Chapter 843
Get A Room
Cameron and Savannah were in a Cessna. They followed the railroad tracks towards Las Vegas.
Savannah was the pilot. She was distracted somewhat from her flying because Cameron was naked in the seat next to her. Her clothes were thoroughly trashed from riding underneath the train, and lying on top of the moving couplers between the cars to connect the air lines. There was a fresh set of clothes for her in the rear seat of the Cessna.
Cameron finally reached back and retrieved them. There was some close physical contact between them during the process. At one point her bare breasts brushed against Savannah's face. It wasn't an 'accident', even if it was portrayed as one. A message was clearly sent through the 'mishap'. She sat up a little bit in her seat.
"I can see Las Vegas in the distance." Cameron said.
Savannah couldn't quite make it out yet. She thought she spotted one unique feature. There was something sticking up. She wanted to be sure before she said anything.
They flew on for a little longer.
"I can see it now. I can see there's one really tall building which stands out above the others." Savannah said. "I see what looks like some other tall buildings anyway."
Cameron spotted something on the railroad tracks in the distance.
"There's a train coming out of Las Vegas headed towards us." Cameron said.
Savannah felt a little sorry for the train crew they stopped multiple times.
"I hope it has to take the siding and not the train we delayed." Savannah said. "Then again, it will give us more time to get into position, or do some other things first."
Cameron wasn't sure what John Henry's server would do since it was in control of the CTC and dispatching system. She did like the prospect of 'other things first'. She could think of a few 'other things'.
"We'll see." Cameron said.
Savannah looked over at Cameron. She was still naked. She retrieved some clean clothes from the back, but still hadn't put them on yet.
"You need to get ready. It will cause a distraction if you walk into a casino the way you are." Savannah said.
Cameron glanced down at her exposed form. She moved her legs slightly.
"Would you like to play a slot machine?" Cameron asked.
Savannah glanced over as Cameron shifted her legs some. There was a clear view of a 'slot' in a machine. She moistened her lips slightly before she spoke.
"Yes." Savannah said. "I think I can hit the jackpot."
Cameron glanced over at Savannah.
"I think a lot of 'bell ringing' occurs from inside the machine." Cameron said. "I mean when someone hits the jackpot when they play one."
Savannah glanced over at Cameron and held her gaze.
"I've played a few, and the 'bell' definitely rings." Savannah said. "It's always a win for the player."
Cameron smiled at Savannah. She received some new information from CamNet.
"CamNet will give us priority landing status." Cameron said. "Maybe I do need to get dressed."
Cameron very slowly started to put some clothes on. What she preferred was to remain naked. It always seemed to cause such a distraction with everyone whenever she was naked. She really didn't know what the big deal was in reality. There was nothing but a bunch of psychological issues inside of people's heads. It was their hang up, not hers.
Savannah experienced a little trouble concentrating. Everything Cameron did and said aroused her. She needed to concentrate on her flying a little more since they were near an urban area. Up until this point, CamNet took care of all of the radio traffic for her.
"I need to contact the tower." Savannah said. "I know CamNet has done everything else for me, as me, to get us into the pattern."
Cameron slowly pulled her pants up.
"Do you want to do a 'once around'?" Cameron asked.
They both knew it was a 'loaded question' with a double meaning.
Savannah looked at Cameron and swallowed hard.
"Yes." Savannah said.
Cameron felt it would give them an opportunity to do some recon of what would be their target area later on.
"We can see all the casinos and overfly the rail yard." Cameron said. "It will give us 'up to date' information I can compare against past satellite images. I should be able to spot any significant changes or variations of the surrounding area. It will also give us an idea what to look for when the train actually does arrive."
Savannah thought Cameron meant something else earlier….
"Oh." Savannah said. "It's a good idea so we know where we stand."
Cameron winked at Savannah after her response.
Savannah swallowed hard and smiled back at Cameron. She managed to give Cameron a wink herself.
Savannah flew past the 'Strip' and over the rail yard, past the 'Downtown Casinos', and around the big tower which jutted up into the sky. To her, Las Vegas appeared to be like any other city except for the big casinos and hotels concentrated in a few specific locations. She really wondered how many people's lives were ruined in the city below. It didn't even include the quickie divorces which were often granted in the state. It was a side effect of the overly simple marriages which the state allowed as well.
She really wondered how people could go there and waste money they didn't even have for other things in their lives. They were usually things they needed in daily life. The money could have bought things for their family, specifically their children. She really wondered where some people's priorities were. She sadly reflected they never really understood what they already possessed, until it was gone. Once it was gone, it was very hard to ever get back.
She didn't have any desire to gamble. She thought of the storerooms piled high with stacks of cash at the Resistance base and Cameron's base. Even though there were literally millions of dollars available she could spend, it didn't matter. It was the idea of gambling switch disgusted her. People thought they could all hit the 'big one' and get rich quick.
As she overflew the casinos, she wondered if anyone ever thought how all of the glitz and glamour was paid for. It wasn't paid for by a rich owner or conglomerate. It was paid for by all the fools who thought they would leave the city rich. They all left broke. The sad part was, they would all willingly come back and do it again, and still think they were going to hit the 'big one'.
She really thought it would be a lot simpler if they would just play some fake gambling games on their computer or phone which didn't involve real money. They should all start out with something called 'Common Sense Credits' and see how much 'Common Sense' they were left with at the end of their session. She still didn't think they would get it.
There were a lot of morons out there who believed they could get something for nothing. It wasn't how anything worked in life. There was always some type of price attached to everything, even if it was emotional or psychological. It could even take decades for the toll to need to be paid. At some point the bill would come due.
Savannah started her turn to starboard when she spotted something else. She already saw it in the distances they approached.
"I see the Air Force Base." Savannah said.
Cameron spotted the location previously. It brought back some memories for her.
"It's Nellis Air Force Base." Cameron said. "I've been there before."
Savannah was about to ask Cameron what for and when. She was pretty sure there were nuclear weapons kept at the base. It wouldn't surprise her if a few of them turned up 'missing'. Actually she doubted anything would turn up as 'missing'. The records would be changed to indicate it was never there in the first place. It seemed like a more likely scenario. She figured it was probably better to have CamNet in the system so if any kind of Skynet operatives attempted to do the same thing, they would be detected and dealt with.
The tower contacted Savannah now. She spoke with the tower and entered the landing pattern. They were already cleared thanks to CamNet. They touched down a few minutes later. Everything went smoothly.
Savannah could see most of the aircraft were airliners and a lot of private jets.
"We're kind of small for the rest of the aircraft around here." Savannah said.
Cameron smiled.
"We're also the most important one." Cameron said. "It would appear in this case, size doesn't matter."
Savannah quickly looked at Cameron to see if she was joking. It didn't look like it. She continued on the taxiway after she was off the runway.
"Where to?" Savannah asked. "Where's my turn off and parking spot?"
Cameron gave her instructions on where to go to park the plane. CamNet was able to get everything lined up for them.
Savannah went to the area where Cameron directed her to go. She parked in her designated spot. All of the other aircraft around them were private planes of various sizes. She wanted to do like she did on every flight. She got out and checked over the plane quickly to make sure everything looked OK. CamNet made arrangements to have it fueled. She stuck her head back inside the plane.
"We need to get our gear stashed." Savannah said.
Cameron considered using the dirty clothes she took off at the beginning of the flight to cover over the weapons and other associated gear temporarily.
"I'm working on it." Cameron said.
Savannah spotted a black SUV moving slowly through the parked planes. There was a smaller compact which followed behind it. It set off a small alarm in her head. It was doubtful they could have been clocked so quickly. There was another explanation. She hoped it was the proper one.
"Unless the vehicles' approaching are what you're 'working on'…." Savannah said as she pointed. "We're going to have trouble."
It looked like a problem to Savannah. She started to look at some of the weapons they now were in possession of. She knew they would be able to put up a formidable response if it became necessary. The rest of the Resistance team left them with a good assortment of weapons. She knew they all left a few from what they carried.
Cameron could see Savannah was a little worried. She wanted to set her mind at ease.
"You can relax. There's no need to worry." Cameron said. "It's our ride. I verified it through CamNet."
Cameron stepped out from between the parked planes and flagged the SUV down. She picked up her dirty pants when she exited the airplane. There were a few things in them she still needed.
The driver got out and gave Cameron two sets of keys. She fished around in the pocket of her dirty pants and gave the driver a tip.
The driver's eyes opened wide and his face lit up.
"Wow!" The driver said as he looked at the tip. "Thank You!"
The tip was five, one hundred dollar bills.
There were actually a few things she needed to take care of. She wanted to make sure she received good service. She wanted to make sure everything else she would need would be provided quickly and with a smile. It was always much more pleasant to deal with individuals when they were happy. Happy people tended not to cause problems. She didn't like problems. Her method of dealing with problems was often frowned upon by others, especially humans. When there was a problem, she made it 'go away'.
"Please bring two more like this one, but in different colors." Cameron said. "I need them here in ninety minutes by the jet ramp. It's the parking area for the small jets. They've already been paid for."
The rental car driver was very pleased.
"Yes, Ma'am…." The driver said with a smile as he hurried off.
There was a second vehicle behind him which would return him to the facility.
Cameron and Savannah loaded up the back of the SUV with all the 'hardware'. They used Cameron's dirty clothes to hide the weapons when they moved them. They didn't want someone to accidentally see them with weapons at the airport. It would only produce a negative reaction they didn't need. It would most likely lead to the redirection of any emergency personnel responding to a different area of the city. It might also lead to the termination of anyone too persistent in their misguided attempt to stop them.
Savannah looked at the covered over long guns as they moved them from the plane to the SUV.
"I hope no one asks us what these are." Savannah said.
Cameron tilted her head slightly. She remembered an answer which was used before in a similar situation. It was the year she opened her bank account at the bank they used for their time jump from 1999. She opened her account in 1963.
"We'll just tell them they're 'curtain rods'." Cameron said.
Savannah was pretty sure she heard the exact same reference before, but couldn't quite place it. It started to 'click' in the back of her mind.
"I have a feeling somebody else made a similar statement previously." Savannah said.
The incident associated with it troubled Cameron slightly. She knew the truth would never come out. It could never come out. She needed to protect someone, it wasn't herself either.
"They did. The individual was associated with an assassination." Cameron said. "You know the rest of the story, at least the story told to the public."
Savannah wondered what the last part of her answer was supposed to mean. She quickly developed a feeling she probably didn't want to really know. She let it slide and didn't ask. As far as she knew it would involve someone she knew, possibly even herself.
Cameron pulled out the rest of the cash from her dirty clothes. She knew she would be able to turn it into thousands of dollars in minutes in a casino. She did it before. Gambling was 'easy money' for her. There could be even easier money for her. She wouldn't even need a penny if she went to one of the electronic gambling machines. CamNet could make the machine pay off, even before she touched it.
She still liked the personal challenge to beat the house. She was aware the odds always favored the house. She liked to even those odds on some of the other gambling games. She didn't think there was anything out of line for her to use her 'natural ability' in any event she might choose to engage in. It was the same thing anyone else would be allowed to do. The nature of how she came into being shouldn't be held against her. She didn't have any say in her creation anymore than anyone else did in theirs. Other people did different things and 'presto', there they were.
The SUV was quickly loaded and they were ready to go.
Savannah took one more look around the area, as well as inside of the Cessna. She was satisfied everything looked as 'normal' as possible. She was very aware 'normal' didn't often apply to anything Terminators were involved with.
Cameron climbed into the driver's seat.
Savannah sat in the passenger's seat and they headed out of the airport. There was no one at the gate to exit the airport, other than a magnetic strip to run over. She would have thought security would have been a little tighter. She knew the main safeguard would be to prevent people from entering the airport, rather than leaving it.
"What's next?" Savannah asked.
Cameron and Savannah traded quick looks at each other. There were a lot of 'hints' and 'knocking' on the flight over. There were so many sexual innuendos exchanged between them, there might as well be a neon sign with a big arrow pointed at both of them on the dashboard of the SUV, especially where the sun didn't shine.
Cameron intended to hit the 'jackpot' in Las Vegas. It wouldn't happen on the gambling floor for her either. It would happen in a bed in a room. She knew it's what she needed right now. She needed to get a room. She glanced over at Savannah and lightly moistened her lips. It was clear she knew what she wanted to try.
"I think we need to establish a base of operations." Cameron said. "I think a room at one of the casino hotels would probably be a good starting point. It would allow us the opportunity to get everything set up, and take care of any business we need to deal with."
Savannah watched as Cameron held her gaze. They looked at each other in silence for an extended period of time as Cameron drove. She really hoped one of Cameron's eyes was on the road.
The Resistance jet was flown by Gail and John Henry. John was in the back of the plane with Cammy, Sheila, and Ally. They experienced some high clouds shortly after they took off and gained some altitude. There wasn't much to see below them.
Later on, Ally glanced out of one of the windows. The cloud cover was gone. She was a little surprised at what she spotted.
"Look at those reddish rocks." Ally said.
Sheila was next to Ally. The terrain looked unfamiliar to her.
"I don't remember those on the road to Vegas." Sheila said. "I don't think too much should have changed in sixty years."
Cammy and John looked out the window. They both knew there should have been mostly desert below them.
John knew what it was right away when he looked out the window. He was instantly agitated. He knew it wasn't right. At least it wasn't where they should have seen on their flight to Las Vegas.
"It's the Grand Canyon." John said. "It's out of our way."
John was a little upset now because they were being delayed. He was sure Cameron was behind it. Who else would take such a brash and defiant move against the General? He also remembered when he visited there as a kid with his mother, a donkey ate part of his shirt. He was never really comfortable around them again. He was sure it was one of the things which added to his current upset feeling.
Cammy arrived at the same conclusion as John. It appeared as if someone wanted to sideline them. She got up from her seat. She wanted to find out what the cockpit crew was up to.
"Cameron has us on a detour." Cammy said. "Let me find out what's happening."
Gail saw Cammy walk up towards the cockpit. She didn't want to get into an argument about something she wasn't responsible for.
"Don't even ask." Gail said. "It's out of our hands."
Cammy noticed neither John Henry nor Gail actually flew the plane. Neither one of them currently touched any of the controls. She could feel the jet make a slight turn. She figured she knew what was happening.
"Does CamNet have control?" Cammy asked.
John Henry looked a little frustrated himself. There wasn't much he could do about it from his current position in the cockpit.
"Yes." John Henry said. "She took control fifteen minutes ago. We were instructed not to say anything unless we were specifically asked. CamNet, or Cameron, appears to want to delay our arrival, or John's arrival anyway."
Cammy returned to John.
"Cameron or CamNet is giving us a tour for a while." Cammy said. "CamNet has control of the plane. Our pilots are just passengers like we are."
John felt powerless to act. He doubted he had much, if any, influence with CamNet. Now didn't seem like the time to issue some type of a challenge.
"Nice." John said.
John knew there was little they could do without angering Cameron. He believed she was the one behind it for whatever reason it was. He was sure of two things. The first one was, nothing was going to change if he said anything. The second one was, all it would do is enrage Cameron if he challenged her.
He thought of attempting to make an 'end run' around Cameron. He could call Savannah and ask her to remove the delay. Since she was with Cameron, it probably wasn't a good place to start. Maybe he should call Young Allison. She might be eager to help him. Wait. He remembered what Young Allison said about the girls 'sticking together' in Cameron's future. She also criticized his decisions to go out into the field previously. It was exactly what he was doing now. He really didn't want to further humiliate himself. He decided to let everything play out.
"I guess we're along for the ride." John said.
Cammy didn't think it was a total loss. She learned from Savannah how beauty could be found in many things other than another individual.
"You can look out the window at a natural wonder, or watch me and enjoy the show." Cammy said. "I'll give you the choice to decide which view you would rather look at right now."
Cammy moved to where Ally and Sheila changed at earlier. She proceeded to strip and change her clothes in John's view. She made quite a show out of it.
Ally and Sheila moved back next to John. He tried not to look but still did.
Sheila wanted John to calm down some. It was clear he was pretty high strung right now.
"Relax, love." Sheila said. "She did say to 'enjoy the show'…. I know I'm going to. It's nothing you haven't seen before, quite literally."
Ally felt a lot of frustration as she watched Cammy strip and change her clothes. She could see John look a little more intently at Cammy than he did at her earlier.
"You just saw the SAME thing a few minutes ago when I changed." Ally said. "I still don't know how she looks better than me. I've got everything she's got."
John realized he did look a little more intently at Cammy than he did Ally. He didn't want any animosity between the girls or hard feelings. He especially didn't want either of those directed at him by anyone. He figured he would receive plenty of them from Cameron soon enough.
"You look beautiful, Ally." John said. "I think you're very pretty and highly attractive."
Ally thought she should at least let John 'cop a feel' for his nice answer. She quickly lifted her top.
"Go ahead, touch one, or both." Ally said. "You've earned it."
Sheila didn't want to be upstaged. She lifted her top and flashed everyone.
"I look better than you." Sheila said. "AND I look Hotter."
"Do not…." Ally said.
"Do so…." Sheila said.
Cammy didn't care for the interruption during her personal show.
"Get a room." Cammy said curtly. "We've already seen the sideshow. We don't need a repeat."
John didn't like the way things were headed.
"Please, don't argue." John said.
Sheila started to pull her top down. She lifted it back up and flashed John again.
"It's anything and everything for you, love." Sheila said.
Ally looked at John and winked.
"Anything…." Ally said. "Everything…."
John wondered how far they would actually be willing to go. There were a few things Cameron always seemed a little reluctant to do. Maybe they could be obtained elsewhere without a problem.
"Do you mean 'anything'?" John asked.
The girls radiated sexuality.
"ANYTHING…." Ally and Sheila both said at the same time. "EVERYTHING…."
Cammy wanted to remind John the Metal girls would be very 'responsive' to him if 'asked'.
"Be careful, John." Cammy said. "They CAN'T say 'no'. It's in their programming. All of the females are at your 'command', even the human ones."
Cammy knew the human girls were all willing to give it a go. It was John who always blinked, not them.
John was told the same thing by Cameron many times. He wondered if it was really true or not. He was afraid to 'ask' to see if it was true. He was afraid once he did, the Metal girls wouldn't stop until the deed was done. He wondered if it applied to Cameron's clones as well.
"How about you, Cammy, are you included?" John asked.
Cammy flashed John her beautiful 'million dollar smile'.
"I WON'T say 'no', even if I could." Cammy said. "Everything you want is right here. It's ready and waiting. Do you really think Cameron could suppress all of her programming about you?"
Cammy was almost 'with' John once before when he thought she was Savannah in the dark. She purposely deceived him then. She used Savannah's voice. She thought it was going to happen. She was sure at some point John would figure out it wasn't Savannah in the dark. Unfortunately Cameron and Savannah caught them before things went too far. She was ready to give it a go now as 'herself'. She wanted to show John she could be a better lover than Cameron.
She was aware of what Cameron really wanted. She would try to take Savannah away from her. A little 'payback' would be 'poetic justice'. She would really like to show Cameron where John's 'little soldiers' were at inside of her sheath. She needed to come up with a better plan of 'attack'. She still needed to get John's 'little soldiers' inside of her before she could do it. She wanted to see the smug look fade off Cameron's face. What a Bitch.
Cameron and Savannah headed to a casino hotel a little ways off from the airport. They parked the SUV and headed for the front desk.
Savannah thought everything looked really nice inside the hotel. She thought as a hotel it was beautiful. The only trouble was, she could hear the sounds of gambling going on in the casino attached to the lobby.
Cameron entered a series of numbers into a keypad. There was a 'VIP package' waiting for her. She picked it up and they headed for the elevator.
There was a special express elevator for the top floors. It could only be accessed by a card key, or a series of numbers entered into the keypad above the elevator buttons.
"What floor are we on?" Savannah asked. "I have to say this place is really nice."
Cameron looked over at Savannah and smiled. She wanted to give Savannah a surprise once they reached their destination. She decided to have some fun in the process.
"We have the top floor." Cameron said. "We have the Master Suite."
Savannah was a little unsure about Cameron's answer. Just a regular room with a shower would have been fine. The fact they were in a suite on the top floor was rather intriguing, even if it was unnecessary.
"We have a big suite?" Savannah asked. "It sounds expensive."
Cameron wanted to treat Savannah like a queen.
"I want nothing but the best for you." Cameron said. "Don't forget, it's not our money we're spending either. Much of it comes from the illegal drug and sex trade. The money doesn't even matter. The fact I put them 'out of business' forever does."
Savannah couldn't disagree with Cameron at all. Criminals who prayed on other people deserved to be terminated. It didn't bother her Sheila 'took her time' with some of those involved in the sex trade. They deserved what they got.
They reached the top floor and exited into the hall.
Cameron led Savannah to a room and stopped at the door.
Savannah stared at the sign on the door for a few seconds before she turned and looked at Cameron. It wasn't the 'Master Suite'.
"It says 'Honeymoon Suite' on the door." Savannah said.
Cameron looked at Savannah with a very serious look on her face and then she smiled.
"What a surprise." Cameron said as she opened the door. "I hope the sign is very prophetic."
Savannah was about to respond when another event caught her by surprise.
The next surprise was when Cameron swept Savannah off her feet and 'carried her across the threshold'. She set Savannah down once they were inside.
"I wasn't expecting you to do anything like that." Savannah said. "It was a surprise."
'It also has meaning….' Savannah thought.
Cameron gave Savannah a sly glance.
"Life is full of them." Cameron said.
Savannah looked around the room with some awe. It was more than she expected in any hotel room, even if it was a suite.
"This room is gigantic." Savannah said.
Savannah looked around at everything and the smaller rooms which adjoined it. There were treats and bottles of alcohol here and there.
Cameron could see Savannah was thrilled with the luxury. She knew Savannah's room was very simple. She knew this was a big change for Savannah from the way she wanted to live her life. It was on the other end of the spectrum. Savannah collected very few possessions.
In fact, none of the girls from the future did either. They learned when they needed to flee Skynet Terminators, or a group of Scavengers, they were forced to leave everything behind and RUN for their life. They watched some people die trying to get 'their things'. Since no one could actually hang on to anything for very long, there was no point having anything other than what one required to stay alive.
Savannah looked out of one of the giant picture windows. It extended from the floor to the ceiling with a glass balcony so the view wasn't blocked.
"Look at this view." Savannah said. "It's beautiful, Cameron."
Cameron didn't look out of the window.
'YES it is.' Cameron thought as she looked at Savannah.
Cameron knew there was a way to provide Savannah with a life like this. It could happen in various cities or countries around the world. She wouldn't have any trouble obtaining money in the past. She would simply use the same methods she used now to acquire cash. She could win it gambling, take it from banks, or from the thugs who have existed since the beginning of time and took advantage of others. It was her preferred method. The best part of it all was, she would be able to terminate them. She didn't think it would change the future much to get rid of the lowlifes.
"Let me take you back into the past and you can live like this everyday. You can live on room service." Cameron said. "You'll never have another worry. You won't have to look over your shoulder and wonder if Skynet tracked you down or not."
Savannah knew the option was available anytime, all of the time. The past wasn't where her future was destined to be.
"I'd like it, Cameron, but it's not my destiny." Savannah said. "I have certain responsibilities I need to adhere to and honor. I can't protect the future or John in the past."
Cameron was very aware it's what she was doing. She was from the future, and now she was in the past.
"I am." Cameron said.
Savannah felt a little frustration. Duty would lead her forward not backwards. She absentmindedly reached down and touched her lower belly.
"I guess you are." Savannah said. "I need to use my body to provide for those who can't provide for themselves. It's something only I can do to help others, to help myself. There are those I need to help in the present. I'm going to do it."
Savannah looked at Cameron.
Cameron knew she referred to her. She felt very guilty. She didn't believe she would ever be able to take a baby out of Savannah's arms for herself no matter how much she wanted it. She looked over towards the bathroom area. It was quite substantial and contained several rooms.
"I need to get cleaned up." Cameron said.
There was a knock at the door.
Savannah quickly looked at the door. She reached down and touched her Taser. She didn't think they were expecting visitors.
Cameron knew exactly who it was.
"Answer it. There's no need to worry." Cameron said. "It's some food and nicer clothes for us. It should be a female attendant."
Savannah drew her Taser and approached the door. She figured it was better to be safe than sorry.
Savannah peered out the peep hole in the door. There was a female outside with a cart. She put her Taser away behind her back.
"Open it." Cameron said as she walked over and placed some money in Savannah's hand.
There was a food cart and several packages.
"Congratulations." The attendant said as she indicated the 'Honeymoon Suite' sign on the door.
Savannah smiled to herself at what it represented.
The attendant was about to bring the items into the room.
"Thanks…." Savannah said as she moved the cart inside the door. "I'll take it from here."
The attendant looked a little uneasy. It was her job to provide complete service.
Savannah smiled at her and gave her a tip.
"We need some privacy." Savannah said quietly. "Thank you for everything."
The attendant's eyes widened when she looked in and saw Cameron standing there naked.
"Thank You." The attendant said as she eyeballed Cameron. "And I REALLY mean Congratulations."
Savannah thanked her again and closed the door. She moved the cart further into the room. He was a little surprised to see Cameron standing there naked. She better understood the attendant's jubilation.
Cameron looked in the boxes at the clothes. She liked to pick her own clothes out, but these were much better than the pieces of clothing donated by her fellow Terminators at the railroad construction site. They were able to come up with a complete set of clothing for her from what they found inside the trucks they appropriated.
"I need to shower…." Cameron said. "It's a really, really, big shower. The tub is beautiful too."
It was a clear invitation for Savannah to join her.
Cammy finished dressing and sat back down near John. She looked at both Sheila and Ally as she did. It was clearly a challenge to both of them.
Just to see Cammy naked made John want to ask a question. He doubted he would get a straight answer. He really wondered if he already held her chassis in his arms if she pretended to be Cameron.
"Have you ever 'switched' before?" John asked.
Cammy quickly realized John's question referenced Cameron and her. She remembered some of the things she read in Cosmo. She thought she could be a little mysterious and coy with her answer. She wanted to see how much it really mattered to him. Maybe any warm naked body was all that mattered to him. It would get the job done, so did it really matter who it was? What if the lights were off, or he closed his eyes? It wouldn't matter who it was then. The only thing which would matter was it was someone, and they would get what they wanted.
"Does it matter?" Cammy asked. "If everyone enjoyed themselves, what else matters?"
John wanted a better answer. He often wondered about what all Cameron would do, especially to prove some type of point.
"No, really…." John said. "Have you?"
Sheila and Ally exchanged glances, but didn't say anything.
Cammy thought about her answer before she spoke.
"Yes. I've switched before." Cammy said. "It's no big deal."
John's eyes widened. If it already happened before, it meant it could happen again. There was a look of excitement on his face.
"Really…?" John asked. "So we have…?"
Cammy liked the look on John's face. It wasn't what he thought or wanted.
"I've switched before with Cam, Camille, and Ally." Cammy said.
John wanted a little better answer than she gave. He wanted to know for sure.
"But not with Cameron?" John asked.
Ally thought John should back off a little bit.
"John, you don't need to ask about her sex life. It should be private for everyone. If they want to say what they've done, it's up to them. It's not up to you." Ally said. "If you want some, Sheila and I are available. All you need to do is ask. We're both ready and willing."
Sheila didn't think what the girls did was a secret from anyone.
"You know the girls all make time for each other." Sheila said. "We're one big happy family. I can tell you I've been with everyone who will have me. I'm ready for more. I want more. All you need to do is ask."
John looked out the window. He still didn't get the answer he wanted from Cammy. He thought it was best to drop the issue for now. It was clear the Metal girls were ready to take things a step further, but he needed to initiate it. All he needed to do was ask. The best thing to do was to change the subject.
"Where are we now?" John asked.
John Henry was able to get a clear view of their location from the cockpit.
"We're over southern Utah." John Henry called back.
John realized he must have heard all their conversation as well. He really wanted the discussion to go in a different direction at this point.
"What can we expect to see down there?" John asked.
John Henry calculated their course.
"It looks like a tour of the southern Utah National Parks. We'll pass over Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion to name a few." John Henry said. "The flight path takes us past them on your side of the plane."
Those were all locations John heard about but never visited himself.
"OK, I know we don't get out much for this." John said. "Where's the train at?"
John Henry didn't think they would have a problem with the train. He could still have his server give it a red signal at any point. There was rail traffic already headed in the opposite direction towards it. He could make it take a siding at any time.
"It is still a few hours away from Las Vegas." John said. "We'll arrive before it does."
John thought it was actually up to CamNet and their fuel load.
"We hope." John said.
John Henry could tell that John was irritated. He thought he should point out the reason for what was happening. It was actually John's fault.
"John, because you're doing this, Cameron wants more Terminators on the ground before you arrive." John Henry said. "She's worried about your safety and wants to make sure you're protected. It's something you knew was going to happen at some point."
John didn't think he needed any new babysitters. He wasn't disappointed with the ones he currently was with.
"I get it." John said. "I like the help I have right now."
The Metal girls all smiled.
John was aware by him being out again, it would draw away all of Cameron's help. He knew he endangered both Cameron and Savannah now.
Right now he could enjoy the view out the window, and the view of the Metal girls inside the plane. He currently shared his time with the window and Sheila's exposed left breast with the nipple ring. It was very hard to resist the urge to touch the jewelry. It was just right there in front of him.
It 'called' to him.
Cameron looked into Savannah's eyes.
"I think my back is dirty." Cameron said.
Savannah knew Cameron wanted 'more'. She wanted Cameron to make the choice.
"Do you need your back washed?" Savannah asked.
Cameron still looked into Savannah's eyes.
"It would be great." Cameron said.
Cameron disappeared toward the massive bathroom area.
Savannah looked at the food, and heard the shower running. She hadn't had anything to eat or drink in a while. The food sure looked good.
There was no choice.
There was a greater 'hunger' which called to her….
Savannah started to strip off her clothes. She left a trail of them behind her as each piece was removed. She took one last look behind at the food and turned her back on it. She hurriedly headed for the shower….
Closing monologue by Cameron:
We're All A Threat
We know where we are
We know where we need to go
The destination is the same
Whether we go fast or slow
There are few to lead
But many to follow
One can rise up
Or continue to wallow
What do we have
When there's nothing to lose
Time to make a decision
Many choices from which to choose
This is what you've got
So look all around
You're still free
You're not yet bound
A guide into the future
Should be an asset
Instead it seems
We're all a threat
Nobody
