Yumi's POV

"I thought you'd never ask!" I said to Sora.

Was it not but a few moments ago when I was asking for a puzzle? Puzzles are my jam!

I walked over to the picture and took time to really look at it. There wasn't much to go on: it looked like a historical photo from when Neverland was discovered. Captain Hook was talking to some of the natives of the island, there was a fire and a few teepees in the back, and that was about it.

"Tinkerbell, were there any other photos in the rest of the caves?"

She flew over to me and nodded, pointing one hand to the other eye socket cave and one below to the mouth.

"Okay, looks like there are two more photos. I'll go back down to the mouth, Sora you go back to the other eye, and…"

I trailed off as I looked at who we were working with to crack this code. Not that I had anything against the group, but they were, in fact, children, and I had already seen first hand how they were dealing with this "adventure." There was a lot of bickering, a lot of goofing off, and a lot of rough housing. How do teachers deal with groups of these mongrels all day and actually teach them anything was beyond me.

"We'll stay here and protect the treasure," Cubby said.

After exchanging a brief look with Sora, he told the boys, "Fine. But don't you dare try to enter any of the numbers until we tell you. If you guys end up getting hurt because you didn't listen you will be in so much trouble."

I held back a laugh. Sora was trying so hard to be intimidating but it was so hard to take him seriously while he was dressed up in his old man nighttime attire. The boys, however, seemed to hold him in some kind of fatherly authority and agreed. Peter said he would watch to make sure the boys behaved and Sora and I were off to our respective caves.

I floated down to the entrance of the mouth cave and paused when my feet touched the shallow water. Logically, I knew I had nothing to be afraid of, but Luxord's warning was still ringing in my head. This was by no means the hardest task we had to face so was his message meant to mess with us or was there something we were missing? I thought about what Sora had said when all the combinations on the chest were wrong and how they had to fight each time they messed up as I walked into the dark cave. There's no way Luxord thought some low level nobodies and heartless would make this out to be so difficult unless we all swam there and messed up a bunch of times, but he would have had to have figured flying was a possibility. He also should have factored in that Sora and I could have gone on our own and after a few attempts of getting it wrong we would have stopped, so we wouldn't be super exhausted. There's no way he would have banked on us being that dumb. But what else would there be to do besides open that chest. So why did I get the sneaking suspicion that there was still something massive we were missing?

I looked up and saw another photo in front of me. Again, of the historical variety, Hook and Smee were out in the water looking out through a telescope towards the shoreline. You could see a campsite set up with a fire and some people mulling about. A fire, a tent, and a few people around the campsite. Not much for me to go on, so I memorized as much as I could and flew out to Sora.

"What did you find?" I asked as I landed beside him.

"Not much," he admitted. "Just this photo of Hook and Smee on the boat."

Sora pointed to the wall and I inspected the scene: it had Captain Hook talking to Smee as they sailed by Skull Rock. You could see the shoreline behind them with what looked like a campsite set up with a fire and some people mulling about.

"What are you thinking?" Sora asked.

"Seems to me that these are pictures chronicling Hook's adventures here in Neverland. Each photo shows something that must have been significant in his life, but I guess it's up to us to figure out why."

"And what does that have to do with the code on the safe?"

I hummed as I began to talk out my thinking process.

"Well it seems to me there needs to be a common thread between the pictures that should hint to the numbers we need. If I'm looking at similarities, minus Hook being in all of them, there was always a campsite on a beach. In the last photo it was hard to really get much detail out of it, but if I compare it to the first you can definitely see that it was where the natives of the island were living. What similarities am I seeing here…"

Sora looked at the picture as well and we stood in silence for a few minutes.

"How many teepees were in each photo?" Sora asked.

I thought back.

"Smart. There were five in the one in the other eye socket, two here, and it was too hard to tell from the photo in the mouth because it was so small."

"Okay. I can go back and check, but then we need to think about the order."

"Right. The photos seem to tell the tale of Captain Hook, so maybe the order of the numbers match up with the order of the events?"

"And those would be…?"

I was stumped.

"Okay you go check out the number of teepees in the photo down below. I'll go ask Tinkerbell if she knows since it seems like she's been here the longest," I instructed.

Sora and I flew to our respective destinations to complete our tasks. When I got into the cave, I was met with eager eyes from the boys.

"Yumi! Did you figure it out?" Slightly asked.

"Almost," I responded. "There's one part of the puzzle we can't figure out. The photos seem to be telling a story but we aren't sure what it is. Tinkerbell, do you think you could help?"

She looked to Peter for approval.

"I'll help too! Since Tink and I are such great communicators," Peter answered for her.

'Good gravy…'

"...awesome. So we need to figure out the order of the photos as that's going to tell us what order the numbers go in. Do you think you could go take a look at them and see what stands out to you?"

Tinkerbell nodded and her and Peter were off to go check out the other pictures. As they left, Sora came back in.

"Looks like there was only one teepee in that photo, but you're right. It was really hard to tell."

"Great. So we now have all the numbers, just need the order. I sent Peter and Tinkerbell to take a look. Hopefully they won't be too long."

We waited for a few more minutes but I could tell the boys were getting impatient. Sora was trying to tell them a story about his last set of adventures, but the boys didn't seem to care.

"We want our own adventure!" one of the twins said.

"Yeah. Like opening that treasure chest," the other responded.

"No one goes near the chest until we have the numbers," I said.

"But-" Nibs started.

"No! You aren't the ones who have to deal with the consequences of messing up," Sora stated.

"Booooo. This is why we don't want to grow up," Cubby jeered.

Sora rolled his eyes. As if they knew things were getting messy, Peter and Tinkerbell came through the cave entrance.

"FINALLY!" Cubby said. "What are the numbers so I can enter them?"

Tinkerbell looked down.

"Well it seems we have a slight problem," Peter started.

The group groaned.

"Tink said that there are two different ways the story could be told. Either Hook met with the Indians, looked out to Skull Rock, and then made it there, or it goes backwards."

"We could try both combinations?" Sora asked.

"No. I don't know what is going to come out of there and I'm worried if we mess it up then we will have a big problem on our hands. Remember what Luxord said?"

Sora seemed to agree and began pacing. I looked back at the photo and tried to get a feel for something. I looked at Captain Hook, feeling like something about him had to give me some sort of hint to the story. I felt like I had smacked myself in the brain with an idea.

"Sora, Peter, I'm going out on a limb here - ha - and I need your help. Go to the other caves and look at Captain Hook's hook."

Peter saluted me and was out of the cave right away. Sora gave me a quizzical look and followed suit. If my suspicions were right, this is showing the story of how Hook came to find Skull Rock, but also how he lost his hand. In the picture in front of me, Hook had both hands. I was pretty sure the photo in the mouth cave had one hand and one hook, so if the one in the eye socket was two hands I was pretty sure I was right.

When both boys came back I had them tell me which photo they saw and what they noticed about the hands. To my satisfaction, I was right: two hands in the picture where they were looking at Skull Rock and one hand when they made it.

"Great. I'm going to go try to put that code in the lock. There is a chance it could be wrong, so I want everyone to be prepared. Sora, I want you to stand guard by the back of the chest. Boys, I want you to - "

Before I could finish my thought, I turned and saw Tootles turning the numbers on the lock to open the chest. Sora was starting to shout at him to stop, and I ran to pull him away from the chest. Unfortunately I wasn't fast enough to get him to stop, and before I knew it, everything went black.

Sora's POV

Yumi and Tootles were sucked into the chest right in front of everyone. There was a beat of silence before all the boys began to scream out in a panic.

"WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!"

"WHERE DID THEY GO?!"

"WHERE'S THE TREASURE?!"

I was trying to process what had just happened in front of me. Everything the boys were shouting was a thought in my brain and they bounced around like it was a ping pong game. A maniacal laugh broke me from my thoughts.

Drawing my keyblade, I shouted, "Show yourself!"

A portal appeared and a man in a black coat came out from it.

"Thought you had seen the last of me, did you Sora?" the man asked.

Removing his hood, I saw that I was once again faced with Vexen.

"I must admit, Luxord's plan to lure you here wasn't the most crafty, but it did its job. Now you must be a good little keyblade master and go find your girlfriend."

"Where did you take her?!"

"Me? Please, kidnapping is below me. All I did was create the teleporting technology. The rest was set up by someone else."

I was confused. He created teleportation devices but then didn't use them?

"I can see your confusion and yes. I did. This was merely a test of my devices. A way to redeem myself after you ruined my plans with the dragons. Seems this one worked out much better."

"Ugh I don't have time for this! Just tell me who you were working with?"

"It seems you have missed the most obvious piece of the puzzle, Sora. I was just popping in to say well done, and we look forward to working with you again soon."

At that, I jumped up to attack Vexen. He was too quick for me though and disappeared in a portal before I could reach him.

'Damnit Yumi, where are you?'

Yumi's POV

"I didn't know it would send us to jail, Yumi! Honestly I just wanted to get to the treasure. I will never disobey you or Sora ever again."

Tootles had been either crying or apologizing for the last 10 minutes as I tried to get my bearings on where we were. From the amount of wood around us, I assumed we had to be either in some sort of cellar or on a ship. Considering what world we were in, it was more than likely we were in a cellar on a ship. My guess: Hook's ship.

"Listen, Tootles, I'm not going to tell you it's fine, because frankly I don't know where exactly we are or how much trouble we are actually in, but I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed."

Oh…oh no…I'm turning into my mother.

"THAT'S WOOOOOORSEEEE."

Great, he's crying again.

I walked over to Tootles and scooped him into my lap. I shushed him, rubbed his back, rocked him, and hummed some of Sora's song to try and get him to calm down. After a few minutes he seemed to slow his tears and was hiccuping his breaths.

"H-how are we g-going to get out of h-here?" he asked.

"I'm not too sure buddy. It looks like there's a lock on the door I can try and open, but I'm not sure what's on the outside of the door and I want you to be safe, ok? Our options are you staying here out of sight while I look around, or you coming with me but you'd have to defend yourself. I think the first option is smarter, don't you?"

Tootles nodded.

"But I'm scared," he admitted.

"Mmmm, can I tell you a secret?" Another nod. "I'm scared too."

"What?! But Yumi you were so brave swimming in that water with Tick Tock."

"Being brave doesn't mean you aren't scared," I told him. "Being brave means that you do something even though you're scared. Being scared means you care about something, and if we were 'brave' without being scared then we would just be doing something stupid."

He laughed and said, "Okay. I'll wait here for you while you scope out the area."

I smiled down at him and placed him on the floor. I reassured him I would be back as soon as I could and Tootles went to hide behind some boxes. I drew my keyblade and unlocked the door to the cellar, bracing myself for whatever was on the other side. Opening the door slowly, I took inventory of what I could in the room. Some more boxes, a long wooden pole down the center of the room leading up to the lower deck, some barrels. It looked like we were in the underpart of a ship.

'Good deducing self.'

I creeped out and tried to find anything that would help me get an exact location on my whereabouts. Without being able to see the outside world it was hard for me to determine anything, and I didn't want to reach out to Sora without an exact location. Although I was still trying to figure out how our bond worked, I knew he would be called to me if I asked, but I wasn't sure how close he would get if I didn't even know where I was. Deciding I needed to get to the upper deck I started to climb on top of the boxes.

'Now would be a great time to sing the James Bond theme song.'

You know what inner voice? Yeah, it would. Take it away.

Pulling out my best ninja/secret agent moves, I climbed my way to the top of a stack of boxes. I noticed a hatch door over the top of a stack close by and worked my way over to the door. Not knowing what was on the other side of it I stopped to listen for any noises.

"I'm telling you Smee, the plan is foolproof!"

"Aye Captain, but what about the, uhm, small issue of Peter Pan and Sora."

Clearly Hook and Smee were in the room above me. Great.

"Peter Pan can't do a thing without that blasted pixie, and Sora is hopeless without that girl. We already have that girl locked up thanks to our secret treasure trap, and Tinkerbell will walk right into our trap when the boys try to trade her for the skunk. Once we have the girls locked up we will easily defeat the boys and I will finally get my revenge on Peter by sacrificing him to the croc who took me hand."

"A brilliant plan, Captain! But are you not worried about having the girl on board and the bad luck she will bring?"

"We aren't sailing so we should be fine. As long as we are docked by the Indians we'll be fine. Besides, we are going to meet them at the Indian Campgrounds so our luck won't be anywhere near the ship."

Well…that was easier than I expected. Although in a world where you are surrounded by kids all the time I don't think Hook and Smee have had any reason to use their brains that much. In fact, it's kind of weird that they're the only adults here.

Without dwelling on it much longer I started the trek back to Tootles, calling out to Sora with my heart.

Sora's POV

After Vexen left I started trying to think of "obvious" places that Yumi might have been sent to. I had to keep reminding myself that this was a world filled with children so any riddles we were given were sure to include a trap with the answer they would want to choose.

"The pictures must be the answer. We have to go to the Indian Camp!" Peter shouted.

I shook my head.

"Something doesn't seem right about that Peter. Just like how they lead us here and we got messed up, I think the camp would be a trap too," I explained.

"Hook isn't that smart Sora. I'm sure that's where he's waiting for us. We have no time to lose: he has Tootles. C'mon boys!"

With that, the boys all took off after Peter and began their flight to the shore. I jumped up to follow them, but as I got out of the cave, I felt a pull in a different direction.

'Yumi…?'

I felt the pull stronger. It had to be her. I didn't want to leave the boys to face Hook by themselves, but I knew they weren't going to find Yumi and Tootles by following their poor lead. Who's to say that things wouldn't get worse if I went there and got captured too? I had to go to Yumi.

When I focussed on the pull I was urged to go upwards. Not one to question the bond, I shot straight up. Thinking back to the last time I was here, I had a gut feeling I knew where I was going so I wasn't at all surprised that I came upon a floating ship a few minutes later. As I landed on the upper deck I had no qualms about blowing my cover since I knew Hook would be waiting for the boys down on the shore.

"YUMI?!" I shouted. "YUMI WHERE ARE YOU?!"

The tug was stronger now. It led me into the captain's quarters of the ship. When I entered and didn't see her I called out again. The pull was leading me through the floor. Looking round for the trap door I kept yelling for Yumi so I could essentially play hot/cold to find her. I was getting a little worried when she wasn't vocally responding and tried to tamper down my panic so I could focus on the task at hand. I mean really, how many times did she have to prove to me that she was capable of taking care of herself?

'But how great would it feel if you got to take care of her?'

NOT THE TIME BRAIN.

Finally finding the door that led to the underbelly of the ship, I gave a small fist pump to myself and opened the hatch. Not even bothering to look what was below me I jumped down, again calling out for Yumi.

"Sora we're over here!" I heard her shout.

Running over to the door she had opened, I didn't even slow down as I grabbed her and pulled her into a hug.

"Stop leaving me with those boys," I joked.

Yumi laughed. I felt her slowly wrap her arms around me.

"Sorry. You know I'm a sucker for self sacrifice so I had to go with Tootles."

On cue the boy popped up from behind a few boxes.

"Is it safe to come out yet?" he asked.

Yumi slowly pulled back from me and turned to the boy, waving him over. I still had my hands on her shoulders and I could see the blush rising to her face.

"Sora, you can let go of me now," she said softly.

'Well maybe I don't want to.'

Keeping my thoughts to myself I let my hands drag from her shoulders down to her hands, gave them a quick squeeze, and let her go. When Tootles had come over to us I explained where the rest of the boys were and Yumi filled me in on what she had overheard from Smee and Captain Hook.

"Sounds like we better get this ship down to the natives then," Yumi declared. "Do you know how to drive the ship?"

She was looking at me with some kind of emotion in her eyes. I couldn't tell what it was, but I did know it made my heart skip a beat.

'Embarrassing. Hope she didn't feel that.'

"Uh, yeah I think so. Can't be much different than when I helped Captain Jack steer his ship right? Just have to think about gravity…"

Yumi and Tootles laughed. We worked our way out to the upper deck so I could get to the steering wheel and try to maneuver us back down to shore.

"So…getting any deja vu feelings yet?" Yumi asked as she stood beside me.

"What do you mean?"

"Well this is where you saw and rescued Kairi, right? Now you had to come rescue me. Not saying it's the exact same but you have to admit there are some similarities."

"I mean…yeah I guess. But this time it was different."

"How so?"

How do I explain to her that when I saw Kairi, I was immediately filled with determination to save her, but when I saw Yumi I just got filled with joy that she was okay but also deflated that I wasn't helping? That I never doubted she wouldn't be okay, but I almost wanted her to have been in trouble so I could be the one to rescue her? Did I really just have a hero complex, or was it that I wanted her to be the one to run to me and hug me knowing I was okay rather than me run to her? And what did it mean that I didn't even think about Kairi or Riku until Yumi had just brought them up?

"Sora…?"

"Oh, sorry. Uh, I was just thinking that when I saw Kairi, I was so happy to see her. But I knew you were going to be here."

"Oh."

"Not that I wasn't happy to see you! Just…you know…we were only separated for a few minutes. Plus there was no danger on the ship like last time. Also there was no Riku here, which is disappointing in its own sense, but I just mean -"

"Right. Sure, yeah I get it. Different circumstances, different feelings. Totally understand."

'Way to go idiot.'

I never claimed to be great with words. Before I could stick my foot even further in my mouth though, a beach filled with teepees came into sight. We could see Captain Hook and Smee standing a few feet away from Peter, Tinkerbell, and the lost boys ready for battle.

"Do you really think he wanted to come save you Tinkerbell? Come with us and we will make sure you are well taken care of," Captain Hook said.

"Don't listen to him Tink! Of course I was going to come, remember?" Peter pleaded.

"I'm getting tired of this, boy. Tinkerbell, come with us or I will make sure Peter Pan goes right back to Wendy's and never returns. Don't think I don't know all about his little rendezvous and how to make sure he gets stuck there next time he goes. Because there will be a next time."

As we got closer, we could see Tinkerbell start to float towards Hook. The Lost Boys were protesting against it but it seemed she had made up her mind. Tinkerbell paused right in front of the two men to look back at the boys and Smee took that moment to snap her into a chest he had hidden behind his back. Laughing, Hook opened the chest to show it was empty before anyone could come after him.

He said to Peter, "Oh don't worry. I have her locked away safely with that other girl. As long as you do what I say they'll both be fine."

Yumi gasped. "Sora! She's going to that little room Tootles and I were locked in. I'm going to go get her."

She ran towards the cabin with Tootles hot on their trail. As the ship came to rest on the water behind Hook I could fully see the look on everyone's faces. Peter looked like he was ready to start fighting and all the boys looked like they were going to cry. I knew I had to say something before Peter made things worse.

"Hey Hook!" I hollered. He spun around and his face dropped into a scowl. "You want me? Come and get me."

With an unseemingly jump, Hook sprang up onto the deck of the ship and grumbled, "It's time for me to show you what the Organization has in store for you."

Yumi's POV

I let Tootles into the room first to look for Tinkerbell. I knew she would be more receptive to coming out to someone she knew rather than some stranger she just met. As I waited for Tootles outside the door to the makeshift prison, I couldn't help but let my thoughts wander. I imagined what it had been like for Riku, Sora, and Kairi the last time they were here. Kairi probably has no recollection of being on the ship, but Riku has confronted Sora here and I know that was a tough memory for Riku to relive. We never discussed it, but knowing Riku the way I did I know that any time he reflected on his journey in the darkness he had an easy tell and would get melancholy for the next few days. It surprised me that Sora didn't feel a sense of sadness when I asked him about his last visit here. Maybe it had all been washed away because of the strong feelings of happiness and love he had once he had finally seen Kairi and, taking him at face value, maybe he was okay with seeing Riku because he had left with Kairi so he knew she would be alright. Obviously that backfired in the aftermath but Sora may not have connected those dots yet. At the end of the day everything worked out so why would he dwell on the sad things?

It did make me a little upset that I wouldn't be able to make him as happy on this trip as he had been on his last one. There was no saving any damsels in distress, no Riku or Kairi to be seen, and really no more answers to any of our issues. The only thing we could check off his fun list was flying with someone else to bear witness, and we hadn't even really done that together. More like in tandem at different places but at the same time. This trip was really a bummer.

'Yeah, but you did get to hug Sora.'

I mean, yeah, but it was a relief hug not a love hug.

'So you want a love hug?'

No? Maybe? I don't know, not when it feels like a surrogate moment for what he wanted to do before. Clearly he didn't have strong feelings for me one way or another or he would have mentioned the familiar feeling of seeing me like when he saw Kairi, right?

'Or maybe he's just a boy and can't explain himself well.'

Look, I choose to focus on the things I know and am not assuming. And I know if I want to count any kind of fuzzy feeling to that moment, it was probably because our bond worked so well and he was able to find me quickly with no one being hurt. So this could be a useful strategy in the future.

'It could also mean-'

NO. I'm not playing this game right now. Dream or no dream, I'm done entertaining the gooey feelings for Sora. I'm spending more time thinking about that than I am about Riku and Kairi which is not fair. Sora would probably agree anyway.

Tootles and Tinkerbell emerged from the room at that point. I said a quiet hello and asked if everything was okay. Tinkerbell nodded.

"Okay, let's go back on deck then and make sure everyone knows you're fine."

We once again made our way through the room to get into the Captain's quarters. Once we were in the room we could hear voices talking.

"Looks like your sword skills have improved Captain," Sora said.

"I'm a pirate, lad! What else do I have time to do besides sail the seas and look for treasure than sword fight," he responded.

I ran over to the door and tried to open it. It was stuck so I tried to use my keyblade to unlock it. Unfortunately that didn't work. I ran over to the window to look out the cabin and saw Sora and Hook clashing swords on the deck. This didn't look like a typical sword fight though: Hook was fighting more like a warrior in battle than he was like the parrying fencer I was told he was. In fact, he wasn't using a fencing sword at all. It looked more like a sword a knight would have been fighting with.

"You sure you didn't get any help with those moves?" Sora asked as he dodged a downward swing from Hook.

"Well, as you know my friends in the black coat did give me a few things on their last visit. A promise to keep my youth, a few teleporting chests, and a sword to help me keep any new pirates trying to steal my treasure. All in exchange to help get you and that girl be their little lab rats."

"Oh yeah? What were they testing? Seems like with most things you failed to follow the instructions if we found out about your plans."

Nice. Sora was playing right into Hook's stupidity to get him to lay out the plan. I appreciated his tactic but didn't like that I was trapped in here when Hook clearly seemed to be more powerful than Sora expected.

"Fail?" Hook asked between swipes. "Me? You're mistaken, boy. My job was to get you to test the teleporter in an everyday object and that worked. It's just a nice little bonus that I captured your girlfriend and that pixie. I'll deliver you and the girl and they will let me travel to other worlds to get all the treasure my heart desires!"

Sora landed a pretty decent hit on Hook who stumbled back. It sounded like he had explained as much as he knew, or he had hoped to know and the fight grew more intense. I stood helpless as I watched them go shot for shot. Sora was on the offensive, landing more hits than Hook. But when Hook swung his shots seemed to be more powerful compared to what Sora was hitting. It was almost like his sword was collecting all the energy of the blocked shots that Sora used to hit him and then shot it out when he swung.

Tinkerbell and Tootles joined me at the window as we watched the battle ensue. It felt like a lifetime just watching the two swing at each other when it had probably only been about five minutes. I was getting antsy watching Sora make little progress, not because he wasn't trying, but because Hook's reflexes to block were so good. It was ridiculous.

'If there were two of us out there we could attack together and there's no way he would be able to get us both.'

As if he heard my thoughts Sora looked towards the window, taking his eyes off his opponent. Taking that as his cue, Hook swung at Sora and shot him right through the door beside us.

"SORA!" I shouted as I ran to him.

He had slid across the floor and has smacked his head os the wall of the ship.

"Ouch…" he murmured as I ran over to him.

I knelt down and looked him over. Some small scratches but nothing bad enough to need to cast cure on him.

"Hey, you okay?" I asked as I looked into his eyes.

He blinked a few times before shaking his head.

"Yeah, just wasn't expecting to be hit that hard. What happened to the cowardly guy we saw when we first came here?" Sora asked.

He used his keyblade like a cane and pulled himself up. I got up and grabbed his bicep on the other side of him to make it a little easier.

'Holy mother of-'

"SWORD!" I shouted. "I, uh, think it's his sword. It's got to be enchanted or something. Either he met with the organization before we got here and was acting when we ran into him at the lagoon or they got to him after. My guess is it was all a ruse to make sure we were doing what they wanted."

Sora nodded and tried to brush himself off. A task that was probably not easy since I had both my hands still firmly placed on his bicep. His very strong, flexing, muscular bicep. He either didn't notice me feeling him up or just didn't seem to care as he showed no reaction to my touch.

"So what's the plan Coach?" he asked.

That question snapped me out of my inappropriate thinking.

"We have to attack him at the same time. There is no way he can block us both if we go from different sides. Since he's looking for you, how would you feel about being a distraction and I'll sneak up on him?"

"WHERE ARE YOU SORA? COME OUT AND FIGHT LIKE A MAN."

"Sounds good," he agreed.

Sora walked to the door and I walked over to Tinkerbell and Tootles.

"Hey, can you make sure that door is locked to our makeshift prison down there?" I asked Tootles.

"Sure Yumi! But how?"

We took a quick look around the room as we heard Sora and Hook begin fighting again. I saw a set of keys on the Captain's desk and smiled.

"Grab that key and move as fast as you can. I have to go help out Sora."

Tootles ran over to grab the key, and when I saw him start to climb below deck I peeked out the open door.

"Blasted child. Why are you always motivated by some girl on my ship? Can't you just stick to one on land and keep away from the Jolly Roger?" Hook asked as he blocked one of Sora's shots.

"I do stick to one girl!" Sora shouted back as he tried to swipe at Hook again.

"But this new girl is not the princess you were trying to save last time. Tell me boy, do you think it's worth the work for this new woman? Think about what happened last time. You lost your best friend."

Sora didn't respond and slashed harder at Hook. Hook then quickly swung back at Sora and managed to land a hit, cutting a horizontal slash across Sora's chest and ripping his shirt. Hook laughed.

"I tried to warn you, Sora. Women are bad luck aboard a pirate ship. Why did you think this new one would change things?"

Taking Hook's words a little too close to heart I ran out and jumped, slashing at Hook from above. I managed to land a hit on his shoulder which caused him to stumble forward. I landed beside Sora. Hook looked up, shocked, and Sora and I got into a battle stance.
