The next time Harry and Pansy had time for a date beyond studying together wasn't until late March. Harry decided to take her (and the constant company of Andromeda and Teddy) to his family property, The Kiln. It was hidden during the war to protect it. But it had also been where his grandparents had died of Dragonpox. The disease was so contagious that any known location had to be quarantined for fifteen years afterward.

Harry smiled wistfully as he looked at the grand wooden house and large barn, where he knew from a previous trip there was a pottery studio. Pansy looked around with wide eyes. Nobody had been to the Kiln in almost twenty years.

"How is everything in such good shape?"

Harry smiled secretively, "Well..there might have been some help. My grandparents had an elf named Mimsy. She never caught the pox so she stayed and maintained the property. But she was trapped by the quarantine bubble so she never knew where I was. She's old now, older than Kreacher, so I feel bad about giving her too many orders but she insists."

"If she's been here this whole time, why didn't she find you after the quarantine ended?"

"Well, because my grandparents were quarantined before I was born, I never got connected to Mimsy so she didn't know about me."

Pansy wrapped her arms around Berry. She knew through their talks how lonely he'd been growing up. She couldn't help but feel knowing he had Mimsy would've been a bright spot for him.

He stood for a moment and enjoyed the embrace of his fiancee. They had come a long way from where they'd been in the summer.

"Alright this is not the date. The date is having a picnic by the pond over there." He pointed to a sunny spot where a blanket and basket had been set out beside a deep looking pond.

They walked over, Harry carrying Teddy, and sat down with Andromeda sitting a reasonable distance away to give the illusion of privacy. Harry opened the basket, even he didn't know what Mimsy had packed, and found cream cheese and cucumber sandwiches and cut up fruit, as well as a large flask of green tea.

The group sat and ate and watched Teddy pick dandelions for a while. Then Pansy asked a pointed question.

"What do you think you'll do once our tests are done?"

Harry scratched his nose, " I guess I'll take up my seats in the Wizengamot. But maybe I'll learn pottery. Take up the family practice." They chuckled.

"What about you?"

She gave him a droll look. "Women of my standing aren't expected to work outside the home once married and we'll be there not long after we take our tests."

He frowned. "That's not right. You're just as capable as I am."

Pansy gave him a small smile. Then Andromeda spoke up, "There are folks who believe witches' magic in the home makes it safer for babies. It's also harder on witches to work during pregnancy as half their magic is going to the baby to protect the womb."

Harry nodded slowly. He didn't really know anything about pregnancy especially magic pregnancy but guessed he'd have to learn sooner or later.

Pansy cleared her throat. "Do you have any opinions about the wedding? It's coming closer."

"I hadn't really thought about it. But I think I'd like to have it here."

The dark haired girl nodded. "The where is important. I have no issue with it being here. What about who we invite?"

"I'd like to invite the Weasleys, Neville and Luna, and Hagrid."

"What if we invite the Hogwarts staff? I'm sure Professor McGonagal would like to see you. I know a lot of people don't like him, but I quite like Professor Slughorn."

"Alright. Um…I probably have to invite the Wizengamot. Maybe to the reception instead of the wedding itself?" He looked to Andromeda. She nodded, he could do that.

After that was settled, they talked about school work and Teddy's growth as they watched the youngster crawl around chasing butterflies.
