Facing Pryce
The scene begins with the group at the Pokémon center getting their Pokémon healed as Rita writes in her novel.
"Man, how many more team rocket members are there?" Lynn asked."
"Hopefully, Lance rounds up the rest," Lori replied."
"Well in the meantime, lets head to the gym," Lincoln said."
They reach the gym, but it's still closed.
"Aw come on!" Carl said." It's still close."
"Wait, there's a note," Adelaide said." It says trainers who treat their Pokémon with kindness and no discipline isn't welcome."
"What?! what's wrong with caring for your Pokémon?" Sid asked."
Suddenly, an elder woman walks up to the group.
"it's because of what happened years ago," She said."
"What do you mean?" Lincoln said." And who are you?"
"My name is Sheila, I'm an old friend of the gym leader Pryce," Sheila replied."
"Nice to meet you," Luke said."
"Pryce wasn't always like this, he and his partner Piloswine were an unstable team since it was a swinub. then one day on mount silver during a blizzard, Pryce got hurt while training and was resting in his cabin bandaged up, then his Piloswine left and never came back making Pryce believe his partner abandoned him. ever since then, Pryce's heart turned cold even towards his pokemon."
"That's so sad," Frida said crying."
"I don't think his partner really abandoned him," Lincoln said." Maybe we can reason with him."
"You're free to try, he's training in that cave," Shiela said."
"You mean that cave we passed on our way here?" Clyde asked."
"Yup," Shiela replied."
They head to the cave and meet an elderly man busy training his Pokémon.
"Excuse us, are you Pryce?" Rita asked."
"Who wants to know?" Pryce asked."
"Us sir, I'm Lincoln and we're here to challenge you to a gym," Lincoln replied."
Pryce turns and looks at the group.
"Forget it, you show affection to your Pokémon instead of discipline so forget it!" Pryce said."
'Somehow him and Mr. Grouse,' Lincoln thought.'
"And what's wrong with loving your Pokémon?" Sid asked."
"Yeah, Sheila told us what happened to you," Carlota said."
"She's such a big mouth," Pryce said." Well, comeback when you truly teach your Pokémon true discipline. now leave!"
"Hey, you don't even know if your partner really abandoned you," Lincoln said."
Pryce turns to Lincoln and grabs him.
"Listen here, kids like you wouldn't understand what it means to be a trainer," Pryce said." this is grown up life."
The two growl at each other until suddenly the floor around them starts cracking.
"Uh guys," Bobby said."
"What is it, Bobby?" Lincoln asked."
The floor breaks and everyone falls in. Ronnie Anne called out Corviknight and Lincoln calls out Otto and saves everyone from falling.
"That was close," Lynn sr. said."
"I appreciate the save but that doesn't change anything," Pryce said."
"Yeesh, and I thought Lori, Lynn, and Lola were stubborn," Carl said making the three-give him deadpan looks at him."
Lincoln sees something.
"He look!" He said."
They see a Momoswine with some herbs frozen in ice.
"Whoa, a mammoth Pokémon!" Lana said."
"It's a Mamoswine, the final evolved form of Piloswine," Pryce said."
"Hey look, its holding grass," CJ said."
"Those are herbs, they help heal injuries," Carlos said." Didn't think they would be here."
Pryce looks at the Mamoswine.
"I think I know this Pokémon," He said."
"Let's free it," Lincoln said." Wixen, Katress come out."
He sends out Wixen and Katress.
"Ok you two, melt the ice," Lincoln said."
The two used flamethrower and melted the ice and freed Mamoswine.
"Nice work you two you rest," Lincoln said making Wixen and Katress kissed his cheeks before getting recalled into their pokeballs."
Mamoswine moves getting up, it sees Pryce and easily preconizes him and rubs his head on Pryce.
"You remember me," Pryce said."
"I think your Piloswine went to find herbs to heal you during the blizzard, but it fell down some hole and got frozen as it evolved," Lincoln said."
"Is that true?" Pryce asked his Mamoswine."
Mamoswine nodded showing the herbs to Pryce.
(Tearing up) "All this time, I thought you abandoned me and never looked for you and closed my heart. I'm so sorry my friend," Pryce said hugging Mamoswine."
Mamoswine closes its eyes also tearing up, everyone smiled at this touching reunion with Frida crying ice cubes.
"Such a touching reunion!" She cried."
"Thank you for reuniting us, we'll have our battle," Pryce said."
Ronnie Anne sees something.
"Hey look! a lopunnite!" She said."
"It's perfect for your Lopunny," Bobby said." But look there."
They see more frozen Pokémon kind of resembling characters from Sonic that were frozen along with Mamoswine. they wake up and see the group.
"Wow, they look like Sonic and the others," Lincoln said as he pulls out dexter."
"Soniquik, the speed Pokémon, an electric and normal type. Soniquik have a need for speed, never stopping for even a minute. this constant speed causes them to generate massive amounts of electricity and releases it by just touching their opponents. in battle, they'll zoom around their oppoent at high speeds trying to confuse them, and end by pelting them in a flurry of blows," Dexter said." its ability is speed boost."
"Gotta go fast!" Soniquik said."
He starts running around until he stops.
"What year is it, is the rock president, how long was I frozen?!" Soniquik asked."
Everyone looked confused on the question.
"Uh, we'll answer that later," Lincoln replied as he points dexter to the others."
"Knuchidna, the disaster Pokémon, a fire and fighting type. With their overwhelming strength, Knuchidna are able to overpower their opponents with sheer force. they are more brawn than brains as they perfer to solve problems with raw might rather than smarts. because of this, Knuchidna have a hard time connecting with people and Pokémon," Dexter said." its ability is sheer force."
"No meer ice will keep a warrior down," Knuchidna said."
"Vultwin, the twin-tailed Pokémon, a normal type. Vultwin seek to reach high speeds in the sky, and strive to be as fast as the pokemon, Soniquik. they try to run as fast as they can, but most times end up tripping and falling on their faces. they seek out mentors that are speedy so they can speed off someday," Dexter said." its ability is cute charm."
"Edgehog, the shadow Pokémon, a psychic and dark type. this Pokémon has the ability to travel at light speed seeming like it can teleport from place to place in the blink of an eye," Dexter said." its ability is dark aura."
"How did you guys get here?" Lincoln asked."
"We were escaping Logan's lair. I was able to teleport us away, but we weren't sure where we ended up, next thing we know we were frozen," Edgehog replied."
"Logan, as in Logan loud?" Lori asked." You escaped from his Lair?"
"And where is it?" Lynn asked."
"Yes, as for his lair, its somewhere in Sinnoh," Vultwin replied." We didn't have time to see."
"Then come with us, you'll be fine with us," Lincoln said."
"Sounds way past cool," Soniquik said."
"Definitely like Sonic," Lincoln said."
"Who?" Soniquik asked."
"We'll explain later," Lincoln replied."
He catches Soniquik, Brandon catches Edgehog, Bobby catches Knuchidna, and Clyde catches Vultwin.
"Brand new partners to the team," Lincoln said."
"Yup, and me and Vultwin are the sidekicks to the main character," Clyde said as he and Lincoln fist bump."
Corviknight and Otto flew everyone out of the hole and got recalled. they soon left the cave and head back to the city.
"Get your team ready," Pryce said."
They nod and get their team ready. later after putting on winter clothes and warming up the new Pokémon after being free from the ice, they headed to the gym where Pryce was waiting along with Shiela.
"Hey Sheila," Rosa said."
"Hey there, Pryce told me what happened, and I wanted to thank you," Shiela said."
"It was my son Lincoln helped him," Rita said."
"So, which one of us should go first?" Lincoln asked."
"I'll face you both," Pryce replied."
"Really?" Lincoln asked."
"Of course, it'll be a good experience for you," Pryce replied."
"Well, we did face Sabrina together," Ronnie Anne said."
At the Loud house,
Everyone gathers to see the gym battle.
"Wow, is that guy Mr. Crabs?" Rusty asked."
"Nah, it's more like the theme of the gym," Stella replied."
"Good thing they're wearing winter clothes," Myrtle said."
"I agree," Gale said."
Back at the gym,
"Weavile, Bergmite come out!" Pryce said."
He sends out the evolved version of Sneasel and a little ice creature.
"Azurril, go!" Lincoln said."
"Corsola go!" Ronnie Anne said."
They send out their Pokémon. Lincoln has another vision after seeing Bergmite with it evolving into its Hisui form.
From the stands the new Pokémon watch.
"Let's see how good they are," Edgehog said."
"Just watch and learn Shadow," Brandon said."
"But why not use fire types?" Lola asked."
"Because it'll be too obvious and it can't hurt to try new things," Lisa replied."
"That's true," Carlos said."
"So, that's what my Sneasel evolves into," Ronnie Anne said."
Back at the loud house,
"Lincoln's Pokémon is totes cute," Jackie said."
"Yeah, Mollie said."
"But that living ice Pokémon is really something to study," David said."
"But why not use fire types?" Liam asked."
Back at the gym,
"Icy wind!" Pryce said."
Bergmite uses icy wind engulfing the stadium.
"It's like a blizzard," Carlota said."
"And it's ruining my hair!" Lola said."
"Icicle crash!" Pryce said."
Weavile uses icicle crash causing damage to the Pokémon.
"Play rough!" Lincoln said."
Azurril uses play rough on Bergmite.
"Corsola, use recover and power gem!" Ronnie Anne said."
Corsola uses recover then uses power gem on the two Pokémon.
Back at the loud house,
"Dang, that move makes it look like a blizzard," Chaz said."
"I'll say," Albert said."
Back at the gym,
"Ice punch! and Gyro Ball!" Pryce said."
Bergmire uses gyro ball and rolls towards azurill. Weavile uses ice punch on Corsola.
"Dodge it with bounce!" Lincoln said."
Azurill uses bounce to dodge the attack.
"Now use body slam!" Lincoln said."
Azurill uses body slam on Bergmite defeating it. Azurill starts to evolve turning into Marill.
"Alright, Azurill won and evolved." Luan said."
"Corsola use protect!" Ronnie Anne said."
Corsola uses protect to save herself.
"Now use mimic," Ronnie Anne said."
Corsola uses mimic and uses ice punch on Weavile.
"Now, pin missile!" Ronnie Anne said."
Corsola fires pin missile at Weavile defeating it.
"Yeah, awesome Prima!" Carl said."
Back at the loud house,
"I'm glad the little bouncer evolved," Dana said."
"And still look cute," Becky said."
Back at the gym,
"Dewgong and Glaceon go!" Pryce said."
He sends out his Pokémon.
"Pikachu go!" Lincoln said."
"You too Eevee," Ronnie Anne said."
Pikachu and Eevee jumped off their trainers' soldiers and entered the battlefield.
"Alright, they're using their starters," Luna said."
Glaceon use ice fang!" Pryce said." Dewgong, aurora beam!"
Glaceon uses ice fang on Eevee.
"Dodge and use flame wheel!" Ronnie Anne.
Eevee dodges and ended up under Glaceon. She then glows red and uses flame wheel and causes damage to defeat it.
"Pikachu, dodge and use electro ball! Lincoln said."
Pikachu fires electro ball.
"Protect!" Pryce said."
Dewgong uses protect.
"Nice try," Pryce said."
"Yup, now!" Lincoln said."
Eevee glows yellow and uses volt tackle on Dewgong knocking it out.
Back at the loud house,
"Great strategy," Roger said."
"I agree, Francisco said."
Back at the gym,
"Time for the final, Aurorus, Mamoswine go!" Pryce said."
"Scizor go!" Lincoln said."
"Lopunny go!" Ronnie Anne said."
They send out their Pokémon.
"He's got his own?" Leni asked."
"Looks like it," Luke replied."
Back at the loud house,
"Wow, he's got his own fossil Pokémon," Skippy said."
"Still pretty," Darcy said."
Back at the gym,
"Hidden power and ice beam!" Pryce said."
Mamoswine uses hidden power and Aurorus shoots ice beam. the attacks hit causing lots of damage.
"Double kick!" Ronnie Anne said."
"Pin missile!" Lincoln said."
Scizor shoots pin missile at Mamoswine and Lopunny uses mega kick.
"Protect!" Pryce said."
His Pokémon use protect.
"Dang that move is both useful and annoying," Lana said."
"I agree," Lulu said."
Back at the loud house,
"They got to get pass that defense," Skippy said."
"But how?" Winston asked."
"They'll find a way," Albert replied."
Back at the gym,
"Ronnie Anne, let do it," Lincoln said showing his key stone."
"Yeah," Ronnie Anne said."
They activate their key stones allowing their Pokémon's mega stones to light up, they turned into their mega forms. everyone looked amazed at their forms.
"OMG, Lopunny's mega form is totes cute," Leni said."
"Si," Carlota said."
"Yeah," Adelaide said."
"Scizor looks awesome," Lynn said."
"Way cool," CJ said."
Back at the loud house,
"Lopunny looks like a model," Fiona said."
"And Scizor looks strong with those claws," Skippy said."
"But will it be enough?" Stella asked."
"One way to find out," Girl Jordan replied."
Back at the gym,
"Ice beam!" Pryce said."
Aurorus fires ice beam.
"Dodge and use blaze kick!" Ronnie Anne said."
Lopunny dodges the ice beam, she got close and uses blaze kick on Aurorus. the attack was strong enough to defeat it.
"Great work Ronnie Anne said." Arturo said."
"Quick attack and bullet punch!" Lincoln said."
Scizor uses quick attack to circle around Mamoswine and uses bullet punch. the attack hurts Mamoswine enough to make it fall on its knees, Scizor was about to finish the battle until.
"That's enough!" Pryce said."
Scizor stops.
"This battle is over," Pryce said."
"Wait what?!" Lynn asked." Why?"
"I understand, you don't want your partner hurt anymore," Lincoln replied."
"Yup," Pryce said as Scizor and Lopunny changed back." As proof of your victories, I present you two your badges."
Pryce give Lincoln and Ronnie Anne their badges.
"Well, that's one way to win," Bobby said."
"That's true," Carlos said."
Back at the loud house,
"That's very sweet of him to care about his Pokémon," Myrtle said."
"At least they still won," Rusty said."
"Yup," Liam said."
Back in Mahogony town.
The group leaves the gym and heads to the Pokémon center.
"I'm glad you two won," Rita said writing her novel."
"I'm mostly glad to be out of the gym, it was cold in there," Lola said." I hope the other gyms aren't like that."

"Mr. Loud, Ms. Santiago, your Pokémon are ready," Joy said."
"Thanks nurse Joy," Lincoln said."
Suddenly, the radios start playing getting everyone's attention.
"What's going on, is there a contest happening?" Sid asked."
"This is team rocket, we have returned to rule once again. And to Giovanni, if you're listening to this, we need you back to lead us again and have our revenge on the world," a rocket grunt said."
"They've taken over the radio tower bogus!" Luna said."
At the radio tower,
The rockets have taken over the radio tower. with Proton talking with someone.
"You're sure Giovanni will return after this?" Proton asked."
"Of course," the voice replied."
The person revealed to be a teal hair guy wearing an explorers outfit.
"It better Spinel," butch said."
(Flirting) "Don't mind them, they're just jealous of your brilliant plan. you know what you're doing," Cassidy said holding Spinel's arm."
(Holds her chin making her blush) "Of course and you'll have your revenge of the boy," Spinel said."
Cassidy giggles as she looks away.
