Leaning back and forth in the chair with his hands resting behind his head, Hawks lazily continued to glance at the slow ticking clock on the wall as he remained waiting for the one whose office this belonged to.

"So, um…why are we waiting here instead somewhere else?" Deku nervously grinned as his eyes squinted shut.

"Because I didn't feel like waiting anymore for my inevitable death to come. It gets boring you know."

"Um…your what now?"

"Been meaning to have a conversation with Uravity about about…the Ipponmichi case."

"Ok..." Nodding in understanding Deku patiently waited for Hawks to continue but when he saw him instead looking back over at the clock, Deku frowned not quite understanding something. "I get that, but then why am I here? And why do you think she'll want to harm you? Since that doesn't really seem like her."

Hawk's chuckle grew loud after registering Dekus question. "You're not serious right? I mean, have you seen that girl when she gets mad? Talk about her and Bakugo being quite a match." Grinning, he once again looked back at the clock. "Not a lot of people realize that Japans sweet little Uravity has quite the temper on her."

"Really?" Dekus frown deepened in thought as he tried to recall the times he'd seen her angry. "I guess she was pretty upset at Iida and I back in school when Bakugo told everyone that…"

Quirking a curious brow Hawks saw Deku quickly sink further into his seat.

"Never mind forget I said anything." Shaking his head Deku tried not to shiver at the thought of reliving the time he and Iida mistakenly assumed she was on her menstrual cycle before getting cornered by her, Mina and Tsu. "W-what about you?"

"Yeah, I guess you could say that I've seen more than my fair share of that side of her." Hawks smiled as he rubbed the back of his head. "It's not good. So hence, that's why you're here." When he saw Deku still looking lost as ever, he began to explain. "So that way she won't feel as obligated to kill me if you're here and you'll be a great witness."

"WHAT?! Wait! No! I don't want to be a witness!" He waved his hands in front of him.

"Well, it's a little too late for that kid." Hawks smirked as he silently counts down on three fingers. "Three…two…one."

"UGH!" Frustratingly throwing her helmet down on the desk as she entered her office, Uraraka watched as Hawks swiftly jumped to his feet along with Deku. "He's just so infuriating!"

"Tough day sweetheart?" Hawks kept an easy smile on his face as he stepped back from her chair.

"Funny." She sarcastically said before raising her hand that clutched a small red feather. "Will you stop it with that already?"

"See, what did I tell ya?" Hawks whispered towards Deku as the feather returned to him. "Temper…"

"W-who?" Deku nervously gulped making sure he had a clear exit lined up between the chair and her door shall the need arise. "Who's infuriating?"

"Bakugo! Who else?!" she growled as she looked at the two men.

"Beats me."

"Can't think of anyone else." Hawks shrugged.

Throwing herself down in her chair she tried to calm herself, she really did. But with ever passing day it quickly became harder and harder not want to throttle the man. He had gone beyond freaking plus ultra to keep her as far away from him as humanly possible, never told her when he was off on patrol until she had to find out he had already left. And in the event that she did manage to find him, he still wouldn't accept her help. It was like reliving the Bakugo from the first day of high school all over again! "That guy is just so…so…."

"Kacchan?" Deku raised a humorous brow.

"Yes!" Her eyes widened as she looked at Deku's green ones. "And to think that that man…"

"Is the same man you love." Deku fondly smiled as she placed her head on the desk face down.

"How is it possible that I wanna kill him and smother him in hugs and kisses at the same time?" she pouted as she half raised her head. "How do you do it Deku?"

"W-well I don't think you really want to kill Kacchan as much as you say you do. Although he can be a handful, but you already knew that from the beginning."

"Which just makes this harder."

Hearing her muffled reply when she placed her head back down, Deku continued. "Uraraka, I know I may not be the best person when it comes to offering relationship advice seeing as how my only relationship ended not too long ago."

"Yeah, what happened there kid? Thought you and that girl seemed determined to make it work?" Hawks placed a hand on his shoulder as Deku thought about it for a minute.

"We did for some time but…Melissa and I realized that with both of us starting off with our careers there wasn't going to be enough time for us especially with us constantly working in different parts of the world. And it's not like we don't care for each other because we both know we do. But…we with me moving around, and training with All Might. It's just a lot right now and she understands that. We're still friends and talk almost every day." Deku smiled as he pulled out his phone. "But we're both ok with just being friends for the time being. Besides…." Gazing down at Uraraka who slowly raised her head he continued. "None of us know what will happen. So who knows, maybe later down the line I'll find the time for a relationship the same way I know you don't really want to hurt Kacchan."

"Ok, so I don't really want to kil him…" she admitted as she finally sat up. "It's just so frustrating."

"Well, he's probably still pretty upset about the other day. He may not seem like it, but you and I both know that his ego can take a strong hit at times. That despite his outer strong exterior he is still human and capable of feelings."

"Yeah, just don't let him hear you saying that." She giggled looking down at her fingerpads. "I guess I get it. And I know that it's not the only harsh thing I've said to him lately. But I just feel like maybe the more I distance myself from him…the less it might hurt. But now that I feel like that's exactly what he's doing-giving me space. The more I realize that it's not what I want, despite knowing it's the right thing to do."

"Uraraka…"

"But enough about that." She quickly shook her head trying to move on from the frustrating day she's had. "I could really use some good news right about now. So how about you guys?"

"U-us?"

"Yeah, why are you guys here?" her brows drew together, finding it strange to see them both here.

"Well, I think I better go." Deku quickly turned to make a beeline towards the door.

"Deku." Uraraka sterns voice made the green haired One for All user stiffly turn around. "Sit."

"Ok." Hopping over the chair he quickly did as was asked when he saw her face twisting in annoyance as she looked back at Hawks.

"Hawks? Would you care to explain why you're here?"

"What? I can't visit my favorite employee?" he awkwardly grinned when her brown eyes bore into him. "Alright stop with the death glare will ya."

"I will once you tell me what's going on."

"Alright that's fair." He nodded in agreement. "Well Deku and I-"

"What-No! I had nothing to do with this!" he shrieked as he jumped up.

"Fine." Hawks casually waved off. "I was thinking since we've been working this case in every way possible…that maybe you could…"

"Hawks?"

Audible gulping he decided to just rip the band aid off and deliver her with the news. "The higher ups are wanting us to move in as soon as we can. To end the organization."

"But… how are they expecting us to do that if we still don't have the names of everyone involved? Sure the raid on the Ipponmichi base here helped point us in all the right directions, but there are those who made sure none of their information or names were on any of these documents Hagakure found. We still need find solid information on those in power that are still involved otherwise this will keep going."

"I know."

Shaking her head she tried to comprehend how they even expected them to terminate the organization if they didn't have everything they needed yet. It'll be like cutting off the tip of the iceberg when there's still so much underneath to discover. "Not to mention we still don't have the Doctor in our custody, we don't even know what was in that brown box that was given to him and from what Toga had said there's a much bigger plan to all this than we know."

"Uravity-"

"Why else would someone like Hana allow herself to be caught Hawks? There has to be something else. Something we're missing."

"I agree with Uraraka. I can't explain why, but when we fought her before…I just thought Mr. Aizawa was nearby but she just…stopped fighting us to the point where we thought we had won." Deku nodded as he thoughtfully rubbed his chin. "I can't exactly put my finger as to why she would do that especially since we were able to gather a great lot of intel about this group. Any other person would want to protect this kind of sensitive information. But why didn't she?"

"All the more reason why we need to get to the bottom of it." Hawks deeply exhaled before meeting her gaze. "We managed to capture the ones we know about, and we know that she has her eyes set on the three of you after your last encounter. And we know that…" Seeing the way her eyes suddenly dropped had Hawks feeling guilty about what he was about to ask. "And as far as the doctor, there's only one person that's been closest to him out of all of us…quite possibly knows more than we do without letting the doctor know that we're onto him-"

"No."

"Uraraka, we need to find out everything we can."

"No." she repeated this time with a harder tone. "You will not drag him into this."

"Well tough, because believe it or not he already is." Realizing he had raised his own voice he tried to bring it down some knowing this was a lot to ask again. "Uraraka…"

"No Hawks, how could you ask me to do this after knowing what could happen."

"And you know I wouldn't if there was another option. But he is it. He may have information we're not aware of yet."

"And he may not remember anything about that." She fired back. "I don't even know everything he remembers."

"We could always ask." Deku cut in. "Uraraka, I realize this is asking a lot, out of both of you."

"But we're running out of options kid." Hawks stepped closer to her as she looked at her feet. She knew he might be right. And she knew that the longer they took to bring them down the more people would get hurt. "We don't have a choice. If we want all this to stop…to finally end all this. Then we need his help."

"So, maybe if you're not doing anything tonight…no…" Scratching his head the sturdy hero Red Riot tried to come up with a decent way to ask his temporary partner to hang out with him this weekend without meaning for it to sound more than it really was. "Hey Mina, what do you say about us getting something to eat sometime? No…" Groaning he roughly pulled out some water from the small fridge in the break room just as Uraraka walked in.

"Hey Uraraka! What do you think about…." Frowning he let the door of the fridge slam shut. "Oh Oh, what did he do?"

"Who?" raising her brows and clearly irritated about something, Kirishima could only suspect that Bakugo was still giving her a hard time.

"Gee I don't know let me think…about yay high, spiky blond hair, goes by the name Bakugo. Ring any bells?" He playfully grinned as she pouted.

"Oh no. I mean nothing." Dismissively shaking her head, she accepted the water he handed her as he went back to the fridge for another. "I'm fine."

"Really? Because you looked like you were going to kill someone earlier." Kirishima raised an eyebrow.

"And things just keep getting worse." She silently exhaled.

"So, you talked to Hawks." He acknowledged before taking a sip of his water.

"You knew?"

"Not really." He admitted. "But it seemed it had him on edge for a while."

"For good reasons." She muttered before explaining everything they talked about in that meeting.

"I see." He frowned as he leaned back against the counter. "But I also get where Hawks coming from since he would be your best bet at ending this."

"You agree that this is the right choice?"

"Not entirely to be honest, but like Deku said…don't be so quick to believe whatever it was Hana showed you. And before you say anything…" he raised his hand palm up when she was about to protest. "How is that a bad thing?" When he saw her shot him a pointed glare, he nervously rubbed the back of his neck. "Does this have anything to do with that thing."

"Yahuh!" Vigorously nodding she momentarily paused when she saw the man in question walk past the room and towards the elevator.

"Look I get that you're worried, I do. Just know that whatever you decide we'll have your back ok."

Nodding she allowed herself a moment to smile. "So, you plan on asking Mina out huh?"

"W-what-no of course not." The deep blush on his face told her otherwise. "Not yet anyways."

The next two days came and went without any progress and Uraraka couldn't stop thinking about her meeting with Hawks. He had told her to think about it and get back to him whenever she was ready, and she really doubted she ever would be.

Feeling Jirou playfully nudge her, Uraraka looked up to see they were already at work. "Oh, sorry I kinda spaced out there again."

"Is everything alright? You seem elsewhere lately."

"Yeah, don't be silly. I've just been busy with work, Kiseki, and volunteering that's all."

"That is quite a lot. Do you need any help?"

"No, it's fine." She tried to suppress her yawn, forcing one leg in front of the other. It wasn't like she didn't get much sleep last night, but despite her baby peacefully sleeping away she never could stop waking up in the middle of the night to make sure he was ok and safely sleeping away next to her. Which just became a habit. So instead, she decided to change the subject. "How's Kaminari?"

"Doing better. Think he'll be back soon if the doctor gives him the ok." Jirou chuckled. "Although I think he's enjoying this a little too much."

"Well as long as he's doing better." Uraraka giggled.

Stretching his arm across his chest after another early morning workout and shower, Bakugo continued to ignore the way his friend continued to talk about things he wasn't interested in.

"Are you even listening to me?" Kirishima frowned when Bakugo still didn't answer as they walked towards the lobby. "We should really try again."

"No."

"But you don't even know what I'm talking about!" he pointed his finger.

"Don't care. I'm busy or probably will be with anything stupid you might be thinking."

Loudly exhaling Kirishima was already accustomed to his buddy's lack of listening skills, so it came as no surprise to him that he once again managed to ignore everything he had said.

"Dude come on! You could really use a night of fun."

"Define fun, since last time I got stuck with all you dumbasses at that bar! -which reminds me I still need to kick your ass for that!"

"Hey all I'm suggesting is another innocent double date."

Taking this moment to give Kirishima the deadliest of glares he came to the conclusion that there really wasn't anything going on in that thing he called a bran.

"Well?"

"I'm busy."

"Dude no you're not!" Kirishima shouted as he caught up to him. "That one girl I introduced you to a few weeks back is still interested."

"Tch, what? You mean the one with the cross eyes?" he scoffed, remembering the way she tried talking to him, but he couldn't really be sure if she was looking at him or something else and he didn't want to waste his time finding out. "Hard pass."

"Man, you always do that. You always find some way to find something wrong with any girl you met."

"Not my fault you have lousy taste."

"Hey I do not." Kirishima said in offense. "I dated Mina, didn't I?"

"Case in point." Bakugo snickered as Kirishima's hand flew to his chest to stop him from walking away.

"Alright, how about the one I introduced you to at the bar?"

Frowning he thought back on the night of his birthday when his shitty friend tried to talk him into sitting down with this one girl who had a laugh that lord knows he could only describe as deep and throaty like the sound a dog would make just before throwing up. He wasn't sure if he needed to call a doctor for help or just walk away. He decided on the latter since nature always had a way of working itself out.

"There's oh so many damn ways I want to punch you in the face right now." Bakugo dangerously chuckled.

"Fine, I'll let it go for now since I've got to meet Mina anyways. But just think about it yeah?"

"Yeah whatever." Rolling his eyes he quickly trudged on over to the front desk before scowling as that airhead of a receptionist quickly tried to get rid of whoever she'd been talking to on the phone.

"Dynamight hi!"

She squealed which just made a piercing pain shot through his ears.

"What can I do for you?"

"Might need a new set of damn ears." He growled as he snatched the papers from her hand and began going through his messages. Anything else that was being said was completely ignored as he saw another complaint about damages. "Goddamn it!"

"Is everything alright?" she shot him a seductive smile as she lightly grazed her nails against the low-cut blouse she wore and he had half a mind to tell her to mind her own business and seek better fashion advice, but the last thing he needed was Todoroki lecturing him about making anymore receptionists cry.

"Where the hell's Todoroki?"

"Um he's not here right now, got delayed by a meeting with Endeavor-I mean Mr. Todoroki."

Wrinkling the small paper in his fists he tried to take a deep calm breath that became lodged in his throat when he heard the familiar clicking of heels from behind.

Glancing left then right, Uraraka gave a big smile before skipping towards her partner. "Bakugo!"

"Damn it!" Briefly stiffening, he hunched his back as he heard her footsteps alert him to her approaching. Instead of waiting to see what she wanted he whipped around and briskly exited the agency.

"Oh." Halting in her steps when she made it to the front desk Uraraka frowned when she realized this was going to be another day he preferred working alone. "Is he alright?"

"Don't know." Honoka dreamily hummed as he exited the door before her smile faded and she turned her cold eyes towards Uraraka. "But we were having a great conversation."

"Oh." She couldn't hide the surprise from her face as her eyes darted between the door and the receptionist. "Well I'm sorry I interrupted." She grumbled as she balled her fists and began walking out herself.

She forced her eyes downwards even after being greeted by a few heroes along the way. A throbbing pain shot through her chest as a nasty thought involuntarily came to mind. What could they have been talking about that had Honoka seemed so pleased? How many girls exactly had he talked to since her departure? How many had he dated? How many had he been with after her?

Did he already have someone?

That last thought had crossed her mind more often than she cared to count, including the night of his birthday, knowing someone like him surely wouldn't stay single long.

Unaware of where she was walking, she completely bypassed Bakugo as he remained waiting and leaning right outside the doors, knowing it wouldn't be long before she tried to follow him again.

As she passed, he stopped his inpatient tapping as he uncrossed his arms. "Oi!" When she didn't answer he pushed off the wall to see her still on her way down the street. "The hell?"

What did it matter? There was no time to try and deal with the pain nor lick her wounds. If Bakugo had indeed found someone, that wasn't her business anymore. That thought made her stomach drop even further and she desperately tried to find something to distract herself with as she tried to readjust the gauntlets on her wrists.

"Oi! Are you deft?! Slow the fuck down!" No, he didn't find himself running, but had to jog to try and catch up with the way her smaller legs tried to get as far away from the agency as she could. He wondered why that was since just a second ago she seemed like her chipper self. Or maybe she finally realized he was better on his own.

When he saw her silently stop while keeping her eyes down, it irked him that she wouldn't meet his eyes or know exactly what caused this sudden change of mood.

"Would you quite following me already?" He growled watching her move her face away. Sure she wasn't really doing that today but that just seemed to bother him even more. "The fucks wrong with you?" When he didn't get an answer, he could feel the vein on his temple begin to throb. "Whatever." Shaking his head he jammed his hands in his pockets and began to walk.

When he heard her heels hitting the concrete behind him, he turned his head to see her still looking down without uttering a word. This was just the way he liked it.

No one to run their mouth. No one having to make stupid conversations with. So why the hell was he growing antsy after every minute of silence?

Turning his head enough to see her still walking behind him but this time twirling her thumbs as her eyes scanned their surroundings made him scowl. "Tch."

"Hmm?"

"I'll allow you to follow me today. Just don't get in my way."

With a single nod she kept her strange quiet demeanor for another few blocks until he couldn't take it anymore. "Round face!"

Turning her head, she saw him stomp towards her and grab her wrist before dragging her toward a nearby alley and away from all the prying eyes constantly on them. Satisfied that they were alone he quickly released her and didn't waste time wiping his hand on his black pants to try and get rid of that weird tingling feeling.

She barely had time to catch herself from stumbling since she had to take twice as many steps as he did just to keep up. "Why are we here?"

"Alright you wanna tell me what's wrong?" Watching her turn her head had him frustratingly tapping his foot.

"Thought you didn't care about that." Was her only reply as she balled her fists.

"I don't." He was quick to agree, but then wondered why the hell he was even asking then? He came to the conclusion that regardless of how he felt about her at the moment he didn't like the way her eyes looked so dull, lacking any of the spark they usually held. "Whatever, like I said just don't get in my way." He mumbled as he walked out, only stopping when he heard her begin to move.

As she proceeded to walk past him, he made it a point to be a little further ahead. "And don't walk in front of me!"

"Maybe if you actually picked up your feet every now and then…" she muttered as she continued walking.

"What?" Whipping his head to the side he could see her annoyed face still looking off to the other side of the street. He wasn't sure why but the thought that during all their years growing up, Uraraka seemed to always have a neck to find a way to rile him up the same way as Deku did, but unlike with Deku, Bakugo seemed to enjoy her feisty attitude whenever she decided to let it out.

Growing up all the kids would always scurry away from him, and he thought that would be the case when he enrolled into UA, but that was another surprise. Everyone in his class seemed to get used to his rather explosive persona. And what was more surprising was the fact that during their little ride towards the USJ for the first time when everyone was giving him shit, he had overheard her talking with Ponytail about enjoying his rather vulgar vocabulary. He had figured after some accidental eavesdropping that because her parents were in the construction business she had grown accustomed to being around hard-working tough guys who didn't care about proper manners so long as the job was done and done well.

"So, she seems nice."

"Hmm?" Tilting his head he didn't realize she had decided to finally talk.

"Honoka." She explained, keeping her eyes forward. When he didn't respond she couldn't help but give a small smile. "One of the receptionists."

"The fuck I know. And why ask me?" he scowled before glaring down at her shoes. "And what the fucks wrong with your shoes?!"

"Why?" What's wrong with them?" she disappointedly peered down at her shoes.

"They're annoying. And the make that stupid clink clank sound that'll alert all the villains of our presence!"

"What villains?" She looked around at the almost empty streets. "Where are these villains?"

"They're everywhere, you just don't see them!" He dismissively shook his head. "How the hell do you even fight with them on?"

"I've always done it. And I did just fine." She frowned in confusion as she once again looked down at her shoes as she raised her right foot. "Never heard a complain before."

"Tch."

"W-well what about you?" she pointed at the large grenade gauntlets. "I've always wondered, don't they get uncomfortable?"

"No." he simply said before walking off. He figured at least he managed to get her out of whatever shit was bothering her, but that didn't mean he had to continue making pointless conversations like they did the other night. Inwardly groaning he was so close to punching himself in the face for once again going where his mind shouldn't.

"Doesn't mean you have to be a such a jerk about it."

Calmly inhaling he focused his attention onward. "Telling you the truth doesn't make me a jerk. In fact, you should feel thankful that I at least have the balls to tell it how it is."

"Well, I don't care what you think. I like them." She proudly smiled down at her shoes as she skipped forward.

"Tch, course you do. It makes your short ass look taller." His lips raised into a smirk when he saw her turn her head to puff out her cheeks in anger. "Not to mention they do look kinda se-"

Stepping closer to him she folded her arms over her chest not taking too kindly about her costume being picked on since she was proud of wearing it. "What?" She waited to hear him finish whatever insult he had ready before he cut himself off and only continued to stare at her in shocked surprise.

'The FUCK did I almost say?!' He felt her angry glare but couldn't care two shits when he almost let his mouth run away from him again. Why did he feel the need to complain about her costume of all things when all they did was compliment the very intriguing curves of her body? 'AND WHY THE HELL AM I THINKING ABOUT HER BODY?!'

Shaking his head to try and rid himself of these invading thoughts he didn't dare stop walking even after she called out to him and the sounds of those heels of hers didn't help his imagination from going to places he never allowed himself to.

He could blame this on the fact that now he was stuck having a girl as a partner for the time being but then again this wasn't the first time he felt uncomfortable around her. Even before they got partnered up. And it wasn't as if this was the first time he'd ever had to work with the opposite sex, but it was the first time he was fully aware of the fact that she was a girl and not one bad to look at either. "This is stupid…"

"What?" she asked next to him.

"I SAID YOUR STUPID!" he snapped before quickening his pace.

"You're stupid." She grumbled before jogging to catch up to him but didn't account for him stopping and just barely had time to almost crash into him.

"You've got some mouth on you; you know that Round face?"

Pursing her lips she was about to retort but instead felt the heat on her cheeks when she caught his eyes flick to her lips before he resumed his pace. She silently prayed that he could fall into a manhole, but then again his big head probably wouldn't be big enough to fit in.

After hearing her giggling, he had to force himself not to turn around to find out why. The less he interacted with her the better.

"Hey Bakugo?" When he didn't answer she contemplated her next words very carefully. She really didn't want to ask him, but she knew that the others were right and the longer she waited the longer it would take them to get to the bottom of this. "What do you remember about the Ipponmichi?"

Halting in his steps he halfway turned to see the reluctant expression on her face. "What?"

"I…" Taking a moment to control the anxiety building up she cautiously proceeded. "The fight with the Ipponmichi. What do you remember?"

"Why?" Thinking it over he regarded her for a moment before answering. "Let me guess, Big Bird put you up to this."

"We…we just need some information that's all." She quickly said.

"Well, you were there weren't you? Why ask me?"

"Because we're trying to see if there was anything we may have overlooked."

"So let me get this straight…" he frowned as he shifted from one foot to the other. "You're asking me for help? After you clearly said that I would be the last person you'd want working on this?"

'Ok so he is still sour about this...' Exhaling deeply, she averted her eyes on something over his shoulder. "I didn't really say it like that…"

"Yeah, you did." He bit back. He had half a mind to just tell her to go fuck off and to take those sexy boots with her.

"Bakugo please if there's anything-" Whirling around when she heard a woman's cry for help, she didn't hesitate to run in that direction. "Come on!"

"Oh hell no!" Bakugo dug his feet into the ground knowing all too well in what direction it was coming from.

X

"Oh man I'm wiped!" Mina outstretched her arms in front of her after her and Kirishimas patrol. It was rather uneventful which served her just fine, but something about it just made time drag on slower. "I just can't wait to get home to a nice warm bubble bath."

"Yeah, me too." Kirishima smiled before quickly correcting himself. "I mean the getting home part not the bubble bath part."

"What? How come?" Tiling her head she innocently waited for him to explain as to why when taking a nice bath is something she always looked forward to.

"Well, I've never really been a bath person."

"But wait you liked them with me before." She couldn't hide her mischievous smile when his face suddenly turned a deep shade of red.

"Wel I…."

"OUT OF MY WAY!"

He could hear his friend just outside the doors before he kicked them open followed by Uraraka who held her hand over her mouth to stifle a laugh. Kirishima was about to ask what happened now when he caught sight of Bakugo's scratched up face. So, deciding to value his life he opted not to asked, but unlike him Mina had no such restraint.

"Pfft oh what happened to you?" she asked as he flipped her off brushing right past them.

"There was this little old lady who needed our help." Uraraka explained.

"Let me guess, Mrs. Chiba?"

"Mrs. Chiba?" Mina asked.

"Yeah, she's this nice lady who usually needs help with her cat." Kirishima sheepishly rubbed the back of his head before glancing over at a furious Bakugo. "But I never had a problem with her before."

"No, it was her cat." Uraraka snorted. "The poor little thing got stuck in a tree and was too scared to get down. So…" she gestured her hand towards Bakugo who momentarily stopped to yell at something Sero had said as he tried to suppress his laughter. "Yeah…"

"Uraraka!"

"What? Why me?" Confused, she rapidly blinked before she apologetically waved at the two and followed Bakugo down the stairs and towards a small room as he rummaged through some of the shelves. When he saw her hesitate to walk in, he shot her a quick glare.

"Get your ass in here Cheeks!"

"Ok why am I here again?" she asked as she looked around seeing a single sink, a small metal table next to a chair and some cabinets shoved to the side that she guesses held some emergency supplies.

"Since this is all your fault for making me go help that ungrateful old witch with that demonic cat again, your ass is staying here."

"It wasn't my-" She saw him throw a small first aid kid on the table before dangerously narrowing his eyes on her, she decided that since he was her partner after all she may as well make sure he was ok.

Walking over to the sink he quickly washed his hands and face all while cursing under his breath and wincing at the new scratches.

Rolling her eyes she quickly got to her feet when he was finished and waited for him to walk back over to the table to pull out the gauze pad. "Here let me."

"I can do it."

"I know you can, but I don't feel like hearing you complaining the whole time."

"Oi I don't-"

"Sit." Her firm tone left little room to argue as he found himself doing as she asked but not before throwing her a nasty glare in return.

Snatching the gauze from his hands she made it a point to shot him a forced smile before getting to work cleaning the various cuts herself.

She had to remind herself to try and avoid staring directly at him and only focus on the wounds themselves, otherwise she was scared that it would stir something up inside she couldn't keep hiding, especially being this close to his face.

"Oi watch it!" He painfully winced as he tried to move his face away but found her grabbing his chin in her soft hands to stop him from moving.

"Don't be such a baby." She softly giggled when she saw him jut his bottom lip out to glower at her, but it came out less threatening when the slow growing blush on his face told her otherwise.

"I'm not! You're the baby…" he grumbled as he tried to hold still when she gently began to clean the scratches on his face.

"This kind of makes you wish we had Recovery Girl here huh?"

"What and receive another one of those gross crusty lips on my cheek again? No thanks." He chuckled when he heard her do the same.

"Stop moving." She smiled and saw him take a deep breath to try to relax as she worked.

He noticed the shy way she kept averting her eyes as he continued to watch her, even noticed the way she kept tugging her hair behind her ear and the nervous way she would chew on her bottom lip. For a moment he even wondered what they would feel like, what they would taste like as his traitorous eyes landed on them for the second time today. Something inside him made him curious to know what kind of reactions he could get out of her. Wanted to know everything about this woman now standing in front of him and why she'd been so off lately. And more than anything…wanted to feel her lips on his.

Nervously gulping he was about to ask her what was taking so long when she lightly tapped on a deeper cut that made him grunt in pain right as his hands grabbed onto the nearest thing he could to stop himself from yelling at her. "Shit…I'm going to kill that damn cat."

"Sorry." She softly said and he could feel her hesitate and tense up as she finished cleaning that cut, and he had to bite his lip as he dug his hands further into… "Bakugo?"

"Just get on with it already." Opening his eyes he saw her nervously take a shaky breath in before finishing up. Her touch was as gentle as a butterfly's wing, and he had to remind himself to breathe whenever she would bend down to get a better look at one of the scratches with her face only inches away. Otherwise, she would suspect that her closeness was doing a number on him, which she certainly was not.

"There. All done." She smiled down at him as he slowly blinked back out of his thoughts now wondering why the hell it was so fast.

"What?" he fluttered his eyelids in confusion.

"I said I'm all done." She giggled already trying to put the supplies away until she remembered where his hands had landed. "Bakugo?"

Too stunt to talk he just nervously swallowed and nodded his head. As he looked down to see the death grip he had on her hips this whole time which made him quickly snatch them away before scarping back his chair and basically sprinting out of the room before it even managed to hit the floor.

It was settled. First thing Monday morning he was going to get a different partner or kill Shoto Todoroki.

"You're welcome." She frowned as the door closed behind him without even so much as a thank you.
