Chapter 1190
Double Finish
Sheila, Ally, and Hanna were up on the stage behind the curtain. They were in the smaller theater at the rear of deck seven.
They were there because Sheila wanted to knock off a quickie.
Sheila thought it was secluded enough they could pull it off.
Ally and Hanna were both against the idea and thought it was too risky.
Hanna heard a noise. It sounded like trouble.
"Quiet." Hanna said. "Someone's coming."
Sheila couldn't resist the pun.
"I wish it was me." Sheila said.
They heard the door they entered from open. Someone was definitely there. They were only seconds away from being discovered.
Sheila was a little worried at this point. It seemed like a good time to make an exit or at least hide.
They could determine the nature of the threat and if any terminations were necessary. It was possible it was an inebriated passenger who watched them go in the stage door and decided they wanted a little bit 'more' from them. It was bound to produce a very negative reaction from all of them.
"Quickly, let's go over this way." Sheila said. "Let's see who we need to terminate."
Hanna and Ally looked at each other with Sheila's proclamation. They both knew a bad idea when they heard it.
"Let's hope not." Ally said. "We don't need any trouble."
Hanna could see another problem.
"What are we going to do with the body if we do?" Hanna asked.
The three Metal girls headed for the far side of the stage. There was a door on the other side too.
There was a secondary curtain which was open. They hid behind the compressed part.
It wasn't as bad as they thought. Then again it might turn out to be.
They watched Bob enter and come up on the stage. He headed straight for them.
Bob scanned the area as he entered. He detected three heat signatures behind a large curtain.
"I see everything." Bob said. "Do you three think you're the Wizard of Oz or something? I already know what's behind the curtain."
It wasn't who they thought it would be. If they would have known it was going to be another Terminator, they would have exited out of the other door which led to the back of the stage. They would have tried to make a break for it.
It was clear Bob already knew where they were. The three girls came out into the open.
"Hi, Bob." Ally and Hanna said.
Sheila frowned and didn't say anything.
Bob didn't like them in a restricted area. He suspected foul play. He needed to do a double take of Ally. He actually thought it was Cameron at first.
"Hello." Bob said. "What's going on here?"
Sheila responded sarcastically.
"It's nice to see you too." Sheila said.
Ally didn't want any trouble. They hadn't actually done anything risqué. They probably were thirty seconds away from getting started. It would have been very risqué.
"We were just hanging out." Ally said. "It's no big deal."
Bob tracked all the negative reports he received from incidents which occurred around various parts of the ship and determined they were all about Sheila.
"I keep getting reports about Sheila from different places around the ship." Bob said. "I know it's her by the description. I didn't even need to review the security footage."
Bob came across reports of Sheila's distinctive jewelry placement. He actually thought it was an effective strategy because no one remembered her face. Last thing he needed was for someone to identify her as a member of the crew gone rogue.
Sheila didn't think she did anything wrong. She actually thought she was well behaved so far.
"I'm just trying to have a little fun." Sheila said. "I like to express myself."
Bob wanted to give Sheila a warning.
"You'd better stay out of the casino, at least until tomorrow." Bob said. "I have reports of lewd or vulgar conduct outside of this theater and in the sky lounge."
Sheila looked at Ally and Hanna for a second. She looked back at Bob. She didn't like being told what she could or couldn't do.
"Here, I'm making another episode to report right now." Sheila said. "One of you can 'report' it to Bob."
Sheila hiked her dress up past her waist. Everything was on display.
Bob took it all in. He was on the ship to do a job. He didn't need his own team working against him.
"Impressive." Bob said. "Now cover yourself and stay covered."
Ally didn't want any trouble.
"We'll try and restrain her." Ally said.
Sheila did want some trouble. A little action livened things up some.
"Good luck." Sheila said. "I do what I want, when I want to do it. Nobody can stop me."
Bob tried to warn Sheila one last time. He told her once Cameron found out about everything, it would be out of his hands. He strongly doubted Sheila would like her new duty assignment. He figured he should try to make things as clear as possible.
"If Cameron gets wind of this, you're headed straight to dish washing." Bob said. "She already told me."
Hanna wanted to assist Sheila with her duties, but it only went so far.
"I'll help you take care of the suites, but I'm not washing dishes." Hanna said. "You're on your own if you end up there."
Ally wasn't about to head to the galley either if it was Sheila's new assignment.
"I'm out too." Ally said. "Don't dig your own grave."
Hanna and Ally were both a little worried if they helped Sheila with her dish washing duties, she might skate out on them, and they would be stuck doing it while she went off elsewhere.
Sheila didn't want to be a problem. She was trying to take her mind off of something else. She believed some of her actions were done involuntarily. It wasn't something she really wanted to talk about. She didn't want to be blamed for things she couldn't really control.
"OK, Bob." Sheila said. "I've been a little worried."
Bob wondered what worried a Terminator on a ship at sea. The threat level was at zero. He now began to wonder if there was some other type of problem which might develop. He was aware of the various episodes Cameron experienced. He wanted to know what the nature of the issue would be.
"What are you worried about?" Bob asked. "Is there something I need to alert anyone else about? When I'm on board the ship in this position, I'm responsible for the safety of our team, as well as the passengers of the ship along with its crew."
Sheila looked at Ally, Hanna, and Bob. She paused for a moment. She told it straight.
"Cameron wants to use my chassis tonight." Sheila said.
It seemed illogical to Bob. Cameron's chassis was currently undamaged. He just saw her a short time ago in the buffet area. He could see Ally look nearly identical to Cameron right now. What would Sheila need to be involved with and why?
"What does she need to use it for?" Bob asked.
Ally didn't want to have to spell it out. She didn't agree with the idea.
"You can bet it won't be to wash dishes." Ally said.
Sheila made it clear. Her face was devoid of all emotion. It was unusual for her.
"Cameron wants my chassis for John to 'use' with her chip in it." Sheila said. "Cameron is going to give my virginity to John."
It didn't seem like an issue to Bob. It seemed like a bunch of hoopla about nothing.
"You are your program." Bob said. "It won't be you."
Hanna wasn't so thrilled either.
"Cameron is going to use all of our chassis on the cruise." Hanna said. "She's going to allow John to take our virginity with her in control of our chassis. All of our first experiences with a male won't be our own. They will all belong to Cameron. She's going to take something from our chassis which can only be taken once."
It sounded like John would have a good time to Bob. It seemed like the General was going to have a better Honeymoon Cruise than he anticipated.
"John is a lucky man then." Bob said. "You should consider it an honor Cameron has chosen your chassis for John. Everyone sacrifices for John Connor."
Ally didn't see it the same way.
"How would you feel, if it was you?" Ally asked.
Bob figured it would happen. It was simple mathematics.
"It will be." Bob said. "Cameron will use both Jim and my chassis too. There are seven nights. There are five female Terminators and two male Terminators. It works out perfectly."
Ally didn't believe Bob wasn't troubled with the concept.
"Aren't you bothered by it?" Ally asked. "Is it how you want your chassis used?"
Bob was aware Cameron was well acquainted with his chassis and Jim's chassis. There were copies of her program in both of them. He didn't possess those files. It made him wonder a little bit what may have gone on during the time period. He knew without any facts it was pointless to speculate about it. All he could state was what he knew.
"There was a copy of Cameron's program in this chassis for months in the alternate future." Bob said. "There was a copy of her program in Jim's chassis as well. It's no big deal. If anything actually happened with anyone, I have no knowledge of it. It wasn't me. It wasn't my program."
Hanna thought the circumstances were different.
"Cameron wasn't having relations with John back then was she?" Hanna asked.
Bob wasn't aware of it. He really didn't know for sure. There were a lot of things Cameron could have done on her own with others. He doubted it.
"No." Bob said. "I don't believe so. I can't give a conclusively positive answer."
Hanna and the girls thought their chassis 'first experience' with a male should be their own with them in control. It seemed fair to her. What Cameron wanted seemed unfair. There could only be one 'first experience'.
"We're personally attached to our chassis and appearances at this point." Hanna said. "We all thought our 'first experience' with a male should be one we would be in control of. We should be able to have a choice as to what happens with our own chassis. It's common decency as much as it is fairness."
It sounded like a programming flaw to Bob. He didn't want to go against Cameron's decisions.
"Cameron knows what's best." Bob said. "You must all follow the rules."
Sheila didn't see Bob volunteering. She thought he could trade with her for Cameron's first chassis theft. She didn't think it was anything more than theft either. Cameron wanted to steal something from each of them which was precious to them.
"Then you can go first." Sheila said. "You can have the 'honor'."
Bob would mention the concern of the girls to Cameron. He didn't think it would matter. She was going to do what she planned. There were only two people who could stop her. They may not want to deny Cameron her desire. He really didn't know what they would do.
Wait.
He did know what they would do. Savannah would step up and volunteer to be with John in place of Cameron using the Metal girl's chassis. He believed Young Allison would do the same. It made him wonder if it might be Cameron's 'end game'. If one of the Metal girls were to call Savannah tonight or tomorrow morning, she could be on the plane with Jesse and Claire. He didn't know if he should point it out or not. All he could give them now was his direct advice.
"I'll mention to Cameron you want your program to be the first in your chassis to have relations with a male." Bob said. "One of you needs to call Savannah or Young Allison if you want things stopped. They can help you. There's a moral issue here. They'll understand. We all know they're the only ones who can stop it. I think we all know what they will do instead. Is it what any of you want to put them through?"
Ally doubted the girls would go against Cameron. They wouldn't tell her what she could or couldn't do. They probably would offer her an alternative instead, themselves.
"Terminators aren't known for morality." Ally said. "The girls won't want to get involved in this decision. It's of a personal nature. I don't believe they'll stand back and do nothing either."
Bob thought they should try. They could express their concerns to Young Allison and Savannah and tell them what they didn't want to happen either in lieu of them submitting to Cameron's desires.
"It's why Cameron may listen to Savannah and Young Allison." Bob said. "They provide her with morality and humanity. They help her with compassion and empathy. I strongly doubt they will stand by and watch someone else need to submit to something they wouldn't want to submit to themselves first."
Sheila wondered where his information came from.
"How do you know what will or won't happen?" Sheila asked.
Bob saw it first hand.
"Ask Hanna or Holly. They were in Cameron's future with me. We all saw it, even if it was at different times. I saw it." Bob said. "It may have been the future girls but it's the same thing. They all started out as the same individuals."
Hanna did witness the 'Natural Order' of Cameron's future with her program in Holly.
"He's right." Hanna said. "It was the role of Future Savannah and Future Allison. They not only helped Duplicate Cameron with those very issues, they helped Future John too. He needed a lot of help."
Bob told them what he witnessed.
"Future Savannah acted as the bedrock for all of them." Bob said. "She was the one who reeled them all in and laid down the groundwork for a better future. She's the one who enlisted the aid of Future Allison and Duplicate Cameron to make sure it happened. Future Allison kept Future John in check while Duplicate Cameron made sure Future Savannah's reforms were enacted and carried out. It greatly stabilized the future."
It was clear to Sheila now.
"The 'Chosen One'…." Sheila said. "OK, Bob, no more trouble."
Sheila figured it was worth a try. She didn't expect the girls to 'order' Cameron to reconsider or stop. They would make their wishes clear and the rest would be up to Cameron. It didn't look promising. The 'Chosen Ones' were sparing with 'orders' and not inclined to get involved in personal issues.
She thought about it a little further and wondered if her call would prompt Savannah to act on her own in her place. She knew it was going to happen eventually for Savannah anyway. She didn't want to be the one who forced it to happen now. She felt a little guilt on her part. It was a feeling she didn't often experience. She didn't feel guilty about very many of her actions over the years. She never felt guilty about a brutal termination either. Anything she did to the enemy or a perpetrator before they were terminated never bothered her. It often actually excited her.
There seemed to be a lot of different feelings she experienced now. They weren't normal feelings for her. It really made her wonder what exactly she was feeling. She felt 'feelings' were very disturbing. She was aware Cameron was much more advanced than her with feelings and emotions. She could see why Cameron was so messed up at times if she let her feelings or emotions get the best of her. She wasn't really sure there was a way to control them. She attempted to do so. Maybe all of her actions were because of her inability to control those feelings.
Bob wondered if maybe he should encourage Cameron to bring a couple more Metal girls on board the ship. Since the cruise was seven days long he would like to make sure there were seven Metal girls. He didn't really want what Sheila, Ally, and Hanna indicated. If he could get one more Metal girl on the ship even, it would reduce his chances by fifty percent of being involved in any such activity.
Kyle and Sarah were outside on the open deck of the ship.
The wind picked up considerably once they came around from the rear of the ship. The superstructure no longer blocked the ocean breeze. The temperature seemed to get much cooler.
Kyle could tell it was a little brisk for Sarah. He started her along to finish their trek around the rear of the ship to head around to the front side of the rear theater from the opposite side. It wasn't too far of a distance.
He took one last look back.
"I can see by the wake the ship's turning a little bit." Kyle said.
Sarah looked back to see.
"I see it too." Sarah said.
Kyle didn't want Sarah out in the cold. The only thing she wore was the dress with nothing else underneath it. He could see the 'headlights' were on now from the cool air.
"We can come back here in the daylight." Kyle said. "We still have a lot of things to see."
Sarah wanted to see some more of the things on the ship too.
"Maybe we can do it." Sarah said. "We can finish seeing some more of the ship and maybe go back to our suite…."
It sounded like an even better plan to Kyle. Their bed was waiting for them in their suite. It would be nice and warm there. Things were bound to heat up once they were in it
"We can do whatever you want." Kyle said.
Sarah knew their 'freedom' would be restricted some tomorrow when Jan arrived.
"We'll see Jan tomorrow." Sarah said.
Kyle wanted to allow Jan some independence.
"I miss her too." Kyle said. "We need to leave her some room to grow."
Sarah felt it was being addressed. They did receive outside help for a lot of things. It was everything from training to education.
"Our Terminators help her out." Sarah said. "They take her sometimes without us for training. I know they call it different things for different occasions, but it's all really training."
Kyle saw Cameron always left an open door for Sarah. The door was open to him as well.
"Cameron always gives us the option to go." Kyle said.
There was another option Cameron left open to them about where and when they could go. It was always a controversial subject between Sarah and him. They could go into the past. It was something Sarah was opposed to. It would entail leaving John behind. Would they choose one child over another? Didn't they have an obligation to protect one of them? It always turned into a contentious subject. He would like for Jan to grow up in a 'normal' environment. He knew it was what Sarah tried for John. They could go further into the past with Jan and avoid the entire Skynet issue. Now wasn't the time to bring it up.
Sarah wanted her daughter to be strong. They might not always be around for her. Things happen. Skynet could still happen. They could both die. She needed to think about how she 'died' in 2005. It was a thought seldom in the back of her mind. She always tried to push it out of her thoughts. It always seemed to work its way to the front. If it already happened once, what was to prevent it from happening again?
"I may not always be there…." Sarah said. "WE may not always be there for Jan."
Kyle felt the Terminators would do everything possible to protect their daughter and their son. He saw most of the Terminators in action on multiple occasions. He was very aware of how both Derek and he were protected by them. It was more than protection. There were times when the Resistance Terminators took damage for them which would have killed them. It usually resulted in severe damage to the Terminator. He knew the resistance Terminators could always be counted on.
"Jan will always be protected." Kyle said.
Sarah knew the only absolute in life was death. Skynet or its various offshoots always seemed to pop back up like some creepy for real 'Jack in the box'.
"We don't know it for sure." Sarah said. "Things change. Things happen."
Sarah felt she possessed plenty of first hand experience in that regard.
They were fully around to the other side now. The wind was a little stronger and even colder.
Kyle wanted to give Sarah a couple of options. He hoped to stress one over the other.
"We can continue along the side all the way to the front." Kyle said. "We can go back inside here too as well."
Sarah felt a little chilled and it wasn't just the cool wind.
"Maybe we should just go in for now." Sarah said.
Kyle and Sarah both needed to reflect some on what they discussed. Thinking of a Skynet future was always depressing. It was something they both worked hard to prevent. Neither one of them was sure it was preventable at this point in time. There wasn't just one Skynet to keep down. There was more than one version from different futures they needed to deal with as well.
It didn't seem like a fair fight at times based on the nature of the opponent. They did seem to have one ace up their sleeve. It was Cameron. She was the one who led the fight. She was the one who took the brunt of the damage. She was the one who let Skynet know who its true enemy was.
Sarah knew Cameron did it to take the heat off John and her. If the heat was off of her, it didn't fall on Kyle or Jan either. Cameron went out of her way to protect John and his family. She thought about where they were and what she experienced so far in the last few hours since she arrived on the ship. It wasn't just John's family Cameron protected. It was clear Cameron protected her family. It included her. It was a very sobering thought.
Gail glanced over at the churning wake of the ship. She couldn't help but think about the older couple as well as the disrespectful individual in the buffet. There was more than one way to deal with a problem. She smiled to herself.
She followed Sarah and Kyle around the back of the ship and watched them go inside. She hurried back around the way she came and entered the lobby area in front of the rear theater. Kyle and Sarah were milling about as they decided what to do next. She chose to hang back and watch. She didn't want to intrude on them. She also kept an eye out for the older couple and the passenger who disrespected Cameron in the buffet. She knew problems seldom went away on their own. She looked at the door to the outside. She smiled to herself again.
Derek and Riley were on the Promenade deck. They were near the location of their muster station.
"Do you really want to get lasagna at…" Riley started to ask as she looked at the name on the sign over the Italian restaurant. "…at Tony's?"
Derek wanted to try it. So far all of the food on the ship was excellent. He hoped it was like homemade lasagna. He remembered when his mother used to make it. J-Day changed everything.
"I'd like to give it a go." Derek said.
Riley looked over to where Derek looked behind her. Holly was in the background. She wondered if Derek was talking about Holly now.
"I'm talking about the food." Riley said.
Derek looked confused. He wondered what Riley thought he was talking about.
"So was I." Derek said.
Riley wondered if she'd jumped to conclusions. Maybe she was projecting. She wanted to give Holly a 'go' before and still did. She was really close to 'taking' Holly before. It never happened.
"OK, Derek." Riley said.
Riley thought about Precious, but tried to keep it on the back burner.
"We can go back and watch the band if you want." Derek said. "We can look around some more or we can head back to our suite."
Riley smiled. She looked forward to her surprise for Derek later on with the modified maid's outfit. She didn't think they needed to get back to the room too early. Derek was only good for so many times before nothing would happen no matter what she did. She figured they might as well spend the time now doing something else instead of waiting for Derek to 'recharge' later on. She figured he could recharge when they were asleep. If they woke up a few times during the night, she would take advantage of it.
"I want you to be happy." Riley said. "We can hit Tony's or look around some more and head back to our suite afterwards."
Derek wanted to have the best of both worlds.
"I'm in." Derek said with a smile.
'You will be.' Riley thought.
"Let me tell Holly so she can do something else if she wants to for a while." Riley said.
Riley drifted over towards Holly.
Holly already listened to the entire conversation. Savannah taught them not to retain any personal information in conversations they heard unless they were a part of it.
She wasn't surprised when Riley came in her direction. Riley briefly spoke to her and filled her in. She didn't tell Riley she already heard. Most of the conversation would be erased as soon as Derek and Riley entered the eatery. Whatever Riley mentioned to her wouldn't be.
Riley thanked her and started to walk away.
Holly pondered several options available to her. She wasn't going to say anything at first. It seemed prudent at this point.
"Riley." Holly said.
Riley turned around and looked at Holly.
"Yes?" Riley asked.
Holly wanted to keep it simple.
"I can contact John Henry for you and give you a report on Precious when you're done in Tony's." Holly said. "I can try to make it so it's something you don't need to directly worry about. Maybe you would feel more comfortable if I did the footwork."
Riley's face lit up. She hoped to be able to get more information this way without needing to ask herself. She didn't want to seem overbearing.
"Would you?" Riley asked.
Holly wanted to let Riley know it was personal to her as well.
"I will." Holly said. "There are people I miss too."
Riley looked at Holly. Now she felt guilty about wanting to hit on Holly still. Holly missed her lover too. Allison wouldn't arrive tomorrow with the others.
"I guess there are." Riley said.
Riley turned to find Derek. Life was complicated.
It reaffirmed what she believed about Terminators. Well, their Terminators anyway. They were just like real people most of the time. She also knew they were stone cold killers when they needed to be. They would follow their programming in most regards. They also expanded beyond their programming in other regards. She really wondered where her life would be right now if Holly responded to her all those years ago. She figured it didn't really matter. She was about to find Derek and try some lasagna.
Life was good in Paradise.
Cameron finished pointing out all of the major constellations and stars to John.
John was more than a little overwhelmed with all of the information. He actually heard it all more than a few times when he was out with Cameron at night. He just didn't retain all of it. It really was a lot to take in.
"Wow." John said. "I'm not going to remember a tenth of it."
Cameron figured she would need to tell John again. She didn't mind doing it. She could tell John was getting cold. They weren't directly in the wind where they were at, but the temperature was noticeably cooler.
"If you want to finish watching the Rockabilly Trio, we need to start back." Cameron said. "Your body temperature has fallen by several degrees as well."
John touched his arms.
"It is a little chilly out here." John said.
Cameron took John's arm and led him to the very front of the covered bow. There was a way to give John what he wanted one deck lower than the open deck above them. There was nothing in front of them but the ocean right now.
"I think the world can use a new 'King'." Cameron said.
John smiled at Cameron.
It was something he wanted to do just for the fun of it.
John moved Cameron in front of him and outstretched his arms out to his sides and up.
"I'm the King of the world…." John shouted.
Cameron turned around and faced John. She wanted to let him know how prophetic his statement was, even if it was made somewhat in jest. He didn't know how true his words were.
"You're the future leader of mankind." Cameron said. "I think it's actually the same thing. Everyone will depend upon you."
John thought back on what his mother told him ever since he could remember. It made him wonder about the words he just shouted. Was the 'King of the world' really the same as 'the future leader of mankind'? Was it his desire to re-enact what he watched in a movie, or was it his inner calling trying to reach out? Maybe they were one in the same. He would prefer if they could prevent events from occurring which would necessitate such a position on his part.
"Maybe, Cameron, maybe, I really don't know." John said. "I honestly hope it doesn't come to it."
Cameron believed it would become true at some point. They were able to stay ahead of Skynet so far. She didn't know how much longer they would be able to do so. It made her wonder if she should be on the ship right now with John. She trusted Savannah, Cammy, and Cam to keep things under control for a week.
The wind noticeably picked up.
Cameron took John's arm and moved him to her side and next to the superstructure. She used her chassis to shield him from as much wind as she could. There were doors on deck eight where they were at which would lead inside of the superstructure. Technically they were for the crew only to use. Deck eight was mainly obstructed view window cabins. The lifeboats were next to the superstructure as they rested in their davits above deck seven. She wanted John to see more of what was happening inside of the ship. They went down the little stairway back to deck seven. They headed back for the first door which would lead them inside. She would be able to take him to the rear of the ship as they passed by everything inside the Promenade deck.
"In here, John." Cameron said.
John held the door for Cameron.
The temperature increased dramatically as they entered the door.
John knew exactly where they were. He could hear music playing faintly next to them.
"I didn't realize how cool it was outside." John said. "We're right by the main theater."
She could offer John a choice of 'private boxes'. It would be up to him to choose.
"We can go back to our private box in the theater." Cameron said. "The second performance is underway."
John wanted Cameron to have a good time. He wanted to do what she wanted to do.
"I don't know." John said.
Cameron offered John more choices.
"We can go back and watch the Rockabilly Trio or look around." Cameron said. "There are specialty restaurants, and there is always the buffet."
It was clear there were many options. He didn't think Cameron needed to watch him eat again.
"There's a lot to do." John said.
Cameron offered one. It was one deck below them.
"We can go to the casino." Cameron said.
John wasn't so sure about going to the casino. He thought back on the last time he was in a casino. It was in Las Vegas. He thought he would be able to do some gambling just for the fun of it. Events played out in a different way than he planned. A lot of events played out differently than he even imagined. Maybe the casino wasn't the place to go.
"I don't know if I feel lucky." John said.
Cameron gave him another option. She knew one place where he could feel lucky.
"There's always our suite too." Cameron said.
It seemed like a guaranteed win to John. He knew a 'jackpot' when he heard it.
"NOW I feel lucky." John said.
Cameron wanted John to hit the 'jackpot' tonight as many times as he wanted.
"Luck isn't necessary in our bed." Cameron said. "A sure 'win' is guaranteed."
Cameron planned to up the ante with Sheila's chassis. She wanted the experience even more than John did. She wanted to be someone different and to be able to get away from it all. She wanted to reset her files like she often did. The difference this time would be, it would be her 'first time' for real.
Earlier:
John Henry watched Cammy's movements. He thought she was going to visit Jesse and Claire. He wasn't sure why she entered through Summer's room. Cammy was in there longer than he thought she would be if she just checked on Summer. Maybe she slipped in and joined with Claire and Jesse.
Later on Cammy slipped out of Summer's room and headed for the Command Center. He would have expected her to exit through Claire's door instead of Summer's door.
It made him wonder if she even went into Claire's room. Maybe she stayed to help Summer with something. Jan was in there as well. He wasn't sure at all of what Cammy may have done inside there.
He decided to make sure he was updated on everything before she arrived. She was almost to the Command Center.
Cammy walked in the doorway.
"Hello, I'd like a report." Cammy said.
John Henry filled her in. There was no new information.
Cammy was pleased to hear it. She might not need to go back out tonight. There was something else she wanted to know. She decided just to ask.
"What's happening on the ship?" Cammy asked.
John Henry filled her in.
The call from Holly for Riley bothered her.
"How long ago did Holly call?" Cammy asked.
"Moments before you arrived." John Henry said. "I told her there were no problems."
Cammy tilted her head slightly. She wondered how he knew. She wondered if he actually checked to verify the information.
"How do you know?" Cammy asked. "Did you check?"
John Henry tilted his head slightly. There hadn't been any reports to the contrary.
"No." John Henry said. "I wasn't made aware of any problems."
It seemed a little sloppy to Cammy.
"You need to know for sure if everything is OK." Cammy said. "Children are important to their parents."
John Henry thought no news was good news. He repeated his earlier summation.
"Vanna or Samantha didn't report any problems." John Henry said.
Cammy was well aware not reporting any, and there actually being problems someone didn't want to discuss or admit to, were two different things. It would also give her a reason to see if Vanna and Allison were busy.
"I'll check myself." Cammy said. "I'll get back to you about it."
Cammy went to leave.
John Henry wasn't so sure about the next bit of information.
"Bob is trying to contact Savannah." John Henry said. "She's currently unavailable."
Cammy turned around and went back into the Command Center. It seemed like a new problem. She was about to berate him for not mentioning the information before. She figured she should find out a little bit more first before she did.
"Is Cameron malfunctioning?" Cammy asked. "I told you before she should be deactivated. He wouldn't call unless there was a problem. You should have told me earlier."
John Henry was only aware of it now himself.
"It's something which just happened." John Henry said. "There was no 'earlier'."
Cammy was dissatisfied anyway.
"I need to know of any incident like this immediately." Cammy said.
John Henry was able to oblige her almost immediately.
"He's calling Young Allison now." John Henry said.
Cammy wanted to know more. It sounded like a bigger problem than she first thought if Young Allison was being drug into it. She wanted to find out what the problem was.
"I want to know about what." Cammy said. "I want to know what's happening."
John Henry was unable to determine anything. He wasn't exactly sure what Cammy thought she was going to be able to do about anything on the ship if she was in the Command Center at the Resistance base. He just encountered a new roadblock.
"CamNet is blocking it from me." John Henry said. "It must be of a personal nature."
Cammy needed more information and she needed it now.
"I want to see all the footage of our personnel on the ship for the last three hours." Cammy said.
John Henry felt there was a better way for her to find out for herself.
"You'll need to plug in for it." John Henry said.
Cammy moved to plug in.
"It will be quicker." Cammy said.
John Henry wanted to remind Cammy of her previous task. She hadn't completed it yet. He sensed there might be an opportunity for him to see a little more. He would have a plausible excuse this time.
"What about Precious?" John Henry asked. "You were going to follow up on how everything actually was."
Cammy looked in the direction of Riley's room and back at John Henry server.
"You go check it out while I review everything here." Cammy said. "This looks like a bigger problem."
Cammy wanted to get to the bottom of it. She was sure it was Cameron's fault whatever it was. She was very glad she wasn't like Cameron. She knew whenever she mentioned it to Savannah, it would always make her laugh. She was never sure why. She figured right now it didn't really matter. At least she wasn't a Bitch like Cameron was.
Savannah enjoyed the special treatment Cam provided her with.
Cam stimulated every square inch of her body with sensation.
Savannah waited with anticipation for the finish.
'Now for the gold….' Savannah thought.
Savannah was built up to a high state of arousal and ready for the finish at this point.
Cam personally turned Savannah's phone off earlier when she started in on Savannah. She didn't want any interruptions. She was glad Cammy hadn't returned yet.
They were both unaware Bob attempted to contact Savannah.
Cam started in for the finish. She could see and hear Savannah's breathing deepen. As she touched Savannah, she could feel her heartbeat racing. It was clear Savannah was close.
Savannah's response in turn motivated Cam even more. She intensified her efforts. Being able to see and feel Savannah's reaction stimulated her. She started to manually stimulate herself.
It was going to be a double finish.
Young Allison was just about ready for bed.
She was almost finished with everything in the bathroom.
Her phone started to ring.
It was unusual, especially at this time. A phone call this late couldn't be good news. She learned whenever there was a late night phone call; it was never a good phone call.
Anna appeared and knocked on her open door.
"Wait." Young Allison said.
Young Allison looked at her phone. She sucked in her breath and swallowed hard.
"It's Bob." Young Allison said. "There must be a problem with Cameron."
Young Allison took the call and listened to what Bob needed to say. He hesitated to go into specific detail.
Young Allison wasn't sure she wanted to become involved with the situation. Bob hadn't been specific, but he indicated enough to let her know what the subject matter was. It was something she knew about, but she lacked any first hand experience.
"You can't reach Savannah?" Young Allison asked.
Bob was still worried about the details.
"Savannah is currently unavailable. I know you're highly educated and intelligent." Bob said. "The specific subject matter may be inappropriate for you."
Young Allison felt she was ready for everything.
"I know quite a bit and have seen it all, even if I haven't done it myself." Young Allison said. "Tell me everything."
Anna heard enough and left.
Young Allison saw Anna leave after Bob started to explain what the problem was specifically. It meant she was going to have to decide what any action taken would be. Somehow it was now a test. It would be a test of her judgment and ability. It was a test she would prefer not to take. It wasn't cut and dried.
It was a moral judgment Young Allison needed to make on her own. She would need to call Cameron herself about it if she didn't agree with it.
Young Allison listened to Bob and thought about Allison's, Vanna's and Jesse's past. She felt Cameron's idea was unfair to the other Terminators both female and male. It was the most surprising segment of the conversation to hear there would be no sex discrimination for chassis usage.
Bob ended the call.
Young Allison made her decision. She was aware of what Cameron wanted and what John would want. There were probably going to be a few individuals who weren't going to like her decision.
She looked down at herself and imagined turning her body over to someone else and then them returning it back to her 'used'.
She wanted some additional input. She wanted someone to reaffirm her decision. She knew there were some decisions where it would be beneficial to have the input of more than one individual. Based upon the nature of the subject matter she really would like to get a second opinion herself. She would try and reach Savannah first.
Closing monologue by Cameron:
Double Finish
Is it about the victory
Is it about the chase
Maybe for some people
It's about saving face
Victories should be sweet
Not all of them are
Maybe it's the reason
One never seems to go far
Maybe to feel victorious
One needs to go on a quest
Perhaps it's really all about
Just another type of test
Maybe it's through defeat
One will actually grow
They need to regroup
It can be fast or slow
Time erodes the past
Importance tends to diminish
Once is never good enough
Everything needs a double finish
Nobody
