"T-Thanks Chilli for helping with my paw even though it still hurts plus it'# nearly June's bedtime and we have to tell her about you know-" Sisu told Chilli.
"I know and this is scary, I was really worried seeing you fighting her, but we'll defeat her just like you and Raya did before, I'll help tell the story, June's coming and very quiet than usual." Chilli replied seeing June enter sensing something was off with her parents despite her mom smiling as usual.
"Is everything okay, are you guys scared about something." she asked softly.
"Yes, but let's just have fun, and a story." Chilli replied to her seeing her sitting on Chilli's tail excited as usual to hear a story knowing it's energy would go into Booklandia noticing the look on her mom's face, sensing something from earlier had upset her.
"The Mighty Ones protected Kumandra from darkness like the Drunn, keeping the kingdom in harmomy plus they bonded with humans plus their kids were training to be Mighty Ones themselves one day, only one day, an new threat showed herself in Kumandra and headed straight to the temple where the Mighty Ones and their loved ones lived." Sisu said noticing the expression on June's face which looked worried, scared.
"What happened next, mommy." June asked softly, squeezing Sisu's paw sensing anxiety from her which was understandable sensing she was reading between the lines impressing them, hoping she would be okay, this story didn't have an ending yet or if it would have a happy one pushing that thought from her mind, she had to be postive as normal.
"Their youngest sister who'd inherited magic from the Dragon Gem, was able to weaken her but the dark dragon escaped, before the Mighty Ones could deal with her and searching for her." Sisu said finishing the story making June's purple eyes widen realising this had happened earlier and why her paw hurt seeing her parents nodding.
"Yes but we had to tell you, to protect you, only don't tell your cousins." Chilli said.
June nodded kissing her mom's bandaged paw, feeling her parents hug her tight assuring her they would protect her alomg with Kumandra hearing her crying which made Chilli and Sisu comfort her, unaware the other kids were watching and unaware of what happened, only June noticed glowing from under her pillow where the Booklania book was hidden so taking it from under her pillow after her parents left her room opening the portal appearing in her favourite place besides her home knowing her mom's story had arrived.
"You okay, I sensed you were scared, plus a story with no ending was added to our world, one that you might be able to write." Siri the Princess of Stories said making June's eyes wide in surprise.
"But I'm not a Mighty One remember, how can I stop a dark-hearted dragon, whose magic is like the Drunn." June replied to her.
"Your mom wasn't a Mighty One, yet she blasted the Drunn away with the strengthof her heart and with the magic she inherited from the Dragon Gem." Siri replied making June guess she had a point takijg a deep dragon-breath as that helped her keep calm when frazzled when trying to figure things out seeing it was subrise seeing June leaving as she had school.
She found herself in her bed with the Booklandia book beside her hearing her dad calling her for breakfast going downstairs noticing her cousins especially Aimee were being quiet seeing their parents had went on patrol but Chilli was takijg Juhe to school seeing her noticing Sisu was with her aunts and uncles feeling him squeeze her paw gently.
"Yes she went with Aunt Raya to patrol for that dark-hearteddragon that attacked the temple don't worry, it'll be alright." he told her making her frown.
"We're worried too, Juhe, that's why you were scared right." Aimee said seeing June nodding before leaving with her dad, only while flying above the harbour, a ray of magic shoje from the Dragon Gem touching June's horn, surprising her but also Chilli shaking it off approaching Auradon Elementary, seeing Lani hug June noticing something was off unaware of what had happened to her friend.
"Look after mommy, okay in case thar Drunn dragon comes back." June told her dad seeing him nodding before flying off taking deep dragon-breaths.
Raya and Namari noticed that Sisu was quiet while at Raya's house, while having a snack as the female water-dragon's sibs told her to relax and let them handle this new threat that had attacked the temple and had tried to hurt her which stunned them, a dragon with Drunn-magic was loose in Kumandra relieved it couldn't turn anybody to stone understanding why it was so mad at Sisu's family.
"We'll kick it's tail or blast it out of here, like last time." Raya reassured her seeing Namari agreeing hugging Sisu finding their auras comforting in this stressful time hoping June and the other kids were alright, seeing a rainbow which Raini had made making her smile.
