Chapter 1250
I'm Not Going
Holly left with Jan and Summer. She wanted to give the girls something to do rather than stay around and wait for everyone else to get ready. She was mainly worried about the direction the conversation would go. She knew it could get quite crude at times, especially with Jesse there. She didn't think the girls needed to hear any more than they normally heard. They would meet up at the dining room.
John could see everyone was ready to go. He was a little surprised the girls went ahead. It made him wonder if it was done for targeting reasons. If someone were going to ambush the group, they would want the main group. He decided not to ask or even mention it. It would probably create a lot of apprehension among the Terminators if he did. He felt they were in a relatively safe environment. He did need to remember though, no place was ever safe. He looked at Cameron.
"I think we're ready." John said. "You wanted to get there early."
Cameron smiled at John. She led the procession towards the elevator. She saw Sheila, Ally, and Jim all went to work to clean and straighten the suites as soon as they left. She really hoped they would go out as soon as they finished up. She wanted them to do other things. The ship was at sea. There shouldn't be much to worry about. CamNet oversaw everything which occurred on the ship and around it, as well as everywhere else. John Henry and his server were available as well.
The elevator door opened as they approached. CamNet took care of them. They went inside of the elevator. The floor for the dining room was already selected. It was crowded with the full group.
"Are we all going to fit?" John asked.
Sarah pointed at the small sign over the elevator controls. She wouldn't want to be inside of the elevator with more people. It would be very crowded, maybe there was another consideration.
"It says it holds eighteen people." Sarah said. "There is probably also some type of weight limit."
Cameron quickly did the math. She didn't want any issues. The safety of the team came first. She knew the elevator could actually handle more weight than what the limit said it was. They weren't anywhere close to the limit.
"We're not over the weight limit." Cameron said. "Everything is fine. It will be a cozy ride. Everyone will remain nice and warm as they're pressed together."
Riley wanted to liven the mood some. She took a quick glance at Derek. She wanted to make sure he looked like he was in a good mood before she said anything.
"You ladies need to watch out." Riley said. "I don't want Derek to cop a feel from anyone in these close quarters. He'll say it was an accident."
Derek was a little offended. He might have 'thought' about doing it, but he would never actually do it.
"Hey!" Derek said.
Cameron didn't want any discourse.
"Accidents happen." Cameron said. "It's nothing to worry about. Everything is fine."
Gail thought of her earlier interaction with Derek and Kyle.
"Derek is quite the gentleman." Gail said. "So is Kyle."
Riley didn't want it to get personal.
"I was just joking." Riley said.
Sarah was a little surprised at what Gail said. She thought it was a nice compliment. She didn't want Kyle to get a big head from it. She went along with the playful mood.
"In that case, it better be Kyle who's groping my behind." Sarah said.
The next statement surprised all of them.
"As long as it isn't John, you're OK." Cameron said.
John looked a little embarrassed. It made him think of some of his earlier thoughts when he was younger and he would spy on his mother when she would get cleaned up.
Everyone else seemed to enjoy this statement. It produced a real genuine round of laughter.
Kyle didn't want things to get away from them.
"It looks like the males are being unfairly targeted." Kyle said.
Sarah wasn't done joking yet.
"I think all the females have been accurately 'targeted' for the last few hours." Sarah said.
It brought another round of laughter.
Derek felt he was overworked in the bedroom.
"We only do what we're told to do." Derek said.
Kyle nodded in agreement. He wasn't sure how much longer he was going to be able to keep it up. It was something which was more than a thought. It was actually something physical.
"Tell me about it." Kyle said.
Sarah still tried to keep everything good natured.
"It's the way it should be." Sarah said. "You need to serve some purpose."
Claire felt someone cop a feel.
John was standing next to her.
Claire looked at him. She wasn't going to say anything.
John saw the hand come from behind him. He didn't want Claire to think it was him.
"It wasn't me." John said.
Claire glanced back. It was Jesse playing around.
They smiled at each other.
Claire looked back at John. She was ready for a little more. When she was done having Allison's children, she wanted another one of her own. She wanted a traditional conception as well.
"Maybe it was an instructional hint." Claire said. "Now you know what to do, for starters."
Cameron was immensely pleased with Jesse and Claire's behavior. She hoped for them to take a more sexually aggressive stance on the ship. Maybe this was the first step. She would need to see what she could do to encourage it.
John was about to respond when the elevator stopped with a 'ding' noise and the door opened.
Jesse was in back of Claire. She copped a double feel.
"It looks like you were saved by the bell." Jesse said. "You can practice on me on the way up."
John wasn't sure if Jesse referred to Claire or him. He glanced at Cameron. It seemed like a good idea not to ask.
Claire was a little disappointed. She would rather have her 'bell' rung. She just wanted it to be rung one time when she was with a male. If John couldn't do it, she was going to ask for one of the male Terminators. She thought about asking Cameron to be the one in control of the male chassis when it occurred.
Jesse didn't want to be left out of the equation. She brushed up against John as she moved from behind him to Claire.
John looked at Jesse. He couldn't keep his eyes on Jesse's face. He looked at her barely covered nursing breasts. They were noticeably larger than Sheila's. He knew what every inch of Jesse would look like now, especially where the sun didn't shine. She was very different from Cameron in pigmentation, size, and shape. Some things could really stretch. He even told Cameron at one point to stop pulling on them. He didn't want there to be some type of damage.
Jesse made her breasts more prominent for John. She puffed them up and pushed them together. She moved her head close to his.
"I'll show them to you later on." Jesse whispered in his ear. "It's not like you haven't seen them 'before'. Well, I actually guess there are a couple of ways my statement could be interpreted, now."
John knew it was true. Jesse made sure he saw them as often as possible. It was something ongoing for years. It was long before she started nursing. He actually saw her topless almost from day one, and many times since then. He remembered the day she received her nipple rings from Cameron. She was very proud to show him. He was pretty sure Cameron orchestrated the entire event.
Holly was already in the foyer of the main dining room with Jan and Summer. They arrived a short time ago.
They all formed up into couples.
Hanna and Gail put Jesse and Claire together.
Gail stepped away from the group.
"I think I'll wait out here." Gail said.
Hanna joined her.
"I will as well." Hanna said.
Holly smiled at Jan and Summer.
"You can go with your mothers." Holly said.
Holly joined Gail and Hanna.
The three Metal girls all looked stunning in their formal dresses.
Summer looked at them. She didn't want there to be an injustice. She wanted everyone included. She decided to make a stand. There would be no exclusions on 'her watch'.
"I want them to come with us." Summer said. "If they don't, I'm not going in. I'll remain with them. Nobody gets left behind."
Claire wasn't sure if she should say something or not. It was rather sudden.
It was uncharacteristic of her to speak out so boldly. Because of it, when she spoke, people listened.
Jan looked at the Metal girls and looked at Summer. She moved over and took Summer's hand. It was a sign of solidarity.
"I'm not going in either." Jan said. "Summer is correct. I'll remain with them as well. Nobody should ever be left behind, especially intentionally."
Sarah didn't want to offer a reprimand or get into an argument, especially where they were at. She understood the Metal girls decision and why. She wanted to offer an explanation.
"They don't want to stand out by not eating." Sarah said. "They don't want to attract any unnecessary attention to our group."
Summer felt something deeper. It was about unity. It was about equality.
"I want them to go with everyone." Sumner said. "We're all on the same team. We're all the same. We're all equal. We can work something out."
She knew what the situation was with the amount of food not consumed from many of the plates. She saw it in all the eating establishments she already visited. It shouldn't be a big deal. She didn't want to mention it specifically yet. She would if she needed to. She didn't want to give any of the people from the future bad recollections about lack of food. She knew every story there was to know about it. Well, at least the stories they told to others. She knew there was always more to every story.
Summer and Jan went and stood with the Metal girls. Both of them grew up with Terminators around them their entire lives. It was what they truly felt. Where they were at now was a special occasion and the cyborgs shouldn't be excluded because they were cyborgs.
Holly, Hanna, and Gail all looked a little emotional at the show of support from Summer and Jan.
Sarah watched it all. Things sure were different now than they used to be. She wanted to offer a solution. There were ways to work around problems. Some of them were more involved than others. She didn't think dinner would be too difficult of a problem. She glanced at the three males in the group. She watched them eat earlier.
"We can all eat a little extra from their plates clandestinely." Sarah said. "Kyle, Derek, and John can help them out. They already eat enough for two people each. This will give us all the opportunity to try a few more things on the menu. It won't hurt to leave a little behind under the circumstances. I agree with Summer and Jan on this one and why."
Summer looked at Cameron but didn't say anything. They stared at each other for a few seconds.
Cameron felt Summer issued a 'challenge' to her.
It was also clear everyone was on Summer's side. So was she.
Cameron looked at John and nodded. She wanted him to voice the decision in front of the others. He was the official leader of the Resistance. It was time he followed the advice of one of the youngest members of the Resistance.
John was very pleased with what he heard and witnessed. He was pleased when he saw the nod from Cameron. It was a green light all the way around.
"Nobody gets left behind." John said. "We go as a group, because it's what we are."
Holly, Hanna, and Gail all looked thrilled to be included.
The group entered the dining room together. Their waiter and assistant waiter were ready for them.
Jesse and Claire were very impressed as soon as they were taken inside. They visited the inside earlier when there was no activity. Now everything was set up and looked even fancier.
When they reached the tables, there were still three empty chairs once they were seated. There was space there for Ally, Sheila, and Jim as well.
Summer looked at Cameron and smiled. She understood Cameron provided space for all of them already. Cameron smiled back at her. It was clear Cameron was one step ahead of her, for now. She always was told to never underestimate Cameron and CamNet by extension. She thought she was able to hold her own in her dealings with CamNet. Maybe she needed to reconsider and up her game a little.
They were all able to watch the sunset. The ship was on a modified course from normal so they would have the best view from their table. This time they saw it from the side window rather than the rear window since they were headed in the same direction as the sunset was. The ship would follow its modified course until the sun was down for a short time.
The Metal girls all watched the sun go down. They never understood why it made a difference when the sun 'came up' or the sun 'went down'. It was all based on the rotation of the Earth and its relationship to the sun itself. The tilt of the Earth and its rotation is what indicated when the perceived events would occur. It was a repetitive pattern which existed for millions of years. Somehow under the current circumstances, and with the company they were with, it did seem to have a special meaning. It meant they were part of it because of who they were. There were no machines or humans right now. There was only the Resistance team. They were all very appreciative of what Summer did. Sunsets would always have special meaning to them going forward. It would be a reminder when they were considered as equals. It didn't matter who or what anyone was. They were all equal.
Holly, Hanna, and Gail still looked at the horizon once the sun was below it.
'Now we share.'
The Metal girls all look at Summer. They were sure they heard her voice. They weren't sure she actually spoke.
She smiled at the three of them and winked.
CamNet returned the ship to its normal course once the sun was down and the light faded on the horizon.
Earlier:
Sheila would have preferred to work alone. She wasn't really sure why. Sometimes she thought she should feel differently than the way she felt. She would have preferred if Ally and Jim would have joined the team in the dining room. It wasn't the case. Ally stayed to help her when she didn't need to. Jim felt he was only doing his job.
"I'll start with Derek and Riley's room." Sheila said. "It's a little smaller. You two can work together on the larger suites."
Jim thought it was a more efficient approach. He wanted to get started.
"We'll begin in the Master Suite." Jim said. "We'll take care of both rooms there."
Ally wanted to work with Sheila but thought maybe she wanted to be 'alone' still. She didn't want to press the issue. She didn't understand what the big deal was. Sheila just spent some personal time with Jesse only a short while ago.
"Sure." Ally said. "Everything will be perfect in no time."
Sheila took some clean sheets and fresh towels with her. She remembered to bring a fresh bar of soap as well as a new shampoo bottle and hand lotion. They were about three times the size of the ones for the regular cabins. They were all of the best quality.
She straightened the bathroom first and moved into the bedroom. It was clear the bed must have been used multiple times. After the bed was made, she spotted something fly off the cover when she pulled it tight.
Sheila went and looked at it. She picked it up. It was a small blue pill. She moistened her finger and touched the pill.
She detected sildenafil citrate, microcrystalline cellulose, anhydrous dibasic calcium phosphate, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, lactose, triacetin, and FD and C Blue number two aluminum lake. She was aware of a common usage of the medication. It was a heart medication. There was also a secondary usage discovered for it. It was now the primary usage. It was to improve sexual function for a male.
Sheila looked at the pill. She wondered if it was Derek's or from the previous couple which occupied the room. She hadn't noticed it earlier.
She quickly straightened the rest of the room and looked around. She did a little more than just look. She actually began to search the room. It seemed to be more than just curiosity. She spotted a small bottle in Derek's personal kit. She saw it was the same medicine. It was evident he obtained it in Mexico. She was pleased he actually received legitimate medicine. She wasn't so sure it was something tourists always received. More than likely one of the male Terminators assisted him. She hoped no one needed to get busted up if they tried to pull a fast one.
She was going to put the pill back with the others but hesitated. If Cameron was going to use her chassis again, John might need a 'little help'. She was willing to bet they carried some of the medicine in the infirmary onboard. It was actually a heart medicine originally. She carefully put the pill back on Derek's side of the bed on the floor. She thought Riley should get the full benefit from Derek's 'medicine'. It would be up to Derek to keep it or trash it if he spotted it. She would see if it was still there tomorrow.
Sheila hurried back to the Control Center and checked the medications onboard. She typed in a few commands and covered up what she did in the ship's computer system. She was aware CamNet would have observed what she did. She half expected there to be some type of intervention. There wasn't. She exited the Control Center right before Jim and Ally finished with the Master Suite.
"You can check operations, Jim." Sheila said. "I'll finish up with Ally. Thank you for your service."
Jim looked a little hesitant.
Ally didn't think it was a big deal. She wanted to work with Sheila.
"It's fine, Jim." Ally said. "We have it covered. Maybe we'll go out afterwards. You can go with us, or with one of us, and the other one will stay here."
Ally looked at Sheila. She wanted to make her intentions clear without elaborating. There were multiple things they could do afterwards.
Sheila could feel Ally reach out to her. She didn't want to reject her.
"Sure, love." Sheila said. "We'll hang out together."
Sheila needed to pick up a small package from the infirmary. It would be waiting for her.
Ally could still see a far off look on Sheila's face. She wanted to give her an added incentive. She wasn't really sure if it was a good idea or not. She still wanted to mention it.
"We can even stop by the casino if you don't overdo it there." Ally said. "You can have fun, but just don't get carried away. Remember, the money actually belongs to CamNet.
Sheila didn't want to create an incident or get Cameron angry at her. She wanted Cameron to use her chassis again later on. She wanted more of the same 'experience', even if it was Cameron who did it. Maybe it was the 'love' she craved more than the 'sex' from Cameron's and John's experience.
She wondered what she would feel if she was giving her 'one time' with John. She knew for sure it would be sex. She didn't know if it would be more. Would she feel the same love for John as Cameron did? Would she feel the love Jesse felt for John? Would she feel her own love for John? She really didn't know. She wanted to find out. The main thing was to stay off of the radar and in the good graces of Cameron. Perhaps a little restraint was in order.
"I'll use moderation." Sheila said. "I want to look around on deck four later on."
Ally checked her files. It seemed like an unusual place to go.
"What's there besides the Medical Center?" Ally asked. "The only other option would be for disembarkation. I'm not walking back to shore underwater."
Sheila thought of the song, 'Happiness Is A Warm Gun'.
"Happiness…." Sheila said.
Ally tilted her head slightly. She really didn't know what Sheila meant. Maybe when they got down to deck four she would ask her. Currently, the giant smile on Sheila's face was priceless. She hoped to keep it there as long as possible.
"Let's get crackin'." Ally said. "It won't get done thinking about it."
Sheila thought about Ally's words. She intended to do both….
A short time ago:
Cammy and Savannah waited for the operation against the Fanatics to go down. Young Allison was behind the new procedure. She was going to try a new approach.
The sun was about to set. Twilight slowly crept in.
"It is almost 'Showtime'. The operation is about to begin." Cammy said.
Savannah reached over and took Cammy's hand as the sun went down. Cammy glanced at her for a moment and watched the sunset. She didn't think it was a very spectacular sunset. It made her wonder what it would be like to watch from the ship. She quickly pushed the thoughts from her mind. They were in the middle of an operation.
They watched the drone footage from their phones. There were several angles available to them of the suspected Fanatic's facility.
They spotted the truck cab, or tractor, from the big rig Cam took down. It now pulled a gasoline tanker trailer. It carried four thousand gallons of gasoline and four thousand gallons of diesel fuel. It was appropriated from a truck stop. The previous driver of the tanker was fast asleep in his tractor. Cameron's Terminator was instructed to give him a sedative instead of termination. It was a point stressed by Young Allison. It was her plan after all. All they needed from him was his trailer. They didn't need his tractor or his life.
They watched the big truck approach the building. There was a 4X4 pick up truck driving right alongside of it. Neither vehicle slowed down. A figure exited the truck cab and jumped into the back of the 4X4. It rapidly slowed and turned off. The big rig continued onward. The dead truck driver was alone in the cab.
The big rig went up the driveway at a fast speed and smashed through the lobby area and disappeared inside the building. Debris flew in all directions. There was a lot of dust in the air for a long moment. There was a massive explosion as the gasoline vapor from the ruptured tank exploded. It in turn set the rest of the gasoline and diesel fuel on fire. The roof of the structure was blown apart and two of the concrete walls collapsed. There were Terminators concealed at a safe distance on both sides of the structure in case anyone made it out alive. There was no sign of movement from the raging inferno.
Savannah knew people were just killed inside of the building. She didn't worry about them. They were the enemy. The goal of the enemy was to take over the world. It would be done by destroying the world and much of everything everyone ever knew.
"It was quite impressive." Savannah said.
Cammy wanted Savannah to know it was Young Allison's handiwork.
"It was Young Allison and CamNet working together." Cammy said.
Savannah noted again Young Allison was willing to kill without remorse.
"We both know it was mostly Young Allison." Savannah said. "I better not get her angry at me."
Savannah thought it would be a terrible way to link up, on fire.
Cammy thought Savannah was the last person who would need to worry about being on Young Allison's 'list'.
"I don't think you need to worry." Cammy said.
They continued to watch the drone footage.
Savannah thought there would be more in the way of 'fireworks' once the building itself was attacked.
"I thought there would be a secondary explosion." Savannah said.
Just as she finished her sentence, there was another massive explosion and the remaining two walls collapsed. There was now only a burning pile of rubble. No one escaped the building earlier. It was clear no one would escape now.
"Maybe I spoke too soon." Savannah said. "I think it confirms they were the Fanatics."
Cammy was satisfied everything at the location was neutralized.
"It appears like it." Cammy said. "I don't think there are any survivors."
Savannah looked at the burning pile of rubble. She figured the only person who could ever get out of it would be a Terminator. If they did, they would simply be a bare endoskeleton with no sheath covering.
They knew John Henry would suppress any emergency response for as long as it took for everything there to burn up completely.
"There will be two teams of Cameron's Terminators to watch over the building and check it for anything of value or interest." Cammy said. "Two drones will remain on station and search for anyone who seems overly interested in what happened there."
Savannah knew there was always the risk one or more of the enemy might be out and away from the building. She was sure at more than one location they'd taken down, there were survivors who hadn't been at the location. They never knew if the individual would turn into a sleeper of some sort, or simply drift away. She thought the Fanatics would probably press on with their original mission since it was what they believed in.
They always sent teams out to do recon and surveillance. It was safe to assume the various groups of the enemy did the same thing. It was doubtful very many of their take downs were able to kill all of the enemy at one time. The explosive nature of Fanatics in general, gave her something to worry about. They needed to think about some of their past tactics.
"Have them watch for any motorcycles." Savannah said. "We've encountered Fanatics using them before."
Cammy was ready to move on.
"I think it is time to concentrate on our next target." Cammy said.
Savannah wanted it to be a little darker. The next target was a fixed location. It wasn't going anywhere.
"I want to wait until it is completely dark." Savannah said.
Cammy didn't see the need to wait. She actually wanted to go in earlier. She wasn't sure if Savannah was going to go with her or not. She didn't want her to. She wasn't sure if Savannah would have second thoughts about what she would face. They would need to go underground. We would be in the drainage system of the building. Someone was down there for a reason. They needed to find out what it was.
Seconds ago:
Anna and Young Allison watched the events unfold from the Young bunker.
"It's about to happen." Anna said.
Young Allison watched the big rig close in on its target.
"I can see it." Young Allison said. "I want to make sure our team gets away clean."
Young Allison and Anna watched the 4x4 truck move away with the driver from the cab of the big rig. Seconds later there was an explosion as the big rig plowed into the building followed by the secondary explosion.
Anna watched Young Allison's face as the events occurred.
"Is it what you wanted?" Anna asked.
Young Allison was satisfied with the results. It looked like a tragic traffic accident.
"It's what I wanted." Young Allison said. "None of our troops were damaged. The threat was neutralized and the enemy terminated. I'm pleased with the effort and results."
Anna knew it could change in an instant.
"None of the troops were damaged, at least not yet. It needs to play out more." Anna said. "It was all Cameron's Terminators who did everything."
Young Allison didn't see a difference. They may not work directly for John, but they worked for Cameron. The goal was the same, even if different methods were used.
"They're still Resistance Terminators." Young Allison said. "I'll make sure they're given as safe of operating conditions as I can."
Anna reminded her they operated outside of the Resistance at times.
"They do things we don't know about too." Anna said.
Young Allison believed the goals were common and it was all that mattered in the end. She briefly glanced up at the security monitor.
"I trust CamNet to watch over them as I do our Terminators." Young Allison said. "I know she heard me say so. I know she knows it's the right thing to do. I know she knows it's what both Savannah and I want."
Anna was assured by CamNet she tried to operate within Savannah's and Young Allison's guidelines.
"CamNet will use caution when possible." Anna said. "She what's Savannah and you want. She also knows John wants the same things for the same reasons."
Skynet and its illegitimate offshoots were the common enemy.
Young Allison wanted to make sure her intentions were clear.
"Everyone on our team deserves respect and to be watched over." Young Allison said. "Every individual matters."
Anna tracked Cammy and Savannah as they headed into the next target location.
"Cammy and Savannah are moving into position." Anna said.
There was a specific concern Young Allison felt. She was worried about the earlier incident. She was also worried about several previous incidents.
"I don't want Savannah to go with Cammy or Cam." Young Allison said. "She's spent enough time underground today."
It was really a diplomatic way of saying Savannah was almost killed once today, maybe several times over.
Anna felt there was a good alternative.
"Cam will go with Cammy." Anna said.
Young Allison wanted to keep the backdoor open.
"Savannah can join up with Steve and Tom." Young Allison said. "We need to make sure the way out remains open and no one else approaches. It's a dead end system based on Cam's reports from when she was last under the place. We haven't detected any changes externally. Someone was down there for a reason. We need to know what the reason was."
Anna received more good news.
"Al and Ed are available now to back all of them up." Anna said.
Young Allison was anxious to move everyone into position as soon as it was dark enough. They weren't exactly sure who or what they would find.
"We may need them if we encounter anyone snooping around." Young Allison said. "When it's dark, they can move out."
They listened to Savannah say almost the exact same thing to Cammy.
It was dark when Cammy headed out. She would approach from the south side. With the darkness, the drones on patrol dropped down in altitude. They would be able to render close air support if needed. They would be in gun range, ready for an instant fire support mission.
Steve and Tom let Cam off on the north side of the drainage channel and drove to where Savannah waited behind the wheel of the SUV.
They pulled up alongside Savannah. They both faced in the same direction. She got out of her SUV and checked to make sure both of them wore their vests. She gently touched both of them on the cheek. They appreciated the personal level of contact and her concern for their well being.
Savannah wasn't worried about where she was at. She was worried about where Cam and Cammy were at. She wanted to make sure there would be help for them if it became necessary. She already made up her mind what she was going to have them do.
"I want both of you to be ready to reinforce Cam and Cammy." Savannah said. "We're going to lose contact with them soon. There are spots where Cam said she can reach the surface to communicate every now and then. If there's a fifteen minute span without any communication, you'll both go in after them."
Steve and Tom looked at each other. They were to watch over Savannah. It would be a conflict their orders.
"We're to remain with you." Steve said.
Savannah figured those instructions came from the Young bunker. She didn't want to countermand them. The solution was easy. She wanted Cammy and Cam backed up. It's what she would do for anyone.
"I'll go with you then." Savannah said. "We'll all go in to assist. It's an effective strategy. Three of us can provide more assistance than two can."
Steve thought Savannah negated their mission with the change in plans. He felt it would put Savannah in danger if they needed to go in at all. He didn't want to make an issue of it.
"We will if you insist." Steve said.
She wanted to remind them there was additional assistance if it was required.
"I do insist." Savannah said. "Al and Ed will have to come and make sure our exit stays open."
Tom knew Savannah wouldn't quit on any of them or leave anyone behind. It didn't matter the risk or peril to herself.
"We've received orders from CamNet to follow your lead on anything." Tom said. "I know you'll make sure all of us are protected as best as possible. We will do the same for you."
Savannah knew anything could happen.
"I'll try my best." Savannah said. "We have four drones on station."
Steve appreciated the 'Chosen Ones' would watch over all of them.
"Young Allison watches over all of us too." Steve said.
Savannah felt everyone was only doing their job.
"We're all in this together." Savannah said. "One hand washes the other. We all need to watch each other's back."
The Terminators all saw it differently at this point. It was the 'Chosen Ones' who cared about them and watched over them personally. They all saw the recorded images from drones, body cams, and Terminator files of Savannah in action. More than once she was the only one left in the fight. She protected the Terminators who were incapacitated. It meant something to all of them.
John Henry coordinated with CamNet. Everything was going as they planned. He was still trying to run down the anti-Metal lead.
He hoped Cammy and Cam would be out by the time he did. He didn't want Savannah to go off with Tom or Steve to run down the lead.
If the anti-Metal group was on the move, he was sure she would.
A new thought crossed his mind. She might send Steve and Tom, as well as Al and Ed, after Cam and Cammy if there was a problem. She might decide to go after the anti-Metal group on her own.
Allison, Vanna, and Samantha finished up earlier.
They all shared with each other.
Allison dressed and said she was going to check in with John Henry.
Vanna nursed Precious.
Samantha sent out her report to Riley. Everything was well with Precious. She wanted to make herself more useful and do what she felt was her job.
"I can stay here with Precious when she's done." Samantha said. "I know you have other things to do."
Vanna was very happy about being able to share with Samantha. The fact she was almost physically identical to Claire at this point was an added bonus.
"We've spent a lot of time together the last two days." Vanna said.
Samantha was very pleased with her sexual freedom, even if it was of limited duration.
"I was able to share with all of you. It was very beautiful." Samantha said.
Vanna wondered what would happen when Riley returned.
"Will Cameron force you to be celibate again?" Vanna asked.
It seemed probable to Samantha.
"I believe it's most likely." Samantha said.
Vanna didn't like the restrictions.
"I can speak to Cameron about it." Vanna said.
Being able to be around Precious was more important to Samantha at this point.
"I would rather continue my assignment with Precious and not cause any friction." Samantha said. "I adore her. It is what I would rather do more than anything."
Vanna couldn't help but feel like an intruder into Samantha's world. She checked the time.
"I need to find out about Savannah." Vanna said.
Samantha wanted to be with Savannah.
"I would like to spend some alone time with her." Samantha said.
Vanna knew they were out on an operation. She wasn't exactly sure what the operation was currently.
"We need to see what will happen." Vanna said. "Cam and Cammy are out there too."
Samantha wanted to remind them there was plenty of pleasure to go around.
"There's one Metal girl for each of you." Samantha said.
Vanna didn't think sharing was an issue. She hoped there was some way Samantha could be worked into the mix. She didn't see why it couldn't be. She figured if nothing else, she could ask Cam to do a chip swap with Samantha. She was pretty sure she would be more than willing to do so. She was aware all of the female Terminators swapped chips for a week at a time with the other female Terminators. The only problem was Sheila. She would usually abuse some parts of the sheath before she returned the chassis to its original owner. So far everything regenerated and functioned as normal.
"We'll work something out." Vanna said. "We switch very often anyway. It's what everyone wants. I know it is what you want too."
Samantha was unsure of her future.
"I crave my sexual freedom." Samantha said. "I've been very restricted up until now."
Vanna thought the root of the problem was Derek and Riley separating and Riley becoming 'available' to John.
"I think Cameron is worried about Riley or possibly Derek becoming involved with you." Vanna said. "She doesn't want their relationship tarnished, especially now with Precious."
Samantha felt since she was with Derek and Riley all the time, she should have first choice if they wanted to expand their relationship.
"If it's something they both want and agree to, it should be an option given to me first." Samantha said.
Vanna was a little worried now. She wondered how far things may have progressed unofficially.
"Was this something you discussed with them?" Vanna asked.
Samantha listened to their conversations. Being in standby was very boring.
"I've heard them talk." Samantha said. "Riley seeks to have a female lover on the side. She mentioned it to Derek before. She felt very ostracized over the years. She felt she was punished for something she didn't do. It's bothered her immensely over the years."
Vanna knew it was all of their faults. They all wanted to 'protect' Cameron. She thought she should feel guilty, but she didn't. It was because of the circumstances. Things needed to be how they were for Cameron at the time. It wasn't that time anymore.
"It's my fault." Vanna said. "We all kept our sexual distance from her so we wouldn't hurt Cameron. It's a long story."
Vanna always desired to be with Riley. It was just a bridge she couldn't cross.
Samantha knew about the trouble with Future Riley and how it affected Cameron. It seemed to her it was something which should have been resolved years ago.
"I'm aware of it." Samantha said.
Vanna finished nursing Precious. She was going to change her and watch over her. She could see Samantha wanted to do what she normally did on a daily basis. She didn't want to make Samantha feel like she wasn't good enough. She smiled at Samantha and offered Precious to her.
Samantha took her from Vanna to change her. She looked very pleased at the opportunity.
"Thank you." Samantha said.
Vanna decided she would go elsewhere. She wanted to make Samantha feel inclusive.
"I guess I should actually thank you." Vanna said. "Let me go check on Allison."
Samantha was back in her element again. She was very pleased.
"I'll take care of Precious." Samantha said. "Thank you, again."
Hank and Larry needed to get the electrical items they collected delivered to CamNet's other Terminators for further evaluation. They noticed the sun go down. They liked to operate under the cover of darkness. It was never a hindrance for them. It would actually make their next job a little easier.
Everything needed to be taken to a secure location for evaluation. The fact they may have some version of Skynet, meant they would need to use extreme caution and a very secure location.
They dumped the terminated Gray in a dumpster. They covered him with boxes. He would end up as a 'John Doe'. If he was ever found, his fingerprints would trace back to a teenager or child if there was a match. The bodies usually made it all the way to the dump without any issues. They sent more than a few.
Based on the drawing they took out of the safe, they had a crude layout of what the new facility would look like inside. It was clearly inside of a bunker or old mine based upon the layout. There was no location. They hoped the hard drives they currently possessed would give them some more specific details. They hoped it would have a location.
CamNet wanted to get the electrical gear from them before they moved on to the next location. It was time for them to do a vehicle swap anyway. They would meet another one of Cameron's Terminators and switch vehicles with them. There were two other buildings they wanted to check out. They also wanted to intercept the female Fanatic and terminate her.
The female Fanatic was at a park. She didn't see anyone around her. She watched the sun set behind the hills. It wasn't very spectacular. She began to look at the items she took from the building. She was sure the phones and the tablet could be traced. She wanted to get whatever information she could off of them and deactivate them. She didn't want to paint a target on her back.
She wanted to come up with another location where she could use the bomb. She gathered what information she could from the two phones and the tablet. They were clearly Skynet Grays from a future. She didn't know which future the Grays were from. The things which bothered her the most about the Grays, other than not being true believers, was the presence of the 'comfort bunks'. It was something which wasn't tolerated under SkyMaster.
There were quite a few text messages on each of the phones. She didn't have time to go through everything in detail. She needed to worry about the group who brought down the complex she was taken into. Right now they were unknown. They may have been the ones who actually brought her building down as well. She thought she was lucky and was able to get away. Maybe it wasn't the case at all. She wondered if she was tracked the entire time.
She hoped she wasn't currently being tracked. There was no way for her to know for sure. She didn't think her vehicle was tagged, but it was possible. She was inside of the complex for an unknown duration of time. There might be a tracker on her vehicle right now. She didn't think the anti-Metal Resistance would have access to any HK drones. It was more than likely some version of Skynet would. She didn't think they would operate them in the daylight. It wasn't daylight anymore. It actually was dark at this point. There was still some twilight to the west.
She opened the glove compartment and found a small flashlight. She turned it on. There was no light. She banged the flashlight on her other hand a couple of times. The light came on. She got out of the van to check underneath it in detail for some type of tracker. She would return to the interior and check it out as well. There were literally a hundred different places the tracker could be hidden. If an HK drone was on her. There was no avoiding it. If she was locked up with a missile, so be it. She was more than ready for Ascension.
Hank and Larry completed the switch. Cameron's Terminator took everything away along with their SUV. They now drove another SUV. It was stocked with a full complement of weapons. It even included a few LAW rockets. There was also a substantial quantity of C-4.
They reviewed the drone footage of where the female Fanatic went and how she transferred some items to a car from a building and then from the car into her van. They thought they would have to go to the building and see what occurred there. They knew one of the Grays went there.
Hank wanted to move things along.
"I think we're ready to take down the female Fanatic." Hank said. "She doesn't seem to have any other targets."
Larry looked at the image of the building and the park the female Fanatic was currently at.
"It's possible she obtained some targeting information on whatever items she carried from the car to her van." Larry said. "She may lead us to additional targets."
Hank could see they were closest to the building the female Fanatic entered and left with the items.
"We know where she's at, but not where she'll go." Hank said. "I'm sure she's reactivated the bomb by this point in time."
Larry was surprised to see her exit the van with a small flashlight. He could see her start to examine the underside of the van.
"She's looking for a tracker." Larry said.
Hank hadn't placed one on her van since he knew they would have drone support. Without the drone support, he would have put a tracker on it.
"She won't find one from us." Hank said.
CamNet informed them she was able to track the phones now in the van.
Hank and Larry watched the female Fanatic inspect her vehicle. They headed for the building she last was inside of. Since they knew a Gray went inside of it, and she left with his vehicle, he was more than likely terminated. Most likely the other individual he met with was terminated as well. There was no way to know how many others were terminated inside of the building.
The female Fanatic was under her van. She searched everywhere a tracker could be placed. She couldn't find one. It didn't mean there wasn't one there.
She was just about to come out from underneath the van. A car pulled up right next to her. She was irritated they would park so close with so many empty parking spots available. Her first thought was it might be a team of the enemy. Maybe they tracked her.
He reached down and touched the pistol in her waistband. She was about to pull it out.
"What's going on here?" The first voice asked.
She didn't think the enemy would ask if they knew who she was.
"Who wants to know?" The female Fanatic asked.
She could hear the crackle of a radio in the background.
"The police…." The second voice said. "Is this your vehicle?"
She didn't intend to go to jail. The van was stolen. The license plates on it were off of another vehicle. There was a bomb in the back of it. There was the blood of two deceased males inside of it. There were several more weapons in the back of it. There was no way she wasn't going to prison once they checked everything.
The female Fanatic reached down to draw her pistol. She would fight it out. If she was shot, she would activate her poison tooth. If she prevailed in the gunfight, she would drive away. It was never a good idea to stick around at the scene of a crime.
Closing monologue by Cameron:
I'm Not Going
Most will follow blindly
I'm not one of the herd
Many of the things you do
Are way beyond absurd
I'm not always sure
Of what it is you think
Your actions don't make love grow
They make it wither and shrink
Where are you headed
What is your goal
Nothing you try to do
Will ever make you whole
Drag yourself down on your own
Nobody wants a trip to nowhere
It's only yourself that you scare
Because you don't have the guts to dare
You'd better think twice
About away what you're throwing
On your quest to nowhere
I think you know I'm not going
Nobody
