Chapter 1238

My Favorite Part

Kyle and Sarah started the first hole on the miniature golf course. They decided not to keep score. It was soon clear Sarah was better than Kyle at the game. She played it before. It was years ago.

Hanna was with them. After watching both of them play a hole, she would play. She needed to take into account all of the variables before each shot. She was able to see how the ball performed for both Sarah and Kyle. The 'green' was very uneven and the equipment was less than satisfactory.

She was able to observe the areas where Kyle and Sarah both experienced difficulty because of the poor condition of the 'fairway'. Without the advantage of watching both of them play, she may not have done quite as well and she did so far. A few of her shots almost hadn't made it. So far all her shots were a 'hole in one'.

Kyle already knew Hanna would be better than both of them. He thought he would be as good as Sarah. He didn't expect to be worse.

The only time he played the game before was in the future. They needed to pass through the Wastelands. Derek and him needed to avoid an HK drone. They hid in a small fake windmill on an old miniature golf course. The HK drone went away after an hour. They waited another hour before they came out. They weren't sure if it would return or not. They made sure they listened carefully in case it did.

They found a warped board and some semi-round stones. They played around with everything a short time before they heard the HK drone return to the vicinity. They retreated into the small windmill and spent the night.

He remembered it was a cold night. They didn't risk starting a fire. They were in the process of moving from one sector to another. Some of the people they were with previously were either captured or killed by Skynet. Either way, they were just gone. It was one of the reasons why he tried not to make any close friends. It was too painful to lose those close to you.

"…or not?" Sarah asked.

Kyle realized his thoughts drifted into the past, the future.

"What?" Kyle asked.

Sarah looked a little annoyed.

"I asked if you're going to play or not? Well, what's it going to be, mister?" Sarah asked. "Do you want me to play the hole for you? I don't think I need a referee to stand around and watch me play."

Kyle felt a little embarrassed.

"Sorry, I was thinking about something else." Kyle said.

Kyle didn't feel like talking about it right now.

Sarah paused for a moment and looked at Kyle. There was a 'far off' look to him. She knew where the 'far off' look led. It was usually to the past, the future. She realized she just was a little too harsh. She wondered what actually triggered it. Was it where they were at? Maybe it had something to do with a golf course. She would ask him about it sometime later on. She would wait until they returned from the cruise. She didn't want him to have any more negative experiences while they were on vacation. She touched his arm and looked at his face.

"It happens." Sarah said. "I'm sorry. You can play when you're ready. We're in no hurry."

Kyle looked at Sarah and gave her a faint smile. He knew she understood. Maybe sometime after the cruise he would tell her about it. He didn't want to think about the experience or the people they lost along the way.

Hanna looked back to the stairway that led up to their area. She could hear others approaching.

"We have visitors." Hanna said. "They're almost here."

Claire took one look back at the gym as they exited outside. They went from the cool air conditioned atmosphere of the gym, to the harsh and warm air of Ensenada. There was a big difference. She wasn't sure the air felt quite as fresh as it normally did along the coast or at the beach. Maybe it was because she just came out of the conditioned air of the ship.

Jesse thought about the spa treatments as they exited back out onto the deck. She always heard about such things but never experienced any herself. She wanted to try some of them. She noticed most of the attendants were female. She would be more than happy to let them touch her naked body, even if it was in a non sexual way. It could be in a sexual way in her mind if she wanted it to be. She glanced over at Claire. She quickly collected her thoughts. Why was her mind all over the place?

She spent a moment to take in the outside air. It was a long way from the past, the future. It was nice to be able to see the sky and the sun. She knew there were fewer toxins in the air as she breathed it in. It seemed like a nice day outside to her. She thought it was fine earlier when they visited the other locations as well.

Gail wanted to move things along. She led them outside. She detected the same level of elevated pollution in the air as she did earlier. She didn't know Claire and Jesse thought two totally different things when they breathed the air at the Ensenada port. She led Jesse and Claire up to the deck with the miniature golf course on it. She could hear the others talking as they approached. It seemed Kyle was somewhat frustrated. They hadn't been playing very long.

"They're up here." Gail said.

Gail led Jesse and Claire up the stairway.

They spotted Sarah and Kyle.

Hanna appeared behind them. She repositioned herself in case there was any time of an issue, or anyone else with them.

"Are we having fun?" Claire asked.

Kyle was pleased to see them. He thought about her question for a moment. He looked at Sarah.

"No." Kyle said.

Sarah wasn't happy Kyle looked at her when he answered. She thought she should qualify his abrupt statement.

"It's because he's a little behind." Sarah said. "It's not a problem."

Kyle felt a little defensive.

"We aren't keeping score." Kyle said.

Gail could ask Hanna what the score was. She knew it, even if they weren't keeping track. Hanna would know what already happened.

"Hanna will know the score." Gail said. "She can tell us if you want to know."

Kyle didn't want to know. It was the whole point of not keeping score.

"I'll pass." Kyle said.

Hanna didn't want any hard feelings. Kyle already looked upset enough.

"We're playing for fun." Hanna said. "It was agreed no score would be kept. We're here to enjoy ourselves. I think everyone is doing a wonderful job so far. The conditions of the course are less than pristine and need to be addressed."

Kyle was glad she didn't mention how many hits he tried and failed. The worst ones were when he actually missed making contact with the ball. He wasn't exactly sure how it was possible since the ball was right there in front of him. It did happen though.

He hit the ball and it rolled up the short fairway. It stalled and rolled back to where he was standing. He stopped it with his foot.

"Some fun…." Kyle said.

Sarah wanted to rub it in a little.

"It's fun for me." Sarah said. "We're just here to have some relaxation and kill some time."

Claire and Jesse could both tell the atmosphere was a little tense. They didn't want to escalate the tension any further.

"We were just passing through." Claire said.

It looked like a good idea to keep moving to Jesse.

"We'll catch you later." Jesse said. "Gail is showing us around."

Sarah wanted to make sure they visited the two main entertainment venues. She felt since she was impressed by them, they would be as well.

"Check out the main theater." Sarah said. "There's a smaller one in the back too."

Gail planned to show them everything. The more she looked at Claire the more she wanted to show her something.

"I'll show them." Gail said.

Claire and Sarah shared a long moment of visual contact with each other. It seemed a lot was said without a word being spoken.

"Everyone needs to remember there is no score with fun." Claire said. "It's just about playing the game so everyone can have a good time. It's nothing to take too seriously."

Jesse noticed the exchange between Claire and Sarah. She could see there was a lot of chemistry there. She didn't like to share her girls with anyone. Sometimes a strategic move needed to be considered instead of a tactical one. She would make an exception in Sarah's case. If Claire were to get closer to Sarah, it would put her closer to Sarah as well by extension.

The thought of a 'three way' excited her greatly. It was always a goal and secret dream of hers to be with Sarah from the first time she encountered her in the TDE room. Sarah slapped her, and later knocked her to the floor. She liked being with a strong female. It wasn't just about strength either. She was naked during the initial encounter. She knew at that moment she wanted to be with Sarah more than any female. She made it clear she was always available.

Jesse wanted to give them all something to think about.

"Look at the bright side." Jesse said. "In just about every other game, the high score wins. Maybe it shouldn't be any different when it comes to miniature golf. I think it's something to think about anyway."

Kyle was pleased to hear Jesse's suggestion.

"Now you're talking." Kyle said. "I truly appreciate someone who knows how the game is actually played."

Sarah nodded at Jesse when she departed. She could see she tried to de-escalate the situation. She actually thought it was rather creative. She watched both Claire and Jesse as they moved away. There were a lot of thoughts in her mind right now.

Gail, Jesse, and Claire left and headed for the stairway.

"Where's the main theater from where we're at right now?" Claire asked.

Gail saw Claire look at the stairs and then at the elevator.

"It's almost straight down from where we're at." Gail said. "We can take the elevator if you want."

Claire felt a little tired.

"OK." Claire said. "I'd like to if you don't mind. Maybe the air isn't quite as fresh as I thought it was going to be."

Jesse thought the air was fine. She knew how bad it could get in a Skynet future. There was no need to bring it up.

Gail tilted her head slightly. The quality of the air seemed much the same as it was when they arrived earlier. Maybe something else was involved. She wondered if Claire was having any problems with Allison's baby. She would need to use some tact.

"What deck is the theater on?" Jesse asked.

Gail only mentioned the decks passengers could sit on.

"It is on deck seven and deck six." Gail said. "The main entrance is on deck seven. It will be the one we enter through."

The fact the theater took up two decks made it sound very substantial to Claire. She didn't know some of the stage extended down into deck five as well.

"It sounds big." Claire said.

Gail knew it was big.

"It's the largest single area on the ship for passengers." Gail said.

The trio approached the elevators. The door closest to them opened up.

Claire entered the elevator and Gail followed her in.

Jesse decided to take the stairs.

"I'll meet you on deck seven." Jesse said.

Gail wondered if there was a competition.

"Is this a race?" Gail asked.

Jesse just wanted to stay in shape.

"It's a workout." Jesse said. "I need a little more cardio than I get in bed."

Gail thought Jesse received a lot of cardio in bed. Her heart sure beat wildly at times. She also needed to remember there were times when it didn't beat it all. It was when Jesse wanted her to take her all the way to the other side. She would always need to administer CPR after a couple of minutes. She wouldn't wait any longer even when Jesse wanted her too.

The door closed. The floor for the entrance to the main theater was already lit up.

Gail and Claire started down.

Claire looked over at Gail.

Gail reached over and silently scanned Claire.

Claire understood. She deepened her look into Gail's face.

"I want to be with you again." Claire said. "I'll ask Hanna to switch with Jesse, as long as you don't mind."

It sounded enticing to Gail.

"I'd like it." Gail said. "I like to be with you. You're somewhat different from the other girls."

Claire hoped it was a good thing. She was a little concerned as to exactly what it meant. She would use Gail's wording to see if she would elaborate.

"I am?" Claire asked. "What's somewhat different?"

Gail finished scanning Claire and smiled at her.

"You're very pleasant to share with." Gail said.

Claire wasn't sure where things were going. She heard something similar before.

"Do you mean some things 'taste better'?" Claire asked.

Gail tilted her head slightly.

"It's what I indicated." Gail said.

Claire always heard the same reference sooner or later from her female friends. There were a few things she personally liked about Gail.

"Thanks, I think." Claire said. "I like your aggressiveness."

Gail felt Jesse could be very dominant. It forced her to be docile for Jesse. Jesse liked to tell her what she could and couldn't do. Sometimes it was even what she could and couldn't enjoy. She never knew if Jesse was going to be controlling or submissive and want to be controlled. It changed all of the time. Sometimes it was in the middle of a lovemaking session. She found it somewhat intriguing since there was no pattern to it whatsoever. It seemed to happen randomly. She liked to be able to adapt as quickly as possible and as seamlessly as possible.

There were even times when Jesse insisted she tie her up. She was always naked when she did. It wasn't something she wanted to do. She always verified it with Jesse at least twice before she did so. She was sure Jesse relived moments from the past, the future.

Sometimes she just tied her hands behind her back. There were other times when Jesse wanted to be tied to the bed with her arms and legs spread out.

She found it very disturbing when it occurred. She found it even more disturbing when Jesse told her to be very rough with her. Sometimes Jesse wanted her to 'hurt' her. She was very reluctant to do so.

Somehow it seemed to make it worse when she thought about how Duplicate Jesse used to ask her to do the same things, in the same way. It was further proof Jesse and Duplicate Jesse were the same individual.

She didn't want to be rough with Jesse. She wanted to share with her instead. She preferred when they interacted in a loving manner. She quickly pushed the thoughts from her mind. She focused on Claire.

"I like to be in control." Gail said. "I must be submissive to Jesse half of the time. It makes me more assertive the rest of the time."

Claire watched the numbers on the elevator get lower.

"We're almost there." Claire said.

Claire reached up and gave Gail a passionate kiss.

Gail was as receptive as she was pleased.

"You kiss with such feeling too." Gail said. "It's beautiful."

It was another thing Claire always heard from her female friends.

"Thank you." Claire said.

Claire only did what came natural to her. She was able to express herself through her body and her touch. It really made her wonder why only females responded in kind when it came to love making. It just seemed males only worried about their own satisfaction and the two minutes it would take to achieve it. It was never a pleasant thought.

The elevator stopped and the door opened.

Jesse was there waiting for them.

"I win." Jesse said.

Claire was surprised Jesse was already there. The elevator didn't stop on the way down.

"You sure were fast." Claire said.

Jesse smiled.

"You know me." Jesse said. "I like some things fast and other things slow."

Gail exited and moved into the lead.

"Follow me." Gail said.

Gail led them toward the theater area.

Claire liked what she saw as they approached. She could see a lot of work went into the foyer area to make it appealing. It wasn't just a doorway into a room.

"The outside looks nice." Claire said.

Gail felt she would like the interior even better.

"Wait until you see the inside." Gail said.

Jesse looked at both of them and smiled.

"It's my favorite part." Jesse said.

Gail and Claire were aware Jesse always did try to see inside…. She spent a lot of time looking anyway. They didn't think anything was ever different. Jesse would soon concentrate on what was outside and it was what mattered and delivered. The interior of the theater was obviously a little different. All the action would be on the inside and what happened on the stage would determine if the performers delivered or not.

Derek was a little surprised how much Riley was all over him as they went down the hallway towards their suite. He knew Ally was behind them. She bid them farewell as they entered their Suite and she continued on towards the private area.

Riley wanted an immediate love making session with Derek. They rapidly stripped off each other's clothes as soon as they entered the bedroom section of their suite. They quickly shared with each other. Derek stayed with it to make sure she made it. She did.

Derek didn't have the opportunity to take any of the 'blue pills' Dan picked up for him. He didn't think he should take more than one. He didn't know how long it would take to have any effect. He was good without it right now. He thought he would need it more later on after dinner and any entertainment.

Riley was thrilled to reconnect with Derek in such a sexual way. She was in a slump for about six months. It was when she either was sick, too tired, or didn't have any desire. Mostly she didn't have any desire. Now she seemed to have plenty of desire and tried to make up for lost time.

"It was magnificent…." Riley said.

Derek leaned over and gave Riley a kiss.

"It always is for me." Derek said.

Riley ran her hands down the length of her body.

"I think I forgot how special my female parts could make me feel." Riley said.

It seemed to Derek she remembered real fast. He wasn't too happy about the 'dry spell' when it was in effect. He hoped it was in the rear view mirror at this point.

"You do seem to be making up for lost time." Derek said.

Riley gave Derek a long kiss this time. She felt bad about the way she neglected him for so long.

"Let's do it again…." Riley whispered in his ear.

Derek wasn't sure how he was going to be able to perform. He swallowed hard.

"Sure, I'd like to." Derek said.

Derek was afraid his swallow was the only thing going to be hard.

Riley wanted more. She wanted to be in control.

"I'll be on top." Riley said.

Derek wondered which way.

"Will you be front ways or backwards?" Derek asked.

The question made Riley's answer easy.

"It will be both." Riley said. "Pick which one you want for the first time. The second time around I'll be the other way."

It made Derek a little worried. It looked like Riley wanted a lot of action.

"Do you mean two more times now?" Derek asked.

Riley didn't have a problem with it. She didn't see why it couldn't be even more.

"It's just for starters…." Riley said.

Now Derek wished he took one of the pills. He was afraid Riley would find him inadequate and seek a new partner. Maybe he would try and get ahead of it and see if one of the Metal girls was interested in helping him out some with Riley. They might be able to tire Riley out a little. He would even settle for some assistance from the human females to help slow her down.

Maybe he would ask Cameron for some advice. He knew it was a sensitive subject for her. She was the one who could make it happen. He also realized his 'function' to Riley was over. There was Precious now. She was most likely it. If Riley ended up with a Terminator lover, she really wouldn't need him for anything. He decided to rethink things. He didn't want to be the one who replaced himself.

Ally entered the private area and looked around. Everything was as she left it. She was actually a little surprised Jim hadn't opened the door for her. She thought she should check and see what else was going on.

She went to listen outside the Owner's Suite but decided she didn't want to know. She figured Holly was next in the line up. Maybe it would be Gail or Hanna. She hoped Cameron wouldn't ask her. Their sheaths were identical. She wasn't sure what the point would be other than she was untouched by a male. It would only be to strip her of her virginity. It seemed very selfish on Cameron's part. The way it seemed was John would take them all one by one with Cameron in control. Everyone was ready to give it a try but her. They all saw it as an opportunity. It seemed more like abuse to her.

She wondered at what point Cameron would stop, or would she? Her behavior could become very obsessive at times. She was pretty sure it was going to be the same way again.

Ally headed into the Control Center.

Jim looked over as she entered.

"Hi, Jim, is there anything new?" Ally asked.

Jim looked very busy.

"Hello, Ally." Jim said. "Yes, there is. I'm sorry I didn't open the door for you. I got a little caught up in events."

She could see Jim followed a Resistance operation.

Right away Ally picked up not all was well.

"What is it?" Ally asked. "What went wrong?"

Jim went over what happened near the old newspaper plant and in the storm drain system now. He mentioned about the small drone and the van which was hit with a missile strike.

It sounded like really bad news to Ally.

"They're all inside?" Ally asked as she looked at the monitors.

Jim was worried there was no contact from any of them.

"Yes." Jim said. "I have no other information."

Ally was worried about Savannah the most. She hoped the Terminators would be able to take care of themselves if the shooting started. Savannah would be at a disadvantage.

"Savannah's in danger." Ally said. "Are there others close by?"

Jim wanted to reassure her more help would arrive soon. Maybe he actually wanted to reassure himself.

"Ed and Mel are on the way along with three of Cameron's Terminators." Jim said. "They're unknown to me."

Jim showed her some images from the hangar.

Ally looked at the footage. She recognized the faces.

"I've seen them before." Ally said. "Sheila and I aren't around there as much now at Cameron's base."

Jim knew the reason for it. There were a couple of more females thrown into the mix.

"It's because all the 'action' is at the Resistance base, especially now with Allison and Claire there." Jim said.

Ally was aware how much attention the male Terminators now paid to the females, both Terminator and human. She figured it was only a matter of time before Sheila swapped chips with a male Terminator and made the rounds. Once Cameron stripped all the Metal girls of their virginity, they might as well give it a try with Sheila in a male chassis. She might even do it herself. She certainly didn't think it could hurt anything to try it in a male chassis. She would at least do it with Sheila. She would also do it with Sheila in control of her chassis. She wanted to know what it was like to be with herself as a male. She already knew what it was like. She needed to refocus.

"Let's stick with Cammy's operation." Ally said.

Ally looked at the connecting pass door to the Owner's Suite.

Jim noticed where she looked. He understood the unspoken question.

"I don't know." Jim said. "I haven't listened."

Ally looked back at Jim. She thought more happened in there than met the ear.

"What's really going on in there?" Ally asked. "I'd have to think at some point it will turn into a 'three way'."

Jim liked the idea. His words slipped out without thinking.

"They haven't invited me yet." Jim said.

Ally wasn't sure if he was joking or not. It wasn't what she meant.

"I hope it was a joke." Ally said.

Jim tilted his head slightly.

"No." Jim said.

Savannah made the decision to enter the storm drain system at its beginning. It was the first drain on the branch in the industrial area.

She couldn't lift the manhole cover by herself without some type of leverage. There was only one other way in where she was at. It was through the actual opening in the curb. As soon as she tried to squeeze through the opening, she began to second guess herself. It was a very tight fit with her gear on. She didn't want to get stuck or wreck anything. She needed to slip her vest off to fit.

She was aware John Henry didn't want her to enter the system. She slipped through the curb opening and then reached back for her vest. She wasn't sure if she could wear it in the pipe or if she would need to drag it behind her. Without her vest on, she was more susceptible to gunshot wounds. Most of her body wasn't protected by the vest anyway. It was just her vital organs. It didn't matter. The Metal girls were in a jam, she was there to assist them.

Savannah checked the pipe in front of her. It was dark wherever it went. She looked around her to see if another tunnel was behind her. There wasn't. It was smooth concrete. She didn't know what the pile of dirt was from then. There was no continuation of the tunnel from where she was at.

She wondered earlier if the dirt was from some type of extension someone started for the drainage system. The solid concrete verified there wasn't.

Savannah took out her night vision and put it on. She could see the outline of the circular tunnel in front of her. She was going to need to proceed on her hands and knees or be bent at an angle with her knees bent. The good news was, she was able to put her vest back on. Parts of it would touch the sides of the pipe as she moved.

She decided to stay on her feet and contort her body. She figured it would be easier to 'fall backward' and bring her weapons into play to engage whatever was in front of her. On her hands and knees, she could go prone and try to fight that way. One thing was for sure. Her speed was going to be limited, as was her stealth.

Savannah moved as quietly as she could. It wasn't quiet enough for her. She was under the pavement now. She headed for the other side. She could see the junction with the drain on the other side of the street. There was some light which filtered down from the opening. It wasn't much. At least this way she knew there was no one behind her. They needed to be in front of her.

She held her Taser in her right hand as she neared the junction. She quickly popped around the corner and looked at the pipe from the junction down to the next turn. The pipe was about thirty percent larger after the junction. She still needed to be bent forward but was a little more upright. She could also move more quietly. None of her gear touched the walls of the pipe any longer.

Savannah was in the segment which led to the seventh street. It was the street her SUV was parked on. She checked her com and phone, both of them were inoperable. It made her feel a little better as to why there hadn't been any contact with Cammy or the others who were underground. She knew it was going to cause some apprehension for everyone else because they couldn't contact her either.

When she looked up from her phone, she saw something move in front of her. The figure turned up the junction going to the seventh street. She reached the junction and could see why they turned. The pipe was much larger than the one she was in.

She peered around the corner with her Taser. The figure was already beyond Taser range. She switched to her M9. The silencer was on it. She flipped the safety off as she drew it. She checked her next magazine and it was ready. She would try to keep track of her shots if she needed to fire. Sometimes in the moment of combat, it was possible to lose count.

Savannah looked in the direction the figure came from but saw nothing. She started in pursuit of them. They were headed for the opening in the curb, or to lift the manhole cover. They may turn and come back in her direction once they spied her SUV. She didn't have clear identification on the target and hoped it wasn't Tom or Steve. She couldn't call out to them as it would give her presence and position away. Her M9 led her way forward as she held it in her hand.

She looked back every few seconds to make sure no one else ended up behind her. She knew there could have already been other Gray's in the system. She didn't know how many people were in the system other than one Gray and four Terminators , plus herself. There was no way to know if the person she was in pursuit of was the only one other than the Resistance team there.

She really didn't want to get stuck between two hostiles inside of the pipe. There was absolutely no cover whatsoever for her. Even if the individual she pursued were to turn and fire at her. There was nowhere to go. She was bound to take more than a few projectiles. It was doubtful they would only contact with her vest.

She knew she would return fire instantly. She didn't know if the individual wore any protection or not. She strongly doubted it. Then again, if it was an enemy Terminator it wouldn't make any difference.

Cammy was on the floor of the drainage system. She opened her eyes and immediately reached out at the target in front of her. She didn't know where her Taser was. The target reached back and grabbed her as well. She knew she was up against a Terminator.

Cam was on the floor of the drainage system. She opened her eyes and was immediately grabbed. She lost her Taser. It was clear she was fighting a Terminator. She was in so close to the target, she couldn't even get a good look at it. It looked like it was going to be a brutal fight to the finish in the confined space of the storm drain tunnel.

Steve moved as best as he could in the confined space. He was aware there were going to be four Terminators in the system soon along with the Gray or Skynet Terminator. He should be behind Cammy at this point. There was no sound he could detect. It wasn't too long before it changed.

He moved down the confines of the feeder tunnel into the main tunnel. There was the sound of a scuffle ahead when he reached the junction.

It sounded like one of their team made contact with someone. He moved with his Taser and M9 in front of him towards the scuffle.

Tom moved down his segment of the feeder pipe. He should be behind Cam. As he neared the junction of the main tunnel, he could hear some noise. It sounded like a scuffle. One of their Terminators must be in a struggle with the Gray, or most likely another Terminator. He knew a Gray wouldn't last very long in an altercation with a Terminator. He glanced up the pipe towards the seventh and eighth streets and saw nothing. The sound was in the segment to his left. He moved forward with his Taser and M9 out in front of him.

Allison was very upset because everyone was below ground. There was nothing to see or hear. There was no indication anything was happening. All there was the footage from the different drones. Everything looked the same.

"Now we don't know anything." Allison said.

John Henry simply restated the facts they did know.

"We know we have five of our team in the storm drain system and there is one Gray, or a Skynet Terminator, in there with them." John Henry said. "We don't know what else is in there. There could be more Grays or Terminators in there. There could be some other passageway which leads to a different location."

It was about the last thing Allison wanted to hear.

Allison didn't want to take out her frustration on John Henry. There was nothing he could do at this point.

"I'm sorry." Allison said. "I know we just need to wait."

John Henry wanted her to know it was like this more often than it should be. He decided not to elaborate. The unknown was always a factor in their operations. The unknown was always the unknown until it was known. Even when it was known, it could still remain unknown.

The frustration was greatest in the Young bunker.

"This is when I feel powerless." Young Allison said.

Anna could do nothing to change it.

"This is how it is sometimes." Anna said. "You know this. We've been through this before."

Young Allison needed to concentrate and control her emotions.

"All we can do is let it play out in the unknown." Young Allison said.

Young Allison checked on the other things happening.

Anna saw her check the ship and the truck. A drone followed the truck.

"Everything on the ship needs to play out as well." Anna said.

Young Allison looked at the door to the Owner's Suite from the security camera and shook her head.

"I don't want to discuss it right now." Young Allison said.

Anna could tell it upset Young Allison as well.

"I understand." Anna said.

Young Allison 'blamed' both John and Cameron for it. Cameron herself taught her the female was always in control in a consensual relationship. She decided if and when a sexual encounter would occur. If the female decided it wasn't going to happen, it didn't. She tried to push the thoughts from her mind.

"I wish I did understand." Young Allison said.

It seemed Savannah's words to her echoed in her mind. She told her, 'Don't be in such a hurry to grow up'. Savannah said it wasn't all fun and games.

She knew beyond a doubt where Savannah was at now wasn't fun and games either. It was about survival.

Here she sat in the comfort of her bunker while Savannah faced the unknown. She really hoped Savannah was able to put her vest back on. She could be shot and trapped underground right now for all they knew. There was no way for them to detect the sounds of gunfire from the drones at altitude.

Hank and Larry took the two Grays to opposite corners of the 'clean room' and began to question them. There were muted screams and grunts along with cries of pain as the questioning began. It only intensified as the questioning continued.

Everything was quiet in a few minutes. Both of the Grays were soon terminated. Humans didn't last long when they were questioned by a Terminator.

Hank and Larry rejoined with each other and discussed what information they were able to get out of the Gray they each questioned. They were able to learn there was another location being set up. It was supposed to be bunker buster proof. Neither one of the Grays knew its location.

They were questioned about the new construction they appeared to be in currently. They were informed further construction was stopped when the other location was discovered. They figured it was a mine somewhere else. There were thousands of them located throughout the Southwest.

There were Skynet Terminators involved with the operation. None of them were at the location where they were.

They both felt they broke enough bones to get what information the men could reveal. Their main concern right now was to go upstairs to finish the job. There should still be a half dozen Grays they would need to terminate. They should all be on the upper level.

Larry looked around the deactivated 'clean room'.

"We can torch this area and head upstairs." Larry said.

Hank looked around at the deactivated equipment.

"If it's not destroyed, they'll just use it again." Hank said.

Larry hoped they would be able to find some explosives.

"It would be better if we could cave in this entire complex." Larry said.

Hank remembered the bomb in the back of the van.

"The bomb I found earlier isn't big enough." Hank said.

Larry pulled the pin on his Thermite grenade and put it where the mainframe was at.

"Let's see if we can locate one big enough." Larry said.

Hank armed his Thermite grenade and put it where the other computer gear was at.

"Let's go see what we can find." Hank said.

The two Terminators exited the 'clean room'.

They heard both of the Thermite grenades go off as they moved away from the area. Whatever they left behind would soon be burnt and melted scrap metal.

The female Fanatic moved back into the front seat of the van. She buckled her safety belt and stepped on the brake. She moved the shift selector from 'Park' into 'Drive' and drove away. She carried the remote detonator for the bomb in her pocket.

She was going to drive by their first base of operations when they arrived in the past, the present. She didn't know what she was going to find there. She hoped it was some answers.

The van passed between the two buildings and then pulled onto the street.

She looked both ways and watched behind her as she drove. She didn't think she was followed. She was sure if she was, the enemy would have made its move by now.

The female Fanatic thought of her lover who perished in the attack on their new building. She was the sole survivor. She couldn't let her emotions get the best of her. There were plenty of people she cared about who died over the years. It was just the way things worked.

She was caught up in her past and her grief. She wasn't aware of the time. She realized she was only a few blocks away from where she wanted to go. It was time to start paying attention. Maybe she should have started a little earlier.

Hank and Larry moved back toward the main passageway. They left the burning 'clean room' behind them. They paused when they reached it. They listened for the sounds of any other movement. There were none.

They thought their best course of action was to head directly upstairs and terminate the rest of the Grays in the complex.

They both headed up the stairway to the upper level. They each held their silenced M9 in one hand. Their Taser was tucked away in their vest. It was ready for quick access if it was necessary. Both of the terminated Gray's in the 'clean room' indicated there were no Terminators present in the complex. They were all at whatever new installation was being set up, or procuring items necessary for its completion. The unknown location sounded like it was a major threat.

Larry opened the door at the top of the stairway. He moved into the room with his silenced M9 in front of him. Hank was right behind him. They encountered two Grays who came around a corner. They each shot one of them. They didn't want them to raise an alarm. They hurried to the fallen bodies and pulled them all the way around the corner.

Hank took a look around the corner where the two Grays came from. He didn't see any more.

They continued on their way. They knew there should be another control room of some type on the upper level. The upper level was the same level which exited the side of the hill between the two buildings.

They could hear talking, with an occasional laugh, as they approached another room.

There were two doors between them and where the sounds emanated from.

Hank checked the first room.

Larry checked the second room.

"I found what we wanted." Larry said as he looked into the room.

Hank moved up beside Larry and looked into the room. It was filled with explosives.

"I think there's enough here to do the job." Hank said.

Larry looked at some drums of chemicals in the room as well.

"What are all the chemicals for if they already have explosives?" Larry asked.

Hank looked at the drums of chemicals as well.

"Maybe they're going to make some explosive with them." Hank said.

Larry looked at the names of the chemicals on the drums.

"They are going to make some type of explosive." Larry said. "It's as powerful as it is unstable to use."

Hank understood right away what it would be.

"It's nitroglycerin." Hank said. "It's extremely explosive. Anyone who uses it usually ends up terminating themselves in the process. "

Larry looked further around the room with the explosives in it.

"Let's make sure none of it has been mixed yet." Larry said. "We could accidentally terminate ourselves if we were to dump it over or bump into it too hard."

Larry remembered there was a saying about how if someone looked at nitroglycerin the wrong way it blew up.

Hank and Larry exited the room with the explosives and continued toward the room with the talking. They hoped to identify the individual the last two Grays they terminated indicated was the 'boss'. They moved up to the doorway of the room and listened.

The female Fanatic knew she needed to pay better attention. She didn't know if there would be another SkyMaster cell at the location or not. She also needed to worry if it was under observation by any of the other groups they needed to battle with in the present.

There wasn't much traffic out in the area she was currently at. The van she was driving was picked up on the street a few days ago across town. They planned to use the bomb on the two buildings of the complex she was taken into and escaped from. It was still her goal.

She drove by the front of the building on the street. She didn't slow as she approached. She only looked over towards the building as she was about to pass it and for a second after she went by.

Wait.

She was sure she spotted something out of place. Things weren't as they left them. There was a gate along the side of the building for a driveway. She knew for a fact it was closed and secured before they left. Someone visited there and opened the gate. They left it open and hadn't bothered to close it.

Was someone there right now?

Maybe it was someone from the complex she just was inside of. She couldn't help but think about the 'comfort bunk'. She wanted to see all of those people dead. Right now she was going to need a closer look at the building to try to determine what was going on. She could use the bomb in the van against the building right now.

No. She wanted to use the bomb against the group who would tie a female to a bunk and abuse her. They weren't true believers either. She knew which was the bigger crime of the two things.

The female Fanatic made a right turn at the next street. She drove down two more streets and made another right turn. She pulled up at a building. There were a few other vehicles parked in front of it. She left the van there and took off on foot. She thought it would be best if she took a closer look on foot. She should appear the same as anyone else from the area if someone looked at her.

She needed to think about what she heard and the way Grays treated females. They might try to put the grab on her, even if she was walking down the street.

Closing monologue by Cameron:

My Favorite Part

Some have said
To each their own
Are they words of wisdom
When one ends up alone

No one is a rock
No matter how hard they try
Sooner or later
They'll be made to cry

Do feelings make one strong
Do they make them weak
Perhaps it's more about
What it is they seek

To rush things along
Is to go nowhere fast
Build on a shaky foundation
Nothing will flourish or last

True love like a dart
Will find the right heart
Then it is time to start
It's my favorite part
