(The scene opens at Animville's Town Square, where a massive stage is set up for the annual Screaming Contest. A banner reads "ANIMVILLE'S SCREAMING CHAMPION!" The crowd cheers as the host, a yellow cockroach in a sparkly suit, steps up to the microphone.)

Host: "Ladies and gentlemen, roaches and rodents, welcome to the loudest, wildest event of the year! Tonight, two of the most ear-splitting, voice-cracking screamers in the city will face off for the grand prize—a lifetime supply of throat lozenges!"

(The audience claps as Seymour, a yellow cockroach with an oversized mouth, steps up, grinning smugly. Opposite him, Shrieky, a light-blue cockroach with a fierce look, flips her antenna dramatically.)

Host: "In this corner, the one, the only, the master of the megaphone voice—SEYMOUR!"

Seymour: ("Hah! This'll be easy!")

Host: "And in the other corner, the shrillest screamer in town, the queen of ear-piercing perfection—SHRIEKY!"

Shrieky: ("Hope you brought earplugs, Seymour!")

(The audience cheers as the host raises his microphone.)

Seymour & Shrieky: ("Oh, we were born ready!")

(A referee cockroach raises a decibel meter, ready to measure their screams. The contest begins with Seymour taking the first turn.)

Seymour: ("STAND BACK!") —he takes a deep breath and lets out a mind-shattering scream that shakes the entire stage. The decibel meter spikes, and audience members hold onto their seats as hats fly off heads.

Host: "Incredible! Seymour clocks in at 130 decibels! That's as loud as a jet engine!"

(Shrieky smirks and steps up.)

Shrieky: ("Hah! Child's play!")

(She inhales deeply and unleashes a glass-shattering scream, sending nearby birds flying for cover and making buildings tremble. The decibel meter explodes.)

Host: "UNBELIEVABLE! SHIRIEKY BREAKS THE METER! This is neck and neck, folks!"

(As the two competitors prepare for a final round, they suddenly hear an enormous CRACK—Animville's tallest building is swaying from the force of their voices!)

Seymour: ("Uh-oh... That's new.")

Shrieky: ("Oops. I think we overdid it.")

Host: ("SOMEBODY STOP THAT BUILDING FROM FALLING!")

(Realizing they have to fix the chaos they caused, Seymour and Shrieky look at each other.)

Seymour: ("I got an idea. If we scream together, maybe we can push it back upright!")

Shrieky: ("For once, you're making sense! Let's do this!")

(They take the deepest breath yet and unleash a combined scream so powerful it counteracts the collapse, stabilizing the building.)

Host: ("AND THE CROWD GOES WILD! WHAT A SHOW!")

(As the dust settles, the crowd cheers, and the host raises a trophy.)

Host: "And the winners, for the first time ever in a tie—SEYMOUR AND SHRIEKY!"

Seymour & Shrieky: ("Wait, WHAT?!")

(They glare at each other, then shrug as the audience roars in approval. The scene ends with the two walking offstage, arguing about who was actually louder.)

Shrieky: ("We both know I won, right?")

Seymour: ("Pfft, in your dreams! I totally carried that finale!")

(The camera pans to a frazzled audience member, stuffing cotton in their ears.)
