Hey everybody I have retired with a new chapter of RWBy Hearts for ya!
Last time, Yang had a conversation with herself. Her mother said that in order to feel free again, all she has to do is to kill Blake and embrace darkness in her heart, will she do it?
Also, The Travelers of Light had returned to Beast's Castle, where Xaldin had arrived and is now causing trouble, what is going to happen now?

Beast's Castle/Annex Hall
"Father?" The others asked as Belle helped the old man up with some assistance from the others and brought him over to a bench.
Belle looked at them and nodded. "This is my father, Maurice." She said as she then looked to her father, who was a bit out of breath. "Are you ok?" She asked.
"Yea," He said. "Sorry, I was in a bit of a hurry." He said as he wiped the sweat from his head, he then looked at her and he hugged her. "Oh my daughter." He said as she accepted it. "I'm glad you're ok."
Belle smiled. "I feel the same as you." She said as they broke up the hug. "But what are you doing here?"
"I came to warn you about Gas-" He then noticed the others and raised an eyebrow. "Oh, hello. Are you all residents of here as well?" He asked.
Sora smiled a bit. "Not really, we're friends of Belle's." He said as the others nodded in agreement. "I'm Sora, and these are my friends, Donald, Goofy, Ruby, Jaune, Sun, Oswald Ortensia, Stitch, and Max."
Maurice looked at them and smiled. "Well, I'm Maurice." He then frowned. "But listen, I came to warn you about something." He said to Belle, who looked worried. "It's Gaston!"
"W-what?" she asked in a bit of nervousness.
"Gaston?" Oswald asked.
Belle sighed. "A guy from my village." She then shook her head. "An egotistical hunter seen as the hero…he also wants me to marry him." She said, "But I do not love him, nor will I ever will." She said as her voice dripped in disgust a bit.
Thai didn;t go unnoticed by the others and raised eyebrows. "I guess this guy takes no for an answer?" Ortensia asked.
"No!" Belle exclaimed. "I said no many times before, but he doesn't get it. He won't rest until I become his wife. But he is egotistical, he thinks that women shouldn't think! He's…he's-"
"A monster?" Stitch asked, and Belle nodded her head. They haven't even met and already the group hated Gaston's guts.
"So what about this guy?" Sun asked with his arms crossed.
Maurice took a breath. "He is on his way here! With a mob!" He said. "That is why I came here!" Maruce then grabbed Belle's hand. "We must leave immediately!" He said as he then got up and tried to drag Belle to the door, but Belle pulled the hand away. "Belle?" He asked.
Belle sighed. "I can't leave him." She said, "I can't abandon the Beast." She said,
Maurice was a bit flabbergasted. "Wh-what?" He asked. "But, he's…he's!"
"Listen!" Belle exclaimed. "I understand he has a bad temper, but when I traded myself for you, I spent time with him. And yes temperament aside, he's a really sweet, soft creature underneath. He even saved me from wolves!" She said to him,
Maurice looked at her with a mixture of shock and confusion on his face. But..when he was captured by the Beast, the beat was nothing but cruel to him…why was he different with Belle? Maurice believed his daughter, but he was still conflicted of course, he then turned to the others. "You all, you have been with Belle before, and I'm sure you've been with the beast."
Goofy nodded. "Yes sir, and Belle is right, sure he has a bad temper, but he is a big old softie! He helped us many times!" He said, with the others nodding their heads in agreement.
Maurice looked at his daughter with a pleading look and he looked down and sighed a bit. "Alright, well…if you're really sure." Marucie said with a small smile appearing, with Belle hugging him out of thanks. Maurcie broke the hug and looked at everyone present. "What do we do?"
Jaune looked at him. "Maurice, how close is this Gaston?" He asked.
"I don't know, I left immediately as he gathered up the mob, he tried to shoot at me but I was able to get away fast."
"He shot at you?" Belle asked, outraged that her father was nearly killed.
"Belle!" Ruby Said as he put her hand on the woman's shoulder. "Now is not the time, we have to defend the castle!"
"Right!" Oswald said. "Listen, let's break up into teams!" He said. "Sora, Ortensia, Donald, Sun, Ruby, and I will go talk to Beast. Everyone else, get the residents ready, we need to fight back against the mob!"
"Right!" Everyone said in unison as they all began to scatter. Jaune and the others were about to head to the ballroom, until they all saw the servants approaching them.
"Fear not!" Cogsworth said. "We heard everything! And we will fight for our home!"
Jaune nodded. "Good, we need to get ready to fight back. Cogsworth, Lumire you both go to all the servants and let them know that a mob is on the way and prepare to fight if necessary. Mrs. Potts, can you escort Belle and Maurice to the dungeons? They'll be safe down there."
"That I can do, dear. Hurry you two." Mrs. Piotts said as Belle and Maurice began to follow her down to the West Hall.
Jaune looked at Ruby. "Ruby, Sun, if the villagers start coming we'll call you back down here. We're going to need help."
"No problem bro." Sun said as he gave Jaune a fistbump, and Ruby and Jaune both looked and nodded while giving determined smiles. "Alright everyone, let's move!" He said as everyone scattered off to their prospective places.
West Wing/Beast's Room
Sora's group arrived into Beast's Room, where he was out of his suit and back to wearing his pants and cape, looking at the empty stand that holds the rose, hsi face speaking volumes of sadness.
"Beast." Sora said firmly. "We need to talk."
Beast sighed. "Please go away."
Oswald frowned. "Beast, you need to hear this, whether you like it or not." He said.
Sora nodded. "Beast, when I first met you in Hollow Bastion a year ago, you were fearless. You would've given your life to save Belle." Sora looked at his hands. "Do you know how that meant to us all? To me?" He asked. "When Donald and Goofy abandoned me, I was almost ready to give up right then and there." He then smiled a bit. "But when you told me that you were giving up till you rescued her. It gave me back my courage and confidence! It helped us all then! And even helped us when we came here the first time." He then frowned a bit. "Maybe you should've kept some of that courage to yourself."
"Don't tell us you're going to give all that up right then and there." Sun said. "I followed my friend Blake when she was down, and I didnt leave her alone for a moment when she left her team behind after the attack at Beacon." He said. Ruby looked at him and smiled, Blake having told her about all of that.
"Thank you again for watching her, Sun." Ruby thought gratefully.
"The rose is your only hope, right?" Ortnesia asked. "Well it's also hope for Cogsworht and the rest as well. If you remain a beast, then they remain as household objects forever. I know you don't want them to suffer just for your sake."
Beast was wondering about all of the words they were saying. And they were right, sure he thought he deserved to be a beast, but he doesn't want his servants to remain as objects forever…and Belle…no matter how many times he yelled, no matter how many times he lost his cool…Belle was always at his side, and never gave up on him in the slightest! Even back when Xaldin took control of him…Belle never gave up on him.
"Yes…" He said. The others smiled. "Before she came here…I thought that I would remain a beast forever…but Belle…Belle was always there for me, no matter how many times I lost my temper, she always stood with me." He said, the memories of him and Belle coming to him. "And when this world fell into darkness and she was taken, my heart allowed me to survive and follow her to Hollow Bastion." He said.
Sora nodded at him. "See? You can't give up hope. And if we are going to be honest, the rose is fine." He said as the Beast faced him. "Xaldin most likely took the rose to get you riled up."
"But knowing the Organization…he might destroy it…" The others thought with dread.
Beast pondered Sora words and slowly nodded. MAybe he was right, what if Xaldin took the rose just to get him angry?
BEEP BEEP
Ruby reached into her pocket to get her scroll and answered. "Ruby," Jaune's voice answered from the other side. "You and the others better get back to the entrance hall…we got company." He said with some anger in his voice as he hung up.
Ruby then faced the others. "Everyone, we got to head back!" She said as she and the others began to take off. However, Beast stayed behind for a few moments to take a look at the stand. He took a deep breath and thought about something.
"Xaldin will give me the rose back, and he will never be invited here!" He thought as he then rushed to join his aquta-no…his friends to battle!
Entrance Hall
Ruby's group all made it back in time to see the others all looking up and having their weapon drawn. They looked up to see Xaldin standing over them all, the rose in his hand and giving them all a wicked grin.
"I was so hoping that you would give up." Xaldin said to them. The comment made Breast growl at him a bit.
"What are you all after?" Sora demanded as he had his keyblade in hand.
Xaldin looked down at the boy. "Kingdom Hearts." He said, making both Sora and the others look at him with a look of shock. "You see, once Kingdom Hearts belongs to the Organization, we can fully and completely exist."
The others looked at him with confusion dn shock. Exist? But they are right here, so they should already exist…right? But wait, Kingdom Hearts…that was what that man back at Hollow Bastion was talking about to them.
"The rage of the Keyblade releases the hearts of theHeartless, then they gather in darkness, masterless and free. Until they all come together and form into the most powerful heart of all…Kingdom Hearts." The man's voice said in their heads, most especially Sora, Ruby, Jaune, and Sun's. "And once the time comes. We can truly, finally exist."
"So you see, Beast?" Xaldin's voice allied them back to reality. "That's why we need both your Heartless ANd you're Nobody!" He said. "But then again, I already have a backup plan in mind." He said as he pointed to a window and everyone looked to see smoke outside. "The mob is almost here." He said with a cruel smile. "So even if we do not get Beast's Heartless….Gaston will b ea worthy replacement." He said as he then disappeared.
"WAIT!" Jaune called, but he disappeared with the rose.
Beast growled at the man, not only did he take off with the rose, but he discovered Xaldin's role and what he really wanted. "So that's why…" Everyone looked at the Beast. "That;s why he is here…my anger…he wants me to become Heartless…" He said as he looked at his paws with worry, but then he saw a hand grab them and he turned to Ruby, who looked at him with a comforting look.
"We won't let that happen to you." She said to him with a warm smile, Beast looked at her and he smiled back.
"Thank you." He said
BANG
Everyone turned to see that the large doors were banging, Gaston and the mob were already here.
"Everyone!" Beast said to them. "I'll deal with the leader, you all get these bastards out of my castle!"
"Yes sir!"
Beast nodded as he was about to take off, but not before looking back. "And everyone, make sure Belle is safe and out of harm's way." He said as everyone nodded and he took off once more.
Lumiere got everyone's attention. "Alright everybody, let's all get into formation!" He said as all the servants and every other appliance got into position, with the Travelers of Light all hiding behind some drawers and cupboards. And all the lights in the place turned off.
BANG
The doors were forced open by the mob, some of whom had a large log in their hands as a battering ram. Gaston and LeFou were at the front of the pack, Gaston armed with a blunderbuss at his side.
The Travelers took a glance and saw them all, and then they laid eyes on Gaston. "That's Gaston?" Sora thought.
Jaune got a good look at him, and as soon as he did, he was instantly reminded of a certain person who used to bully him back at Beacon…Cardin Winchester. Jaune glared hard as he tightened the grip on the handle of his sword.
"Everyone look around!" Gaston ordered, and everyone complied. They all looked around and some of them looked a bit nervous, but Gaston kept his macho man up. As they moved closer, the team all got ready for a fight.
Then LeFou walked and grabbed a hold of Lumiere and raised it up and when he did. "NOW!" Lumiere shouted as all of a sudden, all the servants came springing into action and began to fight the villagers. Gaston took notice of them all and was shocked. Why was the furniture moving? What sort of castle was this? Gasto quickly shook those thoughts out of his head as he then looked up the stairs and assumed that was where the beast was at, and he quickly made his way up.
As the Travelers of Light jumped out and were about to join the fight, Cogsworth called out to them. "Go and help the master!" He exclaimed. "We'll handle the mob!" Sora didn't want to leave them and Cogsworth noticed and frowned. "We'll be fine!" He said.
Sora and the others looked to see the servants all pretty much handling themselves in taking on the mob, and he did have a point, they would all possibly get in the way. "Guys, let's go!" He said as they all then began to follow Gaston.
West Wing
Gaston, armed with his blunderbuss, was now scanning the halls, looking for where the beast would be hiding, and also where his beloved Belle would be at. "Belle!" He called out. "Fear not! Your husband has come to rescue you from this horrid creature!"
BANG
Gaston heard a shot and turned to see a hole in the wall next to him steaming, he then turned to see Ruby and the others there, in fighting stances and Ruby holding her gun. "The next one won't miss!" Ruby exclaimed in anger. Gaston took a look at the group before him, and even though he was confused by some of them, he took a glance at Ruby and Jaune and he remembered the words the man told him at the tavern
"There's a group of people who are friends of his, one of them is a girl with a red cape, the other is a blond-haired knight" The man's voice echoed in his head, and he then looked at them with a stern look.
"You two." Gaston said. "Where is Belle?"
"Are you Gaston?" Sun asked.
"That's right, boy, the most handsome man in the village." the egotistical hunter said as he flexed his muscles in front of them, but needless to say, the group were not impressed. "Now tell me where my wife is."
The Ortensai gland is hard. "Belle is not your wife!"
Gaston gave a laugh. "Of course she is a catwoman." He said, making Ortensia growl a bit at him. "She just hasn't agreed to-"
"Spare us the lies you blow hard!" Max said to him. "She told us all about how you tried to get her to marry you."
"And you refuse to say no even though she said no." Ruby said with a glare. "If you were a true gentleman you would respect her wishes!"
"Plus, she told us how you're some hero in your village." Jaune said to him. "I'm sure any other girl would want you, so why Belle?" He asked.
Gaston looked at them and laughed. "Because, she is the prettiest girl in the entire village, and as such, she's the only one good enough for me!" He said. Those words made the group glare at him. "Besides, she is a woman!"
"And what may I ask, do you mean?" Ortensia asked as her grip on her wand tightened.
Gaston smirked. "Women should not have any independence at all, all Belle does is read those silly books of hers. And once she marries me, I will show her what her place really is." He then looked at Jaune and Oswald. "I'm sure you two agree that those two women in your group shouldnt-
"SHUT UP!" Oswald shouted he dashed over, Keyblade in hand and attempted to strike Gaston, but the hunter quickly used his blunderbuss to block the attack. "DON'T YOU DARE TALK ABOUT MY WIFE LIKE THAT!" He shouted with fury in his voice. Gaston then quickly maneuvered and jammed the rabbit in the gut with the end of his gun, causing the rabbit to go sliding back.
"Honey Bunny!" Ortensia called in alarm as she went over to her husband.
Gaston glared hard at them. "I have no time to waste on you!" He said. "I want those two!" He said as he pointed to Ruby and Jaune, much to the group's confusion. "The man in black told me to capture those two. And then he will get Belle, so get over here!" He said.
Jaune glared hard. "What are you going to do if we don't?" He asked. "You do realize there's ten of us and one of you, right?" He asked.
Gaston glared at them and smirked. "Then I'll take you by force if I have to." He said as he cocked his gun.
"Bring it on!" Stitch said as he had his blasters ready.
Dungeon
Belle and Maurice were in the dungeons away from the fighting. Belle looked up and was worried for everyone up there. All of them were fighting for her…she didn't want to stand on the sidelines…so she then fronwe and got up.
Maurice looked up at her. "Belle?" He asked.
Belle shook her head. "Father, I'm going up there." But Maurice grabbed her hands.
"Belle, you can't! You saw the mob! They-"
"Dad…there's something we need to talk about." She said as she then sat down with him and told him her story. "During the months I was here…this world fell into darkness, and I was captured by a witch by the name of Maleficent, and a man named Asnem." Maruince looked confused, but allowed his daughter to continue. "I was captured because I am a Princess of Heart, me and a few others who were going to be used to unlock something horrible…but Beast Sora, and the others came and rescued us all." She then got up. "Father, I am not going to leave them to fight for me…I'm going up there to fight."
Maurice looked at his daughter with a look of shock. "Belle…" He started.
"So, the princess decided to fight back huh?" The two then looked to see Xaldin standing over them with his arms behind his back. "As I expected..your heart is full of light, no darkness in it at all."
Belle glared hard at him. "Why did you bring Gaston here?" she asked him. "Beast and Sora will stop him and you."
Xaldin smirked. "The hunter is nothing more but a pawn to me." He said. "I sensed the darkness in his heart when I went to the tavern in your village." He said. "Originally, the plan was to have Beast fall into darkness so I can take both his Heartless and his Nobody…but it seems like plans have changed."
Belle's eyes widened as she then realized who he was talking about. "Gaston!" She said.
Xaldin nodded. "Gaston's darkness is building up. He will become the perfect Heartless and Nobody." He said with a smile as he then snapped his fingers, summoning several Nobodies and Heartless at his command, making Maurice shout in fright.
Belle was calm though, she looked at the creatures in front of her. Normally she would be afraid…but her experiences in Hollow Bastion changed her. She was not afraid, she would not be afraid anymore. She closed her eyes and took a calm breath as her entire body began to radiate a white aura. She opened her eyes to give Xaldin a glare. "I am a Princess of Heart, you and your Heartless are not welcome in this world." She said as her aura radiated even brighter, so much that the light was causing both the Heartless and Nobodies to vanish.
Xaldin was not scared however, in fact…he seemed impressed. As his small army was banished by the light he smirked. "I expected much from a Princess of Heart." He said as Belle glared at him. "However," He said as he then reached behind his back to pull out a familiar object…the rose!
As soon as she saw the rose, Belle looked alarmed. "The rose!" She said as she reached forward but then in a flash, a lance was pointing right at her, courtesy of Xaldin, in which he had the sharp tip pointing right at her throat.
"Belle!" Maurice said as he then saw a small rock and grabbed it. "Get away from my daughter!" He shouted but he was kicked back by Xaldin, Belle was about to reach out to him but she was stopped halfway with the tip of Xaldin's lance touching her neck. Then a bunch of Nobody's surrounded the old man with their weapons in hand.
"Make a move, and your father dies." The crooked man said to her with a smirk. "You're coming with me." Belle didn't want to go with him at all, but she didn't want her father to die at this monster's hands…she sighed as her aura then vanished.
"Alright..I'll go with you."
Xaldin smiled. "Good girl."
West Wing
CLANK
Jaune tried to downward slice at Gaston, but the man used his gun to block and push the young knight back. Gaston then loaded his blunderbuss to shoot them all, but the group were able to dodge out of the way in time, the shot hitting a piece of armor instead.
"Try this, you creep!" Ruby shouted as she then fired several rounds of Dust from her gun at him, but Gaston smirked and pulled a piece of armor out to deflect the bullets, and they did, with some going out a nearby window and one unfortunately hitting Donald in the butt.
"Watch it!" Donald shouted, causing Ruby to apologize to him. "THUNDAGA!" He shouted as a lightning bolt appeared and hit Gaston.
The hunter growled in pain, but he would not let that stop him, he then threw the gun down and pulled a sword from a suit of armor and ran towards them, Sora ran and struck bak, causing the two blades to spark a bit.
"After I'm done with you! Belle will be my bride, and your friend's heads will make nice additions to the tavern walls!" He said to him, causing Sore to push him back and swing at him, but the hunter was able to block every single attack thrown at him.
"Over my dead body, you bastard!" Sora said as he delivered a strong kick to the hunters stomach, making Gaston go backward a bit. Gaston then clutched his stomach as he saw the group, all of them giving glares of hatred.
Dark mist then radiated off of Gaston as he clutched the sword very tightly. "You little brats!" He exclaimed as he raised the word, getting ready to rush them. "I'm gonna-" but then he was tapped on the shoulder, he looked behind him to see and his eyes winded.
"Boo..."
BAM
Gaston was knocked back to a window and fell out, and who did it? Beast! Beast arrived in time to help them out and knocked Gaston out of the window, making the hunter scream a bit as he fell out. Beast then looked over the window and sighed. "I'm glad you're all ok." He said. "I just got word from Cogsworth that the villagers are all escaping." He said.
Stitch smiled. "Good." He said with hsi furry arms crossed.
Beast smiled. "Let's go get Belle, I'm sure she will.
"BEAST!"
Soon a familiar voice called out and everybody soon rushed over to the window to look down. And to their shock, Belle was held by Xaldin, who had the rise with him, and Gaston was next to him, seemingly not hurt at all.
"Belle!" Beat exclaimed as he then jumped right out of the window. Sora nodded to the others and they all followed suit and jumped out the window.
And we are going to stop there everybody. Hope you enjoyed it.
Anyway I hope you enjoyed the first part of the fight. Sorry if I didn't have the Travelers of Light fight the villagers. I just didn't know how to get them to fight them, you know? Plus I didn't want them to overshadow the servants.
Next fight will be the final between The Travelers of Light, Beast, Xaldin, and Gaston.
So if you didn;t notice the alert for my other fic. Dark Horizons will be going on a hiatus till RWBY Hearts is finished, we are into the game here and I want to get thai fic done before I move onto something else.
Also since we only got a week left til Chirstmans. I am going to be taking a small break and will be back in the new year. My goal is to hopefuly get this fic done sometime in the year of 2025.
