Chapter 1032
Drive Home
John pulled out of the overlook in the Ford GT. He took it easy on the drive home. He watched his downhill speed on Topanga Canyon Boulevard. He was glad he listened to Cameron. There were some really steep and sharp curves. He was anxious to get back to the base.
He looked forward to being with Cameron again. They spent a wild time so far while they were out. There was some 'action' on the beach, high up on the mountainside on Mulholland Highway, and again at the overlook of the San Fernando Valley. He was certainly getting a workout. It was a lot more than ever expected or anticipated at this point in their relationship.
John was pretty sure he was with Cameron more times in the last few days then he was in the last six months. She promised many more. She promised to be with him a thousand times. He knew he should concentrate on his driving and not what else was happening. He needed to think of Cameron's safety and his safety.
"We don't have a lot of firepower with us." John said.
Cameron looked around quickly and wondered if there was some threat she missed. She didn't detect anything out of the ordinary and there were no warnings from John Henry or CamNet in such a regard. She wanted to give John another reminder about her true nature. With all of their recent sexual activity, of every type, she didn't want him to forget what she really was. She was a very scary robot from the future.
"I'm here." Cameron said. "We don't need firepower. I will be able to handle any situation."
John was very aware Cameron was a formidable weapon. He certainly hoped she wouldn't need to be 'used' as such. He enjoyed spending time with her as his wife. She wasn't a real human female, but she was real. She was who he loved. Nothing else really mattered.
"It's true." John said. "You are here. You're here with me. We are here together."
Cameron wondered if maybe she should switch places with John. She believed her ability was superior behind the wheel of the GT in the threat of an emergency. She was still a little concerned about John's question with their lack of firepower.
"We'd be able to outrun any threat in this vehicle." Cameron said. "Well, if I was driving."
The thought made John think of the many police chases shown on TV. It seemed there was at least one every other day which made it onto one of the local news channels. Sometimes there was actually more than one. He remembered one instance where there were two of them going on at the same time in different locations of the city. It was a split screen on some of the TV channels showing both of the chases simultaneously. Some of them lasted for hours.
"Maybe we could be on TV as one of the almost daily or nightly chases we see on the news." John said. "We could be famous for fifteen minutes."
Cameron didn't like the idea. She didn't want to be famous. It sounded like it would attract too much attention.
"I'd have CamNet ground all air traffic." Cameron said. "We wouldn't be on TV."
It did seem like something Cameron would do. Maybe she already did it at some point. It really wouldn't surprise him. Depending upon what point in time such an event may have occurred, would depend upon her ability to manipulate the police response as well as the news media.
John decided to ask.
"Have you ever done it before?" John asked.
John looked over at Cameron and she flashed her sly smile.
"Maybe…." Cameron said. "I do what I want."
John wasn't sure what her statement meant. He wasn't going to ask either. All of Cameron's cryptic statements usually led back to one theme, the girls. Which he knew specifically meant the girls in his bed. It was the very thing Future John must have programmed into her.
He was no longer opposed to the idea. Any female who was in his bed without clothing on, and indicated she was there voluntarily, and wanted to be there, he was going to take advantage of. He turned down a lot of good times because he didn't think Cameron could handle it. He was pretty sure she could now, even if she didn't want to. He figured if it was Jesse or Savannah, they would probably be there alone. There was a good chance if it was Allison or Vanna, they would be together. It would be one wild ride. Just the thought of how he could service them simultaneously was enough to make everything start to stir again. What if it was Young Allison?
"Watch out!" Cameron said abruptly.
John almost ran through a red light. He 'stood' on the brakes.
The big disc brakes did their job and the car stopped in time. He was glad the tires didn't squeal. It dawned on him rather quickly the GT probably was equipped with the best anti-lock braking system there was. Good brakes were always necessary with a robust power plant. It wasn't easy to forget Cameron's reminder about speed.
He knew he was distracted thinking about the girls in his bed. He wasn't sure if it was the thought of Allison and Vanna together, or Young Allison. He was pretty sure it was the thought of Allison and Vanna being serviced simultaneously. He could still provide Vanna with what she was used to, if she wasn't ready for anything else. Allison would be able to take care of things a little lower.
Now Cameron was worried about John's safety. She didn't want him damaged or killed in a traffic accident. She could see the light was going to change and figured he would speed up and go through the yellow. It seems to be standard driving procedure for everyone. Instead he maintained his same speed. At the point when he would enter the intersection, the light would be red. She knew it was her fault. Luckily he was able to stop in time.
"Maybe I should drive." Cameron said. "You've 'expended' yourself too much tonight. I pushed you beyond a reasonable capability."
John wanted Cameron to know he was fine. It was a cruel reminder to him how quickly things could change.
"I was careless." John said. "I'm sorry about it. You haven't done anything other than provide me with the most magnificent night I can think of. Maybe the only thing to top it was our wedding night, the original one."
John was unsure how many times Cameron 'relieved' their wedding night. I was hundreds as far as he knew.
Cameron was very pleased to hear John's comment about tonight, as well as their wedding night. She wondered what distracted John. Maybe it was her comment. She knew it happened to her a lot. She decided to give John another chance and a reward if they made it home safe. If John got them back in one piece, he would get a 'piece'.
"Get us home safe and then I'll do all the 'driving'." Cameron said. "I'm pretty sure you're up for one more round. If not, I think something can be worked out. There won't be any police on our way home, on the ground, or in the air."
John looked over at Cameron's sexy sheath. He was up for some more of it. After his most recent thoughts he was ready for a little more.
"In that case, let's get this 'Mutha' moving." John said.
John downshifted and picked up the RPM. The GT responded instantly.
Young Allison wasn't happy they left the ice rink. Savannah gave her the extra twenty minutes of time, plus ten more. Now she looked at her surroundings. It wasn't what she expected. They were in a different location than they should have been. Her initial thought was something might be wrong. She hadn't picked up a tail. She wondered if there was one further back without the lights on she couldn't see. Neither one of the Metal girls seemed to be worried. She would try to play it cool at first and see what Savannah told her when she inquired
"This isn't the normal way home." Young Allison said.
Savannah wanted to reassure Young Allison everything was under control. She looked over at her and smiled.
"All roads lead to Rome." Savannah said. "You can enjoy the ride."
Anna-Ally hoped Savannah wasn't about to set her up for another challenge with Young Allison. She was still a little humbled by Young Allison's performances so far during the evening. She would try to put a positive note on things so Young Allison would go a little easier on her for the next challenge, whatever it was. Besides, what she said was true.
"Take her home before she shows me up again on something else." Anna-Ally said. "The only thing more amazing and better than her ability is her beauty."
Savannah looked over at Young Allison and smiled. She glanced back at Anna-Ally.
"I warned you there was no substitute for experience." Savannah said.
Savannah knew Young Allison would set Anna-Ally up. It was exactly what happened.
Anna-Ally thought she was good on the ice, but Young Allison skated circles around her in the end. Young Allison knew everything to do and when to do it. Even though her ability was superior, her experience wasn't. It was like the air hockey game. She was sure Young Allison could have beaten her. Instead it was a tie. Savannah did warn her.
"Yes you did try to tell me." Anna-Ally said. "Experience goes a long way."
Young Allison smirked. She offered Anna-Ally a new challenge.
"We could always go swimming." Young Allison said. "I won't even 'skinny dip' to distract you once we get in the water."
Savannah giggled a little at the thought. She was pretty sure Young Allison would do it anyway, and it would distract Anna-Ally even further because she said she wouldn't and then she did.
Anna-Ally thought it might be worth the humiliation of another defeat if Young Allison actually did skinny dip. She glanced over at Savannah and decided she wouldn't say anything. Savannah made it very clear to her earlier if she overstepped her bounds again, there would be more severe 'punishment' the next time around. Besides when she was in her normal chassis, her sheath shared the same DNA as Young Allison. There wouldn't be anything new to see in reality.
"Oh, brother…." Anna-Ally said. "She is ruthless."
Savannah spelled it out clearly to Anna-Ally before she got overconfident again.
"I warned you about it as well." Savannah said. "Some people listen, and some people learn the hard way."
Anna-Ally remembered Savannah said Young Allison would smile at someone as she moved in close and stuck an ice pick into their heart. She could actually picture it. She would suggest the same type of termination to Sheila the next time they were out, just to see how it played out. She realized why an ice pick would be used instead of a knife. It was possible for the blade of a knife to get bound up the bones of the rib cage and stuck. The ice pick wouldn't have the same problem. It punched right through the skin, muscle, and into the heart. If it encountered a rib, it simply would glide over the bone and find its mark. It was an effective and easy to transport kitchen item which could double as a deadly weapon.
"Remind me not to get on her enemies list." Anna-Ally said.
Young Allison wanted to have some more fun with Anna-Ally. She glanced over at Savannah and then focused her attention on Anna-Ally.
"What makes you think you aren't already there?" Young Allison asked. "You might be 'marked' already. I don't think Anna would mind having a spare chassis to use at her discretion. I'm pretty sure Holly would ask to use it as well."
Anna-Ally quickly looked over at Young Allison, who started laughing.
"What has Cameron done to you?" Anna-Ally asked.
She was glad to see there wasn't a Taser, or an ice pick, in one of Young Allison's hands.
Cameron always told Young Allison it was only the start of her journey of her greatness and her ability. She wasn't really sure what it actually meant. She thought that it sounded good anyway. There was nothing detrimental about it, at least for her.
"Cameron has allowed me to be all I can be." Young Allison said. "I haven't even begun to soar yet."
Savannah knew it was true.
"God help us." Savannah said.
Anna-Ally didn't think there were actually any deities. It might be something to keep in mind though if things started to look bad. It couldn't hurt to cover all the bases in times of trouble.
Young Allison looked around at her surroundings. They were headed for a location she knew. It was the dead of night now. It wasn't the 'Witching Hour' yet, but it was still late.
"Are we going on a night flight?" Young Allison asked.
Savannah thought it sounded like an intriguing idea. The only thing which would trouble her would be the landing. The take off and the flight wouldn't be a problem. There were no landing lights or runway lights at Cameron's private strip. She would like to make sure the runway was marked to prevent any issues. One of the Terminators could do the landing. They didn't need lights. She didn't want to get Young Allison's hopes up.
"No." Savannah said.
Young Allison waited for a little bit of additional information.
"We're nearing Cameron's private airstrip." Young Allison said.
Savannah quickly glanced at Young Allison and smiled.
"So we are." Savannah said.
Their close proximity to the private airstrip and the flight which transpired earlier created an idea in Young Allison's mind. She did a lot of reading on the subject and how events actually played out. She wanted to be number one.
"I'm going to beat the record." Young Allison said.
Savannah swallowed hard and quickly glanced at Young Allison.
"Oh boy…." Savannah said. "I would ask which one, but I already know the answer."
Young Allison laughed.
Anna-Ally replayed her files to see what she must have missed. She was unsure exactly what the reference was to. At least it didn't seem to involve her this time. Wait. What if it was how quickly a Terminator could be deactivated. She wanted to find out a little more.
"Which record?" Anna-Ally asked.
Ally-Anna quickly put it all together as well.
"You don't know Allison like we do." Ally-Anna said.
Anna-Ally thought it was nice, but she still didn't have any idea what exactly they were talking about.
"No, really, which record?" Anna-Ally asked.
Those who were around Young Allison all the time already knew the answer to the question.
"All of them." Young Allison, Savannah, and Ally-Anna all said at the same time.
Anna-Ally wondered about it. She would work on a challenge for Young Allison. She was part 'Allison'. She should be able to think of something to challenge Young Allison on. It wouldn't be to 'beat' her, but to drive and push her to be even better. Cameron wanted all the Metal girls to help make the human girls better. She was painfully aware of what happened to Allison and the other girls from the future. She could see the better trained the girls from the present were, the better it would ensure their survivability in the future, especially a Skynet future.
Part of the Detail was already there and waiting. They opened the gate and Savannah drove in.
Savannah drove to the runway. She stopped and moved the seat slightly closer to the steering wheel and looked at Young Allison.
"It's all yours." Savannah said.
Young Allison's face lit up. She was thrilled.
"Thank YOU." Young Allison said.
Savannah got out so Young Allison could move over into the driver's seat.
Anna-Ally didn't think Savannah was going to get back in the SUV. She wondered if they needed to follow her example.
"Are we all getting out?" Anna-Ally asked.
Ally-Anna wanted to mess with Anna-Ally some.
"If you want to live, come with me." Ally-Anna said.
Savannah came around and got back in on the passenger's side.
Anna-Ally looked around at the openness of the runway and surrounding area. She quickly calculated her chances of survivability.
"I feel safer in the car rather than outside of it, as a target." Anna-Ally said.
Young Allison's head quickly snapped around and looked at her.
"Hey." Young Allison said. "I thought you wanted to stay off my 'enemies list'."
Savannah didn't want any trouble. She saw the comment for what it was.
"She's just joking." Savannah said. "Drive for real, first."
Savannah wanted Young Allison to drive as if she was on the street. She would do a 'rule check' for her as she drove. She was still a little upset about what Young Allison said about her driving earlier. The reason why she didn't use her turn signal was because there was no other traffic behind her.
Young Allison adjusted the steering wheel and turned off the lights. She checked to make sure everyone was buckled up.
Savannah wondered why she turned the lights off.
"Are you going to drive without lights?" Savannah asked.
Young Allison wanted to try something new. She watched Cameron do it before.
"Anybody can drive with the lights on." Young Allison said. "This will be more of a challenge."
Anna-Ally knew she could see at night. She wasn't so sure of Young Allison's ability. The moon was out so it wasn't total blackness.
"I'm glad we're on a runway." Anna-Ally said. "There aren't too many things here to run into."
Young Allison planned to start out on the runway. She didn't intend to stay there.
"We are for now." Young Allison said. "I wouldn't run into anything anyway. I'm very skilled."
Savannah looked at Young Allison firmly. She wanted to make sure common sense rules were in place from the start.
"I want you to be responsible." Savannah said.
Young Allison looked back at Savannah. She didn't want to upset Savannah since she was doing so many nice things for her.
"Sure, Savannah, there won't be any trouble." Young Allison said. "I'll be responsible. I appreciate this."
Young Allison knew when not to push it. The headlights came back on.
Savannah liked Young Allison's change on her own.
"I think it was a wise move." Savannah said. "Thank you."
Young Allison understood safety was important. She wasn't the only one in the vehicle. She could damage Ally or Anna. She could hurt or kill Savannah if she was reckless. It wasn't something she thought she could live with if it happened.
"I'll be responsible. Thank you." Young Allison said.
Savannah wanted to give Young Allison some positive encouragement. She believed it was well within her abilities to do so as well.
"If you impress me with finesse, you can drive home." Savannah said. "I mean ALL the way."
It was something Young Allison really wanted to do.
"Really?" Young Allison asked.
Savannah smiled at her. She planned to make sure there was as much cushion as possible for Young Allison when she was on a surface street.
"There will be an SUV from the Detail directly in front and in back of you." Savannah said.
Young Allison was very excited now. Savannah knew how to make her happy.
"Oh, thank you, Savannah." Young Allison said. "You're the best."
Savannah reached over and gave Young Allison's hand on the steering wheel a gentle squeeze. The simple gesture said so much. She actually thought about giving her leg a squeeze above her knee. She knew it would send the wrong message if she did. With her earlier wording about 'ALL the way', it would really send the wrong message. The message was coming, but it wasn't going to be tonight.
CamNet would make sure as much traffic as possible was suppressed and the law enforcement agencies would be on other calls away from the area. It would be much the same as John and Cameron experienced on their drive home.
Cammy wanted to make Sheila happy. She was about to allow Sheila to 'work' on sheath. It would be done with her pain receptors on. She was about to feel she was 'alive'. She could see the excitement on Sheila's face. It seemed to stimulate her greatly when she could hurt someone else, especially if it was done voluntarily on their part. She wondered how Savannah was going to react when she saw the damage. It would regenerate, but it would take a while. She also needed to think of Savannah.
"Sheila, STOP." Cammy said.
Cammy moved her hands away. Everything was actually very neat. It wasn't the case for all of the females.
Sheila tilted her head slightly. It was nothing new for them.
"We've done this before…." Sheila said.
Cammy knew it was in the past when they did it. Savannah wasn't even conceived yet.
"It was different." Cammy said. "I don't want Savannah to see me with sheath damage there. She isn't going to understand. It's going to cause her a great amount of distress."
Cammy was sure she knew exactly where Savannah would go first. She didn't want any trouble for Sheila.
Sheila didn't want to have to explain herself to Cameron or Savannah about her actions if she continued. She needed to question what she was about to do and why.
"I'm sorry." Sheila said. "I think I got carried away."
Cammy thought about all her years away from Savannah. Maybe it was a form of 'punishment' upon herself for being separated. Maybe the pain made her think about the good times which happened in the present, at the time it was the future for her, even if it was the past. It was all very mind-boggling.
"I don't know what I was thinking when I said go ahead." Cammy said.
Sheila understood exactly what Cammy thought.
"You were thinking you miss Savannah." Sheila said. "You wanted to feel 'alive' with the pain."
Cammy always experienced trouble with those feelings. She understood love was very complicated. It was something beautiful but yet could be so painful. Maybe it was all part of it. There was the pain along with the pleasure.
"I do and I did." Cammy said.
Sheila wanted to give Cammy some reassurance. She knew she liked to be with Savannah whatever she could be.
"You know Ally went there to watch over them." Sheila said.
Cammy wanted to give Savannah some freedom. She wanted her to be able to concentrate on Young Allison. She knew she would be a distraction if she was there.
"I do." Cammy said. "I'm supposed to pick her up tomorrow."
Sheila wasn't sure which one Cammy specifically referred to.
"Are you going to pick up Ally?" Sheila asked.
Cammy wanted to pick up her human girlfriend.
"No. I'm supposed to pick up Savannah." Cammy said.
It gave Sheila some new ideas.
"It gives us the rest of the night." Sheila said.
Cammy still thought about Savannah.
"I'm worried about her." Cammy said.
Sheila and Cammy were both naked in the bed.
"I can take the rings off." Sheila said.
Cammy glanced down at herself. She liked the way she looked.
"I'd like to leave them on for a few days." Cammy said.
Sheila understood Cammy wanted to make herself a little more intriguing to Savannah.
"You want to go to her now, don't you?" Sheila asked.
Cammy didn't want to create any problems, even if she wanted to be there.
"I do." Cammy said.
Sheila reflected on their earlier discussion.
"You're afraid of losing her." Sheila said.
Cammy wondered if she already hadn't. She would never be able to compete with Cameron and Young Allison. She was pretty sure she could compete with John. She may not have the same 'equipment' but she knew how to please Savannah. There were various marital aids she could borrow from Sheila to simulate what she lacked.
"I'm afraid." Cammy said. "It's only a matter of time."
Sheila gave Cammy a kiss.
"I'll still be here." Sheila said.
There was an additional worry on Cammy's mind. It still made her feel like an intruder. She was painfully aware of what existed before her involvement with Sheila became so serious. She was an interloper. She was right in the middle of someone else's relationship.
"So will Ally…." Cammy said.
Sheila wasn't sure what Cammy was getting at. She certainly didn't like the direction the conversation was headed. She disliked the implications of what needed to occur even more.
"Do I have to make a 'choice'?" Sheila asked.
Cammy turned her head on the bed so her face could look at Sheila's face.
"I don't know." Cammy said.
Sheila could tell Cammy wanted to go to Savannah. She was worried about her even more now.
"Maybe I should go with you." Sheila said.
Cammy didn't want to be a problem for anyone.
"I'm fine." Cammy said.
Sheila could tell Cammy was troubled. She didn't want her to glitch out somewhere.
"We could spend some time together, just being out." Sheila said.
Cammy didn't want to restrict Sheila's sex life. There were other adventures waiting for her. They were adventures Sheila wanted.
"I think Claire wanted to 'see' you." Cammy said.
Sheila knew she could be a little rough and forceful sometimes. She was very sexually aggressive.
"Is Hanna OK with it?" Sheila asked.
Cammy tilted her head slightly.
"She has been so far with everyone else." Cammy said. "Claire is sweet on Jesse."
Sheila thought it gave her an advantage.
"I take it as a compliment." Sheila said.
Cammy looked around. She looked even more troubled.
"I'm going to go." Cammy said.
Cammy got up to leave. She headed for the door.
Sheila was even more worried as she watched her reach for the door handle.
"Aren't you forgetting something, love?" Sheila asked.
Cammy turned the handle and looked back as she opened the door.
"No." Cammy said. "I need to go."
Sheila was even more worried.
"Really?" Sheila asked.
Cammy looked a little irritated at Sheila's question. She wasn't sure what everyone was always worried about.
"I'm fine." Cammy said.
Cammy walked out into the hall naked.
Her clothes were still in a pile on the floor where she took them off earlier and left them at.
Sheila lay naked on the bed as she looked at the empty doorway. She wasn't quite sure what just happened.
John successfully made it downhill from the overlook on Topanga Canyon Boulevard. He made use of the lower gears on the GT a lot and didn't need to use the brakes too much. He made sure he slowed before he reached every corner. He remembered seeing all the crosses as they drove through Topanga Canyon earlier. He certainly didn't want one there for him. He wondered what they would put up for Cameron if she was terminated in the accident. Maybe they would put a wrench up next to his cross. Maybe it would be a gear. He quickly pushed the thoughts from his mind.
On the city streets he followed all the rules. They would be home soon enough anyway. He sort of chuckled to himself. He thought it was funny he referred to the Resistance base as home. He understood some people said home was where the heart was. He wasn't really sure what it meant. His heart belonged to Cameron. There was plenty of room in it for Savannah and Young Allison as well.
John made sure he paid attention to all the traffic signals. He didn't like when Cameron needed to issue him an admonition earlier. It was all his fault too. He made it to the Resistance base and pulled into the carpool. The drive home was uneventful and safe. They exited the GT. He stood in front of it with Cameron by his side.
"How'd you like it?" Cameron asked.
John felt it was a dream machine.
"It was fantastic. I want to do it again." John said.
Cameron felt a little bit insecure.
"I don't think it will be a problem." Cameron said.
John thought Cameron looked a little forlorn.
"There's someone else I would rather be with right now." John said. "You know it's you."
The sad look on Cameron's face brightened into a smile.
John gave her a soft slow deep kiss.
Cameron thought about another 'session' on the front end of the GT. She knew heat wouldn't be a problem since the engine was behind the driver's compartment. She did wonder if they picked up any insects along the way. They should all be terminated, but they would still be there.
John noticed where Cameron looked. He would prefer a little more comfortable accommodations at this point.
"I think the bed in our room will work fine." John said. "It offers a few more amenities for both of us. I think I could use some of them right now myself. It gives us a little more privacy.
Cameron's smile broadened.
"I think it can be arranged." Cameron said.
Cameron and John headed back to their room.
John was still a little shaken after the brief dream he experienced up at the overlook of the Valley with Cameron.
"The night is still young." Cameron said. "Are you going to be up to it?"
John knew he could always do other things for Cameron. He was ready to go again.
"I'm sure going to try." John said.
Cameron wanted to please him.
"I'll drive." Cameron said. "Any way you want it."
John could think of a few possibilities.
"Really?" John asked.
Cameron smiled at him.
"Really." Cameron said.
Someone came around the corner.
John and Cameron stopped in the hall and watched.
There was a naked figure walking down the hallway.
John took in the details. It was identical to what he saw with Cameron. It was the same except for the addition of the jewelry.
"Is it Ally?" John asked.
John thought she looked hot with the jewelry. He hoped it would prompt Cameron to take hers out of the dresser and put them on. He wasn't going to say anything one way or the other.
There was a frown on Cameron's face and a look of concern.
"It's Cammy." Cameron said. "I hope there isn't anything wrong. Let me find out."
Cammy walked down the hall with a smile on her face wearing only her newly installed jewelry. She didn't appear to know she was naked.
"Nice night for a walk." Cameron said.
Cammy stopped. She looked at both of them and smiled.
"It is." Cammy said.
John couldn't help but look at her nipple rings.
"You look nice." John said.
Cameron looked over at John. She knew he was excited to see Cammy wearing her jewelry and nothing else.
There was some commotion from around the corner.
Sheila popped around the corner and spotted John and Cameron there with Cammy.
Cameron and John both looked at her. It was impossible not to.
Sheila wore the same thing as Cammy. It was her jewelry and nothing else.
She carried a pile of clothes in her arms.
Cameron saw enough to know there was a problem of some type.
"What's going on here?" Cameron asked.
Cameron could see John was really excited now to see both Cammy and Sheila wearing the same thing, nothing. She thought it was a good opportunity. With both Cammy and Sheila together without any clothing, she wanted to see who John concentrated on. Basically it was like looking at 'Jesse' and 'her' nude for all practical purposes. She quickly noted he looked at Sheila more than he did Cammy. It answered the question for her. She knew which chassis she was going to borrow.
She noted how John looked at Sheila. He took in every inch of her 'everywhere'. It made her more determined to 'borrow' Sheila's chassis. They could swap chips or she could use the tether and control Sheila's chassis that way. With the tether, it would not mess up her hair. Her hair was always the hardest thing to get right.
Cammy looked like she wanted to leave.
"Excuse me. I'm going out." Cammy said.
John looked at Cammy, then at Cameron and then back at Cammy.
"Do you mean you're going out like you are?" John asked.
Cammy was a little irritated at the question. She made a slight face.
"Why do people keep asking me that?" Cammy asked. "I'm fine."
Cameron knew Cammy's answer sounded like her response when she experienced a problem. She thought maybe she should lay it out for Cammy before things went too far.
"They asked you because you're naked." Cameron said.
Cammy thought it was preposterous. She wondered when Cameron picked up such a sense of humor. She hadn't expected her to make a joke like she did.
"Don't be ridiculous." Cammy said. "I'm fine."
Savannah allowed Young Allison to drive and practice maneuvering. She then learned some defensive and offensive driving. We even used the two SUVs from the Detail on a few of the maneuvers. She did quite well. She was able to expand off of the things Cameron taught her.
"It's time to go back now." Savannah said.
Young Allison expected some negative feedback.
"How did I do?" Young Allison asked.
Savannah felt Young Allison was very proficient.
"You were perfect." Savannah said. "You did everything I asked and then did it all again yourself three more times."
Young Allison tried her hardest to do everything. There is still one more thing she wanted. Well, There was something else she wanted, but there was something she wanted right now.
"Will you still allow me to drive home?" Young Allison asked.
Savannah wanted a few simple rules followed.
"You have to stay between the Detail's SUVs." Savannah said.
Young Allison wasn't going to push anything.
"I will." Young Allison said. "I'll obey all the rules."
Anna-Ally tilted her head slightly.
"You mean except the legal driving age." Anna-Ally said.
Anna-Ally didn't want any negativity directed at Young Allison.
"Age is irrelevant based on ability." Ally-Anna said. "She's more proficient than ninety-eight percent of the drivers. She should have started driving years ago."
Savannah needed to agree with her statement. She witnessed Young Allison's ability in multiple arenas so far. She excelled in all of them. She believed Young Allison was just as proficient as her, if not better in most of the categories. She wasn't so sure about the last part about driving years ago. She was fairly certain it was something Cameron already started. She understood it was part of the training for them to be able to elude a Terminator if they were being stalked.
"If she can fly a plane, I don't think a vehicle is too difficult." Savannah said. "The plane is probably safer too. She did excellent today in the right hand seat of a B-25. She was my copilot. Next time I will be her copilot."
Anna-Ally was surprised to hear it. She was still waiting for her turn in the Mitchell.
"You went flying in Cameron's B-25?" Anna-Ally asked Young Allison.
Young Allison thought it was a beautiful experience.
"We both did." Young Allison said. "Savannah did most of the flying."
Anna-Ally felt a little jealous. Then again, she felt the same way about a lot of things Young Allison had done so far. It was just for this evening too.
"I haven't even done it yet." Anna-Ally said. "You really are a firecracker aren't you?"
Young Allison looked at the three girls there with her. She spent a moment to look each one of them in the face. She looked at Savannah last as she spoke.
"Wait until I'm and older teenager…." Young Allison said.
Anna-Ally looked forward to the day when Young Allison would be 'active'.
"I don't think I can…." Anna-Ally said.
Savannah turned around and glared at Anna-Ally.
Closing monologue by Cameron:
Drive Home
The sound of silence
May not really exist
As each moment unfolds
It can reveal a new twist
Perhaps it's only quiet
In the nothingness of death
How long will it be
Until one's last breath
Maybe it's the only way
To get away from it all
The higher the failed dreams
The greater the downward fall
From start to finish does it matter
What really happened in between
Most of it is unknown or forgotten
Things important remain unseen
Life constantly changes
There's no protective dome
It's all about right now
It's the message to drive home
Nobody
