Chapter 890
Stop Looking At Me
John Henry started to wonder if Sheila was having some kind of a problem. She was almost in two separate accidents within a few minutes. He began replaying his files of her physical condition when she was naked and in her bikini. She seemed undamaged. He decided to zoom in on the images he possessed. He became fixated with what he was able to view, especially on the close ups.
It was a mistake. Now John Henry began to replay the files of all of the girls, naked and in their bikinis. He remembered back when he was in 'Jim's chassis', how it fascinated him to watch Cameron and Vanna in the lab. He also remembered the 'reaction' it caused. It seemed he experienced the same 'reaction' now as he reviewed the files.
It was very disturbing, yet somehow satisfying.
He began to zoom in on certain areas of each of their sheaths.
He was pleased to see when he looked at Sheila to see she made sure 'everything' was available. It appeared she made sure 'everything' was available when he looked at her earlier. He always thought there was 'a lot going on down there' with females. Sheila certainly confirmed it for him.
John Henry knew he needed to follow up on any of the leads which developed from either the location the Fanatics were located, or the warehouse with Grays they took down. Any of the phones which were undamaged were sent along with the captured equipment. He was sure they would identify more than one location related to either one of the groups.
He still couldn't help but to review the images of the girls. He thought Savannah might be a little more uneasy being unclothed. He figured it was because she was in the company of a group of female Terminators. There was nothing for her to worry about.
Cammy and Ally were both clearly worried about Sheila. Her behavior was slightly off and her two near accidents only a few minutes apart didn't help with their concerns. For any of them to walk in front of a moving vehicle, or into a fixed object, indicated some type of a problem.
Sheila didn't like all the attention everyone seemed to have for her. Everything felt 'normal' to her. It seemed like a big deal about nothing. She wanted everyone to move on with their own business and not worry about her.
It actually upset her they dwelt on her. She tried to brush it off and wasn't going to say anything at first. She could see they both continued to 'watch' her, even if they didn't directly 'watch' her. She didn't need a babysitter.
"I want everyone to stop looking at me." Sheila said. "I'm fine."
Cammy wasn't sold yet on her assessment. She didn't want to make a big deal about it. She would like to speak to Sheila alone.
"Ally, go scope everything out for us in the casino and report back here." Cammy said. "I want to make sure we don't run into any trouble once we arrive. If you don't like the way things look, we can move on to the next casino. There are many to choose from. Remember, we're not looking for trouble."
Cammy was aware they didn't need to look for trouble to find it. Somehow it seemed to have a way of finding them.
Ally looked at both of them and left. She knew Cammy wanted her away for a few minutes. Maybe if it was Cammy and Sheila alone, there might be some more information forthcoming. It might turn into some type of an argument as well. It seemed like it was a good idea not to get involved at this juncture.
"I'm on it." Ally said and left.
Cammy came over to Sheila and gave her a hug. She wanted Sheila to open up to her. She backed up a little and looked at Sheila with genuine concern. She hoped their eight years together meant something to Sheila at a time like this. It did to her.
"Please. It's just us." Cammy said. "Are you really OK? It seems something is 'off'. I'm worried about you."
Sheila could see the love in Cammy's concern for her. She tried to be honest with Cammy. She already started to run several diagnostics after the incident in the middle of the street. So far nothing out of the ordinary turned up. It was all a little confusing to her after the second incident.
"Thanks, Cammy, I don't know what to say." Sheila said. "I think I'm fine. I don't know if anything is wrong with me. I would tell you now if I did."
Cammy touched her hand to Sheila's cheek. It was like what Savannah often did to her. It was a simple act which showed closeness and concern. It established a 'connection'.
"You know I care." Cammy said. "We all need to look out for each other. I feel a greater need to look out for you personally. You know why."
Sheila reached up and pressed Cammy's hand to her cheek as she gently squeezed Cammy's hand. It was an act to show the unspoken love was acknowledged and returned in the same way.
"I do know, love." Sheila said. "I do understand the concern."
Cammy paused and looked deeply into Sheila's eyes. She wondered if Sheila was damaged in the blast when the 'day care' center exploded. She was covered with blocks from a block wall. Sheila was behind a brick wall which was destroyed. It was a real possibility more may have happened to Sheila than she realized at the time. It was a very large explosion.
"Were you hit by any debris?" Cammy asked. "Maybe you received a blow to the head or something. Didn't bricks fall on you?"
Sheila recollected a number of objects falling on her or hitting her.
"There was a lot of debris." Sheila said. "I think we all were hit by things landing on us.
Seconds ago:
Ally couldn't help but feel she was 'sent away'. Maybe it wasn't the same thing, but it felt like it anyway. She did understand the need to check things out, especially with Sheila not at a hundred percent.
Because of the late hour the casino wasn't packed like it would be earlier in the evening. The people who were there now were usually the hardcore, of the hardcore. There was a lot of alcohol and tobacco being consumed and used in every area, even the areas designated as 'No Smoking'. She took a moment to look at the hallowed eye individuals. She wondered what kind of a mess all of their lives were in.
There was something about the look of the area she didn't really care for. She couldn't really place it as to anything specific. Maybe it was the overall look of the casino itself. It wasn't quite up to the same standards as the one they left across the street.
She saw there was plenty of gaming available of all types, including card games. She decided to head back and fill the girls in. She was still a little miffed about being excluded earlier.
Ally made a point to let them know she was about to return. She wanted to give them time to finish up what they wanted to discuss in private.
"It's all good." Ally called out from the distance as she approached them. "It's just like every other money absorbing joint in the city."
Ally saw Cammy's hand on Sheila's cheek and Sheila's hand pressed against Cammy's. She knew they were 'sharing a private moment'.
She felt a little jealous, but all the girls shared. Cammy and Sheila shared exclusively for eight years in the past. It meant a lot happened. She needed to remind herself it was understandable. Any of them would seek comfort with each other being alone together for such an extended period of time. She really wondered if it would have been a male and female Terminator who were alone as long together as to what would have actually happened. She was sure at some point it would lead to some type of sexual relations.
Cameron specifically forbade the female Terminators from relations with males of any type. It didn't matter if they were humans or cyborgs. The only male they were allowed to be with was John, at least for their first experience. It was unclear what would happen after they were 'popped' by John. She could verify there was nothing to 'pop' on any of them. There were a lot of things which went on down there during the times of sharing. It would still be their 'first' experience though.
Ally needed to clear her mind. Sheila was the issue now, not 'what ifs'.
Sheila saw Ally nearing them. She looked into Cammy's eyes.
"I'm good, Cammy." Sheila whispered. "I'll say something if I think I'm going 'bad'. I don't want to cause a problem for anyone, especially myself."
She was well aware of the difficulties Cameron experienced. She didn't look forward for it to happen to her. If she thought she was going to malfunction she would tell Cammy or Ally right away.
She was a little worried she might think she was 'Jesse'. Jesse was capable of every violent act she was capable of. It's where she learned them in the first place through the 'Neural Interface'. She knew as 'Jesse' she wouldn't put up with any trouble from anyone.
Sheila took a moment to look around where she was at. Did it have something to do with the location she was in? Somehow it seemed like it may be a factor, even if she couldn't place it on anything specific. It was just something which popped into her head. Maybe if something more came to her, she would tell Cammy right away. It might have something to do with the past.
Cammy was more than a little worried now about Sheila's statement she thought it was possible for her to go 'bad'. She knew reprogrammed Terminators were known for it in the future. Sometimes they just went bad, nobody knew why. She would really need to keep an eye on Sheila. She wondered how much damage a single Terminator could do if they went bad. They currently didn't carry any weapons on them. There were no firearms, there were no Tasers, and no one carried a knife to remove a chip. Ally and her could try to restrain Sheila, but it would be very hard to do because there was no way for them to deactivate her. There was bound to be a lot of collateral damage. There was also bound to be a lot of witnesses.
Ally gave her report to both of them and they headed toward the casino entrance.
When they neared the open door of the casino they were confronted with thousands of flashing lights, ringing bells and machines making different tones and sounds. It was enough to get anyone's attention. It was the whole point. The goal was to draw the people in to play.
Cammy watched as Sheila's face lit up. It was almost like someone flipped a switch. She thought Sheila looked like a kid in a candy store. She certainly looked a lot better than she did a minute ago. Maybe all she needed was to get back into the game, quite literally.
Sheila pulled away from them. She looked excited to get in the casino and start winning.
Ally noticed the same thing Cammy did. She thought maybe they needed to stay close to Sheila for a while.
"Hey, wait for us." Ally called out as Sheila hurried inside.
Sheila didn't look back and kept going.
Ally was about to hurry after her.
Cammy took Ally's arm and held her back. She didn't want it to seem like they were about to baby sit Sheila. They actually were, but she thought they should do it with some tact and a little distance. She knew it would agitate Sheila if she knew she was being watched.
"Ease up. We'll keep a close eye on her." Cammy said. "I'm worried about her."
Ally looked away from Cammy at Sheila's moving figure.
"I can see you are." Ally said. "Is she going 'bad'?"
Cammy felt a glitch impulse shoot through her left arm with Ally's question. She didn't want Sheila to be deactivated. She was glad there was a copy of her program on CamNet's server. There could still be something wrong with the chip itself. A new chip with her program reinstalled on it should put Sheila back who she was. She might have a few days of missing time. It was OK as long as Sheila still possessed the eight years they were together in the past. It was all she really cared about. She felt it was a very important time in her existence. She knew it was in Sheila's as well.
"I don't know." Cammy said. "I hope not. I don't know if she was damaged in the explosion in some way, even if it wasn't external in nature."
Ally wondered about the explosion herself. She checked out Sheila when she took her clothes off in the SUV. She took every opportunity she could to view Sheila naked. It always excited her to see Sheila nude. She never could get enough, even if Sheila and her were the two who shared the most often.
"Was she damaged?" Ally asked. "I didn't see any damage when we were naked."
Cammy was worried shrapnel may have hit Sheila. It would take more than a falling brick to knock her out of kilter.
"I don't know." Cammy said. "Maybe she took a blow to the head we can't see."
Cammy and Ally hurried to catch up to Sheila.
"OK, I'll watch her." Ally said. "I can see you're worried."
Cammy looked over at Ally when she spoke.
"I am…." Cammy said.
Ally could see the love on Cammy's face along with the concern for Sheila. She understood it completely.
"I love her too, Cammy." Ally said.
The two Metal girls shared a moment of understanding. They were both a little jealous of each other, but maybe it was a good thing in this case. They both cared about Sheila and would watch over her.
They entered the casino and started to look for Sheila.
They didn't see where she went inside.
Ally looked all around the casino floor after they entered.
"That's just great." Ally said. "She's already gone."
Cammy briefly wondered if maybe Sheila ditched them. She knew there were a lot of security cameras around. If she couldn't spot Sheila very quickly, she was going to need to ask John Henry, or even CamNet, where Sheila was at, or where she went.
She took a brief moment to look around her. There was something about the atmosphere they were in which troubled her. It wasn't so much so at the casino hotel they left from across the street. It seemed to be the place where they were.
Savannah was out of the bedroom, in the main room of the Master Suite. She noticed right away one of the food carts was missing.
"Where's the other food cart?" Savannah asked.
Gail knew where it went. She was able to identify who it was when they entered the room earlier. She determined it wasn't a threat to them so she didn't respond. She was in the middle of sharing love with Savannah and didn't want it disturbed.
"Cameron and John took it away as well as the case with Cameron's clothes." Gail said. "They didn't stay long."
Savannah was a little worried two individuals were able to enter the area where she was at and she didn't know. It was the least of her worries. They more than likely heard what was going on when they entered the room. Now she wondered if anyone snuck a peek at them.
"I didn't hear them." Savannah said. "They must have known what we were doing."
Gail didn't think it was anything different than all of them did.
"Is it a problem?" Gail asked.
Savannah still wondered if anyone snuck a peek at them. If they did, they did. She didn't think Cameron would violate her privacy. She was pretty sure Cameron already viewed her with different females in the past, and in different futures. She knew it was more out of curiosity than anything. She figured it was because Cameron wanted to see how it was going to be when they were together.
Cameron never said anything to her or indicated she wasn't allowed to be with others. If anything, it was just the opposite. Cameron encouraged her to share as much as possible with as many different people as possible and as often as possible. Cameron told her she wanted her to experience as much love as possible. She thought she did a pretty good job of doing so.
"No, it isn't a problem." Savannah said. "I'm allowed to choose my partners. We all are. There are no restrictions within our group."
Gail still felt Savannah was a little concerned as to exactly what happened. She could give her a little insight into what it was.
"Only Cameron came all the way in. She made John wait outside. She had him push the other food cart." Gail said. "He thought you were asleep."
Savannah still felt a little troubled by it. Maybe because John was there is what made her worry.
"I can be with who I want." Savannah said. "Cameron has encouraged me to do so."
Gail looked over and scanned the food. She was very displeased at what she viewed.
"Let me order some fresh food for you." Gail said. "Everything here is stone cold."
Savannah could see there were several items which didn't need to be warm. She wasn't about to waste the food. It made her think about what she saw in the future and what she viewed in some of the homeless camps. It still bothered her because of what some of the females, and even some of the young males, needed to do in order to get a few bites of food to eat. It seemed survival came with a high price. It also appeared nature provided a way to allow those who chose to use their assets to survive. Maybe it was really no different than the way it was in caveman times.
"No, it's fine." Savannah said. "I don't like to waste food. I know what people were forced to eat in the future. I can still eat most of everything here. There's way more than I can eat already. I think there's enough here for about six people. I can't imagine how much there would have been with both of the food carts. It's a good thing Cameron asked John to take one."
Gail could see the genuine concern on Savannah's face when she spoke.
"You always think of others." Gail said.
There were times when Savannah felt the full impact of what her future held. She really wondered if she would be able to do everything she was supposed to do in the future. She hoped a Skynet future never happened. She didn't want to find out the hard way if she would fold or be able to play her hand.
"I try, Gail." Savannah said. "Sometimes I feel the weight of it all, but I try to drive on through it."
Gail didn't think Savannah needed to worry about it now.
"I don't think you need to cross the bridge until you get to it." Gail said.
Savannah knew Gail was right, but she still felt the pressure of what was expected from her. It was the pressure of doing what she was supposed to do for the future. It was what she needed to do for Cameron and John. She was a 'prisoner' of the 'Natural Order' and she knew what her duties and obligations were. She also needed to worry about Young Allison. She did look forward to it, even if there wasn't a Skynet future.
Gail could see the far off look in Savannah's eyes. She didn't want her to feel troubled right now, especially after what they just did.
"I can help you." Gail said. "I'll help you."
Savannah could tell Gail was willing to go all in for her. As she remembered her obligations she also wanted Gail to think of her commitments.
"What about Jesse?" Savannah asked. "I don't want to mess things up. You know I have 'obligations'. I care very much about every version of Jesse. I'm not going to hurt any of them."
Gail didn't want to think about it right now. She wanted to congratulate Savannah on what was about to happen.
"I do understand your obligations. It's a big responsibility." Gail said. "I appreciate you spending part of your Honeymoon with me before your marriage."
Savannah put down what she was about to eat. The revelation was a mild shock to her. She wondered where the statement came from. She was very confused. She wondered if she missed something.
"What?" Savannah asked. "Marriage…?"
Gail thought it was obvious.
"It's why you are here." Gail said. "You're to be married."
Savannah really didn't know where to go with the statement. It was still very confusing to her. It seemed like there was a lot of vital Information missing. A marriage took two people.
"To whom…?" Savannah asked. "Who am I supposed to get married to?"
Gail wondered why Savannah seemed a little confused. Everyone understood the 'Natural Order' and it couldn't be changed.
"It will be Cameron or John. Maybe it will be both of them." Gail said. "It will be a very exciting time for you."
Savannah wondered when this was all planned or discussed. Right now she didn't feel excited about anything.
"Did they mention it?" Savannah asked. "Did anyone actually say something about it?"
Gail tilted her head slightly. She simply put the pieces together once she saw the actors were going to be in Las Vegas.
"Nobody said it." Gail said. "I just know."
Gail filled Savannah in on the details of what she knew and how.
Savannah could see how Gail arrived at her conclusion. The evidence seemed to point exactly to what Gail indicated. There really wasn't any other way to view it.
"Really…." Savannah said.
Gail looked a little worried now. Maybe she overstepped her bounds or revealed something which was supposed to be a surprise. She thought maybe she would be punished for it.
"Will I be deactivated for telling you this?" Gail asked.
Gail was now clearly concerned.
Savannah gave Gail a kiss on the cheek. She didn't want to see any Terminator deactivated. She certainly didn't want to see Gail be deactivated.
"No." Savannah said. "It will be our secret. Thank you for telling me. I'll protect you. You have nothing to worry about."
Savannah could see why Cameron didn't like surprises. In this instance she didn't either. She ate a little more and pushed the food cart outside the room. The latest 'news' seemed to take away her appetite. She would have liked to have been a part of the discussion if there was one. Maybe there wasn't a discussion and it was just assumed she would do what she was supposed to do in the future. The difference was, it wasn't the future yet.
She used the restroom. There were complimentary toothbrushes, so she used one. She thought it was a nice touch. Good hygiene was important, especially in the future.
When she returned, Gail looked very uneasy now.
Savannah took her hand and led her back into the bedroom. It was clear Gail needed more than words to comfort her.
"Are you ready for another round?" Savannah asked.
Gail's eyes widened with anticipation. She also needed to think about Savannah's needs.
"I am, but are you?" Gail asked.
Savannah wanted the comfort of another individual.
"I want you to hold me." Savannah said.
Gail was more than a little worried about Savannah's sudden change in the way she looked.
"I will if you sleep." Gail said. "I want you to rest. You look ill."
Savannah was still a little confused by it all. It was all sort of a mind blowing adventure about to play out.
"I didn't know I was getting married today, or tomorrow, or whenever it is." Savannah said. "Or to whom…."
It was all a 'shock' to Savannah. It was a 'Future Shock'.
She didn't want to be told she needed to marry someone.
Nobody even asked her yet.
Sheila was a little worried now. Was there something wrong with her? She turned around. Cammy and Ally were nowhere to be seen. She realized she hurried away from them just a few seconds ago. There was someone talking to her now. She wondered where they came from and how long they were there.
Cammy and Ally entered the casino and looked around, they both spotted Sheila after a few seconds. They were really worried when they couldn't spot her right away. There was a man talking to her. They quickly headed in her direction. It looked like trouble brewing. They were both pretty sure in Sheila's current condition if the man overstepped the bounds of decency, Sheila may snap his neck. She actually might use her Terminator strength and rip something off of his body first. It wouldn't be the first time. It wouldn't be the last either.
"What?" Sheila asked the man.
The man moved a little closer to Sheila
"I said, 'You have a very nice looking outfit'." The man said.
Sheila remembered her earlier desire to remove it in the other Casino before Cammy put her foot down.
"Thanks." Sheila said. "You should see me without it."
The man swallowed hard.
"I'd like to." The man said.
It was clear it was what the man thought about the moment he laid eyes on her.
Ally decided to move in and nip things in the bud. She wanted to avoid any type of an altercation.
"What is going on here?" Ally asked.
The man looked Ally up and down, twice.
Cammy was back a little bit. She watched him and was irritated at what he just did. He just 'saw' Ally and Sheila 'naked' in his mind. She wanted to call the man out for what he was. She knew she should use a little restraint, but she couldn't help herself right now. She quickly walked up to the man and put herself between Sheila and Ally.
"Here…." Cammy said. "You can see more of her now, there are two of us."
The man quickly looked at Cammy but didn't ogle her. The look on her face was very hostile. He knew she saw what he did to both of them and didn't like it.
Ally could see Cammy was close to taking some 'punitive action' against the man. She wanted to diffuse the situation and get everybody on the same page.
"She belongs to me." Ally said as she kissed Sheila. "You don't have the right 'equipment'."
The man quickly understood what it meant. He was also worried about the other female who looked like she wanted to kill him. She looked like the younger sister of the girl who just spoke.
"I'm sorry." The man said and quickly departed.
He might be able to 'roofie' one of them, but he doubted it could be all three. He looked back a few times as he hurried away. He was worried the younger sister would cause a scene or worse.
Cammy didn't like it. It was clear she was very upset.
Ally wondered if she was the only one who didn't seem 'out of it'. She wanted to see how far Cammy was willing to go.
"Do you want me to terminate him?" Ally asked.
Cammy tilted her head slightly. She considered the idea for a few seconds.
"I do, but not yet." Cammy said. "Maybe later you can, or I'll do it myself. A less public location would be better. It would be easier to dispose of the body."
Ally was only joking.
It was clear Cammy wasn't.
John waited for the length of time Cameron asked for. He knew she could be ready faster than in ten minutes. Maybe she was doing something special. Maybe she didn't want to hurry for once.
He entered the bedroom and looked at the heart shaped bed. A few hours ago he almost shared sex with Cammy on it. He thought Cameron and Savannah were 'together' on the same bed. Cameron said they didn't actually do anything. He headed for the dressing room door. He stood outside the closed door and waited. After a few seconds he softly knocked.
He wasn't sure where things were going or who even would be on the other side of the door. He didn't think anyone else was in the Honeymoon Suite, but he wouldn't put anything past Cameron.
He briefly thought it could be Savannah. Suddenly a new thought popped into his mind. What if it was Young Allison? He couldn't help but lightly moisten his lips in anticipation.
If Cameron put her there, and Young Allison wanted to try it, he was going to go for it. He already decided he wasn't going to turn her down if she was ever in his bed by her own choice. He was more than ready to take her virginity.
Cameron looked in the mirror. She looked Tight. She looked exactly like she wanted to look. It was how she looked on a very special day in her existence. Every detail was identical as it was on the day so long ago. Sometimes the day seemed like it was yesterday. There were other times when it seemed like it was so long ago, it may not have even ever happened. She knew it did.
She heard John enter the bedroom. He stood on the other side of the door. She wondered how long he was going to stand there. Maybe he tried to build up a little nerve. She really wondered what happened earlier with Cammy.
A soft knock was heard.
Cameron smiled.
She opened the door slowly.
John softly knocked and waited.
He watched the door slowly open.
Cameron stood there, she looked beautiful, she looked stunning and she looked Tight.
John's eyes widened as his heartbeat increased. He was instantly captivated.
Cameron wore her wedding dress. She looked absolutely perfect.
John swallowed hard before he was able to speak.
"You look very pretty, Cameron." John said. "You're more than beautiful."
Those were the words Cameron wanted to hear. She felt she needed to reciprocate.
"Thank you." Cameron said. "You look very handsome."
John looked down at himself. He wasn't so sure about it. All he wore was a bathrobe. He did note it was a very nice bathrobe.
Cameron reached out and pulled John slowly into the dressing room.
They stared into each other's eyes.
"Well?" Cameron asked.
It was clear to John what Cameron wanted.
"Our wedding night again…." John said.
Cameron slowly waved her hand from her head down the length of her body.
"I wouldn't have it any other way." Cameron said. "I am dressed for the occasion."
John always liked the way Cameron's wedding dress accentuated her shapely figure.
"Your dress fits perfectly." John said.
Cameron remembered the time she asked the hall monitor in school if she looked fat. He said she was 'still good'. She knew it should apply to the current situation, since she was identical now as she was then.
She knew Vanna and Allison picked the dress out for her. It was how they were able to get the exact size and look they wanted for her.
"Allison, picked it out and made sure it was the correct size." Cameron said. "I haven't changed at all."
Cameron was aware a lot of her sheath was replaced or regenerated since then. Savannah made sure her only undamaged 'section' remained intact on her through 'temporal management'. It was the one area she was glad she still possessed from her creation. It was her most special area. Right now the special area was all for John.
John moved to pick up Cameron.
"You know I'm heavier than I look." Cameron said.
"I only have a few steps." John said.
John picked her up and carried her through the doorway.
Cameron pushed the door closed as they headed toward the bed.
John carried her to the bed and set her down.
They stood facing each other.
"All my programming is off, John. This is just you and me now."
"Cameron, I've waited so long for this moment."
"As have I, John."
"I love you, Cameron, and you love me."
"I love you, John, and you love me."
They kissed.
John slipped Cameron out of her dress.
Cameron removed John's bathrobe.
It was all either one of them wore, they were both naked.
"I'm ready, John, make me a woman."
Cameron opened the covers on the bed.
They embraced and slowly climbed into the bed….
Closing monologue by Cameron:
Stop Looking At Me
Everyone sees what they want to see
They all hear what they want to hear
Some they will hold dear
Others seem they want to disappear
It's never about the other
It's always about the self
When one becomes problematic
They end up on a shelf
It's supposed to be
About give and take
It doesn't work out well
When one is a fake
Everyone be warned and heed
What they see isn't what they get
Sometimes when it's over
It hasn't even really begun yet
When one person looks at another
What is it they see
If they can't really see who I am
Then stop looking at me
Nobody
