Chapter 1150

Lover And Protector

Young Allison was aware she needed to get the ball rolling. The clock was running and the ship was on a schedule. The operation with Cammy and Savannah was already under way. It would be a challenge for her to get people lined up for the ship and follow Savannah's operation. Doing two or more things was how she trained for years. She didn't think it would be a problem. She actually welcomed the challenge.

She decided to stack the deck while she was at it and cover all the bases. She wanted to make sure Savannah and Cammy were protected. She was willing to go to any extent to make sure it happened. She looked over at Anna.

"I want you and CamNet to act instantly if anything needs to be done to help, assist, or protect Savannah and Cammy." Young Allison said. "I want you to bypass John Henry if necessary. I don't want anyone to think about it or talk about it. I want it done immediately. If they need help, they need help. Nothing will change it. Make sure they get the help instantly."

Anna planned to do it anyway. She felt she knew what Young Allison wanted at this point. It was still nice to have the approval. It always worried her a little whenever Young Allison gave CamNet the power to do anything which needed to be done. There were a multitude of extreme measures CamNet could take in order to do it. So far with a blanket order like it, CamNet hadn't acted too extreme.

"It will be so." Anna said. "All your previous information has been relayed."

Young Allison thought about the order she needed to deal with the people in so everything was covered with a smooth transition. Her primary concern was going to be Precious and her well being. Everything else would be based off of it.

"I need to talk to Vanna first." Young Allison said. "Then I need to speak with Riley."

John and Cameron waited for their desserts in the main dining room.

"Here comes the waiter." Cameron said quietly.

The waiter set the three desserts down and asked if they wanted anything else. He offered to get them coffee, tea, or any other beverage.

John told him they were good. It was all they were going to have. They thanked him and the waiter left.

John looked at the desserts and offered to let Cameron try what she wanted.

"Which one do you want to try first?" John asked.

Cameron looked at the mousse.

"This one, it looks like ice cream, but is darker and fluffier." Cameron said. "It looks soft. I can tell it's not too cold either."

John was pleased with Cameron's selection. He only ever tried mousse a few times before himself. It was so long ago, he didn't even remember when. He remembered one of them was pink, it was probably strawberry. The other one looked like the one in front of Cameron.

"It's chocolate mousse." John said.

Cameron tried a small taste. Multiple warnings went off in her HUD. The sugar content was extremely high. She was sure John would like it. It seemed the more warnings the food John consumed set off, the more John enjoyed the food.

"It's very sweet and rich." Cameron said. "I know you're going to like it very much."

Cameron moved the chocolate mousse in front of John.

"Which one would you like to try next?" John asked.

Cameron examined the small pastry the waiter brought. She was more intrigued by its construction than whatever taste it would deliver to her. She was aware of what it was called.

"I can try the Napoleon pastry." Cameron said. "It looks interesting."

Cameron moved her fork against it. She could see the entire pastry start to move and bend a little. It actually looked quite fragile.

"It's very delicate and flaky." Cameron said.

Cameron tried a small bite. It didn't set off many more warnings in her HUD than any other dessert did.

"It's fine." Cameron said.

Cameron moved the Napoleon in front of John. He just finished the chocolate mousse. She was surprised how quickly he consumed it. She knew it was light and fluffy so it was easy for him to eat. It wasn't too cold like ice cream was sometimes which could cause 'brain freeze' in humans. She knew it was just a term and not in an actual event.

She noticed the older couple look at her again. She was still in a good mood. She smiled at them. They quickly looked away.

Cameron moved the ice cream over in front of her. It was strawberry flavored. She tried a small taste of it. She was pleased by the chemical analysis of it. She knew it was incredibly fresh in every regard.

"This has real strawberries in it." Cameron said. "I don't believe there is anything artificial in it. There are no preservatives in it either. Everything is a natural ingredient. It's very high quality ice cream."

John thought about his earlier exchange with the waiter when he ordered the dessert items. He was able to learn a few interesting facts about what went inside of the galley.

"The waiter told me they make it on the ship." John said. "He said there's a galley tour a few times on the voyage. I would like to see how they do everything."

John was a little disappointed when he learned they wouldn't be able to get samples as they moved from station to station in the galley during the tour. He could understand why. People would probably drop and spill things as they moved around in close quarters during the tour People may not like something they tried because it was too sweet or the wrong flavor. They might set it down in another section and contaminate it. There would need to be a lot of extra cleaning after the passengers milled through the galley. He wasn't sure exactly how many different galleys there were on the ship. Maybe each one of them conducted its own tour.

Cameron didn't think it would be a problem. Since she was listed as the top VIP on the ship, as the owner's daughter, she was aware of a number of opportunities available to them. She knew if Bob was with them, there wouldn't be anyone to challenge anything they did within reason and common sense.

"We have total ship access at any time, even on the bridge as guests of the 'owners'." Cameron said. "Bob will be our escort to go any place we want at any time. It's once we're at sea. There are certain port rules they must obey. I can have CamNet 'officially' change them if necessary."

John didn't want to alter the Homeland Security procedures for their benefit only.

"Let's not do it." John said. "I don't want something to happen later on and it ends up being our fault."

Cameron specifically thought about their voyage and how things would apply to them. She hadn't intended for them to be permanent.

"CamNet can always change them back as necessary." Cameron said.

John wondered what CamNet couldn't do at this point. He didn't want to create an issue and ask. He was sure if Cameron came up with something CamNet couldn't do she would immediately set out to make it so CamNet could do it.

Cameron only tried one small taste of the strawberry ice cream before she set it in front of John. She knew it would take him a little longer to consume than the chocolate mousse did because it was so cold.

The old couple was finished and they got up to leave. Cameron thought about saying something to them but decided not to. She didn't want to draw any unnecessary attention to John. It would be a different story if she was alone. It would probably be an entirely different story if they were alone, when she was alone.

She didn't like all the attention they paid to her. She was glad it was her and not John they seemed fixated on. She really wondered what it was all about.

She watched them leave through the main entrance. They both looked at her again before they went out of view.

John looked at Cameron. He could see where things were headed. He was sure Cameron viewed the encounter as some type of veiled challenge or confrontation. He wanted to remind her they were on vacation. There didn't need to be any terminations on a vacation.

"Let it go." John said. "It's not a big deal and no harm was done."

Cameron turned around and looked back at John. She didn't believe she acted in an aggressive manner.

"I didn't say anything." Cameron said.

John watched the Terminator coldness creep in.

"You didn't have to." John said. "I've seen the look before. It doesn't end well for those you look at the same way."

Cameron smiled at John. She really didn't want to get into a discussion about some of her past events. She figured if things headed in that direction, she would need to remind John about some of his past actions as well. She was aware how nervous he became whenever it occurred.

"I'm fine." Cameron said.

Cameron would have Bob check them out and give her their room number. If she needed to interact with them on a more personal level, things might be a little different. If they were a threat, they would never show as having arrived at the cruise terminal or gotten on the ship. The Pacific Ocean was vast and deep. Maybe she would ask Bob to bring her some heavy chain. It was a thought which previously crossed her mind. It would be her preferred option to use once they were out at sea. She would review what spots the ocean floor was the deepest the ship would cross over to determine their final resting place. They would sleep with the fishes, eternally.

John finished the ice cream and they got up to leave.

Cameron checked around before they headed out. There were a multitude of options available to them once they left the main dining room. She wasn't really sure what John would like to do first. She thought about his earlier performance on the stairs. She wanted to save his stamina for the bedroom, not the stairway.

"Do you want to take the stairs or the elevator?" Cameron asked.

John touched his full belly. He looked at the elevator and the stairway behind it.

"After having consumed about three thousand calories in just over an hour. I'd have to say the stairs." John said. "I think I should be able to make it. I hope so anyway."

Cameron frowned slightly at his revelation. She realized she should have simply gone to the elevator with him and ushered him in.

Holly heard what John said and started up the stairs ahead of them. They were about thirty seconds behind her but she was already gone from view.

Gail watched Holly head out and waited thirty seconds after John and Cameron started up the stairs to follow. There was no one else around who was going to take the stairs. She closed up to one floor below them for the rest of the journey.

Cameron wanted to give John a few more choices before they returned to their suite.

"Do you want to hit the buffet again?" Cameron asked as they neared their floor.

John looked over at Cameron. He wondered if she just made a joke. He could see Cameron was serious. There were quite a few more items he would have liked to have tried. There was only so much he could eat in a given amount of time. There was something else he needed to consider as well.

"You said dinner was only a few hours away." John said.

Cameron wondered if they should have checked the dinner menu before they left the main dining room. It would have given John a better idea of what would be available to him later on.

"It will be in five and a half hours." Cameron said.

It seemed like a lot of time to kill to John. He figured he better not use the term with Cameron based upon her earlier disapproval of the older couple. He didn't want to give her any ideas. He figured he could knock off a quickie with Cameron, but it wasn't going to take much time. He still wanted to see everything on the ship.

"Maybe we can look around the ship some." John said. "I'd like to see everything firsthand."

Cameron figured there would be plenty of time for it later on. There was something else she wanted to take care of first. John was on a strict timetable when it came to love making for them.

"Not so fast." Cameron said.

John wondered why not. Maybe it was a security risk.

Cameron wanted John to share with her first. She thought maybe she should present the idea in more ways than one.

"You still need to burn off some of those calories. I think it should be done in our suite bedroom." Cameron said. "You still owe me four more times today. I plan to collect."

John smiled. He was ready for a little action. He just didn't want to stretch it out. Well, some things would stretch out, but he didn't want to stretch out the time duration.

"I don't think it will be a problem. There will still be three more to go." John said.

Cameron expected John to knock off two happy endings. There were a few other things they would need to take care of as well.

"When you get it down to two we can look around the ship and watch the 'sail away' party." Cameron said. "There will be a lifeboat drill too."

John didn't like all the exposure it sounded like with everyone confined to a few small areas. He hoped they wouldn't have to attend the lifeboat drill.

"Do we need to attend a lifeboat drill? Is it necessary?" John asked. "Won't there be a lot of people around us? I'm pretty sure you can get us out of it."

Cameron saw it as a safety issue for John. If there was some problem with the ship, she wanted to make sure he would be able to get off of it safely.

"It's better to be safe than sorry." Cameron said. "Remember, I don't swim. I want you to know exactly where everything is at ahead of time. It's the whole purpose of the drill."

John could picture Cameron walking on the ocean floor to get back to dry land. He wondered how long it would take. He saw there were life jackets in the room. He was aware the ship didn't move too far away from land. He wondered if they only moved far enough off the coast so they could open the casino.

"I'm sorry." John said. "Women and children first, it is."

Cameron tilted her head slightly. She didn't see it the same way at all. It was John first and everyone else after him. She would make sure he was on a lifeboat, even if she needed to physically remove other people from it. She wouldn't have any second thoughts about any males. She would be selective in the females she needed to remove. If they appeared to have children, she wouldn't throw them overboard. She recalled the scenes of several ships sinking from movies she viewed. She figured it would be best if she would study the launch procedure for the lifeboats. As soon as John was on board, she would go ahead and initiate the process. More than likely there would be other Terminators with her by then. They would commandeer the lifeboat and move it to safety. John would be protected.

They spotted Holly ahead of them go into the private access area where their luxury suites were located.

John looked behind them and Gail followed them from about ten cabins back. He briefly wondered if the guests in the Master Suite were the older couple who seemed to stare at Cameron. He sure hoped they weren't for their sake. It would be like serving up their own terminations on a silver platter to her. He wanted to check it out a little and see how she answered.

"I'm glad you have control of the guests in the Master Suite." John said. "I'm glad it's not the older couple."

Cameron looked over at John and smiled. He still didn't know Gail and Holly were the guests in the Master Suite. If Young Allison was able to get some more of the Resistance team members to come on board, it would soon be a different couple.

"I wouldn't worry about them…." Cameron said.

With her statement, John was worried. He was worried for the old couple. He didn't see any threat from them. Maybe Cameron would view it differently. He really hoped not. It still made him wonder what was up with them. Cameron obviously caught their attention somehow. He figured it was from a personal contact at some point. It was possible they witnessed her in action previously. He sure hoped it wasn't the case. He certainly didn't want them to witness her in action again on a more personal level.

Young Allison wanted to get things started for the rest of the team. She called Vanna and ran the idea by her about what needed to be done. Vanna was thrilled and on board. The thought of having Precious all to herself for one or two days made her very happy. It would be like she was a real mother then. She wouldn't need to share Precious with anyone.

Young Allison was surprised at how Vanna seemed more excited about not going on the voyage, and being able to take care of Precious instead. She was pretty sure all of the other people would have looked at it just the opposite way. She thought they all would have liked to have gone on the voyage and not be left behind at the Resistance base. She liked Vanna's resolve and commitment.

Vanna thought if she was lucky, Riley would stay all week on the ship. It didn't sound like it would be for more than a few days.

"I'll do everything for the one or two days they're gone." Vanna said. "They can stay longer if they want. I won't mind tending to Precious if they want to have a good time for a few more days."

Since Vanna was on board, it was time to ask Riley. She didn't want Vanna to get too far ahead of herself.

"I still need to speak with Riley and Derek." Young Allison said. "I just wanted to make sure you would be OK with taking care of Precious first. I know it's going to be Riley's primary concern and consideration about what she's going to do going forward."

Vanna thought she could assist Young Allison. She also believed she might have more influence to get Riley and Derek to stay on the ship longer. She hoped if they heard it directly from her, they would see and understand it wasn't a problem.

"I can do it if you want." Vanna said.

Young Allison thought Vanna could expedite things with Sarah and Kyle. She was worried it might be a touchy situation with them. She wasn't sure how her age would play in as a factor with them.

"I'll speak with Riley." Young Allison said. "You can find Sarah and Kyle and see what they want to do. I'd appreciate it. See what they want to do with Jan. She can stay with Summer and my mom if they want to be alone."

Vanna didn't really want to mention it to Young Allison but she wanted to get it out there as another option. She didn't want Claire or Jesse to get shortchanged either.

"Allison and I can watch Jan and Summer." Vanna said. "Jesse and your mother may want to go on one segment. I believe it's something you should offer to them. If I'm here with Precious, there's no reason Jesse needs to be as well."

Young Allison could tell Vanna was a little uneasy. She decided to make her position clear. She wanted her mother to have happiness and love.

"I know what everyone does. You might want to spend a day with her too." Young Allison said. "I don't have a problem with any of it. I think it's beautiful people can share with the ones they love."

Young Allison was about to mention she looked forward to the day when she could do the same things. She held her tongue. She smiled to herself when she put it into context. Somehow it was a good analogy.

Vanna felt more comfortable now. Allison previously told her Young Allison knew everything about everyone.

"It's beautiful." Vanna said.

Young Allison knew her future and she planned to do everything Savannah experienced. She knew what Vanna's dream would be one day.

"Especially since there are several variations of the same people. I look forward to it." Young Allison said. "The future will be beautiful, for all of us."

There was a long pause as Vanna reflected on the implications of what Young Allison just said.

Young Allison saw her shot fired over the bow, hit home instead.

"Are you still there?" Young Allison asked.

There were a multitude of thoughts which flooded Vanna's mind. She decided to watch her weight and maybe start some skin care products. Maybe she would look into some plastic surgery too. They could make her scar go away. This might be the motivating factor to do it. She suddenly wanted to look younger. It would be a dream come true to her. It would almost be like she could relive a segment of her life over again. She really wished she could for real. She would take what she could get. She wasn't about to turn down any offer like the one just indicated. She knew it was something which would need to happen on its own. She didn't want any flak about it from Allison or Claire either. She believed it should be Young Allison's choice.

"Sorry, I was lost in thought." Vanna said. " I can honestly say it's something to look forward to. I'll track down Sarah and Kyle."

Young Allison wanted to speed things along.

"Thank you for helping me." Young Allison said. "I'll call Riley."

Vanna really wanted to track down Allison right now…. It wasn't going to be 'Allison' either as they shared this time. She was going to think back on times past. The way things were. The way they could actually be again. It was really something to look forward to.

Young Allison hadn't dealt much with Riley over the years. She always was sociable when she was around her.

She decided to get straight down to business. She gave Riley a call and ran the proposal by her. Riley's decision would determine what happened with the other Resistance members.

There was some hesitation on Riley's part about Precious at first. She explained to Riley everything was covered two times over.

Riley was still a little reluctant.

"Riley, you know Precious will be in good hands." Young Allison said. "I want you to consider the bigger overall picture here. This will be an opportunity for you and Derek to re-establish your closeness and bond."

Riley was more than a little surprised with Young Allison's statement. It caught her off guard. She was more than aware their relationship became strained more than it seemed it needed to be. They did some work recently to bridge some of those gaps. There still seem to be plenty of them.

She was a little concerned about how much Young Allison seemed to know. Everyone told her Young Allison and Summer were far advanced beyond their years on Earth.

"Maybe Derek and I could use a few days together." Riley said. "I just don't know how big of an imposition we would be on the other couples."

Young Allison didn't think they would be much of an imposition at all. The suites were very large and the ship was gigantic. From what Cameron indicated, the different couples wouldn't even need to interact with each other unless they wanted to.

"There's plenty of room for everyone and there's plenty of privacy for everyone." Young Allison said. "I want you to know John is the one who requested his family and other team members come along on the adventure with them. It's something to think about. Cameron reaffirmed everything John requested. Nothing will be a problem for anyone. John was only on the ship for a short time before he decided he wanted others to come along as well. I think it's something very important to consider. He mentioned it to Cameron three different times before she finally decided to act. Since Savannah and I set the cruise up, she asked me to follow up on it with everyone else."

Riley wondered what it would be like to get away from it all for a few days. A few weeks ago she would have done anything to escape for a few days. Since everything settled down, she really wasn't so sure. Everything was working smoothly. She needed to remember it was all Cameron's doing as well. Cameron was the greatest. She watched over her and she watched over Precious and made sure she was provided for.

They carried on the conversation for a little while longer.

"I'm sold on the idea." Riley said. "I need to run everything by Derek and make sure he agrees to everything as well."

Young Allison glanced over towards Anna quickly.

"I'm sure you can think of a few ways to make him agreeable to your desires." Young Allison said. "It's a gift all females possess."

There was a slight pause and then Riley giggled.

They wrapped up the phone call.

Riley took a moment to look at the phone after the conversation ended. There were times she thought she was actually speaking to Cameron. She wondered if maybe it was really the other way around when she spoke to Cameron, if she was really speaking to a version of Allison Young.

She wanted to run the idea by Derek and see what he thought. She was good to go, if he was.

Cammy received some updates. She wanted to find the homeless man. She was presented with several new options. She glanced at Savannah.

"It's been suggested instead of us going through the crawlway first to look for the intruder, we can do something else and see if they'll come to us." Cammy said. "We still don't know where they're at, or even how many there actually are."

Tight spaces still bothered Savannah. It was her time in the mine, and then the section of metal tubing as part of it. It was the part she almost died in. She remembered thinking she really was going to die there. Cameron and Cammy were both there with her at the time. She accepted her fate. They were rescued instead.

"It sounds like a good idea." Savannah said. "I want to use the option which poses the least amount of risk to you."

Cammy looked at the electrical cabinet. She was given a suggestion as to what to do.

"We'll turn off the breakers and cut off the power. Hopefully someone will come to see what went wrong." Cammy said. "They seemed to know what to do in the first place to turn it on."

Savannah wondered if Young Allison made the call. They were all fresh ideas. Young Allison seemed to be pretty good at coming up with them.

"I just started to think about it." Savannah said. "I wonder if Young Allison was behind this idea. She's as sharp as a tack."

Savannah was aware when they went on any type of operation they tended to do the same things. It was something she was warned about in her training as well. It was easy to form habits. They encountered plenty of opposition where the enemy forces were complacent and didn't take their job seriously. Nothing ever happened, so after a while they always thought nothing ever would. It wasn't always the case.

Cammy looked for a place for them to hide when the man came to investigate. She didn't want to be spotted right away. She didn't want to be shot at and she didn't want to have to pursue the man into the unknown if he retreated.

"I think we can conceal ourselves over there." Cammy said. "I want him to completely exit the crawl space before we're spotted."

Cammy pointed at some storage cabinets.

Savannah hoped there wouldn't be any shooting. The electrical room was actually pretty tight quarters. A gun battle in such a confined space was bound to be messy. It had been her decision earlier not to wear their vests or bring long guns with them. She wanted to look like two teenage girls out for a walk, not someone on a combat patrol.

"Remember, we don't have our vests on." Savannah said.

Cammy planned to shield Savannah with her chassis. She would prefer not being shot at either. Cosmetic damage was always unpleasant to look at. Savannah never allowed it to be an issue. She was very appreciative of it.

"I don't want to lose a nipple or the breast it's attached to." Cammy said. "I'll use caution. You get into place first and I'll be in front of you."

Savannah smiled at Cammy.

"You're my lover and protector." Savannah said.

'For now.' Cammy thought.

Cammy knew Cameron would soon be the one to fill both of those roles. The 'Natural Order' was unstoppable. She really wondered what her fate was going to be.

"Always…." Cammy said with a smile.

She believed the term 'always' would be more accurate than 'forever'. Forever was a long time.

Savannah squeezed in between two storage cabinets. She was ready.

"Cut the juice." Savannah said.

Cammy flipped the master breaker and the room went black. The faint electrical hum died away.

Savannah hoped there wouldn't be any arcing, or some type of sparking when the power was cut. It could knock Cammy out of commission temporarily. She didn't know how long it would take for the individual to arrive at their location.

Cammy backed up against Savannah. She felt Savannah hands search out her breasts as they cupped over them.

"I want to make sure you don't lose anything." Savannah said.

Cammy wanted Savannah protected.

"It's better I lose a nipple than you lose a finger." Cammy said. "I can always get a new one if it won't regenerate. Thanks for the gesture."

Savannah slowly withdrew her hands from Cammy's breasts. She made sure she gave them a gentle squeeze before she did.

Cammy backed up a little into Savannah until she could feel her breasts firmly against her back. She wanted Savannah's breasts protected too. She also needed to protect Vanna's baby Savannah carried. The human girls with functioning reproductive tracts were considered high value targets to protect by all of the Terminators.

It was soothing to Cammy to feel Savannah's heart beat. It was so rhythmic and smooth. She noticed it quickened some as Savannah pressed tighter into her. She understood the life it represented. In Savannah's case, it actually represented two lives.

They both waited in the darkness.

They both thought of things they often did together in the darkness.

They both needed to remain alert as well.

Young Allison thought about what she just heard.

"It was an interesting conversation." Young Allison said.

Anna wondered how so. Everything seemed fine.

"Do you mean the conversation with Riley or Vanna?" Anna asked.

Young Allison smiled.

"No. Those both went smoothly." Young Allison said. "I meant the one between Savannah and Cammy."

Anna thought CamNet overstepped some.

"It was a private conversation." Anna said. "CamNet knows better than to allow it."

Young Allison found it somewhat enlightening. It really wasn't much different from some of the things she heard around the house anyway. It seemed Allison and her mother expressed quite a few things to say to Holly and Hanna as well.

"It was no big deal." Young Allison said. "You heard what Riley said?"

Anna overheard most of the conversation.

"Yes." Anna said. "It wasn't private."

Anna wasn't so sure about the conversation with Vanna. It was very forward of Young Allison. The long pause from Vanna made it even more awkward. It was clear what Vanna thought and looked forward to one day.

She felt a little jealous. It was the same thing she wanted and looked forward to. She was Young Allison's protector. She should be her lover as well or at least her cyborg lover.

Anna loved Young Allison too. She knew she could never compete with Cameron and Savannah. There was going to be Vanna and Hanna with her at some point in her life. Maybe it was time she stopped complaining about her age regression and figured out a way to keep it as an incentive for when Young Allison was older. It would probably work on Cameron, Savannah, and John too.

"Riley is on board for one or two days if Vanna or Jesse will take care of Precious for her. Vanna already said she wanted to do it." Young Allison said. "Samantha will be there to do everything else except to nurse Precious if needed."

Anna wanted to give Young Allison a reminder about her mother and Vanna. She was still troubled by the earlier conversation between Vanna and Young Allison.

"Vanna may also want to spend a day with your mother on the ship." Anna said.

Young Allison could have done without the reminder, but she wasn't going to stand in anyone's way for whatever they wanted to do with each other as long as it was by mutual consent. She didn't want anyone to stand in her way when she became active. She knew she was going to be very busy initially. She wanted to be with everyone as quickly as she could. It would provide for a good overview of what was available. It would be a vast learning opportunity. Everyone would want to give her their best. She knew a happy customer was a repeat customer. Right now it wasn't about her.

"I already suggested Vanna might want to be with my mother. They can do whatever they want as long as Jesse or Vanna is available for Precious, she comes first." Young Allison said. "Everyone is entitled to share with who they choose to when they choose to. I mean everyone."

Anna thought it sounded more like what Young Allison already planned for herself. She would need to alert Cameron about it. It was clear Young Allison already was thinking about her future and what it would offer. It was clearly more than Savannah or even the 'Natural Order'. She thought they needed to get all of the players on the field.

"Are you going to call Jesse and your mother next?" Anna asked.

Young Allison didn't want to get too far ahead of herself. The events needed to play out a little first so she knew which direction to take everything. She was a little concerned about what would happen at the port facility next since her plan was implemented to cut the power.

"I want to know what the Reese clan decides first. They'll call me back." Young Allison said. "I want to follow Savannah and Cammy for a while."

When Anna scanned Young Allison, it was evident she was aroused. It must be from her thinking about her future in a little too much detail. She was actually a little surprised Young Allison didn't protest when she scanned her. It took her a few moments to realize Young Allison wanted her to scan her how she was currently. She quickly withdrew her hand after a short scan. The two of them exchanged a long glance but nothing else was said.

Young Allison hoped everything she said to Vanna made an impact on Anna. What was offered to Vanna is the same thing she wanted to offer to Anna. She thought the conversation was a veiled attempt to do it. She wanted to make herself clear about what her future would provide her and others.

She felt she made her point during the visual exchange after the last scan. The response of her body to her earlier thoughts and comments spoke for itself.

Savannah pressed up tight against Cammy as she gently backed up into her.

They waited in the darkness. It was about a five minute wait.

Cammy heard a scraping noise and a 'thud'.

"Someone is coming." Cammy said. "There may be more than one. I don't know yet."

Savannah was in total darkness. She didn't have her night vision equipment with her.

"I can't see anything." Savannah said.

Cammy was able to use several different vision spectrums in the darkness. She wanted to issue a warning to Savannah.

"If you hear them about to flip the breaker, you need to shield your eyes." Cammy said.

Savannah was a little more worried there would be gunfire as soon as someone flipped a breaker.

There was a louder scraping noise as they waited in the darkness. Savannah could hear the last one herself.

Cammy received some last minute instructions as to the developments outside of the building. It was recommended they try a different approach than a direct one.

There was a distinct 'thud' and then two voices.

"I was in the 'can' when the lights went out." One man said. "Being inside the place gives me the creeps when it's dark. I don't like all the fake movie 'blood' around there. It looks real to me. Maybe it was a 'snuff film'."

"I don't know what happened." The other man said. "This is the first time the power went off."

"Maybe the movie studio forgot to pay the bill." One man said. "I don't think they're too big on the cleanup of an area after they're done with the shoot."

"I think after the director says 'cut' for the last time, nobody cares anymore." The other man said. "I never saw props which looked so real. It looks like a real battle took place in there."

"I'm just glad we found a place to bunk for a few days." One man said. "At least there's running water, even if there's no hot water. The electricity was nice too. Well, until it stopped working."

There was a very loud 'thump'.

"Son of a…." The other man said.

There was the click of a lighter being lit. A small glow was in front of the men as they moved in the faint eerie light of the lighter.

"The electrical box is over here." One man said.

"I see it." The other man said. "This whole place gives me the creeps anyway."

There was the distinct sound of a rattlesnake.

The lighter fell to the floor and bounced away, its flame extinguished. The room was in total darkness.

"There's a snake in here." One man said. "I can't see."

"Reach down and look for the lighter." The other man said.

"You can reach down in the darkness to look for the lighter if you want." One man said. "I don't want to find the snake instead. I don't want the snake to find me first either."

The sound increased until it sounded like there were several rattlesnakes in the darkness of the electrical room.

"Let's get out of here." The other man said. "I'm done with this place. I don't care what anyone tells me."

"You said it, man." One man said. "I'm out of here.

There was a fumbling sound and the door to the electrical room opened and the two men ran outside.

Holly looked around inside the private suite area. She heard Jim and Sheila in the process of moving the electrical equipment again. She opened the door as Cameron and John approached.

"Jim and Sheila are moving the computer gear back into your extra room." Holly said.

Gail joined them a few seconds later.

John excused himself and headed into the Owner's Suite. There was some personal business he needed to attend to.

Cameron figured there would be a lot of activity if all the suites were occupied by couples. She wanted everyone to have privacy. It included John and her.

"I understand." Cameron said. "Everyone will operate with reduced hearing while they're around the three suites here when they're occupied."

Gail quickly glanced at the Owner's Suite.

"We understand why." Gail said. "We're not here to cause problems."

Cameron thought Gail and Holly could be used more efficiently.

"The security needs seem very minimal on this ship for watching over John." Cameron said to Gail and Holly. "I'll have you two watch over whoever else comes on board."

"What about Cam and Ally?" Gail asked. "I know you don't want more than two who look like you at any one time."

Sheila came out to see what was happening. There was a big smile on her face.

Cameron looked at her current maid's outfit.

"We may have a spare chassis they can put their chip in." Cameron said as she looked at Sheila.

The smile slowly faded from Sheila's face.

John's head popped back out of the door of their suite. He wanted to see what happened to Cameron. He couldn't help but notice Sheila's new attire. Somehow her skirt was even shorter than it was previously. Everything was on display. He lightly moistened his lips before he looked away. He didn't want Cameron to catch him staring at Sheila's private parts.

Cameron saw the way John looked at Sheila and everything visible. Now more than ever she planned to use Sheila's chassis. She knew John liked Sheila's chassis. It was clear she liked Sheila's chassis too.

Everything was different on Sheila than it was on her, even if everything was the same part physically. She wondered if there would be a feeling or sensation change on any of the parts based upon it. She looked forward to finding out. She wondered how far Sheila would be willing to go to prevent from being deactivated. She was pretty sure it was a long way.

She would really like for Sheila to volunteer for the assignment. Well, volunteer her chassis anyway. She would be more than happy to share the file with Sheila as she 'broke in' her chassis with John as she controlled it. She quickly glanced at Holly and Gail. She hoped to be able to do the same thing with their chassis. Maybe if things went well with Sheila, they might volunteer as well. She would do everything for them. All they would need to do is go along for the ride. She planned to give them a good one.

Closing monologue by Cameron:

Lover And Protector

Will someone new
Be just another inspector
Of their own failures
They become a projector

Will someone new
Be just another prospector
They want total control
They want to be the selector

Will someone new
Be just another collector
Into their own realm
They try others to vector

Will someone new
Be just another director
They want to make the rules
They soon become an objector

Will someone new
Be just another defector
Who will stay the course
To become a lover and protector
