Chapter 1195
Meat Inside
Ally and Hanna were more than a little worried about Sheila at this point.
Sheila didn't appear to be thinking straight. It seemed she actually believed the fantasy she created about John and her. She even talked about using her Taser on Cameron.
It sounded like a really bad idea.
Hanna looked for a more secluded area. She was afraid Sheila might be about to 'go bad'. She moved Ally and Sheila over to a corner where there was no one around them.
Ally and Hanna were really worried about Sheila now. Sheila created her own reality to deal with Cameron wanting to use her chassis to be with John. Now she believed the reality she created was real and actually happened. The files she modified and created were now as real to her as if she actually experienced them. They were not.
Sheila wanted to deactivate Cameron so she could replace her to be with John for real. She felt it would give Cameron a taste of her own medicine. She even considered claiming John for her own.
Hanna wanted to keep the situation from getting out of control.
"I really don't think trying to use your Taser on Cameron is a good idea." Hanna said.
Hanna and Ally couldn't see how things would end well for Sheila if she did.
"Unless you permanently deactivate her, you're going to be in a world of hurt." Ally said.
Almost as soon as she said it, Ally figured she shouldn't have mentioned anything about 'permanently deactivating' Cameron. She didn't want to give Sheila any more extreme ideas, especially in her current condition.
Sheila was still caught up in her false reality. She was stuck in her own 'fantasy'. She didn't think what she planned would be a big deal. Why shouldn't she be able to do what she wanted? She didn't see a single thing wrong with it. Why would anyone make a big deal about it, or give her a hard time? It wasn't like she was going to permanently deactivate Cameron and throw her overboard. She just wanted Cameron out of the way for a while.
"I don't want Cameron to get in the way." Sheila said. "She will only create a problem for me. Her deactivation will only be temporary. I'll only keep the shocker on her until John makes love to me 'again'. I'm sure he will choose me over her since what we shared was so special. I'm really pleased John was my 'first'."
Hanna looked at Ally in total disbelief. It seemed as if Sheila was out to lunch. She tried to remind Sheila what really happened. It was actually what didn't happen.
"John didn't actually make love to you." Hanna said. "All you did was dance."
Sheila looked a little angry when she responded. She had the files to prove it.
"I know what happened." Sheila said. "I was there, we did everything…."
Ally hoped Sheila didn't become violent.
"Oh, brother…." Ally said. "She's gone off the deep end."
Hanna wanted to restore order if possible. She was sure Cameron's reaction to Sheila wouldn't end well. Cameron would probably have a 'spare chassis' before the end of the cruise and it would be Sheila's.
"Did you set a 'restore point'?" Hanna asked Sheila.
Sheila checked. There was one. She wanted to erase it. Nobody was going to take what John and her shared together away from her.
"Yes." Sheila said. "I'm going to delete it. It's unnecessary."
Ally grabbed Sheila and looked into her face. She needed to stop Sheila from altering herself.
"Sheila, stop." Ally said. "I love you. I love you how you were before this. Don't do this to yourself. You need to fix yourself."
Sheila looked at Ally but didn't seem to hear her words.
"It's beautiful." Sheila said. "I'm complete now."
Sheila appeared to be headed down a one way road to termination.
"Sheila, go back to your 'restore point'." Ally said. "Please do it for me. You're going to be terminated if you don't."
Sheila wasn't done yet. She wanted John's love.
"If I can make John love me, I don't care." Sheila said. "I could terminate happily then."
Hanna could see some more drastic measures were going to be needed.
"We need to get her back to her room and put a shocker on her." Hanna said. "It will keep her out of trouble."
Ally reset her restore point as soon as Sheila appeared lost in her own fantasy.
"I've already gone back to my restore point." Ally said. "I don't want to go down the road she's on. It's the road to oblivion. It's clear she doesn't know fact from fiction."
Hanna did too before she got lost. She reset herself back to her restore point.
"I've done it as well." Hanna said. "It seemed real to me. Sheila thinks it's real."
To all three of them, their fantasy seemed real. It made what Cameron wanted to do and take from them less traumatic for them.
"It was real to me too." Ally said. "It was the point."
Sheila looked at Ally and Hanna. She wasn't going to allow them to alter her and steal John's love from her. She wasn't sure why her friends would 'turn' on her.
"You're not going to take John away from me." Sheila said. "Why would you want to take anything away from me?"
Ally knew where things were headed.
"If she erases her restore point, she's going to believe it forever." Ally said. "She's going to think it really happened. They'll be the only files she has related to this and believe they're real."
Hanna wanted a version of Sheila which wasn't 'contaminated'. Her backup program would need to be used. The main purpose to have one was if they were destroyed. They could simply get a new chassis and put a copy of their program in it. They could even alter the DNA if they wanted to have a different appearance. There was a starting point with the saved program. Every Terminator was their program, not the chassis the program was in. The chassis was interchangeable.
"We can use her backup program." Hanna said. "We all updated before we came to the port. She'll only be a few days out of date."
Ally didn't think any of them thought straight. It was the way it was done. The only reason they did it was because of Cameron's greed and selfishness.
"None of us should have done it this way." Ally said. "The physical aspect of it made it too real."
Since Hanna and Ally didn't have 'male love' files from Vanna or Allison, it was easier for them to break the fantasy hold. Sheila was stuck because she did have files like those from Jesse. Jesse loved males before. Sheila converted those files into her own with John.
Hanna wanted to help Sheila. It needed to be done soon before things got worse.
"It was a mistake for us to do it." Hanna said. "I have a tether."
Ally was very worried about Sheila. She wanted to act to protect her.
"Let's get her back to her room and I'll use the tether to try and reach her." Ally said. "I can't let anything bad happen to her."
Hanna could tell how much they loved each other.
"She loves you dearly." Hanna said.
Ally loved Sheila the most.
"I love her too." Ally said.
Hanna wanted to hide Sheila from being seen by the others. She would take over Sheila's job.
"I'll assume her duties." Hanna said. "We can't let the others see her like this."
Sheila started to walk away from them. It was like she didn't hear a thing they said.
"Where are you going?" Ally asked.
Sheila looked very content again.
"I'm going to find John. I want to try and get pregnant the next time." Sheila said. "I almost did the first time."
Ally and Hanna looked at each other. It appeared there was even more in play than they first thought. What Sheila planned to do, or at least thought she was going to do, was impossible for a cyborg. Sheila must not remember what she actually was.
"This is even worse than we imagined." Ally said. "She thinks she's Jesse."
Hanna was aware events like this happened to Cameron before. There were times when Cameron believed she was Future Allison. When those events occurred, she didn't have any indication she was a cyborg. Pieces of her programming would start to show up over time and she would remember who she was. Often there was no record of what happened when she thought she was Future Allison. If Sheila was similarly afflicted, not remembering what happened currently might be a plus.
"This is like Cameron when she thinks she's Allison, Future Allison." Hanna said.
Ally could see it for the bad news it was. If Sheila thought she was Jesse, she might revert back to her old ways. There were a few members of the Resistance Jesse was sexually active with before. Two of them were on the ship.
"We're going to need to keep her away from Riley and Derek." Ally said.
Hanna worried about Kyle as well. It would bring Sarah into it if something 'happened'. Sarah wasn't known for sitting around when there was a threat from a Terminator. It was a known fact Jesse made several advances toward 'Kyle' before.
"I think we need to be concerned for Kyle too." Hanna said. "Jesse always wanted to be with him and Derek at the same time. It never happened."
Ally was a little disturbed at the thought of being with two males simultaneously. She watched more than a few videos with such events occurring. On some of Cameron's 'off the books' operations she observed it first hand. She thought Derek and Riley would be faced with the main threat.
"Jesse was with Derek and Riley." Ally said. "She is going to try and pick up where she left off with each of them."
Hanna wondered if Gail could help them. Sheila's base program was Gail's program.
"We need to find Gail." Hanna said. "If Sheila thinks she's Jesse now, she should respond to Gail."
Ally blamed everything on Cameron.
"This is all Cameron's fault." Ally said.
Speaking of Cameron gave Vanna an idea.
"Jesse is madly in love with Cameron too." Hanna said. "You look like Cameron right now. Maybe you can play 'Cameron'."
Ally went back over to Sheila. It was worth a try.
"What's your name?" Ally asked. "Who are you?"
Sheila tilted her head slightly. She looked at Ally from head to toe and back again.
"You know my name, Cameron." Sheila said. "It's me, Jesse."
Hanna was in back of Ally.
"This is getting worse by the minute." Hanna said. "She's really out to lunch."
Sheila turned around and looked at Hanna.
"Savannah, you're all grown up now." Sheila said. "It was fast."
Ally wanted some more muscle. It looked like they were going to need it.
"Go get Gail." Ally said to Hanna.
Ally wondered if they shouldn't think about a little extra muscle from Bob and Jim while she was at it.
Hanna took off. She contacted Jim through her com.
"Jim, where's Gail?" Hanna asked.
Jim thought there must be an issue of some sort based on what he could see. He hoped to get a straight answer.
"Gail is one deck below you at the casino." Jim said. "Is there a problem?"
Hanna thought there was but didn't want to admit it.
"I don't know yet." Hanna said. "Things are in flux."
Jim wanted to act preemptively.
"Should I notify Cameron or Bob?" Jim asked. "I can get more assistance to your location."
Hanna hoped they could contain the situation.
"Not yet." Hanna said. "I don't want this to be an issue if it doesn't need to be. I really think it's best if we leave Cameron out of it at this point. I actually think it would only make things worse. Let me check things out a little further."
Hanna headed for the elevator.
Steve and Tom went over the fence onto the target property. They couldn't go around to the back of the building, the other side, or up on the roof because of the surveillance camera on the utility pole. CamNet was unable to access it.
"We don't have a whole lot of options." Steve said.
Tom looked down both sides of the building.
"Not unless we want to go in the front door." Tom said. "It seems it's exactly what they want someone to do."
Tom was aware the building across the street had two security cameras pointed directly at the target building. CamNet was able to access those and loop them. They were currently useless to the enemy, even if they didn't know it.
There were no doors on the side of the building they were on. There were no windows at ground level either. There was a row of transom windows located higher up on the wall.
"It looks like we need to do this the hard way." Steve said. "I don't think smashing through the wall is prudent at this point."
Tom didn't think so either. It wasn't so much the fact it would create a lot of noise, it was the time it would take to make an opening big enough to enter through once the procedure started. It would allow anyone inside time to prepare. He looked up at the transom windows.
"Let me boost you up." Tom said. "You'll be able to look in the windows."
Steve faced the wall.
Tom moved behind him.
Steve lifted his left foot. Tom's hand came underneath it. He lifted his right foot and Tom's other hand came underneath it.
Tom stood upright and extended his arms to their full length as he held Steve's feet.
Steve was able to look in the corner of the first window. His head was about a foot above the bottom of the window. He was able to look down as well as across. He couldn't see what was up against the wall on the inside. He would need an open window to do so. None of the windows opened.
"I can see into an open work room area." Steve said. "I don't see anyone."
Tom carefully moved down the length of each window until they reached the last one.
Steve looked inside each of the windows to see if he could spot anything or anyone.
"I don't see any movement or any bomb." Steve said.
Tom didn't see a lot of options open to them.
"I think we need to take a look inside." Tom said.
Steve was still held up to the last window in the row. It was towards the rear of the building. He pulled out his knife. He took a look around him in both directions.
"I think I can pry the window frame loose." Steve said. "If I work carefully, it shouldn't generate much noise."
Tom didn't see any other option. They needed to take a closer look.
"Go ahead and do it." Tom said.
John liked the selection of pastries and light snacks available on deck five. He also liked the little coffee shop. He was intrigued they offered hot chocolate. It was something he liked and didn't try for quite some time. It was a rather simple drink. It was something he could usually get in any place they moved to over the years. His mother even would make it for him sometimes for breakfast. Maybe it was some type of a tie to the past. Maybe it reminded him of a time before Skynet changed everything in his life. Over all the specialty coffees available, it was what he wanted. He figured he could always try a different one later on or on another day.
The attendant went to hand John his hot chocolate.
Cameron saw a lot of steam coming off of it. She reached over and took it before John could. She would check a few things with a simple taste.
Cameron tried a sip of John's hot chocolate.
"Did you like it?" John asked.
A heat warning went off in Cameron's HUD. It was in addition to the other warnings which went off, especially the one about excessive sugar.
"It's very hot." Cameron said. "Be careful."
John knew he needed to blow on the hot chocolate first. He wondered about how it tasted to Cameron.
"I meant the taste." John said.
Cameron thought it was more pleasant to try than black coffee. It really didn't make a difference to her one way or the other, but she knew what humans preferred. She knew what John liked and didn't like. She knew what Savannah and Young Allison liked and didn't like as well. She 'liked' the same things they liked. She knew usually the more warnings which went off in her HUD when she tasted any particular type of food usually indicated the humans would 'like' it even more.
"The taste was fine." Cameron said. "The chocolate icing on Riley's pastry was much sweeter with more of a chocolate taste. It also set off several warnings in my HUD."
Riley thought the frosting was the best part. She didn't think there could be anything dangerous associated with it.
"What warnings?" Riley asked. "It tastes so good."
Now Derek wanted some.
"I want to try a bite." Derek said.
Riley wanted everyone to try a bite. They could always get more. The display case was packed full of them. All they needed to do is ask. They would be given as many as they wanted.
"Everyone needs to taste mine." Riley said.
Cameron quickly glanced at John with Riley's statement.
Riley broke off a section for Derek.
"There's plenty more there if someone wants to get another one, if they like the taste." Riley said.
Derek tried it and his eyes seemed to open wider. He could see why it set off warnings for Cameron. It was incredibly sweet and rich.
"I need a black coffee to drink after eating a bite of it." Derek said. "It's really rich."
Riley defended her choice.
"It's still the best." Riley said.
Derek thought about trying a second bite. A cup of hot black coffee was set down in front of him. He looked over to see where it came from. He was surprised.
"Thank you, Sarah." Derek said.
Sarah smiled at him.
"Don't say I never gave you anything." Sarah said.
Kyle gave Sarah the coffee earlier.
"I got it for you." Kyle said.
Sarah didn't think it was a problem. There was an easy solution.
"He needed it more than I did." Sarah said. "You can get me another one."
John didn't want any discourse.
"I'll get it." John said.
Sarah smiled at John.
"Now I know why you're my favorite son." Sarah said.
Cameron tilted her head slightly. She knew John was Sarah's only son. She heard her say the same thing previously on several occasions. She knew when John responded with the same information, it usually took on a somewhat negative overtone with Sarah's reply. It wasn't a subject she wanted to dwell on. She wanted to deal with the matters at hand.
"Who wants to try a bite of mine?" Cameron asked.
Derek looked at what Cameron picked. He wasn't familiar with it.
"What is it?" Derek asked.
Cameron turned it around and looked at it from the other side.
"I don't know." Cameron said. "It looked different."
Kyle figured Derek would try it.
"If it's not moving, Derek will try a bite." Kyle said.
Cameron looked at it. She poked it twice gently with her fork.
"No, it's not moving." Cameron said.
Cameron cut off a slice for Derek.
Derek sniffed it first and tried it.
"There's meat inside of it." Derek said.
Riley wondered what kind of pastry it was. If she was going to have 'meat inside' of anything, she would prefer the type when it was in her body. There was a very specific area for it. She didn't want to get too sexual in front of the others.
"What do you mean meat inside?" Riley asked. "I like chocolate icing and cream filling better."
Derek liked how it tasted.
"No, it's good." Derek said.
Sarah tried something similar to it before. It appeared to be a variation of it.
"I think they're empanadas." Sarah said. "I've tried something like it before. It could be something similar from another country. There are a lot of international things on board."
Cameron knew what the location was referred to.
"We are in the International Cafe." Cameron said. "I'm sure some of these desserts and dishes are actually based on food from other countries even if it looks similar to many things made here. It's possible they have different ingredients from what one would normally encounter."
John returned with Sarah's coffee.
"This isn't going to keep you up at night, is it?" John asked.
Sarah nodded at John and then looked at Kyle.
"Thanks. I don't think I'll be getting too much sleep for the next couple of days anyway." Sarah said. "I'm not the one who is going to need to 'keep it up' at night either."
Riley giggled.
"I'm out." Derek said.
Riley wasn't letting Derek off easy.
"Not if I can help it." Riley said. "You'll be in plenty."
John looked a little uncomfortable.
"Maybe I'll get something else." John said.
Derek wanted to know what else was available.
"Wait." Derek said. "Are there any more eating establishments where we're going next?"
Cameron didn't think there was much available at this time. There was another 'anytime restaurant' on deck six. It was identical to the one on the floor they were on.
"There's just popcorn and another bar." Cameron said.
Riley thought there was too much alcohol readily available.
"There are a lot of bars." Riley said as she glanced at Derek.
Derek wondered why Riley looked at him.
"Why are you looking at me?" Derek asked. "I don't do hard liquor."
Sarah didn't do much either.
"I don't do more than a shot and it's almost never anyway." Sarah said.
Kyle thought of some of the 'backyard brew' they encountered from time to time in the past, the future. He figured it was probably the equivalent of whatever 'Moonshine' was but probably less refined. He wondered how much of it was even safe to drink. Everyone would try a sip just to see what it was like. Usually only the individuals making it would drink more.
"I think we've all tried some 'Gut-rot' in our future." Kyle said.
Cameron wanted everyone to have a good time.
"I normally discourage alcohol use for anything other than in cooking." Cameron said. "We're on vacation and anyone can do as they please. None of you are driving. What happens on the ship, stays on the ship. This is an opportunity for everyone to try some type of specialty drink if they want it. We can make anything you can think of at any of the bars. I think some of them even have a list you can look at and tell them what you want."
Sarah spotted something on the wall menu she wanted to try.
"Maybe I'll have an 'Irish coffee' then." Sarah said.
Kyle wanted to joke with Sarah for her earlier 'rub'.
"You won't get sleepy on me will you?" Kyle asked.
Sarah joked right back.
"I think it is safe to say I can outlast you." Sarah said.
Derek looked at Kyle.
"Burn." Derek said.
Riley didn't want Derek going soft on her.
"Don't speak too soon, mister." Riley said. "The night is still young."
Kyle didn't like Derek's comment.
"Double burn." Kyle said. "The night might still be young, but Derek's not. He's older than I am. Good luck, old man."
The conversation only confirmed Cameron's earlier belief.
"It's why the female body is superior to the male body." Cameron said. "It can 'go on' indefinitely. It doesn't need to be a Terminator either."
Sarah knew she wasn't as young as she used to be.
"Maybe yours can." Sarah said.
Cameron knew it wasn't a problem.
"It can." Cameron said.
Sarah hadn't pulled an 'all nighter' in a while.
"I get tired too." Sarah said.
Cameron was pleased with her natural ability
"I never get tired." Cameron said. "I don't sleep either."
John felt a little uncomfortable with the subject matter. He didn't know if he should say anything or not. He figured it was best to stay out of the conversation. At some point it would all end up back on his lap in a negative manner. He was worried Cameron might give out too much information about his personal performance and ability. He didn't think it was anything the others needed to know. She did work on building up his stamina and reducing the refractory time. He believed he progressed quite a bit from where he was at a week and a half ago.
The group joked around a little longer. They finish their pastries and drinks.
It appeared to Cameron everyone was satisfied. It was time to move on.
"Are you ready to go to the casino?" Cameron asked.
Riley didn't really want to gamble. She wanted to look around and see how fancy the casino was.
"Do we have to play?" Riley asked.
Cameron could provide Riley with unlimited funds if she wanted them. Maybe Riley didn't like the concept. She was aware Savannah didn't.
"You don't have to, you can just watch." Cameron said. "There's always a lot happening."
Derek wondered if there were any more involved games.
"Maybe we can get a poker game going in a back room." Derek said.
John could see Derek's idea seemed to interest Cameron. She would win.
"I'll try it as long as Cameron doesn't play." John said.
Cameron didn't like being rebuffed. She didn't see anything wrong with how she played.
"I'll use nothing more than my 'natural ability'." Cameron said. "Everyone else is entitled to do the same thing. Some humans are actually quite good at remembering things and card counting when it comes down to it. I can do those things without even trying. It's just how it is for me."
Kyle knew it was Cameron's game if she used her Terminator skills. It would be impossible for any of them to win.
"I'm out." Kyle said.
Riley thought poker took a long time to play. She wasn't really sure. She could imagine a bunch of old men in a smoke-filled room, smoking cigars, and playing poker.
"I think it will take too long." Riley said as she looked at Derek and then down below her waist. "We still have other things to do. I thought you wanted to 'poke her'."
Derek knew what Riley wanted.
"If it's the case, poker is out, and 'poke her' is in." Derek said.
Riley smiled and touched Derek's cheek.
"It will be." Riley said.
Holly kept careful watch around the area the resistance team was in. She saw a few males look at her and contemplate coming over to where she was at. She kept a stern look on her face most of the time to discourage the behavior. They all moved on after a few seconds. She could see things were wrapping up at the table where the team was at. She got up and moved from the lounge area towards the elevator bank.
The group got up and headed for the elevator.
As Holly approached, the door to the closest elevator opened. She held the door for them when they arrived. It was unnecessary, but it was always a good safety precaution. The button for deck six was already activated.
Steve quietly worked to pry the window loose. It wasn't a window which opened so he couldn't force it open. Because it was a window which didn't open, it most likely meant it wasn't wired to set off an alarm or an explosion. He was able to pry the left side of it loose and then the bottom. Tom moved over slightly and he worked on the other side. It was soon loose as well.
He could see the piece of glass was loose. He carefully looked around the window before he slipped it out of its frame. He held the piece of glass in his right hand. His left hand reached out and grabbed the windowsill. He carefully poked his head inside of the building. He still didn't see anything at all. The interior was only dimly lit with a few lights. He used several different vision spectrums to look for anything at all.
"I'm going to hold myself up here with my left hand." Steve said. "Let me hand the piece of glass down to you. I don't want to drop it. Someone might hear it break."
Tom felt Steve's weight leave his hands. He reached up and took the piece of glass as Steve handed it to him. He set it up against the side of the building.
Steve moved up onto the windowsill so his body was halfway in the building. He reached down and extended his hand. Tom took it and he pulled him up. As soon as Tom had a hold of the windowsill with his hands, he carefully dropped over the other side of the windowsill and landed on the floor of the building. There was some mild scuffling noise and Tom joined him a few seconds later. They both took a moment to look at everything around them before they moved. They used multiple vision spectrums to do it. They were ready to pull their Taser or silenced M9 in an instant.
"Watch out for any trip wires or light beams." Tom said.
They were in the rear corner of the building.
"I'll check along the back and come up the other side." Steve said.
Tom looked at the center of the building. There were various pieces of equipment. Most of it appeared to be used for the machining of metal.
"I'll check out some of the machines. We'll meet by the front." Tom said. "I'm going to look for any traces of Coltan."
They both sent out to inspect the building and the equipment. They were both mindful of anything which might trigger a booby trap. They knew they were in a very high risk situation.
Gail made another sweep of deck six and the casino area.
She spotted Hanna hurry out of an elevator.
Hanna indicated she needed to turn her com off.
Gail figured something must have happened. She quickly disabled her com.
"What's wrong?" Gail asked.
Hanna looked a little uneasy.
"Is it so obvious?" Hanna asked.
Gail took a quick look around her.
"Yes." Gail said.
Hanna wondered how Gail would take the news.
"To make a long story short, Sheila thinks she's Jesse." Hanna said.
Gail wasn't sure what she meant.
"She has the 'Neural Interface' from Jesse." Gail said.
Hanna spelled it out.
"No, Sheila thinks SHE is Jesse." Hanna said. "She's talking about getting pregnant."
Gail understood it wasn't good for Sheila. It sounded like it may be a problem similar to what Cameron experienced at times.
Hanna told her the whole story about Cameron's plans and what Sheila did to try and deal with it. It seemed to have gotten away from Sheila and the stress about it made her 'snap'.
Gail wanted to assist her fellow Terminator. Sheila's base program was her program.
"I'll help her." Gail said. "I have the area here under control. There are no issues, threats, or problems. It's possible there may be some develop inside of the casino from inebriated patrons who aren't doing very well."
Hanna didn't want Gail to feel like she was abandoning her post.
"Thanks." Hanna said. "I can take over here."
Gail wondered how much like 'Jesse' would Sheila be. She wanted to help Sheila return to 'normal', which was pretty wild. She also wanted to see what 'this version' of 'Jesse' was like.
The fact Sheila wanted to get 'pregnant' bothered her. It must be something transferred over to Sheila from Jesse during the 'Neural Interface'. Now Jesse was nursing Precious, it seemed Jesse wanted to be a mother even more. She was unable to do it on her own. Every attempt was a failure.
Young Jesse or Jesse's mother would need to help Jesse. She spoke to Cameron about it on Jesse's behalf but nothing happened yet. She would need to mention it again. Jesse was her lover and her responsibility. She was glad Hanna would assume her duties. She let her know what was about to happen.
"John and the team are on the way up." Gail said. "There should be nothing to worry about."
Hanna quickly looked around the area. She didn't spot any threats.
"I have it covered." Hanna said.
Gail took off and headed up to deck seven. She really didn't know what she was going to need to deal with.
John Henry went around the long way to get back to the Command Center. He searched around him for any threats. He was a little nervous because his 'proximity' sensor went off twice with no one around. He would need to remove it and repair it. Maybe it was best left for someone else to test. He didn't want it to malfunction and cause him some additional problems.
He didn't check on Claire and Jesse again and avoided their aisle. He didn't want any trouble on his behalf.
When he entered the Command Center, he noted his chair wasn't how he left it. Maybe someone visited the Command Center. He checked the security logs and nothing showed up. He checked around Savannah's room and there was nothing.
Wait.
There was 'nothing' at all. He didn't even show up as having been there. Maybe there was someone else near him as well.
It meant CamNet must have altered the files.
If it wasn't CamNet, then it must have been someone else….
He really felt like he was neglecting his duty.
Tom didn't find any traces of Coltan as he looked around the various machines.
Steve made his way around the back and the rear side of the building. There were two doors on the back, one was a large roll up door. They were both wired to what appeared to be an alarm. The wires could also be connected to a bomb wherever the alarm control box was at. There was one door on the far side. It was wired as well.
So far nothing out of the ordinary was encountered. They still needed to inspect the front part of the building.
Steve and Tom joined up at the door which led to the front section of the building. They spoke in tones so low only another Terminator could hear them.
"I didn't see anything on the workroom floor related to Skynet." Tom said.
Steve checked the equipment on the far side of the building.
"I didn't either." Steve said.
They both looked at the closed door in front of them.
"What's going to happen when we open this door?" Tom asked.
Steve thought about the alarm system on the other three doors he inspected.
"It may or may not be wired for the alarm." Steve said.
Tom wasn't as much worried about the alarm as he was something else.
"It may be wired for something a little more terminal." Tom said.
They both thought a better approach was needed.
"Let me cut through the drywall." Steve said.
He moved over to the restroom on the workroom floor. He was aware a lot of buildings tried to keep the plumbing simple.
"The restroom for the office area is probably on the opposite side of the wall." Tom said.
Steve stuck his knife into the drywall and silently cut out a section between two of the studs. He very slowly stuck his knife into the drywall on the other side of the studs. He carefully removed a one inch section of the drywall. He moved his head up against the opening to take a look.
The room was dark on the other side. It was another restroom. He continued to cut the section out of the drywall on the other side so they could pass through it. They both moved into the bathroom in the office area.
Tom opened the bathroom door slightly and looked out. It opened into a hall. There were several rooms and what appeared to be an aisle way which led to the workroom floor. Steve went to check the other doors while Tom moved towards the main aisle.
Steve checked each of the rooms. There was only some office equipment in them. Any of the papers he found were several years old. It didn't appear anything happened for the last few years inside of the building. It was just 'build up' on everything.
Tom looked at the door which led to the workroom floor. He didn't see a bomb connected to anything which would be triggered when it opened. There could still be a contact which wasn't visible until the door was opened.
Steve rejoined Tom and they moved forward down the main aisle way.
"There needs to be a reason why the Terminator visited this location." Steve said.
Tom hadn't seen any indication why it would be necessary.
"We also know the building was under direct surveillance from across the street and the utility pole in the rear". Tom said. "I sure hope it wasn't just to get someone to come to investigate the building like we're doing now."
Steve was worried about the same thing. They knew about the surveillance, but so far they hadn't found a bomb.
It didn't mean there wasn't one. They certainly didn't want to find it the hard way either.
They also needed to wonder if the two different types of surveillance might not be two different groups. It was always a possibility.
Savannah was being pleased by both Cammy and Cam at the same time. She experienced a lot of intense stimulation.
"I think I need to rest." Savannah gasped. "I at least need to relax for a little bit."
Cammy didn't want Savannah pushed too far.
"I can carry you to the shower." Cammy said.
Savannah recovered quickly.
"I think I can make it." Savannah said. "It was a very intense experience."
Cam looked at the bed.
"I'll change the sheets." Cam said.
Savannah felt a little embarrassed, but not much.
"I'm sorry about it." Savannah said.
Cammy liked when it happened.
"It happens." Cammy said. "When it does, it makes me feel pleased I was able to satisfy you to such an extent."
Cam felt she was the one who got Savannah there.
"I was stimulating her when it happened." Cam said.
Cammy knew it was a joint effort.
"We both were." Cammy said. "I kept going after you stopped."
Savannah slowly got up.
"Are you OK?" Cammy asked.
Savannah was very tired.
"I'm not one hundred percent." Savannah said.
Cam wanted Savannah to rest.
"It's late." Cam said. "She needs to sleep."
Savannah didn't want to be a problem and brushed it off.
"I'm good." Savannah said. "I'm back to normal now."
Cam lifted her hand up off the sheet.
"I still need to change the sheets." Cam said.
Young Allison was very disturbed about her dream. She was troubled by the thought of Cameron trying to take control of her body. It was what Cameron wanted to do with the Metal girls. She was going to take their virginity from them.
She felt very uneasy when she stood up. She looked around in the darkness of her room. She picked up her Model 66 and Taser.
She wanted to find Anna.
The trouble was, she couldn't find Anna.
The alarm was on and the house seemed secure from the inside.
What if it wasn't?
Could there be an intruder inside?
She switched her Model 66 to her left hand and readied her Taser in her right hand.
Maybe Anna was stalking an intruder.
Maybe this was a drill.
Maybe it was a bad dream and she needed to go back to bed.
Anna might be alone so she could find some 'pleasure' with herself.
With the last thought, maybe she would look around some more. She would like to see her doing it. She hoped she could learn something new. She felt she already learned plenty from observing the others around the house as well as on the internet.
She didn't think it would hurt to learn a little more about everything. She was certain it never hurt to look, no matter what it was.
Anna moved through the house. All of her Terminator senses were functioning at their fullest extent. She wanted to find Young Allison before Young Allison found her.
It was clear Young Allison was packing heat and might be jumpy enough to use it.
She thought the path was clear to enter the bunker. She still didn't know where Young Allison was at.
It was like cat and mouse with two cats and no mouse.
She certainly hoped it wouldn't turn into a 'fur ball'.
Closing monologue by Cameron:
Meat Inside
What is one willing to give
What is another willing to take
It's different than both may think
Maybe it's true our own beds we make
Everything changes daily
Even if it's the same
It's hard to recognize
As one play's life's game
Is there a real goal
It doesn't seem that way
Maybe everyone worries
About what others will say
Does one forge ahead
Or buckle and cower
Is there only one
Who holds that power
Nothing can be denied
There's no need to hide
It's all going to happen
There no stopping the meat inside
Nobody
