Chapter 844
Pressed Together
Young Allison followed the operation as it developed from the Young bunker. She wasn't happy John's team was purposely delayed. She thought the Resistance forces would be stronger if they were united. She was worried about Cameron and Savannah.
It wasn't her place to second guess Cameron or John on their decisions. It still left her with a very uneasy feeling at the way events were unfolding. She hoped to get a better understanding of why the decisions were being made.
"What's Cameron doing?" Young Allison asked. "She needs John and the Metal girls on the ground to back her up. It's only Savannah and her right now. There don't need to be any unnecessary delays."
Young Allison didn't know Cameron and Savannah were currently in the Honeymoon Suite at a large hotel near the rail yard. She was concerned for their safety and didn't know what they were about to engage in. Whether the precise information would have changed her concern or not was unknown. It more than likely would have some effect on her in some way. As of yet, she didn't know they were headed for the shower and both of them were stark raving naked.
Anna wasn't so sure Young Allison's assessment would be the case. She thought it would be just the opposite once John's team arrived. It seemed to her Cameron attempted to keep John's team out of harm's way. She wanted to remind Young Allison of her own earlier assessment of John's away missions.
"You know what will happen as soon as John is on the ground." Anna said. "The current situation will most likely play out as it normally does."
Young Allison did know. It caused her quite a bit of frustration as well. She just mentioned something about it a very short while ago. She didn't think it helped any when John was involved on a direct level. Generals weren't normally in the trenches with the front line troops. They weren't supposed to be 'ground pounders'.
"Cameron will send ALL her help to protect John. It will leave Savannah and her in even more peril." Young Allison said. "It's what always happens."
They both understood any help Savannah and Cameron would have received, would now be directed to assist John instead. Cameron felt it was her duty to protect John and would endanger her own safety to do so. It was what she always did.
Anna viewed hundreds of small video feeds of traffic and security cameras around the Las Vegas area, all at the same time. There were far too many feeds for her to keep track of.
"There's a lot of information to process here." Anna said. "It will take time to organize everything."
Young Alison didn't want Anna to get sidetracked when there was someone else who could review every camera in Las Vegas. They could review every camera in the world connected to the internet, or any other system she might have backdoor access to. The program she took over from the Skynet operative, Charles Fisher, gave her access too much more than just what could be reached from the internet alone.
"CamNet needs to look at all of the information herself." Young Allison said. "There are thousands and thousands of cameras there. She can determine what's happening at some locations before it develops and alert us."
Anna was aware there were two supercomputers currently doing the same thing. They both searched for any threats to the Resistance teams.
"Both CamNet and John Henry's server are doing it already." Anna said. "The ones I'm viewing are the ones which show up as most relevant."
Young Allison watched as Anna looked at hundreds of moving images all at the same time. It was amazing.
"I can only imagine what it would be like without the assistance you're already receiving." Young Allison said.
Anna assured her CamNet would find anything, if it was there to be found.
"If anything shows a 'red flag', we will know about it very quickly." Anna said.
Young Allison was worried about Cameron and Savannah. She was worried about the delay of John's team. She didn't feel it was necessary. She really thought things should be done a little differently than they currently were being done. She decided to make her opinion known. No. It wasn't her opinion. It was what she wanted done for a specific reason. She glanced over at Anna before she acted.
'CamNet, I want John's team on the ground at once to assist Cameron and Savannah.' Young Allison typed. 'Please.'
CamNet responded to her immediately.
'They have been given priority clearance to land.' CamNet responded. 'Cameron made arrangements for their transportation as well.'
Young Allison was a little surprised to find out Cameron already lined up transportation for them once they landed. It was clear to her Cameron wanted to make sure they were available to back her up as soon as they landed.
'Thank you.' Young Allison typed.
'Anything - for you….' CamNet responded.
Young Allison understood CamNet's implication.
'We must respect Savannah's wishes.' Young Allison typed.
'Affirmative….' CamNet responded.
Young Allison didn't want any type of toxic or negative atmosphere.
'Please, don't be like that.' Young Allison typed. 'We all know the rules.'
'I'm sorry.' CamNet responded. 'WE all care.'
Young Allison did care very much. She also made an agreement with Savannah.
'I know WE do.' Young Allison typed. 'I haven't forgotten anything. Always remember it. Thank you for your assistance.'
Young Allison briefly thought about her personal conversation with CamNet. She was a little disturbed about the tone of the conversation. She wasn't really sure what was going to happen in the future, but she was pretty sure something was going to happen.
She would need to see how things played out, and what rules were established. There was always a way for things to slip through the 'cracks', even if it was an 'end run' around the rules. There shouldn't always be some who make specific decisions for other people about personal matters. She understood some things were a bad idea. She also was very aware they happened anyway, even knowing they were a bad idea.
Claire listened from the top of the bunker stairs. It was clear her 'little girl' was no longer her 'little girl'. Young Allison belonged to the future now. Everything she did, and even her desires were all directed at protecting the future and protecting John.
She didn't see any way to change any of it at this point. It was clearly what Young Allison wanted for herself. She could only hope she would be able to hang on to one of her daughters. She touched her belly. Once she was done having babies for both Allison and Cameron, she desperately wanted one of her own. She wanted to be able to keep one of her children. She wasn't even sure she would be able to hang on to Summer at this point. Summer seemed to advance on her own towards the future. She seemed very advanced at everything, on every level. She knew Summer was the most intelligent person she ever met in her life.
The one thing she wanted more than anything for Young Allison was for her to be with Savannah. She knew Savannah would love and protect her no matter what. It would apply both in the present, and in the future. She knew true love when she saw it. She could see the same true love with Allison and Vanna, and with Future Savannah and Future Allison. She witnessed the love with her own eyes. She wanted the same love for her daughter. She actually wanted Savannah's love for herself. She didn't want to seem delusional or greedy. She knew it wasn't hers to take. There were certain rules, even if they weren't written, which needed to be adhered to. She needed to refocus her attention.
There was someone who seemed to catch her fancy. They were actually two of them. One of them was just as untouchable as Savannah was for anything going forward. Even if something developed, it couldn't go anywhere because of what was already there. She didn't want to be viewed as a 'home wrecker'.
The desire for the other individual was unrestricted. The more she was around her, the more she thought about her when she wasn't around here. It was Jesse. She wasn't sure if it was because Jesse was very dominant, or because she knew there was a 'real Jesse' inside of Jesse who desperately wanted true love. It was her belief it was like an egg waiting to be hatched. She wanted to incubate the egg and see what emerged from it.
Claire was startled as someone came up behind her. She was lost deep in thought and totally inattentive. She realized if she was in the future and it happened, she could have wound up dead in the next few seconds. It was a very sobering thought. It was never too far in the back of her mind she was alive in the current timeline. The fact she was dead in the other timelines bothered her very much. She couldn't protect her daughters in the other timelines. There was a lot of help now to help protect her daughters, all of them.
Allison could see her mother was deeply troubled. She would have been even more surprised to know what else was on her mind and why. She believed her mother was worried about Young Allison. It could also be about Savannah. The point was, she didn't want her mother to worry needlessly.
"Mom, you need to not worry about it." Allison said. "I'll take as much heat off her as I can, but it needs to play out."
Allison planned to step up a little more. She contributed a lot more to the Resistance when she first arrived from the future than she did in the last few years. She was very aware it needed to change. There is no reason she couldn't do some of the things Young Allison was expected to do. It included anything from fighting, to 'bed duty' in John's bedroom to protect him from the anti-Metal group. How hard could it be?
Claire was glad it was Allison. She wasn't sure if any of those things were Allison's responsibilities or not. She was out of her future. None of it mattered anymore. None of it should matter anymore anyway. She was away from her terrible past - the future.
"It all seems so impossible at times, but I know it's not. I've seen at least two more of 'her'. There's you, and you have two 'Duplicates', and there's Future Allison." Claire said. "Down there is MY little girl who isn't so little any more and there are five of her. From what Cameron said there may be more with different timelines."
It worried Claire greatly about what might have happened to any version of her daughter in the future, any future. She didn't want to say it to Allison and remind her about what she needed to endure.
Allison quickly realized it was Young Allison who her mother referred to. She was glad she hadn't mentioned any names earlier. She knew it would be even more for her mother to worry about. It was something she worried about. She didn't think any speculation about other futures mattered in their case. Life was about the moment. It was about what was in front of one's face. None of the rest of it mattered. It could all change in a moment. More than once she watched things go from good to bad in an instant.
"I don't know tech stuff, Mom." Allison said. "All we can know for sure is what we see. All we can know is what is currently happening now. The future is always unpredictable and changeable to some extent. I'm very thankful you're still alive and I have a sister in the timeline I'm currently in."
Allison was aware of Cameron's theory about 'tides in time'. It was based around the fact when changes were made, events still played out in a similar manner, even if they were different. The overall effect was very much the same.
Claire was aware of Cameron's theory about 'tides in time' as well. Allison's statement made Claire really wonder. It was what she thought about only moments ago. It always bothered her she was dead in Allison's future. She was also dead in Future Allison's future. It wasn't a feeling which sat well with her. She wasn't there for her daughter in any future. She wasn't there to prevent the things which happened to her. Sometimes she thought it wasn't so bad because it wasn't like what Vanna and Jesse needed to endure. She knew it wasn't the right way to think about things. It all mattered. What was wrong was wrong. It was all very confusing and upsetting to her. If things were different in the current timeline, how long would they remain different? When would the other things occur, which already occurred in the other futures?
"Am I only alive in this timeline?" Claire asked. "Is this the only one with Summer in it?"
Allison could only go on what she knew. There could be unknowns, but it's why they were unknowns.
"Apparently…." Allison said. "There may be things we don't know about. The only thing which should matter is you're alive now, and Summer is your daughter. I understand Young Allison is just Allison to you, your daughter. I know it's still hard for you to accept me as the older version of her. I know you see me more as an equal and best friend. I have those same feelings as well, in every way."
Claire felt a little bit guilty. It was exactly how she viewed Allison. It was best not to dwell on the subject now either.
"I think there is a lot we don't know." Claire said. "I know some things change, and some things don't."
Claire didn't think there was much she could do at this point. It seemed they were all along for the ride on the train of life, and Cameron was the conductor. It also crossed her mind how life was one big 'crap sandwich', and they were all going to have to take a bite.
Control of the jet was turned back over to Gail. It surprised both her and John Henry. It seemed very sudden and without explanation. They were only given ten seconds notice.
"I have control of the aircraft again." Gail said.
John Henry received landing instructions as well.
"We've been given priority landing." John Henry said.
Everyone was instantly alert. Why was there a sudden change?
John was more than a little concerned about what just occurred. There needed to be some kind of reason. It seemed unplanned in every way.
"Did anything happen?" John asked.
John Henry wasn't giving any information about it, nor was he alerted by his server of anything of a different nature.
"It's currently unknown." John Henry said.
John wanted to make sure the Metal girls were ready to go.
"Girls, it looks like we'll be landing soon." John said. "We don't know what we're about to face."
The Metal girls checked over all their gear.
Cammy didn't see it as a problem. She figured she would be able to deal with it herself. The others could get John to safety if it was necessary.
"We're ready for any challenge." Cammy said.
Sheila looked out the window.
"What happened to our tour?" Sheila asked. "I was just starting to like it. It reminded me of the 'Outback'."
Ally thought it was quite a reach for Sheila.
"What do you know about the Outback?" Ally asked. "When did you go there?"
John knew what Sheila referred to. He wondered if she went there too. He knew a lot happened behind the scenes.
Sheila's left breast was still exposed. She absentmindedly moved the nipple ring up and down. Sometimes she even pulled on it and twisted it.
John was very excited to watch her do it. He wasn't sure if she did it just to keep his attention or not. He was certain he could see a twinge of pain on her face when she would twist the ring. He knew she didn't have to feel pain at all. Cameron told him when she could feel pain, she knew she was alive. With all the damage Cameron received, he figured she knew she was alive a lot. He was sure the Metal girls all did the same thing. It made him wonder if they did it by choice, or were coerced by Cameron to do it.
Sheila looked at Ally.
"You know I like to go 'Down Under'." Sheila said with a smile on her face.
Ally looked at Sheila and frowned. She didn't want to get caught up in Sheila's web of perversion and extreme behavior.
"Oh, brother…." Ally said. "I walked right into it."
The smile on Sheila's face widened.
"Yes…." Sheila said. "You have. You liked it too."
Cammy didn't want to listen to nonsensical banter. She was worried about Savannah. She was on the ground with Cameron in Las Vegas. She wanted to know what type of trouble Cameron must have involved them in already. There needed to be a reason behind the sudden change of events.
"Enough..." Cammy said. "I want to know what happened."
John also felt something was different for the abrupt change to occur. He was worried about Savannah and Cameron.
"We need to find out if anything has happened." John said. "Something must have happened."
John Henry hadn't detected any incidents through his server. There was nothing to report.
"It seems CamNet was instructed to get us on the ground at once." John Henry said.
John wasn't sold on the idea. He pressed the issue.
"Was there an incident?" John asked. "It sounds like it."
John Henry continuously checked with his server - JH.
"My server is going through thousands of cameras in the Las Vegas area as we speak." John Henry said. "Nothing has been detected."
John was more than worried at this point. He thought about John Henry's wording. Who could instruct CamNet to do something? He couldn't reach anyone.
"Something cut our 'trip' short." John said. "It must have been Cameron or Savannah. I can't reach either one."
CamNet detected the confusion and concern in the jet. She notified John Henry exactly what the change was about and why. She thought it mattered.
John Henry was a little surprised at the new information he received.
"It was neither Cameron nor Savannah." John Henry said. "It was Allison - Young Allison. She wants to make sure Cameron and Savannah have some help. She was the one who asked CamNet to get us on the ground as soon as possible."
It still didn't tell them if Savannah and Cameron were in imminent danger.
It was a reminder to John how Savannah and Allison - Young Allison, could help him 'influence' both Cameron and CamNet in a positive way. It was clear they would be vital assets going forward into the future. He could see it was the very reason Future John wanted the same individuals at his side in the future. Their thinking and advice was always sound. He couldn't think of a single instance where either Savannah's or Young Allison's decisions were wrong or created a problem. His thoughts seemed to slip out.
"Young Allison…. I need to keep her handy. She can assist me." John said. "Young Allison, Savannah, and Cameron will all help me."
All the Terminators wondered if John 'got it'. It was the point. It was to draw the four of them together and make them closer. The 'Natural Order' was unstoppable.
Gail wanted everyone to prepare for the landing.
"We will be 'wheels down' in three minutes." Gail said.
John quickly put his seat up and made sure his seat belt was tight. It seemed to him they were coming in a little hot.
"Everything seems to be happening very quickly." John said.
Gail was most concerned about Savannah. Her instructions were to land as soon as possible. She took it literally. She went to full power with the jet as soon as she regained control of the aircraft. She was going to need to slow the jet down a little more than it currently was. She was coming in hot.
"I've been at maximum speed since CamNet released control." Gail said. "I'll need to flair up some to slow down. Don't be alarmed."
John wondered what awaited them on the ground. He began to question his decision to go. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea after all. He still wanted to be there in Las Vegas. He wanted a 'piece of the action'. He thought about Cameron and especially Savannah. Maybe the action wasn't the only thing he wanted a 'piece' of. He wanted Savannah's virginity and something told him Las Vegas is where it was going to happen. He really wondered what was in the carry-on luggage Gail took from Savannah's room. Did she get something for Savannah, or Cameron? He believed there was a big difference in whoever made the request.
Young Allison wasn't actually assigned to the task to replace John in his absence. It was a role she stepped into on her own. She looked at the hundreds of images flashing by on Anna's screen.
CamNet issued a threat warning. Enemy activity was discovered.
One of the images on Anna's monitor took full screen.
"There are Grays there." Anna said. "Look at his arm. It's a Skynet brand."
Young Allison was sure he was a Resistance 'sellout'.
"The mark of the beast…." Young Allison said.
The image Young Allison looked at didn't tell her anything in regards where the threat actually was in relation to the two teams on the ground. She wanted some clarity.
"Where are they at?" Young Allison asked. "Are they near Cameron or John?"
Anna showed Young Allison where they were on the satellite map overlay.
Young Allison instantly saw it for the bad news it was. She was aware Cameron and Savannah would be headed there before the arrival of the train they removed the Skynet equipment from.
"It's in the vicinity of the rail yard." Young Allison said. "Alert the others."
Anna went to check and saw it was already covered.
"CamNet already has done it." Anna said.
Young Allison looked at the satellite map overlay.
"Dan and Frank are still a ways off, but ahead of the train." Young Allison said. "Alert them to be extra cautious. We don't know how many of the enemy there are, where they are currently, or where they originated from in the local arena."
Anna found it was covered as well.
"CamNet has done it too." Anna said.
Young Allison was a little surprised when some of the satellite tracking information disappeared.
"What happened to Cameron and Savannah?" Young Allison asked. "Their location just vanished."
Anna felt very uncomfortable with what she would need to report to Young Allison.
"Cameron asked not to be disturbed." Anna said.
Young Allison wasn't quite sure what her answer meant. The danger level just increased dramatically.
"What?" Young Allison asked. "The action is picking up now."
Anna thought it probably was….
Earlier:
Savannah entered the large bathroom. She paused for a moment as she looked around. There was a lot to take in. There was a gigantic sunken tub in the shape of a heart. There was a huge shower. The water sprayed from two different directions. There was a separate area for dressing, a private room for the toilet, as well as one for the two sinks There was a giant bedroom off to the side. There were doors on each section which could be closed, except for the area with the giant shower and the giant tub
The shower was filled with a steamy mist. Savannah could see a figure moving around inside of it. She was sure Cameron was ready to consummate their love. She was pretty sure it's why they were in the Honeymoon Suite and not the Master Suite. She wouldn't 'push'. She knew Cameron needed to make the first 'move'. She waited this long. It wouldn't hurt to wait a few more minutes.
Savannah was ready to follow Cameron's drift once she made the first move and it appeared she was ready for 'more'. She would then take the lead and share her 'experience' with Cameron. It was the very experience Cameron allowed her to learn and share. It was clear to her Cameron wanted her to be the teacher in the ways of love between them.
She looked around and entered the shower. There was no turning back now. Cameron turned to face her. She looked so beautiful to her. Cameron stood there dripping wet as streams of water cascaded over her from two directions.
Cameron reached out to draw Savannah closer.
Savannah moved up into the warm spray. She wasn't sure what was coming next. She let Cameron control what happened.
Cameron held a bar of soap in one hand and a luffa in the other. She reached out to hand both of them to Savannah.
OK….
It wasn't what Savannah expected.
Savannah started to reach for them.
Cameron withdrew her hands with the items still in them.
Savannah was a little surprised by the change in direction. It was as unexpected as the offer of the items in the first place. Maybe Cameron wasn't done yet.
Cameron looked at Savannah's face and then her body from head to toe and back to her face.
"I'll wash you first." Cameron said suggestively.
Savannah thought about the way Cameron just looked at her. It did appear things were going to go somewhere. She wanted to make sure everything was available to Cameron on her body.
"Will it be from head to toe?" Savannah asked.
Cameron's eyes remained transfixed on Savannah's eyes.
"It will and everywhere in between too." Cameron said.
Both girls giggled.
Savannah thought about it for a few seconds and decided she could make it a more enjoyable experience for both of them.
"I have a better idea." Savannah said.
Cameron tilted her head slightly. She thought her idea was a good one.
"We'll wash each other at the same time. We'll take turns for the parts we can't reach easily." Savannah said.
Cameron thought about it and liked the idea. She saw it as a way for them to be very close to each other.
"If we move closer for those parts, we can face each other and still wash each other's back." Cameron said.
Savannah wanted Cameron to know exactly what it would entail.
"We'll be touching. Our bodies will be pressed together…." Savannah said.
Cameron flashed Savannah her sly sideways smile.
"I know." Cameron said.
Cameron wanted to feel Savannah's heart beat through her skin as it was pressed together against her sheath. She knew their breasts would be pressed together tightly. Just the very thought of it excited her greatly.
Savannah was sure things were about to heat up. It didn't have anything to do with the water temperature either.
Cameron reached up with the soap but hesitated. She stopped just short of Savannah. It was clear she was 'afraid' to touch Savannah.
Savannah gently reached up and placed her hand over Cameron's hand and moved it slowly to her shoulder. She wanted Cameron to continue on her own. She removed her hand from Cameron's hand. Cameron hesitated. She smiled at her.
Cameron smiled back. The far off look in her eyes faded into a focused intensity. She looked directly into Savannah's eyes as she started to soap her up. She didn't intend to miss a spot.
The two girls giggled and splashed each other as they playfully washed each other….
It wasn't what Savannah thought was going to happen. They could still have some fun anyway. Maybe later on Cameron would want more than to 'play'. It would still be a very beautiful experience for both of them. It was a way they never shared before together with each other. They were like two school girls playing around right now. She read about it in magazines and online. She was very aware of what other females, most of them were much younger than her now, were involved with. Cameron and her were just at the start of a journey. She knew what the destination was. They still needed to get there from where they currently were. It appeared the journey would be a long one. It was fine with her too.
Dan and Frank received the news about Grays ahead of them and were extra vigilant. They thought they were being followed at one point and set up an ambush to make it look like they experienced car trouble. If any of the Skynet forces were already onto them. They wanted to draw first blood.
Frank accelerated away from the other vehicle around a series of curves through some small rocky hills the road cut through. He stopped the SUV and popped the hood. He exited and left the door open at first and then he closed it. He lifted the hood and moved across the road to the other side. He headed back a short way as he hid among the rocks.
Dan bailed out on the passenger's side. He headed up into the rocks on the small hill ahead of the now 'disabled' looking SUV. That way, if the trailing vehicle stopped in front or in back of their SUV, they would have it covered and zeroed. If one of them engaged the enemy first, they would seek cover and be totally exposed on their backside to the other one of them.
Thirty seconds later a battered, mud splattered, and dust covered four-wheeler came into view.
It slowed as it approached the 'disabled' looking SUV.
The driver looked at it as he passed by it slowly. The four-wheeler stopped half a car length ahead of the 'disabled' SUV and studied it for a short while.
He pulled over off the road in front of the 'disabled' SUV. He got out and looked around.
"Hello!" He said loudly.
There was no response.
"Hello!" He said even louder. "Do you need help?"
He looked in the engine compartment. He didn't appear to touch anything.
Dan came down from behind the rocks on the hillside and silently moved up behind the man.
He peered inside the man's truck. There was a battered shotgun in a rifle rack. It was mounted on the inside across the rear window. The finish was worn off the barrel and the wood stock was scuffed and scratched. There were two dead jackrabbits in the truck. They both looked like they were terminated recently.
Dan moved back in front of the man's truck and kicked a rock to get his attention.
"Here." Dan said as the man started to move towards the driver's door.
The man stopped and spun around. It didn't appear he was a Terminator.
"You startled me." The man said.
It was what Dan hoped to do.
"I'm sorry." Dan said. "I needed to take care of some 'personal business'. It's hot out. I wanted to let the engine cool off a little while I did."
Dan talked to the man for a few minutes and assured him everything was OK. Dan closed the hood and got back inside the SUV. He thanked the man for stopping to help. The man returned to his battered four-wheeler and drove off.
Frank covered him the whole time with his M4.
Dan got back out and retrieved his M4, which he hid behind some rocks. It was where he would have sought cover if the enemy engaged them.
Frank ran back over to their SUV.
They got back in and resumed their drive. A 'no threat' report was sent out. They headed for Las Vegas.
They wanted to stay extra vigilant in case they were being set up for an ambush themselves.
One thing for sure was there were Grays on the ground right where they were headed. There was bound to be an engagement of some type, at some point.
Closing monologue by Cameron:
Resurrection
I truly have come to believe
After deep thought and much reflection
That you're very VERY special indeed
An endless plethora of complexion
I can't stop you from growing
In my mind and heart like an infection
It is better than nice or good
For it's pure real sweet affection
Of any scale, measure, or test there is
With honors you pass every inspection
There simply is no other human
More worthy of this life's protection
My heart and mind are spread open
Ready for you to do a total dissection
Show me your empty lonely path
So WE may alter its lost direction
The things you thought damaged you
Have brought you closer to perfection
Our future has indicated
Our destiny's fate connection
There's NOTHING about you
That needs repair or correction
Look into the mirror of OUR minds
You deserve nothing less than resurrection
Nobody
