Dean had started working at the Prophet during September 2017, replacing Wilfried "Freddy" Cox, the previous cartoonist who had retired. He had recently returned to England from Norway and was looking for a new job, and the position at the prestigious newspaper was like a godsend to him.

While touring the offices Bob, the senior editor of the newspaper, he saw her again. Ginny Weasley. Or as she was now known, Ginny Potter.

She was 36, but he could immediately recognise her. Flaming red hair, as was common in her family, pale and freckled skin, as well as a petite stature. She of course looked older than the teenager she had been so long ago, but she was still stunning.

It took a day for notice him at the office and remember who he had been. They hadn't spoken much after the war. Dean had move abroad and they only had a met on a few DA-reunions. He was still handsome, with his strong frame, broad shoulders, dark skin and curly hair.

The quickly chatted at the end of the day, talking how it felt weird to meet again after such a long time, and she congratulated him for starting to work at the office.

He still smitten with her, old memories of Hogwarts resurfacing always when he saw her.

Ginny also felt a strange sense of longing for fight year after that day, including when she was eating with her husband Harry and daughter Lily at her home that very evening.

"Everything all right, hon?" He asked, while noticing that her thoughts were something else.

"Yeah" she replied, not sure how reply to him. She felt ashamed thinking about another man while being with her family.

But she couldn't help it either…

I'm going slowly and shortly so far, but plan on writing longer chapters in the future!
