Chapter 862
Dead Justice
Savannah was near the side door entrance of the casino. She played a slot machine out of necessity, not by choice. She felt she needed a reason to be there if she wasn't looking out of the window like the other people waiting there were. She didn't want to look at the unknown man directly and have him see her look at him. Her back was mostly to him. She needed to rely on John Henry to keep her updated as to what happened around her.
She didn't feel threatened directly, but if he was from the future, he might recognize her as 'Future Savannah'. He already looked at her a few times, but never for a long time all at once. It made her feel very uncomfortable whenever he did look at her. She thought he was a predator. She knew it was a very common occurrence in the future. She was aware Cammy and Gail dealt with two such individuals currently who were Grays. The ways of the future were very hard for those who returned to give up. They were used to taking what they wanted with no accountability.
Savannah could tell he paced back and forth behind her and off to the side of her slightly. His movements seemed very erratic. It wasn't done in the same rhythmic fashion a normal person would pace at. It seemed as if he was highly upset because of the delay of the vehicle to pick him up.
John Henry noted the highly irregular behavior as well. He wanted to make Savannah aware of his observation of the man if she hadn't already detected it herself. He was sure the man would be capable of irrational action if he were to 'snap'.
"Savannah, the man looks very agitated." John Henry said. "He seems to think his ride should have arrived by now. I don't know what their original plan was, but for whatever reason the driver of the blue sedan has taken a detour."
Savannah took a quick glance in his direction. She touched her Taser and Glock under her clothing. She was ready to use either one of them. Her original plan would have been to use her Taser. Based upon the man's irritating behavior, and the way he glanced at her several times, she decided she would use her Glock instead. It was clear he was someone who needed to be brought down.
"I feel a lot of negative energy." Savannah said. "I'm ready for him."
John didn't care for the way the events were unfolding. He didn't want Savannah to need to get 'her hands dirty' in a public place. He decided to word his statement carefully so Cameron wouldn't 'jump the gun' either.
"Just take it easy for now." John said. "Cameron is close by. I would prefer to have her interact with the individual rather than you."
Savannah decided if the man came anywhere near her, she was going to shoot him.
"If he approaches me, I'm going to bring him down." Savannah said. "It's just that simple."
John Henry's interpretation of the man's actions indicated the man wanted to flee the area he was at. He seemed to have reached a breaking point and he wanted to get away from where he was. He would most likely become very volatile if anyone were to confront him or challenge him at this point in time. He was sure it was because the two men were separated the way they were. More than likely the 'malfunctioning tram' only added to his anxiety.
"He's ready to run." John Henry said. "I'm sure he's highly unstable."
Savannah was aware the man who was supposed to pick him up was late based upon the original timeline she heard them discuss when she overheard their phone conversation. It appeared as if punctuality seemed to matter greatly to him. She was sure the delay of the tram leaving the station was a big factor in his current unstable status.
"I think it's because his ride has been delayed." Savannah said. "I know ours is to arrive soon after his does."
John Henry wanted to reassure them their transportation would arrive right after the unknown man departed with his associate. He already informed both Cameron and Savannah what vehicle Sheila would pick them up in.
"The blue sedan should be here soon for him." John Henry said. "Sheila will arrive shortly herself. She will provide the transportation for Cameron and you."
Savannah figured they would follow him, but the two unknown men's erratic behavior, and excessive amount of paranoia, would probably make the task rather difficult. She did know they would have three vehicles available to follow them. She wondered if they would need more. Cameron could acquire another one easily. She might need to drive herself in another vehicle. She was up to the task if it became necessary. With five vehicles, they could do quite a bit of 'leapfrogging'.
Cameron moved as close as she could and not be in the hallway for the side entrance. She played on a video poker machine to look like she was a patron. She wanted to make sure Savannah wasn't in any unnecessary danger.
The paranoid behavior of the man made Cameron want to terminate him as soon as possible. It bothered her greatly because he was in close proximity to Savannah. Maybe she should make herself known to him and see what happened. If he recognized her, she would become the target, not Savannah. Just to watch the man was incredibly irritating. She hoped she never acted in a similar manner as he did when she started to have a 'problem'. She actually hoped she didn't look the same way now as the man continued to further agitate her. She wanted to let the Control Center know what her new plan was.
"I'd like to terminate him now." Cameron said. "Things have gone on long enough. The man is a threat. His behavior is erratic. I don't intend to watch any more of it, especially in such close proximity to Savannah."
John knew they were just minutes away from the man being extracted by the other unknown individual in the blue sedan. They were going to go somewhere. He wanted to know where the 'somewhere' was. He figured there must be a 'pot of gold' at the end of the rainbow. It could be more of the unknown group, or even some version of Skynet. He didn't think the two men acted alone.
"We want to see where he goes or who he's connected to." John said. "We need to look at the bigger picture here. There's more to this story than we know so far."
Cameron was sure there was more to every story than they knew, even when they thought they knew it all. She figured she could hasten the process dramatically. All she needed was a little 'Terminator time' alone with him. She smiled to herself when she remembered Sheila was close by too. She knew between the two of them they could make them 'sing' soon. Of course the 'singing' would probably change to soprano rather quickly once Sheila started in on him. No. She could deal with them herself.
"I can beat it out of him." Cameron said. "It won't take long."
Cameron glanced down at her poker machine. It was up to several thousand dollars. She didn't even remember playing it. Her desire to terminate the man consumed most of what she currently thought about.
John continued to watch Cameron through the security monitors. The more he watched her, the more he could see her behavior start to become erratic itself. She really wanted to do something, which was to terminate the man, and she wasn't allowed to do it.
"Just relax, Cameron. This will all play out." John said. "I figured you would be in a better mood than this."
John's statement and attitude infuriated her further. She didn't need any outside agitation at this time. She didn't feel any threat to Savannah should be allowed to go on for this long without being addressed. She could be to the man in seconds and snap his neck like a rotten twig. In fact she would probably tear his head off in the process. If she was going to make a statement, she might as well make it a dramatic one. Right now it was John's comment which ate at her.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Cameron snapped.
It was because of what she was 'cheated out of' which made her upset. It was what didn't happen that bothered her. She was so close to be able to share with Savannah, and the moment was stripped away from her rather abruptly.
John could see anything he said was going to cause a problem with Cameron.
"Nothing…." John said. "I don't want to argue. It seems everything is going well for our team, even if there was a little uncertainty involved."
Cameron thought it was a smart choice for John to say he didn't want to argue, especially based on how she felt right now.
She became instantly alert. The man moved closer to Savannah. It was the last straw.
"The man is walking towards Savannah." Cameron said. "I'm going to take him down…."
Sheila was able to bring the Escalade she recently appropriated within visual range of the blue sedan. His driving behavior was very erratic.
She watched the blue sedan 'bolt'. He made an erratic high speed right turn.
Sheila made the turn one street in back of him to parallel him.
"I'll follow him one street over." Sheila said. "Keep me posted on where he goes next. I need to know the direction he turns."
John Henry was able to track the blue sedan through traffic cams.
"He just went past the street to enter the side entrance of the casino." John Henry said.
Sheila quickly went over the satellite image she had on file of the area. She deduced what his next move would be.
"He'll loop around and come in from the opposite direction." Sheila said. "It's an effective strategy."
John Henry watched him perform the maneuver on the traffic cams.
"He's turning left." John Henry said. "I think you're correct."
Since they were sure of the man's destination, Sheila thought she would take a shortcut to enter the casino parking area.
"I'm going to head for the side entrance directly." Sheila said. "I don't want to follow him in."
Sheila wondered what made these people so edgy and easy to spook. She really wanted some alone time with one or both of the men. She would know all of their secrets as they begged for death to end their misery. Of course she would need to remove something from their mouth first so they could actually speak. It would be something from another area. It was pretty much standard fare for her during an interrogation of a low life. Maybe the court system wouldn't hold the perpetrators responsible for their crimes. It was fine with her. She would do it.
When it came to the blokes from the future, it was usually no less involved. Where Cammy and Gail currently were was proof of it. The actions of the perpetrator determine their fate, not her. She merely carried out the sentence they gave themselves. Their own actions spoke volumes, very loudly.
Dan alighted from the SUV Frank drove earlier. He wanted to acquire an additional form of transportation. He originally went to select a sports car, but spotted a motorcycle. He could see it was a high end machine. He broke the lock on the motorcycle and was now on it. He didn't like the extended duration of the pursuit along with all of the 'hocus pocus' of the blue sedan.
"I'm moving through the alleys." Dan said. "I'll move past him to block his retreat to the east and south. If he tries to go in a different direction from the casino I'm going to bring him down. It seems things have gone on longer than they need to."
John needed to agree with his assessment. If there were any more delays, it was clear Cameron was going to terminate the man at the casino side entrance. He did need to worry if everything they experienced wasn't some elaborate plan to expose all of them. There was no evidence to indicate it, but it still seemed like it was a real possibility. He was pleased Dan obtained new transportation, he was a little concerned about where he obtained it from.
"It's good thinking." John said. "Where's the former rider of the motorcycle at?"
Dan realized John wanted to know if he terminated the owner of the motorcycle. He thought he would put his mind at ease. It was actually a question he couldn't answer.
"It's unknown." Dan said. "I didn't see where they were at when I borrowed the motorcycle. There was no one else around the specific area."
John understood the answer to mean there wasn't an unnecessary termination. He previously told the Terminators he didn't want any. He didn't think it was something which ever occurred by choice. There may be times when it was accidental, but he wasn't made aware of any. He actually believed if anyone were to violate the rule, it would probably be Cameron. Maybe she found some way to justify any extreme actions on her part. Based upon how muddy the water was with any individual's life, he didn't think it would be too hard to come up with something.
Frank parked the vehicle he was driving and acquired a new one. If the two men were going to prove as elusive as they did so far. He didn't even want them to think they saw his vehicle before, even if they didn't.
"I'm in position to intercept him from the north and west." Frank said. "I have new wheels as well."
John didn't want anyone to get ahead of themselves. They knew the exact location the driver of the blue sedan would go to. The process took a little bit longer than they thought it would due to the unknown man's paranoia. They still didn't know why the man took the unexplained detour at the last moment.
"Everyone sit tight." John said.
John Henry could now track the blue sedan through the casino's security cameras in the parking area. He saw Sheila's assessment was correct.
"He's entered the side parking lot of the casino now. He came in from the other direction." John Henry said. "Sheila called it."
Frank was nearby to begin the tail of the blue sedan once it left the casino. He knew they would have two other vehicles which the driver of the blue sedan shouldn't have spotted before. Cameron could always acquire a fourth vehicle if it was necessary.
"I'm ready." Frank said.
Cammy and Gail were ready to terminate the two Grays. They no longer provided any useful information. They heard plenty about their abusive exploits against females in the future as well as in the past, the present.
They took one more look around and moved the weapons they collected, to where the HK Track was at. They collected everything else of value from the building as well as from the men. They were ready to go. All they needed now was for the truck to arrive with one of the Resistance Terminators. They were informed one was on the way.
"How soon until we get a team with a truck here?" Cammy asked. "The interrogation is over. We're ready to move on."
John Henry checked on the progress of the other Resistance Terminators as they neared the Las Vegas area. Several of them were in close enough proximity to begin to assist the Metal girls. All of their arrival times were delayed because they needed to deal with the other captured HK equipment from the two boxcars. It took time to get it to a secure location for processing.
"Tom will arrive soon with a box truck he acquired." John Henry said. "He's been headed your way ever since we learned there was an HK Track delivered there."
Gail decided not to point out she wanted to make a move on the men inside of the building when the truck which brought it was there. They could have acted before it was even unloaded. They wouldn't have needed to acquire a box truck, they simply could have taken the one the Grays provided. All four Grays could have been questioned and terminated.
Cammy looked around the area one more time. The two men barely moved at this point as they slowly bled out. She hoped they didn't terminate before the grand finale. It would all depend upon when the box truck arrived and the HK Track was loaded.
"We have everything ready to go." Cammy said.
John hadn't been able to hear the interrogation in its entirety. It appeared CamNet blocked some things from the casino Control Center. It didn't take much imagination to know what those things were. He didn't want to make a big deal about it.
"Did you get a location on where the Terminator was?" John asked. "We missed some of the interrogation."
Cammy glanced over at Gail. They were both satisfied with the results of the interrogation.
"We got what we needed." Cammy said.
Gail wanted to let John know they were on it. She didn't want him or anyone else to ask about the interrogation.
"As soon as we get the truck loaded, we're headed there." Gail said. "We'll see what we come up with."
John was pleased to know it. He could hear a strange noise through the Metal girl's coms.
"What's the noise in the background?" John asked.
Cammy looked over at the two gagged figures on the ground. Their current level of suffering wasn't as great as it was about to be. She didn't see the need to bring it up.
"It's two Grays." Cammy said. "I don't think you want to know anymore."
Cammy looked over at the thrashing men. There still needed to be some more retribution. She didn't feel totally satisfied yet. A spectacular finish would liven things up some. She looked over at the SUV the men used to go to the rail yard. A smile slowly appeared on her face. It would be a spectacular finish.
Claire wasn't bothered by the fact Allison walked in and saw her and Jesse during their lovemaking. She was worried about Riley. She didn't know what was wrong, but something must be. She needed to get the Metal girls to plug in at the infirmary and to access the vast medical database. She thought it was something really amazing they could do.
She remembered when Precious was born, any of the Terminators who were plugged into the medical database became the most skilled and proficient doctors on the planet. They would have access to every known medical procedure ever performed. They may have lacked practical experience. What they didn't lack was skill and ability.
Claire hurried and arrived at Holly's room. She wasn't sure what to expect when the door opened.
She knocked.
There was no answer.
Claire thought maybe they were out. She tried the door handle. The door was open.
She slowly opened the door. The three Metal girls were all there 'together'.
Claire expected to see them naked sharing with each other. They weren't. She was surprised by it. She was even more surprised at what they were doing.
They were all still clothed and just 'standing' there.
Their eyes were open, but they didn't blink.
Claire thought they looked 'dead'. Their faces were devoid of all expression.
She was about to touch Hanna when she saw it. There were a series of cables which linked all three Metal girls together. She noted there were spots for additional Terminators to 'plug in'. It was very highly unusual to actually see it. She was aware sometimes Holly and Hanna would do it in the bunker when they shared sexually.
Hanna told her when they did, they could experience what each of them experienced at the same time. It basically doubled the pleasure and made everything more intense. It made her think of her recent encounter with Jesse. She would have liked to experience what both of them experienced at the same time if she could. She needed to refocus.
Claire felt it was the most intense form of sharing Terminators could experience, especially if they 'touched' each other. They didn't appear to have advanced too far along yet. It actually might be a good thing at this point. They would be able to respond to the infirmary quicker. She did know if they were naked, it wouldn't bother them in the slightest to go to the infirmary nude to work on Riley. She was sure it would lift Riley's spirits if it's how they were. She knew it would lift everyone's spirits.
"Hanna." Claire said. "I'm sorry to disturb you. Riley needs help."
Claire stepped back as the three Metal girls all blinked at the same time and started to move. Everything they did, they did the same. They all made the same movements at the same time.
"I'm sorry." Claire repeated. "Riley is at the infirmary, one of you needs to plug in to the medical database and check over her. I don't know what's wrong."
Hanna reached up to unplug from Holly and Cam.
Cam stopped her.
"We can all plug in together this way and give Riley better treatment." Cam said. "We will be like one individual with six hands and six eyes. We will be the ultimate doctor."
Claire seemed to remember there was some comic book and movie character who was a doctor with eight arms, or appendages. Maybe if they found one more Terminator, they could be like the doctor with eight appendages in the movies and comic books. She needed to refocus on the current task. She told them all she knew as they walked toward the infirmary.
It was very strange for Claire to see them all walk in the same step. It was like they were one unit, not three separate ones. She wondered what it would be like for all three of them to touch her at the same time. She was willing to find out.
They all entered the infirmary 'together'.
Allison watched Vanna nurse Precious and then switch breasts when she needed to. It was very beautiful to watch her long time lover look so content and happy. She could tell Vanna felt very special. She didn't think she ever saw Vanna so elated and happy more than a few times since they were together.
Vanna was happy. For once she didn't hate the fact she was born female. She was well aware being born female was a curse in the future. There were times she wished she would have been born a rat instead of a female, especially when the men got a hold of her….
Right now she wasn't worthless anymore. She finally found a sense of value with her female attributes. She didn't know if she could explain it to Allison or not.
"This is the most special moment in my life." Vanna said softly with tears in her eyes. "I can actually help someone with my body for once. I'm proud to be a female right now. It helps to make up for all the times I wished I wasn't."
Allison leaned down and gave Vanna a loving kiss. She really wanted to be able to give Vanna more moments like this if possible going forward. She knew it would help Vanna immensely, especially with her past. It wasn't something Vanna should feel responsible for. She didn't think anything could help Vanna with her past. She now saw there was a way to do it. It was all in a good way as well.
"I'll do whatever you want, Vanna." Allison said. "I can see how much this means to you. Seeing how much it means to you, means a lot to me as well."
Vanna understood it to mean Allison would keep trying until she actually had a baby they would share together. It was something she really wanted to happen. It was more so now than ever. She briefly toyed with the idea of talking to Savannah about herself. No. It wasn't something she ever wanted to do to Savannah.
"This is so beautiful, Allison." Vanna said. "I might need Jesse to take over soon. I don't think I'm going to have enough. I really wish we could have started this procedure earlier so I would be ready."
Allison felt a little guilty about it. Maybe she shouldn't have 'worked' Vanna so hard earlier. She also knew there might be an additional problem.
"Jesse might be low, or out right now…." Allison said. "I sort of walked in on them…."
Vanna smiled at Allison. She knew what it was like.
"We did it earlier too…." Vanna said. "It all helps in the long run. I know for sure I felt larger after we shared and I rested, than I did before we did anything. What you did, actually helped Precious right now."
Allison was told it was the way to increase production. They just hadn't anticipated Riley would dry up so fast. From what Riley indicated, instead of producing more, she continued to produce less as time went on. Vanna and Jesse reacted just the opposite of it. They reacted in the normal manner.
"It does stimulate production…." Allison said.
Vanna planned to have any female who was available work on her to get her production up. She wouldn't mind if it was Riley or Sarah. She would like it even more if it was Cameron who assisted her as well. She thought about it a little bit more. She would really like to give John a taste. She was sure it would lead to other things. She would really like to see John and Savannah together. No. She was thinking of herself again, and what she wanted. She couldn't do it to Savannah. She just couldn't.
Riley was surprised to see the three Metal girls walk in together and do everything the same. She then noticed they were all 'connected together'. She never saw any of them do it before, she only ever heard about it. She wondered how it would be to be connected to another individual the same way. She thought how beautiful it would be if she could be connected to Derek as they shared together. It would most certainly be a wonderful and beautiful experience to be able to experience two different types of feeling at the same time. Then again, they actually might be the same type of feeling, just arrived at with two different types of 'equipment'. How much different could the 'feeling' be?
Then again, she knew of the superiority of the female body to be able to experience multiple climaxes. Males finished once and were done. They also didn't seem to last very long either. Based upon all of her early encounters with males, she was actually glad for both of those things. They took what they wanted, it didn't take long, and then they were gone. The only thing left was the mess for her to deal with. Well, there was the intense soreness, and the bruises from the blows they delivered to her anyway, even when she submitted.
The Metal girls all greeted her at the same time. They all said the same things at the same time. Cam plugged a section of their cable into the computer interface.
Riley explained what she felt and her inability to lactate.
Claire watched as they asked questions while they checked Riley over.
Jesse watched the three Metal girls work as one. They actually would do different things and switch off. She noticed they gave Riley a very thorough physical 'inspection'. She was sure there was a little more to it than the medical need in some areas.
"I don't know if this is the Hottest thing I've seen them do, or the creepiest." Jesse said. "Either way, I'm in if they want a 'four way'."
Claire didn't even need to think about it. It was actually her same thought earlier when she first found them. She figured if it was going to be a group they might as well make it a full house.
"Let's make it a five way." Claire said. "I just want to be a part of it."
Claire hoped they could make it a six way and Vanna could get in on it with them too. If nothing else, she would be happy with a three way with Jesse and Vanna both. She also thought about what Jesse mentioned to Allison earlier. She was ready to give it a go as well.
Ally closed on the spot where the box truck she followed left the paved road and entered onto a dirt road. She didn't want to do anything to raise suspicion or be noticed. If they sent an HK drone, she didn't want to be the target of it. She was sure any vehicle which showed any interest in the Skynet related truck would become a target.
She kept driving at the same speed. She drove past where the box truck turned onto the dirt road. She did note it was a very well maintained dirt road.
In the distance she could see the dust cloud created by the box truck. Anyone else who followed them would create the same dust cloud and be spotted, unless they moved along very slowly. She wondered if it was the point of them taking the dirt road. Anyone who tried to tail them would give themselves away or need to travel so slowly they couldn't keep in contact. It would also make them a prime target for an HK drone if it were to appear.
John Henry was able to report some good news to Ally.
"The drones are about to enter the arena." John Henry said. "I mean our drones. We will be able to know what's happening all around you."
It was the news Ally wanted to hear.
"Have our drones spotted anything yet?" Ally asked.
John Henry hadn't detected anything so far with the drones as they approached the target area.
"I have one headed for the projected path of the box truck and one is almost to your location." John Henry said. "No hostile HK drones have been detected."
John wanted to help ease her mind. Nothing else was detected near her or around her.
"We haven't spotted anything else either." John said. "You don't have a tail."
Ally wanted to know if the box truck was in communication with where they were headed. It might give them a heads up as to the destination.
"Have they communicated with anyone?" Ally asked.
John Henry was all over the communications in the area.
"There hasn't been anything I've been able to detect." John Henry said.
Ally gave it some thought as she drove. She began to wonder if they weren't on a wild goose chase.
"Where does the dirt road lead to?" Ally asked. "I bet it ends back up at the railroad tracks, or a spur track of some kind. There might be other dirt roads which cross it. They could do the same thing."
John Henry reviewed several satellite images. It was exactly what Ally indicated. It was something he viewed earlier. He believed he knew the area to look specifically now
"It does." John Henry said. "It all happens north of the city."
Ally thought she could make better time on the paved roads. It would certainly be less abusive on the vehicle.
"How long will it take me to get there if I continue to stay on this road and then backtrack at the next paved intersection which goes in the direction I need to go?" Ally asked.
John Henry ran a few calculations and looked over the drone images.
"If you speed some more, and they stay at the same speed, you can actually get there before them." John Henry said. "They've slowed down. The dirt road isn't as well maintained where they are now."
John didn't want anybody to forget some important facts.
"We all need to remember there are Terminators involved in the operation as well. We also don't know for sure what the final destination is for sure." John said. "I'm looking at a drone image of your vehicle now, Ally."
Ally was in a relatively playful mood. She felt a little more secure with some drone backup. The enemy was actually moving away from her at a right angle on a dirt road. They didn't pose any type of immediate threat.
"It was really thoughtful of John to remind me." Ally said. "Can you zoom in on my driver's side window?"
John Henry zoomed in with the drone's camera as Ally requested.
"Yes." John Henry said. "You now fill the entire screen."
As John and John Henry watched, Ally lifted up the side of her top and 'flashed' both of them.
"Sheila is a bad influence on her." John Henry whispered to John.
John thought about how they looked exactly like Cameron's breasts. They did share the same DNA after all. It at least added a little 'fun' to the roundabout chase they were on.
"We'll keep an eye on you on your longer route." John Henry said.
Ally let her top go back down.
"I can always flash you again when you feel bored." Ally said.
John actually liked the idea. He wanted to throw something out there and hoped it would produce a little more action.
"I get bored easily and feel bored a lot." John said.
Ally thought of one way to accommodate them.
"I can drive topless like Sheila has." Ally said.
John didn't want to create any incidents or have the authorities involved.
"Let's not get pulled over or arrested." John said.
Ally really wasn't worried about it at all.
"I'll do it just for you anyway." Ally said.
John really didn't think it would hurt to look.
Closing monologue by Cameron:
Menagerie Of Madness
In beauty there is no truth
In truth there is no beauty
The slog through time is slow
As everyone does their duty
Everything around one
Can change in an instant
Even if one is persistent
Things can become distant
Is not to have
Really to want more
One may end up to abhor
When the goal was to adore
In anyone's tiny universe
Are they ever truly the master
As things happen faster and faster
The end result will surely be disaster
Events and time change people
What was once shared gladness
Soon fades and evaporates into sadness
Leaving behind a menagerie of madness
Nobody
