Chapter 1001

Something For Myself

Savannah wanted all the Metal girls to reunite with their lovers. Cameron wanted to stay out with her. She insisted Cameron return to spend time with John. She also encouraged her to seriously think about going on the cruise with just John and no one else. She told Cameron again she wasn't going to go with them.

She knew it would be the perfect setting for things to escalate. It wouldn't just be with John. It would be with Cameron as well. If it were to happen, and both of them focused on her instead of each other, it would completely defeat the purpose of them going on the cruise together in the first place to reaffirm their love and commitment to each other. The same thing could happen at the Resistance base, with the same results, without the cruise thrown in.

Savannah believed they needed to be isolated from everyone else and all outside influence to fully share with each other in a meaningful way. Anyone else there would be a distraction, just because they were there. She figured Cameron wasn't done yet trying to get her to go. She would need to make sure Cameron didn't lean on Young Allison either.

The rest of the Metal girls returned back to the base. Only Cammy and Savannah stayed out.

Savannah wanted to follow up on the homeless people who assisted them with information. She was especially concerned about Susan. She was the homeless female who assisted them the most. The abuse done to Susan previously, didn't sit well with her. She wanted to do something about it on more than one level.

Cammy wanted to return the shirt to the homeless man who gave it to her because she only wore a bra at the time. It was a kind gesture by someone who seemed to have so little. He gave her the shirt off his back. It appeared he wore several more underneath, but obviously he didn't have many possessions, and probably not much apparel either.

Savannah watched Cammy neatly fold the dirty shirt. All the lines were creased and crisp like a shirt purchased in a store. It looked a little strange with the ragged material which was stained and dirty in multiple places.

"Are you going to give it back to the man?" Savannah asked.

Cammy would have liked to have washed it first. She felt very uneasy when he insisted she take it. She thought the feeling was 'guilt'. She thought refusing it would be insulting to the homeless man and make him feel bad about himself because the shirt was old and dirty. How could she take something from someone with so little to begin with?

"Yes. It was nice of him to loan it to me." Cammy said. "I really appreciate the gesture he made. He was concerned about my appearance and how someone may try to take advantage of me by only wearing my bra."

Savannah saw how skimpy Cammy's bra was. It showed a lot, and didn't cover much. She could understand how anyone would see it as a problem in the vicinity they were in. It was a rough neighborhood around the supermarket. Well, maybe not so much going forward.

She could see Cammy was 'touched'. She thought it was a good thing. It appeared Cammy could feel 'empathy' in her own way. She hoped it was a positive influence from her.

"Sometimes it's nice to have help." Savannah said. "We can stop at Sprawl-mart and pick them up some new clothes. It won't take long."

Cammy tilted her head slightly. It seemed like an excellent idea to her. She was sure it would help lift the spirits of the homeless individuals who helped them. She knew it could be a problem sometimes. Based upon the current scenario and their previous interaction, she didn't believe it would be.

"I'd like to do it." Cammy said. "I want to do it. Thank you for suggesting it."

Cammy wondered why she didn't think of it on her own. It was clearly the obvious choice on what to do.

She checked with John Henry for the closest Sprawl-mart. It was only a mile away and on the route to where they were headed.

Savannah climbed in the back and made sure everything was stowed and covered. They would only take their Tasers and sidearms with them.

Cammy pulled into the Sprawl-mart parking lot. The store only recently opened. It was still relatively early in the morning. They went inside and headed for the clothes department.

Savannah wanted to do something nice, but she didn't want it to produce negative results.

"I want to dress Susan up nice, but I don't want her to be abused because she looks nice. I'm also worried about her physical appearance. I know it has to bother her. Her face is really messed up."

Cammy brought up an image of Susan's face from her files. She could tell there was some permanent damage, but the most recent beating is what was very evident. She wanted to give Savannah some reassurance.

"I think her appearance will improve when the swelling and bruising goes away." Cammy said. "I don't think she'll look like a twenty something though. Some of the damage may be permanent. It's evident her face was beaten severely before."

It sickened Savannah to know someone would try to disfigure the face of a young woman, just to make her unappealing to other males. She was glad Sheila busted up the Ogre in the way she did. She still would have liked to have used the knife herself on him. If a situation like it ever arose again, she was going to be the one to use the knife and make sure they knew why she was using it, as she used it.

Cammy and Savannah picked out things for the four homeless individuals and prepared to leave. Before they took off, Savannah made a few calls and spoke with the store manager.

Savannah and Cammy arrived at the homeless shelter. They checked on Susan and the homeless men who were concerned about her well being. They were all able to get cleaned up and eat a few healthy meals.

It was evident the homeless shelter was better than living on the street. It still appeared to be a rather depressing place to be. There would probably still be some petty theft and minor arguments, but no one in the shelter needed to worry about being abused or killed. It could still happen over some pre-existing situation between a few individuals, but it wasn't common anyway.

Savannah gave the package with new clothes to Susan. Susan looked inside and started to cry. Savannah gave her a hug and held it for a short time.

Cammy wanted to distribute the new clothes to the three men. She first gave the folded shirt back to the man who lent it to her and thanked him. She then gave each of them a bag with new clothes. They were all deeply emotionally touched. They were all very thankful. It brought tears to their eyes but they held it together pretty good. It seemed to make a positive impact on all of them.

Savannah took Susan off to the side and talked to her for a while about going into rehab. She promised once she was 'clean', someone would help her get her life started again. Susan agreed to try it.

Cammy contacted CamNet and arrangements were made for Susan to get into rehab. They explained to the men they wanted to try to help Susan a little more. All of the men were very appreciative of it, one more so than the others. It was clear he possessed deep feelings for Susan.

One of the men took Savannah off to the side. There was a very concerned look on his face.

"What about the Ogre?" The homeless man asked. "He will try and take everything from us, just to take it. It's never because he wants to use it. He just doesn't want anyone to have anything."

Savannah glanced in the direction of Susan and Cammy. She then focused her attention on the homeless man.

"I wouldn't worry about him." Savannah said. "Ever again…."

The homeless man looked a little hesitant. He looked around and moved a little closer to Savannah.

"Ever again?" The homeless man whispered. "Is he gone for good?"

Savannah moved a little closer to the homeless man.

"You will never see him again." Savannah whispered. "He's taken a permanent vacation."

The homeless man looked around. He moved a little closer to Savannah.

"Does he sleep with the fishes?" The homeless man whispered.

Savannah remained close to the homeless man. She knew they needed peace of mind going forward. They would continue to live in fear of the Ogre, even if he was dead, and they didn't know.

"I personally watched him pay for his crimes against Susan, and everyone else who he abused." Savannah whispered. "Justice was served. I think we should leave it there. You need to be wary of anyone who tries to take his place. I can guarantee you it won't be his two henchmen either."

The homeless man looked at Savannah for a second and saw she was serious. It seemed as if the Ogre and his two thugs paid the price for their crimes against humanity.

"Thank you for everything." The homeless man said. "Thank you for helping Susie. I want to see her make it. She deserves so much more than what she currently has."

They left the men behind after they were both thanked again by all of them.

Cammy and Savannah took Susan to rehab and checked her in. It was a facility which didn't allow self checkout. At least it wouldn't in Susan's case. CamNet made an arrangement for five times the normal fee for them to keep her there until she was clean and no longer dependent. Susan was to be given special care and treatment. There would be arrangements made for a cosmetic surgeon to visit her as well. There was a very good chance her former beauty could be restored somewhat. It might not be all the way, but it would be close.

Savannah told Susan she would make sure someone visited her every few days. CamNet said it would be taken care of.

Cammy could see Susan wanted to ask one more question.

"Will the…." Susan started but stopped.

Cammy saw the conversation Savannah carried on with the one homeless man. She knew what the topic discussed was. She could see Susan would need a little peace of mind going forward.

"He will never bother anyone ever again, nor will his two cronies." Cammy whispered. "It's just what it sounds like. I was there when justice was served. It's time to restart your life."

Savannah and Cammy wished her well and they headed off.

They passed a delivery truck from Sprawl-mart. It was headed to the homeless shelter with a quarter of the clothing inventory from the local Sprawl-mart. CamNet picked up the tab with some of the money she confiscated from the Syndicate casino accounts. They were the accounts when the Syndicate complained they couldn't find them in the system any longer, it would show the accounts never existed. Their money was just gone without a trace. CamNet could make anyone's accounts disappear and even have the money vanish into thin air.

Cammy could see Savannah looked happy and cheerful. It pleased her. She felt pleased by the overall experience they just went through as well.

"Where would you like to go now?" Cammy asked. "You must be hungry, tired, and sore. I would have liked to have been with you for the magnificent sunrise and beauty around the port area earlier."

Savannah was very pleased to see Cammy find beauty in the same thing she did at the port. She was hungry, tired, and sore as well. She wasn't going to say anything or even admit it.

"I'm fine." Savannah said. "I'm glad you got to see the beauty at the port."

Cammy frowned a little bit. Savannah's response reminded her too much of Cameron. She knew Cameron was a bad influence on Savannah. She didn't think Savannah was fine.

"Remember it's not just you." Cammy said as she glanced at Savannah's lower belly. "You carry a very precious cargo. You have Vanna's baby to think about."

Savannah didn't think it was a big deal. Her body was in good physical condition.

"I'm fine, Cammy." Savannah said.

Cammy headed back to the base.

Savannah was quiet for a long time before she spoke. She didn't want to cause a problem, but there were things she needed to do. They were already interrupted several times by Skynet activity. She let out a long breath.

"I need to see CamNet." Savannah said.

Cammy said nothing. It was clear she didn't want to take Savannah there.

Savannah didn't like the distress she caused Cammy. She wanted to make her position clear.

"I know the 'Cameron' in you doesn't agree." Savannah said. "She may not always like the way I do things. There are things which need to be done. I need to do them."

Cammy looked at Savannah. She felt she was her own individual as well. She didn't want to be a Bitch like Cameron was.

"I don't agree with them either as Cammy, as myself." Cammy said.

There wasn't much Savannah could say. She needed to honor her obligation.

"I promised to do things for CamNet." Savannah said.

Cammy knew what it really was.

"Is it only to keep CamNet away from Young Allison?" Cammy asked. "Are you going to 'trade' yourself?"

Savannah felt she needed to protect Young Allison and not have her emotionally damaged in an unhealthy 'love' relationship with a super computer. It was before CamNet was provided with a chassis.

"I need to protect Young Allison." Savannah said. "I'll do whatever I have to do to protect her. I will do whatever every Savannah Weaver would do for every Allison Young. It's just that simple. Please don't make it a problem for me."

Cammy knew of the deep unbreakable love relationship with every Savannah Weaver and every Allison Young. She was aware every Savannah Weaver would do whatever she needed to do to protect every Allison Young. There was more than one timeline to prove it.

She couldn't help but feel a little jealous. It did bother her. She knew what would happen with Savannah and Young Allison from the moment of her creation. She understood it was a part of the 'Natural Order'. If nothing else, it was the 'Natural Order' for every Savannah Weaver and Allison Young.

"You really love Young Allison." Cammy said.

Savannah could feel a tingle deep inside of her which touched her heart.

"I do." Savannah said. "I've loved her from the first time I saw her."

Cammy wanted to warn Savannah. She was well aware of how the machines thought. They were very relentless in the pursuit of a goal.

"CamNet will not let up." Cammy said. "Whatever you do may only be temporary. You need to understand it."

Savannah did understand it. It wasn't a pleasant thought either. Right now, it was what it was.

"It was an unhealthy relationship for Young Allison to be 'involved' with. She was inexperienced and vulnerable." Savannah said. "It was wrong. She was taken advantage of. I understand what CamNet must have experienced being trapped inside of a metal box. It was still wrong to do."

Cammy loved Savannah very much. She didn't like to share her with anyone, but she did. Savannah taught her to share with others as well. It was a very beautiful experience.

"I won't stand in your way." Cammy said. "I never have."

Savannah reached over and squeezed Cammy's arm gently. Her true desire existed within her. It always called to her and guided her.

"I know and appreciate it." Savannah said. "I've been with many of the girls. I don't regret it at all. I wanted you to understand and be able to do the same thing."

Cammy was with many of the girls herself too. It just seemed right at the time. In fact, anytime with any of the girls, Metal or human, seemed right. There was plenty of love to share between all of them. She was aware from personal experience it was Cameron who actually sacrificed the most.

"Cameron wants you to feel loved and wanted. She never wants you to feel lonely." Cammy said. "She's sacrificed for you."

There were times Savannah felt very guilty about it. She knew Cameron wanted to be with her, and she wanted to be with Cameron. It always seemed something got in the way. She understood Cameron wanted to be with her on the cruise if she went. It just couldn't be like that. Cameron needed to stay close to John. Maybe it was she who sacrificed now. It also bothered her to have Cameron or Cammy take her to see CamNet.

"I know she has. You're sacrificing too." Savannah said. "I'll keep all my promises to Cameron. I swear it."

Cammy felt differently about it. She believed what Cameron did to Savannah was even worse than what CamNet did with Young Allison.

"It was wrong for Cameron to make a young girl promise her children, and her love." Cammy said. "She should have known better when she wanted those things to happen."

Savannah did know she was young when she made those promises. Maybe she didn't fully understand either of them to the full extent of everything at the time they were made. She did believe she understood about love. Cameron didn't make her make those promises. She made them on her own. She didn't see any reason why she couldn't help Cameron when she would be able to. She loved Cameron. Love often involved sacrifice. The one thing she wasn't aware of when she made the promise as a girl to give Cameron her children, was how much it would actually affect her emotionally. Events made it easier for her to justify her actions.

"I would still do the same things again." Savannah said. "They were the right things to do. I needed to help 'myself' too. I would want the same 'help' for me if I was barren like they've all been made by Skynet."

Cammy was unsure of what exactly her place was or was going to be. It looked very bleak once the 'Natural Order' was established. Four people in a relationship would be very crowded. She was sure John would want to spend as much time as he couldn't with Savannah and Young Allison. She believed it was because of the emotional response he would be able to feel from them. She loved both Savannah and Sheila dearly. There was a major difference in the way each of those relationships played out. One was very much based on an emotional level. The other one was based very much on a physical level.

"What's going to happen to us, to me?" Cammy asked.

Savannah looked at Cammy and felt a strong tightness in her throat. The way everything seemed to change, she no longer could provide an answer for the question.

"I really don't know anymore." Savannah said. "I really don't."

Cammy sat in silence for a few minutes. What was there to say? It was clear her time was limited. She didn't think anyone liked to face the prospect being cast aside. She saw they were in the neighborhood of one of the large indoor malls. An idea popped into her head. She quickly glanced at Savannah.

"I'm going to stop by a 'high end' jewelry store." Cammy said.

Savannah was lost deep in thought about the complexities in her life. She wondered how much of what she needed to do was love, and how much of it was now an obligation. She needed to think about what Cammy said for a few moments. It seemed as if there needed to be a further explanation.

"What do you need to stop for?" Savannah asked.

Savannah wondered if Cammy was going to pick out a set of heavy gauge and larger diameter jewelry. She hoped so. She felt the larger the diameter, the better it would be. She pictured Cammy wearing a 'see through' tube top with a set of large diameter rings. She thought it would make a bold and distinctive statement about Cammy.

Wait.

Maybe she was going to get them for Sheila. It would be good as well. She knew not only would she be able to check them out, but Sheila would make sure everyone was able to check them out. She needed to play it cool for now and see what developed.

Samantha was active. She checked on Riley and Precious.

"Is there anything I can help you with this morning?" Samantha asked.

She thought maybe she would need to go back into standby. She didn't want to be in the way.

Riley was very thankful for all of Samantha's assistance.

"You've already helped a lot." Riley said.

Riley was pretty sure she would have buckled by this point in time if she wouldn't have received all the help she received.

Samantha noted Derek wasn't around.

"Where's Derek off to?" Samantha asked.

Riley felt she placed a big burden on Derek's back as well. She didn't want to restrict him from his normal activities and duties.

"He went on a recon mission with Kyle." Riley said. "He offered to stay and help me but I told him I was good."

Samantha tilted her head slightly. She looked at Riley.

"Are you?" Samantha asked.

Riley didn't feel as overwhelmed anymore. She felt hope again. She wanted to do better. She wanted to be better.

"I'm trying." Riley said. "You've helped me greatly."

Samantha smiled at Riley.

"Vanna is on duty to come if Precious needs her." Samantha said.

Earlier Riley looked out into the hall when there were multiple joyous reunions going on. All of the Metal girls were back from an operation and no one was damaged.

"I saw all the girls were paired up with their lovers." Riley said. "I mean their cyborg lovers. Everyone looked very happy. The atmosphere of joy made me feel happy as well. It's nice to see everyone happy."

Samantha was unsure if her statement needed a reply. It did indicate Vanna and Jesse would both be 'busy' for a while.

"Give the girls plenty of notice if you can." Samantha said. "How's your production?"

Riley looked down at her breasts with contempt. They just didn't work like they should. She knew she shouldn't complain because at least she could have a baby. So far none of the other girls from the future were able to do so. She didn't want to seem negative when everyone was there to help her.

"The same or less I think." Riley said. "I hate to bother the girls."

Samantha was able to observe how emotionally uplifting it was for the other girls.

"Nonsense…." Samantha said. "This is something both Jesse and Vanna want."

Riley felt a little guilty about her earlier thoughts. The girls indicated to her what a positive experience it was for them.

"They both told me they didn't feel valueless anymore as females." Riley said. "I think Cameron also did it to help them get past it. Cameron was able to help me and help them both at the same time. Cameron is a very special individual"

Riley didn't know Cameron actually wanted to accomplish several things by doing it. The main one was to get Vanna ready for her own child. The one Savannah carried for her.

Samantha was aware Allison was going to need assistance as well.

"Cameron also did it for Allison and her baby." Samantha said.

Riley swallowed hard with her statement. She felt even guiltier than she did previously.

"I hate to ask, but how is it going?" Riley asked. "How is everything working out?"

Samantha frowned slightly.

"Not well." Samantha said.

Riley didn't think it would be a problem in the end.

"Cameron will fix it." Riley said. "She fixes everything."

'Except herself….' They both thought.

Samantha didn't know all the details. She didn't know Cameron was very resilient.

"I think it's safe to say, it would be a mistake to bet against her." Samantha said.

John was tired out and 'spent'. 'Little Willie' was wasted right now, he needed a rest.

He just spent the last few hours with Cameron. They made love four times.

They started out with the traditional 'missionary position'. It was when Cameron reset her files to relive their wedding night again. When she did, it was literally her 'first' time. She was as excited as she was apprehensive. He was anxious to be with her and wanted to get started right away. He wanted to knock one off since he hadn't 'relieved' himself the previous night. She told him she wanted him to do the 'other things' first like the girls do with each other. He needed to give himself a little kick. He shouldn't have been so greedy to get started. He knew he needed to think about her needs as well. He wanted her 'first' experience to be pleasant for her as well. It was.

Once Cameron was able to relive her 'first' time, she reset her files. She could tell John was going to need a little help. She took over the next three times. The first one was the 'reverse cowgirl' where she faced away from John. The next one was the 'cowgirl' where she faced forward towards John. She was able to bend down and kiss him as he fondled her at times. The last one was 'animal style'. She was the one who provided all the motion. In each of those three instances. She didn't stop until she was satisfied. It took her quite a while to 'start up' John. It was a reminder to her the female body was far superior to the male body for multiple sexual encounters. It was in reference to the human girls and not just a female Terminator. She could literally make love until her power cell ran out or her systems overloaded from too much pleasure and shut her down. She thought it would be a beautiful way to 'go out'. She was ready for more. John was not.

"We still have nine hundred and ninety six more ways to try." Cameron said.

John looked down at 'Little Willie'. He was aware the name seemed very apt right now.

"I'm pretty well drained." John said. "I can't keep 'up' with you."

Cameron smiled at John. She was very pleased to spend time with him. She was glad Savannah suggested it.

"Tell me more about our honeymoon." Cameron said.

John carefully looked over all the information CamNet provided to him.

"We can take a California coastal cruise." John said. "It's only seven days and we're still close to home if anything happens."

Cameron was very pleased to hear John say it. The idea came from him this way instead of from her.

"It's a wonderful idea." Cameron said.

John wasn't sure how things would play out. He didn't know who else would go along or what type of security would be needed. He didn't think they would need much security on a ship out in the ocean most of the time.

"Do you want anyone else to come?" John asked and then quickly added. "I mean go with us."

Cameron saw it as the opportunity to bring more Metal girls along for a potential chip swap. She could use the tether too and not mess up her hair. It was the hardest thing to get right. She thought about the idea of the tether the more she thought about using the Metal girls' chassis. She could simply plug in and take over their chassis without physically having to pull her chip out and mess up anyone's hair. She figured she would need a long tether so she could assume any position and not have to look at her deactivate chassis. If she was in a different chassis, she didn't want to be reminded of her old one. She probably thought the best place for it would be on the floor next to the bed, or under the bed.

"I don't know yet." Cameron said. "I feel you'd be better protected if there were more Terminators with us. I think the Metal girls would blend in better."

John wasn't sure how the next part of his statement would go over. It took him a long time to appreciate everything his mother did for him and all of the sacrifices she made for him. He realized her entire life from the moment she met his father was about her devotion to him and the protection and hope it offered the future. He wanted to do something for her to show his appreciation. He knew it was a small thing but he believed it was important.

"I'd like for Sarah and Kyle to get out too." John said. "I want my parents to try something a little different. I think it would be something really different for both of them."

Cameron was unsure what obstacle it would create with her plan to provide John with 'different' versions of herself. She wanted to get her hands on the Metal girls' chassis. She wanted to be somebody different. The words slipped out of her mouth before she could contain them.

"No one brings their mother on their honeymoon." Cameron said.

John quickly realized the mood was going to sour. He understood what Cameron just said. He knew she was right. No one did bring their mother along on their honeymoon. He needed to think fast.

"I meant if it works out for us." John said. "We can have a few from the Resistance go every week. The ship will operate the same schedule for several months before they change it."

Cameron tilted her head slightly. She liked the idea even better. It would give her more opportunities to be with Savannah on one of the cruises. After she was with Savannah, she was going to bring Young Allison too.

"I think it would be good." Cameron said. "It's very thoughtful of you and shows what a kind son you are. Your parents should be proud of you."

Cameron still tried to figure a way to get Savannah along with them. She thought maybe she could get John to fulfill his destiny easier. She was pretty sure she could get John into a high state of arousal and slip Savannah into his bed again. She didn't think they would be able to resist each other. She knew John wouldn't anyway.

John could see Cameron scheming. He didn't know what was on her mind.

"We can think about it anyway." John said.

Cameron was very pleased John mentioned it to her. She hoped enough refractory time passed so he would be able to perform again.

"Are you ready to drop it down to nine hundred and ninety five?" Cameron asked.

John was aware as soon as he brought up the cruise, Cameron began to stimulate him. At first there wasn't any effect. Now he could feel there was some starting.

"If you keep doing what you're doing, I think so." John said.

Cameron lifted her head and looked up at John with a smile.

"My power cell lasts a long time…." Cameron said.

She lowered her head and went back to work. She picked the speed up along with the pressure. She knew she would have John ready in no time. She considered letting him finish the same way. He would be happy. It wouldn't do anything for her.

Cameron moved her head faster and further up and down.

Love was about sacrifice sometimes.

Anna looked over at Young Allison. She wasn't sure of everything she was doing or why. It seemed more like meddling than assisting.

Anna was aware of what Young Allison looked at.

"What are you looking for?" Anna asked.

Young Allison looked at the security feeds from the Resistance base. She was aware all the groups of girls, both Terminator and human, were reunited. She also knew Savannah and Cammy weren't among them.

"I was just checking out what was happening at the Resistance base." Young Allison said.

Anna figured it was a little more than just checking.

"Do you miss the others?" Anna asked.

Young Allison missed her sister.

"Yes." Young Allison said. "I miss Summer."

Anna knew Young Allison missed her mother as well. She didn't want to say it specifically, so she phrased her statement carefully.

"You miss all of them." Anna said.

Young Allison felt a little bit of a lump in her throat.

"I do." Young Allison said.

Anna wanted to remind Young Allison of a painful reality which awaited her.

"When you go to the past, you're not going to see most of them for a long while." Anna said.

It was a sobering thought for Young Allison. Maybe she wasn't as tough as she thought. She could already feel the emptiness with the others missing.

"I know it will seem like a long time." Young Allison said. "They've only been gone a short while."

Anna needed to prepare Young Allison for what awaited her.

"It's another thing you must factor in." Anna said.

Young Allison thought about what happened to Allison, Vanna, and Jesse. She didn't want it to happen to her, or to Summer.

"I want to bring Summer with me." Young Allison said.

Anna knew it was a contentious subject.

"Your mother doesn't want it." Anna said.

There was another issue Young Allison looked into. She needed some help to do it. She didn't want to involve CamNet but would if she needed to.

"I need you to get me some medical supplies." Young Allison said.

There was a long moment of silence.

"What kind?" Anna finally asked.

Young Allison was aware there was a way she could bring the future quicker. She named a few things to Anna.

There was an even longer moment of silence.

Anna looked very uncomfortable.

"Is it an order?" Anna asked.

Young Allison wanted things to happen. They weren't happening fast enough for her.

"Do I need to make it one?" Young Allison asked.

Anna was aware they were about to enter shaky ground.

"Yes." Anna said. "Savannah has specifically forbidden any manipulation of events regarding your health and well being."

Young Allison felt differently. It was her body. She should be able to do as she wanted with it.

"It is my body, not hers." Young Allison said.

Anna could see her words fell on deaf ears.

"Savannah's trying to protect you." Anna said.

Young Allison was clearly upset at this point.

"Protect me from what?" Young Allison asked.

Anna looked directly at Young Allison.

"Yourself…." Anna said.

Young Allison was clearly in a 'huff' at this point.

"It shows a lot of confidence in me." Young Allison said sarcastically.

Anna saw it completely differently. She thought Young Allison should as well.

"Or it shows someone loves you very much, just the way you are." Anna said. "They love you as yourself without any changes necessary."

Young Allison felt a twinge of guilt. It quickly passed.

"Did Savannah make it an order?" Young Allison asked.

Anna hoped her next words would have some meaning.

"No." Anna said. "I asked her about it specifically. Savannah said her love for you was the only thing needed for you to rethink your decision."

Young Allison understood Savannah's love for her and hoped the love would be strong enough to keep her from altering herself prematurely.

"Savannah said it?" Young Allison asked. "When was this?"

Anna didn't think the time period mattered.

"It was quite some time ago." Anna said.

Young Allison swallowed hard.

"She knew then…." Young Allison said.

Anna didn't think telling Young Allison it was something Savannah made clear long ago so Cameron wouldn't do anything to Young Allison to speed things up.

Cammy told Savannah why they were headed for the high end jewelry store.

It wasn't what Savannah hoped it would be.

Cammy thought Savannah would like to present CamNet with what she was going to give her in a fancy gold jewelry box.

Savannah wanted something different.

"I made a wooden box myself for what I want to give her." Savannah said. "It's something I made. I want it to be personal."

Cammy instantly understood the personal touch.

"I saw you working in the lab when everyone was away." Cammy said. "It's really thoughtful of you."

Savannah still questioned her decision at times to allow CamNet to have a chassis. Every time she ran it through her mind, she came back to the same conclusion she did the right thing. What she wanted to do next was an extension of it.

"CamNet outside of her server is my creation." Savannah said.

Cammy tilted her head slightly. She blamed Cameron for it. She didn't know it was Savannah's doing.

"I thought a mobile CamNet was Cameron's creation." Cammy said. "I know she was originally against the idea. I thought maybe she changed her mind."

It took quite a bit of convincing to get Cameron to sign on with what she wanted to do. The fact they were going to be near a jewelry store gave her another idea.

"Cameron may have received a little influence from me along the way." Savannah said. "We can still stop at the jewelry store."

Cammy was a little surprised. She never even saw Savannah look in a jewelry store when they passed by one when they went shopping.

"Are you going to get anything else?" Cammy asked.

Savannah thought of an idea she considered before. She decided to go through with it now. She didn't want to cause Cammy any additional stress. She decided to keep it simple.

"I'm going to order something for myself." Savannah said.

Cammy tilted her head slightly.

It was new. Savannah never obtained much for herself. It briefly crossed her mind maybe Savannah was going to procure a set of rings. She quickly discounted the idea. She knew Savannah was going to have nursing breasts in a few more months. She was already several months into her pregnancy with Vanna's baby.

It did cause her a little speculation to wonder exactly what she was up to. She didn't think it was anything for Cameron or even CamNet.

Wait.

Young Allison was alone in Palmdale with just Anna. Maybe Savannah wanted to take a bolder step with her. Somehow it didn't seem like it, the more she thought about it. She wondered if maybe it was something for her. She quickly discounted the idea as well. She didn't know Savannah could be as unpredictable as any of the rest of the humans at times. She did feel she knew her the best of all of the humans. It was understandable since they were lovers. She did want to know a little more.

She knew Savannah wanted Cameron and John to reaffirm their love and commitment to each other. They both possessed rings already. She would try to find out what was going on but not seem too invasive when she attempted to do it.

Closing monologue by Cameron:

Something For Myself

If one truly loves another
They will always put them first
When one won't do it
It shows they're the worst

The true test of love
Is said to be sacrifice
One not willing to do it
Didn't listen to good advice

Things go smooth at first
As long as it remains only two
It often soon changes
When things are knocked askew

One tries to make the excuse
That they are needy
Everyone knows the truth
They're just greedy

Take your fill
Put me on a shelf
Don't be too surprised
When I get something for myself

Nobody
