Big Man on Berk
The riders have been busy building their new outpost. However, they were forced to return to Berk in order to help with a problem. Turns out, a Scauldron was around Berk's fishing lanes and was causing trouble
"Alright, gang, we'll buzz pass the Scauldron and draw its attention so Astrid, Ruff and Tuff can net it from behind and drag it out to the sea, got it?" Hiccup asked
"I still think we should blast it" Tuffnut said
"Stoick just wants us to move the Scauldron out of Berk's fishing lanes" Astrid reminded "So don't get any crazy ideas"
"Uh, sorry. Crazy is what we do, Astrid, duh!" Ruffnut said
"You guys do realize that a Scauldron's hot water blast can rip the scales right off a Screaming Death" Fishlegs said, just before they all saw the Scauldron right straight ahead them
"There it is. Let's focus, guys" Hiccup said, so Astrid tossed the rope of a net to Ruffnut before starting to make their way down to the water
"As usual, nobody listens to Fishlegs" Fishlegs muttered to himself
The other riders also made their way down the water since the Scauldron was still unaware of their presence
"One… two… three!" Hiccup counted. However, Fishlegs sneezed and took Meatlug off guard, which made her lose control of her flight. Also, Fishlegs' sneeze alerted the Scauldron who finally noticed the riders
Then, Fishlegs and Meatlug bumped into Snotlout and Hookfang, which made the rider fall into the net they were supposed to catch the Scauldron into
"Help me!" Snotlout yelled
"Abort! Abort!" Hiccup ordered just before Fishelgs and Meatlug bumped into him and Toothless
Astrid and the twins tried to make their dragons fly back up but since they descended a bit faster than they should, they were having some trouble, so the Scauldron was about to shot its water blast at them
"Thunder, lightning blast!" Blake ordered, so Thunder did as he was told and shot a lightning blast at the Scauldron, scaring it off
"Thanks for that, Blake" Hiccup said as Toothless recovered control of his flight
"Oh, I see how it is. He's allowed to blast it" Tuffnut muttered, as he glared slightly at Hiccup
A few minutes later, they returned to Berk
"You and your snot-rockets almost got me killed" Snotlout said angrily to Fishlegs
"Calm down, Snotlout. You lived" Astrid said as she walked by him
"No thanks to Itch-legs over here" Snotlout said, gesturing to Fishlegs who was scratching himself
"It's so weird. I mean, I never… never…" before Fishlegs could finish, he sneezed once again, all over Meatlug "Get sick"
"Well, the way you are scratching yourself says otherwise" Blake said as he crossed his arms over his chest
"Dig deeper, see if you can draw blood" Tuffnut said
"I don't see what the big deal is, okay. Everyone sneezes and scratches sometimes" Fishlegs said
"Not like a honey-covered yak on anthill" Tuffnut said which made everyone look at him "What? You've never seen a honey-covered yak on anthill? Well, those things scratch. It's terrifying"
"I really don't feel sick, okay? I promise I'm fine" Fishlegs said, but he scratched his hack against Meatlug
"Okay… what if you are actually allergic to something? I mean, we visited lots of islands while we were looking for our own" Blake suggested
"That's not a bad idea" Hiccup agreed "We visited lots of islands and maybe they had a plant or something that triggered an allergy on you"
"That's impossible, allergies don't run in the Ingerman Family" Fishlegs said "I'm clean, serene and-"
"And an itching machine" Ruffnut finished
"Might I interject? We at the Thorston house we have a very simple allergen detection system, it never fails" Tuffnut said proudly
"Is it a system?" Ruffnut asked
"Well, now it is" Tuffnut said
Later, the riders were at the academy, in order for the twins to do their "Allergen detection system" on Fishlegs. First, Tuffnut showed him a pretty rotten egg
"Thousand-year-old egg. Slam this down your gullet" Tuffnut said as he gave the egg to Fishlegs
A bit hesitant, Fishlegs took a bite from the egg, clearly disgusted but his expression quickly changed
"Oh, it could use a little sea salt" he said, enjoying the egg's taste but it didn't trigger any allergy on him
"What about this? Yak hair" Ruffnut said as she slapped some Yak hair on Fishlegs' face before rubbing it across his face
Fishlegs' was covered in Yak hair. However, it didn't even make him scratch himself in the slightest
"Not really" he said "Feels kind of like my old Aunt Gerta. You know, she used to-"
"No, I'd like to be able to sleep at night" Hiccup quickly interrupted
Then, Tuffnut gave Fishlegs a mug with something inside
"Spoiled, coagulated goat milk with just a pinch of hoof jam. I find it changes the while experience" Tuffnut said
Fishlegs lifted the mug, waiting for the goat milk to drop in his mouth. However, the goat milk was more a cheese than milk, so it dropped in Fishlegs' mouth
"Oh, that is… cheesy and delicious" Fishlegs said after swallowing, which made the other riders look like they were about to throw up
"I'm telling you, I've never been allergic to anything" Fishlegs said as he walked towards Meatlug, but when he got close to her, he sneezed all over her which was noticed by Hiccup
"Fishlegs… I think you might be allergic to… Meatlug" he suggested
"Why all of the sudden would he be allergic to Meatlug?" Astrid asked
"Yeah, he sees her ever day" Blake added
"Perhaps it's just a simple case of adult-onset allergies" Tuffnut suggested
"I concur with your diagnosis, Dr. Nut" Ruffnut said
"I concur with your concur-ation" Tuffnut agreed
"Adult-onset allergies develop in your elder years when your immune system mistakenly identifies a dangerous substance" Ruffnut explained
The other riders looked at the twins, not being able to believe that what they said was accurate
"Don't be silly, there's no way I'm-" Fishlegs began. However, Ruffnut shoved his face into Meatlug, which made him sneeze uncontrollably
"Yeah, diagnosis confirmed" Ruffnut said as she released Fishlegs
"Fishlegs, there is only one person in Berk who can help" Hiccup said as he walked towards Fishlegs
Hiccup and Blake took Fishlegs with Gothi since she was the only one who could help him with his allergy to Meatlug. Snotlout also tagged along, curious to see how would things turn out. Gobber was also there, in order to translate whatever Gothi wrote
"Ohh, I gotta see this" Snotlout said to himself before Gothi began to write on the sand
"What's she saying?" Fishlegs asked
"Huh?" Gobber muttered as he looked at Gothi's writing
"What? What?!" Fishlegs asked, starting to get nervous
"She wants to paralyze you" Gobber explained calmly, which made Gothi hit him with her staff "Aah! Check that… hypnotize, she wants to hypnotize you"
"Aw, come on" Snotlout said in disappointment "Wait, isn't that the state you put Thunder in when you need to give him a bath, Blake?"
"I don't really think so" Blake said with a shrug before patting Thunder's head "I put him in a state where he's conscious enough to stand and walk but not enough to really care about what's happening"
Then, Gothi placed her staff in front of Fishlegs' face and began to move it from side to side
"Ha. Unfortunately guys, this is never going to work on me, because I'm way too-" Fishlegs said before collapsing on the ground in a deep sleep. In fact, he began to snore loudly
"Huh… that was faster than I thought it would be" Blake said as he saw how fast Fishlegs fell asleep
"Unconscious? Ha! Quick, put his hands in warm water" Snotlout laughed
"We're not going to do that" Hiccup said
"So, what's next?" Blake asked as Gobber began to read what Gothi wrote next
"Okay, now that he's under, she wants to tell him that he's not allergic to Meatlug" Gobber said
"Does that really work?" Snotlout asked with some obvious skepticism
"We're about to see" Blake said as Hiccup walked towards Fishlegs
"Here goes" Hiccup said. Then, he moved his hands in front of Fishlegs and talked in a "mystical" tone "Fishlegs, you're not allergic to Meatlug, you are not allergic to Meatlug"
"Hiccup, I'm pretty sure that tone of voice wasn't necessary" Blake said as Hiccup smiled awkwardly
"So, that's it?" Snotlout asked
"I think so" Blake said
"Okay, let's bring him out of it" Hiccup said
"Now, now, now, hang on a second" Snotlout said as he rubbed his hands together evilly, so Hiccup and Blake looked at each other for a moment
"What are you planning this time?" Blake asked
"We've got an opportunity here, we can rebuild Fishface, we can turn him into a worshipped Viking, a fearless godlike hero as strong as three yaks! A Viking who commands attention! In other words, a Viking worthy of my friendship" Snotlout explained
But, unknown to everyone, Fishlegs heard every word Snotlout said ad he even stood up by himself while asleep
"Snotlout, we are not doing any of that" Hiccup said as he crossed his arms
"I agree, that could end wrong in more than one way" Blake added before looking at Gothi "Can we snap him out of it before something happens?"
Gothi walked towards Fishlegs and snap her fingers in front of him. However, when Fishlegs woke up, his expression was more tough and he flexed his shoulders
"Fishlegs?" Hiccup asked
Fishlegs turned around and talked in a deeper voice "Fishlegs? There's no Fishlegs here" he said before looking at Meatlug "Who's this pudgy little reptile?"
"That was a bit harsh" Gobber said as Meatlug whimpered
"Fishlegs, are you alright?" Hiccup asked
"Are you dead, skinny, one-legged boy?" Fishlegs asked before grabbing Gothi's staff "The name's Bonecrusher" then, he snapped Gothi's staff in two and tossed it over the cliff "Thor Bonecrusher!"
Gothi glared at Fishlegs for snapping her staff, Snotlout started at him in awe and Blake facepalmed himself
"Snotlout, you do realize that you've done?" Hiccup asked, glaring at Snotlout "You've created-"
"My very own super-Viking! Thor Flipping Bonecrusher! I love it!" Snotlout interrupted
"Yeah, this is going to end wrong in more than one way" Blake muttered to himself
Later that day, Snotlout was following Fishlegs as he walked around Berk's plaza still as "Thor Bonecrusher" and not too far away, Hiccup, Blake and Astrid were following them. Both of them explained her what happened to Fishlegs
"And Gothi can't just turn him back?" Astrid asked
"Not without her staff" Hiccup said
"Which 'Thor Bonecrusher' snapped in two and threw off a cliff" Blake said "I just hope he doesn't hurt himself while he's like this"
Every time a Viking walked by Fishlegs, they all seemed confused by his sudden change of attitude
"Is that Fishlegs?" A Viking woman asked
"I don't know" A Viking man answered
"So, TB, you're not afraid of anything, huh?" Snotlout asked as he rushed towards Fishlegs
Then, Snotlout jumped in front of him and threw his sword at him, but Fishlegs easily caught it and tossed it aside
"Ha! Child's play" Fishlegs scoffed
"How about fire?" Snotlout asked as he pointed a torch at Fishlegs
"I scoff at fire!" he said before knocking the torch aside. However, the torch landed on a house and set it on fire
"Fire! My house is on fire! Someone threw a torch on my house!" A Viking woman said
"Perfect, a call to action!" Fishlegs said
He then ran into the burning house and seconds kicked the door open with a sheep under one hand and a woman in the other, which made Snotlout and other Vikings cheer
"Please hold your applause until the end of the rescue," Fishlegs said.
He then grabbed a trough full of water and tossed it at the burning house which got rid of the the flames, so he looked back at the Vikings "You may commence."
They then all cheered loudly and the woman he just saved walked over to him
"Fishlegs…" she said stunned
"Fishlegs? Why does everyone keep calling me Fishlegs?" he asked
"But you're Fishlegs… Fishlegs" The woman answered
"Nonsense, crone!" Fishlegs yelled. He then ran up to a stump and looked at everyone. "People of Berk… it is with great pleasure that I announce the arrival of me, Thor Bonecrusher. The most universally feared and loved Viking in all the land is here to enchant you with my presence"
Hiccup, Astrid and Ragnar looked at one another and all three of them could see that this was bad
"Oh! Look out, the cart!" a Viking yelled
Everyone saw how a cart that a Viking released was rolling towards a baby wrapped in a buddle that was lying inside a small cart. People gasped in horror as the cart got closer and closer to the baby
Fishlegs just smiled and ran towards it, he jumped doing a series of somersaults and the crowd cheered for him again
"What?" Hiccup gasped
"Ah! My baby!" a woman yelled
Fishlegs then landed between the cart and the baby. He then extended his right hand and used his left leg to flip the baby into his other hand. He then kissed the baby and tossed it aside and braced himself for the cart
The cart slammed into his palm and stopped tossing apples into the air and every gasped as the baby landed in its mother's arms. And if that wasn't enough, Fishlegs grabbed the cart and used to catch all the fallen apples, except for one which he tossed to a Viking who was about to eat his boot and then stuck the gap in his boot
"All in a days' work," said Fishlegs proudly
"Did you see that? That was incredible!" said Snotlout looking at Hiccup, Astrid and Blake "He ran, and then did a flip and then toss and then a thing, and then flipping into the other thing. Oh! He's amazing"
"Is it me, or did Snotlout just fall in love with Fishlegs?" Astrid asked in amusement
"He probably did" Blake said
"Bonecrusher! Bonecrusher! Bonecrusher!" Snotlout cheered and the Vikings followed
Then Fishlegs heard animal groaning. "Shh, everyone!" he ordered "Thor hears the sound of a baby yak in trouble"
He then ran towards of this sound and indeed it was a baby yak and it was just a few yards away from jumping off a cliff
Fishlegs jumped further than he'd ever done before, jumped from house to house swung on a dragon figurehead and back flipped until he was in front of the baby yak. He then slammed his hand on its back and squeezed
At once the baby yak went limp and fell to the ground. Everyone had followed Fishlegs and stared in amazement
"Sleep well, little yak" he said getting to his feet. "Sleep well"
"What's next, Thor?" a Viking yelled
"Show us more amazing feats of bravery!" another Viking yelled
"Ha! Ha! Ha! I shall, citizen, I shall" Fishlegs said "But first, I must claim a weapon befitting a god!"
Snotlout then ran up to him, giddy with excitement. "Ha ha ha! Thor, you have to teach me that Viking yak pinch" he said.
A few minutes later, Fishlegs and Snotlout went to the forge, where Gobber was sharpening an axe
"You, simple blacksmith!" Fishlegs said to get his attention
"Simple blacksmith?" Gobber repeated, clearly offended
"Uh, how about this one?" Snotlout asked, handing Fishlegs a dagger
"Oh, that's perfect… for removing splinters" Fishlegs answered before tossing it aside
"What about this one? You can use it to annihilate your enemies" Snotlout suggested with a laugh, before showing Fishlegs a sword
"That's a nice handle, I suppose… if I had wee lady hands" he said tossing it aside, almost hitting Gobber in the process
"I made at handle with my best leather" Gobber muttered
Then, Fishlegs noticed the axe Gobber was sharpening and took it without even asking
"Now, this. This is an axe for a Viking" Fishlegs said as he looked at the axe
"That's Stoick's axe" Gobber said
"Correction: thiswasStoick's axe" Fishlegs said as he began to swing the axe around, nearly chopping Snotlout's head off, as Hiccup, Astrid and Blake arrived
"Uh, Fishlegs?" Hiccup said, making Fishlegs glare at him "I mean, Bonecrusher. Stoick isn't exactly the kind of chief who likes to share his things, especially his axe"
"Neither do I" said Fishlegs as he began to walk away. "If this Stoick fellow wants it, he can always try and take it back for me"
"Oh, man! He's totally called out Stoick! How much do we love this guy?" Snotlout asked in excitement
"Well, I don't like it one bit" Blake muttered
"Agreed" Astrid said with a nod
"Okay, this is getting out of hand" Hiccup said
"You think?" Blake asked
"We need to get Thor Bonecrusher back to Gothi before we lose Fishlegs forever" Hiccup said
"I totally agree" Gobber said "Just one question. Where'd he go?"
Meanwhile, Fishlegs was in the Great Hall, telling every Viking around stories that were probably made up but Fishlegs thought were real and so did every Viking that was listening to him. All while Meatlug was in a corner, looking depressed
"So there I was, Thor Bonecrusher, perched on an inferior dragon as we approach the vicious Scauldron, faster than Odin on his eight-legged horse" Fishlegs narrated
"You can have Hookfang next time, he's a Monstrous Nightmare, scariest dragon of all" Snotlout said
"Monstrous Nightmare? Sounds like a post-mutton trip to the outhouse" Fishlegs scoffed, making all of the Vikings laugh
"Good one" Snotlout said, making his dragon glare at him
Then, Hiccup, Gobber and Blake entered and quickly noticed Meatlug in the corner
"Poor Meatlug. Wouldn't even wear her saddle, look at her. So lonely. We've got to do something with her"
"I'll take care of Meatlug" Hiccup said
"But we still need to make Fishlegs return to normal" Blake said as Fishlegs keep narrating his story
"My chances of survival were slim, I only had one option" he continued
"Ah, ooh, oh, oh! Fly away?" a Viking asked, making Fishlegs glare at him
"I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that," he said
"Sorry" the Viking apologized
"No, I had something very special in store for that Scauldron" Fishlegs said as he vividly imagined the next part of his story
He was riding on top of Meatlug, looking for the Scauldron while the other riders where not too far away, all of them riding on Toothless' back and shivering in fear. Then, Fishlegs jumped of Meatlug's back and charged at the Scauldron
"He narrowly escaped. However, next time, victory shall be mine!" Fishlegs narrated, making all the Vikings cheer for him
"Put me in your next story!" Snotlout said "Just as the background, please?"
"Fishlegs! Is that my axe?" Stoick's voice said, making everyone in the Great Hall look how he entered with evident anger
Stoick started to make his way towards Fishlegs, who didn't look scared at all. In fact, he looked rather amused
"Uh, dad, that's not Fishlegs" Hiccup said, trying to calm down his father
"Don't be daft, I'm looking right at him, holding my exe, by the way"
"Yeah, but he's not himself… not mentally at least" Blake said, also trying to calm him down
"Ah, you must be Stoick the Vast—ly overrated" Fishlegs said
"What did you call me? What did he call me?" Stoick asked, making even more mad than he already was
"That's what we're trying to tell you. He's not himself" Hiccup said
"Short explanation. Gothi hypnotized him to make him stop being allergic to Meatlug, but thanks to Snotlout, he got turned into… this" Blake said, gesturing at Fishlegs but Stoick didn't seem to care
"Give me back my axe!" Stoick growled
"Don't you meanmyaxe?" Fishlegs asked
Stoick snarled at him and cracked his knuckles, looking at Fishlegs as if he was going to attack him at any second now
"He was just polishing it for ya, Chief" Gobber quickly said
"Let me handle this. I will get your axe back, I promise" Hiccup said
"Fine, but make it quick, or I'll take it from him myself" Stoick said
"Chief, let's get out of here. How about a nice piece of mutton?" Gobber asked as he took Stoick out of the Great Hall to avoid more trouble
Later that day, after some effort. Hiccup managed to convince Fishlegs to go see Gothi, so he took him to her hut. She was making some kind of potion for Fishlegs while Blake and Astrid were also waiting
"I hope this won't take long, sorceress. I like a nap after a feast of wild boar in mead" Fishlegs said but Hiccup went straight to talk with Gothi
"Thanks, Gothi we really need Fishlegs back" he said as Gobber arrived to translate what Gothi wrote
Then, without a warning, Gothi opened Fishlegs' mouth and forced him to drink the whole potion she made. In a matter of seconds, Fishlegs rushed towards a bared and thew up in it
"Ugh! What was in that potion?" Astrid asked with some clear disgust as Gothi wrote on the sand
"It was not a potion, just spiced yak bladder" Gobber translated
"Why would you give him that?" Blake asked, so Gothi wrote on the sand again
"She says 'That'll teach him to break her staff'" Gobber translated once again, making Blake facepalm himself
"Not the most delicate delicacy" Fishlegs said as he recovered
"What about getting Fishlegs back?" Astrid asked
"For how things look, I don't think Gothi can hypnotize him again without her staff" Blake said, so Gothi nodded in agreement
"Great, now what?" Astrid asked as Gothi wrote again
"Fear, only a true feeling of terror will bring Fishlegs back to normal" Gobber translated
"But Mr. Thor Bonecrusher over here isn't afraid of anything" Astrid said
"Truer words were never spoken, my fair Viking lady," said Fishlegs placing an arm around her shoulders, making her groan in disgust before he began to walk away "Now, where is that snotty fellow? We have business to discuss"
"Hiccup, you may want to swing by the old homestead," Gobber advised. "Your father is a bit of a… state"
"Go, Astrid and I will keep an eye on Fishlegs" Blake said, placing a hand on Hiccup's shoulder, trying to comfort him a little
Minutes later Hiccup arrived at his house, when he entered, he saw Meatlug pinning Stoick to the floor and licking him
"Get this dragon off me!" Stoick yelled trying to push Meatlug away
"Dad, she's just lonely" Hiccup explained
"If she doesn't get off me, will be having Gronckle for breakfast" Stoick threatened annoyedly
"We need to get Fishlegs back before things get worse" Hiccup said, just before Astrid and Blake rushed in
"Hiccup!" Astrid yelled
"Let me guess. It's Thor" Hiccup said as he turned around
"Yeah, him and Snotlout… they went to fight the Scauldron on their own!" Blake said
Meanwhile with Snotlout and Fishlegs, they were riding on Hookfang, making their way towards the Scauldron's territory
"Can't this overgrown lizard fly any faster?" Fishlegs asked impatiently
"Come on, Hookfang, you're embarrassing me" Snotlout said as he looked at Hookfang, who just snorted as answer
"Onward, Snot-man. We must find a dragon worthy of my command" Fishlegs demanded "My destiny awaits"
Snotlout just laughed nervously and did as Fishlegs told him to do
Not too far away, the other riders were trying to catch up with them
"They have to be around here somewhere, what was Snotlout thinking?"
"He wasn't, he's in love, he'd do anything for his big hunk of bone-crushing love" Astrid said, making Blake and Thunder chuckle
"Well, we'd better find them before they find the Scauldron" Hiccup said
Back with Snotlout and Fishlegs, they were still looking around for the Scauldron
"Just think, Snotlout, at any moment, the giant beast will emerge from the water and I will tame him or he'll kill you" Fishlegs said, making Snotlout laugh nervously
"You're funny, , let me throw something out there. What if we… I don't know… head back, call it a day, relax at the Great Hall tell some more really cool stories. You know, I've heard that a Scauldron's hot water blast can rip the scales off of a Screaming Death" he said
"What gutless fool told you that?" Fishlegs asked before hitting Snotlout's helmet with Stoick's axe "Nonsense. Thor Bonecrusher cannot return to Berk dragon-less. Negative, Snot-man. I am not leaving these waters without my prize"
Then, the Scauldron came out of the water and roared at them
"Time to engage my quarry" Fishlegs said before hitting Snotlout's helmet again "Dive, dragon, dive!"
Hookfang began to charge towards the Scauldron, making Snotlout scream
"My super-Viking's gone rouge!" he screamed
"Fire!" Fishlegs ordered, so Hookfang shot some fire blasts at the Scauldron who dodged them, except for one
"Okay, that ought to do it, right, TB?" Snotlout asked
Fishlegs jumped off of Hookfang and fell towards the Scauldron, which fire a hot water blast at him. The Blast missed Fishlegs and Snotlout, but he got thrown off of Hookfang and fell screaming towards the water, while Fishlegs landed on the Scauldron's neck
"Dance, big boy" he said as the Scauldron tried to shake it off him, as it started to rain and the other riders arrived
"There they are, come on!" Hiccup said, so they all started to fly towards the Scauldron, who was still trying to get Fishlegs off him
"Easy, now, big fella" Fishlegs saif before losing his grip on Stoick's axe, making it land in the water
"Help me!" Snotlout yelled as he tried to keep himself afloat but the rain was making it hard
"Snotlout's in the water!" Astrid said as she noticed Snotlout
"You and the twins grab him. Blake and I will go after Fishlegs" Hiccup said
"Okay. Stormfly, let's go" Astrid said before she and the twins flew towards Snotlout but they lost him in the water, so they began to look after him "Keep looking, he must be here somewhere!"
"So, how hard do you think we need to look?" Tuffnut asked, looking at Ruffnut "I'm thinking some passing glances might do the trick"
"Well, the sooner we rescue Snotlout, the sooner we can watch Fishlegs get eaten by the Scauldron" Ruffnut said
"Well, if you put it that way, let's go!" Tuffnut said, now having a good reason to look for Snotlout
Back with Hiccup and Blake they were trying to get close to the Scauldron. However, it was hard because the Scauldron kept moving as he tried to get rid of Fishlegs and almost knocked them off their dragons a few times
"It will be so much easier if you just submit to your new master" Fishlegs said before the Scauldron dived into the water
Hiccup and Toothless followed them, but Blake and Thunder weren't able to follow them, mostly because Thunder wouldn't be able to use his lighting underwater
"Yeah, we won't do much down there" Blake said, looking down at Thunder, who grunted in agreement
Seconds later, they all came out of the water
"Got you where I want you" Fishlegs said before the Scauldron dived into the water again, followed by Hiccup and Toothless
Back with Snotlout, he was still in the water, trying to keep himself from drowning
"Hookfang!" he called but Hookfang didn't appear "Oh, can this possibly get any worse?"
As soon as Snotlout finished talking, the Scauldron with Fishlegs still on his neck came out of the water and was heading towards him
"Worse! Way worse!" Snotlout yelled as he tried to swim away
Luckily for Snotlout, Hookfang appeared and pulled him out of the water just in time
"Thank you, thank you, thank you! I will never try to give you away ever again!" Snotlout said
Then, Hiccup and Toothless came out of the water just in time to see how the Scauldron was starting to fly up
They began to fly towards the Scauldron, making it shot a blast of scalding water to them
"Toothless, watch out!" Hiccup yelled. Luckily, Toothless managed to dodge the shot and get close to the Scauldron's neck to reach Fishlegs
"Come on, jump over!" Hiccup yelled
"Retreat? In my moment of glory? Never!" Fishlegs answered
The Scauldron shot more blasts of scalding water at them but Toothless dodged them but he wasn't able to dodge a hit from the Scauldron's tail, making him lose control of his flight but Thunder caught them before they hit the water
"Thanks, Blake" Hiccup said as Toothless recovered control of his flight thanks to Thunder's help
"How are we going to get close? Fishlegs is not willing to cooperate, the Scauldron might get us with his scalding water and Thunder can't use his lightning to stun the Scauldron without risking to hurt Fishlegs" Blake said
The Scauldron then managed to toss Fishlegs off his neck, but he was able to grab on to the Scauldron's tail, who looked at him and got ready to hot a scalding water blast at him but Fishlegs was obviously not willing to move
Suddenly, Meatlug flew pass Hiccup and Blake as fast as she could, taking them by surprise
"Was that Meatlug?!" Blake asked in surprise
Meatlug rammed into the Scauldron, making him miss Fishlegs with the scalding water blast
"Yes, Meatlug!" Hiccup cheered but the Scauldron looked at Meatlug and flew towards her in rage. "No, Meatlug!"
"Stop, dragon. I, Thor Bonecrusher, command you to stop" Fishlegs said but the Scauldron didn't listen, so he began to climb up his tail
When Fishlegs managed to climb to the Scauldron's back, he saw how the Scauldron was about to shot a scalding water blast at Meatlog
"No!" Fishlegs yelled. However, his voice returned to normal "Not my Meatlug! You leabe my dragon alone!"
Fishlegs jumped of the Scauldron's back and landed on Meatlug's, guiding her away from the Scauldron, who was about to attack them but Astrid and the twins caught him in a net
"That was a little too close" Hiccup said
"Speak for yourself. That was freakin' awesome!" Tuffnut said in excitement as Fishlegs began to hug Meatlug
"Oh, I'm so sorry, girl. I don't know what happened to me. I just… wasn't myself," he said apologetically, so Meatlug then licked him as answer "Oh, I missed you too… wait how did I-"
"Long story, we'll explain later" Hiccup said
"And you better get ready because you might not like everything that you'll hear" Blake added
Later that evening, they returned to berk, so Stoick and some other Vikings approached them as soon as they landed
"So, what happened to the Scauldron?" Stoick asked
"He's been relocated" Hiccup explained
"And my axe?" Stoick asked
"Uh… also relocated" Hiccup answered, rubbing the back of his head, awkwardly
Stoick glared at his son but before he could say something, another Viking talked
"But what of Thor Bonecrusher?" he asked
Suddenly, Fishlegs fell out of the sky and landed in front of the whole crowd
"Hello…" he said awkwardly, disappointing the crowd and making them walk away, as Meatlug landed next to Fishlegs
"You know, Fishlegs, you didn't sneeze once in the whole ride home" Astrid said
"Yeah, and my legs don't itch anymore" Fishlegs said as Hiccup noticed another detail
"And Meatlug isn't wearing her saddle" he said
"Wait a second… Fishlegs has been allergic to Meatlug's new saddle all along?" Blake asked
"But why, all of a sudden would I be allergic to her saddle?" Fishlegs asked just as confused as Gobber walked towards them
"Well, uh, I've been using a different type of wax on the saddles" he said before pulling out a large chunk of his earwax and presented to them "Look at that"
Stoick, the riders and even the dragons looked away in disgust, as if they were about to throw up, but Fishlegs also sneezed
"I'm allergic to Gobber's earwax? I'm both relieved and disgusted" Fishlegs said before noticing that Snotlout couldn't stop looking at him "What? What is it?"
"I'm just thinking of what might have been" Snotlout said before grabbing Fishlegs' cheeks "You broke my heart, Thor. You broke it right in two"
Then, he kissed Fishlegs' cheek and flew off on Hookfang, leaving Fishlegs really confused… even more than he already was
"Okay, that was really creepy, right?" he asked
"You don't know the half of it" Hiccup said
Yeah, Fishlegs definitely had a lot to catch on
