They did not travel West, They did not travel South, and they were not headed to the well or village. Sesshomaru had once again assumed the lead and Kagome, having not been told to leave, followed.
"Sesshomaru, where are we going?" She asked following him uphill.
"To see a sword maker," Even human, he seemed to do things effortlessly,
"You're talking about Totosia?"
"Hn,"
"Why, can he help?"
"Perhaps,"
"How?" She picked up her pace to walk next to him, the gravel rolling under her feet.
He stopped "We are here," Just about the time Kagome heard a loud cow and Totosia wiggled himself out of his cave dwelling "Hu, Miko Kagome is that you?"
She waved and then he looked at Sesshomaru, blinked, looked back at Kagome, and then back at Sesshomaru.
"Speak old man!" Sesshomaru snapped,
"Oh Sesshomaru, it is you,"
Sesshomaru did his best to growl, again.
"What brings you here?" The man asked rubbing his sharp beard.
"Really?" Kagome's mind yelled,
"Did you get into a fight with a witch perhaps?"
"I did nothing to receive this curse,"
The old man raised a curious eyebrow and Kagome sighed "He didn't do anything directly to her," She clarified "Regardless she wanted to teach him a lesson,"
Sesshomaru eyed her,
"Must have been his fathers doing," The man turned "Come on in,"
Sesshomaru made fist, leave it to his father to meddle, even after death. He wished the dead would stay dead damn it. Kagome grabbed his sleeve and pulled and they followed the old man inside where they found him sitting.
"Can you help?" Kagome asked,
"Is that why you came?" He asked petting his cow who now lay next to him. Sesshomaru of course stood.
"Im afraid there is nothing I can do young lord,"
Kagome looked up at Sesshomaru who looked away.
"He assumed his father's power that seals his brother's half-demon blood may be able to reverse the curse, but if it was his father who ordered the curse I assure you he thought it through,"
Kagome looked down "Now what,"
The old demon beamed "I dont see the problem, finding a human lover should be easy!"
Kagome cringed.
Sesshomaru's nostrils flared,
"Why not ask the Monk for help!" The sword master laughed,
Kagome jumped up and started to push Sesshomaru out "Thanks we will be going now," She laughed nervously "Even human he can kill you, old man!" Her mind sank out.
The sword maker smirked and looked out his cow "He worries not that it's human but that the human will die," He looked back out "Why not just court the one human that cant die?"
Moooooo the cow seemed to agree.
