Chapter 64. To save a friend, what it means to be free, approaching chaos
In the dark room the mysterious figure senses that his agent has been taken out by the G Breakers but he wasn't worried or angry at all instead this made him curious.
?: hmmm… I never thought they would be that strong, perhaps I can use them for my own plans, the rabbit can be of use as well after all she desires something that obsessively wants… even if it means burning the world.
(Scene change)
At the stadium Reji and his team are seen heading to the main computer that is underneath the stadium where the very problem got started from.
Xeal: Reji. How are you sure the problem is coming from underneath the stadium?
Reji: I have been reading the data from the virus and where it was coming from which was underneath us not only that but the virus look like it is man made meaning that this chaos is was no accident.
Shun: if it's man made who would do this and for what reason?
Shingo: I got to say this dimension is crazy, the females looks down on the male, they wear robot armor which only they can use along with believing they are the superior species this is insane and stupid on so many ways.
Sora: you forgot to say we saw a bit of that behavior but at least things was returning to normal however, those pilots seem to hate Gunpla a lot though.
Reji: I have a sinking feeling that the one who created the I.S wants everything to go the way she says so, just like him.
The rest of the Lancers didn't show it but they understood what Reji was talking about, the Creator of the I.S made the world her playground to do whatever she wants with no one to stop her, this reminds them of the man who started the dimension war and doomed them to a fate that they didn't want.
Soon the group arrived at the room where the main computer room, they then open the door and walked inside, to there surprise Tabane is dancing for joy not knowing that she has been caught red handed by someone already and the Lancers finds this completely dumb and stupid.
Shun: you got to be kidding me…
Xeal: this is the most pathetic person to ever exist.
Shingo: I don't know what I'm seeing right now.
Sora: me too.
Reji: … Tabane.
Tabane: huh!? What the? How did anyone find me?
Reji: that is simple all we had to do is follow where the virus was coming from. So care to explain why you are doing this.
Tabane: why should I tell you guys anything that I do? I've completed my work and soon the whole world will be back to what it should have been.
Tabane then disappears in a flash of light no where to be found, Reji looks at the HARO that is still connected to the System and wonders what to do until Oda walked in and spoke.
Oda: I'd advise you to not remove that HARO.
Reji: !? Is it because the virus will still spread no matter what we do?
Oda: correct. You need to login to GBN and destroy the source of it.
Xeal: hmph. It looks like we are heading into cyberspace now.
Oda: I've already asked others to help the situation.
Reji: … very well then. We will head over immediately.
(Scene change)
(Mega Man X 5 - Zero Stage 2)
In GBN Yushai and the others are seen heading deeper into the source of the virus which is becoming more like some sort of odd heaven, but what was the strangest thing they saw was I.S pilots with bunny ears which confuses everyone even more even if it's all data.
Yushai: okay… this is getting more odd the more I see this.
Izuku: I have a lot of questions too but I think I'm better off not knowing.
Krystina: whoever is making this sort of disgusting idea should be sent to prison.
Bracelet girls: agreed.
The G Breakers continues on further inside along with destroying many of the I.S data pilot that are trying to stop them, of course the girls went all-out on the enemy showing no mercy whatsoever, Yushai and Izuku can't help but feel a bit afraid of them and decided it's best to stay on there good side and respect female kind.
Soon the group arrived in another area which has information about the real world and to there surprise they saw there battles from the tournament along ones from the training camp.
Yushai: how does the virus has information on us and the other battlers?
Krystina: who would know about us and the tournament would be…
Izuku: Mona. But we haven't seen her in days. Why would she be here and why?
Yushai: we are going to have to keep going, if Mona is somehow involved with what is happening… we to hear it from her if we want to know the truth.
The group then continue on to the source along the way destroying many enemies that tried to stop them as they get closer to the target, the group is soon confronted by a large army of I.S data that are determined to stop them from going any further.
Yushai: well this isn't good.
Krystina: there's so many of them…
Izuku: how are we supposed to get by all of them? We would be too tired after fighting against all of them.
The I.S data prepare to attack the group and destroy them for good, Until a beam was fired from far away, everyone turned around and saw a lot of battlers led by the guardians of GBN along side Reji leading the Lancers and players from the tournament.
Guardian: go! We will handle this.
Reji: be on guard on what might be inside there.
Yushai: right. Everyone let's go!
The G Breakers then heads inside to face the source of the problem while everyone else fights off the army of I.S data, Ichika and his friends are also confused by why there was so many I.S machines are in GBN.
Ichika: why are their I.S machines here this doesn't make any sense.
Houki: yeah it shouldn't be possible… sis would never do this… would she?

Back with the G Breakers they finally reached the core and to there surprise they see Mona who is connected to GBN's core data.
Yushai: Mona…
Izuku: it look like we were right… but there seems to be something wrong with her.
Krystina: your right… it's almost like she's being controlled by something.
Yushai: it really does look like it.
Mona: … targets verified begin termination of targets.
Yushai: here she comes. If we want to save her we are going to have to fight her.
Krystina: we have to give it are all and get through to her.
Izuku: she's our friend and we won't abandon her!
Yushai: we will save her no matter what after all she's our friend and we're bringing her back home with us!
(Blazblue – Relapse)
Mona: … beginning extermination.
The battle soon began as Yushai and his group began fighting against Mona who is now being controlled by some program that Tabane has created, Mona changes into the I.S that Yushai fought years back which confuses him more.
Mona shows no mercy to them as she tries to destroy them but they dodge her attacks, the group counter attack against her but Mona barely avoided the attacks, Yushai and the others continued to fight on along with saying many words to Mona in order to get through to her.
But Mona ignores them as she continues her assault however Yushai noticed Mona doesn't want to hurt to hurt them which he keeps noticing that she's trying to not to damage them too much meaning there's still a part Mona that is still alive.
Yushai: Guys, there's still a part of Mona that's still left.
Izuku: there is? But how do we save her?
Yushai: … awakening. We will use awakening to destroy that programming that's controlling her.
Krystina: using awakening could work.
Izuku: but we have to time it right and not miss our chance.
Krystina: me and the girls will district her we're counting on you two to land the hit.
Yushai: we won't miss.
The girls then started attacking Mona trying to make sure she can't move too much then both Yushai and Izuku uses awakening and charges at her hitting with awakening, then Mona started to act strange as she fights back against Tabane's programming.
Yushai: come on! You can do it Mona!
Izuku: your are our friend Mona! And another member of G Breakers!
Krystina: you are your own individual Mona, Tabane has no right to decide how you want to live!
Mona: I… I…
Then Mona started to fighting back against Tabane's programming in order to break free, but then something unexpected happens as Mona splits into two, the half that is Mona breaking free, the other is her previous form as an I.S, soon the two were completely split up from one another.

G Breakers: Mona!
Mona: everyone…
Yushai: your okay. That's good .
Mona: but… I'm an I.S…
Yushai: we don't care if you're an I.S AI Mona. Your you.
Izuku: and your also our friend along with being another member of G Breakers.
Krystina: your also family to Mona.
Mona: everyone…
Then the heard scream of anger and frustration coming from the other half of Mona which was now full of nothing but hatred towards GBN and the players that are getting in the way of its mission, it then transformed into a monster like mobile armor from Gundam Unicorn.
I.S monster: destroy! Terminate! Rip apart!
Yushai: you guys ready for this ?
G Breakers: Yeah!
Mona: this time I too will fight alongside you all.
Mona summons her own Gunpla which was Phenix from U.C then the final battle began.

The group started fighting against the monster I.S mobile armor as it attacks everything in sight, the group dodges and avoid its attacks as it causes major damage to GBN and making it spread more.
Yushai: we have to do something to prevent anymore damage!
Mona: I can handle that.
Mona activities destroy mode and then wings of light spread out and began reversing the damage and healing the network, everyone was surprised by this and are glad Mona was helping them out, they then resumed fighting against the mobile armor, that fire many weapons at the group but they dodge it once again as they continue to cause more damage to it.
I.S monster: destroy! Destroy! DESTROY!
Yushai: careful everyone it's not down yet!
Izuku: we won't let it destroy GBN!
Krystina: I don't know who wants to destroy this game but they must be a very terrible person.
Mona: this place is my new home where I can met my family anytime I won't let you destroy it!
The mobile armor soon started to take serious damage from the group which made the I.S even more angry, so it began building up a lot of power in order to end it all even if it means it's destruction, however a lot of shoots hit it interrupting it's last chance, the shots came from the players from the tournament.
Reji: so this was that woman's plan how pathetic.
Ichika: is that an I.S monster? What is going on!?
Kiryu: whatever it is it's dangerous lets go!
Kirito: to me this is just another Monday!
Zero: let's go Michael!
Michael: okay Zero!
Bakugo: there's no way I'm not going to lose this battle!
Yushai: everyone!
The mobile armor roars at the enemies that are getting in its way, Yushai and the others attacks along side the rivals from the tournament as everyone caused even more powerful damage to it pushing it to it's limit and is now on its last leg.
Yushai: let's finish this, Izuku!
Izuku: right!
The two activities Awakening once again, then they bring the power down on the mobile armor splitting it in half, then the I.S scream out as it explodes ending the battle.

Yushai: it's over.
Izuku: it sure is.
Krystina: it's a good thing the damage has been stopped.
Yushai: and that' a good thing, now lets go home and you too Mona.
Mona: yeah.
(Scene change)
(Astral Chain – Fragment of Hope)
Back at the Stadium the award ceremony began as Toshinori gives out many awards to many of the teams that made it to the finals, Reji's team, Ichika's team and finally team G Breakers, as he gives Izuku the trophy.
Toshinori: congratulations young man. Both you and your team should be proud.
Izuku: thank you sir!
Then Izuku lefts the trophy up in the as the crowd cheers for the teams for taking part in the world tournament, then the group takes a picture together with Mona being held in Yushai's hands.
Then everyone heads on home, as for the Lancers they were getting ready to plan out on recruiting those to join their mission until someone unexpected confronted them.
?: excuse me. Are you Reji?
Reji: yes I am. My I ask who you are?
?: my apologies my name is Accord. And we need to have a serious talk.
Reji: what is it you wish to talk about?
Accord: it's about this.
Accord shows them a picture of a Black dragon which all the Lancers recognized, and that look was all Accord needed.
Then everything fades to black.
