Hey everybody, it's been a very long time hasn't it? First of all, I'm sorry I went away and gave up on this fic. With my job and all it was just alot to take in, I had to work with someone who was my co-worker's replacement and he was an a-word hole. But my former came back and as such things are alright..for now anyway.

So in the next year I am going to be looking for new work, hopefully one with less hours. But as I said before, I will do as much as I can, so please don't be pestering me on when new chapters will come. Especially now that we are entering the holiday season and that's when things get a bit more busiy for me since I got holiday plans.

Anyway, the last time our travelers reunited with Mulan and saw an Organization member in the mountains, Sora encountered a man who he identified as Riku. But afterwards, the group notices a large Dragon-like Heartless ride towards the city. Can they inform Shang and the Emperor in time? Let's find out!

Imperial City/Palace

The Travelers of Light made it off the mountain and made it to the Imperial City, where the citizens were going about their day. However at one point, the Travelers were stopped by the citizens, who were thanking them for saving them all from Shan-Yu and the Huns. The heroes were flattered but told them that there was no thanks necessary, and they were very busy.

"The palace is up ahead!" Mulan said to them as they all nodded and followed her. After A little while they finally got to the palace, where they all sighed in relief. "Thank goodness we made it in time." She said,

"Yea…" Sora said as he looked around, and much to the surprise of him, the Heartless was nowhere insight and it made him suspicious. "So far there is nothing going on." He said.

"But we can never be too careful." Oswald said suspiciously as well. Where was that Heartless? They just saw it approach the city….so where is it? "Something seems off here." He was sad.

"Hey, it's you guys!" They all turned around to see the three soldiers Yoa, Ling, and Chien Po approach the group with concerned looks on their faces"

"Sorry guys, but we don't have time to catch up!" Sora said to them. "We got in trouble!"

"That's why we are coming to you!" Ling said to them with worry. "A man in black came through here to the palace!"

"WHAT?" The group shouted.

Chien Po nodded. "We did our best, but he was too strong and managed to get inside, the captain managed to get inside, but the doors are locked." He said with concern.

Mulan looked at the door and sighed a bit, and she looked up. "Ok, guys. There is a monster approaching this way." She said to them. "Get any soldier who is not injured and evacuate the city!" She told them. The three men nodded and ran off, leaving the heroes behind.

"Now what are we going to do?" ruby asked with worry. "If the doors are locked, then how are we going to get inside?" Everyone else was wondering the same exact thing.

Mulan however got an idea. "Guys, follow me!" She said as she ran over to the pillars, the others looked a bit confused, but shrugged and followed her. Finally they made it over to the pillars, and Mulan got their attention. "Just do what I do." She said as she then grabbed a piece of cloth from her outfit and wrapped it around herself and the pillar, and with a big breath she then began to climb up the wall. Ruby then widened her eyes and nodded as she got the idea. She then got her red cloak and took it off and wrapped it around the pillar in front of her, and thanks to Ortensia's magic, the others got their own cloths and wrapped it around the pillars and they all began to climb up.

Throne Room

CLANK

Shang attempted to strike down the black coated man, but the man used his own weapon to block the attack, and he then sent Shang back with a mighty kick, causing the captain to skid across the floor. Shang then attempted to get up, but he didn't have the strength to do it.

The man then put his weapon away and he approached the Emperor, who, like his encounter with Shan-Yu, showed no fear or intimidation at all. The man approached the elder and the two then looked at eachother.

Palace Hall

The group finally made their way inside the palace, only to see that it was quiet….to quiet.

"I don't like the look of this." Sora said with caution. "Everyone be on your guard." He said with some caution, and the others agreed as they began to make it to the Emperor's main throne room, with Mulan guiding them all of course.

As they were walking, Ruby took a glance over at Jaune, who was looking straight ahead. Ever since they discovered the truth on Ozpin, and with the recent unpleasant reunion of Cinder Fall and Neopolitan, all Ruby could think was how worried she was for Jaune.

"Jaune?" Ruby said, making Jaune look at her.

"Yea, Ruby?" He asked.

"I..I just wanted to know if you were ok." She said,

Jaune gave her a confused look. "Yea…I'm fine, why do you ask?" He asked her.

Ruby wanted to tell him, but then again she didn't want him to get annoyed or worried, so all she could do was just ignore it. "N-nevermind…" Ruby said as she turned back around, leaving Jaune to give her a look of both confusion and worry.

"WAIT!" However his thoughts were stopped as they saw a man in black right at the entrance to the throne room, and Jaune glared hard at him as his hand instantly got to his sword, and so did everybody else.

"Everyone, stop!" Sora said as everyone gave him a confused look. "I..I just want to check." He said as he then began to walk over to the man, who then turned around and faced them all, and did nothing at all. Sora then took a few more steps before stopping, and on his face, he adopted a hopeful look as he said one word. "Riku?" He asked.

The others looked at eachother with confusion, Riku? Sora's childhood friend? Why would I be here? But then again, if he was here ...But then at that very moment, the man then reached for his hood and pulled it back to reveal…that it wasn't really Riku…it was Xigbar!

"Nope, never heard of him." He said with a smile as he then snapped his fingers and a bunch of Nobodies appeared before the group. These nobodies were humanoid figures dressed in purple bodysuits with their skins being light grey, and the only visible parts of the body shown are their chins and necks. On their heads were purple caps, and covering the left side of the cap were pairs of eyepatches simlairy worn by their leader. The suits appeared to harbor pointed shoulders and their arms belled outward near their elbows, making it look as if they had on gloves. And nn their right gloves was a white Nobody logo that was embezzled, These are known as the Snipers.

"Nobody's!" Sora exclaimed in alarm as he and the others got ready to fight them, as Xibar then smirked and turned to run out of the palace. Leaving only the heroes to deal with his soldiers.

One Sniper then shot a beam of red light at them, but for some odd reason it stopped for a moment before it could hit Sora and he instantly knew what to do. He then immediately teleported away for a brief moment and he shot the arrow back at the Sniper, and he did it again three times. And If that wasn't enough, Oswald soon joined in on the reaction.

Ruby twirled Crescent rose to deflect many of the sniper rounds, and she smirked. "Your skills are good, but nothing compares to mine!" She said as she reached into her pocket and grabbed a cartridge of Ice Dust rounds and loaded it up, and cocked her gun. "Ice Rounds!" She said as he fired many shots that hit the Nobody's causing them all to freeze up.

"Bubble Shield!" Donald shouted as he then summoned a large force-field that blocked an attack from a group of Snipers, who attempted to fire many shots at him, but the blasts were deflected and hit many of the walls, causing some destruction to the palace, but also causing some to hit the other Snipers as well, killing them in an instant.

Goofy held up his shield to block and deflect many of the arrows, Goofy wanted to attack, but he didn't want to get shot at either, what was he going to do? Goof then noticed Stitch, who was shooting at some Snipers as well and in a surprising move, he got an idea! "Stitch!" He called for the small alien. "Help a feeler out!"

"Gotcha!" Stitch said as he then ran over and Goofy knelt down and Stitch got on the shield and Goofy raised it to the air, and Stitch jumped as well. "Take this!" He shouted as he then spun around and fired off as many rounds from his laser as possible, causing many Snipers to get blasted and killed as well.

Ortensia's wand glowed a bit as then a beam of light appeared for the tip of her wand and twirled it around and smirked. "I hope you guys like the taste of my whip." She said as he then used her newest weapon idea to grab ahold of a Sniper and began to twirl it around and around and around until she threw it right to another group of Snipers, causing them all to get hit and knocked out.

Max stabbed a Sniper right in the head with his sword, however, he didn't see where he was going and an arrow hit him right in the chest and caused him to get knocked back a bit into a pillar, causing him to land with a thud. "Ow…" He groaned as he stirred a bit, a Sniper then raised his gun and aimed it right for the young dog knight's head, but before it could pull the trigger.

BANG

The Sniper got its own head blown off by Sun, who had one of his gunchucks in his hand and aimed for the Nobody. "Suck it, Nobody!" He said with a smile.

Mulan dodge-rolled an arrow from a Sniper as she then delivered a swift slash attack from her sword to another Sniper's leg, causing it to go down a bit. "Mushu!" She said as the small dragon came on her shoulder and smiled.

"You got it, girl!" He said as he then delivered a small flame to the sword, causing it to catch on fire. The Snipers fired off their arrows at her, but Mulan twirled the flaming sword, causing many arrows to either deflect or get destroyed by the flames. "For China!" She said as he delivered a fiery sweep, causing all the Nobodies to get burned by the sword.

All the Nobodies were killed and the heroes remained victorious, but now was not the time to celebrate or anything, they had to go warn Shang and the Emperor immediately! They arrived in the throne room, where the Emperor resided in his seat,t and they also saw Shang, but he looked a bit..disheveled. Mulan took notice and got worried.

"Shang!" she called as she went over to tend to him. "Are you alright?" She asked with worry.

Shang however looked at her and nodded. "I'm a bit hurt, but nothing too serious." He said he then took notice of the Travelers of Light. "You all returned." He said.

Sora nodded. "Yea, but we have an issue!" He then turned to the Emperor and bowed. "Your Majesty, a large Heartless has emerged from the mountain and is approaching the city!"

The Emperor didn't seem worried however, but he was in a bit of a state of thought. "Hmm, so what the young man said was true then.." He said, making the others confused. The Emperor saw their looks and he explained that someone had come into the palace a while ago, and that Shang, Yao, Ling, and Chein Po fought him but were defeated.

"To our dishonor…" Shang said, feeling a bit ashamed for not being able to defend his ruler.

The Emperor continued. "It seems like the young man was the one in black that has been talked about around here." He said.

Sora then thought about the man he confronted on the mountain, and he then asked the Emperor a desperate question. "Did he mention the name, Riku?" He asked.

"I do not recall a name." the ruler said. "However, he did seem rude though." He said with a small frown.

That was all Sora needed to hear however as his eyes winded. "Rude? That it WAS RIKU!" He said with a big smile as he then looked down. "Riku was here..he really really was here!" He said.

The others however looked at eachother. "Riku;s in the Organization?" Donald asked, with the others shrugging. It did seem rather strange, since Riku was wearing the black coat…was he really with the Organization?

Mulan had a similar thought, if this Riku was Sora's friend…why was he here? That was a question she asked the young een, and Sor was silent…not really knowing what to say.

BOOM

All of a sudden, a large boom was heard, and it caused the palace to shake up a bit, causing everyone to be rattled a bit.

Jaune looked back to the door and had his hand on the hilt of his sword. "Looks like we got some unwanted company." He said as he looked to the rest. "C'mon guys, let's do this!" He said as he and the others all began to run out.

"Mulan!" Shang said with worry. Mulan turned back to face him and could see that there was worry on it, but was she afraid? Nope.

"Shang, guard the Emperor." She said as she looked to the Travelers of Light. "I'm with them." She said with a confident smile. Shang looked at the Travelers and sighed a bit, she was right. She was with them so he should be alright.

"Just be careful." He said to them all and they all bowed and took their leave. Shang saw them off and he looked a bit worried.

"Captain." The Emperor spoke. "She is in good hands." He reassured him.

Palace/Outside

As the Travelers of Light ran outside to see the commotion, they all saw something flying above them all, and sure enough it was the Storm Rider they saw on the mountains.

The Travelers of Light got a good look at the Heartless and were a bit taken aback by it. "Damn, that's a big fella!" Sun exclaimed.

Sora narrowed his eyes however. "Big, but it's going down the same way!" He said as everyone got ready for battle. The Storm Rider looked down and roared as it then began to fly downers to them at an alarming speed. Sora saw it coming right for them and shouted. "Dodge!" He and the others did as he said and the hitting them, but the wind currents caused them to skid back a bit however. Sora then narrowed at the Heartless and ran towards it. "Oh no you don;t!" He exclaimed as he then jumped on the Heartless's back, with Mulan following suit, and the others looking with bewilderment.

"The heck are you guys doing?" Donald asked with shock on his face. Sora however didn't really hear them as he and Mulan then attacked the head, but nothing seems to work…

"I can't get a good hit on it." Mulan said as he tried everything, but it didn't seem to work, but then the Storm Rider moved a bit too much and both warriors shook a bit, to where Mulans sword hit one of the small horns on the Heartless's back and it let out a roar as it then did a mid-air backflip and caused Sora and Mulan to both fall right off, luckily they didn't fall too far as they were able to land on their feet, after a bit of stumbling at best.

Sora then looked up and knew what to do now. "Guys!" He said to the others. "The horns on top are this weakness, try to aim for the horns!" He said and everyone nodded.

The Storm Rider then flew right over to the group and started to drop many bombs over them, much to their shock.

"Everyone look out!" Sora said as the bombs started to go off all over the place causing the group to scatter a bit and for some to also lose their footing. After everyone started to stand up the Storm Rider then charged up lightning from its front horns and then fired a beam of electricity at them. Sun got hit and he was sent hurling back with a thud.

"Sun!" Everyone was excluded as they all looked up. Stitch growled and got out his blasters and fired off many rounds, but the Storm Rider simply flew right over head before the blasters could make any contact with it. Then the Storm Rider flew right to the entrance to the palace and laid down, and with its horns, it summoned two large walls of electricity.

"What the-?" Donald asked but then the Heartless then fired another lightning beam from its horns and it targeted the group. Luckily Jaune had his shield up and blocked the attack, but the strength of the beam was proving a bit much.

"I need help!" Jaune grunted as he was trying his might to push back the beam. Oswald looked at his keyblade and quickly dodged rolled out of the way, but made sure not to touch the walls. "Strike Raid!" He shouted as he hurled his keyblade at the Heartless, and it then made contact and the Heartless got hit right on the head, causing it to screech a bit and to stop its assault, giving Jaune some relief.

"Alright, now!" Sora said as the others began to attack. Ruby used her Semblance to go into the air and to fire many rounds of Dust to the many small horns on the Storm Rider's back. Sora, Jaune, and all the heavy hitters were delivering blows to the front horns on the head.

Mulan then stood with Donald and Ortenisa. "Mushu!" She said as the small dragon appeared on her shoulder. "For China!"

"I'll handle this!" He said as he then looked up and fired many fireballs into the air.

Donald and Ortensia looked and nodded and held their staffs into the air. "Fire Storm!" They shouted, and with the combined effort of all three fighters. Fireballs and spits of fire rained from the sky and hit the area, but luckily, the Heartless was the only one that got hit, and it screeched in pain due to the flames hitting the many horns.

Sun then breathed a bit as he then used his Semblance to summon many clones to help him up into the air as he then jumped right on the back, he then noticed the many horns and he used his gunchucks to swing and hit them all in fast vigor, causing a few of them to shake as well as beginning to crack. "Guys! The horns are begining to crack!" He said. "I need some more help!" He said.

"Leave it to me, sweetie!" Ortensia said as she twirled her wand and raised it in the air. "Light Storm!" She exclaimed as then, many beams of light began to rain down from the sky and hit the backside of the Storm Rider, causing the horns to crack even more and more until all of a sudden..

CRACK

The horns on the Heartless cracked. And the monster gave a mighty roar as it soared into the air, causing Sun to fall right off. However, due to the fact that the horns were cut off, as well as the assault it took, the Storm Rider began to twitch violently in the air…until it began to fall down.

Unfortunately Mulan was right under this shadow. She wanted to move, but for some odd reason, she found herself too petrified to do so! Everyone called out her name in worry and some even ran over to rescue her, but the shadow was getting much bigger.

"MULAN!" Everyone turned to see Shang running over to her as the Storm Rider fell closer. Shang then immediately grabbed Muland and hugged her tight as the Heartless started to get closer, making everyone scream with worry. However the Heartless began to vanish as its heart took off into the sky. Shang and Mulan weren't hurt at all, and that made everyone happy.

"Alright!" Sora said with a big grin with everyone nodding with smiles on their faces as well. Mulan and Shang then both got up while both were clasping hands, and they both smiled at each other. This action didn't go unnoticed by the others as they all looked at the two and smiled a bit.

"Kissy kissy!" Stitch said as he, Ruby, and Sun made pucker sounds with their lips. Mulan and Shang both saw the action and saw that they were holding each other and quickly separated fast, making the others laugh a bit.

"Hey!" Everyone then turned to see Yoa, Ling, and Chien Po approaching them all. "What did we miss?" Yao asked with a raised eyebrow.

Palace Throne Room

The Travelers of Light and Mula were now standing in front of the Emperor, who was still sitting on his throne with Shang Yao, Ling, and Chien Po standing beside him.

The Emperor looked at them all and nodded. "Once again, you have all saved China." He said with gratitude in his voice. "It would be an honor for me to reward you all." He said to them,

As soon as he said those words many thoughts came to the group's mind. Donald thought of gold and many treasures (even though the group still had plenty of gold from Atlantis) Goofy and Stitch both thought of delicious food to eat, and Ortensia thought of getting some new outfits and jewelry to wear.

Ruby, Jaune, and Sun wanted to ask the Emperor if they had seen any of their friends from Remnant…but something in them didn't. Were they afraid? Or did they know that there was an unlikely chance that they were not in this world…

Sora however thought of something. "Well, I do want to know something." He then looked at the Emperor. "This man in black, what did he say to you?" He asked.

The Emperor raised an eyebrow. "Is that all you request, young man?"

The others looked at Sora and they all shook their heads no. "No, no, no, no!" They thought

"Yes."

"Dang it!" They all thought as the group hung their heads low.

"Very well then." The Emperor said. "Dragons have crossed China and left behind many paths." He began. "These dragons wield a lot of power, and are the source of many gifts to both man and nature." His look then morphed into one of slight anger. "However, it seems that someone of evil intent disturbed one of our dragons. And turned into the creature you refer to as the Heartless." He said. "It is my belief that this young man came to me, to warn me about the incoming danger. And then I could alert my troops and prepare."

The group looked at each other and then back at the ruler. "And something tells us you didn't?" Jaune asked. That was then the Emperor gave a small laugh.

"I was going to, but he said that the situation was all taken care of." He said.

Shang smiled and spoke next. "He said three wise guys, and their new companions arrived, and that they will take care of it." He said.

That was when everyone there gasped a bit, but Donald and Goofy were a bit surprised to be called wise guys, they weren't too happy at being called that. But Sora was ecstatic! Then it was Riku!" The teen said with happiness in his voice.

But the others seem really confused though. "But what's he doing with the Organization?" Ruby asked. It was something they all wanted to know. If Riku was Sora's friend, what was he doing wearing the Organization's coat?

Sora shook his head. "I don't know, but at least I know he's ok. That's good enough." But in his mind, Sora was wondering the same thing. Hopefully once they finally reunite, then he would ask…but at the very least, he was happy that Riku was ok. The others thought the same thing.

The Emperor then turned to Mulan. "Now then, Fa Mulan, do you have a request?" He asked.

Mulan looked at the ruler and down at her feet. "Well…uh…" She stammered a bit. "I'd like Shang…well…the captain…"

At the mention of his name, Shang then gulped a bit and looked to the side while blushing, while Yao, Ling, and Chien Po were smirking. The Emperor however seems to be excited.

"Yes, yes, my dear, what is it?" He asked…rather eagerly.

Mulan cleared her throat. "Would it be alright for the captain to take a vacation, please?" She asked.

Shang looked a bit surprised, and the Emperor? He merely chuckled. "My my, I hardly expected such a humble request." He then stood up to approach the group slightly. "As much as I wish to give you that request..I'm afraid I must refuse. Captain Shang's responsibility is to protect the Emperor." Mulan then looked a bit down crested a bit for having her request turned down, and if one was to look closely, Shang did the same thing…albeit secretly. "And yet, Fa Mulan." Her face rose up to face him. "Would you be honored to stand alongside him to protect me?" He asked.

That request made everyone in the room gasp as the Emperor then looked back to see the tre on his throne. "Two reeds together are stronger than one." He then raised a finger. "However, the choice is yours alone."

Mulan looked at Shang and smiled. All her life she wanted nothing more than to find her purpose, to break the stereotype of a girl who was forced to comply to mens whims. And here she was! The woman who saved all of China, serving alongside captain Shang to protect the Emperor….she smiled and nodded. "It would be an honor, your Excellency." She said,

"Whoo!" Ling said happily as he pumped his arms in the air. "Now she can stay!" Yao and Chien Po smiled and nodded as well.

Mulan smiled at the three soldiers as she and Shang boy looked at each other, she then went over to him closely, and it made him blush a bit. Sora and the others smiled at the scene, Sora then felt a tear come out of his eye as he rubbed them. The others sas this and smirked.

"Awe, is someone a softy for this sort of stuff?" Sun asked.

Sora gasped. "I wasn't crying!" He exclaimed. "Dust got in my eye!" He said, with everyone laughing at him…poor kid. He then sighed and looked at the Emperor. "Your majesty, we thank you for the information…but now I think it's about time we get going."

"What?" Yao asked. "But you all just got here!"

"We know, Yao.." ruby said. "But we still need to find friends. And it looks like only one of them left already…"

Mulan frowned a bit. "Sorry your visit was short."

Jaune smiled. "No problem Mulan, we are just glad to see that your home was saved once again."

Shang smiled at them. "We will wait for your return." He said with a smile.

"Woah, woah,woah!" The group were startled as Mushu came out of Mans' back. "You all aint leaving without saying goodbye to the mighty dragon, are ya?"

Ruby giggled. "Of course not, take care of yourself Mushu. You are one cool dragon."

Mushu smiled proudly. "Dang right, I'm a cool dragon!" He said, with Mulan rolling her eyes a bit.

Yao, Ling, and Chien Po walked up to them. "Sorry if your visit was short, let's all get together when you come back, alright?' Yao asked.

"I still need to show you all some good Chinese food." Chein Po said with a smile

Sora laughed. "We'll hold you all to it." He said as they all then began to walk out of the throne room, not eeyore giving one final wave towards the residents. The Land of Dragons were saved once again.

Remnant/Branwen Camp

The Branwen Tribe is a bandit clan located in the Anima region of Remnant. This clan would do many raids on villages and leave any survivors vulnerable to Grimm attacks. Their leader is Raven Branwen, the sister of Qrow who lived by the philosophy "The Strong live, the weak die"

However something was different about the cam however, normally there would be life and people walking amongst it….but not now though.

"Hmm, seem's the Spring Maiden managed to get away." Xigbar said. Standing alongside him were Saїx and Xaldin, all three of them were now standing in the partially destroyed camp, with the bodies of the several bandits lying dead in a pool of blood. But seriously though, after seeing what we are capable of…they should've known better than to mess with us."

Xaldin was wiping blood off of his many lances. "Agreed…too bad their hearts were too weak for darkness." He said as he turned to his two companions. "You two take care of everything else…I have an important thing to take care of." He said as he opened a corridor of darkness and vanished through it.

Saїx sighed as he looked down. "Well, nothing we can do about it now." He said as he put the claymore away. "Sora is doing a great job in taking care of the Heartless."

"Agreed." Xigbar said. "Once we slay many, Kingdom Hearts will be complete, and we will finally be whole once more." He said as he looked around. "Still, to think that the Maidens are that powerful." Xigbar smirked. "Good thing we got the fire girl on our side." He then scowled. "After Axel decided to go rogue, she will be a good replacement."

"Agreed." Saїx said as a corridor of darkness opened up. "I wonder where Raven ran off to."

"We'll find her." Xigbar said as the two members began to take their leave, but not before hearing wheezing.

"P-please.." They both turned to see a lone survivor, injured and gurgling on blood a bit. "Help me."

Xigbar looked at the man and smirked as he walked over and stomped on the man's chest, causing the injured bandit to cough a bit. "Well, you're begging? I thought the infamous Branwen Tribe didn't need to beg." He said cruelly as he then got out one of his arrow guns. "Afterall, what was it your tribe said?" He asked as he pointed his arrow gun to the man's head.

"No! P-please!" The man begged, but Xigbar gave the man a cruel smile.

"The Strong live….the weak die." He said as he pulled the trigger and fired an arrow that pierced the bandit's head, instantly killing him.

And we are done with this one folks! I am so sorry for leaving and I am returning to you all. So I hope you all like it :)

So after giving it some thought, I have decided that yes, Gastone will appear in the story, and I got some ideas for the fights and how they will sorta intermingle with each other. So stay tuned for that!

Sorry if the story for Land of Dragons was too short, I didn't think of some original plot to work with.
