It was hard for me to adjust my new life now. Not only i had to leave my home but my mom as well. But im going to live with dad and the twins in a town that i never heard of. I sighed looking how empty the town looked and spotted the school im attending drove to a four bedroom house block from an old abandoned house. Dad got out of the mustang and opened the trunk while Brooke and Austin got out looking at the new house. "Connie, come on lets ride our bikes around the block." said Brooke jumping up and down. "First we need to unpack our stuff and maybe get a milkshake." i told her. "Ok. Tyler! I call top bunk." said Brooke running inside the house. I rolled my eyes smiling at their sense of fun. I went to grab my box and bags from the trunk as a boy showed up in front of me. He was wearing a rain coat and had his arm bitten out like a wild animal would. "Who are you?" i asked looking around. "Georgie and ITknowsyou."said the boy. "Who's 'it'?" i said as another boy came riding his bike down the street. "You'll know soon enough." said Georgie then vanished. "Georgie, come back." i called as the boy stopped in front of my house. "Hey." said the boy looking at me. "Hi, I'm Constance or Connie Vega." i said. "Billie. D-did you say Geo- georgie?" he asked. "Connie, you coming in?" said Dad walking out of the house. "Be there in a minute. Im talking with my friend Billie." i told him. "I actually have go its almost curfew." said Billie nod them a good bye. "What curfew?" i asked looking at dad. Dad sighed helped carry my stuff inside and to my new room which happens to be the attic. "Brooke, Tyler. I need to talk to all of you in the living room." Dad called upstairs.
The twins came down and sat on the coach next to me while dad sat on the coffee table. "Ok i know moving here is a huge for all of us but there are two important rules in Derry. If theres anybody in trouble leave them and act like nothing happened and whatever you do. Never go out in the streets after seven." dad told us. "But why seven at night?" said Tyler. "Theres been reports of children disappearing at that time and i just dont want to lose you." said dad. "Got it." We said. "Alright let me make dinner." said Dad going to the kitchen. I headed up to my room to unpack and heard the twins following me. "Dad took the stash by accident and i dont know where he put it." i said looking at them from half way up the stairs. "Dang it. I wanted to get my jawbreaker but anyways who were you talking to." said Brooke. "Billie. He was riding his bike over here." i told her. "No, before that. You said Georgie and we looked to see no one there." said Tyler. "I cant tell you yet unless its serious." i said as a noise was heard in my room. "What the . . ." i mumbled going up and turned the light on. Nothing was there but boxes and the bed that needs covering. Looked around the attic and heard it again in the closet at the corner. "What are y-" i shushed Tyleras i slowly grabbed my bat from the box and walked towards the closet. Turning the knob and yanked it open to find a red balloon in front of me. "Guys is this another prank." i said looking inside finding wire hangers on the rack. "We were in our room the whole time and only you have the key to the attic." said Brooke. "Alright. You can go. Im gonna shower before dinners ready." i told them. Tylerand Brooke nodded and closed the door. I grabbed some clothes from the drawer and went into my bathroom.
Constance stripped off her clothes and looked at her reflection. Herheart shape face showing off herlight peach skin and hazel brown eye contacts. She sighed and opened her eye lid to take it off revealing her dark red irises. Stepping inside the tub she closed the curtain and began her routine while singing as she finished washingher honey brown hair. Just before she can get out a loud scream was heard from the twins room. Constance got out and wrapped a bathrobearound her body then rushed to their room seeing Brooke cowering in thecorner with Tylerholding a bat facing the closet. "What happened?" said Luna stopping in front of Brooke. "Hes in there." said Brooke. "You two in the living room." said Constance as they left. "Georgie? Is that you?" she says looking at the closet. The door slowly opened itself as a gloved hand wrapped around the edge and a pair of glowing yellow eyes peeked through the dark. "Georgie's not here justPennywise the dancing clown." said raspy high voice. I stepped back a little as the figure gotout of the closet standing up at his very tall posture. "Dont be scared. I just to play with you." he says in a grin. "Whatever you are leave my family out." said Constance walking out of the room. But Pennywise closed the door shut preventing her from leaving. Constance turned around only to have her throat grabbed roughly. "Your fear is different. Almost . . . intoxicating . . . And those eyes." said Pennywise getting too close to her face."Kids dinners ready." said Contance's Dad from downstairs. Pennywise left before purposely scratching her wrist with his nails and gave her a very huge grin showing his sharp teeth vanishing into ashes blowing out the slightly open window. Constance looked around the room to make sure he was gone andwent toher bathroom shutting the water off then grabbed a towel on her way out. After putting on her comfortable clothes Constance dried her hair and looked up seeing that the red balloon is shrugged it off thinking the twins must've taken it or something. Luna got downstairs seeing everyone at the kitchen island counter with a plate of lasagna and a side salad. "Everything ok? I heard Brooke screaming." Dad said. "It was a rat but I got it." Luna said.
"Alright. Now I have to work early so you need to make sure they get on the bus before you go." Said Dad then the phone rang. He got up and picked it up. "James speaking. Yes . . . I got it taken care of. Thank you, bye." Said James hanging up. "Who was that?" Said Tyler. "My boss that's all." Said James as they ate their food. "What did they need?" said Constance looking at him. "Im going to start work early so you need to drop these two off at the bus stop and pick them up depending on my shift." said James. "No problem. I'll make sure they get there safely." said Constance feeling a familiar presence beside her. The rest of the night everyone went of to bed while Constance looked at the scratch Pennywise gave her bled so she grabbed the first aide so wrap it tight enough to stop it from bleeding more. She shut off the light before going to bed only to turn back on again after taking three steps away. "Who's there?" She asked turning around. No one was behind her finding the lights already off and became quiet. "He's not to be messed with Constance." Said a woman's voice. Constance looked around finding a nice old lady wearing a hospital gown standing by the staircase. "What does it want?" Said Constance. "I don't know but living here can change a person quickly. Trust me I know. Just make sure no one goes into that house." Said the woman pointing to the old house outside Constance's window. "What about that boy Billie? He knew Georgie and i want help him." said Constance looking at the woman now standing in front of her. "They all do just be careful." said the woman vanishing before her eyes. "I will grandma."
