Harry's second Christmas with the Parkinsons came quicker than a blink of the eye. He was now more comfortable calling Douglass and Ellenora by their first names. They sat together in the drawing room of Parkinson Manor and exchanged gifts and pleasantries. Pansy had made him a painting of the sea, animated waves lapping at the shore with sea birds making light squawking in the distance. He had gotten her earrings made of amber with preserved flowers embedded inside. He treasured her more and more and had grown to love her family ust as much.

This year they were also celebrating with the Black sisters and Teddy. Draco (fortunately) was busy with his fiancee's family, the Greengrasses.

He had wanted to see the Weasleys but it didn't work out as planned. But Molly had invited him and Pansy to a big meal on Boxing Day. She had also sent the requisite Weasley WInter Sweaters, one for him in green and one for Pansy in a soft purple.

Pansy had whispered to him at her parent's how much she appreciated the sweater. She knew how much the Weasleys meant to him and was happy to be accepted into the group.

They spent the morning with her parents and then had a few hours apart to get ready for an early dinner with the Blacks. Teddy was growing so fast. He could babble some words and was quick! If you took your eyes off him for just a moment, he'd be across the house in a flash.

Andromeda and Narcissa greeted Pansy warmly. Andromeda had gotten to know her well over the past year and a half. Narcissa, though, had known her as Draco's playmate and assumed future partner. They talked in the sitting room for a bit while Kreacher finished dinner and eventually summoned the family into the dining room.

The small, elderly elf had created a sumptuous feast: individual beef wellingtons, mash swede and potatoes, candied carrots, warm rolls, and more.

They ate and laughed over conversation until Teddy's bed time. Then, Harry made the offer of hosting the sisters overnight and Kreacher eagerly helped put Teddy in a large crib that had served generations of Black babies. The older women sighed in relief at not having to leave yet. Narcissa wrote a short note and called a Malfoy elf to bring it to Draco so that he needn't worry.

Then as they were all adults, they broke out a bottle of wine and continued to enjoy their holiday into the night.
