Chapter 22
A new stage
A tall pale boy collapsed on a bed. His freckled face covered in sweat as the green symbols on his clothes stopped glowing. Dark circles showed under his eyes, as he swiped brown hair away from his face. His first try hadn't gone completely to plan but it hasn't been a complete waste of time or energy either. After all he had learned something, and now he could be sure of two things. The first Perseus Jackson had become much stronger. Second, the son of Jupiter was someone to be taken seriously. Someone knocked on his bedroom door, the exhausted boy called out.
"What do you want, Howard?"
The man called Howard replied without opening the door,
"We have an uninvited guest."
