrong?"

*

"You know what this means."

"Explain yourself." Aki turned at Aggravius with a scowl.

The beast stretched his claws in and out.

"I am tired of waiting."

"All your meaningless acts, all your narrowed thoughts."

"It feels...strange, ever since you wished to join humanity, using them to develop the portal, I already had this feeling, but now I finally understand."

"You have seen through their minds. Their behaviours and feelings. Now you act like them."

"You've changed."

"..."

"Destroying humans is not part of our plan. You know the true reason why I came to the Earth."

"Origin of Creation...it will be quick if we just use our true strength to hunt him down. Being cautious of other humans was slowing down the progress."

"It is for buying time for the portal's development. Before that, we cannot let them find us. I thought we talked about this."

"Such unnecessary...whatever it is about Origin of Creation or the Gate, no matter what decision you have made as if you don't want your plan to come true," Aggravius murmured.

"I don't see your point. If you don't disturb and follow as I said, this will all proceed smoothly. You were the one who broke our deal."

"You are contradicting yourself, Indren. You said you want to rebuild a better world. You understand if you have to achieve it, you need the power of destruction and creation. You need me, and you need him, too."

"But why would the conqueror not do it if they ever had a chance?"

"If it wasn't you at that moment...if you didn't collapse the area, he would be in our hands now. Why did you allow him to escape from my grasp? To allow yourself to fail?"

"I just don't understand, Origin of Dominance." He did a low growl.

After hearing Aggravius's words, Aki remained silent, then his lips curled upwards, calm purple eyes on Aggravius. Red eyes gazed back at him annoyingly.

"There are three things to clarify." Aki raised his fingers. "One, I never changed my mind about my goal. It was all set with solid planning."

"Two, I am always watching, observing, analyzing the situation in the surroundings, knowing when to make changes."

"Three, there are often unexpected factors in planning, obstacles to clear along my strategies."

"Enough nonsense, get straight to the point."

"You know who I am talking about."

"I am always watching, then and now, and I have my conclusion...From the start, I never trusted you in assisting my plan of capturing Origin of Creation."

"Weren't you the one who wants it all? By devouring the other Power of Origin, it makes you strong enough..."

"To confront me."

As the purple cracks appeared on the crimson portal, the spears broke into soft gleams when they collapsed. Aggravius watched red particles dissolve in the air, trembling jaws shut and grinding each other repeatedly.

"Indren, you..."

"Choose to help those weaklings...over your ally..."

Back at the top of the skyscraper. After a long rumbling and a stunning bellow. The dark shards formed instantly and reappeared, this time, fully charged.

"Enough is enough, Origin of Dominance..."

"Today will be your day of doom!"

Blood red glints gathered and transformed into a lance in Aggravius's hands, along with countless dusk fragments, flickered and darted at Aki simultaneously. Nevertheless, he remained where he was, watching the incoming attacks overwhelm him.

"It will be convenient to finish it now...but let's not be here."

His resolute eyes reopened in purple, voiced lightly.

"Realm Open."

As if all living things went muted at this instant, the purplish portal expanded and spread over the roof immediately, with everything disappearing in sight.

*

"Good evening. Welcome to Tokyo Breaking News."

[Breaking News: Red Sky Appeared Above Chō Tokyo]

"Several eyewitnesses reported a sudden emergence of the red-coloured sky at night. Multiple online videos are streaming this abnormal scenario in Japan."

In the live scene, citizens were frightened by the change.

"What is this?! What happened to the sky?!"

"The moon, the clouds...they are all dyed in red!"

"..."

"Uh, Mori, the box is screaming! Terrifying screams are coming out of it!" Xander yelled.

Morihito giggled. "Xander, I told you it is a 'television'." He placed down the meals gently and cleaned his sweat. "It should be evening news now."

"Breaking news...the night sky turned red?"

Evening, in Gaen's department.

"Master Kyoya, please take a look..."

"I am already watching, Sofia." Kyoya held the tablet with a satisfied smile.

"As the sky returned to normal after the short appearance of purplish lightning, red gleaming particles began to rain over. The police evacuated citizens in the affected area and began an investigation at the scene..."

*

"You will regret what you have done...!"

Aki smiled, eyes down to the black dragon. "More than that, should we finish our business?"

"How foolish." Aggravius grasped his claws tightly and ignited the dark lance in his palm, ready to pierce at Aki.

"Is that so?" His cold eyes glowed in calm purplish, holding the spear in a flash.

"Just wait." The spear faded into gleaming dust and slipped from Aki's palm. Aggravius hopped backwards, gazing at the reformed lance in his hands.

My reaction has become slower inside this realm.

I need to be more cautious.

His gaze turned to Aki.

"You noticed, didn't you?"

Aggravius chuckled. "How ridiculous. This does nothing to me."

"Disadvantage, indeed."

"You lured me here, now what?"

"Weren't you the one who wants to talk? This place fits better for us."

Aggravius glanced and pointed his spear at Aki.

"Let me say it straight. Your defending those humans makes me sick..."

"It was necessary. If we get exposed, the plan would fail immediately. You know this, yet can't hold your impetuousness. Aren't you the one who needs to explain your actions?"

"I will approve it if only this is temporary. But it seems now is not the case. If you truly intend to use those humans as just a part of your plan, you should not feel any emotion about them. It won't be like what I saw previously. Not only the ants that you protected on the streets."

"But the one who is serving on your side?"

"Before we met, you hinted to him to escape. Your fear and worries are all shown in your face, your intention to make him flee from my harm."

"Your plans have changed, by the time you value them. Do you think I didn't notice this whole time?!" Aggravius stressed his tone. Aki stared coldly.

He has become more aggressive than I thought. This is hindering progress.

I still need him to trust me, to fulfil part of my plan.

Before that, I need to settle his disagreement...

"If you do think of that, I have no way to convince you by now." Aki sighed. "I do wish to end this peacefully."

"Peace? By what?" He mocked.

"A game?"

Purple aura gathered in his hand, placing it on the ground, eyes closed. Then the earth below began to move intensely. Cracks formed around them, all the way to the bottom, gradually becoming enormous cliffs. The purple glints emerged and filled the gaps between them. The earthquake did not become softer, it quivered non-stop, even accelerated. Aggravius could feel the pressure coming from the ground, he thrust his spear to balance himself.

The trembling ended. They rose straight into the sky along the earth, like a floating island, with stones and gravel falling over. The land became stable, fixed in the middle of the air.

"...are we going to fight on these flying rocks?" Aggravius jeered until he saw Aki staring at him in silence. The air seemed frozen.

This uneasiness?! What tricks is he putting on me?

No, he is no longer the same...

He is now an enemy.

"You know this place better than anyone. Here, no one can see us, bringing any disruptions. Besides, I would like to hear something from you, like your past with humanity?"

"Oh..." He glanced at the red glints afar.

Abruptly, a crimson lance struck the isle like a bolt, splitting into half, leaving molten on surfaces. Aki hopped backwards beforehand and landed safely.

He snickered. "You could have killed me with that."

"Just shut the hell up." Aggravius growled with fangs shown. "I am done with you. I don't need more talks. I don't have to hear from you anymore."

He spread his wings, glaring at Aki.

"Begone, curse your foolishness before me...and disappear. Someone like you must vanish..."

"This will end this all, Indren!"

Several distorted reddish portals emerged and encircled Aki. Aggravius grinned, gathering crimson gleaming specks of dust with the lance absorbing them continuously, it emits an overwhelming aura.

"Blasters of Destruction!"

The dark dragon growled and charged the portals all at once.

Aki sighed indifferently.

Finally lose your mind?

"Chain of Void."

He flipped the card in his palms. The purplish glare revealed the fetters, warped and tethered Aggravius in an instant. First his wrists and arms, then trussing his legs onto the earth of the island, separating and forcing him to drop the lance, while the blasts from the portals were being disrupted immediately.

"I can't...move?! And these chains..."

"The effect of Chain of Void is by absorbing the target's power and strengthening itself." Aggravius watched Aki walk down the floating rock stairs.

"That means the harder you try to flee from the chains, the stronger it gets."

In addition to my realm's ability, his power is now greatly weakened.

Aggravius huffed. "You can't beat me..."

He focused the energy on his hands, attempting to break the chains, the pressure of the chains strengthened and caused him to kneel.

"Just stop resisting, it is for your good." Aki told Aggravius.

"Only if I had the power from my true body...you would have been dead by now." He gasped, trying to stand back up.

"That's only a hypothesis. You are still powerless for now." Aki spoke as Aggravius muttered behind.

"I'll destroy you once I flee from their seals. And all your followers would be in a bloodbath...!"

"Go ahead if you can." Aki spoke indifferently.

"What a foolish leader..."

As Aggravius snickered, the chains tightened and grabbed his arms entirely, completely pushing him onto the ground.

"Can't you be quiet for a moment?" Aki glared. "I am getting tired as you speak. Every second I spend with you urges me to eliminate you even more."

"Oh, so do I?" Aggravius laughed.

The chains wrapped around the black dragon's neck like vines, he coughed, barely breathing nevertheless. Despite that, he burst out laughing insanely.

"Hgh...hahaha...you know it more than anyone, what you are destroying is merely a vessel...you can never truly kill me, ever."

"Absolutely, so, I will leave you half dead."

"Half dead...?" Aggravius glanced, and then his eyes widened, losing their focus.

"What's wrong?" Aki giggled. "It's just placing and keeping you in an infinite space. Does it sound familiar to you?"

"You fool...the sealing spell - that power will drain all your life force. There is no way you can master such..."

"Huh? Do you think I am the same as decades ago? Also, why would I waste my energy on that spell?"

"What?!"

"We are here from the beginning, aren't we?" Aki smiled.

His expression left Aggravius speechless, his gazes put afar on the edges of the domain, staring ever after.

"I think my words should be clear now"

"I will never forgive you...I will never..."

"Relax, I have no intentions of keeping you here. I am just for a chat, like what you asked for."

"Then let me the hell out of here." He stressed his voice.

Aki smirked while holding his chin. Aggravius was fused as if burning alive.

"Oh, sure. By the way, you know all you need to do is to destroy the island underneath you, right?" Those words put Aggravius dumbfounded.

Aki giggled, slightly relieving the pressure on Aggravius. The dragon exhaled and sensed the fresh air near him, grabbing his talons thrillingly, and tearing the ground with bare hands. The two dropped on the earth with falling rocks at the backdrop. As Aggravius prepared to land his claws on Aki, something unpredictable was spoken.

"I know everything from you, ."

"...?" Aggravius gazed at Aki speechlessly.

"The long-forgotten name washed through anger, sorrow and grudge, sealed along with time."

"Was the destroyer himself merely a being seeking to massacre humans?"

"What were the tales before the seed of destruction was born?"

That name...who is that?

I don't remember...yet, why is my body reacting?

No, I don't need to know...I don't need to remember.

I only desire blood...destined for revenge.

I don't have to know anything, everything...

The voice called me to eradicate all.

"I, Origin of Destruction, the leader of demise dragons, will avenge those that sealed me in the darkness, bringing the end to all kinds...!"

As the thundering voice echoed, the overflowing energy masked his skin and charged through the scales. He poured a peal of manic laughter.

"What a shame..." Aki sighed deeply.

"Devouring the Origin of Creation, bringing true devastation to these ugly beings..."

"I can let you own another Power of Origin, but under one condition."

"...uh?" Aggravius' expressions stopped, then turned at Aki slowly with a sinister grin.

"Well, well, what kind of deal do we have here?"

"You will flee from my sight and control, doing anything at your will. But..."

"But what?" Aggravius cut Aki's sentence before he finished.

"You have to win against me."

Aggravius' smile fell, frowning at Aki with his eyebrows up, Aki calmed him nevertheless.

"I know it is unfair for your current state, so we will do it in another way."

He raised the gleaming card, and all the chains from the sky shrank back to the card promptly, facing Aggravius.

Aggravius snickered. "I see how it goes..."

"Do you accept it, or not?"

"...why would I not?" Aggravius laughed.

"Then this should be the deal." Aki's eyes grinned.

Meanwhile, near Revae's company. Teams of special forces and investigators gathered at the incident's area.

"Have the citizens all evacuated?"

"Evacuation process is completed, sir."

"Very well."

"Commissioner Tasuku." He turned around after the familiar voice.

"Good evening, Commander Zanya. Did you find anything about the 'Red Sky'?"

"No, however, we received a recent report of enormous energy emerging around the area. It disappeared along with the 'Red Sky'."

"It's not a coincidence. Is there any detection of illegal monsters?"

"...this is exactly what I am concerning." Zanya sighed. "There is no trace of what emitted that bizarre power."

"They have escaped, possibly. There could be clues left behind."

"Should we expand our search area?"

"No, we need more manpower for a much deeper investigation."

"I understood, I am calling for more assistants." They bowed to each other and walked away.

As Zanya left in a hurry, Tasuku looked around. Abruptly, five letters on a building widened his eyes. The voice from that man flushed into his ears.

"If you want to seek the truth, 'Revae' is the answer."

"I can't believe it is right before my eyes..." Tasuku spoke to himself softly, gazing at the sign.

In the mysterious realm, a four-legged creature jumped and stomped on Aki's chest. Its saliva dripped on his face. It clawed, and part of his clothes were torn apart. Aki held his arms and leapt backwards. Aggravius, seeing Aki's look, laughed satisfyingly.

"You should learn how weak you are in that state."

"You are attacking first? Then it should be mine now." Aki ignored his words indifferently.

"How long can you struggle with that poor look?" Aggravius sneered.

"Cast, Restored Void Fragments. I gain five life, draw two cards and three gauges." Sparking purplish particles flew around Aki.

"I patiently await your command, lord." Dyl kneeled with his left leg.

"Use everything you can, but gently."

"My pleasure." She nodded.

Dyl pulled a thin dark blade, condensed with void energy, sparkling like stars. She pierced Aggravius's right shoulder without his notice. When he realised, there were another two holes near his heart. Three cards in Aki's drop zone disappeared into purplish clouds of dust.

"I could have ended you a moment ago, if not my master having mercy on you. You should be more grateful." Dyl glanced at Aggravius and left in silence. Aggravius held his chest while his wounds healed in a few seconds.

"Let the fun begin."

Aggravius poured out a peal of manic laughter, jabbing his claws through the masked monster and appeared near Aki in a blink.

"Don't you dare to touch our lord...!" Dyl shouted and pointed her sword at Aggravius. Aggravius stretched his right talon on Dyl's neck without a thought.

"Don't worry, I will make sure you come with your master." He gazed into Dyl's eyes with a dreadful sneer.

"Lord Indren, please spare me..." Dyl barely poured out a word.

Aggravius laughed, watching her fade into soft gleams in his hand with a painful scream. "Your follower is cute..."

"...as Gate Forger is being destroyed, I draw a card, get two gauges and 3 life." Aki said indifferently.

"You don't think so?" Aggravius snickered, then noticed Aki didn't respond.

"Oh, you do care." He sneered. "Do you want to make the scream as he did?"

Aki glared, menacingly but calmly, enough to make everyone lose their breath. "Maybe that would be you."

"...disappointing." Aggravius crunched his teeth, pierced Aki and knocked him afar with his tail.

"Tear everything you see, demise dragons!" The beasts bellowed, and widened their jaws, ready to shatter Aki's body in pieces who was still pushing himself up.

"Cast, Disturbance of Space, I put Grim Dragon into the drop zone."

A portal appeared in a gleam and devoured Grim Dragon, it closed right after.

Aggravius smirked. "That won't save you much, Indren."

The burning skull dragon stabbed its talons at Aki's back when he wasn't noticed, leaving a line of scars on his body while cracking the ground, his clothes were shattered, and blood droplets fell on the floor continuously. He exhaled softly and kneeled along with his body.

Aki's field

"You are much weaker than the last time I saw you. In such ugly form, you won't be able to use your full power. Just like how an eagle can't spread their wings between narrowed, cramped cliffs."

Aggravius approached Aki, watching him from above with his cold crimson gaze. Aki, who was coughing in pain with his trembling body, saw the black dragon turning back at him and then collapsed.

"Mistakes yet another mistake. You miscalculated, overexpectation of your abilities...trapping me in your realm, without realizing you will be dead inside."

Soon after in the mist, a figure slowly stood up. The sounds of cards charging and drawing could be heard from afar, echoing within the space. Aggravius smiled and seemed filled with excitement.

"It seems I gave you too many chances, that you have forgotten your place." The chilling voice spoke with soft gleaming violet eyes, his body quivering left and right, barely standing with his legs.

"You are alive..." Aggravius snickered and turned around.

"At the beginning of my turn, I can put the bottom card of either player's deck into their "Void", and I get one gauge." Aki's voice was as soft as a whisper.

Domain of Void

- [Set] (This card remains on the field)

"Lord, it is my honour to fight alongside you." Cosmo spoke calmly until he saw Aki after the mist dissolved.

"Master, you are injured...! You need to heal!" Cosmo almost screamed in terror, goggles removed.

"Don't worry about me, focus on the fight." Aki held the wounds on his chest and wiped off the blood dripped at the corner of his mouth.

Cosmo munched his jaw with clenched fists, turning at Aggravius in rage. "I won't forgive what you did to him..."

"More foolish followers?" Aggravius snickered. "You can't even protect yourself in that state. Purely vulnerable, just like them..."

"Aggravius." Aki spoke softly. "I think you are correct, but partly."

"What are you trying to imply? Begging me to go easy on you? To show sympathy?"

"No, but to return the favour..."

"For giving me the chance to spread my wings again."

The figure gazed at the black dragon with his gleaming eyes. The tremendous intimidation began to fill the realm intensely. The skull dragon fluttered intensely, seeming to fear something caught in his eyes.

"Commissioner Tasuku, more investigators have arrived." Zanya reported.

"Good." Tasuku picked up his phone, and walked into the building of Revae, where Jack was on his side.

"Do you have any plan on where to begin searching?"

"My team is starting from the hub of the incident. Perhaps your team can start from the sides, that will be more efficient."

"Understood."

"..."

"You cast him away, why?" Jack questioned Tasuku.

"...I don't want anyone to be involved with this. This is my issue."

Jack sighed but understood Tasuku anyway.

"Let's go inside."

Tasuku and Jack stepped into Revae. Tasuku raised his attention and alerted everything around him. Abruptly, he heard something moving between the leaves of the lobby's plant.

"Freeze! Buddy police! Who is there?! Show yourself!"

He is trying not to make a noise, but the breath reveals where he is.

"Come out, I already know you are hiding there."

"AHH! I don't mean to hurt anyone...!" He shouted, The tablet dropped to the ground and then realized the person's uniform. "Huh?!"

"I am sorry to scare you, are you okay?" Tasuku picked up the tablet and handed it over to Jun.

"You're...' City's hero', Commissioner Tasuku?!"

"Yes. This is buddy, Jackknife."

"I can't believe it..."

"Mister, why didn't you leave with the others? It can be dangerous to stay in here for now."

"That is because..." Jun looked aside and frowned. "Mister Yamanaka, he has been missing ever since the last conversation."

"The conversation, may I ask when was it?" Tasuku continued.

"It was a little earlier before the incident. I have been searching for him, all over the building, but I just can't find him anywhere." Jun concerned.

"I see."

Such a coincidence of time...

"Commissioner, I beg you, please!" He kneeled with his head on the ground.

"Sir, what are you doing?! Please get up!" Tasuku was shocked at Jun's actions.

"Please save Mister Yamanaka, he is such a good, kind leader. Despite my status, this is mythical and unexplainable, yet such treatment...is something that I don't deserve. I am in debt to his kindness." Jun kept his body on the ground, tears splashed all over his face.

"Please calm down, I am sure he is fine there, I promise, and I am sure he wants you to be safe too. Jackknife and I will go find him, so don't worry. You can leave this building safely with my team."

"Thank you..."

Tasuku pulled Jun up. "We will search for him, please stay in touch." Jun nodded.

"Jack, let's go. We have no time to lose."

"Roger."

Tasuku turned on his high-technology goggles, wandering deeper into the structure with Jack, searching corners and rooms, and eventually arriving at the corridor of Revae's history.

"Tasuku, this place is familiar but quite unrecognizable. Have we visited this place before?"

"We have, Jack. It was around 5 years ago."

"Have we...?!"

"At that time, Revae's company was still growing, and that was when they began cooperating with Japan's largest laboratory scientists. It was a non-public experiment. No one was able to see their research, or noticed, even by Buddy Police."

Tasuku frowned. "Until that happened."

"The explosion incident in the Buddyfight Laboratory..." Jack added.

"Exactly. Two elite scientists have been reported to be missing, because of the accident."

"I think I understand now." Jack looked aside.

"Revae hid the truth from the public, controlled the mass and declared there were no injuries in the accident. We have tried to contact and communicate with the owner of Revae, even investigating his company for years, only to find him not responsible or guilty for the incident."

"Because he is a customer, not a researcher."

"However, that doesn't mean he is completely unrelated. In these years, I have been keeping an eye on this Revae, but only small progress was made." Tasuku looked down with a dark face.

Jack smiled and patted Tasuku's shoulders. "At least it was a good stepping stone."

"Thanks, Jack."

"About that, have you met the owner of Revae before?"

"Yes. He is also the Chief Executive Officer in the company. White hair, violet eyes, with a chill and calm personality. Even during my visit, he seemed to be unmoved and welcomed me for a tour, explaining his beliefs of creating a peaceful world between monsters and humans."

"A kind person, could he be?"

"Perhaps it is just his persona. We do not know what projects he ordered the experimenter to research, how that led to the accident and..."

"Missing of Morihito's parents." Jack guessed.

"I could have done better four years ago. He and his parents won't be like this..." Tasuku clenched his fists. "I could have prevented this tragedy."

"Tasuku..." Jack flew near him.

He sighed. "Morihito, the last thing before he lost his memories, was the fight with a dragon-type monster, said to appear out of a mysterious portal, intended to take his power with him."

"Is it Aggravius?"

"Could be, but less likely. I asked Light to find the recorded clips from the street cameras, the appearance and battle were all captured in the video. But nothing has matched their behaviours."

They are nothing alike.

Just like they are completely different kinds.

More like another person.

"What do you mean? Isn't Aggravius our target of the incident?"

"No Jack, I think this would be much more complicated than we thought."

They froze in the middle of the corridors, and completely stopped walking forward.

"...Tasuku?" Jack noticed and looked back.

"I think I understand where to start looking now."

The scenes of Revae's owner's manner of chatting, tasting coffee and ordering his subordinates flashed before Tasuku's mind.

The way he treats his followers.

The tone of his speaking.

Expressions and words.

His actions and moves.

What's more eerie is, I don't think I am hallucinating.

Of how they are ridiculously similar.

*

"I am Yamanaka Aki...the owner of Revae." He whispered through the air, barely standing with his shivering legs, head pointing straight at the ground.

The black-purple gleams emitted under him. Slowly thickened and expanded, spreading and accumulating all over, his body was consumed by the violet light.

"I am the one who manipulates, and rules over the deep void."

Shortly, the energy expanded exponentially. The gates of the void were wide open in the sky, combining with each other, outspreading and swallowing the whole realm at an unexplainable speed.

The skull dragon yelled, stepping back in panic, while Aggravius sneered, excited and astonished by the changes.

A colossus presence passed through the enormous purplish gateway, a humongous being with dark grey scales flew out of the portal, floating in the middle of the area. The top of his chest, shoulders, wrists and knee were filled with overflowing void powers, which seemed combined with the domain itself. His dominating violet gazes watched over the field, feeling the air and sensing the presence of the void.

Seeing such a scene, the followers bowed and kneeled in respect, awaiting the arrival of their true sovereign. A deeper voice echoed and declared throughout the whole world.

"I am Indren, Origin of Dominance, The Monarch of the World of Nothingness."

"I will be the one who changes this world, bringing a new era to humanity and monsters."

Aggravius laughed in pleasure, louder and louder, watching the tremendous dark grey dragon descending, landing his claws onto the field. The stage tumbled endlessly, the dust and dirt went directly into Aggravius' field, overwhelming the whole realm with his pressure.

"That's what I am calling interesting." The black dragon widened his eyes.
