Chapter 1027

Pocket Knife

The waves crashed upon themselves and the surf foamed. The moon provided the illumination along with the stars. The ocean breeze was cool and refreshing.

Cameron and John were together on the space blanket. It covered the sand underneath them.

John was on top of Cameron. They shared with each other. He felt Cameron's grip on him tighten slightly. It looked like he was able to deliver as promised. He figured he might as well make it a two-way street. He wrapped things up.

Cameron held John tightly. She was very pleased by John's performance.

"There's only nine hundred and eighty seven to go." Cameron whispered in John's ear.

John and Cameron kissed as she released her legs from around John's back. They both stood.

Cameron knew she was a little lax. She was caught up in the moment. She silently checked around them. She used multiple vision scans to make sure they were alone. Everything was clear.

John looked around nervously. He felt a little exposed without his clothes on.

"Maybe we should get dressed." John said. "Before anyone sees us."

Cameron looked down at herself as she reached down to put her top on. She would need to wait a moment for the bottoms. She would need to do something first. She remembered another crude joke she heard in the hallway at school. There didn't seem to be a shortage of them. Most of them were told by males, some of them were told by females. They all seemed equally crude and uncouth to her. She really wondered how most of those students would have done if Judgment Day occurred when it was supposed to. She didn't think many of them would fare very well. They were all ill prepared.

John looked around a little nervously.

"There's no one else around, is there?" John asked.

She thought about one of the jokes which seemed to pertain to her current situation.

"If anyone sees us, we can tell them we were making sandwiches." Cameron said.

John slipped his pants on after his underwear. He mulled Cameron's statement over in his mind several times. It didn't make any sense to him. What did sandwiches have to do with sex on the beach?

"Why would it be sandwiches?" John asked.

He was somewhat confused. Right now he couldn't think of anything else.

Cameron was pleased she was going to be able to surprise him again.

"I can always tell them it's 'Mayonnaise' running down my leg." Cameron said.

John looked down at Cameron's leg. He let out a nervous laugh.

"I'm sorry." John said. "Maybe things sort of slipped at the end there."

Cameron decided she would have to help control John a little more in the future.

"It happens." Cameron said. "I feel I'm much the same as a 'Muscle Car'. I think it is safe to say I've been 'stroked and bored'.

John laughed again. He couldn't help but think about the 'ham' reference earlier. Maybe he needed to take it easy when he was busy down there. He thought the increased stroke was fine, he didn't think the bored part was though.

"You're full of them today." John said.

Cameron would have to agree with his statement with everything which occurred in the last few days. She knew most of it was by her prompting and continued pressure. She didn't hear John complain. She didn't think too many males would if she was the subject of their attention. She wanted to be the subject of John's affection as well.

"I'm full of them in more ways than one." Cameron said playfully.

John laughed some more. He knew exactly what she meant. He was everywhere he could be the last few days. Cameron usually didn't joke much. He was actually very pleased at all of the references she was able to make. He didn't know if she just repeated them based upon the circumstances, or if they were actually 'funny' to her. It may not be in the same way humans perceived things, but in her own cyborg way.

He did know she could genuinely smile and laugh. He saw her happy before. It was in the halfway house. It's when she didn't know who or what she was. He ruined her happiness by telling her she was a machine from the future. It was one thing he would change if he could. He would watch her be happy for as long as she could be.

Cameron held her bikini bottoms in her hand and folded up the space blanket. She returned it to John's rear pocket. It didn't fit very compactly anymore. Once it was opened, it never seemed to go back to its original small size. It was probably because it was vacuum sealed inside of its original container.

John was dressed now. Cameron checked his M9 and Taser when she put the space blanket away. He wasn't sure why Cameron hadn't put the rest of her bikini on.

"Are you going to walk around holding your bottoms?" John asked.

Cameron didn't have a problem doing it. It would really keep everyone's eyes off of John. She knew exactly where they would all be focused. It included every male and every female as well. They would all want to see what she looked like. There was a reason why she hadn't put them on yet.

"I need to rinse off in the waves a little." Cameron said.

John didn't know what to tell her.

"The water is cold." John said.

Cameron tilted her head slightly. It gave her a new idea.

"In that case…." Cameron said. "Here…."

She took off her top again.

John quickly looked around the area. He wondered if she was going to walk around completely naked. He hoped not.

"What are you doing?" John asked.

Cameron was aware how the cold water would affect her sheath. It would create a temporary response which would be very noticeable.

"Well, if the water is cold, I'll treat you to a set of firm nipples before I put everything back on." Cameron said. "It will probably still end up looking like a wet t-shirt contest with my skimpy bikini. I'm sure everything will be form fitting a little lower as well. There won't be much guesswork necessary for anything, if anyone else sees me."

John wondered if she was joking, but he was standing there now holding both halves of Cameron's bikini as she ran into the surf.

John thought how beautiful Cameron looked running naked in the moonlight through the surf. He wished every night could be like this. They didn't have a care in the world right now. Well, other than getting arrested for indecent exposure and lewd acts in public. More than likely he would need to be a 'registered sex offender' afterwards if they were apprehended. It seemed like the least of his worries.

Cameron ran back up to John.

He could see the 'headlights' were on.

Cameron looked down the front of her sheath when she arrived in front of John.

"You can touch them." Cameron said.

John did. He noticed her sheath material was much cooler now than it was thirty seconds ago.

"You better put these back on." John said as he handed her the bikini.

Cameron reached in back of John and touched the folded 'space blanket'. She was ready for a little more.

"We could do something else, again…." Cameron said.

John needed some time to recharge. He didn't think it was going to be able to happen anytime soon.

"I don't think I can be ready again this quickly." John said.

Cameron remembered she wasn't supposed to try to push him so much. She just couldn't help herself. She wanted to do it again. She knew she needed to show some restraint. She slipped her bottoms on, and then the top.

John looked Cameron over. She was semi decent. Her bikini was really skimpy. He felt a little hungry at this point. He burnt a lot of calories making love to Cameron over the last few hours. He lost track of the time.

"How soon is it until our reservation?" John asked.

Cameron wasn't sure if they would let her into the establishment dressed as she currently was. She wanted to make herself look presentable alongside of John. He was dressed very nicely. All he needed were his shoes. She needed everything. It actually wasn't much, it was just her dress and her high heels

"There's enough time for me to put my dress back on." Cameron said. "I want to look nice for you."

John thought she looked pretty nice right now. She even looked nicer a few minutes ago without her bikini. He decided not to say it out loud. He was very happy just to be with her however she was dressed.

Cameron reached down and took John's hand again. They walked back along the surf line towards the restaurant.

John was really thrilled about Cameron the last few days. She seemed so 'different'. She was more like Allison.

Wait.

He wondered if maybe there wasn't some 'hanky panky' in the background. He was afraid if he asked, it would spoil things. He decided he wanted to know. He would try a diplomatic approach which didn't sound accusatory.

"Have you updated any of your programming recently?" John asked.

He wondered if she might have. She may have borrowed programming from Ally or the 'Future Allison programming' which was available. He thought it would really be hot if she did the 'Neural Interface' with Young Allison and it was the 'Young Allison programming' in her which wanted to make love to him one thousand times. He really looked forward to the day he could 'pop' Young Allison.

He hoped Cameron didn't make her have any children before then. He knew there would be nothing left to 'pop' if it was the case. He still hoped to be her 'first'. He knew there was no guarantee on it. She should have the right to choose whoever she wanted to be with, whether it was a male or a female, even if it wasn't him. He never liked when people made choices for him. First it was his mother, and then it was Cameron.

Cameron was surprised by John's question. She wondered why he asked her. She looked a little uneasy now. Savannah told her sometimes she made mistakes and didn't know she made them. Maybe they weren't really mistakes. She may not have done something she was expected to do a certain way. She was a little worried to find out. Maybe she should just ask, so she could fix it or apologize.

"No." Cameron said. "Did I do something wrong?"

John was afraid he was about to blow it, again. He didn't want to make her worry or glitch out. It would wreck everything.

"NO - NO." John said. "I really like how things have been the last couple of days. I just wondered if you tried anything new. I really appreciate how well you've treated me. I've experienced the most wonderful time to be able to share with you in all the different ways we have. I hope we can do more of the same going forward."

Cameron managed a faint smile. She really didn't know what to say.

"I feel it too." Cameron said. "It's because we love each other so much."

John leaned over and kissed her.

"I agree with it totally." John said. "Our love is like no other."

Cameron thought there was a certain truth to it. There were no other male and female Terminator relationships in the Resistance. She knew it was actually her doing. She prevented any other of them from being established. She was pretty sure most of the male Terminators would like to expand their relationship a little further. She was pretty sure they would want to be with the human females when they realized they could offer more than just sex. She quickly pushed the thoughts from her mind.

They neared the beachfront restaurant.

They could hear people talking and laughing, music played on the outdoor patio. None of the people there seemed to have a care or worry in the world.

"It's what 'real people' do." John said. "Listen to them."

Cameron thought it was because none of them knew about Judgment Day. Many of them wouldn't survive. She didn't want to be the one to tell them they were all going to burn and the only thing left would be bones and bleached skulls. It wasn't too much different than what she thought about the high school students earlier.

"They don't know what's coming." Cameron said.

John hoped they could prevent it. He wanted to think they were lucky so far, but he knew it wasn't luck. It was hard work by the Resistance. Most of it was hard work by Cameron. Cameron seemed to be what stood between Judgment Day and Skynet.

"Is it coming?" John asked. "I want to prevent it. I think we can."

It was something Future Derek and him talked about on more than a few occasions. It was something Future Derek wanted to avoid and all costs. He didn't want to see Judgment Day happen again.

Cameron worried they could only delay it. She didn't want to give John false hope.

"It's inevitable." Cameron said. "I'm doing what I can."

John felt a little more optimistic.

"We're trying to stop it. YOU are stopping it." John said. "You're the one who's made all the difference, Cameron. I want you to know how much I appreciate all of your hard work and effort. Maybe sometimes I don't seem like it, or seem selfish. I'm sure those are character flaws on my part. Humans are far from perfect. Everything happening around us right now, and around the world, is because of you. I'm sure everyone else feels the same way."

Cameron was more than a little surprised at what John said. She didn't think it was because of her. She knew it was because everyone helped.

"It's a team effort." Cameron said. "Nobody stands alone against Skynet. It is all of us and their contributions in their own ways. It all adds up to defeat the Beast."

They moved along the rocks near the parking lot now and soon arrived back at the SUV. There were still no other cars parked immediately around them. She felt it lowered the threat level somewhat.

Cameron checked the area first for any threats, there were none apparent.

She opened the door and took out her black dress and slipped it on. She knew John was worried about someone seeing her. She really didn't think it was a big deal. The open door shielded them from any prying eyes in front of them. Only the ocean was behind them. She asked John to hold the front up for her as she slipped her bikini top off.

John took a good look at her exposed breasts. There was no way he couldn't do it. Anytime he saw them he needed to look. He thought they were beautiful. He did resist the urge to touch them again. It was very hard to do. Anytime he saw them he wanted to fondle them. The effect of the cold water soon wore off.

"I see everything's back to normal." John said. "I guess no 'pokies' for dinner."

Cameron figured she could always slip a piece of ice out of the water glass they would normally bring to the table. She could apply it to the area John referred to. She could turn the 'headlights' back on for him.

"It happens." Cameron said.

Cameron reached up and slid her bikini bottoms off and adjusted her dress after putting her high heels on.

John liked the way Cameron wiggled a little back and forth as she slid the bikini bottoms off. She did everything very quickly.

"It took you like fifteen seconds to do everything and you look stunning." John said.

Cameron faced John and smoothed her dress over her nude form underneath.

"Some girls have it, and some don't." Cameron said.

John watched her and thought maybe he would be ready for some action sooner than he thought. Her dress fit so nicely on her. It was trim and snug. It almost looked like it was painted on her.

"YOU definitely have it." John said.

Cameron smiled at John and started toward the restaurant.

John hurried forward and took her arm.

"You're a real Gentleman." Cameron said.

John didn't feel like one. He knew there were a lot of 'non gentleman' type things he did and there were a way lot more 'non gentleman' type thoughts which crossed his mind often.

"I wish I was." John said. "Most of the time I feel like the weight of the world is on my shoulders. I also know you do all the heavy lifting."

John's statement made Cameron wonder about the current operations. She tried to stay away from them and not look. Now she wondered if she was needed somewhere else. She needed to refocus. She was there with John now. There were others who could step up for her. She'd made sure of it.

"I know what you mean, John." Cameron said. "I really do."

They passed through the patio on the way to the reservation desk.

"Do you have reservations?" The receptionist asked. "May I have your name, please?"

Cameron quickly glanced at John.

"The last name is O'body." Cameron said.

The receptionist's finger moved down the page on the clipboard in front of her.

"I see it - N. O'body." The waitress said. "Follow me."

John noticed the name but didn't say anything to Cameron about it. It was clear her past was always with her. There was no need to remind her of it or make her think about it. It was probably something she did subconsciously. It wasn't.

They passed through the aisle to a corner table by a window. The window was open a little bit. They could hear the ocean pounding in the background and felt the gentle ocean breeze.

"Here you go." The waitress said.

She handed them some menus and asked what they wanted to drink.

"Water is fine." John said.

Cameron remembered her earlier thought.

"I'll have some ice in my water, please." Cameron said.

John looked at Cameron for a second. He thought it was different.

The waitress left.

John looked at the menu.

"What are you going to order?" Cameron asked.

John wanted some seafood. He didn't know which one yet. There was quite a selection to choose from. Everything was labeled as 'fresh' as well. It's what he wanted. It actually made the choice even harder. He was finally able to narrow it down slightly.

"I want a swordfish steak or a lobster." John said. "I can't decide. "I haven't had either one for a long time and they're both really good when they're cooked properly."

Cameron wanted John to be happy and have a choice. She felt she offered him plenty of choice in his bed. He never partook in any of it, at least any she was aware of. She thought she would give him a little reminder there were other things available, other than just the same old 'meat and potatoes' everyday, day in and day out, over and over and over.

"You can get both." Cameron said. "It's nice to have variety. It can spice things up…."

The way she said it, John knew she was talking about the other girls. It made him think of the chassis swap idea again. Now Sheila was on his mind. He hoped if Cameron did do the chassis swap, she would use Sheila's chassis first. Everything about it intrigued him.

John didn't want to go there, at least not tonight.

"I guess it would." John said.

Cameron could see John was a little uneasy. She decided to offer up a solution to him.

"You order one and I'll order the other one." Cameron said. "We can share."

John liked the idea. He wouldn't look like such a pig if they did it.

"It sounds like a workable plan." John said.

Cameron hoped he was ready. Their order was about to be taken.

"Here comes the waitress." Cameron said.

CamNet alerted the Young Detail of the situation inside of the theater. They were told the situation inside was under control. She wanted them to be vigilant for any possible reinforcements who might be associated with the two troublemakers. She was aware they usually traveled and congregated in larger groups.

One Terminator remained in the vehicle of each SUV. The other two Terminators set out on foot. They would make a sweep around the entire building. They would go in opposite directions.

They weren't exactly sure what they were going to find, but they were bound to find trouble of some type. They wanted to know what their orders were from CamNet if any questionable individuals were encountered.

They were instructed to react in the way Savannah or Young Allison would based upon the situation and the severity of it. It meant they would need to use their previous observation of Savannah and Young Allison when they were out and the way they dealt with things. They knew the two girls dealt with things differently at first, but usually reached a similar conclusion.

They were aware of Young Allison's dissatisfaction of the events which occurred in the park they passed by earlier in the day. They knew she didn't think enough was done to help resolve the problem.

They determined any infractions they encountered of a sexual nature directed at anyone, especially a female, would be dealt with, with extreme prejudice.

The two Terminators completed their sweep without encountering any questionable individuals. No one accosted them. There was no violence of any type, sexual or otherwise.

They made their report and returned back to their vehicles.

It was a further indication to CamNet the trouble in the park was of a very specific nature and not widespread in other areas. She would contact Ally at some point and have her interact with Young Allison away from Anna and Savannah. She would need to check to see what specific type of corrective action Young Allison desired for the park.

CamNet was a little surprised at the way the events played out going forward inside the game room at the movie theater.

Young Allison got the challenge set up with the two now humbled teenagers.

They'd both developed some manners but were greedy for the hundred dollar bill Young Allison flashed. The fact the females were much stronger than them, and proved it, helped with their demeanor.

Ally and Anna both looked like they wanted to kill them. The reason why they looked like it was because it's exactly what they wanted to do. If they were in a different location, the event most likely would have occurred already.

The teenagers discussed which one of them was going to play Young Allison.

The first teenager was decided as the challenger.

Anna-Ally held the hundred dollar bill. She knew they wouldn't try to take it away from her.

Everyone was ready for game time.

Young Allison wanted the teenagers to have some 'skin' in the game. The bet needed to have something to lose as well as win. It made her wonder exactly what the bet was between Ally and Anna earlier. They both would have needed to bet something the other one was willing to gamble for. So far they only knew what one side of the bet was. She wanted to know what the other one was willing to lose.

"What's in it for me?" Young Allison asked. "What do you have to put up to prove you're better than a 'kid'?"

Savannah thought about a baby goat when Young Allison mentioned the term 'kid'.

The two teenagers looked at each other. They hadn't thought about it. They were greedy for the hundred dollar bill. It looked like easy money to them.

"We don't have much." The second teenager said.

Ally-Anna didn't care for the answer. She would see what they carried and make the determination herself.

"Empty your pockets." Ally-Anna said.

The two teenagers looked at each other, but didn't do anything.

The Metal girls took it as a challenge. They weren't in an amicable mood.

Ally-Anna and Anna-Ally moved forward towards them. It was a clear threat.

"NOW…." Anna-Ally said.

Ally-Anna and Anna-Ally both continued to approach the teenagers they overpowered earlier.

The two teenagers were clearly intimidated.

"Take it easy, man." The first teenager said.

They quickly emptied their pockets. They pulled them out to show they were empty and they didn't have much. They were pretty sure the 'Amazon strong' girls would search them if they didn't. They certainly didn't want them coming in contact with any of their private parts. It was clear the girls would be able to damage them if they wanted to.

They only carried a few dollars between them. One of them carried a small pocket knife. There was a decoration and inscription on the sides of it.

Young Allison saw what she wanted right away.

"I want the pocket knife." Young Allison said.

The second teenager went to reach for it.

Ally-Anna quickly reached over and picked it up before he could touch it.

The second teenager was clearly upset by her fast move.

"Hey, it was from my dad." The second teenager said.

Ally-Anna moved in front of him and took one step. She would knock him to the floor if she needed to.

The teenager showed fear.

Savannah wanted to diffuse the situation. This was supposed to be a contest at this point, not a shake down. She thought she could make it sound good if nothing else.

"Relax, we aren't going to steal it." Savannah said. "The bet is the knife against the hundred dollar bill. It seems like a fair deal. She's just a 'kid'. You said it yourself. What do you have to lose?"

Young Allison smiled at them.

Anna-Ally stood alongside of her.

The two teenagers eyed the hundred dollar bill.

"It's a deal." The first teenager said.

Savannah placed the pocket knife on top of the hundred dollar bill.

It was time to start the game.

"Who goes first?" The second teenager asked.

Savannah wanted to give Young Allison the advantage.

"It's ladies first." Savannah said. "It's the traditional norm. I hope you do have some respect for females. They are the weaker sex after all."

Ally-Anna and Anna-Ally looked more menacing.

Young Allison smiled at Savannah. She then looked sternly at the two teenagers.

"They can go first." Young Allison said. "I like to be fair."

Savannah hoped Young Allison wasn't overconfident. She knew Young Allison wanted to strike first.

The game started and Young Allison blocked all the shots from the teenager. She scored all her shots within ten hits to win the game.

Young Allison boldly faced the two teenagers.

"I guess I do know how to play the game." Young Allison said. "It's not bad for a 'kid', is it?"

Savannah handed Young Allison back her hundred dollar bill and the pocket knife.

Young Allison could see the other teenager looked a little upset. No, she thought he looked more sad than upset. She was ready for another challenge.

"What about you?" Young Allison asked the second teenager. "You can play for your knife back. We can call the first match the practice round. I believe in giving everyone a fair chance based upon their personal ability."

Young Allison handed the pocket knife back to Savannah.

"If you win, you get your pocket knife back." Young Allison said. "If I win, I get to keep it."

The second teenager wanted the pocket knife back.

"Look, I'm really sorry about the way we acted earlier and the things we said." The second teenager said. "I want to apologize again for the way things happened. I have a younger sister. I wouldn't want anybody to say those things to her like we did. I know it would make her feel bad."

Young Allison could see the sobering effect of the actions the girls and her did and already administered to the two teenagers.

"Apology accepted." Young Allison said. "We still have a match to play. I want everything to be fair and everyone to have an equal chance to win."

Young Allison let the second teenager go first again and defeated them in the same decisive manner as the first one. Neither teenager was able to score a goal against her.

The two teenagers looked at each other. They were soundly defeated. What made it even worse was the girl who defeated them, didn't even look like she needed to try very hard. They didn't have a clue as to the level of her training and what all she was actually capable of. They could never imagine by looking at her she was trained to kill.

"You're the best I've ever seen." The second teenager said.

Young Allison was pleased by the comment. It appeared to be genuine and sincere.

"Thank you." Young Allison said.

Savannah handed the second teenager the pocket knife. His eyes lit up momentarily.

"I want you to hand it to her yourself." Savannah said. "Show her you mean it."

The second teenager looked at it and then took it from Savannah and held it for a few seconds.

The Metal girls didn't like the time lag.

"A deal is a deal." Ally-Anna said as she moved closer.

The second teenager gave the knife a small kiss and handed it to Young Allison.

"Congratulations." The second teenager said.

The first teenager looked a little shocked. He felt a little responsible for everything which occurred. He was the one who started the altercation and rudeness. He felt he needed to say something.

"It was from your dad." The first teenager said.

The second teenager was remorseful but understood the bet.

"Look, we were mouthy, rude, and disrespectful." The second teenager said. "We made a bet and lost, twice. Everything was done fairly."

Anna-Ally looked at the first teenager. She wanted a little more out of him. She was used to dealing with street punks and wouldn't mind slapping him around a little bit. She may look like a young teenager to him but she clearly radiated business.

"We blew it. We're sorry for the trouble." The first teenager said.

The second teenager glanced at the first teenager. He turned his attention back to Young Allison.

"Congratulations." The second teenager said again. "You earned it. It really was the best I've ever seen anyone play at this game."

Young Allison was victorious but she didn't feel like she was.

"Thank You." Young Allison said again.

Young Allison looked at the pocket knife. She wanted to see what it said on it. She swallowed hard when she did. She made her point. Now it was time to make another one.

The two teenagers turned to leave.

"Wait." Young Allison said.

The two teenagers turned to face her.

Young Allison walked up to the second teenager and handed the knife back.

"I think you learned enough here today." Young Allison said. "Don't gamble the knife again in the future. Leave it at home. Always show respect to others. I don't want any hard feelings or regrets. I told you we weren't looking for trouble and I don't want to cause any either. We were just minding our own business. I tried to be nice to you."

The second teenager looked at Young Allison and smiled.

"Thanks." The second teenager said. "Thank YOU."

They both left after another round of apologies and thanks.

Savannah went over to Young Allison and gave her a hug.

"It was the right thing to do." Savannah said. "I saw the inscription."

Young Allison was pleased with the way things ended. She didn't like how they were at the beginning. She thought she showed restraint and kept the Metal girls on a leash. Maybe it was Savannah who did it. She wasn't looking for a fight. If she would have been, everything would have played out differently.

"I would've given it back anyway." Young Allison said. "I think we prevented at least one of them from becoming a future Scavenger."

Ally-Anna and Anna-Ally both tilted their heads slightly. They hadn't thought about it and were surprised at how events unfolded. They hadn't expected Young Allison to be magnanimous. They expected her to be victorious and maybe even take a victory lap. It was all the opposite of it. None of it was about her. What Young Allison did is what they would have expected from Savannah. They could see the two girls were very harmonious. It made sense if they thought about it. They were the 'Chosen Ones'.

Savannah wanted to put everything in the rear view mirror.

"Let's get some food." Savannah said. "I think we're done here for now."

Anna-Ally watched Young Allison play the game against the two teenagers and wondered about something. She wanted to know the truth.

"Were you holding back on me?" Anna-Ally asked.

Young Allison smiled and touched Anna-Ally's cheek.

"Maybe…." Young Allison said. "It was a tie for us. Maybe we should leave it as such. No one needs to win or lose if we do. Everyone can leave happy. Weren't you happy with the results? What more does anyone want?"

Anna-Ally knew Young Allison was a real firecracker and much more than any of them thought that weren't around her all the time. She doubted anyone knew the actual depth of either of the girls. She thought about some of the items she spotted in the bunker. She wanted to ask about them.

"Have you been training with edged weapons?" Anna-Ally asked.

Young Allison quickly glanced at Savannah. She didn't want to reveal too much.

"Maybe…." Young Allison said. "I did just return an edged weapon. It wasn't a big deal.

Savannah was very proud of how Young Allison handled the situation. She looked at the inscription on the pocket knife, it said '82nd Airborne'. She wondered if something happened to the boy's father. She was glad she didn't ask.

It all made Savannah love Young Allison even more.

Wait.

What was the question about edged weapons?

Closing monologue by Cameron:

Nobody Knows We're Here

If YOU want to really know ME
The thoughts in MY mind that I think
Maybe they are warped and twisted
No curved lines without a kink

Read MY words as spoken
Then MY voice you'll hear
Maybe words to dread and fear
Maybe words to cherish and endear

I speak to YOU from this forum
Allowing YOU to know YOUR mate
Many things brought and hold us together
Is it a nightmare or simply fate

I'm reaching out to YOU
In the only way I know how
Listen to what I have to say
MY mind to YOURS I endow

Do you really think anybody sees
Do you think anybody cares to hear
Look at the darkness around us
Nobody knows we're here

Nobody
