This was fine.
Everything was just fine she continued telling herself as she tiredly dragged herself into her office for lunch.
It's already been two days since she last worked with the explosive blond, and just as long that she hadn't spoken to him. Deciding that the best course would be to shove whatever happened during their last patrol together under the rug as if it never happened. And he seemed to be doing the same since she hadn't seen him, but that was mostly due on her part since she hadn't really made an effort to try and run into him.
Everyone who was somewhat close to the guy knew he always had a routine, and being somewhat familiar with it herself she was able to effortlessly avoid any sight of him much to her relief since the last thing she wanted was a surprised repeat of the other day.
So this was fine. Everything was fine. All she had to do was try and stay clear of him the way she initially planned, while avoiding any possible topics of him and things would be fine. Yawning she placed her hand over her mouth just as she was about to sit and reach for the almost empty tissue box on her desk but stopped midway when the door slammed open. Instinctively she had to fight the urge to dug under the table for fear that maybe she was hoping for the impossible after all.
"Everything's not fine!"
"Hmm?" quizzically blinking, Uraraka saw Mina frustratingly close the door behind her before she walked over and plopped herself down on the chair facing her.
Well so much for that plan Uraraka defeatedly thought.
"Am I that hideous?"
Opening and closing her mouth in confusion, Uraraka's brain had a slight delay in understanding what exactly her friend was asking-which seemed to happen a lot today. "What?"
"I mean…I know we said that we're better of as friends but that didn't mean forever!" Mina placed her head face down on the desk. "He just sees me as one of the guys now."
"W-who exactly?"
Tilting her head up just enough to see the dark bags under Uraraka's eyes as she continued to stare cluelessly back at the pink girl had Mina slowly sitting up. "Kirishima of course."
"Oh." Sluggishly nodding, Uraraka was just about to ask what exactly spurred this on when she couldn't suppress another incoming sneeze.
"'Chako are you feeling well babe?" Mina raised a concern brow. "You don't look so hot."
"Fine." Uraraka weakly smiled even as she reached over to grab some more tissues. "Just feeling a little sluggish today that's all."
"You know for the rest of us that's called being sick." Mina curiously narrowed her eyes at one of her best friends. "Jirou did tell me that you were a little off today. So why are you here? Why aren't you home in bed where you should be?"
"I'm fine." Uraraka confidently smiled but couldn't hold it long when the burning in her nose began to make her eyes water again. Shaking her head she dismissively waved her hand. "But enough about that, what happened with Kirishima?"
"Nothing." She shrugged. "Except the fact that we've been back in Japan for a few weeks now and he hasn't even asked me out. Anytime we hang out together it's with all our friends -which don't get me wrong I love doing but every now and then I wish it would just be the two of us so that way he can try and make his move so he can start falling in love with me again." Mina didn't bother taking breaks in between her explanation which always made Uraraka smile. "How can he not get this?"
Slumping in her chair Uraraka tried to push past the weariness that had settled deep into her bones. "Maybe he just wants to give you some space, you were the one after all that mentioned being friends so knowing Kirishima…"
"He probably thinks that's all I want from him now." Mina begrudgingly agreed. "I swear, how hard is it to read between the lines?" Mina playfully grinned when she heard Uraraka giggle. "I even asked Bakugo what he thought and if Kiri still found me attractive."
"Oh Mina." Yawning Uraraka knowingly shook her head. Despite her strong love for the man, she also knew how harsh he still could be. "And what did he say?"
"You know Bakugo." She sheepishly waved her hand. "Something along the lines of a mole rat or another…I just asked him because he's Kiri's best friend you know." She explained. "So, if anyone would know what's going on in that big muscular head of his, it would be Bakugo."
Now understanding the reason for Mina's sudden outburst earlier Uraraka could only imagine how their conversation had gone. But what worried her now was the way Mina suddenly piped up as if she suddenly had an idea that Uraraka knew she would most definitely not like.
"Hey I got it! How about you go ask Bakugo again for me?"
"I don't think so…" Unwaveringly shaking her head Uraraka was most certainly not going to encourage that idea.
"What? Why not? I know if you were to ask him, you'd probably get more information out of him than I did." When Mina still saw her refusing to budge, she tried giving her the best pout she could. "Please 'Chako chip this is my only chance to de-virginize me again!"
Snorting Uraraka placed a hand over her mouth when she heard Mina let out a mixture of pleading laughter. Anything that would keep her mind off what happened with the blond as well as how sick she currently felt was welcomed right now. The sound of getting some rest while snuggled in with her baby boy seemed to lull her in the direction of possibly doing just that now too.

Lazily walking thought the halls of the agency Keigo Takami continued his conversation with Tokoyami as he held his arms over the back of his head in a relaxed fashion.
"It's not every time, but I'm just saying…do you ever get people staring at you weird anytime you try to eat a bucket of fried chicken?" Hawks genuinely asked while Tokoyami continued to stare at his mentor with confusion written all over his face. "I mean if it happens once I get it, but all the time?"
"I…I can't say that I do Hawks."
"Really?" Hawks raised an unconvinced brow at Tokoyami before being cut off when the door further down the hall suddenly swung open.
"Hawks!"
"Hmm?" Quizzically pausing, Hawks along with Tokoyami were surprised to see a seething Bakugo looking both ways before his eyes landed on them and stomped his way over.
"You worthless piece of crap!"
"Um I think he's talking to you." Hawks glanced at Tokoyami who blankly stared back.
"I sincerely doubt that."
"Hawks!"
"You wanna be Hawks?" He raised a brow at the man next to him who quickly shook his head before excusing himself and continuing on his way. "Way to leave a man hanging Tokoyami!"
"What the fuck?!" Bakugo's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets as he furiously glared at the pro hero.
"Bakugo so nice to see you." He smirked. "But if you're looking for Hawks he's not here right now, but I'll be more than happy to deliver the message."
"Quite the bullshit, what the hell were you thinking?!"
"About what?" He casually shoved his hands in his pocket finding Bakugo's attitude towards him right now a little more entertaining than the meeting he was schedule to attend half an hour ago. "You have to be a little more specific since my day's booked with a lot of that."
Bakugo's irritation only seemed to grow the more he stared at the hero in front of him who seemed to have no care in the world. "How the hell are you supposed to work with an asshole like that and then allow him anywhere near that kid?!"
Raising his hand to stop him, Hawks let out an dramatic breath before answering. "Now I know Endeavor's had his mistakes in the past, but we've all tried to work past that and agreed we wouldn't talk about him like that anymore remember?"
"What-no! I'm not talking about him!" Bakugo frustratingly bit back although he never recalled having any conversation of that sort. "I'm talking about that dipshit that used to work for that psycho bitch." When he saw Hawks slowly blink back clearly lost, Bakugo had the sudden urge to punch this guy in his carefree face. "Dumbass I'm talking about that guy living with Round-face!"
"Oh Kenzo!" Hawks busted out laughing, lightly patting Bakugo on the back. "Why didn't you say so?"
"I did." Inhaling calmly through his nose, it took everything he had to not lash out at the man.
"Anyways kid, what's the problem? Kenzo's been a good addition to the team and I've been working with him for years."
"So I've heard." Bakugo forced out between gritted teeth which only made Hawks curiously fold his arms over his chest as he thoughtfully raised a hand to his chin.
"Is that so?"
Narrowing his eyes Bakugo heard him only thoughtfully hum before Hawks casually turned to leave.
"Why didn't you tell me that that ex-villain was living with Round-Face?"
"I'm sorry, was I supposed to?" Hawks paused to look over his shoulder. "As far as I'm concerned, she hasn't made any complains about it giving that she was the one that offered to help." He observed the way Bakugo's hands clenched before cockily smiling at the up-and-coming hero, understanding that perhaps Bakugo wasn't aware of that little fact. "And last I checked Uraraka was allowed to do what she wants. Or am I wrong?" At Bakugo's silence Hawks tiredly looked at the ceiling before turning fully to face him. "Look man if you're worried about the kid, don't be. I know Kenzo and his brother enough to know no harm will come to little Kiseki and he's got a tough mom to get behind too."
"I'm not worried." Bakugo grumbled before looking away.
"Of course you're not. Because that would only make you human." Hawks knowingly grinned.
"Whatever." Shaking his head Bakugo took a few steps back to his office aware that Hawks hadn't moved from his spot.
He meant what he said before about trusting Uraraka enough to know what she was doing. He just hoped that it was just his stupid paranoia to blame and nothing else. Which now allowed him to think back on the other problem constantly plaquing his mind as of late.
Her.
He could still feel her frantic breathing against his cheek as he stared down at her big brown eyes that always seemed to leave him confused and speechless recently. The more he stared at them the more he kept finding himself not knowing what to do. How was that even possible?
He never remembered ever feeling this lost in his life, questioning ever move, words spoken or look given when it came down to another person. Nor feeling the constant need to question the reason as to why she or anyone did what they did in hopes of hearing something he wasn't even sure he knew he wanted to hear.
And the worse part was that he came really close to fuckin crossing a line that didn't need crossing. What the hell was he thinking?!
But the lines seemed to get blurrier, painful and unrecognizable the longer he lingered around this girl which he couldn't afford anymore.
There was just no other way to describe the complicated mixed feelings that came over him after the situation they found themselves in the other day. Attraction was one thing…but what he felt that day was something completely different. Now that's not to say that he didn't enjoy the way she seemed just as shaken up by his stupid action like he had been -however brief- but he thought that after going back to his usual routine everything would fit right back into place if it weren't for the way he constantly found himself searching for her every chance he had whenever he was at the Agency or out patrolling. Trying to find any glimpse of the familiar black and pink that was Uravity with no such luck.
After the police arrived at the scene and reporters began interviewing him, he somehow lost sight of her after that and hadn't seen her since.
"Oi." Without turning, Bakugo could still feel Hawks intrigued eyes on him. "Have you seen here?"
"Who? Uravity?" Hawks raised a questioning brow. "Wasn't feeling 100 so i told her to go home and take the rest of the day off." He answered as he rubbed his head remembering he had to pretty much force her to leave knowing she was pushing herself too hard at times. "Seems there's something you two have in common. Uraraka hasn't asked for a sick day since she's joined my agency."
When Bakugo finally turned with an expressionless face Hawks found himself having a hard time pinpointing what was exactly going through his mind right now.
"And that assignment you and half and half had us doing that was a complete waste of time?"
"Oh that?" Hawks dismissively grinned remembering when Todoroki told him just who he had assigned to check the building, he expected to hear from Uraraka after that. But since she hadn't been feeling well supposed that helped him stay alive for now. "Pfft it was just a simple recon nothing to it. Got word of a guy living there that I had some business with that's all."
Unconvincingly nodding Bakugo knew that was a bullshit attempt at a lie, but nonetheless decided to let it go for now since he had the slight suspicion it had to do with that stupid case he wasn't allowed anywhere near.

Entering the apartment Uraraka went about floating the car seat with a snug Kiseki happily giggling next to her before she carefully placed it down. "Well at least you have enough energy for the both of us huh sweetie?" She weakly smiled while her sons' brows knit together and lips turned down in a frown which always reminded her of his dad.
It was the same look Kiseki always had on after she realized he never liked it when she looked this exhausted.
"Don't worry Kiseki mommy's alright." She forced a small smile. While walking into her bedroom she stares at her own mess of a wardrobe when she begins searching for a pair of clean clothes as her eyes fall on the laundry basket that was currently overflowing with dirty clothes she had yet time to clean, and her shoulders fall instantly. "Looks like we're officially adding laundry back to the never-ending to-do list huh Kiseki." she defeatedly sighs as she digs through the remaining set of clean clothes she luckily had left before moving over to his room and easily grabbing a fresh onesie since that was something she always made sure he had plenty of if she did find time to do laundry.
Exhausted from a long shift and removing him from the car seat, she went about getting them both settled in for the rest of the day as she changes into a pair of comfy baby pink sweatpants, white lose shirt and fuzzy, pink, bunny slippers ignoring the heaviness of her body as the weight of exhaustion threatened to pull her into sleep.
After leaving work she decided to pick up her child since she really didn't have the strength nor the energy today to even attempt to leave the comfort of her apartment again today. Luckily Mina said that she would stop by on her way home from work later and pick up some soup for which she was extremely thankful for.
Once Kiseki was feed and changed, she placed him on his small rocker hoping it would help ease him to sleep since she could barely keep her eyes open despite the million things currently running through her mind. She tried to keep her eyelids from pulling shut -which was hard since she barely got any sleep since she was up until 2:30 that morning and back up by 6:00 to get ready for work, all while hoping to avoid running into a certain someone.
She didn't know how she kept getting herself into these messes, but it seemed like it was always one thing after another. And now she was sick. She hadn't taken a sick day since she started at Hawks, but now was forced to take one. Not to mention she still had Kiseki to take care of.
Upon hearing her son's energetic squeal, she tiredly flopped herself face down on the couch. "What happened to napping like a good boy and not giving mommy a hard time?" she pouted but could never find it in herself to keep it long enough-not when she could see him toothlessly grinning back at her.
It was another hour before she managed to finally get Kiseki down for a nap and was so tempted to just curl up and sleep right here. She closes her eyes and finally relaxes, burying herself into the comfort of her couch since her heavy limbs wouldn't let her do anything else. She felt like she's been working double shift, and it took her barely a second to fall asleep after the long and exhausting day.
Bang Bang Bang!
Jolting awake to a loud banging sound. It takes her a moment to realize someone knocking really, really loudly on her front door. Groaning she lazily picked up her phone to check the time, realizing that it was too early for it to be Mina.
Forcing herself to climb out of the couch she involuntarily shivered and wrapped her arms around herself to help keep the tremors down to a minimum. Passing by one of the small mirrors, she finds herself staring back with the left side of her hair awkwardly standing up while she has some traces of dried droll on her cheek as well as her wrinkled shirt since Kiseki decided he would use it as his own personal chew toy earlier. "Seriously?"
Raising her hand to try and attempt to fix it the best way she could, she flinched when the pounding continued.
"I'm coming!" she shouted deciding to forget about her appearance all together, determining that whoever must be on the other side of that door should probably be the one afraid of her above anything else considering how sick and furious she now felt. Not to mention how tired and not awake enough she was to consider things like punching whoever was on the other side. "I'm coming." she grumbled and to her surprise the banging on the door swiftly stopped.
"Could you just-" Shuffling to the door she was about to tell the person to leave but her words dried up like water in desert when she saw Bakugo standing in the doorway already scowling at her, but she did notice the way his eyes briefly widened. "Bakugo?" She opens her mouth to speak when she notices something that her sleepy brain hadn't registered until now. "W-what are you doing here?"
With his hands stuffed in his pockets it had been pretty obvious that she was not expecting to see his face behind that door when she looked just as taken aback by his presence as he did. But his reaction was for a different reason.
His eyes traveled over her appearance which was when he noticed the bright red glow of her nose, puffiness under her eyes and the barely contained shivers she tried to hide. His eyes momentarily paused when he took in her clothes which made his lips twitch.
'Oh no…not my bunny slippers!' She inwardly cringed when she saw him now eyeing her strangely, and as sad as it was, already felt her cheeks turning bright red just as his eyes rose to meet hers.
"Holy shit you look like hell."
Suddenly all of her confusion was instantly replaced by an aggravated glare, so tempted to shut the door on his handsome face. "What do you want Bakugo?" she flatly asked, her mood souring.
It wasn't that she considered herself to look even the tiniest bit appealing right now, but with the way she was feeling…humiliation wasn't necessarily something she was seeking out right now.
"You missed work." He irritatingly raised the small white plastic bag he had been holding and she had failed to see through her heavy eyelids. "And Alien freak wanted me to drop this by."
"Oh."
He observed the way she clung onto the door and his eyes bounced between it and her stunt face. Would he mention that he flat out told the pink girl that he'd drop it off after work and check in on her? No, since the honest truth was that he snatched the bag from her pink stubborn claws and instead told her not to worry since it was on his way anyways and that he promised to tell Uraraka to call her as well as Deku, and even glasses to make sure she was still in one piece. Like he wouldn't know how to check on a damn sick person like some useless extra.
"Are we going to stand here all day or are you going to let me in?" his eyes slowly narrowed when instead of saying anything she simply nodded and stepped aside.
She must really be under the weather since there is no other explanation for why she decided to let him into her apartment with it just being the two of them -and Kiseki of course who was now frowning as soon as his eyes landed on Bakugo still standing by the doorway.
"What are you doing here?" she rubbed her arms as she moved further into her apartment frowning, since she wasn't entirely sure why Mina would ask him to check on her of all people. "We're not partner's anymore."
"No shit." Holding her gaze, he resisted the urge to scowl back when a small movement caught his attention. Moving away from the doorway and into the apartment he quietly closed the door behind him as he continued to keep his eyes on the small infant who was still staring at him even after he had taken off his shoes.
Flicking his eyes to the boys' mother, he was just about to tell her the uncanny resemblance the boy held right now as he glared back at Bakugo, until he saw the unamused expression already plastered on her face and decided that perhaps right now may not be the time to temp the beast that is Ochaco Uraraka. Anyone with bunny slippers might give you the impression that they were harmless, but he knew firsthand never to underestimate this woman.
Rolling his eyes he placed the soup on her dining table. "Raccoon eyes told me to tell you to call her when you can…and Deku…and the ex-class rep."
Snapping her mouth shut she couldn't help but quietly giggle at the annoyed tone in his voice since Bakugo wasn't necessarily one to willingly give messages. "Food and a message…"
"If you even want to call that food." He watched her tiredly move the rocker closer to the table when Kiseki began fussing, before tiredly collapsing down on the chair. It would appear that even the boy's personality matched Uraraka's right now and he was merely target practice for their little family when she wouldn't meet his eyes.
Using this chance while Bakugo's was busy scanning her apartment, she involuntarily let her sleepy eyes give a lazily sweep of his clothes since he was wearing black shorts and black hoodie which made her think that he was probably going to the gym after this.
How was this fair? She glumly placed her face on the table. He could wear the simplest things and still look like the sexiest man she'd ever laid eyes on while here she was in pink sweats and a red stuffy nose.
Life could be so cruel sometimes.
Opening his mouth, he was just about to tell her he was leaving. Satisfied to know that at least things between them was the same as before and that his little screw up the other day was just that, but he never got the chance to when he heard her sniffling and reach for one of the napkins on the table before covering her face.
"Oh fuck…" He bit his tongue when he remembered there was still a pair of small crimson eyes judgingly staring up at him when Uraraka began rubbing her nose. "Are you laughing or crying?!" he demanded to know when all she did was shake her head. Like that was supposed to give him all the answers.
"I'm sorry." She quietly whimpered, finding that her emotional roller-coaster right now was a sure way to make him run for the door. Now she was sick and crying.
Understanding the reasoning behind her behavior Bakugo reluctantly grabbed the plastic bag and began marching towards the kitchen. "When was the last time you had a break?"
'Hmm?" Lifting her head she was surprised to see him moving around the kitchen.
"You heard me. You're sick, tired and barely sleep I can tell." He pointed a stern finger when she opened her mouth to protest before going about trying to heat up the food. "When was the last time you had a decent night's rest?"
She was quiet for a few seconds with her eyes still burning, feeling drained, exhausted and her nose was still red and sensitive from wiping it all day.
"So I thought." He scoffed as he pulled out a pot.
"Should you really be saying this?" she frowned. "You work double shifts Bakugo."
"Yeah, because I want to, there's a difference. If I don't then I don't have to. If I want to sleep in like the rest of those lazy morons then I could, but you can't." Removing the container from the bag he went about searching for any seasoning that could make this at least somewhat edible after shooting her a pointed look. He knew he wasn't an expert on this by any means and that there was no instruction manual to parenting, that you kind of had to find out what worked for you-or so he's heard.
So he could only imagine how much work this put on her which got him to thinking…where the hell was the kid's dad?
Whipping around he was just about to ask her when he saw her already passed out asleep in the same position she had been in a minute ago. Weighting his options he knew he couldn't very well wake her, otherwise that would make him the biggest asshole since clearly she needed all the rest she could get, and if he left…who would keep an eye on this little boy who still had yet to remove his curious eyes from Bakugo. Like he was just waiting for him to mess up.
Pulling out his phone he thought about calling Kirishima so he could tell Pinky to rush over here, but then the thought of Raccoon eyes watching the baby made Bakugo think twice. Putting his phone back in his pocket, he quietly walked over to Uraraka who still remained sleeping with her cheeks on top of her arms. "You are literally a human version of a headache you know that Pink Cheeks?"
Dragging his hand down his face he frantically searched his brain on what he should do with a small infant now scowling at him. How the hell did he keep getting himself in these situations? Granted he was the one that decided to come here- only to make sure that whatever shit happened between them or the weird illusion of what may have almost happened…would never happen again. But now he was stuck here with an overly sick Uraraka and apparently unfriendly baby.
Mina did say that Kiseki warms up to you once he gets used to you…so maybe this was it- not that he really cared what a baby thought of him either way.
For the better part of his life his professional and personal aspirations were always pretty simple. To be the best, to become the number one hero and kill everyone in his path- was that so much to ask?
Pressing his lips together, he couldn't help but change that goal slightly throughout the years considering that those people he planned to step on became an important part of his life…including the woman who was currently knocked out amusingly snoring through a semi clogged nose next to him.
Quietly leaning down he carefully lifted her up, her head lazily falling against his neck which made him instantly turn his head only to see Kiseki's eyes narrow as he began opening his mouth with a mischievous grin which made Bakugo's eyes widen in alarm.
This kid really was a ticking time bomb ready to go off as soon as he saw his mommy sleepily snuggling into Bakugo's arms.
Afraid that that would be the case, Bakugo quickly raised his finger to his mouth hoping to silence the baby and convince him to stay quiet otherwise she was sure to wake.
"Wait…"
He could see her attempt to open her sleepy eyes but knew she couldn't. "Take it easy Round-face. I've got you."
Readjusting his hold on her, he slowly began walking towards what he assumed to be her room since it was the only door that was left ajar enough for him to see inside.
"You still smell good Ka…"
Clearing his throat, he was suddenly aware of the heat climbing up his neck when she began nuzzling her nose against it. "Well as far as compliments go…yours are shit Round-face." He didn't bother hiding his smirk since she looked pretty much out of it. But it sure as hell wasn't the first compliment she'd given him lately which made him think back to the interview like he promised he wouldn't do.
"At least your rooms better than it was in high school." he lowly chuckled as he took in the scattered mess.
When he entered, she began mumbling in her sleep again which only made him want to smile, and the scent of her hair which smelled of fresh sweet flowers that still lingered in her hair felt so warm and inviting that he hesitated a moment longer than he needed to when he started trying to recall a time he may have been close enough to smell that familiar scent before gently placing her down on her bed.
He watched her curl up on it as soon as he laid her down.
Her thick eyelashes casting long shadows over her unusual rosier cheeks had him instinctively reach out to remove some of her hair from her face as he stares down at her for another few seconds. "Get some rest Round-face. I'll make sure to keep an eye on your kid." He quietly said, carefully covering her with her blanket when he saw her shiver.
Raising his hand he briefly paused before placing his palm against her sweaty forehead, while looking around to make sure he wasn't being watched somehow. Like his friends would barge in on him any minute since normally he wouldn't be caught dead doing anything remotely like this and frankly wasn't even sure why he was.
Hearing her whimper made him refocus on the person in front of him as she desperately clutched onto the blanket and relax into his palm which made him stare back in shock.
Sure pushing aside the red puffy nose, the lines under her eyes, the way her snot tried to escape out of her nose while she tried to breath and now hearing the continues cute snores…he still couldn't help but find her…breathtaking.
"Oh what the hell's wrong with me?" he muttered, shaking his head in frustration and quietly walking out of the room so she could get some much-needed rest.
X
After closing the door behind him Bakugo briskly walked back towards the dining table where Kiseki questioningly stared at him while trying to fit his tiny fist into his mouth. Smirking Bakugo eyed the little boy as he approached him. "If you're trying to look intimidating, I've got news for you kid. Try harder."
Removing his fist from his mouth the baby briefly stuck his tongue out before uncomfortably wiggling in his rocker and whine. Bakugo frantically snapped his head from Kiseki, to the bedroom and back urging him to stay quiet, which only resulted in the boy beginning to let out small cries.
'Shit…' He uncomfortably unbuckled Kiseki from the rocker before reluctantly lifting him up as he kicked his legs. "Oi I don't like this anymore than you do brat, but you're gonna have to work with me here." Bakugo disgustedly winced when he held the infant in front of him at arm's length before reluctantly taking a quick sniff.
Ok he didn't need changing so at least that was something he could avoid for now since he understood that these creatures seemed to do a lot of that. When he attempted to place him back where he belonged Kiseki began to kick his legs once more in protest which made the blond apprehensively pull him closer.
Holding the tiny baby that seemed so small was still new to him. His head was a crazy mass of thick brown that wobbled beneath his supporting hand. "Ok you don't need changing…" he thought out loud as he searched around the apartment for the answer since it wasn't like he knew a thing about babies other from what he heard, as well as hanging out with Kaminari. But unlike Chargebolt, he doubted throwing in a video game or talking about music would keep this kid stay occupied for long.
Lightly bouncing on his feet, he subconsciously pulled Kiseki closer towards his chest while the infant stared up at him with those big eyes while he pulled out his phone and began searching there until he found something useful.
"Hungry…? Are you hungry kid?" Scoffing, Bakugo swiftly turned towards the kitchen after putting his phone in his pocket in search of a milk carton but stopped when he saw the few bottles of milk lining part of the refrigerator.
"Hell no." Shaking his head he was just about to slam the door shut until he realized he had no option but to reach for one. "Can't believe this…" groaning he glared at the awaiting child as he went about warming it up for him like it said on his phone. "I swear if you tell anyone about this…" he uttered, unable to finish that sentence when he saw Kiseki's mouth already opening in preparation to be fed when he hovered the bottle over his mouth.
"Alright you win this time." Bakugo slowly smirked as he watched the boy eat, wondering how someone this little could give him so much grief…but than again this was Uraraka's kid so that must've been something he picked up from her.
"You don't like me very much do you?" he found himself asking after a while, understanding that this was a ridiculous conversation to have with a baby whose sole purpose right now was trying to finish this bottle as fast as he could. "Guess I can't blame you." He sighs thinking back on the only two times he's met this boy, and both times he didn't particularly seem fond of someone he did not know.
Which Bakugo could definitely relate to.
When he was sure Kiseki was full, he placed him against his shoulder to try and burp him as he walked over to the kitchen to put the bottle in the sink. Lightly patting his back, his patience was thinning when he had yet to heat a single noise come out of this boy. He was sure this was the right way to do it.
"Alright let's make a deal." Bakugo removed the infant from his shoulder to stare at him. "You clearly don't like me, and I couldn't care either way. But right now, we're stuck together so we might as well try and make the best out of this fu-messed up situation." Watching Kiseki's chubby cheeks get bigger as he stared back at him had Bakugo take that to mean that either he agreed, or he'd give him hell. But there was a very good chance that it meant the latter.
He honestly didn't get an answer or flinch away in time since it all happened so fast. One moment he was staring back at this chubby cheeked boy who seemed so aware of everything around him, and the next he found himself covered in what was supposed to be a burp turned vomit.
Scrunching his eyes and mouth shut, he however managed to whip his head away in time to avoid the second wave which now landed everywhere else on his shirt.
After apprehensively opening his eyes, he really wished he hadn't after surveying the damage done.
Great, now he was covert in baby vomit with a toothless Kiseki sheepishly grinning back at him.
Sticking his tongue out in a nauseating expression, Bakugo couldn't help but think back to a time in high school where they were partnered up and the unpleasant side effects of Uraraka's quirk took effect midair and he unfortunately was the victim in all this.
