Sorry KagamiPINKAgreste...I was gonna update this earlier and write more fanfics you would enjoy but writing has become blah to me and the Miraculous series has become so hella repetitive to me! And I know you are going through a lot lately...If you were with me I'd give you a bone crushing hug because I love you! You were the first friend I made in the Miraculous fandom back in 2020 and you stayed a friend and was there for me when I was at my lowest.

I wanted to publish this sooner to cheer you up...Sorry it sucks!

Also, this fanfic only has two more chapters left. Then I will write my next multi-chapter Adrigami fanfics like "A Cherry Blossom in Paris," "Princess Cherry Blossom", and a multi-chapter Adrigami MerMay fanfic so stay tuned! Thank you for reading!

Kagami was so excited for this day!

She was finally getting a taste of freedom with her little kitty Miyako. Kagami was so happy walking the streets of Paris while Miyako was safe in a comfortable kitty-carrying bag.

Today was the day that she would take Miyako to the pet spa, and Adrien, the budding cat dad he is, was super eager to join in. Kagami remembered his eyes lighting up over the video message and saying with the utmost sincerity that he would meet them there.

"I couldn't just leave my two special girls hanging," he said over the phone.

There was a pause when Adrien's smooth, flirty talking filled Kagami's eyes and made her heart thump, causing her to blush red. Adrien suddenly realized what he had said as well, and he also blushed red and started to sweat. He didn't know how to fix that, so he covered his face.

"I'm sorry!" He cried.

"Um…" Kagami was still blushing as she placed her hand over her lips. "It's okay, Adrien."

The two of them eventually cooled down, and the rest of the conversation was smooth, especially since Miyako had become more acrobatic and had a habit of jumping and climbing on people to sit on their shoulders.

Kagami smiled, and Miyako seemed aware of Adrien on the video chat and mewed affectionately. Adrien couldn't be happier.

"Hey, Miyako! You're such a lovely little lady!"

Kagami thought it was adorable for him to make goodnight smoochies for Miyako. Eventually, Kagami yawned, and Adrien urged her to rest. Kagami blinked her almond-brown eyes and smiled as she whispered one last goodnight before signing out. Adrien's smile became goofy, and he felt his heart thump as he turned off the lamp and let his phone be the only light next to him in bed. He wrapped the cool blanket around himself and pondered as he couldn't sleep yet.

"I meant what I said about how you are special to me. I wonder if this is too fast, like when I thought Ladybug was my true love," Adrien couldn't help but chuckle at something that might as well be a distant memory.

"And…" Adrien took a moment to scroll through his phone to see a beautiful picture of Kagami smiling on a sunny day, looking much happier than she did when they first met.

Adrien smiled warmly. "I would give kisses to you too, Kagami. If you wanted, that is..."

He fell asleep shortly after, feeling peace in this lonely porcelain home. It was a big day tomorrow, after all.

Adrien would only be a few minutes late, and nothing could ruin this day. Then again, maybe sometimes he was a total joker of a black cat with the worst luck in the world because his own miraculous beeped, signifying the Akuma menace.

Adrien felt dread shake him to his core as he clenched his fist. "No! No!" But he looked at the ring on his finger and felt his heart sink.

Adrien shook his head, not wanting to ruin something good with Kagami because of his stupid superhero life. Even Plagg, floating above him, seemed to sympathize with how conflicted Adrien felt.

"I said I would be there for her…" Adrien said.

Little did he know Kagami was taking a detour as well. It was an even more wonderful day when friendly strangers and adorable children wanted to get to know little Miyako. At this point, she was questioning if she would be a little late, but the entire day was nearly ruined when she finally arrived at the front of the pet spa.

A strange Akuma burst out of the door. A black cat baron with sinister eyes looked around and carried a dark staff. Everyone else ran away screaming, but Kagami stayed frozen and held Miyako close to her.

He's not Chat Noir…Kagami thought.

Miyako frightfully meowed as the Baron pointed his dark staff at Kagami.

"There you are, kitty!" Cried the Baron.

And Adrien saw this all on a video on his miraculous ring.

"Oh god! Kagami and Miyako are in danger!" Adrien cried and cursed himself.

"Plagg! Claws Out!"

"Yes, sir!" Plagg cried as they quickly unified for a transformation.

Adrien sparkled as Chat Noir in the bright sunlight, and he rushed to the pet spa as fast as he could to reach Kagami and Miyako.

Kagami was never one to run away or cry for help, but when she was about to fight back, a familiar boy clad in a black cat outfit rushed in front of her and guarded her.

"Chat Noir!"

The evil cat baron didn't seem pleased to be upstaged, but Chat Noir turned to Kagami and smiled warmly at her.

"At your service, Miss!"

"Hmph! Such a lack of class!" Said the Baron.

Chat Noir's ears perked up as he turned to the Baron. The Baron had mysterious blue eyes and wore fancier attire than Chat Noir. Still, he certainly didn't have good intentions or a heart.

"Excuse me?" Chat Noir said.

"There is a new gentleman cat in Paris to be adored by all," the Baron sighed and leaned against his staff. "Not that you were ever a gentleman in the first place, you ungraceful kit."

Oh, that was it! If this new guy wanted a fight, he was about to get one, but then he turned to Kagami, and her bewildered face became frightened.

"I was tasked to find the black cat's weak spot," the Baron said as a slight smirk formed.

Suddenly Chat Noir didn't feel so cocky as all the color became lost on his face, and he quickly turned back at Kagami again.

"Kagami," Chat Noir whispered frantically. "Please get out of here quickly!"

Kagami felt it was wise not to argue this time, so she nodded and quickly ran with Miyako in tow. However, she couldn't stop Miyako's desperate meowing pleas.

"I'm not a fool who would place hands on a lady like that!" The Baron said in an amused tone. Then Chat Noir was caught off guard by the Baron making a swift swipe with his staff but stopped with a soft tap on Chat Noir's shoulder.

"We'll settle this with a duel!" Cried the Baron.

Chat Noir's green eyes pierced as he glared at the Baron and summoned his staff. "Bring it on, pretty boy!"

In a rush, the two black cats started sparring with their staffs, and they both fought fiercely from a deep-seated desire to knock the other down.

Kagami got on higher ground, but she couldn't help but turn around and see Chat Noir fight with all his might. He was not as confident as usual, struggling to breathe and stay on his feet. Miyako was also desperately trying to get out of her bag, but Kagami set the bag down and knelt as she looked the black cat in the eye.

"Protecting you is most important, Miyako," Kagami said. "We can always count on Chat Noir."

But Miyako merely gave another desperate meow in response.

And then Kagami heard a harsh blow.

Chat Noir gritted his teeth as the evil cat baron gave him a sinister look while trying to knock the air out of him, but Chat Noir knew he couldn't show weakness.

"Hmph! I was right about you not being a gentleman!" Said the Baron as he made another swipe.

Chat Noir grunted as he blocked the swing with his staff. "I try my best!" He growled.

But Chat Noir could only endure the pain from the Baron battering him for so long, and the Baron got very cheeky and knocked the staff out of his claws. Chat Noir gasped as he turned around but wasn't expecting what came next.

Kagami ran in and caught his staff, and she wasted no time running in front of Chat Noir to protect him. The cat baron found it all amusing, but he also seemed quite intimidated to see a fierce Japanese girl point Chat Noir's staff at his chest.

The cat baron tried to laugh it off.

"So you're Chat Noir's weakness," the cat baron snarked.

Chat Noir went from wide-eyed and bewildered to blushing behind his mask. Kagami glared at the cat baron more and aimed the staff at his neck, causing the cat baron to gulp.

"Don't hurt him!" Kagami cried.

"Oh no, I won't hurt him again, mademoiselle," the cat baron said flirtatiously, causing Kagami to raise an eyebrow.

"I was simply tasked to go after Chat Noir's weakness," the cat baron raised his sharp claws for Kagami's face.

Chat Noir couldn't take it anymore and nearly went full claws out to deliver a cataclysm to the cat baron's face. But since today couldn't be dramatic enough, a loud meow was heard in the distance as a familiar black cat raced to claw the cat baron's face like a black lightning bolt.

"Miyako!" Kagami cried.

The cat baron shrieked from having his face clawed by a tiny black kitty. Chat Noir and Kagami were dumbfounded by how the cat baron thought he was cool and powerful, but Miyako was putting up a good fight.

"You filthy creature!" Cried the cat baron.

But Miyako let out a loud howl, and the cat baron finally threw Miyako off of him. Kagami and Chat Noir cried Miyako's name out in terror, but the clever black cat landed on her feet and skidded on the ground. Kagami quickly picked up Miyako and held her safely in her arms while Chat Noir thought quickly and got in front of them to shield them.

"You will leave them alone, Baron! I suggest you leave now before all of Paris finds out you were outwitted by a kitty!" Chat Noir cried.

The Baron responded with labored breaths and glared at Chat Noir, then he tried to reach for his staff.

"No, there will be a new black cat in Paris because the pesky Chat Noir will be no more," said the Baron.

Kagami gasped as she saw Chat Noir light up his dark energy. Chat's green eyes glowed not just with determination but also with anger.

"I don't think so, faker!" Chat Noir cried.

He lunged forward and grabbed the Baron's staff with his claws.

"CATACLYSM!"

The Baron's staff shattered, and Kagami moved away and shielded Miyako. With the Baron's power source destroyed, the evil Akuma faded as well, but not before cursing Chat Noir.

"I thought I knew your weakness!" These were the Baron's last words before he faded away. Chat Noir glared without feeling triumphant as the cat hero fell to his knees and let out a gasp.

"Chat Noir!" Kagami cried.

But Kagami's voice and strength made his heart soften and reminded him everything would be okay. What he didn't expect, though, was Miyako jumping out of Kagami's arms, running up to Chat Noir's lap, nuzzling and licking Chat Noir's wounds.

"Hey there, little one…" Chat Noir said tenderly.

At first, Kagami noticed from a distance. Chat Noir would be so tender with Miyako doting on her and Miyako nuzzling him so much…

Kagami pondered for a moment. She felt that, sure, of course, the charismatic Chat Noir would befriend every cat in Paris, but something about this felt familiar.

"You're such a lovely little lady," Chat Noir said.

Kagami blinked, and then she felt her heart beat faster.

This day certainly was less than perfect for Chat Noir, but moments like this made the bad times more bearable. Not to mention, Chat Noir was caught off guard by Kagami rushing towards him, sitting in front of him, to take his hands in hers like a whirlwind of sweet cherry blossoms. Chat Noir was speechless.

"Chat Noir, you're hurt!" Kagami's voice was shaky, but her touch became more gentle when her hands stopped shaking.

"...Thank you for saving us."

Chat Noir frowned. His heart dropped from hearing those words, and Kagami frowned, feeling her gratitude wasn't sincere enough. His mysterious green eyes were filled with sorrow as if it were the only way to communicate: "Don't say that. I'm not much of a hero. We merely survived by the hairs on her heads…"

But the silence was broken by the sound of soft purring. Kagami and Chat Noir were completely lit up by Miyako purring, along with her giant black pupils becoming the biggest they have ever been looking at Kagami and Chat Noir. Not to mention, she nuzzled both of them so tenderly, and Chat Noir noted that Miyako being the best kitty ever was more than enough balm for his wounds, considering he still felt like hanging his head in shame.

Kagami couldn't help but note that she was definitely Miyako's mother…

But her heart skipped a beat when she realized that Miyako was treating Chat Noir…As if he was her father.

For a moment, time stood still as Kagami pondered. But then she gave a soft gasp at Chat Noir, placing his hand on her shoulder.

"We should take the little one over for a check-up," Chat Noir said. His cat pupils are big and playful, and he smiles warmly at her, causing her to blush.

"Yes!" Kagami said as she quickly picked up Miyako and stood up.

Kagami took a moment to look for any possible wounds. Still, Miyako seemed as healthy as she had before this ordeal. It couldn't hurt to check.

"And her name is Miyako," Kagami said.

Chat Noir smirked and placed his hand on his hip. "What a clever name!"

Miyako meowed in response, and Chat Noir grinned as he held out his hand for the little one. "High five!" Miyako actually did touch her paw with his in response.

"I'll take you two to the vet," Chat Noir said.

The very thought made Kagami blush again, but then Chat Noir's miraculous beeped, and he didn't hold back, groaning and turning away with a sigh.

Kagami attempted to place her hand on his arm in comfort. Still, he took a moment to mentally prepare before turning back to her.

"I have to go now, Kagami."

Kagami frowned but ended up nodding. "I understand Chat Noir."

Chat Noir was about to run away from her in a depressing manner, but then he turned back to her.

"I'm sorry you didn't get to go to the pet spa."

Kagami had to stifle a gasp, but she shook her head instead. "It's alright, Chat Noir!"

Chat Noir growled under his breath when he realized he had seconds before his transformation was done. He realized he could've just let go and let Kagami see all of him, but after Kagami and Miyako nearly got hurt…

He ran away in shame, but Kagami reached out for him…

Wishing she could take away his anguish.

Not to mention, Kagami couldn't help but admit to herself,

Chat Noir seemed familiar.

That is, he was always her friend and her hero. But it was his behavior towards Miyako, and Miyako being so familiar with Chat Noir, that she couldn't brush it off.

But she missed her opportunity to ask Chat Noir directly…

As she looked up in the sky, she was just happy that Adrien wasn't in danger as well. If anything, she didn't want him to worry that Miyako was in danger.

But at the same time, she was way too confused to talk to Adrien now, so she held Miyako close and walked her to the vet.

And Adrien sat against the wall of a shady area, ashamed of himself.

But even if he was indecisive as all hell, he knew he had to protect Kagami and Miyako no matter what. Although he felt at this point, he could never be romantically involved with her.

If anything, Adrien feared his crazy double-life would make him lose Kagami forever…
