UA Multiverse Peek
Chapter 45
A Band of Heroic Thieves
Time to get the Sly 2 story started proper. Depending on how long it takes to write, I'll have more for another chapter or just continuing with this one. Also, there will be a big announcement at the end of the chapter. So on with the show.
As everyone returned to see what the Cooper crew would get up to, many were questioning what this Klaww Gang would be doing with the parts they stole. "It's a bunch of robot parts right? What do they think they can do with them?" Kaminari asked as he sat back in his spot. Sero and a few others were just thinking they wanted to use the parts as trophies, but a few others had different ideas.
"Denki, don't forget how long Clockwerk has been alive. Who knows what kinds of things that robot's body could do." Mineta, surprisingly, noted before taking a drink. Momo shivered at the thought but she agreed with the purple teen. "He said he kept himself alive with hate, but it's clear the parts kept him alive as well. Depending on which pieces we're talking about they could have all manner of functions.
Nezu agreed and noted that, "and that's only if they don't try to analyze the metallurgical makeup of the bird. That would also be worth a fortune." Before any further thoughts be voiced, the screen lit up again and showed a house with the front light on.
"I had to call in a few favors to get the goods on the Klaww Gang's local operator." Sly narrated while leaning on his cane and as Tenya was typing at his computer. And Rikki looked on with his arms crossed. "Dimitri Yuga Lousteau. A sort of…. Underworld celebrity. Equally at home in high class art circles, and shady back-alley crimes. Images pan showing both of these matters as the lizard man stands with his back to the camera.
Aoyama let out a loud and semi panicked spit take before coughing. "I'm the villain!?" he sputtered out with some fear about what it might mean for him. "Well it's surprising, but not that strange. After all, we did have Endeavor as a villain previously. And he killed a lot of people." Mina rationalized surprisingly. Wincing before apologizing to Shoto. "It's fine. There's no denying he was a villain," the bi colored teen said.
The screen then shows Dimitri looking at himself in a mirror to create a self-portrait. And then showing him rather ragged as he held and painter's pallet and was holding up a thumb to gauge scale. "He was once a passionate young art student, who worked hard to develop his own visionary style."
Dimitri was then shown swinging from the rafters with a rope around his waist. Swiping with all the paintbrushes as he went by the canvas. Creating something that looked like his face. "Unfortunately, the art world wasn't ready for his "Kinetic Aesthetic"." Sly mused as a patron Dimitri had been demonstrating to, threw a tomato at him. Leaving the lizard dejected.
Instead of spit taking, Aoyama facepalmed at seeing his counterpart's "visionary style". "C'est humide. He can't really be thinking that would impress people," the sparkly teen commented to the chuckles of his classmates. "Well you're point was proven there Aoyama." Izuku said with a snort as the lizard had a tomato thrown at him.
"So, he gave them what they wanted and started forging old masterpieces. His way of punishing those with bad taste." As Sly was thinking this, an angry-looking Dimitri was painting again. This time making copies of various famous works. Each of the subjects looking like him as he copied the work.
Sero was right with Momo, Ida, Ibarra, and Jurota at being appalled by the forgeries that Aoyama's counterpart was making. "That is just….. I don't even know where to begin!" Ida said while trying to get his mental engines running. Shaking his head as fast as his hands often chop.
The lizard was then shown next to a building with the name "La Theatre Formida" holding a martini glass in hand and smoking a cigarette. "Dimitri now runs a night club on the west side. The thumping music, colorful light shows, and a hint of danger lure in chic young patrons from far and wide." As Sly recounts this, some of the inside of the club is shown. A warthog guard snorting as he glared at the camera. And then Dimitri is shown dancing among the crowd before cutting to him with his drink again.
Upon hearing the music, most of the audience started to bop along to the beat. "You know I'm not really a fan of dance music or techno styled tunes, but I can't deny this has a great beat." Jiro commented. Bakugo snorted but couldn't hide that he was tapping his foot to the beat too. "I can only imagine what all goes on behind those doors." Nezu says suspiciously before looking towards Aoyama. The boy sweating profusely.
"And it's here, hidden somewhere, where we'll find the Clockwerk tail feathers." Sly muses as Dimitri is shown lounging in his chair. As Rikki pulls his gloves on tight, Tenya locks and loads his mini crossbow, and Sly holds his cane up with a gleam. "What Dimitri plans to do with the Clockwerk part beyond me. But those plans end: tonight!"
The screen then flashes with Cooper's logo and across it the words: Sly cooper, and the gang in: The Black Chateau
"Oh looking badass for the start of the mission there. Wonder what that crossbow is used for? So are they just rushing in or is there going to be more to these missions? Why would you take the tail feathers? I didn't! Can't even imagine what purpose they'd serve." The teens mused as the title card came across again. "And yet again we have an old fashioned cartoon intro." Pony comments with a chuckle.
Cooper makes his way across the rooftops to the building shown in the introduction. Only going in for a moment before getting a look from Tenya. He climbs up the drainpipe next to the door before pulling out his binocucom. "I tell ya Tenya. It's going to be a real pleasure robbing this night club." Sly says with a smirk.
Tenya nods but is more measure as he says, "I share in your enthusiasm, but before we hit the inside, we need to do a little reconnaissance work." Izuku questioned what the turtle had in mind, and the brains noted that he'd installed a special antenna on their safehouse for their first job. "Hacking in to Dimitri's satellite array."
Ida and Izuku winced slightly at hearing both their excitement at stealing from someone. "I mean, we know he's affiliated with some gang or cartel, but still." Ida says to himself and tries to rationalize what they are doing. Only to feel impressed and uneasy as the turtle noted his special antenna to hack the night club computers.
He then points out where Cooper needs to go and leaves the racoon to it. Sly leaps across the rooftops and walks along the wires to make his way to an old water tower. But not without finding a clue bottle on the roof of a building. Tenya noting that it was some sort of code. "If you bring me more codes, I should be able to crack it," he noted just as Izuku was arriving.
And again Ida is impressed by his counterpart. "I definitely don't approve of what they are doing, but I can respect the skill he clearly has in various subjects and the like. Especially hacking and code breaking," the young speedster muses as he watches on.
Once there, Sly pulls out his binocucom again and looks up at the dish atop the tower. "Sly, I need you to hack into Dimitri's communications array, so that we'll have access to his database." Cooper looks at Tenya funny and asks how he was supposed to do that. "Climb to the top of that tower and reposition the dish to point at my Safehouse antenna."
The racoon gives an affirmative and quickly climbs up the side of the tower. Checking the back of the dish, he types in some commands to make it tilt down and point at the Safehouse. "Two to go." Tenya announces and then gives the coordinates for the next dish. After a bit of running on rooftops, Izuku finds and repositions it. And the last dish he hurries to with a sprint. "Be careful when sprinting. As this is sure to attract any guards to the noise!" Tenya notes as Cooper runs past the last dish before repositioning it.
Bakugo scoffs slightly before saying, "why doesn't he just do like he did the last time. Bust in and take them out?!" Izuku and a few of the others though have their suspicions. "Last time we watched, they had clearly defined targets. And they weren't really operating in the public eye. Now they are since this club is a popular place." Izuku, then Momo, then Juzo noted. Each giving the other thumbs up or nods while Bakugo fumes at having his assumption thrown back at him.
"I agree with their suspicion. I can imagine a few ways to get what they need, but they don't have a clear path to get to the target. Heck they don't even know where the target is." Nezu notes as he was only operating with what he could see. Turtle Tenya likely had blueprints to work with to gain a better understanding of the situation.
A burst of light and data flash from the Safehouse antenna and starts pulling from the satellite atop the nightclub. "Nice work Sly. I'm downloading from Dimitri's mainframe as we speak." Tenya announces before Sly asks what's next. "Your next job is to break into the nightclub and take some reconnaissance photos of the Clockwerk tail feathers. To get inside you'll have to sneak through an old wine cellar beneath town."
Sly gives an affirmative and makes his way to the cellar. But inside he isn't alone. For good and bad. "Good to see you little buddy. I guess the way through the wine cellar is guarded by those rats. Tenya thought you might want some help clearing them out." Rikki said while looking at the guards.
Ida again was uncomfortable as his counterpart gloated about stealing from the night club. 'Especially given it is operated by a friend. Well, he's a friend in this dimension. Probably just a gang leader in that dimension.' Ida thought as the scene continued to play.
Rikido has a big smile as his counterpart gets his moment to shine. "I wonder what all I'll be doing here?" he thinks aloud while leaning forward to get a better look. Izuku smiles and is also interested to see how the pair handle the thugs before them.
"Sounds like fun. You and me. Back-to-back." Sly says with a smirk. And Rikki is just excited. "Totally! Outnumbered! Fighting impossible odds! It's perfect!" he says before both come around and lay into the guards. Rikki showing his new prowess by knocking two guards out with one heavy swing. When Sly strikes, it knocks the goons back, but not down or out. Some of them bouncing back up and kicking him if he gets too close.
Bakugo barks out a laugh as Cooper get's knocked on his ass by the thugs. "Well stealth is his strength." Toru reasons to the Pomeranian's frustration. "Yeah. But Rikki though, wow. He is just plowing through them!" Izuku says with a laugh. With the big lipped teen smiling at how well his other self is fighting.
Rikki though cleaves through the goons easily and the way is clear. "Hold on Sly. Let me lower those bars for you!" Rikki says before lifting a heavy gate to lower a set of bars to let Sly pass. So long as he puts some extra oomph in his jump. "Looks like you're on your own from here." Rikki notes with a shrug. One Sly returns before thanking his friend for the backup.
"I might be stronger with my quirk, but I'd definitely say you and Shoji are probably the strongest of us without their quirks." Izuku complimented Rikido. He blushed as a few others said the same. "Yeah I hate to admit it, but he was always able to lift more than me during classes." Bakugo pouted and grumbled. The girls meanwhile smiled at the friendship the animal pair on screen had. "He really is getting his chance to shine." Tsuyu said with a small smile.
Sly sneaks his way through the cellar, crawling under tables and past the warthog guards that are watching. But they can only see what comes into view of their flashlights. With large revolvers at the ready when they spot something. Cooper opens an air vent that leads into the club and spies another flashlight guard.
"In order to deactivate those yellow lasers, you'll have to take out that guard. Sneak up behind him and then knock him into the air with your cane. Then catch him with the crook and slam him down hard!" Tenya advises. And Sly smirks before doing just that. The lasers are cut off as the goon is taken out.
"Stealth mode!" Toru says in a stage whisper. Tokoyami and Shihai were excited as Cooper made his way through the shadows and deeper into enemy territory. Everyone winced as they saw the racoon taking out the guard with a slam but the fighters did compliment the skill. "Quick and efficient. Fits for a thief." Tetsutetsu says with a nod.
"The stealth slam only works on guards that haven't seen you. So, remember that as you take this next guard out." Tenya advises as another guard is patrolling the foyer at the front of the theater. Sly takes the flashlight guard out but then has trouble in the next room. As he could only slam one rat grunt down before the rest were alerted and he had to fight them.
Izuku frowns at the weakness of the attack but Aizawa mentioned it was no different from how he would fight. "I'm not great at fighting foes that can see me. As you've said, my fighting style is best for ambushes. Still, Cooper can fight well when needed," the insomniac says with a nod of respect sent the racoon's way. Making Izuku blush slightly.
Once he was done though, Sly made his way to the stage behind the grand piano. Noticing another air vent. One Tenya surmised could lead to some important equipment. And he was right. Inside the vent system, Izuku could see Dimitri patrolling around a large machine. Taking a photo of a generator that seemed to be powering all the security in the room and then the most important piece: the Clockwerk tail feathers.
"Ingenious! Dimitri is using Clockwerk tail feathers as printing plates! Given their rare alloy, they'll never wear out. Unlimited forged money!" Tenya admires from the view transmitted by the binocucom. Izuku then get's a picture of Dimitri and Tenya tells him to come back.
Melissa was surprised but could see the sense. "It is quite clever. Destroying monetary values aside, it's a good plan for something like that. Though I do have to question how he was able to make them into plates in the first place," she analyzes while Aoyama feels a mixture of shame and pride at her musings. 'Not like that's too unusual anymore,' he thinks sadly.
Back at the safehouse, Tenya breaks down the issues going forward. "The recon photos are a grim reminder of what the modern thief is up against. Spotlights. Stamped up patrols. The sum of it all renders a direct assault impossible." As Tenya is explaining this, he shows the matters on a screen he put up prior to illustrate. He then notes that he needed more information to put together a plan.
"First, replace this bugged painting with one Dimitri has in his office. Second, if you see the boss, tail him. We might learn something by studying his movements. Once we've got a proper understanding of the situation, those Clockwerk tail feathers are as good as ours."
Nezu nods and compliments Ida's counterpart (making the boy in question happy and uncomfortable at the same time) for understanding the bigger issue. "I think I can imagine how they'll go about getting the part. But it will take more set up." The rat like man said while calculating the possibilities afforded to the thieves.
"I think I understand more of what our dynamic is as a team." Izuku notes with a nod. Pointing to Tenya he says, "you make the plans, analyze the situations, and can provide information on unforeseen circumstances. Maybe do even more out in the field." Rikido speaks up next and notes, "Cooper meanwhile isn't just the leader. He's the approach and insertion man. He can get in and out without anyone noticing. Course it feels like he's missing something right now." And Tenya finishes by saying, "your counterpart was originally the getaway driver, now you can clear the way. With your prodigious strength, you can clear most guards with just a punch. Though I wonder what else you can do."
"How about we shut up and watch to see!" Bakugo shouts as they were talking over the planning and then into Cooper wandering around the town to collect more of the clue bottles. Making the trio cough and apologize to the others in the audience.
Izuku nods before heading out and looking for some start beacons. The first being on a boat. "I just intercepted an email from Dimitri. He's ordered his guards to ring the boat's bell when the coast is clear." Tenya reports but neither he nor Sly are sure what it means. So Sly rings the bell and hides on the back of the boat. And right as he does, Dimitri makes a big show of popping out. Music seemingly playing as he starts strutting through the streets of Paris.
Again, everyone vibes along to the music that seems to be playing as Dimitri is walking through the town. Even Aoyama himself repeating some of the cheesy lines and broken phrases that the lizard kept dropping as the strutted about town. "I think I get why he's your counterpart man. It's not just because he's French. You both have this kind of show off or weird sort of confidence to you." Mineta says with a scratch of his chin. Aoyama hums and sees some of what the short teen was getting at.
Izuku smiles at this and quickly makes his way to the rooftops and follows the boss from above. The lizard singing to himself as he walks around town. He turns to look around a few times, but he never spots Izuku keeping an eye on him from above. Even as he walks along the power lines.
Mic bops along to the beat before stopping to note, "is it weird to anyone else that he doesn't notice the racoon standing on the wires?" Midnight and Aizawa shake their heads before the latter says, "nah. Most people never look up. Makes it great for sneaking up on them."
But he can't stay above the ground forever. Dimitri moved past the water tower and down a flight of stairs. Forcing Izuku to move to street level and see what he was doing. And he was entering a code that Sly memorized. Even as the boss had trouble remembering the last digit for the code. "Great work Sly. He had no idea you typed in that secret code. Hold on. Interesting. That doorway leads to the nightclub's aqua pump room. This might be useful for the heist!" Tenya announces before suggesting that Izuku takes care of the other job.
The Cooper gang counterparts can't really see the reasoning behind what the turtle is getting at. "The aqua pump likely moves the water to things like the bathrooms, but I don't understand how that could give us a path to the tail feathers." Ida ponders aloud. Nezu meanwhile hums as this new information comes in and starts to see a possibility. 'No! He couldn't!' the principal thinks while a smile comes across his face.
Izuku nods and makes his way through the streets to find the painting that Tenya had outfitted with a bug. "Nice. So we'll be able to listen in on his conversations!" Sly admires and the turtle noted it would be useful to have an ear on the inside. "Just be careful with the fine art! Take any damage and the painting's ruined." Tenya warns before noting where Cooper could go to get into the club.
"Replicating "The Scream"? That's a bit low." Momo chastises upon seeing the painting. Sero nods and noted the obvious low detailing and quality of the paint. "It's a forgery. It's not supposed to be exact!" Ida says with a blush. 'Wait why am I defending my counterpart's ability to make fake paintings?' he thinks as the scene continues. (Yes I know it actually looks like Sly in game, but it being the actual The Scream makes more sense)
While the art critics were discussing, Izuku was focused on the fact he had to avoid a fight even more than usual. "One good hit and turtle Tenya has to start all over huh. But even the rooftops aren't completely safe. So Cooper will have to alternate between ground and high ground to mumble mutter…."
The racoon takes to the rooftops again, but now he has to avoid any guards that might be patrolling the same level. Eventually getting to the outdoor section of café attached to the club. He leapt up to the tops of the lights and ran along the lines, before sidling along the wall to the window leading into the interior of the café.
Izuku smiles at seeing how his counterpart handled getting around and away from the various goons patrolling the area. "Actually, why are these, I guess employees of the club patrolling? I always think of that as a hero thing." Ochaco notes with confusion. All Might clears his throat and admits that it was fairly common for gangsters to do as well. "Maybe the locals don't mind because the club brings in some extra patrons for their establishments too," the number one says with a shrug.
Inside, he could see some of the janitors cleaning the area. "The schematic indicates that door is locked from the inside." Tenya notes as it was the door leading into Dimitri's office. "That alright. I never was one for the direct approach." Sly snarks slightly with a smile. Tenya gives him a flat look before saying, "swell. Because the indirect approach, is up there through that air vent."
"Ah I was correct." Nezu says with a nod. "Wait how did he get the schematics and blueprints for that building?" Sen questioned with a confused glare. "How else? They stole them. It makes sense that 1-A is stealing, just like they steal from gack!" Monoma starts and then is shut up by Itsuka. "Rude comments aside, I do think he's right. Not like they have to follow the same rules to get some blueprints." Itsuka says while shaking her hand.
Izuku's smirk doesn't fade as he leaps atop one of the over hangs of a bar and slips behind a janitor. Sneaking past him, he gets closer to another area that had more tables, a piano and laser security. As the rat janitor turned his head away, Sly slipped right by and jumped up onto the tables. Then the piano and up onto another overhang. Pressing himself against the wall he slid along to get to the next balcony.
Izuku and many of his friends feel tension at watching his counterpart slip and sneak around the janitors and other security measures. "Can't deny this version of you is really smooth Midoriya." Shoji notes with a watchful eye spying the way the racoon moved through the room. The green teen smiled and took notes on how Cooper was getting around as well. 'Could be useful for my own maneuverability. Sure I don't have his same talents or whatever, but it would be good to know for later.'
"Dimitri coming at you loud and clear! I got to high five my main men working the disco! Spice sales are up, up, UP! Keep on moving that spice, aight! And to every homeslice down in the special fake moneymaking room, that nice pay out. Keep full steaming ahead with my new Clockwerk plates! All of us retire early! You picking up what I'm throwing down? Peace OUT!" Dimitri announces over the intercom as Cooper runs along the cables to and between the chandeliers.
Everyone tilts their heads to the side at hearing Dimitri's announcement. "I have no idea what he was saying." Izuku says in confusion. None of the other teens had a clue and were looking at Aoyama as if he could translate. "If he was speaking French I could, but I couldn't follow a word of that either!" the flashy teen defends.
Mic grimaced as he did understand and knew that it was all very old hip hop and rap slang. 'Just butchered SOOO badly!' he thought with a shaking of his head. All Might let out a strained chuckle as he could remember some of the same phrases from his time in America. With all sorts of artists trying to call back to or remember those days before quirks.
He then slides along the wall behind the waterfall and gets to the air vent. Getting in Dimitri's office with ease and replacing the paintings. "Nice job Sly. If you can get that painting back to the safehouse in one piece, I can sell it through my internet connections. And make us a ton of coin." Tenya notes. And Sly does just that. Stepping out of the office, he eases over to the first over hang, climbs up the side, and then hurries out the door. Easily bypassing the guards outside and getting back to the safehouse.
Ida winces again as he thinks about the fact his counterpart also has black market connections to sell stolen goods. Eventually rationalizing it as another necessary evil. "You guys or those guys whatever are kind of all about that kind of evil." Bakugo snarks with a smirk directed at Ida. "Uh, I thought that all aloud didn't I?" he says before getting a confirmation. Having a blue shade as he looks down in embarrassment.
While he was doing that, Rikki had his own mission to do. "Okay uh…. What was the code. Oh Right!" Rikki thinks aloud before punching in the code to open the way to the aqua pump room. Once inside, Tenya relayed that he needed to get to the aqua pump room and sabotage it.
Half the teens snorted at Rikki struggling to remember the passcode to the door. The other half though were curious to see how the hippo would go about sabotaging the machinery. "What if there are guards down there? He'll probably have to take them out to keep the job a secret. That's unsettling to think about. Well they are thieves trying to take down a criminal syndicate." The audience muses as the action on screen plays out.
"Geez, I don't know. How am I supposed to get past these lasers?" Rikki noted. "You should be able to break that power box by throwing something at it. Stomp next to some smaller items and then throw them at the box. Try doing it with those blocks of ice." Tenya advised.
"Uh….. how does that work?" Rikido asks with a tilt of his head. None of the other teens have a clue as the turtle explains the method that Rikki could pick up items. "Seems like an odd step when you think about it. I mean he could just pick them up." Rin said while scratching his head. "Either way, it's still pretty awesome and manly!" Tetsutetsu exclaims with Kirishima agreeing with him. "But won't they notice with him stomping and smashing around," the red head asks. "Nah. Not with all the other noises that are probably going on down there." Rikido notes before focusing on the action again.
Rikki nodded and hurried over to the ice machine. He wound up his stomp and the shockwave caused the block to be bounced up into his hands. "Whew! Chilly. Now then. Ha!" Rikki says before chucking the block with both hands. Basically ignoring the lasers and impacting hard enough to crack the power box. The hippo hums before turning back to stomp and get another block of ice. Throwing it and one more block to break the box and shut down the lasers.
Kaminari comments about it taking three attacks to get through. "Just like a video game," he says with a scratch of his chin. Mic notes it as well but before either of them could say more, Aizawa silenced them. "I still can't believe you used old video games to explain the entrance exams," the insomniac said with a shake of his head.
"You're strong Rikki. Try picking up other things in the room." Tenya suggests and Rikki tests the limits of his stomp to throw a chair, a small box, and barrel at the second power box. Once it was shut down, Rikki made his way deeper in. Grimacing at the sight of a flashlight guard with his torch pointed his direction. "You can probably pick him up if you knock him out first. Try throwing a block of ice at that guard. Then stomp to pick him up." Tenya suggests.
Ida hums before saying, "I wonder if he needs to throw three of them because he's only doing a bit of damage by throwing the items through the lasers." Izuku looks at the actions and noted it could be possible. "Or it really is just because this whole world is like a game and gaagas!" Kaminari starts before getting jabbed in the neck by Jiro. "We don't care if it's possibly a game universe!" she exclaimed before sipping her drink.
Rikki cracks his knuckles and back before trying just that. Nailing the guard in the face with a block of ice before leaping up and stomping. Leaving the guard flailing around as Rikki held him above his head. At least until he chucked the guard at a wall. Making sure he wouldn't get back up again.
Everyone watching winced at seeing how "The Rikki" took out the guard. "Nice combo, but man it looked painful!" Manga said with an exclamation point and the kanji for pain showing on his face. Bakugo though approved and respected the way the hippo got things done. "Brutal, effective, and bringing the hurt. Why can't I be this guy!?" Bakugo says with a grumble.
In the aqua pump room, there were a few rat guards waiting. And they would be used in a rather sinister option proposed by Tenya. "Throw the rats into that open pipe. They should plug up the pump and sabotage the system." Rikki just shrugged and hurried forward to knock out a guard. Stomping to pick the goon up before chucking him down the pipe.
For the next one, he decides to get a little fancy and uppercuts the rat in the chin. Catching his foe before spinning and throwing the guard into the pipe. Two more come and Rikki has to take one out and use the other to plug the pipe. Waiting for the next to come and punching this one before stomping and throwing the goon into the pipe once more.
Bakugo's smirk grows as he sees and hears how Rikki was supposed to sabotage the pump. Kamakiri mirrors this and watches with some excitement. But they were the only ones who were okay with what was going on.
The human Cooper Gang counterparts paled as they saw what and how Rikki was going about his bit of destruction. Ida couldn't even articulate how unsettled he was about his counterpart suggesting what clearly looked like murder. Especially as the pump exploded and water filled the room. "Damn. Your other self is kinda ruthless prez." Mina says with an uneasy chuckle.
The aqua pump rumbles loudly as one more guard is thrown in and this is the straw that breaks the camel's back. The pump explodes and water is draining into the room. Rikki makes his way outside as Tenya reports the success. "With the aqua pump out of commission, they'll be forced to route water through the old pipe tower. Those fools! They're playing right into our hands!" Tenya exclaims as Rikki makes his way back to the safehouse.
"And my ruthless comment is even more accurate. Man. Wonder why he's so up for this?" Mina questioned. While the Cooper counterparts were still upset, Nezu had his own thought and says, "I believe it's something like how I feel seeing my planned and predicted bouts of chaos coming to fruition. He's just looking forward to finishing the job and his plan being finished." Mina and Kaminari both pale at that as they remembered their final exams. And how easily Principal Nezu trapped them to fail.
Back at the safehouse, Tenya starts his next slideshow. "Okay fellas I've constructed a plan to get at the Clockwerk tail feathers. But we'll need to pull off a few more jobs to set things up for the heist." The turtle explains before showing images of the inside of a theater and stage with guards patrolling. "First Sly will have to pick a few pockets in theater, so that we'll have access to the spotlight control center," he says and explained that they'd be able to turn off all of the security around the printing press.
He then shows images of some alarm horns scattered around town before addressing Rikki. "We'll need your muscle Rikki to take out all of the exterior alarm horns. We don't want anything to alert the guards while we pull of the big job." Tenya says before getting to his eventual part. Namely infiltrating the disco tech to drop a large mirror ball. "Trust me, it's all part of the plan." Tenya says as the screen cuts to black.
"Aha. So that's it. Quite clever your counterpart is. At least as far as creating a plan. I wonder if he has anything for unforeseen incidents." Nezu says with a scratch of his chin. Ida once again feels conflicted at feeling proud, ashamed, excited, and uneasy. 'What do you have in mind Turtle-san?' Ida thinks as he stands to stretch his legs.
Seems like I can only do half of a Sly 2 operation before it fills up the pages. So the second half will have to be in the next chapter. Got a bad feeling that it'll take at least three chapters for Sly 3.
Hard to say if this will work, but I'm making a and I'm hoping my readers can help me out. I've been putting it off, because I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested or do anything with it. But given the positive responses lately, I'm doing it as a way to try and get a few more funds to work with. Especially if I'm wanting to create images and comics that those who are interested in can get their hands on.
I know I'm no artist, so I have to rely on others outside. And I hope those who read my stories will give their art a look and maybe commission them too. As well as donating to me to support these endeavors. Check it out under HanBaron to support my stories and maybe make them into comics you can all enjoy.
