Chapter 1100
Under Her Spell
Savannah and Young Allison finished dressing. They brushed each other's hair and put a little makeup on. It wasn't something they would normally do on their own. It usually required a special occasion. They figured a little bit wouldn't hurt since they were together.
The girls enjoyed being in each other's company, they both felt very comfortable together.
Savannah didn't think Young Allison needed any makeup but she knew Cameron, or the other Metal girls, were behind it. It gave Young Allison and her a closeness doing all these things together. It wasn't often they actually were able to do 'girl' things together with the busy lifestyle Cameron kept them on.
It gave them a little reminder as to who they were, and what life offered others little more easily than it did them. There were certain responsibilities they needed to live up to. It was nothing they could turn their backs on.
Savannah pointed at the door and held her index finger up to her lips.
Young Allison understood what she indicated. She smiled and shook her head up and down slightly.
They wondered if they could catch the Metal girls listening outside their door or not.
Young Allison silently made her way towards the door.
Savannah remained where she was at by the dresser. She wanted to play a little ruse to make it sound like both of them were still at the dresser.
"I don't think you need to have any lipstick." Savannah said. "Look in the mirror and see how it looks."
Young Allison popped out of the door into the hall. It was empty. She looked back at Savannah and shrugged her shoulders.
They headed into the kitchen.
Young Allison wanted to make some breakfast for Savannah.
Savannah wanted to assist her. She felt bad Young Allison wanted to cook for her. She felt it was her responsibility to look after Young Allison. She quickly remembered they needed to look out for each other. She also needed to remember she was a guest at the Young residence. She still wanted to make her position known without making an issue about it.
"You don't have to do this for me." Savannah said.
Young Allison smiled at her.
"I want to." Young Allison said.
Both of the girls could feel the love and caring in the air. It was the promise of the future and all it held. They didn't view it as 'a future' but as 'the future' for them. They both believed whatever the future was, they would be together in it.
It was something Savannah didn't want to address. Not yet anyway. It was there along with everything which went along with it. It was the future and it was knocking. She needed to refocus. She hadn't seen Cammy or Anna yet. It seemed a little unusual. They were probably both spying on them in some other way. She could understand their concern as well as their curiosity. She looked at Young Allison and spoke loudly.
"I wonder where the Metal girls are at." Savannah said. "I'm surprised we haven't seen more of them."
Young Allison was well acquainted with the drill. She learned from past experience when there were no Metal girls visible, they were most likely spying on someone. In this case it was them. She knew both of them were outside her bedroom door earlier listening. She wanted to rattle them a little bit and make them think about it.
"They're probably about to move away from wherever they're listening to us at." Young Allison said. "I'm sure it will be a little faster now since I've said it."
Savannah knew it was true. She knew they didn't catch them in the hallway. She could picture them rapidly move away from wherever they were, and quickly pretend they were doing something else all along. She was guilty of it a few times herself.
"They wouldn't eavesdrop on us now, would they?" Savannah asked with a smile on her face.
Young Allison winked at her.
Both girls knew they all spied on everyone.
"No." Young Allison said. "Their integrity and respect for us is greater than the need for them to eavesdrop. They both know nothing's going to happen, but they still hope it will, even if they don't want it to."
They didn't know it was all part of the 'conditioning' all of the females went through with their Cyborg lovers. Cameron wanted everyone to be happy. She wanted to make sure all of the girls would want to share with each other. She didn't want any of them to feel lonely or left out. There would always be someone to love them. She didn't want any of the girls to feel like she did. It applied to the Metal girls as well.
Savannah didn't do it so much any more. She would stop to listen every now and then or maybe take a peek if a door wasn't shut tight. It was usually a silent invitation to enter and join. Sometimes she did, other times she didn't want to interrupt. It depended upon what was going on in the room. It could also depend upon how close someone was to a finish. If she entered too soon she could spoil someone's finish. She was always welcome in any of the girl's rooms, cyborg or human.
Young Allison actively spied on everyone. She was pretty sure she saw everything two females could do with each other with her own eyes. She experimented on herself with what she could do on her own. She tried to bend her body as much as she could, but she couldn't quite get to where she wanted her head to go. She was very close. All she needed was a little bit more flexibility. It was something she attempted to do after she viewed a few females on the internet who were able to do what she wanted to do. She was really ready for the next step, the real thing. She could stop trying to do it herself then.
She looked at Savannah with loving eyes. She sent her a message without any words. Words were unnecessary.
Savannah knew how Young Allison felt and why. It was Cameron pushing them mentally way beyond their physical years. It also forced an advanced emotional development to go with the advanced education and training.
She didn't think there was a whole lot wrong with it. It just was part of their lifestyle. They were all rather isolated from other humans. She knew it was for their own safety. It was also for the safety of the other humans. Anyone around them was at risk. She already was targeted once for termination. Most likely the termination order still stood. The Terminator who was sent after her was terminated by Mrs. Weaver. There was no record or report he completed his mission. They spun her 'disappearance' as her being in the building with her mother, Mrs. Weaver, when the 'small aircraft' crashed into it. They were both reported as 'missing' and 'assumed deceased' in the crash and resulting fire. It was never told as it really was how it was an HK drone from Skynet. Mr. Ellison made sure it was covered up.
They never knew exactly why she was targeted for termination, other than the fact she was with John Henry when he was infiltrated. They didn't think it involved anything from any of the futures where there was a version of 'Savannah Weaver' in. It was a localized event which hopefully was resolved as a localized event when John Henry's 'brother' attempted to take out Mrs. Weaver. The 'aircraft incident' should have been interpreted as a success by whatever version of Skynet sent it.
It was one of the reasons why she didn't mind being next to Cameron when she destroyed any version of Skynet. It was personal to her. She wanted to make sure Skynet received what it tried to deliver in her case.
Savannah and Young Allison were in the kitchen. They suspected the Metal girls would spy on them. They were correct.
Cammy and Anna were just inside the bunker entrance. They did listen to everything. They both knew whatever happened with the girls would determine their fate. It would directly affect their future. They moved away out of the hallway earlier because they figured Young Allison would try to 'pinch' them. They were unable to determine if she attempted to or not. The girls were now in the kitchen.
Anna figured once Savannah and Young Allison started in a relationship, at some point Young Allison would share with her. At least it's what she thought. It was about the best she could hope for. She really loved Young Allison and would be content with whatever love they could share. She needed to show restraint and control now in regards to Young Allison. Cameron forbid her from any sexual activity whatsoever with anyone.
Maybe Cammy and her would end up together. They would be around each other all the time when it happened. The girls would need to sleep when they weren't sharing. Cammy and her didn't sleep and they would have a lot of free time. They both ran Cameron's program as their base program. She shared the 'Neural Interface' with Savannah so it would make her desire Cammy for multiple reasons.
They all wanted to be reassigned to Summer if they were rejected by Savannah or Young Allison. It was an assignment all the Metal girls hoped they could snag.
With the statement from the girls, it was time to get back to work. Nothing happened yet anyway. They could see Savannah was very disciplined and caring. She wasn't about to abuse Young Allison in any way and she made sure no one else would either. Savannah would protect Young Allison, not compromise her.
The Metal girls looked at each other and quickly moved deeper into the bunker after the statement. They didn't want to get caught spying after they heard it. They sat at the computer interface with CamNet and started to check things out. They knew the girls would want a report soon. They might as well have it ready.
"They know." Anna whispered.
Cammy thought they all knew everything anyway.
"They know everything, just like we do." Cammy said. "Savannah will even know, I know, when she 'pleasures' herself."
Anna wondered why.
"Maybe she only still does it so you will come to her." Anna said.
Cammy saw it a little differently. She didn't know the details for sure but she could speculate.
"Do you go to Young Allison when she 'pleasures' herself?" Cammy asked.
Anna quickly looked around. It was something which seemed to be more and more frequent. She never told anyone or ever put it in her reports. She felt it was a very personal choice for Young Allison. Nobody needed to know. She didn't like the fact Cammy even 'said' it. She knew it was pure speculation on Cammy's part.
"I never told you she does." Anna said.
Cammy smiled. There were no secrets among the girls. There were too many eyes and ears everywhere. It wasn't just John Henry or CamNet.
"It's in the reports." Cammy said. "Don't forget Holly and Hanna were here twenty-four hours a day for years. They saw everything and heard everything. Their reports contained events which didn't show up in your report. Things which didn't make it into their reports showed up in yours. There are no secrets."
Anna never put it in her reports. She wanted it stricken from the record. She actually considered mentioning it to Young Allison and have her ask CamNet to remove any such references on her part. They weren't Resistance files, but Cameron's personal files. There were a lot of things Cameron did or initiated which weren't part of any Resistance operation. CamNet was the keeper of all those files.
"I want it removed from any records." Anna said. "It's private to her. She saw everything which went on around here. It happened all the time. It was natural for her to be curious and 'experiment'. I don't want her tainted."
Cammy didn't think it was a big deal. She felt she needed to set Anna straight.
"Relax, all of the humans do it." Cammy said. "All of the Metal girls have too before. I do it sometimes. I know Cameron does. Can you say you haven't?"
Anna looked very disturbed.
"I'm to remain pure for Young Allison." Anna said. "It's my personal directive."
It didn't really answer Cammy's question, even if it did, sort of.
"We'll see." Cammy said. "We all 'grow up' a lot quicker than we think…."
Cammy was aware she did. Savannah encouraged her to be with others. She was a little reluctant at first. Vanna was her second. She was just like Savannah, but totally different. When it came to love making, some things were very different. It actually surprised her. It opened her eyes. From there it expanded to everyone. She knew a few of the other Metal girls were slow starters as well. Since they didn't sleep, they quickly made up for any lost time.
She looked at Anna again and smiled. One day Anna would do the same.
Cammy looked forward to the day she could share with Anna herself. She hoped it was with Anna's current appearance as well. She looked quite intriguing. She didn't know Savannah when she looked like her. She wasn't created yet. Maybe her appearance was part of the draw. If it was, it worked. When it came to Savannah, she knew everything the same, and everything different between Savannah, Vanna, and Future Savannah.
She made very productive use of her time in Cameron's future when she accompanied Savannah. She knew of all the similarities and differences of Allison and Future Allison. She knew it was only a matter of time until she could add Young Allison to the mix.
Cammy also knew everything about Hanna. Anna would make a fine addition regardless of her appearance.
Cameron 'finished' up with John. They showered together. Cameron tried to get John to knock one more off before they dressed, but he was spent. He said 'Little Willie' needed a rest. She didn't want to break it. They left the room and headed towards the Command Center.
A pleasant voice surprised John. He wasn't expecting it.
"John, I have your breakfast ready." Claire called out as they passed the commissary.
Cameron knew Claire would provide them with a child one day, one way or another. It also made her wonder if John could do it again right now with Claire. He couldn't get it up for her again, but she wondered if he could get it up for a different person. She read in Cosmo a guy couldn't do it with the same woman five times in a row but he could do it with five different women in a row. It really made her wonder how it worked. It was all the same thing, wasn't it? Maybe it was some leftover animal instinct to pass the genetic line on. She would give John a nudge and see what happened.
"Each person has something different to offer." Cameron whispered to John. "It never hurts to find out. I recommend you do."
John looked a little embarrassed after Cameron made her statement.
Claire saw Cameron right after she spoke to John.
"Hi, Cameron." Claire said as her pretty face brightened even more.
To see Cameron made Claire's day go from good to better, and it was just starting. She felt a lot of love for Cameron inside of her.
Cameron was pleased to see the reaction she caused in Claire. It pleased her even more to know it would make Claire more compliant with her desires and requests. She decided to push her agenda a little more. She glanced at John before she looked at Claire.
"Hi, Claire." Cameron said. "John was just on his way to see what you have 'available'. He likes to eat, and he's a hungry man."
John quickly looked at Cameron but refrained from making a comment. He was sure it would only make it worse.
Claire looked at Cameron for a moment. She turned her attention to John.
"I'm very proficient and skilled." Claire said. "I know I can provide whatever he's hungry for. I know you like to try a taste of everything as well just to see what it is like. I can assure you it won't be a problem. It's always good to sample something new."
Claire and Cameron looked at each other for a long moment.
John felt and looked nervous. He really wanted to be just about any other place than he was right now.
Summer was there too. She helped her mother cook. She said her greetings to John and Cameron.
Cameron wanted to make sure John stayed in the commissary.
"Summer, come out and get John for me." Cameron said. "I don't want him to get lost."
Summer giggled and ran out to take John by the hand. She led him inside the commissary.
Cameron bent down before Summer took John away and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Summer smiled at her.
Summer hoped one day she could be as beautiful as Cameron was.
Cameron looked at Summer and knew she would be more beautiful than she was. Metal Summer was proof of it. She could see it on everyone's face or when she scanned them.
Summer looked at Cameron for a moment. She thought it was all a matter of opinion and perspective. She didn't say anything to Cameron about it. It wasn't the right time.
It made her wonder about Metal Summer now and what was happening in River's future with the Duplicate set of girls including Duplicate Cameron. She hadn't heard anything from them for a while. She didn't want her mind to get stuck on a side track. It was time to move on.
Cameron excused herself and continued toward the Command Center. She looked back at Summer with John as she sat him at a table. She thought again how beautiful Summer would be as a teenager. She really wished she could be as beautiful as Summer would be.
She didn't 'lean' on Summer like she did Savannah and Young Allison at the same age. Claire could offer what she wanted for John now. Summer would become a 'backup' for John, like Young Jesse was. Their service, if needed, was already in their minds. It was part of the nightly 'conditioning'. She didn't know Young Allison specifically instructed Summer what her 'duties' would be if she were to fall in combat.
Cameron smiled again. John would be well protected from the Metal Haters of the anti-Metal faction. It was one of her assignments in the past. In a Skynet future, if John was only with a Metal girl as a lover, he was as good as dead. She still needed to get him to mate with one of them. Right NOW, Claire or Jesse would be the two most likely to act on her 'wishes'. She almost thought 'command'. She was only doing what Future John wanted her to do. Once John was with a human female again, he would want more. One was never enough. She knew it didn't matter how good they were in every regard. Everyone wanted more.
She knew the grass was always greener on the other side of the hill until the person arrived. Most of the time they realized the grass was greener from where they just left, not where they just arrived. They couldn't always recognize it in time. In fact, very few did.
She looked back again at Summer one last time.
Summer winked at her.
Cameron was sure Summer knew exactly what she wanted her to do.
Now she started to think about Metal Summer again in River's future. There hadn't been any contact with them for a long time. Maybe it was time to visit there again and see what was happening. Gail wanted to see Duplicate Jesse. She would bring her. Gail could stay with Duplicate Jesse until she died of old age. She could then return back to this timeline a minute after she left to do the same thing with Jesse.
Maybe she could keep some type of perpetuating 'self loop' where Gail could continue to do the same thing between the two different timelines indefinitely by replacing herself seconds after she arrived. Maybe she could do it before she arrived, or even left. They weren't the thoughts she wanted to have right now.
She realized it would be exactly the same thing she thought she was doing with her existence. She believed she kept reliving her same life over, but it was slightly different every time.
She believed River could do the 'Neural Interface' with Metal Summer. If she did, Metal Summer would become Metal River, or whatever name River wanted to use for her.
Cameron's mind was distracted and all over the place.
She needed to concentrate on the upcoming mission, her cruise with John. It was to be their long overdue honeymoon, just the two of them. She still thought about bringing Savannah and Claire along at the last moment to give John a real honeymoon. One would be young and unspoiled. One experienced and passionate. The best part was they shared in her future and would do so again with John as a trio. She wondered if she would sneak in and watch the three of them together. For some reason she didn't think she would glitch out. She thought if anything it might be instructional for her moving forward. She knew everyone was different and responded to the same things differently. She wanted to learn how to better please John.
"Are you just going to stand there?" John Henry asked.
Cameron jumped a little. She was unsure where she was at for a second.
"What?" Cameron asked.
Cameron looked around. She was in the Command Center. She wondered how long she was there.
She checked her files and saw it was only for twenty two seconds. She was glad it wasn't twenty two minutes.
"I was thinking." Cameron said. "Please give me a report."
John Henry didn't have anything.
"There's nothing new to report." John Henry said.
The reply wasn't good enough for Cameron.
"I want to know more about what was going on at the abandoned location." Cameron said.
John Henry was able to pull a few video files from surveillance cameras to provide some clues.
"I have some footage of the female on the motorcycle having been there." John Henry said. "Have you finished questioning her yet?"
Cameron looked away for a second.
"No." Cameron said. "She terminated during the interrogation."
John Henry pointed out the obvious.
"They last longer when Sheila 'interrogates' them." John Henry said. "She doesn't beat them to death as quickly anyway."
Cameron frowned at John Henry. She knew it was true. Sheila seldom beat a detainee to death. It was usually a more gruesome method.
"Savannah has asked for the method of interrogation not to be used unless it is absolutely necessary." Cameron said.
Cameron was aware there were times when Savannah faced termination. She was very upset about it and wanted to make sure those responsible 'paid' for it. She knew she told Sheila to do what she wanted to find out the information they needed. It was the green light for Sheila to go 'Scavenger' on the perpetrators. Sheila said 'Dark Jesse' was never too hard to find.
She remembered Jesse told her the same thing. Jesse told her 'Dark Jesse' was always close at hand if she ever needed her.
Cameron hoped they never needed her.
John Henry didn't think any of the humans approved of the type of interrogation. Well, Jesse did at one point. He wasn't sure if she would still condone such behavior. He thought they should all follow what John wanted.
"John doesn't approve of it either." John Henry said.
Cameron shrugged her shoulders. She knew they didn't always like the way she did things.
"I'm sure there is plenty John does not approve of related to me. It's his hang up, not mine." Cameron said. "Nobody is perfect."
John Henry decided to move on with the report.
"The female motorcycle rider was observed on surveillance footage and several traffic cameras." John Henry said. "She went by there the same day you encountered the first building which exploded."
Cameron hoped a few traffic cameras would give them some targeting information as to where she may have come from. The female motorcycle rider came from somewhere. She wanted to know where the place was at. She wanted to pay them a personal visit. She was still upset over the fact she almost was blown up. It would have been the second attempt if she wasn't busy earlier in the day when Cam needed to step up and assume her position.
"Can you back track her to any place specific?" Cameron asked.
John Henry continued to work on the process. He wanted to have a little more time. He also wanted John to know the information first before it was given to Cameron.
"I may have a few leads." John Henry said. "I'll let you know."
Cameron knew she was going on her cruise with John in one day. She needed to protect her sheath.
"Send Sheila and Ally with plenty of backup if you come up with anything." Cameron said.
Her statement was a little bit of a surprise to John Henry. He was sure Cameron would have gone on her own. Maybe he didn't need to inform John first. He wanted to be sure.
"You don't want to handle it yourself?" John Henry asked.
Cameron wanted her sheath in pristine condition for her honeymoon.
"I don't want any sheath damage, not even slightly." Cameron said. "I don't want to disappoint John."
John Henry thought there were several workaround solutions available to Cameron.
"You could always switch chassis with Cam or Cammy." John Henry said. "Everything is the same on them as it is for you."
Cameron would do it, even if she needed to use a Taser on them. She would make sure John was provided for. She was her program, not her chassis. She wanted it to be her chassis John was with on the cruise. She decided John would have an undamaged sheath no matter what she needed to do to obtain one. She was sure the girls wouldn't mind if she 'broke in' their chassis with John. It was an idea which intrigued her. She might just do it anyway.
"Don't worry, if I ever HAVE to do it, I will." Cameron said. "I'm my program."
John Henry saw he clearly upset Cameron.
"Relax." John Henry said. "Don't get upset."
Cameron was irritated even further by John Henry's response.
"I'm not upset." Cameron said.
John Henry lifted Cameron's left hand for her to see. It was glitching.
He hoped Savannah would return soon. Cameron needed her right now.
"When will Savannah be back?" John Henry asked.
Cameron wanted Savannah left alone.
"She's busy bonding with her true mate, Young Allison." Cameron said. "It's more important. I damaged the relationship once already with Vanna and Allison. I'm not going to let it ever happen again."
Cameron's hand began to glitch even worse.
John Henry's server made a call to the commissary. Cameron was unaware he did it.
Cameron was highly agitated now. Her past actions begin to haunt her. There didn't seem to be a shortage of them either.
"I've hurt too many people." Cameron said.
John Henry didn't want her to leave the Command Center yet.
"Will you sit down for a few minutes?" John Henry asked.
Cameron seemed to get more agitated.
She was about to get angry at John Henry when a small hand took her glitching hand. It instantly calmed her.
"Come on, Cameron, let's go study or hang out." Summer said. "We can go back to John and Mom too. We can do whatever you want. Maybe there are some new things you can teach me. You know I want to learn everything."
Cameron was very pleased Summer came for her. It was the soothing and calming interaction she needed right now.
"Sure, sweetie, we can go play." Cameron said. "Your mom and John need to spend time together."
Summer didn't want the conversation to go there. She was aware what Cameron wanted from everyone.
"They're almost done eating." Summer said.
Cameron knew she was pushing the conversation too much.
Summer led Cameron away.
Cameron looked back at John Henry and nodded once.
Summer took Cameron to her room.
Cameron wondered how Summer liked the switch to the base.
"Do you like it here?" Cameron asked.
Summer liked most of the things, but not all of them. There was one thing which bothered her immensely.
"Yes and no." Summer said. "I miss Allison."
Cameron wanted to speed up events in the present. It would require a temporal mission to the past. It wasn't for her benefit, but for everyone else's. She thought 'age' was their hang up, not hers. It seemed to her there were a lot of hang ups people experienced about different things.
"Young Allison has an important mission to conduct." Cameron said.
Summer was well aware of everything which needed to be done and by whom.
"I know all about it." Summer said.
Cameron was a little surprised to hear it. She wanted to know exactly what Summer knew.
"You do?" Cameron asked.
Summer looked around the room, it was empty. She knew a lot more about everything than any of them knew or understood. She didn't want to talk about part of it.
"I do. I also know my mission if anything happens to Allison." Summer said.
Cameron's hand started to glitch again.
Summer took it.
Cameron spent a few moments to collect herself. She wasn't sure she liked the direction the conversation was going.
"What is your mission?" Cameron asked.
Summer stood a little taller and straighter as she faced Cameron.
"It's my duty to take my place at John's side and protect him from the people who don't like Terminators." Summer said. "As time passes, I can have his children for him and you. I'll provide for both of you."
Cameron was really worried now. She was ruining everyone's life. Just like she lined up 'backups' in case anything happened to her, the 'backups' lined up 'backups' for themselves.
"Did Young Allison tell you this?" Cameron asked.
Summer promised Young Allison for a long time what she would do for her if she needed to.
"Yes." Summer said. "I promised her. I know how important things are and why. I know they are important to you."
Cameron knew it was all the things she made Savannah and Young Allison do and 'promise' her. How could she keep reaching into people's lives and touching what wasn't hers to touch?
Summer knew Cameron started to question herself. She knew it would only lead Cameron down a darker path. She could tell it was time to make the promise directly to Cameron as well. She looked Cameron in her eyes.
"Cameron, I promise you too." Summer said. "I swear it."
Cameron held Summer and hugged her close. It wasn't the direction she wanted things to go. Everything would be all wrong and it would indicate some type of catastrophe.
"Thank you." Cameron whispered. "You don't need to do it."
Summer believed she did need to do it. It was pounded into her head over and over by Young Allison. She also received some nightly 'conditioning' in regards to it as well. She figured the best thing to do was tell Cameron what everyone knew.
"Everyone sacrifices for John Connor." Summer said.
Cameron experienced another glitch impulse shoot through her left hand.
Why did Future John do this to her?
Cameron felt terrible.
Earlier:
John sat across from Claire as he ate his breakfast. He was very impressed with the quality of the food.
"This is really good." John said. "Everything you make is really good."
Claire looked directly in his eyes. She didn't think it would hurt to advertise.
"It is one of the things I can do." Claire said. "There are many others…."
John watched Claire's hand move down her neck slowly and pass between her breasts.
Claire could see where John's eyes were transfixed. It was the message she wanted to send. It was all right there in front of him. She really thought she should have entered his room when she was going to before. Things would be different now if she did.
John was afraid where the conversation was going.
Summer received a call and excused herself.
John wondered who called Summer away. He thought maybe it was Jan. He lifted his eyes back to Claire's face.
Claire's eyes dropped down from John's eyes to the area of his chin.
"I see you're working on a disguise for your cruise." Claire said.
She reached up and touched his facial hair.
"I've only been working on it for about a week." John said. "Do you like it?"
Claire's hand lingered on John's face.
"It makes you look distinguished." Claire said.
John felt excited when Claire touched him. It also made him incredibly nervous. The allure of being so close to a female being suggestive was very seductive. He knew she was right there for the taking. He was fairly certain he'd be able to knock one off if they went back to his room right now. He didn't think he could knock another one off with Cameron though.
"It's just a goatee." John said.
John finished his meal. He thanked Claire again. He offered to help her clean the dishes.
Claire couldn't help but glance towards the pantry area. All she would need was a few seconds with John alone to seal the deal. She just needed for him to touch her a little more suggestively. She thought about how she was with Sarah in the same location previously. It could have gone somewhere as well. The thought of the mother-son thing was very alluring to her. She doubted it would ever be at the same time, but one after the other wouldn't be bad. More than likely she would need to be with Sarah before John for obvious reasons.
Right now she would have liked for John to stay and work with her, but she knew he was needed elsewhere.
"You have more important things to do." Claire said.
She wanted to tell him she knew what Cameron wanted, what Cameron wanted her to do with him, for him. She was ready to do it and protect him. She could actually feel her body begin to respond in anticipation of her thoughts.
'When you get back from your honeymoon, you know where my room is….' Claire thought.
She wanted to say it. She didn't.
John excused himself and left.
Claire wondered where Summer went. She would promise Cameron again to do whatever she wanted as long as she didn't take Summer from her too. She never dreamed her youngest daughter already belonged to Cameron. She would have been even more surprised to know Young Allison was the one responsible. Well, the most responsible.
The allure of Cameron was incomprehensible. They were all under her spell. Everyone loved Cameron.
John arrived in the Command Center. He only saw John Henry.
They exchanged greetings.
John looked around one more time.
"I thought Cameron was here." John said.
John Henry didn't want to get into anything he witnessed.
"She was." John Henry said. "She left."
John was a little surprised to hear it.
"Where did she go?" John asked.
John Henry was a little worried about the direction the conversation was headed.
"I'm not sure." John Henry said.
John Henry didn't want to get into what made Cameron glitch and what he did to help her.
John knew she must be close by. He wanted to ask John Henry about the cruise. He was glad Cameron was away.
"Do you think it's a good idea for us to go on the cruise?" John asked.
John Henry believed that John and Cameron both needed some time off from daily operations. The activity level had picked up quite a bit recently.
"You both deserve a break from all of this." John Henry said.
John still didn't know if it was what Cameron really wanted. He wanted to know how it would affect operations.
"How many Terminators is she going to put on board?" John asked. "I don't want her to overdo it and leave everything else in jeopardy."
John Henry didn't know the details to his question. It seemed CamNet was handling all of it herself. He thought it was best if he didn't get involved at this point. He didn't want to step on Cameron's or CamNet's toes. He didn't want any fingers pointed at him either.
"It's currently unknown." John Henry said. "She's keeping everything under wraps. I don't think she wants any interference."
John was a little confused by the last part of his statement.
"Who could interfere?" John asked.
John Henry looked directly at John. He figured he needed to spell it out.
"You." John Henry said.
John knew Cameron needed some space and to do things how she thought would best protect him. He was sure if he made suggestions or changed anything, it would cause her a lot of personal grief. He figured he already did enough of it already.
"I need to let her do things her way." John said.
John Henry felt there was another important factor to consider.
"Don't forget who booked this for you two." John Henry said. "I'm sure they're going to have a little input as well."
John nodded.
"Savannah and Young Allison did." John said. "I haven't forgotten."
John was aware it was the 'Natural Order' knocking and keeping all the pieces of the puzzle together.
He briefly wondered if Cameron could talk either of the two girls into going along with them. Wait, what was he thinking? This was their honeymoon. He still couldn't help but think how exciting it would be to 'break in' one or both of the girls on the ship.
John shook his head to clear it. He needed to refocus.
"Let's go over everything you have or even think you might have." John said. "I want everything covered."
Closing monologue by Cameron:
Under Her Spell
Some may think love is magic
It's a feeling that may compel
The effects reach far and deep
They tend to linger and dwell
One's inner demons
Are easier to dispel
It doesn't take long
For them to expel
One begins to crack
Their own inner shell
They are slowly released
From their self created Hell
Over time and distance
They are bid farewell
As one breaks free
Of their mind's prison cell
When the demons creep back
They are easier to repel
Feelings of self doubt
Are easier to quell
A mind that is damaged
Is soon made well
When one allows it to happen
As they fall under her spell
Nobody
