Chapter 962

Do I Need To Bark

Young Allison opened her eyes and looked over to where Savannah was earlier. She thought Savannah would be gone. She wasn't.

Savannah waited for Young Allison to wake up. She looked back at her and smiled.

They both knew one day there was a pretty good chance THIS was something they might wake up to every morning. There would probably be a whole lot of other activity involved as well.

Savannah didn't want to cramp Young Allison's routine.

"You can go ahead and use the restroom first." Savannah said. "I know Vanna and Allison sometimes try to be the first one in."

Young Allison always had her own bathroom. She never needed to share it with anyone. The only time it happened is when they went camping or were training, which was often the same thing. Everything was 'training' of some type, even if it was called something different. Cameron made very efficient use of their time under the guise of many different events or activities. She figured the main reason was so her mother wouldn't complain about excessive training.

"It's not something I've really thought about." Young Allison said. "It makes sense."

Savannah was aware being with a human female was much different than being with a female Terminator. Everybody always made it work, so there was no reason they couldn't either.

"The future may present many complications." Savannah said.

Young Allison was sure there would be many. She was sure there were things she hadn't even thought of which would occur or create an issue.

"We'll deal with them as they arise." Young Allison said.

Young Allison headed off to the restroom.

Savannah silently got out of bed and went to the room door and listened. It was quite on the other side. Most likely if one of the Metal girls was there, they quickly moved away. Savannah figured they spent the night there, if they hadn't been standing in the room watching them sleep. Somehow it seemed like it was the more likely scenario. Maybe she should ask to see a couple of images saved from their video files of the two of them asleep, side by side.

She looked for Young Allison's tablet and contacted CamNet. She asked to see the location of Cammy and Anna. It showed Anna was in the bunker and Cammy was in the kitchen. Maybe they weren't spying on them all night. Maybe they moved away when she first woke up. It was a more likely scenario.

"Your turn…." Young Allison said as she exited the bathroom.

Savannah looked Young Allison over.

"Did you brush your teeth?" Savannah asked.

Young Allison looked at Savannah for a moment. She saw she was serious.

"Yes, Mom…." Young Allison said. "I flushed too."

Savannah smiled at her and headed for the restroom.

"Personal hygiene is very important." Savannah said.

Young Allison thought about it for a moment. Maybe there were other things she needed to be a little more attentive to going forward.

"Thank you." Young Allison said.

Savannah saw Young Allison strip off her top before the door closed. She took in what she saw. Young Allison looked the same as every other Allison.

Young Allison quickly changed and waited for Savannah to exit the restroom.

When Savannah came out of the bathroom she saw some of the nice things Young Allison did for her.

The bed was made and Savannah's clothes were neatly laid out for her.

"Thank you, Allison." Savannah said.

Young Allison smiled at her.

"I'll start on breakfast." Young Allison said.

Savannah was pretty sure Cammy would try to make herself useful. She would try to further cover up she was spying on them.

"I think Cammy is already working on it." Savannah said.

Savannah pointed at the tablet but said nothing further.

Young Allison looked at it and understood. Savannah didn't want to alert the Metal girls they checked on their position. It wasn't really spying on them as much as it was keeping track of them.

Savannah wanted to do something for Young Allison. She used to do it a lot for her when she was younger. Everything was more complicated now. There were more things which needed to be done, and not enough time to do them.

"I'll brush your hair after I get dressed." Savannah said.

Young Allison sat at her desk and started studying some material she was working on.

Savannah looked over at her and stripped her night clothes off with her back to Young Allison. She dressed with the clothes Young Allison laid out for her. She knew they all 'saw' each other in the locker room at the pool. It was nothing new for either of them except the setting. It was a bedroom, Young Allison's bedroom. She didn't want things to escalate prematurely. There needed to be a certain amount of restraint and control.

Once she was dressed. Savannah quickly checked herself in the mirror. She thought she was presentable.

Savannah picked up Young Allison's hair brush. She gently brushed Young Allison's hair as she studied. There was a soft and loving touch to it. The hair brushing itself spoke volumes.

Cammy poked her head in the door after she gently knocked first. It was clear she gave them some privacy, but not too much.

"I have your breakfast ready." Cammy said. "You can come when you're finished here and ready to eat."

Cammy watched Savannah gently brush Young Allison's hair. She thought of when Savannah did it for her. It was a silent way for Savannah to express her love. She realized Savannah did the same thing to Young Allison. It was beautiful to watch, but more beautiful to have it done. She wondered if Savannah would ever brush her hair again. She started to feel a glitch impulse but was able to suppress it. There were probably a lot of things Savannah and her would never do again. It would most likely be a lot of the little things.

Young Allison wanted to acknowledge Cammy when she saw Savannah wasn't going to.

"Thanks, Cammy." Young Allison said.

Savannah didn't want Cammy to start to worry.

"We'll be there in a minute." Savannah said. "Thank you."

Cammy smiled and headed back toward the kitchen.

Young Allison looked at Savannah with her big brown puppy dog eyes.

"Will you stay?" Young Allison asked.

Savannah wanted to. She wanted to keep Young Allison from devoting too much time to the operations. Other matters called her. It seemed there was never enough time to do everything anymore.

"I need to go back and do some things." Savannah said. "I need to check on Cameron."

Young Allison knew it meant 'watch over' Cameron and make sure she didn't go off on some mission alone. She didn't want Savannah to do it either. She wanted to be there for her and help her. She wanted to help Savannah share the burden.

"I understand." Young Allison said. "I'll be able to help you with it soon."

Savannah swallowed hard. She knew it was something inevitable, but she was in no hurry to see it happen. She would be very worried for Young Allison's safety.

"Please, don't make it too soon." Savannah said.

It was clear she meant it too.

Young Allison didn't believe it was something they had a whole lot of control over. There was someone else who determined what they would do and how they would do it.

"I'll do as Cameron wants me to do." Young Allison said. "Just like you will and already do."

Savannah felt a little defeated. It was something beyond their control. They could influence it, but they couldn't control it.

"I know, Allison." Savannah said. "I know."

Savannah knew life was full of sacrifices for the ones they loved.

Cameron was unsure why John started to pinch himself. It seemed very odd and strange. All she did was make a simple statement. She wondered if there was something wrong with him. She already believed he suffered from some type of learning disability. Maybe it was a further manifestation of the problem. Maybe it was something different. She wanted to find out more. She wondered if she might need to physically restrain him. It would probably create a problem if she did. She could think of a few other things to redirect his attention and focus.

"John, what are you doing?" Cameron asked.

John wanted to be sure It wasn't a dream after his dream in a dream last night. He wasn't even sure how many of them there were or how elaborate it was. He already forgot the details of much of it. He still remembered the overall gist of everything.

"I just wanted to check to make sure I was awake." John said.

Cameron wondered if her whispering to John influenced his dreams any. She decided to play it out a little. Maybe some of what she wanted to happen actually happened. Even if it only happened in his head, it was a start.

"Were you dreaming about other females?" Cameron asked. "I HOPE it was Savannah and Allison - Young Allison. I don't mind if you dream about them. It better not have been anybody else."

He wasn't sure what it all was or meant.

"I think it was more of a nightmare." John said. "I didn't seem to have any control. It all seemed very real at the time."

It made Cameron wonder why he touched her tummy area. She planted more than a few ideas in his head as he slept. She wondered if he would come clean or not. She decided to push it a little and see where it went.

"Were you checking to see if I was pregnant?" Cameron asked. "Did you think I was Allison - Young Allison? What exactly have you been doing in your dreams? Are they really dreams? It wasn't anyone else was it?"

John tried not to look at Cameron. It was clear the implication was about Riley - Future Riley. He expected her to start scanning him as she questioned him further. It wasn't something he looked forward to.

"I don't know what I thought." John said. "It was just a dream. Dreams aren't real."

John knew for a fact dreams did seem real at times. There were actually times during dreams, or even nightmares, when he didn't know they weren't really happening, except in his head. He was certain there were people who died in their sleep because of the dream they experienced. It was a real case of mind over matter. The people actually killed themselves with their own subconscious thoughts. They were thoughts they didn't have much control over.

He felt he was lucky enough to be able to usually wake up from a dream gone wrong. Sometimes some of the images Within his head seemed to take a direction of their own, especially those ones right before he woke up. Strangely enough, it usually happened on the nights Cameron actually did stay with him. Sometimes she was right there to soothe him when he woke up. Maybe she could tell he was somewhat distressed before he was able to escape from the dream. He never realized Cameron might be the one who was responsible for the 'dream'.

John really hoped Cameron wouldn't continue to press him about whatever he thought in the early hours of the morning when he was asleep.

Cameron was sure he did think she was 'Young Allison'. She spent an hour whispering in his ear…. It was what she wanted him to think of anyway. The more he accepted it, the sooner it would happen. He still seemed to have a 'hang up' about a few things. None of them were a problem for her. She knew it wasn't a problem for Young Allison either. It was part of her conditioning as well. She was ready for everything anyone could offer her already.

John was still confused about one thing. He wanted Cameron to give him some details. More than likely it was going to open up a new can of worms since he inquired about it. It was still something he wanted to know a little bit more about.

"Where did you say Young Allison and Savannah were?" John asked. "You said they were in the same bed."

Cameron didn't see it as a big deal. She asked Anna to keep her updated as to what happened. She didn't want to ask Cammy. Everything with Cammy was always a problem, especially when it dealt with Savannah. She was glad she wasn't a Bitch like Cammy was. She wondered why she even created her in the first place. It was a total mistake on every level. There were other alternatives she could have used instead.

She knew Savannah wanted her. She wanted Savannah. Why did she stick Cammy between them? She needed to remind herself why she took a step back. She didn't want Savannah to fixate on her and bypass John. It seemed to be what happened anyway. She did know Savannah attempted to be with John on at least three different occasions she was aware of. All of them ended in failure because of Skynet. She believed Savannah was right where she needed to be.

"Savannah stayed with Cammy at the Young Residence." Cameron said. "It was like a sleepover for the girls. It gave them an opportunity to share some closeness with each other. Not everything needs to be convoluted like the thoughts in your mind."\

Savannah was very clear to her about how things should work. Sex, and things sexual, were only a small part of a real relationship. Any relationship based on sex alone was doomed to failure. It was all the other things except the sex, which made the relationship worthwhile and work. Sex acts were simply a way to express and share the emotional love in a physical manner. She was pretty sure her relationship with John was just the opposite.

John thought a little more may have happened. He wasn't sure exactly what the nature of the girl's relationship evolved into. He did know where it would eventually lead. He didn't have to look any further than Allison and Vanna to know. He didn't necessarily think the thoughts in his mind were convoluted. He was pretty sure if they were convoluted in anyone's mind, it was Cameron's mind. All he did was make a logical assumption based upon what he knew Cameron wanted to happen. As far as he knew, she may have placed them in the same bed together. He knew it wouldn't be the first time she was responsible for such an act.

"I thought you meant they were 'together'." John said. "It wouldn't be the first time a couple of people went to sleep alone, and woke up with someone else in their bed."

He didn't think he needed to point to the Honeymoon Suite at the casino hotel in Las Vegas specifically to indicate what he meant and who it involved. It was exactly what Cameron did with Savannah and him. Even if Cameron wasn't in Palmdale at the time, her clone was. He wasn't so sure if Cammy would do all of Cameron's bidding at this point in time. He figured Cameron would threaten her with some type of punishment if she didn't comply with what she wanted, the way she wanted it, and when she wanted it.

Cameron considered chastising John for asking about a private matter between two people. She didn't want to do it in this case. She wanted John to think a little.

"You know Savannah better than that." Cameron said. "She'll never compromise or take advantage of anyone."

Cameron wanted to remind John THAT was his job, but said nothing. She already reminded him last night. It appeared to have worked too. It clearly was the case when he checked to see if she was pregnant. He thought she was a version of Young Allison. It was what she wanted to happen. She decided to shake things up a little. It was time to change the nature of the conversation. She was pretty sure she could get John to think about a few other things.

"I can go if you want to make up for lost sleep." Cameron said as she started to get up.

John could see she was naked when she moved. She looked totally hot like always. There was no reason for him not to share some with her. She did all the work last night and drained him dry in the process. He was fully recharged and ready to go.

"You can stay." John said quickly. "I'd like it if you did."

Cameron wanted to 'play' around a little. She wanted to remind John there were various options available.

"Would you like it better if there were two or three of us with you?" Cameron asked.

John was thrilled at the prospect of it and what Cameron always promised him was in his future. He thought there was a little bit more to it on a personal level. He didn't think it would take very much for one of the people involved to feel they were short changed or didn't get enough time. More than likely if they felt that way, they would think it was because there was something wrong with them. They would think they weren't pretty enough, or they would think they weren't good enough. He really thought it was something Cameron should think about and consider going forward. He was pretty sure if Cameron ended up with one second less than either Savannah or Young Allison, it would be exactly the way she would feel.

He thought the solution to it would be to ask either Savannah or Young Allison, or both of them, to ask Cameron not to keep track of how much time was spent with each of them for whatever they did and whenever they did it. It still seemed like it was going to be a problem no matter what occurred.

"It would be a lie to say the thought of it isn't enticing but I don't want to hurt you or anyone else either." John said. "You need to think of the feelings of others besides you and me. You always need to remember not everyone is the same."

Cameron didn't want to hear about any moral judgments from John right now.

"I have." Cameron said. "It's why every 'failure' has to hurt everyone even more."

John didn't want a problem. He wanted them to concentrate their focus on each other.

"Let this just be about us." John said. "Right now it's just the two of us."

Cameron smiled at John. She wanted to diffuse the situation.

"It's why I'm here." Cameron said. "I'm alone - this time."

John knew she couldn't ever let it go. He figured maybe she wanted to talk about it some more. He wanted to hear exactly what she thought she was going to do. He didn't really think she would carry those thoughts out to their full extent. Maybe she would. All he needed to remember was the Honeymoon Suite at the casino hotel in Las Vegas.

"You won't be alone sometimes?" John asked.

Cameron honestly thought the problem of human females around John would have been solved years ago. She still wasn't quite sure why it hadn't happened yet. If Claire moved to the base, she would try her hardest to get her to warm John's bed. It wasn't what she originally planned, but she would take it. Claire would make an excellent 'place holder' for her daughter.

She believed it would also provide a further advantage to advance her agenda. The more John was with Claire, the more he would want to be with other human females. He was free to ask any of the female Terminators to share with him. If he asked them, they couldn't refuse. She knew it was something they all wanted to try anyway. Maybe it would be better if they needed to limit their response to the same level as a human female. She wasn't sure she wanted any competition with other females at the level a cyborg could perform at. It was something she decided she would need to implement to protect herself. She would still like to hold all the top cards, even as the rest of the deck was played. She didn't need to be alone every time she visited him.

"No. There will be others with me soon enough." Cameron said. "I want you protected and for you to fulfill your destiny. I want you to have what you want."

She was done talking for now. She moved closer to John. She smiled at him and lowered her head down. It was time to get things started.

John was filled with the rush of excitement. He looked forward to what was about to happen.

"Start me up." John said.

She began to work on John and soon he was ready. She knew what he liked to get things going. He was there now and good to go.

Cameron soon wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and then smiled. She moved onto her knees. She now faced away from John.

He seemed a little slow to respond. He was ready, so was she.

Cameron looked back over her shoulder at John.

"Do I need to bark too?" Cameron asked.

John took it as a green light.

"Nope…." John said as he moved into position.

Cameron wanted to keep things civil. She didn't want him to develop any 'bad habits' for Savannah and Young Allison.

"Make sure you stay where you're supposed to be." Cameron said. "We're not doing the other thing again."

John knew what she referred to.

"I'm sorry." John said. "I was just curious. I wanted to see what the difference was."

She wanted to make a point.

"Do it the proper way." Cameron said as she let out a slight gasp. "That's better."

John looked across Cameron's back. Life was good. He couldn't help but think how identical Cameron and Riley - Future Riley, both felt in every way under similar circumstances. He really wondered what Skynet was thinking when it created female Terminators.

Derek went to check on Riley. He was worried about her and wasn't sure how the extra help was going to go over. He wasn't sure if she would be elated or if she would flip out. He was pretty sure based upon her appearance, Riley would be more than willing to accept Samantha. He didn't think it would be a problem initially. It was possible issues might develop later on. He wasn't blind to what Riley really desired the most in a relationship. He knew it wasn't a male. They got along well together so it wasn't a problem, even if he always felt like he was in second place.

Riley opened her eyes and looked up at Derek. She still looked a little sleepy.

"How do you feel today?" Derek asked. "I think it was the first good night's sleep you've had in at least six months, if not longer."

Riley was very upset at herself for all the trouble she caused everyone last night. She wasn't really sure how to address her personal shortcomings and the fact everyone else needed to take up the slack

"I'm fine. I think I slept a little better." Riley said. "I caused problems last night for a lot of people. I need to apologize."

Riley went to check on Precious. She wasn't there.

Derek saw what happened and quickly told Riley where Precious was at before she became even more worried.

"Vanna has her in the new room next door with Allison and Samantha." Derek said.

Riley wasn't sure she heard Derek correctly. Maybe she was more tired then she thought. She wanted to clarify what was said.

"Samantha? Do you mean Savannah?" Riley asked.

Derek figured Riley was in for a surprise. He hoped it was a pleasant surprise but he didn't know how it was going to play out.

"No, Samantha." Derek said.

She was very confused. She was aware they were able to capture another Skynet Terminator yesterday. Wait. Was it yesterday or the day before? It all seemed like a blur to her anymore. She would try to play it cool and see how things played out

"Who's Samantha?" Riley asked. "Is it the new Metal girl?"

Derek figured she would see soon enough.

"Cameron brought you, no, US, some help." Derek said. "With the additional assistance, we only need to bother Vanna or Jesse if you run out. I think Sarah needs a break too."

Riley felt disgusted with her body. It seemed to have given up on her when she needed it the most. She looked down at her breasts. She really wondered how they could be so large but yet unable to actually do anything worthwhile. There were times when she thought back on the people she missed in her life and why she missed them. She missed her mother through the entire pregnancy ordeal.

She knew her mother was out there along with a younger version of herself. There were times she wanted to go to her mother and tell her everything. She knew Allison and Jesse both saw their mothers. She knew Vanna and Savannah couldn't. She was afraid to involve her family in anything related to the future. She wasn't proud of her life either. She tried to focus on the current events. She couldn't contain her inner feelings. The words just started to slip out.

"I think I've dried up." Riley said. "I think it's the stress. I don't think I'm a good mother. It's times like these I want to go see my mother, as my mother. Not just see her."

There were times when Riley wanted her mother to hold her again and soothe her. She wanted her to reassure her everything would be OK. She didn't want to mess up their lives in the present. She only needed to remind herself Vanna and Savannah could never do it. The thought seemed to quell the feelings. It always worked. She should just be content her mother and younger self were still alive and free of the problems of the future.

Derek didn't want Riley to feel so upset with herself about herself. He didn't feel the same way about her and he didn't think anybody else did either. She only made it worse for herself by thinking it about herself. He wanted to move things along. He was sure he could get Riley to think about something other than her self perceived failures.

"You're a good mother, Riley." Derek said. "You will overcome any difficulties. Let's go meet Samantha."

Derek was sure Riley would like her. He hoped so anyway. He knew one thing for sure, Riley needed help badly. He was certain by this point in time it wasn't just physical assistance either.

Allison stood in front of Samantha and looked at her. She waved her hand back and forth in front of her face several times. It was the third time she did the same thing.

Vanna frowned at Allison's actions.

"I would prefer it if you didn't keep doing the same thing." Vanna said. "It seems rather rude if you think about it."

Allison didn't think there was anything wrong with it. She needed to resist the urge to do it again.

"Will she just sit there like that?" Allison asked.

Vanna only saw Samantha get up once earlier when Precious cried for fifteen seconds. It was when Derek was there with her.

"She will until we say her name, or Precious cries for more than fifteen seconds." Vanna said. "I saw it actually work like Cameron said it would. I haven't tried saying her name yet and see if it works the same way. I can't imagine it wouldn't."

Allison thought about saying Samantha's name just to see what would happen. She could see Vanna gave her a stern look. She didn't want to mess with Samantha since she was there to help. If she would have been alone she probably would have tried it just to see what happened.

There was a bigger worry on her mind. She knew it was the type of assistance she was going to need. She was sure she was going to make a terrible mother. Her mother always told her she would rise to the challenge and she would shine. She really hoped her mother was correct. Then again, it seemed her mother usually was right about everything. She knew if all else failed, her mother could be a grandmother and a surrogate mother at the same time to help her out.

"I'll need help like what Cameron arranged for Riley." Allison said. "I know I'm not going to be able to cut it. I'm going to need your help, and the help of Holly and Cam. I don't want to push the burden onto my mother."

Vanna wanted to help Allison. She didn't think this was something Allison needed to stress out over. If she started doing it all the time she was going to end up like Riley. She didn't want to see Allison as a nervous wreck all of the time.

"You have it. You have ME." Vanna said. "THIS is what I want to do, Allison. It really is."

Allison reached over and gently squeezed Vanna's hand.

"OK, Vanna." Allison said. "It will be us and our cyborg lovers."

Derek and Riley gently knocked and entered.

Derek pointed at Samantha.

"There she is." Derek said.

Riley stood there for a moment and looked at Samantha. She could see right away how beautiful she was. Derek told her she would need to Resequence her sheath. She thought it was too bad. She really liked how she looked the way she was. To see her just sit there and not do anything was a little unnerving. She wanted to make sure how they could reach her.

"Will she just sit there like that?" Riley asked. "She won't do anything until we say her name?"

Derek asked the same question himself. He did see her spring into action as she was supposed to as well.

"Yes." Derek said. "Or if Precious cries for more than fifteen seconds. I saw her do it once."

Riley felt a little guilty about it. She heard Precious cry but she just didn't feel like getting up. She was so tired. She looked on the other side of the bed and Derek was already gone. She figured he could take care of it for her. She was sleepy and didn't remember anyone else was there at the time.

She looked Samantha over. She thought she was hot. She wondered if she could 'cop a feel' with her in 'stand by'. She would wait until they were alone and find out. She always liked to know exactly what another female could offer. She resisted the urge to reach out and touch Samantha's face. It was a very compelling urge too.

"She's pretty…." Riley said.

Vanna could see the hunger and lust in Riley's eyes. She knew the feeling herself. Sometimes it was nearly impossible to control, especially if the conditions were right. She thought she better warn Riley.

"Cameron will deactivate her if she gets 'involved'." Vanna said. "Cameron was very adamant about it. She is here to help Precious and you two too to get things done."

Riley caught Vanna's drift. She felt a little guilty about her earlier thought, but not by too much. She would still like to know what Samantha had to offer.

"I understand, thanks. It's too bad she can't keep her current sheath." Riley said. "It's really pretty."

Vanna looked at Allison. She didn't want to bring up what was specifically discussed for her Resequencing request. She thought it was best discussed with Samantha, Claire, and the girls in a more private setting. She liked Samantha's sheath as well but she was more than willing to see her Resequenced with Claire's DNA. A Terminator version of Claire excited her greatly. See simplified her answer as much as possible.

"For safety reasons she'll need to be Resequenced." Vanna said. "Cameron didn't want another repeat of the incident with Isabel."

Riley wondered if they could make a Terminator version of her.

"Could she look like me?" Riley asked.

Vanna quickly looked at Riley when she said it. It was a very interesting concept to say the least. She didn't know how it would go over with Cameron. She was sure at some point, Cameron would want to borrow Metal Riley's chassis. Somehow it seemed like a bad idea.

"I don't think it's planned." Vanna said.

Precious stirred and started to cry.

Riley went to go to her, Derek stopped her.

"Watch this." Derek said. "I want to see it again myself."

In fifteen seconds Samantha's eyes opened. She stood up and went to Precious. She made an evaluation and started to change her. When she was done she sat back down and closed her eyes.

Riley watched with amazement. She wasn't thrilled with having a Terminator deal with her daughter, but when she saw it happen, she realized how beneficial it could be.

"She's so efficient." Riley said. "I don't know if it was creepy or Hot."

Derek was amazed to watch it happen again.

"I think it's both." Derek said.

Riley wondered why Samantha ignored them and only tended to Precious. She knew Samantha could see them as she changed Precious and sat back down.

"Why didn't she say anything to us?" Riley asked.

Vanna thought the same thing the first time it happened. She remembered what Cameron told her.

"She is only supposed to deal with Precious, or assist you if you ask her." Vanna said. "She's to remain in the background and not interfere in your lives or daily routine. For everything else you want to do, it will be like she's not even here."

Riley was willing to give it a try for several reasons. After what she just saw, she was on board. She didn't know if Derek would be or not. She was aware of his past opinion of Terminators. She knew he evolved greatly over the years.

"Can she help us?" Riley asked. "I could use help like she can offer and not keep wrecking other people's lives to help me. There could be other things she could help me with too, but I don't want to violate any rules."

Derek wanted Riley to have help. He knew Riley needed some kind of help. He knew it was a start. He was afraid she actually might need some 'professional help' to get herself back on track. He really didn't know. He didn't know tech stuff.

"We can give it a try." Derek said. "We can discuss everything more with Cameron."

Vanna wanted them to know Samantha could be just like any of the other female Terminators. She didn't have to remain in the background all of the time.

"Samantha will interact with you as well if you speak with her." Vanna said. "She's a compilation of our Metal girls. She knows a lot about everything. She's really nice, but she won't do any more than you ask her to do. She's programmed not to be invasive. Right now her main focus is on Precious. She can do a whole lot more as well. It might be something you want to ease into a little bit at a time."

Riley looked Samantha over again one more time, she really liked what she saw. She looked at Derek and took his arm.

"This might work out." Riley said. "Can we keep her?"

Riley felt a new spark of life inside her.

Derek was pleased to see the spark of life back and Riley's eyes.

"I don't see any reason why we can't give it a try." Derek said. "I'm willing to try anything if it can help you out and make you feel better. I know you're a little bit off track from the stress of everything. I think a little assistance will go a long way."

Riley smiled at Derek and pulled her body close to his and leaned her head against his shoulder.

Vanna and Allison both watched. It was clear Riley was on a more positive path. They just hoped she would stay there.

Closing monologue by Cameron:

Because There's Something

Some choose to run
Others try to hide
Nobody can escape
From what resides inside

I feel the sting
The slap on my face
Crushing my dignity
Making me feel disgrace

How would you feel
If I did what you've done
Doing the exact same things
As you have to another one

I'm right here for you
Please open your eyes
You don't need play the game
You already have the prize

You treat me like Nobody
Pretend there's nothing
