"We need to help them," Seth said.

Seth ran towards the door and everyone followed. Ten people had fallen to their deaths and ten people were on their way down the stairs to help them. A scream sounded and then Damian came tumbling down the stairs. He landed with his neck bent awkwardly and everyone stared in horror.

"Damian?" Rhea asked. "No! Damian!"

Rhea ran to Damian and started crying. He had died from the fall.

"And then there were nine," Aleister said.
"Cut it with the emo phase. It wasn't cute back then and it isn't cute now," Liv said.
"Sure, Liv. I'll cut it the day you cut your mean girl phase. We all know that will never happen," Aleister said.
"Fuck you!" Liv snarled.
"I'm not afraid of you anymore. I suggest you shut up before you fall down the stairs the same way Damian just did," Aleister said.
"Are you threatening me?" Liv asked.
"Did you push him?" Rhea asked.
"I was in front of you, Rhea. What do you think?" Aleister asked.
"Of course. Sorry. I just lost my best friend," Rhea said.
"Did you just threaten me?" Liv asked again.
"Shut the fuck up and get downstairs. Damian is dead and we can't help him but maybe we can still help our other friends," Seth said.

They continued running down the stairs and towards the entrance. Seth ran straight into the door and started pushing and pulling it back and forward. It didn't open.

"It's locked," Seth said.
"It shouldn't be," Raquel said. "Step aside."

Raquel took her keys up from her pocket and tried unlocking the door. Nothing happened. The lock refused to move.

"What the fuck? Did someone super glue the lock?" Raquel asked.
"What's going on, Raquel? Get us out of here," Liv said.
"I can't. It won't budge," Raquel said.
"You're fucking useless!" Liv yelled.
"Shut the fuck up!" Seth screamed. "There's gotta be a window in one of the class rooms we can crawl through."

They started running down the hall but all the doors were locked. Raquel tried to unlock them all but none of the locks would budge.

"What the fuck is going on?" Raquel yelled.
"Keep trying. There has to be an open door somewhere or a landline to call for help," Lyra said.

They kept trying doors and made it down to the basement. Liv grabbed a door knob and the door opened. She stepped inside and ran over to the window. She could see the schoolyard. She pushed it open and laughed in relief to herself. The window was big enough for someone her size to squeeze through. She just needed to inform the others.

"Guys!" She yelled. "I found an open window!"

She ran back out in the hall and her smile faded. Everyone was gone. She was alone.

"Guys?" She asked.

No one answered. They had just been there. It made no sense.

"Guys? Raquel? Where are you?" She yelled. "This isn't funny!"

She looked in all directions and spotted the door in the end of the hall open. That door lead to the locker room of the sports hall. On the other side of the sports hall was an emergency exit.

"Of course!" She laughed. "Wait for me, guys!"
