T50: Laura.

November 27th

The next morning, a black car drove up to the 19th century home and parked, followed by the driver-door opening, and a heavy-set middle-aged woman named Laura Michelle-mother of Alice and Lulu, got out of the vehicle and closed the door, then headed toward the house. She had wheat brown shoulder-length hair and blue eyes. Laura walked up to the steps and onto the porch of the house and rand the door-bell.

The door soon opened, revealing Monica standing on the other side. "Laura, hi. What brings you here?" She said, smiling.

"You guys. My family. May i come in?" Laura said, also smiling.

"Why, yes, of course." Monica said. "Come right in." She said, standing aside.

Laura entered inside the house and Monica closed the door. Once inside, Monica led her through the foyer and into the living-room where she saw that it was deserted. "Where is everyone?"

"They're gone. Out looking for the boys in town again." Monica answered. "I was just about to head into town myself and join the search. I promised Lulu."

"Oh, is she gone too?" Laura asked as she turned to face Monica.

"No, she's, uh...upstairs in the boys' bed-room. I guess she couldn't handle another search turning up empty." Monica said.

"Oh, dear. I better go see if she's alright." Laura said.

"Be my guest. I'm head'n out to join the rest of the family in town." Monica said.

"Let me know if you find anything." Laura said.

"I will." Monica said.

Laura then headed upstairs to see her younger daughter.
