[10 years later]

It has been a decade since the death of Layla and Gothel had kept her promise. She goes out of her way to make fun of Eva and make her life a nightmare. The roles have changed from what it had been a decade ago, now with Gothel being the biggest bully and Eva now trying her best to be kind after what had happened to Layla back in Rosas. Eva was walking through a meadow to get ready for the royal ball where Prince jared was going to be crowned and become King Jared.

"If it isn't Miss Eva." taunted Gothel.

"Gothel, please. Not today." said Eva, tired.

"Oh, okay... not!" shouted Gothel. "You never let me and Layla go!"

"That was then years ago... please, I've changed. I want to be your friend."

"Well I have changed as well, Eva."

Eva tried to go around Gothel but she tripped her and Eva fell face first into a pile of mud. Everyone around her laughed and even her old friends didn't help her anymore. She tried to move away but her bag opened and Gothel caught site of a dress.

"What's this?" asked Gothel, snatching the dress from the bag.

"No, please! That's my dress for the ball." begged Eva. "Please give it back."

"Layla never could go to the ball, why should you?" asked Gothel.

"Please..." cried Eva. "It took me days to sew that dress."

"But where's my dress?"

"I-I-"

"You don't have one? I see."

Gothel went towards the fireplace and threw the dress into the flame.

"No!" teared Eva and ran towards the fire but the dress was already turned to ashes. She saw as all of her hard work burned to the ground and she cried.

Gothel couldn't help but smile.

"Bye-bye." she said, laughing and the crowd left Eva alone.

"What's wrong, child?" asked a new voice.

Eva looked up to see a fairy flying in the sky and went down to her. The fairy looked old, with grey hair and wrinkles on her skin.

"Who are you?" asked Eva.

"I am Asha." said the fairy. "I saw what happened back there. Why did you she do it?"

"It was quite a while back. I was a bully to her and her best friend Layla. One day, it was too far. The two of them were exploring this kingdom and Layla fell to her death and our roles have swapped since that day."

"What kingdom?" asked the fairy, concerned and in a serious voice.

"I remember it as if it was yesterday. It was a place where the Sun didn't shine, where no colour could be seen. The name of it was Rosas."

The fairy looked down, "I see. Well, how about I help you?"

"How?" asked Eva.

The fairy took a wand from her pocket and whispered the chant, "Lantity basidy."

The wand glowed and Eva's clothes transformed into a beautiful pink dress, even more pretty than anyone could imagine.

"I hope you enjoy the ball." said the fairy and she disappeared before Eva could thank her.

It soon turned dusk and as Eva entered the ball at the palace, everyone's eyes were fixed on her, including Prince Jared. The prince and Eva danced for hours and hours and Gothel's eyes grew with jealousy by each passing hour. Gothel tried her best to make Eva feel bad but nothing could distract Eva, this was the happiest she had ever been in her whole life. When the clock struck three o' clock, the prince went on his knee and pulled out a ring.

"Eva, you are the most stunning and kind woman I have ever seen. Will you be my queen?" asked Prince Jared.

"Yes!" teared Eva.

"No!" screamed Gothel. "It should have been me!"

However, no one cared no matter how much Gothel screamed and Eva and Jared kissed.
