Chapter 1158
Where Are My Clothes
Cameron was on top of John. She faced him this time. He already took care of her earlier.
John watched her as she worked. He was sure her eyes turned blue for a second. He thought he saw it several times before. He figured as long as they didn't turn red, everything was good.
"Did you make it?" John asked.
Cameron smiled at John. She was very satisfied right now. She was pleased to be with John in the current setting.
"Yes. I made it twice." Cameron said. "I told you, you were good at it. This worked out too for the second round. I was able to make it last for a longer time."
Cameron wanted to make it last a little longer, but she didn't want to overdo it and end up like Cammy. She didn't want all of her systems overloaded. She couldn't really blame Cammy for what someone else did. It was actually Sheila's fault for keeping Cammy there for so long. Now she thought of Sheila and the upcoming use of her chassis. It would happen soon enough….
She really wanted to know if it would be different. At least she would be someone different. She wouldn't look the same anyway. Everything would be a little different with the borrowed sheath, both physically and visually.
She bent down and kissed John. He reached up and touched her. He gently kneaded her until the kiss ended.
Cameron climbed off of John. She kissed him again.
John was pleased he was able to satisfy Cameron this time. He wanted the honeymoon cruise to be more than just about him. He didn't want to forget about the upcoming event. It seemed like it was something very important to Cameron.
"When do we need to do the lifeboat drill?" John asked. "Do we need to wear anything special?"
It was another reason Cameron didn't overdo it. Time was short, even if John wasn't. They didn't need to dress up fancy for the drill.
"We need to get ready." Cameron said. "We only need to wear our regular clothes."
John wondered about the other couples. He was a little worried they might be lost in each other and not pay attention to the time. He wasn't really sure how to address it.
"Do we need to notify the others?" John asked.
Cameron listened for a few seconds. A faint smile appeared on her face.
"They're all finished." Cameron said. "It appears everyone shared a good time."
John didn't want so much information on the subject. He was slightly amused but didn't want to seem like it.
"TMI, Cameron." John said.
Cameron didn't think she did anything wrong.
"I only listened now." Cameron said. "It was just for a few seconds. I give everyone their privacy. I would want them to do the same for us."
Cameron always listened to see who was 'active' when she passed through the halls. She usually stopped listening once she knew. Sometimes she tried to figure out exactly what they were doing. It was only curiosity. Sheila and Jesse were the most active. They always seemed to seek each other out when the others were away or busy. It made her wonder how Young Jesse would fit into the mix….
John's words brought her back to now.
"OK. Are they getting ready?" John asked. "Do they know what to do?"
Cameron listened further.
"Derek and Riley are finished." Cameron said.
The specific omission made John wonder about Kyle and Sarah.
"What about my parents?" John asked.
Cameron knew they would need a few more minutes. She didn't want to tell him his mother wanted a little bit more before she was done.
"Not yet." Cameron said.
John didn't want to cause a problem. He wanted things to remain as professional as possible.
"Have Jim call them as the room steward to notify them of the standard procedure on the ship for the drill." John said. "Have him make sure they all know what to do."
Cameron tilted her head slightly.
"Do you know what to do?" Cameron asked.
John remembered the area Cameron indicated before.
"I think I do." John said.
Cameron wanted to make sure. There was an important reminder on the back side of every cabin door. It seemed to be something universal in the hotel industry, for land or for sea. It was the emergency evacuation information.
"The evacuation instructions are on the backside of the suite door." Cameron said. "Maybe you should take a quick look at it as a refresher. No one can be too prepared. You can go ahead and get dressed after you check. I want to take care of something real quick."
John was up now and looked at the back of the suite's entry door. It was something he viewed several times when he went out of the suite previously. He never really looked at it until now. He didn't think many people actually read it and paid attention to what it said. There was a diagram. It showed where their 'muster station' was at. He remembered seeing something on the back of the door in the suites they occupied in Las Vegas. The notice indicated where the stairs were at the end of the hallway in case of an emergency.
He thought it was time to get dressed. There was a certain amount of anticipation in the air.
He saw Cameron pass behind him and enter the Control Center. She was still naked. It didn't bother him too much. He knew it didn't bother Cameron at all.
She didn't seem to be in a hurry or look too distressed. He figured Cameron went to do what he suggested they do and have Jim notify the others as the room steward. Sheila could also do it as the maid. He wasn't sure who would be in the Control Center, but one of the Terminators would be.
All the Terminators were in the Control Center. They all looked up as Cameron strode boldly into the room naked.
"May I have an update, please?" Cameron asked.
They were all surprised Cameron seemed so cordial. It was very unlike her. Usually she was more curt and demanding.
Holly filled her in on the status of Cammy and Savannah, along with Frank and Dan. Their other operations were spread out and mostly in a recon or surveillance phase.
Cameron was pleased to learn there hadn't been any gunfire involved in any of the locations so far. She wanted to heed John's earlier suggestion. She looked at Jim and Sheila.
"I need you two to make sure your suite guests are ready to report to their muster station with their life vest carried and not worn." Cameron said. "Knock and tell them through the door. Make sure they know it's an official announcement. The room stewards throughout the ship need to do the same thing and then physically check the rooms are empty."
Ally looked at Cameron. Cameron still looked better than her, even after a heavy sexual encounter. It always made her a little self conscious. Since she was on the ship, and Allison wasn't, maybe she would fix herself up a little more. She normally needed to maintain the same 'plain' appearance as Allison in case she needed to replace her in some type of Skynet related incident.
Gail took in Cameron's beauty. She looked at the other Terminators.
"What do you want us to do?" Gail asked.
"Holly and you can get your life vests and follow Derek and Riley down. They're almost ready." Cameron said. "No one wants to walk back to shore underwater. You all need to pay attention to the information. I also will have CamNet update each of you with a file on how to successfully launch a lifeboat on your own. I want you to know all the details and exactly what to do. There have been some issues in the past where those launching the lifeboats were a little less than successful in getting them in the water in upright condition."
Cameron's last statement made all of them wonder why. It sounded like serious business. If they weren't still tied up to the dock, it would cause all of them a little bit more concern.
Hanna wanted to know what the duty assignments would be. She knew they weren't there on vacation.
"Do we go with Sarah and Kyle?" Hanna asked.
Cameron didn't want any mix-ups. She wanted them to know exactly what they would need to do if things were to take a turn for the worse.
"Ally and you will accompany them." Cameron said. "I want one in the front and one behind them. In the advent of a real emergency you may need to other passengers out of the way. Our people come first. You'll ensure they do."
Ally always heard a different priority. She tried to make a joke about it.
"What happened to the time honored tradition of 'women and children first'?" Ally asked.
Cameron didn't take it as a joke.
"Skynet happened." Cameron said. "Children and women come next in the lineup. We'll take as many we can, but we will exit the danger area. Our group comes first. You will move whoever is in your way, out of the way if it becomes necessary. I'll stay behind to assist the other passengers. I will personally launch the lifeboat with John and the others in it myself if I need to."
They all knew once the lifeboat was lowered, the ones who lowered it normally wouldn't be on it.
She expected to hear some protests but there were none.
Cameron turned around and headed back to her main suite.
She paused at the door and looked back, everyone watched her. She faced them so they could all see her clearly.
"Thank you all for helping to make this happen." Cameron said. "It means a lot to John and his family. It means a lot to me as well."
Cameron turned around and was gone as quickly as she arrived.
The door closed behind her.
Cameron's words echoed in all of their minds. The part which seemed to make the most impact was her statement about how she would remain behind to assist the other passengers.
"How do you follow that act?" Ally asked.
All of the Terminators wondered the same thing.
Jim wanted to stick to the job.
"We follow it by carrying out her orders." Jim said. "Sheila and I have a specific job to do. It's part of our function as crew members."
All of them were glad Savannah wasn't on board in case the ship sank. They figured Savannah would stay behind with Cameron after ordering them all away. Savannah would order Cameron away too at some point and remain behind by herself. They all believed she would. There was drone footage of her doing the very thing before with nowhere for her to go, or any way to escape. It was a very sobering thought.
John was almost dressed when Cameron came back into the bedroom.
He watched her open the closet and take out their life vests.
As soon as John tied his shoes and stood, she handed him his life vest.
"Let's go." Cameron said. "Don't put it on."
She was still naked. All she held was her life vest.
John didn't know if she was messing around with him or not. He thought maybe he would play it out a little bit and see what happened.
"OK." John said. "Let's roll."
John exited the bedroom and headed for the door. Cameron followed behind him. He looked back and opened the door. He was about ready to step out. He didn't want it to go too far. He also needed to know if Cameron may be having some type of problem. He used as much tact as possible.
"Is there a 'dress code' for the lifeboat drill?" John asked.
Cameron looked John over from head to toe. She thought she answered his question earlier. Nothing was different.
"Casual is fine." Cameron said. "You look perfect."
John tried again. He was pretty sure she wasn't playing around at this point.
"Were you going to wear your sunglasses?" John asked.
Cameron looked towards the door of the Control Center for a moment. She looked back at John. She blinked her eyes twice.
"Thanks. I almost forgot." Cameron said. "I knew I forgot something. I couldn't remember what it was."
Cameron picked up her sunglasses from off the dresser and put them on.
She grabbed her sun hat too and put it on.
John looked at her.
"I'm pretty sure no one is going to remember your face." John said. "I strongly doubt they're even going to look at it."
Cameron smiled. She knew everyone always looked at her face. They didn't just look once, they always looked at least twice, if not three times. It was a little irritating.
"It's the idea." Cameron said. "I don't know why they always do it. People need to understand everyone looks like they do, because it's how they look. It shouldn't be an issue from one extreme to the other."
It was clear to John something was bothering Cameron. It must be something with Young Allison or Savannah. Those were the kind of worries which upset Cameron greatly. He remembered she looked towards the door of the Control Center a few seconds ago. She was just in there a minute before.
"Is anything wrong?" John asked. "Is Savannah OK?"
Cameron suppressed a glitch impulse. She told him very little of what she knew. She didn't want to involve him. John was supposed to be on vacation. She was only supposed to check on Resistance matters while he was asleep or busy with other personal needs.
"I don't know." Cameron said. "Savannah thinks something is off. I'm trying not to worry about it. Cammy will take care of her. Let's go."
John could see it was a big deal. He began to wonder if Cameron should even attend the lifeboat drill at this point. Maybe she should remain where she was until she knew more.
"I think you're very worried about it." John said.
Cameron didn't want to involve John.
"I'm trying not to." Cameron said. "I want to focus on you."
John still tried to be subtle. He didn't want to put her on the spot. He wanted her to discover on her own what she was missing.
"I'm focused on you right now." John said. "Look at your disguise in the full length mirror. I think it needs a few adjustments. It seems to be a pretty good indication you're more than a little worried."
Cameron adjusted her hat and straightened her sunglasses. She turned around and stood in front of the mirror.
John watched Cameron look in the mirror. She looked down at her body. Her hands quickly ran over her unclothed sheath. She looked back in the mirror again.
"Where are my clothes?" Cameron asked. "I'm sure I put them on."
John saw they were still on the bed. He even quickly arranged them for her.
"Are you alright?" John asked.
Cameron looked down at her unclothed sheath again.
"I'm fine." Cameron said.
John knew where the answer usually led. It was never to a good place. He didn't want to create an issue, but he needed to point out the obvious.
"Maybe you're more worried than you think." John said.
The current episode reminded John of Cammy very recently when she went through a similar episode. He didn't point it out. He later learned in Cammy's case it was because Sheila over-stimulated her for an extended period of time. They'd just been together but he didn't think it was anything excessive. He believed there was another underlying factor involved.
Cameron looked down at herself one more time. She was still naked. It reminded her of Cammy a few days ago. She decided not to mention it. It was very troubling. At the time, Cammy reminded her of herself. Now here it was. It really was her this time.
"I tried to block out some things so I wouldn't worry. I think I blocked too much." Cameron said. "I need to let the others do their jobs. They're all trained and know what to do."
Cameron liked to take the risk herself. She didn't like to see others endangered. If there was going to be trouble, she wanted to face it alone. It currently wasn't the case. It wouldn't be the case for an entire week.
John could see Cameron still looked a little lost. He wasn't sure what to say. He was sure if he said something it would cause a problem.
Cameron grabbed a pair of pants and a shirt off the bed. She threw them on in a flash.
"How's this?" Cameron asked.
John believed Cameron looked beautiful in any attire. He wanted to try to end the uncertainty on a pleasant note.
"I think I liked you better a few seconds ago." John said.
Cameron wanted to please John. She would allow him to do all the things he liked to do. She knew there were a few things he was hesitant to do because she hadn't been pleased with them previously. She still let him do them.
"You'll see as much of me as you want the same way. You can look and touch as much as you want. You can do anything you want to do." Cameron said. "I'll stay naked for you while we are in this suite all the time."
John wondered how far she would go.
"What if you go out on the balcony?" John asked.
Cameron didn't see it as a big deal. The balconies for the luxury suites were fairly secluded. It was almost as if they were designed to keep others from viewing them.
"Nobody can see me." Cameron said.
Cameron figured if it was one of the other couples in the adjoining suites it wouldn't be a big deal. It's not like they all hadn't seen her naked multiple times. They also were able to see Cam, Cammy, and Ally naked as well. Their sheaths were all identical.
John was still a little worried about Cameron now. He really wondered what Savannah and Cammy were up to. It seemed like it must be something dangerous. He wondered if maybe he should look into it and see what was going on.
No.
If he became directly involved, Cameron would become more involved. He at least needed to wait until the ship cast off. Until the mooring ropes were back inside the vessel and it started to move away from the dock. He wouldn't check on anything.
Moments ago:
Sheila went to Derek's and Riley's suite and knocked.
"Excuse me, I have an official announcement." Sheila said. "It's only a few minutes until the lifeboat drill. It's a requirement by the Coast Guard for all passengers. Everyone needs to attend for their own personal safety."
The door opened and Derek looked out.
"We're almost ready." Derek said.
Sheila smiled.
Derek thought she really looked Hot in her maid's outfit.
Sheila liked the way Derek looked at her. She wouldn't mind showing Riley and him a little more. It really wouldn't be anything new for either of them. Since she shared Jesse's DNA, they both clearly experienced every square inch of her sheath on Jesse's body. She wanted to make sure they understood the evacuation procedure.
"Your muster station is shown on the back of your door." Sheila said.
Derek could tell Sheila was being very professional.
"I can see you take your position seriously." Derek said.
Sheila really didn't see it as anything different than normal. All of the Terminators were worried about the Resistance members, especially the human ones. The only thing different was the venue.
"Safety is our number one concern." Sheila said.
If it wasn't for the serious nature of the lifeboat drill, she would have commented she took every position seriously, especially when it involved some type of sex act.
Derek knew there was a lot of truth in her statement. Terminators took damage for him on more than one occasion. The damage they took would have killed him.
"I guess it is." Derek said. "Thanks. I'll show Riley where to look and we'll be right out."
Sheila heard Riley in the background.
"Where are my clothes?" Riley asked.
Sheila smiled at Derek and winked.
Derek shrugged his shoulders and smiled back.
The door closed again.
Sheila paused for a moment to listen.
"Your clothes are scattered all the way back to the balcony where you first started removing them." Derek said.
"You did a good job of helping me get them off." Riley said.
"I think it was a mutual arrangement." Derek said.
Sheila smile to herself and moved on to continue her duties.
Moments ago:
Jim went to Kyle and Sarah's suite and knocked.
"I have an official announcement. It's standard procedure." Jim said. "It's a few minutes until the lifeboat drill. It's something all passengers need to attend."
There was no response.
Jim took out his pass key-card and was about to put it in the lock.
The door opened and Sarah looked out. She only peeked her head around the door. She was obviously naked. When she saw it was Jim she relaxed.
Jim was always around the Reese clan. There were different times over the years when he saw her only partially clothed, or even nude a few times. There were never any sexual overtones to it.
Sarah was very comfortable with him. She stood straight and opened the door a little more.
Jim was able to see half of her nude figure. He liked how firm and trim it was.
"It's almost time for the lifeboat drill." Jim said. "I'm sorry to intrude, but I needed to make an official announcement. It's part of the standard procedure for our guests. I didn't want you to be in a bind for time."
Sarah looked back over her shoulder. She really didn't want to say exactly what was wrong.
"We're having a slight problem." Sarah said.
Jim stood a little straighter. He took his eyes off of Sarah's private areas and returned them to her face. He felt a little negligent. He couldn't help but compare what he just saw on Sheila a short while ago with Sarah. Even though everything was the same, everything was different in detail. He tried not to focus on it. The naked image of Cameron popped into his head instead. Everything was different in detail on her as well. He needed to refocus.
"I'm here to take care of any problems you have." Jim said. "I'm your room steward. Let me in and I'll take care of it. It is my current function and job. I take it very seriously."
Jim heard the toilet flush.
"It's still jammed." Kyle said. "Who was it?"
Sarah shrugged her shoulders and flashed Jim a faint smile.
"It is time for the lifeboat drill." Sarah said over her shoulder. "Let's get crackin'."
Jim spoke quietly to Sarah.
"I'll attend to this matter. I'll use the utmost discretion." Jim said. "I need both of you to get ready. Please note the location of your muster station on the back of your door. It's a very important safety procedure for all passengers."
Sarah's body disappeared back in the room for a few seconds as she looked at the diagram on the back of her room door. She reappeared and he was able to see her entire naked body this time.
"I got it." Sarah said.
Jim wanted to reassure Sarah.
"Sarah, I'll fix the problem." Jim said. "You and Kyle must get ready. The drill is important for your safety in case there's a real emergency."
Sarah still felt a little embarrassed.
"I'm sorry about this." Sarah said.
The toilet flushed again.
"It's fixed." Kyle said.
Kyle came around the corner. He was naked. He backed up around the corner when he saw the door was open.
"It's just me." Jim said. "It's time for the lifeboat drill. It is a very important function. It's required all the passengers attend by the Coast Guard. It's necessary for your personal safety. It's something Cameron stressed she wants all of us to do."
Sarah looked back at Kyle.
"Our muster station is indicated on the back of the door, here." Sarah said as she pointed.
Kyle wondered why he hadn't looked at it earlier. He saw there was some type of notice on the door. He was so excited about everything else he hadn't looked at it. He actually forgot about it.
"Now, aren't you quite the sailor…." Kyle said.
Sarah knew she could get dressed quicker than Kyle could.
"Hurry up or you're going to make us late." Sarah said.
Kyle sounded like he was in the bedroom area now.
"Where are my clothes?" Kyle asked.
Sarah winked at Jim and closed the door.
Jim paused for a moment to listen.
"They're probably scattered around the room where you took them off." Sarah said. "Mine are too. I'll race you."
Jim smiled to himself and went about his duties.
Cammy was updated by John Henry. She thought it was good news.
"We have two additional teams of Terminators in the area." Cammy said. "It's six Terminators plus me."
Savannah wanted all the teams strengthened. She didn't want everyone to concentrate on her. She felt the situation with the two homeless men was yet to play out. At some point they would more than likely split up. She wanted there to be two Terminators for each of the homeless men when it occurred. There were still a lot of unknowns as to what was going to happen with them.
"I want one team to assist Dan and Frank." Savannah said.
Savannah's decision only made Cammy worry more. She was worried there was more in play than she could actually see herself.
"What do you think is happening?" Cammy asked.
Savannah remembered how it appeared there may have been someone else that was supposed to arrive at the port facility the night of the attack by the Syndicate. It seemed the attacking force was waiting for someone else to arrive before the Resistance presence triggered the ambush early.
"I think whoever came to attack the Grays is still around." Savannah said. "Or it could be whoever the attacking group may have been waiting for before we messed up their timetable."
Cammy possessed the same information. She hadn't made the same assumptions. The operation seemed to have concluded a week ago. She was sure Savannah knew a little more than she revealed yet. It seemed important she should understand everything the same way Savannah currently did.
"Based on what?" Cammy asked. "What am I missing? What else do I need to know? How serious do you perceive the threat to be?"
She could think of several reasons. The main reason was the group who came to attack the port facility never returned to their home base. They were never found and weren't still at the port location. They were transported out to the ocean and now slept with the fishes in Davy Jones's Locker.
"It's based on the fact their group never returned back to where they came from. They were all killed." Savannah said. "They're looking for answers. There's probably more than one group who's wondering what happened to their soldiers. A group of men sent out to attack a location who don't return, leaves a lot of unanswered questions for whoever sent them."
Cammy figured it was resolved.
"We believed it was the Syndicate." Cammy said. "They're fighting to stay alive against the Cartel now. They shouldn't be concerned about a minor loss in the field."
Savannah didn't think it would be considered a minor loss. It was two carloads full of men who were in the front, and one which came in the rear. She felt they needed to consider a few other possibilities. She still believed there were at least three groups involved, even if they only engaged two of them. They still didn't know which group the sniper, who almost popped Cameron in the head, belonged to.
"What if it was another group of Grays or the anti-Metal faction?" Savannah asked.
Cammy liked to operate with facts. They didn't have any facts. Everything was supposition and guesswork. They gathered what information they could from the deceased. They need the port facility was controlled by a group of Grays attempting to make something with Liquid Metal. The group who attempted to attack it was from the Syndicate. Based on their phones and their affiliation, those all seem to be facts. Exactly what the group who was about to attack the port facility was waiting for, was never determined. It was another question asked to who or what they were waiting for. It was unknown which group the sniper was affiliated with since they were terminated with a missile strike from a drone. There wasn't much for them to go by. She didn't see it as anything new, or any additional information to work with.
"We've been over all of this several times." Cammy said.
Savannah spent a lot of time trying to put it all together. The current situation only seemed to cloud things even more. It didn't clear anything up. She was worried about the true mission of the two homeless men. She began to question if it's what they really were at this point. It seemed everyone else thought they were something more. Maybe they were. Maybe they were just patsies. She didn't know. The safety of her troops came first. It was time to make a decision.
"Have the second team of Terminators watch over the first team of Terminators who are watching over Dan and Frank." Savannah said. "They're the ones we sent after the 'bait'. As far as we know those men may be purposely drawing us out."
Savannah really began to wonder if the sole purpose of the two men was to draw as many of the Resistance team into the compound as possible. If it was, they altered the plan by drawing the men out. The men were no longer in the port facility. They were in a homeless camp. Their team wasn't concentrated at the port facility right now. It was strung out in pursuit of an answer. Maybe they were all vulnerable at this point.
Cammy received new information.
"CamNet has informed me we now have four drones." Cammy said.
Savannah was pleased to receive the information. It would give them better reconnaissance as well as better protection
"There's one drone for each team." Savannah said. "I want each team covered."
Savannah wanted to use the same protocol Young Allison established for her earlier. If a drone needed to move into gun range, even in the daylight, she wanted it done to protect their troops. The use of the gun would cause much less collateral damage than a missile would under any circumstance. If anyone actually spotted the drone it would be pegged as an advertising stunt or a UFO.
Cammy could see Savannah looked very serious.
"Now you have me worried." Cammy said.
With the extra Terminators and drone support, Savannah could tell someone else was worried as well.
"I'm sorry." Savannah said. "It's probably nothing."
Savannah wished she could believe it herself but she couldn't. She really didn't think they were alone.
Bob was much busier than he thought he was going to be. It seemed like there were a million things happening at once. There were a lot of things he needed to do.
It was almost time for the lifeboat drill. They would seal the ship right before the drill and make it watertight for the first three decks. It's where much of the machinery and some crew quarters were located. He was aware in an actual incident if the water were to make it up to Deck Five, there was no stopping it from there. The atrium near the center of the ship was open for several floors going upward. There was nothing which could stop the water then.
He still needed to head up and check on the team and make sure everything was to his satisfaction. CamNet assured him it was.
There were still three missing crew members who hadn't re-boarded the ship. He was told it was normal. It seemed at least one crew member a month 'jumped ship', so to speak. There were always those who missed returning to the ship when they were in a big city. Some were tired of the long hours on the ship. Some hoped for a budding romance with a passenger on the last cruise. Some were happy just to be in the USA. It seemed to hold more promise than working on a ship for long hours everyday. He understood many of the crew members were from countries which were nothing more than glorified third world countries. Life was hard and chaotic and there were few good jobs. There was little prospect to advance their lives where they came from.
Either way, he viewed them as turncoats or traitors. They signed a contract and agreed to work for a specific time period. Those individuals violated the contract. If it wasn't his primary function to make sure everything was safe for John, he would have a team of Terminators track them down and deal with them. He would then personally terminate each one of them in his Cruise Line uniform. He would need to do it in a manner which didn't get any blood on it either. He didn't want his uniform ruined.
There were dozens of pieces of luggage where the tag was torn off or lost. They needed to try and find out where it went. All the supplies put on board still needed another check.
He would need to make sure Cameron's group was taken care of for the lifeboat drill.
Bob was glad he didn't need to sleep.
Earlier:
Summer left John Henry and the Command Center behind. She made her way back towards the recreation room. She observed her mother was still working with Jan. She decided to head to the lab and look at the computers there. There was an array of them.
She saw Samantha walking around and followed her for a while. She watched her go by and check on her mother and then on Allison. She paused and moved on.
When she passed by Allison's room, she heard Jesse was in there with Allison. It sounded like they would be headed out soon.
Maybe she should just go back to where John Henry was at. There were more monitors to look at there. She would try and drop in unannounced.
Precious was asleep now.
Vanna finished nursing her and changed her. She put her down for a nap and she fell asleep very fast.
Allison stopped by with Jesse about twenty minutes after Samantha left.
"Precious is sleeping." Vanna said quietly.
Jesse wanted to make sure Vanna was good.
"We can come back later." Jesse said. "I just wanted to check if you would need a break for the next feeding."
Vanna felt she was in control.
"I have it covered." Vanna said.
Jesse cupped both of her breasts and looked at Allison.
"It looks like you're up, love." Jesse said to Allison.
Jesse would actually like to share one with Claire and Allison at the same time. She wasn't sure how far Allison was willing to go in a situation like it. Maybe she would just play it cool for now and not say anything. If the three of them were alone, she would probably suggest it anyway, even if it wasn't necessary. She realized it was more her fantasy than it would be theirs.
Allison wanted to try something new. Vanna and Jesse were both there.
"Here I hoped for one from each of you at the same time." Allison said.
Jesse liked the idea. It was much like what she thought earlier except with Vanna instead of Claire. She was sure Allison would go for it, especially since she just said so.
Vanna liked Allison's idea.
"I'm in when Riley is back." Vanna said.
Allison wanted to give Vanna some support.
"I'll stop by later." Allison said.
Vanna didn't want Allison to feel obligated for what she volunteered for. Taking care of Precious was her responsibility, not Allison's or anyone else's. She knew Samantha would be back soon and want to take over some of the duties. She wanted to handle everything herself as much as possible.
"You don't need to." Vanna said. "I have this."
Allison wanted Vanna to know she was there for her.
"I want to." Allison said.
The long time lovers still craved each other.
"Sure, Allison, you're welcome anytime." Vanna said.
Allison gave Vanna a quick kiss.
"I'll be back." Allison said.
Jesse took Allison's hand and led her from the room. Allison looked back once before the door closed.
Vanna thought she heard a noise in the nursery next door. She quietly moved over to the door and listened. It was quiet. She carefully opened the door and peeked in. She was a little startled. Samantha stood there facing the door. She was in standby.
She could tell Samantha really cared about Precious. She could be doing anything. There she was silently waiting at her post. She was unaware of the new sexual freedom Cameron granted her earlier. Now she felt bad about sending Samantha away earlier. It was only one thing bothering her.
Maybe she was worried about Allison.
Young Allison was very worried about Savannah. She was able to listen to most of the conversation between Savannah and Cammy.
"Savannah thinks something is off." Young Allison said.
Anna went over all the data and files.
"We've checked everything for a week." Anna said. "Nothing has turned up."
Young Allison saw it a little deeper. What occurred didn't seem like a minor infraction to her. It seemed like something purposely orchestrated. The more she thought about it, the more it seemed like someone wanted them to find the men in there and send a group to investigate. Maybe someone planned to draw as many of them in as possible. Perhaps when it occurred, something was going to happen in a negative way to the Resistance group. Since they suspected three different groups being involved, any one of the three, or all three of them, may have planned a surprise for one or more of the other groups. Maybe all of them did. It was doubtful any of them knew it was the Resistance who actually took down the entire operation.
"Two people living undetected inside the building is something." Young Allison said. "The more I think about it, the more I don't think it was random chance in any way."
Anna received an update.
"It does seem highly irregular." Anna said. "We have eight Terminators there with Savannah."
Young Allison figured the eighth one was Cam.
"Did Cam come back?" Young Allison asked.
Anna wasn't sure how best to deploy Cam. Currently she was all alone.
"She's in the process." Anna said. "Do you want her to join Cammy and Savannah?"
Young Allison wanted Savannah protected. She also didn't want any hard feelings.
"I don't know." Young Allison said. "It may make Cammy feel like we don't think she can cut it. It will cause her to become less effective as she worries about it."
Anna was concerned about Cam.
"Do you want Cam to be alone?" Anna asked.
Young Allison wanted Savannah to set the assignments since she was on the ground in the danger zone. Savannah previously redeployed the four Terminators who arrived to back up Dan and Frank. She wanted everything done in a diplomatic fashion.
"No." Young Allison said. "Have Cam notify Cammy and Savannah she's returning. Savannah can make the decision where to place her or anyone else. If it's going to be a problem for Cammy, she should say something at the time."
Anna thought it was a wise decision. It was one John sometimes overlooked. She didn't think she always thought some of his decisions through.
"Do you want any direct input?" Anna asked.
Young Allison wasn't the one on the ground. She couldn't see everything the same as Savannah's teams could. She was still willing to bring any of the drones into gun range if they needed a precision strike against a specific target.
She didn't think there was enough in play yet for her to make any decisions or become involved directly. It very well could happen later on. It wouldn't be the first time. It certainly wouldn't be the last time.
"Not at this time." Young Allison said.
Anna felt the best way to handle it was through the normal channels.
"I'll ask John Henry to take care of it." Anna said.
Young Allison liked the idea. She wanted to keep John Henry in the loop as well. She didn't want him to feel left out if she needed to take a more aggressive stance.
"Thanks." Young Allison said.
Young Allison went over everything they knew so far. She still felt something was going to happen. The trouble was there was no indication what it would be or when. The whole thing could still be a sucker play to lure them out and identify the Resistance team as targets.
Whatever it was, it seemed it was far from over. They didn't have a clue where anything was headed yet. It seemed to be pretty standard for most operations. They would need to play it by ear and see what targets identified themselves. Right now they were pretty much in the dark. They weren't sure if any of their teams were targeted specifically or not.
She really didn't want to find out the hard way either. She would need to go over all the information and data again.
Closing monologue by Cameron:
I Love You
We both know it
I know we both do
You love me
I love you
No matter how you hurt my feelings
As away at them you chop and hew
I remain firm and steady
I love you
It seems sometimes
You forget what you once knew
I'm still here
I love you
I've been loyal
I've been true
I've always been there
I love you
Please open your heart
It is long overdue
You love me
I love you
Nobody
