Chapter 1294

That Was Fast

Richard and Michael were currently tailed by three vehicles they believed belonged to the anti-Metal group. Since there was no direct contact with the group, they weren't sure exactly as to who they actually were.

The man they were originally after was involved in a car to car shooting and an attempted carjacking. It involved what they believed was a car driven by a Fanatic. Upon further investigation he turned out to be a Gray. He wasn't from the further future the SkyMaster followers were from. The Gray was now terminated.

The Resistance operation was currently being aided by some of Cameron's Terminators.

Richard drove the SUV to a prearranged location. There was going to be an ambush set up by the Resistance. They wanted to take down the anti-Metal group who now pursued them.

Michael was between the front and rear seat hidden from view with a suppressed M4 with a M203 attached. He traded it for the M249 he earlier held. He planned to use it if they would have needed to battle the anti-Metal group on the street. They expected human targets so the M203 was loaded with a buckshot round. They wanted to try and keep the noise down.

John Henry watched the action unfold from a drone overhead. It was currently locked on to two of the cars with air to ground missiles. He didn't want to use them in the daylight if at all possible. They were an insurance policy. One way or another, none of the hostile vehicles were going to leave the target area.

"All three cars are still on you." John Henry reported. "Make a right on the next street and turn between the second and third buildings on the left side. The gap between those two buildings is the kill zone. They have twenty foot high walls. The buildings are eighty feet long. There will be a lot of concrete on each side of them."

Richard knew it would leave the pursuers nowhere to run. There was certainly nowhere to hide. The operation should be a 'turkey shoot'.

Michael knew the concrete walls would contain most of the bullets. There shouldn't be too many stray rounds able to escape the 'kill zone'. Collateral damage should be at a minimum.

"Affirmative…." Richard and Michael both said.

Richard checked his suppressed M4 with an M203 attached. It was next to him as he drove. They were both ready to use. It was loaded the same as Michael's The M249 was also available for Michael to use if it became necessary.

Al and Ed were already at the prearranged location. They waited for the others to arrive. They were across the street in a similar gap. They opened a large metal gate where Richard was headed. It blocked the passageway between the two buildings across from them. It was the 'kill zone'. It was the route the enemy would be led into.

They each carried a suppressed M4 with an M203. They currently loaded the M203 on both of them with a buckshot round. They expected to engage the anti-Metal group. Their targets should be human. Humans were always soft targets.

They wanted to keep any explosions to a minimum if possible. The suppressed rifles would keep the gunfire noise down significantly. The gunfire initiated on their end should be relatively quiet. They didn't know what the response would be from the enemy. There wouldn't be much they would be able to do about the noise generated by their weapons.

Richard sped up a little before he made the turn. The chase cars sped up with him. When he made the turn, he used a very heavy brake application. He slowed a lot. The maneuver brought the three cars up close to him as he neared the gap between the two buildings. He wanted to make sure they all followed him. He made the turn and punched it down the gap.

The three pursuit vehicles turned to follow the SUV between the buildings. They didn't expect him to slow so much. It was fine with them. They would make their move as soon as they got to the back of the buildings. There wouldn't be any eyewitnesses. They were now bunched tightly together.

The occupants of the first car saw the SUV they were after turn sideways. It blocked the path forward at the end of the two buildings. The driver of the first pursuit car began to realize they were set up. He stood on the brakes as two figures exited the SUV from the far side and began to fire at them. Their car was immediately disabled. They were stuck.

The second car didn't see what was about to happen and was caught off guard when the lead car suddenly slowed. The driver was still on the gas as the first car suddenly stopped. They impacted onto the back of it. They could hear faint gunfire as their car and the lead car ended up wedged at different angles between the two buildings. It didn't appear as if either vehicle would be able to move on its own

Both cars were shredded by heavy gunfire.

The third car lagged a little behind when he made the turn. He was able to avoid an impact with the first two cars. He was the man they tailed from the gas station. The man and his associate originally attacked a car they thought belonged to the Fanatics. They later determined it was driven by a Gray.

He could see the shooting in front of him. He went to go into reverse to try and get away and leave his comrades to their fate. There was now another SUV which pulled behind him and blocked his exit. In a few seconds, there were two men firing at him from each side. He was dead before he could move the shift selector into 'reverse'.

There hadn't been a single shot of return fire.

Young Allison's plan worked perfectly and contained the target vehicles. The noise level remained very low with the use of the suppressed weapons and the specific location.

Richard and Michael held their fire as soon as the third car entered the kill zone. They dropped back to each side of the cement walls on either side of the narrow passage.

They saw Al and Ed close the rear exit and open up on the third and second vehicle. They heard the distinct sound of two buckshot rounds fired from the M203 launchers.

The entire operation lasted twenty four seconds.

The four Terminators quickly checked the wreckage of the three cars. Only one neck needed to be snapped. Everyone else was already terminated. They collected the phones and weapons from the men. It appeared few of them would be salvageable.

Richard and Michael took all of those items. They drove around to the far side of the building to exit through a second gate. They closed it behind them. Al and Ed already closed and locked the sheet metal covered gate where the three cars were and entered from. They needed to shove the third car slightly forward so it would clear the gate.

Al secured the gate.

"That was fast." Al said.

Ed looked at the wreckage of the three cars.

"What about this mess?" Ed asked.

Al wanted to move on. There was a new target they needed to go to.

"We leave it for now." Al said. "We placed one camera across the street. John Henry can keep track of things for now. We can worry about it later."

Ed wanted to search the target location where the other chase cars emerged from. There was bound to be more of the enemy located there. It was doubtful all of them would have gone out.

"We need to go back and check their building." Ed said.

The two SUV's took off on different routes to go back to where the first man led them and picked up his reinforcements. They didn't know what they would face. There needed to be some follow up action to make sure all the targets were down. There was most likely still more at their base of operations. There was always more. It seemed like it never ended.

Young Allison and Anna watched the drone footage and the body cam footage of the ambush. It concluded more efficiently and quicker than envisioned. It spoke well of the Terminators who carried out the plan.

Anna thought Young Allison's plan was bold from the start.

"That was fast." Anna said.

Young Allison was pleased to see her plan worked and the kill zone was contained.

"It went well for our team." Young Allison said. "It was skillfully executed and done with rapid precision. I'm very pleased with the results."

Anna thought the plan had a lot to do with it. It was Young Allison's plan.

"Everything has been so far." Anna said. "Well, at least for our team. It was a good plan."

Young Allison noticed a slight increase in the gunfire noise.

"It sounded like the suppressor on one M4 burnt out a little at the end." Young Allison said.

Anna knew suppressed gunfire was immensely quieter than normal gunfire.

"They carry spare suppressors." Anna said. "The assault was at least seventy six percent quieter than unsuppressed rounds. It's doubtful anyone would have heard anything more than a few buildings away. Even if they did, it's doubtful they would identify it as any type of gunfire. The use of the buckshot rounds kept everything quiet as well. There was no need to use rounds, or a missile from a drone."

Young Allison hoped the encounter went unreported. They didn't need anyone to find the carnage they left behind. The area would be cleared later. They wanted to wait until darkness to deal with it.

"Did anyone call anything in?" Young Allison asked.

Anna checked with John Henry

"No." Anna said.

Young Allison wanted to cover their tracks. She wanted to think of the best way to deal with the cleanup.

"I want to have a street gang to blame this on in case anyone finds the ambush site before I decide how best to deal with it." Young Allison said. "We've used the technique before."

Anna was aware the contingency plan was ready to go into effect.

"CamNet is ready to act on it if necessary." Anna said. "She will actually get two gangs to fight each other there if it's required. The authorities will be notified before it all happens so they can respond appropriately and 'catch them in the act'. They're probably won't be very many survivors by the time the authorities arrive."

Young Allison used street gangs as patsies before. Anna cautioned her on doing it very often. She reminded her of the reoccurring trouble the Skynet group encountered with the Syndicate. It was something they needed to deal with as well. The street gangs as well as the international criminal gangs all needed to be dealt with. They were all potential future Scavengers in a Skynet future. She didn't see it as a loss to humanity in the slightest way. They were all criminals. Criminals affected those around them in a negative fashion in one way or another. She didn't see a downside to eliminating any of them. She knew it would never be all of them, but they could make a dent.

"Let's hope it's not necessary." Young Allison said.

It wasn't so much Young Allison was worried about the well being of the gang members as she was about perhaps some future use where she would need them to cover something else up.

John Henry was usually able to cover their tracks and get things taken care of.

"We should be able to deal with it ourselves." Anna said.

Young Allison wanted the shot up vehicles with their deceased occupants delivered to the 'deep blue'. They used the same method previously with the Syndicate. The 'Made Men' all 'slept with the fishes'. She didn't want to overtax their equipment.

"Three cars is a lot of weight. I think it's a heavy lift for the Blackhawk. It's just over its rated capacity." Young Allison said.

Anna didn't think it was a problem. Their Blackhawk was able to produce twenty five percent more power than a standard one. It increased its lift capacity as well.

"With the modifications to our Blackhawk, it should be able to do it." Anna said. "The air is always much cooler at night. Cool dense always gives it better lift as well."

Young Allison didn't want to needlessly endanger their Terminators. She didn't want to leave any room for error.

"I want a safety factory to make sure." Young Allison said. "I want everything double checked beforehand."

Anna was pleased with Young Allison's concern for the Terminators.

Young Allison turned her attention back to Savannah's operation.

"Nothing much seems to have developed where Cammy's team is." Young Allison said.

Anna updated with John Henry and CamNet. She didn't necessarily think it was a bad thing.

"They're in surveillance mode currently." Anna said.

Since they came up with a hard target, Young Allison hoped for more information.

"I know the Terminators are itching to hit the place." Young Allison said. "We need to see what else we can get."

Anna wanted to deal with the most current operation. They just took down three vehicles. Now it was time to do a little more. It was time to see how Young Allison would deal with the suspected anti-Metal group.

"What about the anti-Metal location the other two teams are about to return to?" Anna asked. "Do you want them to wait and see if anything else develops?"

Young Allison hoped things were done there. She thought everyone from the building joined in on the pursuit. There was no guarantee.

"I think we may have gotten everyone from their group." Young Allison said. "I don't know."

Anna checked for any signs of activity.

"The teams can do surveillance for now." Anna said. "There's been no communication traffic, to or from the location."

Young Allison wanted to try a different approach to make entry. It was a technique used by Sheila as a 'lost tourist' on a previous operation. The enemy literally opened the door and invited her in. Well, they didn't invite her in just to be social. They invited her in to put the grab on her. It was a mistake, a big one.

"If there is no traffic or change in energy usage in an hour, I think they can take a look." Young Allison said. "I would like to use a female Terminator to walk up to the front door."

Anna was aware there was only one female Terminator out in the field currently. She was at a different location.

"Cammy is with Savannah." Anna said.

Young Allison knew there was another female Terminator who should be available within an hour.

"Where's Cam?" Young Allison asked.

A monitor switched to a view of the lab. Vanna, Cam, and Precious were inside.

Young Allison studied the surveillance footage for a while as she took in Cam's beauty. She really wondered if she would ever look like her. They were all based on her DNA so she knew she would. She thought she was pretty close at this point in time. Somehow it just looked better to see Cameron or one of her clones naked. They always looked a lot better than Allison did. She thought they all looked better than she did. It just didn't look the same when she looked in the mirror either before or after her shower.

She needed to check herself from staring at Cam for too long. It was easy to do. She said she was going to ask the question at some point, so she just asked it.

"Why is Cam naked?" Young Allison asked.

Anna wondered the same thing herself.

"The reason is unknown." Anna said. "Her clothes are on the counter."

Vanna stopped and kissed Cam.

Anna wanted Young Allison to show some discretion. She didn't know how involved Vanna and Cam may become. It was clear either something just happened, or was about to happen of a sexual nature.

"We don't need to see this." Anna said. "How would you feel if it was you?"

Young Allison thought she would feel pretty lucky. She wanted to see it. She wanted it to be her. She also knew when to use restraint and tact.

"I guess we need to give them some privacy." Young Allison said. "I'm sure whatever the explanation is, it's a good one."

Anna went over the other options available at the Resistance base.

"Samantha still needs a few more days for her face to Resequence." Anna said. "CamNet has informed me Samantha and Allison are currently 'unavailable'."

It raised a few questions for Young Allison. She didn't ask them.

"I understand." Young Allison said.

It made Young Allison think. If Samantha was only a few days away from her Resequencing being completed, it meant she must look exactly like her mother 'everywhere'. It was clear Allison was 'turned on' by it or something. Now she wondered about it. Maybe she would ask Allison about it at some point. She knew how popular her mother was. Maybe Allison could tell her why. She believed it was for more than just her physical attributes. She thought her mother looked better than she did too. No doubt once she became active she would most likely be with Samantha as well. She knew each Terminator was their own person regardless of their appearance.

Savannah and Cammy were in surveillance mode at the new location. They tracked a Gray to the area. There was a lot of power being used at the new location so they knew they were on to something. Power usage by the enemy always constituted some type of additional problem. It was either because something illicit was being manufactured, or some type of power cell was being charged.

Savannah watched the other take down happen. It was relatively clean, smooth, and efficient. It was the start to finish time which impressed her the most.

"That was fast." Savannah said.

Cammy agreed it was very efficient.

"I don't believe there was any return fire." Cammy said. "Our team all used suppressed weapons. Not only was it fast, it was quiet as well."

Savannah remembered the Grays they battled with on the mountaintop near Palm Springs and the silenced MP5 weapons they encountered there. She pushed for suppressors on their rifles and silencers on their pistols after the encounter. They were all standard items now. It helped them remain in the shadows easier.

"It keeps any nosy people from hearing too much." Savannah said. "They will think they heard a jackhammer in the distance, even if they're relatively close to it. I don't think any of them will make the connection with gunfire."

Cammy didn't think a suppressed M4 was even as loud as a jackhammer.

"No reports were called in." Cammy said. "John Henry would have quenched them anyway. None of them would have gone anywhere."

Savannah looked at the building two blocks away.

"Whatever is going on in there is unknown." Savannah said. "They're going to know they got hit on the street and it was followed up on to where the injured man went. They have to suspect something is up by now. The Gray knows five of his colleagues were killed, and he was the sole survivor."

Cammy thought they were in for a surprise when someone looked in the back of the SUV. It was where the bodies of the Grays who were taken down inside the building were placed.

"They should have an SUV with five dead men now to prove it." Cammy said. "They will at least know what happened to their comrades if they're still there. It's fine with me. They can all terminate together."

Savannah knew the delay would have a negative effect for them.

"I'm sure they're armored up inside at this point." Savannah said.

Cammy was worried about it. She wanted to attack earlier. She wanted to go in and lead the strike herself. She wanted to do it right after the man arrived. She wanted to personally terminate him since he eluded her earlier. Now it was a different story.

"We should have attacked immediately." Cammy said. "It would be over."

Savannah was open to a missile attack after dark at this point. It wasn't something she would normally push for. It seemed everything was contained currently.

"The building isn't going anywhere." Savannah said. "We can always hit it with a drone strike when it gets dark. There are actually several options available with the drones."

She knew they could use 'metal hail' against the building itself to see if it stirred the occupants inside to make them try and flee. A certain amount of rounds impacting the roof were bound to get through at some point. It would be rather unnerving for those inside to hear it and not know what it was. If a missile was used, it would arrive silently. It could either be a gravity drop like a bomb, or arrive under rocket power.

Cammy was impressed with the explosive impact of the gasoline tanker strike which was used against the Fanatics. She knew they were other options open to them.

"I liked the gasoline tanker approach we used yesterday." Cammy said. "It was quite spectacular."

Savannah smiled and nodded. It wasn't every day when a 'traffic accident' was quite as spectacular. It was probably because they possessed footage of the incident from drones overhead, as well as at ground level.

"I'm sure CamNet can get us another one." Savannah said. "It did show a certain sense of style."

Anna and Young Allison watched the building the Grays were in from some drone footage.

"I think the Grays will try to run." Anna said. "We may see multiple vehicles go in different directions. They might all leave at once to prevent themselves from being attacked or captured."

Young Allison wanted to follow Savannah's lead for now. There were currently three teams on the ground around the building. They knew the building wasn't going to go anywhere.

"CamNet will provide more drones." Young Allison said. "We'll follow anyone who leaves."

Anna wondered if she should ask for more drones. It seemed like it was covered for now.

"There are eight drones available right now at Savannah's location." Anna said. "Do you want more?"

Young Allison thought they should have enough reinforcements available soon to back up Cammy's teams.

"We still have three drones with the other two teams of Terminators." Young Allison said. "I think the other operation is almost wrapped up for now."

Anna didn't think it would be too much longer for the other two teams to finish up.

"Once they clear the building they'll set up surveillance and come to reinforce Cammy's team." Anna said.

Young Allison worried about encountering some HK equipment. The massive amount of energy usage still bothered her.

"My concern at the current location is there may be HK Tracks or HK drones there." Young Allison said.

Anna pointed out another concern.

"John Henry and CamNet tracked down two more sets of boxcars. They were both empty." Anna said.

Young Allison was aware of what some of the previous boxcars yielded.

"That's a half a dozen HK Tracks and HK drones at a minimum." Young Allison said. "There may even be an HK Tread."

Anna knew the equipment posed a major threat.

"The HK equipment is somewhere." Anna said.

Young Allison didn't think it hurt to think big.

"I hope it was in the mine the H-bomb was used on." Young Allison said. "I bet some of it was anyway."

Anna was still unsure about the whole episode. There was something which deeply troubled her. It seemed there were too many things which just didn't add up.

"What if it was really another 'Allison' from a different timeline?" Anna asked.

Young Allison frowned. It was a very troubling thought.

"We've been over this." Young Allison said. "There's no way to tell."

Anna wondered how far Young Allison would go 'personally'.

"What would you do if you ran into her?" Anna asked. "You know what I mean."

Young Allison did know what she meant. She thought about it. She knew what the other girls shared. There were other things she would like to know as well.

"I'd probably do what every 'Savannah' and 'Allison' has done when they've encountered their alternate or Duplicate selves. It would be like I was experimenting on 'myself'. I don't think it would be a violation of my order." Young Allison said. "I would also try and find out what I could about their timeline too."

The concept led to another worry Anna thought about.

"We may need to worry about other Resistance members from a timeline that's gone wrong. They may come back to attack us at some point." Anna said. "We can't assume they would all be friendly."

Young Allison spoke with Jesse about what she would have done if she encountered Future Jesse. Jesse was even willing to go to Cameron's future and kill Future Jesse before she could be sent to the past. Evidently Future Jesse sent herself to the past. Her goal was to stop Cameron. There were a lot of things which could happen and a lot more could go wrong.

The reminder made her think about a past operation. It was a close one for her too.

"We almost lost all of our females with the H-bomb incident." Young Allison said.

The incident still troubled Anna.

"It's what I mean." Anna said.

It was a disturbing thought.

"We better stick with what is happening now." Young Allison said.

Anna went over all the information again. The past was the past until it wasn't. Someone could always go into the past and attempt to change it.

"We have enough to worry about going wrong right now as it is." Anna said.

They both silently pondered all the other things that could be induced into their spear of operations. It seemed like there were endless possibilities and there was always the unknown.

Young Allison still wanted Savannah to be her first. It was something she wished for and hoped for all of the time. She wanted Savannah to 'take her'. She wanted Savannah to teach her. What if she encountered a Duplicate version of Savannah? Would it still be the same? If Duplicate Savannah was willing to go all the way, she decided she would do it. It would still be 'Savannah', even if it wasn't Savannah. She didn't think a Duplicate version of any individual would ever want to terminate them since they were the same individual, even if they were in a different timeline.

What if it was a Duplicate John? With what was happening on the ship currently, she realized at some point she would simply be another 'notch' on John's belt. Would she want to be another 'notch' on Duplicate John's belt? She didn't think so. If she ever met Future John, she certainly didn't plan to be one on his belt either. She knew Cameron specifically threatened him to stay away from Savannah when she was there. She told him it would be the last female he was ever with as a man if he did.

It was probably the main reason why Cameron refused to be with Future John when she returned to her future. Cameron already believed Future John was the one who 'popped' her and then erased everything related to it.

Anna glanced over at Young Allison. She could see she was lost in thought.

"Were you going to return to the current operations at some point?" Anna asked.

Young Allison flashed Anna an embarrassed smile.

"I'm sorry." Young Allison said. "There's a lot to think about. It's best to stick with what's actually happening."

Young Allison thought there were too many 'what ifs'. Speculation didn't do anything worthwhile other than add to the troubles which already existed. There only was 'what was', not 'what if'.

John Henry wanted to wrap up the anti-Metal group and get those troops over to the other location.

CamNet informed him of the desire to use another gasoline tanker to attack the building. She also brought up the possibility of HK equipment being there.

He tracked down the building's ownership and utility usage to come up with a timeline of the operation.

John Henry found records dated to only a day after they brought down the old newspaper plant and steel mill facilities. It meant they missed some of the group. It was the group of Grays constructing HK equipment. They also found several Terminators associated with them at two different locations.

He sent out a new warning.

They always needed to worry whenever they took down a location that some of the individuals may not be present at the time. They always had personnel out doing other things. It was more than likely the other groups did as well. He thought about what if they were hit now and everyone inside the Resistance base was terminated. It really wouldn't put a dent in their operations at all with so many people being elsewhere, especially on the ship.

Samantha concentrated on Allison. She pushed her hard.

Allison finished for the fourth time.

"I need to rest." Allison said. "I need to catch my breath."

Samantha wanted to check on Precious too. She checked her phone to see where Vanna and Precious were.

"I'll need to go to the lab. Vanna and Precious are there." Samantha said. "I'll need to send an update to Riley soon."

Allison thought Cam left to go with them earlier.

"Is Cam with them?" Allison asked.

Samantha would need to check with John Henry first.

"I don't know." Samantha said. "I can call the Command Center, or we can go look in the lab."

Allison thought about going there naked. Since no one was at the base, she really didn't think it should be a problem if she were to walk around unclothed. Sheila did it quite frequently all the time anyway. She was sure it was just to show off any new ring placements on her sheath, a different gauge or a larger diameter.

"Let's get dressed and check it out." Allison said.

Allison thought about it a little more. It was the right choice. She didn't want to get into a bad habit. If something went wrong, she would rather have clothes on than not.

Earlier:

John Henry called Vanna and asked for her permission to use Cam for an operation.

Vanna didn't think it should depend on her.

"If she's needed to assist our team, you don't need to ask me." Vanna said. "The team always comes before an individual. We all know and understand the risks and complications."

John Henry wanted to be polite about it.

"I wanted to make sure because we're light on Terminators." John Henry said.

John Henry went over the plan with Vanna and Cam. He described the outfit he wanted Cam to wear.

Cam looked down at her naked figure.

"It doesn't sound like I'll need to put much on then." Cam said.

Vanna thought the description of the outfit seemed totally hot.

"I want to see you in the outfit myself." Vanna said. "I can't wait to take you out of it."

Cam felt Vanna could see more right now than with any clothing on.

"You can look at me now out of it." Cam said.

Vanna liked to see females dressed up nice and in provocative outfits as well as naked. She thought every female body was beautiful. She also didn't think it hurt to 'unwrap' one like a present as she removed each piece of clothing from it. It was exciting to see a little bit more as each piece came off. There was no way to know what anything was going to look like until she removed the final piece so she could get a good look. It didn't matter to her in the end. She always started right in any way. Everyone was different. No one could help the way they were born. No one could help what was done to them in a Scavenger camp either. The idea of Cam in a provocative outfit excited her.

"I still want to see it." Vanna said. "I like the way CamNet thinks."

They both knew it was most likely Young Allison who came up with the 'look' Cam was to have when she approached the anti-Metal faction's building. It would turn anyone's head and not seem like she was a Terminator. What Terminator would ever dress in such a manner?

The other groups from the future didn't know how far advanced the Resistance Terminators actually were. She thought Sheila's antics and jewelry were another perfect example. Who would even think they could possibly be a Terminator or a killing machine?

Jan thought they saw all the exhibits one time. Summer knew everything about them. She was ready to move on. She asked about swimming again.

Summer didn't want Jan to keep pushing on it.

"Holly promised us it would happen." Summer said. "Just chill out a little. You're going to give her a complex if you continue to doubt her."

Jan figured she better cool it. She didn't want to cause anybody any problems.

Holly spoke with Cameron and Kyle before she left with Bob and the girls.

Holly and Bob would go back with Jan and Summer to the ship. The two girls and Holly would go to the pool. Bob would go back to his assignment as the cruise line troubleshooter. Ken waited for them with the van when they left the Air And Space Museum.

Lou remained behind to watch the exterior of the Air And Space Museum.

Summer could see Holly looked a little sad.

"What is it Holly?" Summer asked. "What's wrong?"

Holly looked at Summer and gave her a faint smile.

"I couldn't help but think how when the machines here, the aircraft, were replaced with newer models, most of them were scrapped and a few were put on display." Holly said. "Those planes could all still do a job. It wasn't likely didn't work anymore or anything. There were just newer, more efficient, and more powerful machines to replace them."

Jan thought about what Summer warned her of earlier. She knew about Cameron's Air Force. Well, the Resistance Air Force of vintage aircraft.

"It's true." Jan said. "Most may have been replaced, but some haven't."

Summer thought about it for a few seconds. She was more than a little disturbed about the feeling she received from Holly.

"You're worried it might happen to you." Summer said.

It was a sobering thought to Holly.

"Yes." Holly said. "Maybe we'll all be replaced by Liquid Metal Terminators or some newer technology. We won't be needed anymore and most of us will be scrapped and a few put on display in a museum somewhere."

Holly imagined being affixed to a pedestal with her power cell and chip removed. How would it be any different than the aircraft she just looked at?

Summer wanted to ease Holly's fears.

"It will never happen with our Resistance Terminators." Summer said. "Savannah and Young Allison will never let it happen. I won't either."

Holly appreciated Summer's support. There were always unforeseen events which could occur.

"We don't know what the future holds." Holly said.

Summer wanted to put it in perspective for Holly. There were other things as equally disturbing to think about.

"What about the zoo?" Summer asked. "Don't you think it's where the few surviving humans could end up at if Skynet ever wins? I wouldn't want to end up in a cage."

Holly tilted her head slightly. It sounded worse than being in a museum. Maybe Skynet Terminators would stand around their cages and watch them mate from time to time. She understood it happened with some of the animals at the zoo. Nothing was written in stone.

"OUR future isn't yet written." Holly said.

Summer wanted to give them all some inspiration.

"WE are the ones who'll write it." Summer said. "We all have something to fear. We all have something to fight for."

Ken drove the small group back to the ship. It seemed everyone raised a few points for him to think about. A Skynet future didn't sound any more promising than an anti-Metal future did.

Jan was excited as she spotted the ship when they neared the port. It was hard to miss with its huge size. She saw the aircraft carrier parked off to the side. It only looked to be about half as tall as the cruise ship. She wondered if there was a swimming pool on the aircraft carrier. She doubted it. She looked over at Summer and smiled.

Summer could tell Jan was highly motivated about going in the pool on the ship. They were actually several of them. She wondered which one Jan would choose.

Ken stopped the van right outside of the entrance to the security zone. Bob got out followed by Jan and Summer. Holly brought up the rear.

They boarded without problems.

The Metal girls sat out most of the spa treatments. They mainly watched the human girls get pampered and spoiled.

Claire looked over at Hanna.

"I hope you're paying attention to this." Claire said.

Hanna watched the way the female masseuse touched Claire.

"I am." Hanna said.

Sarah enjoyed the pampering too.

"I'll even let one of you do this for me when we get back." Sarah said.

Sheila was up for it.

"If you're dressed like that, I will." Sheila said. "I'll be your personal masseuse. I'll take care of any spot on your body you think needs some attention. I guarantee any spot is going to feel a lot better when I'm done or you're finished."

Sarah understood the full implications of what Sheila indicated. She didn't think it would hurt to try it one time and see what it was like. If she could have a choice, it would be Claire. She didn't want to mess anything up with Claire and Jesse.

Sheila only wore a towel around her waist

Sarah took in Sheila's freshly installed nipple rings.

"If you're dressed like that, I'll let you." Sarah said.

It brought a round of laughter.

Sarah and Sheila locked eyes. They weren't joking.

Sheila reached up and casually touched one of her rings. She rotated it back and forth a couple of times while she looked at Sarah.

Sarah toyed with the idea of getting a set of rings for herself ever since she saw Isabel-Cameron with a set. If she didn't end up pregnant again soon, she would do it. She still hoped she could get pregnant one more time. Maybe with all the sexual activity on the ship it would finally happen. She really thought it would have happened over the last few years.

She glanced over at Jesse. She remembered the troubles the girls from the future all experienced. She knew how hard it was for Derek and Riley to have Precious. She was very thankful for what she already was able to have.

Claire always felt something special when she was around Sarah. She wanted to let Sarah know she was interested. Everyone would think she was joking. She didn't think Sarah would.

"I'd like to give it a try, Sarah." Claire said. "I'll be dressed like this."

Claire was face down on a massage table with only a small hand towel draped over her rear end.

The girls all laughed.

It was a bonding experience for all of them.

Both the Metal girls and human girls realized how similar they all were, even if they were all totally different.

All the talk and activity stimulated Riley highly. She wanted to join in and say some of the same things the other girls were able to say. She wasn't sure how she would be received. What if she said something and no one responded? It was a possibility. What if she said something and everyone responded? She would need to let things play out on their own.

Both Riley and Sarah were highly motivated to share with a female again after seeing so many beautiful naked bodies around them. They also noticed the way the female masseuses checked out their bodies. The only hair on any of them was on their heads.

There was one thing they all had in common. They all liked to 'finish'. It was something they could all help each other with.

Every finish was good. Some of them were just better.

The Gray saw one vehicle with the driver's window halfway down. He moved towards the vehicle. It was the one he decided to take. He looked from side to side as he crossed the street.

He wanted to make sure there was no sign of the police car or what may have been the unmarked police car. There was no sign of either one of them.

He was halfway across the street when he looked back at the car he was going to take. He realized there was someone in it. He was pleased to see it looked like a female. If he would have had a weapon with him, he would take the car and the female along with it. Based upon what she said, he quickly reconsidered.

The female Fanatic was about to start the car. She was a little surprised when she lifted her head. She quickly scrambled to pull her pistol out of the plastic bag. The Gray was headed directly towards her. He currently looked from side to side as he crossed the street. She looked and saw the couple who passed by the car earlier were still only a few cars down from her. They were going to hear the gunshot for sure.

She needed to come up with a new plan fast. There were predetermined contingency plans her group prepared in advance for multiple scenarios. They were to attempt to avoid a provocation or incident with people in the past. It was only people from the future who they wanted to combat.

She adjusted her hair up so it fell over the side of her face to block her appearance. She turned her back to the Gray and looked into the rear seat. She knew he couldn't tell who she was. She also knew he didn't know she held a pistol in her right hand alongside of her body and was ready to use it.

"Don't make me come back there and slap you. You know I will." The female Fanatic said loudly. "Your father and uncle are going to be here any second. One of them can sit with you."

She glanced in the direction of the Gray. She saw him change course. He was no longer headed towards her or her vehicle.

The Gray quickly looked around when he heard the female speak. It sounded like there would be two men about to join her any moment. He didn't want to be in a scuffle with her when they arrived. He was still unarmed. It was a situation he needed to rectify as soon as possible.

He was a little surprised to see the two individuals who passed by earlier turn around and start back in the direction they came from. He figured they were probably out on a walk on their break to get a little exercise in. He didn't think a leisurely walk up and down the street was going to do much or burn very many calories. If they wanted to lose weight, they should spend a few months in the future. They would lose plenty.

He didn't want any of the three people he just saw to get a good look at him. He quickly went back in the direction he just came from.

The high pitched whine of the machinery in the building he stood in front of stopped. He heard something else he didn't want to hear.

The female Fanatic was relieved to see the Gray go back across the street. She wasn't pleased to see the two individuals who passed by earlier were on their way back. She couldn't duck down and hide from the two people and not have the Gray wonder what she was doing.

She heard the high pitched whine from the building across the street stop. She was more than a little surprised to see Gray take off running down the street in the opposite direction. She watched him as he moved away from her. She was about to duck down again so the two individuals who were about to pass by wouldn't see her.

When the machinery stopped inside the building, the Gray was able to hear something he was sure was going to be a problem for him. He needed to get moving.

"I'm telling you, man, he went over the rear fence. I saw him." The first voice said. "I thought it was just a transient. They are always looking to steal something. Then I spotted Jimmy on the ground."

"I want one of you to stay with Jimmy." The second voice said. "The rest of you come with me. We're going to find him."

"Shouldn't we just dial nine one one?" The third voice asked.

"We will, after we catch him and teach him a lesson." The fourth voice said.

"Let's go." The first voice said. "Follow me. I know what he looks like. "

The Gray knew he needed to get out of there and get out of there fast. He took one last look at the female in the vehicle and the two people walking back in his direction. He took off running in the other direction. It seemed like a good idea to put a few streets between where he was at right now, and what might be an angry mob.

He watched mobs in action before in the future. They were very violent and brutal. As soon as one individual started something, everyone else joined in. It never ended well for the individual who was targeted.

The female Fanatic was a little surprised to see the Gray come back across the street and head for the property she just traversed through only a few minutes ago. She was even more surprised when four men appeared at location the Gray was standing only a few seconds ago.

She just was about to duck down. She was sure they saw her. They looked angry. She could see them look around. Two of them took off in the direction the Gray went. It didn't appear they saw where he actually went. The other two started in the opposite direction. One of them headed for the vehicle. It appeared they spotted her. She was glad she hadn't ducked down and tried to hide.

"Did you just see a guy run by here?" The man asked.

She still held the pistol in her hand out of sight. She didn't know if anyone would recognize the car she currently sat in or not. If they did, it was bound to raise more than a few questions, since they wanted to get a hold of the Gray. She figured he must have done something to one of them. More than likely he would have tried to have done something to her if she hadn't played out her ruse. She didn't know he didn't have a weapon.

The Gray looked back as he headed down the side of the building. He could still hear the angry voices. He didn't see anyone. He hoped it meant they didn't see where he went. As he neared the rear of the structure and was about to reach the area in back of the building he could hear someone calling a name.

"Sasha, where are you?" The first voice said.

"Don't worry about the stupid dog." The second voice said. "It will come out when it feels like it, or it will wait until no one's looking and bite them."

The Gray was a little concerned at the mention of a dog. He wasn't looking for a dog bite on top of everything else. He thought the dog might already be upset because they were looking for it. If it detected a stranger, it would probably try to take its frustration out on him. He really needed a weapon.

He didn't think he wanted to continue along the back where he was headed. He decided to go over the fence into the property on the other side. He wasn't going to go back out to the front.

The Gray quickly scrambled up the wall. He looked both to the front and the back as he reached the top. He didn't like what he saw in either direction. He dropped to the other side and took off running towards the rear.

The female Fanatic needed to deal with the current situation.

"Did you just see a guy run by here?" The man asked.

The female Fanatic glanced in the direction of the new arrival. She left her disheveled hair covering the side of her face.

"I saw a man come out of where you did just a few seconds ago." The female Fanatic said. "He was running. He went that way."

She pointed in the direction the Gray ran.

"Thanks." The man said.

The man already started to move away from the car.

"Did he steal something?" The female Fanatic asked.

He called the other man who went in his direction and pointed towards the where the other two men were at. He briefly glanced back.

"It was something like that." The man said as he ran off.

She watched the four men move in the direction the Gray went. The man she spoken with alerted the other men as to the direction he went. They looked around as they moved along the row of buildings. She saw one of them point when they neared the location where he actually went. She would have thought he would have been through the property by now. She was a little concerned the Gray would shoot the four men if they cornered him. It was bound to bring in the police. It was found to bring in more police. She still believed there was a police cruiser in the area.

The four men took off running in the direction the Gray went.

The female Fanatic needed to worry about the two walking individuals. They were almost up to the car at this point. She didn't want them to spot her. She may have waited too long because of her interaction with the man.

CamNet's Terminators turned their attention to the road. They carried a full complement of weapons in the SUV. Currently each of them was armed with a silenced M9 and Taser.

The passenger followed the drone footage over the female Fanatic. They were a little surprised about the flurry of activity.

"It seems they've caused quite an uproar since they've abandoned their vehicles." The first Terminator said.

The second Terminator glanced over.

"They both should have been terminated long ago." The second Terminator said.

The first Terminator was aware of the two operations which developed because of a byproduct of the original operation.

"So far multiple locations have been identified." The first Terminator said. "The Resistance is currently dealing with two others."

The second Terminator wasn't impressed.

"The information should have been beaten out of both of them earlier." The second Terminator said.

The first Terminator would have liked to have been activated earlier.

"It's still going to take us some time to reach their location." The first Terminator said.

The second Terminator planned to deal with both the Gray and the female Fanatic personally.

"It's not going to take me long to beat some answers out of both of them." The second Terminator said.

CamNet's Terminators wanted to take control of the situation. They wanted to do things their way. They needed to get there first.

They were instructed they were only to work for CamNet. They were to avoid any Resistance operations unless it was an emergency. We were to avoid any questions if they were involved with any Resistance personnel.

Closing monologue by Cameron:

That Was Fast

One's previous personal associates
Can be a tell or typecast
Some of their prior actions
May leave more than a few aghast

What once was before
Is surely a likely forecast
There's always an outside chance
The present may be a contrast

Does one bow to pressure
Or do they remain steadfast
Will it become a game of endurance
To see who will the other outlast

The expanse of the future
Can be confined or vast
Maybe it all depends on
If one can escape the past

Who determines what ends
Who decides what will last
One may soon think
That was fast

Nobody
