Hey guys and dolls, I have returned with a new chapter for you.
So Last time, our heroes arrived in the ghoulish world of Halloween Town and met up with the Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington. And they are off to Christmas Town to see Santa Claus, but Maleficent is in the picture too! What is going to happen?
Now I saw that some of you asked why the Remnant teens asked about Halloween and Christmas, well from what I remember, I don't recall them ever mentioning the holidays at all in the show. I know they are acknowledged in RWBy Chibi, but that's non-canon. Plus I don't think they reference it at all in the comics.
Ok…I know I also posted this on my AO3 profile and I know I have not updated yet, but I will get around to doing it, I just sometimes forget that I have an account on there.
So what's your opinion of Volume 9 so far? Good, Bad?
Also sorry for the late delay, I have been busy, and I have been replaying the first Kingdom Hearts on my PS5.
To Jacob9594: Ren serves as a peacemaker to the bunch, except where the stress got to him in Volume 7. Ruby is expected, but Sun was something I thought of, I mean I know he is a laid-back type but I know he also wishes for peace between humans and Faunus just as much as Blake does. It was hard trying to figure out what monster forms the newcomers would get, hopefully, I'd do my best on them. Neo is playing it smart, the Organization is leagues way above characters from RWBY (well, except Salem because…you know, reasons.
To RonaldM40196867: Spooky indeed, ditto, I wouldn't say he flirted, but complemented her, Well yea…Oswald and Ortenisa are married. Yep, Yes they are! I found it cute in the film where he was amazed by everything related to Christmas, huh, I never figured that…thanks :) Inspiration…well…honestly, I don't know, I did see one pic where Ruby and Jaune had Grimm forms on Deviantart. Yes, Ruby and Jaune are going to be paired up, but not till later. I don't know to be honest.

Halloween Town/Hinterlands
Jack led the heroes through the forest area, all while sporting a big grin on his face. "My friends, once we get to Christmas Town, you're going to love it!" He said all giddily. And he wasn't the only one, because Sora, Ruby, Stitch, and some others were also very excited as well.
"C'mon!" Sora exclaimed as he was now feeling a bit impatient. "How long till we get there?" He asked.
"Seriously?!" Ruby exclaimed as well.
Jack chuckled. "Now don't get over-excited, don't lose your heads. None of us want that…..yet." He said with a smoke as they kept on walking until they noticed the clearing. "Ah, we're coming right up to them, everybody!" He called out.
As soon as they all got right to the clearing, they encountered some of the trees that looked….very interesting, as on the trees, six doors looked very differently shaped. One door was in the shape of a decorated Egg, the second was shaped like a Four Leaf Clover, the third was in the shape of a heart, the fourth was in the shape of a Firecracker, and the fifth door was in the shape of a Turkey.
But the sixth one? That was the door that got almost everyone's attention because that door was decorated like a tree…a tree that looked to be decorated with lights, walls, and other stuff.
"Wow!" Everyone said in unison as they looked at all the doors. "What is all this?" Oswald asked in awe.
"Everybody, these are the holiday doors," Jack announced. "Each one leads to a different Holiday world like Halloween Town here, but the one we are going to today is Christmas Town, right behind this door here." He said as he pointed to the tree door, that everyone gathered around. "You see, about a year ago, I was getting tired of the same old spooks for Halloween year after year. I wanted something new, something exciting…and as I was walking through the forest to clear my mind, I found this!"
Everyone looked at the tree with some anticipation as Jack kept talking. "Beyond this door, you will find a world beyond your wildest imaginations! I was amazed by the wonders!"
"Yea, yea, we get it!" Ruby said, now shaking with excitement along with Sora. "Just let us in now, please!" She begged, now acting like a little kid.
Jack chuckled as he then opened the door, and everyone gathered around, it looked to be empty with nothing but a void. But to Sora and Ruby? Well, it didn't matter as they immediately jumped right in, alarming everyone else as they were dragged alongside them. Everyone was yelling or screaming as they fell into a vortex that looked like snowflakes, and they fell, and down, and down, and down…..
Christmas Town/Yuletide Hill
On the outskirts of a snowy hill was a tree that showed a large Pumpkin on it. After a few minutes, there was a flash of light, and Sora and the others came popping right off the tree and into the cold snow. Everybody groaned a bit before getting up.
"Woah!" Sora said. "Guys, look at us all!" Sora still retained the dark look he had, but now his entire outfit was replaced with a black Santa suit.
Donald turned into a snowman (or would it be a snow duck?) With his body being made of snow, his arms turned into sticks, and he was wearing a blue hat, red and green scarf, two buttons, and Santa flaps on his webbed feet.
Goofy transformed into a reindeer with his outfit becoming a reddish-brown suit with white fur lining around his sleeves. He also had a loose red belt with a gold buckle around his waist, and red mittens on his hands that had green ribbons tied around. His feet turned into hooves that were colored light tan and brown, and he wore a green wreath around his neck. His nose also glowed orange and he had long antlers on his head. Max was dressed the same.
Ruby was back to being a human, but this time her outfit was much different. She was now wearing a Santa suit-like dress with red, white furry lining around. And her cape had furry lining as well. Her boots turned red with gold buckles, and she wore a Santa hat with a ball on it.
Jaune was human again, but this time he was wearing a green suit-like jacket with a white furry collar, it was decorated with bells as well, he was also wearing yellow tights, and black shoes with the toes curled inwards, but he still wore his armor, but it was now all Christmas-y. With the plate turning into red and green striped and furry lining as well as wearing a green pointy hat. Sun wore a similar outfit as Jaune (minus the armor and his tail was sticking out of his tights.
Oswald wore a blue Santa suit with white furry lining, and black boots and the Santa hat was between his ears.
Ortenisa was wearing a pink Santa dress with white lining on her collar and skirt. And she wore red heels as well.
And finally, Stitch was simply wearing a Santa suit…nothing more and nothing less.
"Huh, we changed outfits," Oswald said as he looked at his new garb.
"At least you all look normal!" Max said as he looked at himself with a frown. "I'm a Reindeer!" He said but then was hugged by his father.
"Oh, cheer up Maxie!" Goofy said. "I think you make a very cute reindeer, and I bet Roxane would as well." Just the mention of his crush's name made Max blush, but he felt a bit more embarrassed about the thought of Maxine looking at him as he was dressed up like this.
Jaune and Sun felt a little embarrassed about their outfits, it made them look dorky (Jaune a bit more) and it didn't help that Ruby and Ortenisa were giggling at the outfits a bit. But even if Ruby was giggling, in her mind, she was slightly blushing a bit.
"He might look like a dork, but he looks like a cute dork." She thought.
"Everybody, look!" They all went to where Donald was and when they did, their eyes winded in awe. They saw a town beyond a hill and were all amazed by it. "Wow…!" They were all said in unison.
"Friends!" They all turned to see Jack pointing outwards. "We must move onward, Santa's workshop is right ahead!" He said as he then began to lead the way once again, with the others following him. But Sora and Ruby were jittery like crazy, wanting to meet the man right away.
Town Square
The group finally made it to the town square, and their eyes widened with awe. Many of them were shocked at seeing the sights. Lights were everywhere, elves going about their business, music was in the air, and the smell of cakes and pies was almost everywhere.
"It's beautiful!" Stitch said as his eyes winded in awe.
"I think I might cry!" Ruby said with awe at the amazing sight. Oh how he wished her team were here to witness it, Jaune and Sun felt the same way about their teams.
"Everyone, Santa's workshop is right ahead." He said as the others saw that they were in front of a large building and Sora and Ruby got excited.
Donald saw this and snickered. "You two must be very excited huh?" He asked.
"Well duh!" Sora said to him. "Why wouldn't I be? I mean we're about to meet the actual Santa Claus!"
"I don't even know about Christma or that other stuff, but something about this is just so exciting…I just wish my team was here to experience this with me!" She said, with Jaune and Sun nodding their heads in agreement.
"Well, what are we waiting for?" Jaune asked as they all made their way to the building.
Santa's Workshop
Sora and co went inside the building, which was all red and had the delightful scent of cookies, the scent making Ruby's mouth water.
"*GASP'S*," Ortensia said as her eyes went wide. "Guys, look!" They saw where she was looking and many of them winded their eyes. For in their sight, in a big green chair sat an elder man that was shown to be on the heavier side, wearing a faded, red suit with white fur lines, black gloves that also had white fur lining, and a red hat that had a white ball at the end and also had white fur lines as well. This old man clad in that particular outfit was named Santa Clause, or Kris Kringle, or any other names throughout the world!
Everyone (sans Jack) gasped and huddled together and shook with some excitement. "Santa Clause!" They all whispered in excited voices. Now, this was just a sight to behold, even the adults of the group were shaking with excitement a bit.
Ruby herself was excited, sure in Remnant, she never heard of Christmas, but there was something about that man and this whole place that was bringing out the little kid in her, and she was not the only one. Jaune and Sun themselves were excited as well.
Santa then looked up from his list and noticed them all at his door. "Visitors!" He exclaimed with a smile. "Please come in, come in." He said, and they all did but shuffled a bit due to nervousness and excitement. "Now, who's first?" He asked. The entire group looked at eachother and thought it over, and after a few seconds, they had a solution.
"Rock,"
"Paper"
"Scissors, SHOOT!"
Winner- Sora
Sora immediately ran up and shook a bit out of excitement. "Uh, Sora, sir!" He said.
Santa then looked at his list. "Hmm, Sora, Sora…ah, here we are!" He said, with the boy's face brightening up. "Oh dear," Santa said with a frown. "Well Sora, according to my list, some years ago, you told everyone that you did not believe in Santa Clause." The older man said as he rubbed his beard. "Unfortunate." He said.
This made the teen gasp in shock as his eyes widened like saucers. "NOOOOOOO!" He shouted.
Donald ignored Sora's rant and went up. "What about Donald Duck, and Goofy?"
"And don't forget my son Max!" Goofy said with a grin, making Max sigh a bit. Santa then looked over his nice list and with a grin, he nodded his head. "OH JOY!" Goofy shouted as he hugged both Donald and Max together, both of them being choked a bit by the tightness of the hug.
Ortensia then looked a bit nervous as she and her husband went up. "What about Ortensia Cat and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit?" She asked as her hands trembled a bit, with Oswald coming over to rub his hand with hers to calm her down. And Santa looked over his list, and he smiled and nodded his head. "YES! Ortenisa cried happily as she jumped into Oswald's arms.
"And not just you either, but your adorable children are on here as well," Santa said, making Ortenisa smile even bigger.
"Stitch on the good list?" Stitch asked, and Santa looked over hsi list, and with a smile, he nodded too. "WHOOO!" He shouted as he jumped in the air in joyous rapture.
Ruby looked slightly nervous. "Um…Santa sir, I don't know much about Christmas….but…I assume my name wouldn't be on there, right?" She asked him.
Santa raised an eyebrow. "What's your name, dear?"
"R-Ruby Rose." She said with some hesitation. "And my friends over there too. Jaune Arc, and Sun Wukong."
Santa looked at his list, and after a few minutes, he was surprised. "Yes…sorry my dear but I never heard of you before, or your male friends….weird." He said as he rubbed his head.
Ruby sighed a bit, feeling a bit disappointed. "I figured as much…" She said, making Jaune come over and pat her on the shoulder as well as Sora.
Jack then looked a bit nervous as well, but he was more hopeful. "Uh, am I on your list by any chance, it's me, Jack!"
As soon as Santa looked at the skeleton, his eyes winded. "Wait…Jack Skellington?"
The skeleton shield. "Yes, Mr. Claws, you see-
*CRASH*
There was a crash that started the group and turned their attention towards a door that was nearby. Santa sighed and got up from his chair. "Well then, what sort of trouble did you bring this time?" He asked.
The heroes looked confused at what he said though. "This time?" Max asked as the others raised their eyebrows at Jack, who looked nervous.
"Well…it's sort of a long story…" He said sheepishly. "You see-" but he was stopped by Jaune.
"We can hear the story later, why don't we go check and see what the heck made that loud crash." He said, and the others agreed and followed Santa to the next room.
The room they were all in now had three conveyor belts and three machines, whois what appeared to be where they packed up the gifts and place them in their right areas to go out. Santa and the others went right in to investigate.
Meanwhile, up on a scaffolding, Maleficent was there watching them and she was with the three familiar mischievous pranksters. "Hey, why do we need to hide?" Lock asked with annoyance. "Hiding is so bo-"
"Silence!" Maleficent said to him in a calm, silent, yet terrifying tone, making the young boy gulp nervously.
"S-sorry ma'am!" He said.
Maleficent rolled her eyes as she looked down to see the entire entourage and smirked. "Well, isn't this a pleasant surprise? That foolish skeleton brought Sora and his merry band of do-gooders with him." She then smiled. "Now we can deal with all of them at once."
"Oh, what do you want us to do, mistress?" Shock asked with enthusiasm. "I got some ideas that involved worms!" She said, but unfortunately, she said that a bit too loudly, making Lock and Barrel shush her.
Santa however heard it and glared up. "WHO'S THERE?" He asked in anger. This made the kids go wide-eyed.
"Oops, busted!" They said in unison.
Maleficent then began to disappear in green flames, but not before giving one final message to the kids. "Get back to Halloween Town, to the curled hill!" She ordered them as she finally vanished. Barrel then got a bear trap out of his pocket, swung it, and threw it at the window. And one by one, he, Lock, and Shock all jumped out to escape.
But they were noticed by Jack. "It's Lock, Shock, and Barrel!" He exclaimed as the others saw them as well.
Santa sighed. "Not those three." He said as he shook his head.
Jack then looked at Santa with a pleading look. "Mr. Claws, I assure you that they are not with us." He said.
"Well whatever the case, they've been very naughty!" Santa said with his hands on his hips. "I want you to find them and bring them back here at once, they're going to get one heck of a long lecture about being good!" He said as he then began to take his leave.
"Uh, Mr. Claws?" Jack said with a hesitant look on his face. "I wanted to ask you about Christmas-"
"It'll have to wait!" Santa exclaimed, but he then gave a soft sigh. "Sorry, I didn't mean to yell, but with those three, I need to make sure that they didn't mess with anything in my workshop." He said as he took his leave, making Jack sign and put his head down.
"Jack!" Sora said, getting the skeleton's attention again. "Let's go catch those pranksters!" He said, with the others nodding and taking off. Jack sighed again, his hopes for possibly taking over for Santa are beginning to crash and burn…well..hopefully he can ask after they get those kids.
Town Square
As the group made their way outside, Sun had a question for Jack. "So Jack, who were those three brats?" He asked.
Jack sighed in annoyance. "Lock, Shock, and Barrel. A trio of three troublemakers who are usually out and about doing who knows what." He said. "Well, no use dilly daddling, we gotta-" But then they heard some noises and turned so they saw some elves running away from something, they turned their attention to see a large box
But the most distinguishing thing about the box was that it resembles a jack-in-the-box. With it being gray colored with black edges, the front face of the box was red with a black section at the base, and the face also appeared to have….eyes that consisted of a yellow "X" and an angular spiral of the same color. And there was a yellow crank on the side that showed its resemblance to a jack-in-the-box. The top opened to reveal a humanoid Heartless that was wearing a red jacket with two rows of white buttons lining its front, a black belt with a yellow buckle, and large yellow gloves. In its arms was a musket that was being used to fire at the elves, many of them narrowly dodging the attacks. This was known as the Toy Soldier, a type of Emblem Heartless.
Jack stared at this Heartless and was furious, it was bad enough with Heartless trying to ruin Christmas, but now there was Heartless that had the gall to take the appearance of a toy? This was too far! "Everyone, attack!" He said as he and the others charged at the Heartless.
The Toy Soldier fired off its musket at them with speed, the shot got a few of them, causing them to go sledding backward a bit into the snow. Ruby used her Semblance to speed her way around the shots and fur off her shot at it, but the Heartless ducked inside its box to avoid being hit.
"Guys, are you ok?" Goofy asked as he helped Sora, and Oswald helped Jaune up.
"Damn, whatever is in that thing," Sun said. "It really packed a wallop!" He said as he then got up and got hsi bo staff out.
Ruby twirled her scythe and attempted to slash the heartless, but humanoid used its musket to block the blow, the two tried to push each other's weapons, but the monster then roughly pushed and shot Ruby in the chest, making her cry and go backward.
"RUBY!" Jaune shouted as he glared at the Heartless. "Bastard!" He said as he ran towards the soldier, using his shield to block the muskets shots as he was running. He glared hard as he then jumped and gave a cry, he then used his sword to swipe the musket away from the Heartless, making it hide in its box and jump away.
Jack then ran toward the Heartless and uses his bony hands to point at the large box. "Bolts of Sorrow!" He shouted as a barrage of thunderbolts emerged from the sky and struck the box, causing it to get electrocuted.
Sun then used his semblance to summon a few clones and they all tossed the box in the air, where they gave a beatdown. Everyone pretty much attacked the box, but it was doing no good. And it did help that the soldier kept taunting them by shooting its musket at them all.
"Dang it, what do we do?" Jaune asked as he used his shield to block the firing. "We can't get close or else we get shot, and it's just going to retreat in its box!" He said.
Sora was trying to think…what could they do to get rid of this thing? He then remembered that Ruby's weapon can fire and had a sniper mode to it, and he had an idea. "Ruby!" He said to her, "If we can somehow get it to stay open, can you get a shot?"
"I'll do my best!" She said as she then used her semblance to quickly go around and off to the side, once she was out of the soldier's sight, she got out Crescent Rose and put it in sniper mode, and looked through the scope.
"Ok guys, let's try to give Ruby the opening she needs!" Max said as they all ran right towards the Heartless, it firing off its musket, many dodged, a few got hit, and some were just doing the best they could.
Ruby then took a deep breath and cocked the rifle. "Ok, soldier boy." She said, "I got you now…"
BANG
A fire dust round then got shot out and went right at the heartless, landing and going right through its head. The soldier dropped its gun and rattled a bit before disappearing, with a heart floating afterward.
Everyone sighed a bit. "Well, that takes care of that." Sora said as he handed everybody some potions and ethers. "Now that that ugly thing is out, let's go find those three tricksters."
"My guess is they must have gone back to Halloween Town!" Jack said as he and the others ran off.
Halloween Town/Spiral Hill
Maleficent was now looking out into the sky, with Lock, Shok, and Barrel in their tub looking at her. She was not too happy at all.
"I was so looking forward to destroying that pathetic Christmas Town." She said in annoyance. "Now that Sora and his friends are here, a new change of plan is in order. After all, revenue over pleasure is better." She said.
"What kind of revenge, mistress?" Shock asked.
Maleficent smirked. "The magnificent, malevolent kind, of course, my dear." She said,
The trio of kids looked surprised. "Wow, that sounds super bad!" Lock said.
"Yea, like how Oogie is kinda bad!" Shock said.
"And that's even super bad!" Barrel added lastly.
At the mere mention of that name, Maleficent's eyes widened a bit with interest. "Oogie Boogie? That bag of insects?" She asked. You see, Oogie is an enemy of Jack's and at some point, he was in alliance with Maleficent and a group of other villains that included Hades and Jafar. Sora and his friends defeated him and he was now dead. "Intriguing, and where might I find him?" She asked.
Shock then got mad, and even though you couldn't tell due to her wearing her mask, her voice spoke it. "Jack and those stupid friends of his destroyed him!" She said,
Maleficent raised an eyebrow but then nodded. "Oh right, I do remember now. He was not the only one from my council to fall…" She said It was a sad shame, even though she told her cohorts many times not to give in to darkness…they still did it. Of course, she couldn't complain as she too fell..but she was determined never to make that mistake again.
"Uh, ma'am?" Barrel asked. "How do you know about Oogie?" He asked.
Maleficent smirked. "He is…an acquaintance of mine," she said. "Well then, this makes it more interesting…if I am to destroy that pathetic town, I'm going to need some help."
The kids' eyes winded with awe. "Wait, you mean?"
"Yes dears," Maleficent said to them as green flames surrounded her. "I shall bring your master back to you!" She said, Making the trio smile under their masks and laugh.
Graveyard
Sora and the others had noticed some footprints, presumably left behind by the trio, and had followed them. And as they followed, Sora had a question.
"Hey Jack, so what did Santa mean by "This time?" He asked.
Jack smiled sheepishly a bit. "Well…you see Sora after you and your friends left, I was tired of doing the same thing year after year for Halloween. And while I was trying to find something new, something exciting. And I stumbled upon Christmas Town and…well…I kinda…tried to take over?"
This made the group go wide-eyed with shock. "Wait…you mean…that you tried…to take over Christmas?"
Jack then put his hands up defensively. "Not take over…it was…As I said, I wanted to try something new and exciting and Christmas was something else. So I figured that I would give Mr. Claws a break and for me to take his place for one time."
This made everyone look at Jack as if he was crazy, sure it seems that he was bored with Halloween, but trying to run Christmas? It just didn't sound right at all. "Ok…and how did that work out?" Jaune asked with a raised eyebrow.
Jack then sheepishly laughed. "Well…not as I hoped…but that's why this year, I want to try again and make sure I do it right this time!" He said to them. "I know he will let me do it this time." He said with glee.
"Well, good luck," Donald said to him, but he was not feeling at all about this plan, and neither was everyone else. "Anyway, we have no time to worry about that."
"Exactly, we need to find the kids," Jack said to them all as they continued to follow the footprints. But in their minds, they were worried about Jack. If what he said was true, then this will not be so good for him or others…
Spiral Hill
Maleficent and the trio of kids were now staring at a figure right in front of them. The figure in question was a large sack…yes..a large walking sack with a gray coloring, empty eye holes where his eyes would be. His head extended outward and curled down a bit, he had no hands on his arms. This was Oogie Boogie or the boogie man.
"Ha ha ha ha ha!" Oogie said with a big laugh. "I feel like a million bugs better." He said as he looked at Maleficent. "I owe you for this Maleficent."
Maleficent smiled. "Yes you do, Oogie." She said."
The boogie man smirked. "So, are you getting the old gang back together?" He asked. "If you are though…please don't invite Captain "Crocodile bit off my hand" Hook back, he was so annoying." He said with a groan.
Maleficent shook her head. "It's a bit complicated. Now, do you remember Sora, Donald, and Goofy?" She asked him.
Oogie's eye holes winded. "The keyblade brat?" He asked as he then glared at the round. "How could I forget? I would have taken over Halloween Town if it weren't for him!"
"Yea, and don't forget boss," Lock said to him. "Jack helped too."
"Yes….even worse," Oogie said with anger. "I might have failed before, but this time will be different. Why? Because I am Mr. Oogie Boogie! The Boogie Man! And soon to bethe ruler of Halloween Town!" He exclaimed with vigor.
As Lock, Shock, and Barrel cheered for him. Maleficent then got his attention. "And I got the perfect plan indeed." She said to him, "Have you ever heard of Christmas Town?" She asked him.
Oogie then looked at her and got confused. "Christmas Town? Hmm….nope, never heard of it." He said simply.
"They might be over here!' A familiar voice said in the distance, and all the villains looked in that direction.
"Sora!" Maleficent exclaimed with anger. She then turned her attention to the trio. "You three stay here and keep Sora and the others occupied, me and Oogie will head off to Christmas Town!" She said as she and Oogie then began to vanish away, but not before smoke engulfed the kids. "My Heartless will assist you, but do not fail us!" She warned.
Meanwhile, Sora and the others followed the footprints to the hill and they arrived, and right as Maleficent and Oogie had vanished, leaving no trace of them. "There you are!" Sora exclaimed as the three trick-or-treaters then got spooked and were instantly grabbed by something.
"A Heartless!" Stitch said as they saw what was in front of them. The Heartless was a large mechanical beast with a large, egg-shaped head that had a jagged, gaping maw and glowing eyes that had triangle spirals. There was a crack in between the eyes that appeared to be stapled or stitched together, and it had a long, twisted antenna sprouting out of the top of its head that looked like it was wrapped up in bandages. Its long arms were connected to the bottom of its head and were covered by what looked like sleeves, but were metallic, and the hands seemed to be made of bones. The bottom shows that there was a large metal cage in which the Heartless placed the kids in. And finally, the Heartless emblem was at the base of its head. This was called the Prison Keeper Heartless.
"Stop them!" Shock exclaimed.
"Tie them down!" Lock exclaimed.
"Get them!" Barrel ordered.
The heroes glared hard at the Heartless and were about to strike, but before they did, the Heartless spun and grabbed the cage and shook it a few times, Lock then fell right into the Heartless's mouth, and then the Heartless shook and then his arms tuned into the color of red and flames surrounded him. It then clapped its hands and fireballs started to appear.
"Look out!" Sora exclaimed as the Heartless then fired off fireballs at the group, prompting them all to dodge out of the way. The heroes then began running in different directions as the fireballs kept on raining down, then Sora glared hard as he then used his keyblade to bring it up. As the fireball came to him, it bounced right off of his blade and went right at the Heartless, hitting it and making it go back.
Ruby then used this opportunity to give the Heartless many slashes with her scythe, and it made it holler in pain. Jack then ran and jumped very high and gave it a kick, it didn't do much, but it still did some damage…sorta.
Sun jumped up and used his gun chucks to hit and fire away at it, making it all over the place. Then the heartless attempted another fireball, but Sun was ready for it.
"Batter Up!" He said as he used his staff as a bat and swung the fireball at it, making it go back a bit and burn a bit, and then Lock was dumped out of it.
"Darn it!" the boy said in anger.
"Allow me!" Shock said as the Heartless then grabbed the cage and Shock fell into its mouth, making it shake again and its sleeves turning into a dark blue with white swirls on it. The fingers then turned into little laser guns and fired off several beams at the group, making them all dodge once again.
Sora and Oswald stood together. "Reflect!" They said in unison as a white shield covered them both as beams hit them. The beams then fired back at the Heartless, hitting it and making it skid backward a bit again. Goofy threw his shield at it, but the beast swung its arms and the shield swung back and hit Goofy right in the face, knocking him out for a bit.
"Ow…" the dog knight groaned.
Max glared hard at the Heartless. "Hey, that's my dad, you jerk!" He said in anger as he then ran towards the Heartless, using his sword to deflect the oncoming blasters' benign shot at him and he jumped up. "Ragh!" He said as he then ran up to the Heartless and tried to hit it with his sword, but the Heartless simply slapped him away.
"Ha ha, losers!" Lock said as he shook his butt at them and Barrel blew a raspberry from his mask. "Hey, big guy! Use all three of us now!" Lock said as the Prison Keeper then grabbed the cage and swallowed the three boys up. When the shaking stopped the Prison Keeper was now engulfed in green flames, the combination of the kids strengthening him.
Sora then glared hard at it. "Alright then, time to use Valor." He said as he then took out a yellow orb and crushed it in his hands. "Give me Strength!" He said as he then appeared in his valor form, which was designed to match Halloween Town. The Kingdom Key in one hand and the Star Seeker in the other hand, he ran right up and began to hit and smash the Heartless, making it go back.
The Prison Keeper attempted to fire off more fireballs at the group, but Oswald blocked the attack and hurled it back at the Heartless. Stitch growled and got out hsi blasters and fired them at the Heartless. "I can shoot better than you!" He taunted as he then grabbed a nearby tombstone and threw it, hitting the Heartless right in the face.
Jaune placed his sword in his shield and pressed a button, the shield collapsed and merged with the sword, making it bigger and sharper. Heavy it might be, but it was worth it. Jaune gripped the sword with two hands and ran right at the large menace. He ran right up the spiral hill and jumped. "RAGH!" He said as he gave a mighty slash at the Keeper's chest, leaving a big gash in there, and making it rattle a bit. "Sora, you're up!"
"Thanks, Jaune!" Sora said as he then got his keyblade and fired a light beam at it, hitting it right where Jaune slashed it.
The Heartless stood still as it then began to rattle, during the rattle it opened up its mouth and Lock, Shock, and Barrel was spit right out. After more rattling, the Heartless then vanished as a heart was released and flew off into the sky.
"We did it!" Stitch said with a grin.
"Not yet," Max said as they were now staring and glaring at the three trick-or-treaters who were now shaking nervously.
"Alright, you little brats!" Jaune exclaimed as he stared hard at them. "Where did you get that Heartless?" He asked with anger.
Lock gulped. "Wait, please don't hurt us! We swear we didn't do anything wrong!"
"Yea!" Shock said. "It was that evil witch who forced us, her and Oogie! We swear!"
"C'mon!" Barrel said. "Let's get out of here!" He said and the other two indeed their heads furiously as they then took off. Then the heroes thought about what the brays said to them.
"Evil witch…" Oswald said before he and the others (sans Jack) winded their eyes. "MALEFICENT!" They shouted.
Jack was even more surprised, not about the witch, but by the name Shock said. "Wait…Oogie?" He asked. "Oogie Boogie? But I thought-" His eyes holes then widened. "Oh no! Everyone, quick, we need to get back to Christmas Town!" He said as he and the others took off.
And we are going to stop there everybody. Sorry, it took me so long, I was busy and my birthday was last week so things got a bit crazy. And As I said, I have been replying to the first Kingdom Hearts.
