Chapter 892

We'll See

John Henry decided he would keep watch over Cammy, Ally, and Sheila as they visited another casino. He was a little worried about Sheila because of her earlier trouble. She almost was in two avoidable accidents within a few minutes. They were currently inside the casino across the street. He was afraid they might overdo it and create an incident. They weren't in the casino long before things began to happen. It looked like there was a problem to him. It was what he feared. There was an incident with an unknown individual which could have escalated, but didn't.

The girls got down to business. They started to win and win big. It was evident the casino management was very displeased. The Metal girls seemed to have been 'noticed' and singled out.

What was most disturbing about the casino the girls currently were in was it looked like a Syndicate run operation. The Syndicate was behind most of the casinos, but stayed in the background in many of them through puppets and surrogates. The establishment the Metal girls were in didn't make much effort to disguise who the true bosses were. He was sure it was because it was one of the long time casinos in Las Vegas. Its roots went all the way back to the beginning, even if the name of the establishment may have changed along with the location.

He watched as the casino security system tried to 'check' on the three Metal girls. Before he could even act, CamNet 'cleared' all three of them. He wasn't surprised CamNet was all over the Metal girls as well. The actual search never left the casino's computer. It was erased as soon as they received the answer the Metal girls were 'good'.

It went smoother than he anticipated. Now all they needed to do was stay off the casino's radar. It didn't look like it was something they were going to do.

They already won several hundred thousand dollars each, all three of them. It wasn't long before they were ready to pack up and go to the next establishment. It looked like there was going to be some difficulty to leave. They flashed their 'all access pass' to clear the paperwork and 'tax forms' to get the cash and leave with it. It looked like there was some trouble over them getting the actual cash. The casino didn't want to part with any of its 'hard earned' money. CamNet intervened again and 'cleared' it.

John Henry could see the casino managers frantically talking on their phones. He was sure it was going to brew some type of trouble. He wanted to nip things in the bud before they got carried away. This time he acted before CamNet with his own idea. Their worrisome phone calls ended fast when he 'killed' their systems and put a jamming field into place around them. He suspected they were up to no good. The Syndicate didn't like to lose, and lose big.

He knew the casino management tried to reach someone they called 'The Enforcer'. It sounded like big trouble. He was sure he blocked all their immediate efforts. He saw the fact they were being blocked seemed to cause them additional concern. He thought it was unusual for a Syndicate operation to be worried about it. Now he needed to worry about what they were worried about. He hoped it wasn't him. He would have been able to do the things he normally did from the comfort of the Resistance Command Center with much less effort. The current casino Control Center left quite a bit to be desired.

John Henry tried to reach the Metal girls. He wanted to warn them to watch out. He was sure there was about to be some type of corrective or punitive action on the part of the casino management due to the big loss of cash they just experienced.

The Metal girls still didn't answer.

He was aware none of them carried their phones or any weapons. They only each wore their com. He began to wonder if it was more than just them having switched them off. He was unable to contact them since they left the casino below the hotel he was in. He was concerned there was more in play than any of them anticipated. There was no doubt the Syndicate was involved. What was in question was, who was the Syndicate in bed with.

Earlier:

Cammy, Sheila, and Ally didn't like the look of the establishment they were in. They decided they wanted to make a statement. They won and won big. They weren't supposed to be competing against each other, but they were. Each one wanted to win the most. They 'played the game', and lost every now and then. They couldn't win all the time without being hassled in some way. When it looked like the Pit Boss started to get worried, they would lose and maybe sometimes lose big. It seemed to calm the dogs. The casino was certain it would get all of its money back. It always did anyway in the end. They knew every fool played until all of their money was gone. They expected the same thing to happen with the Metal girls.

Because of all the increased scrutiny and dirty looks, it made all three girls want to win big before they left. They wanted to rub it in the casino's face. They were sure it was a Syndicate run operation so they didn't mind making a 'statement'. The Syndicate to them was no different than the local drug or sex trafficking operations they took down in their area whenever they popped up. The only difference was, the Syndicate was organized and worldwide in the scope of its operations. The biggest threat to the Syndicate was the Cartels.

Cammy and Sheila were especially irritated with the individuals they spotted around the gambling room floor. They didn't like the looks they got from them. They made sure each of the people watching them knew they were being watched by them. It was a way to further irritate them. They knew it could spark a physical confrontation at some point, but it seemed highly unlikely in front of a lot of witnesses. It wouldn't end well for anyone who threatened them, or touched them.

The Metal girls decided it was time to move on. They wanted to make a point. They all started to win and win big. There were no more 'losses'. There was only win after win.

They already won several hundred thousand dollars each. They didn't want to overdo it too much. They wanted to visit some additional casinos and do the same things there. They toyed around with the idea of being able to deposit a million dollars in cash at the local Battered Women's Shelter. The actual money made no difference to them one way or the other. There were literally storerooms full of cash at both the Resistance base and at Cameron's base.

CamNet controlled access to billions of dollars through the banking system and anything over the internet. She could add zeros to any account, or remove them just as easily. She could erase an account and make it appear as if it never existed. Money was never an issue for them other than to take it from those who obtained it illegally. The loss of the money was what hurt those organizations the most. It was what they lived for. They were more than happy to make them die for it as well.

They quickly found out every one of those organizations and endeavors, regardless of the size of it, worshiped money over the lives of those who worked for the organization. The people who served them were meaningless to them. It was all about the money. Nothing else mattered. It appeared their greed knew no bounds. They were more than willing to make them bleed. The color of the blood wasn't red, it was green.

All three of them wrapped it up at the same time. They all doubled their money in the last few minutes. They really didn't think they overdid anything. They didn't go after millions of dollars in funds. It was only about three hundred thousand each. It was really a drop in the bucket. The casino probably took as much cash in every few minutes from their combined gambling proceeds.

They decided to 'cash out'.

It seemed to cause a mini panic. It appeared several delay tactics were employed against them to keep them there in the casino. It was very evident the casino management didn't want them to leave their establishment with all of the cash. The casino wasn't in the business of 'losing' cash. They were in the business of taking it through whatever means were necessary.

At one point the casino manager claimed they didn't have any cash on hand. They attempted to indicate it was all locked up in the 'strong room' with a time lock on the vault door. They flashed their 'all access' passes and reluctantly were 'cleared' to receive the cash they 'won'.

Even with their 'all access pass', CamNet needed to intervene and give 'approval' for the girls to be given the cash in the first place. The casino manager couldn't believe it, but they were cleared by his computer system. He checked out the approval to pay out the cash twice. It was something which never happened before during his tenure as manager. Nobody left the casino with as much cash on them.

It seemed there were hard feelings to go all around. The Metal girls decided to head out. The atmosphere was very hostile towards them by all of the staff and personnel involved with the transaction and procedure. The negative attitude didn't sit well with the Metal girls. If John and Savannah weren't in town and across the street, they just might have stayed in the casino, and cleaned them out completely on every type of gaming system there was. CamNet would have really cleaned up for them on all the electronic gaming. They were unable to contact John Henry or CamNet during the procedure. They knew they were operating in the background. Every time a roadblock was thrown up in front of them, it got knocked down from somewhere 'higher up'. When it came to 'higher up', they knew nobody was 'higher up' than CamNet.

Ally, Cammy, and Sheila left the casino with the large sum of cash. They were still very scantily dressed. There was a lot of 'sheath' showing on all three of them.

The Metal girls made it outside of the casino. They discussed how much each of them won. It was almost the same give or take a few hundred dollars. They decided it was a 'tie' so they wouldn't bicker over a few hundred dollars. Based on the nature of their surroundings at the time, it was prudent they leave the establishment before things got uglier than they already were. They were going to donate the money anyway. They didn't want it to be seen as a 'competition', even though it was technically what it was between the three of them.

They didn't like the way they were treated as they won and they didn't like the different methods used to attempt to cheat them as they won big. They were able to spot and identify every illegal maneuver as it was employed and defeat it. Card shark dealers, and marked decks, didn't help the casino out at all. It actually helped the Metal girls win even more.

Cammy looked back at the casino as they walked away.

"I'm glad to be out of there." Cammy said. "We should have ridden the tram. I don't like being out on the street with all this cash after getting hassled like we were."

Ally didn't care for the delays and excuses when it was time to pay up what was owed to them. They beat the cheaters fair and square at their own game and cleaned house.

"They didn't look very happy about having to part with this cash." Ally said. "It was like it was their own money, not the casino's money."

Sheila never felt comfortable from the moment she first laid eyes on the casino. There was just something about the place which bothered her. She was glad she was able to win big and make a 'statement'. Based on the way they were treated she wouldn't mind making the second trip back to the location and teach a few people some 'lessons'. She was pretty sure something like it happened in the past and it was how it was dealt with. She felt history should repeat itself.

"They said they didn't have any cash on hand." Sheila said. "Can you believe it? I bet there are so many millions of dollars there, they're not even sure exactly how many million it is until it's counted."

Ally believed every casino in Las Vegas probably held millions of dollars in cash at any given time. The casino constantly took cash from the gamblers in the casino. A lot of it was done electronically these days, but cash was still king for the big spenders. There were some people who wanted to stay off of the radar without any direct trace of their spending habits. More than likely some of the cash they used wasn't in the 'system' in any way. Every casino was equipped with at least one big vault.

"The lack of cash line was a lie." Ally said. "They have millions in cash in their vaults. They also launder all of their illegal cash from the sex and drug trade to the casino to try to put a legitimate spin on it. Who do they think they're fooling? We know how these operations work. We deal with them all the time, even if they're on a smaller scale."

When Cammy saw it was going to be a problem to get the money they won fair and square from the crooked establishment, she wanted the people there to go up higher on the food chain for approval. She knew where the 'approval' would actually come from.

"When I told them to check with their bosses, they came back with the cash." Cammy said. "I wonder if their 'boss' was CamNet or John Henry. I was unable to contact either of them. I know they're watching us. I know they're looking after us."

Sheila was pleased with the way things played out. Once the Syndicate figured it out they were cheated, they would have to assume the management personnel in the casino was involved in some type of ploy to 'line their own pockets'. They would most likely be accused of having 'ringers' come in to collect the cash for the people in charge at the time. The way they were treated by the same individuals, wouldn't bother them at all when it would be time for them to answer to their bosses.

"I bet their real bosses will 'take care of them'." Sheila said. "They tried everything they could except handcuffs to keep us there. I'd like to be there and listen to how they tried to explain the only reason why they gave them the cash was because it was 'approved' by the very people who now questioned them. No doubt there was going to be a lot of finger pointing. The finger pointing is bound to be followed by firearms pointing."

Cammy took a look in back of them. She figured they were in the clear. If anything, the behind the scenes activity done would further be manipulated so it appeared the casino management was behind the whole thing. Someone higher up on the food chain was going to want some type of retribution. She hoped to put enough distance between them and the establishment so none of the retribution was directed at them.

"CamNet will make it look like they were all in on it." Cammy said. "They won't look for us. It will be on them as the ones behind it and we were just some sexy dopes who were played for fools and tried to be made into 'pasties'. They will probably think we're some type of sex workers out of some high end establishment. I bet they're really going to be miffed when they don't have any images to go by since I'm sure all of their security camera footage no longer exists, if it even did in the first place."

Sheila knew there were going to be a lot of 'events' the casino management wasn't going to be able to explain. There would be no visual evidence to back them up.

"Wait until they check and the surveillance footage will all be gone. There's a good chance it was never even there in the first place." Sheila said. "Their bosses will never believe them then they weren't in on it. I bet CamNet and John Henry will leave plenty of traces behind directed at the employees on duty right now. The ones who paid special attention to us, are the ones who are involved with the Syndicate aspect of the operation. John Henry and CamNet will have identified them as well."

Cammy agreed with Sheila's assessment.

"It's only going to be the Syndicate thugs who are targeted by the higher ups." Cammy said. "It won't be any of the low level employees who aren't actually part of the illicit operation. They wouldn't have the knowledge on how to game the system. I think everyone there who is part of the Syndicate is going to learn exactly what the Syndicate is the hard way. Payback is a Bitch."

Ally didn't like carrying the cash around with them. She wanted to get to the Battered Women's Shelter and deliver the funds as soon as possible. Being out on the street left her with an uncomfortable feeling.

"I think we're going to need some wheels." Ally said. "It will take too long to walk there. I'm pretty sure the way we're dressed at this time of night will provoke some type of negative response by some of the locals at some point. We're bound to be accosted or hassled in some way. We know it won't be the police because John Henry will make sure they're directed elsewhere."

Sheila wanted a set of wheels as well but she wanted a set of wheels with style.

"I want to look for another Escalade. I'm sure there are plenty around here." Sheila said. "Savannah liked it. It was nice to give her a treat."

Cammy looked back in the distance at the casino hotel where the others were at. They hadn't actually gone far away from it yet. Their original goal was to hit the next casino and clean them out too.

"We could always go back and get the Escalade we arrived in with the cash in it." Cammy said. "It won't take us very long if we go back."

Sheila wanted to win big again, not go back into some parking structure.

"And spoil our fun night out?" Sheila asked.

Ally kept a careful eye on Sheila when they were in the casino they just left. She hadn't noticed anything out of the ordinary which was a good thing. The problem only seemed to be in the beginning when they arrived. It actually started right before they arrived.

"This was fun." Ally said. "You seem better, Sheila. I was a little worried for a while."

Sheila continued to run diagnostics. Everything came back as 'normal' each time.

"I don't know what was wrong earlier." Sheila said. "It didn't feel like anything was wrong."

Cammy kept a careful eye out as well for Sheila. Ever since Sheila suggested she might go 'bad' she was very worried about her. A Terminator on a rampage in Las Vegas wasn't something to look forward to.

"You seem OK now." Cammy said. "I think you spotted the nature of the casino even before we entered. It didn't leave me with a good feeling either."

Sheila didn't want to dwell on it. She did understand the concern for her by the other girls. They all looked after each other. If someone experienced a problem with one of them, they would now experience a problem with all of them.

"I ran a test." Sheila said. "I'm good now. I'm perfect."

Cammy hoped so but she would still keep an eye on Sheila, just in case.

"We'll see." Cammy said.

Ally soon spotted a vehicle she liked.

"There, I saw a nice ride." Ally said. "Let's go get it."

Cammy knew if they were about to get a ride, they would need an address where to go.

"We need to find the Battered Women's Shelter too." Cammy said.

Sheila didn't think it would be a problem. There was probably more than one of them.

"We need to ask John Henry." Sheila said. "He can tell us in a few seconds."

Cammy kept an eye out for anything unusual around them. It was just standard behavior whenever they were out. She knew their most vulnerable point was from behind them. She glanced back. She stiffened up some.

Sheila and Ally saw Cammy react. They both went to turn around and look behind them.

Cammy didn't want to tip their hand.

"Don't look back." Cammy said.

It was clear to Ally there was some type of threat on their six.

"What is it?" Ally asked.

Cammy only glanced back once, but she was sure of what she saw.

"I think we've been acquired." Cammy said.

Cammy's terminology worried Sheila greatly. It sounded like something on a Resistance operation. They were more than a little light on weapons. They didn't have any.

"Do you mean by a Terminator?" Sheila asked. "We don't have any hardware."

Ally figured three Terminators against one should end favorably for them, even if none of them carried a Taser or a knife to remove the Terminators chip. There were other ways they could be dealt with.

"There are three of us." Ally said. "We can take him. Two of us can pin him and the other one can rip his head off."

Cammy didn't want to give the girls the wrong impression. She was sure it was a Syndicate thug and nothing more.

"I think it's a 'friend' of the casino bosses." Cammy said. "It's someone looking to make a quick buck for their boss. They think we're three young socialites. They want their money back and are coming to take it. It's what they think anyway."

Ally thought a challenge by a Syndicate thug was absurd.

"They think they can take it easy, like we did." Ally said. "What chances do some Syndicate thugs have against us? If they actually do make a move, they're about to find out the hard way what a Terminator is."

Cammy was well aware how surprised criminals were when they realized the 'helpless female' they were about to 'take down' was anything but a helpless female. They didn't have any idea of the concept of what a Terminator was. They found out rather quickly the hard way. There was always a risk even if it was minor.

"They can still damage our sheaths." Cammy said. "I don't want it to happen to any of us."

Cammy still hoped to be with John before they left Vegas if it was possible. Whatever occurred there was supposed to stay there according to Cameron. She still didn't know Cameron and Savannah didn't actually share. She believed they did and it was her motivation why she wanted to be with John. She wanted to make sure Cameron knew it as well.

Sheila was indignant about the gall of the Syndicate operation.

"We earned the cash." Sheila said. "They tried to cheat all of us in several different ways. We beat the corrupt system fair and square. We defeated each of their attempts."

Cammy didn't want things to get out of hand. There was most likely going to be a termination. She worried about having to do it on the Strip in Las Vegas.

"It's time to connect back with our world." Cammy said. "Let me see if I can contact John Henry and tell him the bad news."

Ally wondered if there was some other problem she was unaware of. The current threat didn't seem like too big of an obstacle to her.

"What's the bad news?" Ally asked. "Is it the thug following us?"

Cammy already came to the conclusion things were going to end badly for any Syndicate thugs.

"No. It's the fact we'll have to dispose of the deceased, and not make a scene." Cammy said. "We've dealt with these 'Syndicate types' before. They're real problem."

Ally hoped to find out a little more about what Cammy and Sheila did in the past.

"What happened?" Ally asked. "Do you mean from when you were here before?"

Sheila glanced quickly at Cammy. She knew they needed to moderate their response.

"We won and they lost." Sheila said. "It was just that simple."

Cammy and Sheila really wished they could unlock all the details about their past visit.

Ally could see the girls weren't going to reveal too much. She really wondered what all happened.

Cammy thought if they still possessed the H-bomb they thought they boosted, she might even think about using it when they left. She really wished she knew. She didn't like sore losers. If the Syndicate wanted to play rough, they picked the wrong individuals to do it with.

Cameron left John in the Honeymoon Suite. She went out wearing only the bathrobe. She took her wedding dress with her. She was going to have Savannah wear it. She was going to bring her to John. It was what John needed for his 'protection' in the future. It wasn't a very scary robot at his side. The need to fulfill her mission and protect John for the future, was finally about to happen.

She went down the hall to the Master Suite. The food cart was in the hall now. The food was only slightly picked over. Savannah didn't eat very much. She wasn't happy with it. She knew what Savannah actually 'ate' offered little nutritional value.

Cameron let herself into the room. She listened for a moment before she went further. She didn't want to intrude or spy, not yet anyway. She would do it another time. She knew there would be no shortage of opportunities going forward. Everything was quiet. Savannah was asleep.

Gail soundlessly appeared in the bedroom doorway, she was naked. There was a look of concern on her face. She was aware why Cameron was there.

Cameron looked Gail over. It was quite an impressive sight to see Gail naked like she was. She wondered if maybe before she reactivated Gail when she returned from her temporal error, if she shouldn't have 'borrowed' her chassis and used it with John at least a few times. It was something to think about anyway. She didn't want there to be a problem. She decided to clearly spell out what was about to happen.

"I've come for Savannah." Cameron said. "She's to mate with John."

Gail glanced back in the bedroom and Savannah. She didn't move.

"She's already pregnant." Gail said. "She doesn't need to mate."

Cameron was afraid of something like this. She was in no mood for games.

"You got what you wanted." Cameron said. "She must fulfill her duties to the future."

Gail filled the doorway and blocked it. She was highly offended at what Cameron just said. It wasn't a sexual encounter between Savannah and her. It was a loving encounter.

"How DARE you say it like that. It was nothing like that." Gail said. "I will protect her."

Gail walked out and faced Cameron.

Cameron could tell Gail meant what she just said.

"I don't have time for this." Cameron said.

Gail stood naked in front of Cameron. She wasn't about to move.

"Did you bring a Taser, a 'shocker, or a Glock?" Gail asked. "You will need them to get by me. I won't let you touch her for the purpose you intend. It needs to be her choice."

Cameron didn't want a confrontation. She wanted compliance. Everything was so close to fruition right now.

"Gail, John is ready now." Cameron said. "He is ready to accept Savannah and the 'Natural Order'."

Gail understood the 'Natural Order' and why it was necessary. It was Cameron's approach she disagreed with.

"You don't do it like this. You don't come for her in the dead of the night." Gail said. "It's the worst way possible to do it. You know it too."

Cameron held up what she brought from the Honeymoon Suite.

"I brought her wedding dress…." Cameron said.

Gail learned many things from Savannah and the other human females she associated with. There were certain events which were important in a person's life. What Cameron wanted for Savannah was one of them.

"If she is to be 'married', she should be able to celebrate with her friends." Gail said. "It should be with the people and machines who love her. It should be a joyous event, not done in secrecy and darkness. THAT is not right."

Cameron could see Gail was going to be a problem. The trouble was, Gail was right with what she said. It didn't matter. She needed to complete her mission, at least part of it. So far there hadn't been a better opportunity. It was unlikely there would be a better one going forward.

"Gail, I don't have time for this." Cameron said again.

Gail looked back towards the bedroom. She felt a sense of grief. It wasn't for her the grief was felt.

"She's asleep." Gail said. "She's hungry and tired. This isn't how a wedding night is supposed to be. This is wrong. You know it too."

Cameron was about to step around Gail and move into the bedroom.

"I'm taking her." Cameron said.

Gail was prepared to move in front of Cameron. She felt there was one common concern between them right now. It was what Cameron carried.

"Put the wedding dress down. Move it out of the way." Gail said. "I don't want it damaged. I know you don't either."

Cameron couldn't believe this was happening.

"Are we really going to fight over this?" Cameron asked.

Gail stood her ground. Her nude figure was quite impressive.

"Yes. It's actually up to you. I promised Savannah I would protect her." Gail said. "It's exactly what I'm going to do."

Cameron didn't want to fight Gail and tear the room up. She could see Gail was dead serious to stand up to her over this. She knew Gail believed she was doing the right thing for Savannah. What made it worse was she also knew it was the right thing for Savannah. She still wanted to carry out her mission.

"Gail, please. Let me carry her to John." Cameron said. "You know they've almost mated before. I will place her next to him and they can decide what they want to do when she wakes up. When they wake up, it can be up to them. You know if she says 'no' John will respect it. I won't make her wear the dress. It will be her choice. John is asleep now as well."

Gail didn't want Savannah to feel forced into what Cameron wanted her to do. She wanted to clearly know what Cameron would do.

"I don't know." Gail said. "Will you allow them to make love without Savannah having to be married to John?"

Cameron wanted to get her foot in the door with John and Savannah.

"I don't care if they only have sex." Cameron said. "They need to break the ice and do THIS. Once they start, it will happen more frequently. They will grow closer. I'm the one who is in both of their ways from proceeding. Even if I'm not there physically, I'm an invisible wall in front of them. You don't know how greatly it bothers me because I am. They would have shared years ago on their own if I wasn't in the way."

Gail wanted some firm rules in place. She wanted Savannah to have the choice and the option to back out of anything which might occur at any point in time.

"She can't be abused in any way. 'No' means 'NO' and 'stop' means 'STOP'." Gail said. "This should happen AFTER she has her baby. They should mate through love to create the next one."

Cameron wanted to make Gail part of what she was about to do.

"You can carry her." Cameron said.

Gail was willing to participate only on the sidelines. She wanted her conditions adhered to as well.

"I won't do it." Gail said. "I'll hold the doors and verify John is asleep. I won't 'throw her to the lions'."

Cameron was glad she didn't need to fight Gail. In hand to hand combat, neither one of them would hold a clear advantage. Gail was larger than her and highly motivated right now to face a challenge. It looked like there wouldn't be a problem at this point.

"Thank you for understanding." Cameron said.

Gail wanted to make her position perfectly clear to Cameron. She pointed at the wall which separated the Master Suite from the Honeymoon Suite.

"If Savannah says 'NO', I'm coming through the wall." Gail said.

Cameron believed John and Savannah both wanted to be with each other and would at least try it. Savannah wouldn't leave the room a virgin, even if she didn't like it. At least she would know.

"She won't." Cameron said. "When they wake up, they can decide. They've been this close several times. You know this. You've seen it. Skynet has got in the way every time."

Gail approached Cameron.

Cameron thought Gail was going to attack her.

"The dress, give it to me - NOW." Gail said as she held out her hand.

Cameron could tell it was a shaky truce. She would need to abide by Gail's rules or there would be a problem.

"I'll only place her in the bed if she is still asleep and John is asleep too." Cameron said.

Gail intended to hold her ground and conditions.

"I'll be there to verify it." Gail said.

Cameron looked over Gail's naked form.

"Do you want to put any clothes on?" Cameron asked.

Gail didn't care if she was naked or not.

"NO." Gail said.

Cameron didn't feel anything she was about to do was wrong.

"Gail, you know I love Savannah." Cameron said. "I want her for myself. I'm allowing John and her the opportunity to be together FIRST. I'm the one sacrificing. I love both of them. THIS is my mission, part of it anyway. Don't you think I could go into the room where she is right now and be with her myself? It's not what I'm doing. You were able to share with Savannah already. I still haven't. I could do it right now. I need to do what is more important for the future instead."

Gail knew Cameron was correct. Cameron could go to the room with Savannah right now. She didn't. Cameron really did answer to a higher call right now. It wasn't what she wanted to do, but she stepped aside. It was clear Cameron sacrificed her own desires right now.

Cameron passed by Gail and went into the bedroom. Savannah looked so peaceful sleeping. She was beautiful even in slumber. She believed Savannah was truly a Sleeping Beauty.

"I love you, Savannah." Cameron said softly as she gently picked up Savannah's nude figure.

When Cameron carried Savannah out of the bedroom, Gail was dressed with the clothes she brought and she left behind when she took the case earlier.

Gail noted there were no clothes left for Savannah. She could tell Cameron planned THIS all along. She knew she would see Savannah's clothes in the Honeymoon Suite, laid out, waiting for Savannah.

Cameron planned things out to happen just like this, for the both of them.

Gail held the two doors for Cameron as she carried the sleeping form of Savannah. She realized if Cameron were to wake Savannah up at any point, Savannah would choose to be with Cameron instead. She noticed how careful Cameron was so it wouldn't occur. Maybe she was a little too harsh with Cameron earlier.

She moved ahead of Cameron and checked. John was asleep.

Cameron carefully laid Savannah where she was earlier, next to John. Cameron gently whispered in Savannah's ear as she covered her with the satin sheet.

Gail saw the tears in Cameron's eyes as she left the bedroom without looking back. It was clear to her Cameron was sincere in her beliefs. She also understood the personal sacrifice in more ways than one Cameron just put into play. She understood sometimes love was about sacrifice. It was clear Cameron loved both John and Savannah.
